LeEco Le Pro3 - User Reviews

  • After 3 years of its release. This phone is still one of the best phones you can buy for the price, which is amazing and shows how much profit margin phone companies have in their pricing. Today 6GB/64GB version is available for about 140euro. It is also possible to install Android 9 on it using LineageOS, unlike many other devices released in 2016 by some large companies who does not update their devices. Snapdragon 821 is still one of the top 3 processors produced by Qualcomm (after 855 and 845). I bought another LeEco Pro3 just last month because could not find a better phone for the price. Next phone with 845 processor was twice the price with 10% better performance increase. Makes no sense to buy any other device.

  • Use LineageOS and you can get Android 9 on your LeEco Pro3

  • I'll never buy it anymore!! After blocked, it's very difficult to turn it anymore

  • Almost all SoCs nowadays are 64 bit.

  • Its a 64 bit processor with all kinds of cunning edge tech its predecessor was used in the s7 and s8

  • hey i know how to get a better rom on the le pro 3, it runs much smoother and cleaner

  • what rom

  • Dear, pls send the link , that Rom

  • US version has 4 GB of RAM .Mine is still working fine as of 6/21/2018. Stuck with Android 6.1 since LeEco pulled out of US -there are some newer OS versions (ROM) if you are willing to try one.Phone is really fast, camera pictures are ok in good light, in low light are mediocre.

  • I had exactly same problem. Also extreme battery drain problem. i tried all EUI versions staring from 5.9.19/23/26 and latest 29s But one or other problem. Lastly i found beautiful ROM, without Chinese bloatware. No call drop/No battery drain. It is ROM for coolpad but , repacked for Le 3 pro X720. ROM JUI x720 08-10-17 Method: You have to use TWRP( I am not expert, still managed to get work done refering to Youtube and Forums) Pros : Any time you can come back to EUI using same(TWRP)

  • Leaving a dot here for when i get mine.

  • you need to read more details of kryo bro

  • Cores and clock speed say nothing. The used architecture, and thus the size of the cores, is important, and the Kryo cores are pretty big, but only half as big as the cores of the iPhone 6s.

  • Leeco was the first company who made a smartphone without a headphone jack.

  • I still don't get how a quad core with that clock speed can get an antutu score that high? Is it the gpu or something?

  • same issue here. i can make calls but cannot connect to internet. simple browsing also is a problem. factory reset it but still the same.

  • Hello all. I need help. Fingerprint sensor was working correctly but when I install the recent update it suddenly stopped working I don't know what's the problem can anyone help please please please

  • Great phone, using it for almost a year and a half. It also work flawlessly with DJI GO app, no video lag.

  • The latest experimental version you can get for this phone is Oreo AICP ROM. Look up [ROM] [8.1] [Pre-Official] AICP 13.1 (Pro3 aka zl0, X722) And [ROM] [8.1] [Pre-Official] AICP 13.1 (Pro3 aka zl1, zl0, X727,X720,X722) It's still experimental, many bugs, etc, but it's important that more people use it and report bugs, the better ROM will be made.

  • Everyone who owns this phone and want a newer version, should join xda-developer.com, the more people join and donate the faster there will be stable oreo release.

  • Reset the phone with factory software

  • - What is the exact model of your phone? LX727? - From the Mobile network settings, make sure the Preferred network type is (selected): TD-SCDMA/LTE/GSM/WCDMA/CMDA/EvDo

  • Bought this phone a month ago and it worked great at first with the regular ROM 19s. I found a manual update online to bring it to 21s ROM, thats when the trouble started. The phone recognizes the sim but doesn't connect to the network. Or it connects the odd time then not again. No calls, no mobile internet. Thought it was a software issue so updated to the omni ROM, same problem. I reset apn settings , deleted apn and rebooted, reset network settings... Nothing It sits at emergency calls only. It can't be a sim issue, I put that sim in my lg g5 and have data and network connection. Anyone with this phone have any ideas?

  • For the love of cookies, make sure to flash a custom OS. I use Omni Rom, but anything custom will do better than the default one. Also, I am quite sure you will not benefit from +2gb ram for the lifetime of this device, i would go for 4/64 unless the price difference is meh.

  • This phone does look too good to be true even a year+ after it's initial release. I've just ordered one of these from deal extreme ;) (6GB /64GB Rose Gold) It should arrive sometime in the next 3-4 weeks and all being well it could be sooner. I will let you all know how the phone performs etc when I've spent a few days using it :)

  • Replaced the stock ROM with AEX, now the phone works like a charm.

  • when this mobile launched in india?

  • which can I buy the International version?

  • I just got the phone today, and it's a good phone for the money I pay (195$ for 64GB Storage and 4GB RAM version) speaking on performance and the way it looks, I hate those big black bezels of course but the display it's grate after all. Battery life it's very good and it charge very fast, 0 to 100% like in one hour maybe. Finger print response very fast, but I noticed that in sometimes you can feel the heat from the SN821 in that area, Don't know if is normal or not XD ...Camera, what I can say? It just average, it's not best camera in the market but for what I need it's good. And come on! We can get use to eUI XD, Or just use Google Now Launcher and problem solved! XD

  • pls, this is like the most inappropriate place to write that. U should better take a look here

  • I have the same problem! At least 10 times a day... And when I try to report the issue, it freezes and won't allow reports to send. Wouldn't even let me set up a LeEco profile

  • Good morning, I'm already decided to buy this cell phone for my budget, but I would like you to help me install the zip and the best ROMs to get the most out of this cell phone, thank you very much, I'm new to the subject of ROMs thank you.

  • I believe that this Smartphone (with some Software-Modifications) is the best you can get in this price range. I strongly suggest you install the following zips & apps: Latest RR rom Google Camera with HDR+ ported to Snapdragon 820/821 devices Google Lens enabler Latest Magisk

  • There are several Roms available on XDA that are heavily supported. However, there are also official Leeco updates available that update the security to March 2017, which is same month that my Samsung received its last update. Plus, the latest available stock Rom is EUI 5.8.21s, it disables all unwanted Leeco bloatware apps. Where there is no longer a pressing need to switch out roms right away. In addition, everything works by manually updating with the factory update. Important things such as Android Pay and Safety Net.

  • Go to the official website of AOSP Extended, it's the best and highly stable ROM for this device.

  • Thanks, I don't need a headphone jack

  • There's some at xda-developers.

  • can anyone give me the link for the unofficial rom for le pro 3, and the method also to update.. :-)

  • Hi, I am having the exact same problem unlocking the bootloader but both links you provide in your post no longer work.

  • le pro 3 x727 us model with support all lte bands

  • Excellent fast phone with good camera, nice sound/speakers, better than decent screen, well designed power n volume side buttons, and very good battery length. Very affordable. Only additional wish I have would be for an edge to edge screen.

  • so real and true!

  • 4G: FDD-LTE: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/29/30/38; TDD-LTE:38/39/40/41 So 3 & 7 yes, 20 no

  • I believe it does not, but it is a good thing that it does not. So we don't have to pay for something which doesn't work anyway. Gorilla glass is a marketing trick. I had many versions of the gorilla glass and they still get cracked and scratched. This is why they keep on making "better" versions of it every other year. You will be tempted to think that it works this time :) but... Still yet, they do not have scientific tests proving that gorilla glass improves screen durability. Sure, it can be harder etc. but that doesn't translate into instant benefits. I have the Max 2 model of this phone and I use a glass screen protector over it. It costs $1 to protect my display and I have no cracks or scratches. Problem solved without paying $$$ for proprietary technology :)

  • Hi, do this phone the LeTV LeEco Le Pro 3 X727 support 4G band 20/3/7 ? Some say Yes some say no. What what the main difference from X720 to X727? Thx

  • Yes, some of us do because we are out in the field, working away from cities, places where we can't get a mobile signal for media streaming. Sadly way too many manufacturers don't seem to think that there are people who work out of cities and require a good antenna to get a mobile signal at all, instead they seem too focused on making phones that if you leave the suburbs by more than a mile you can't use the thing to even make a call.

  • Like somebody uses that radio today,omg.....

  • Please note that the US version does not officially support bootloader unlocking. You have to use a workaround to unlock it. Get the file from here: Unzip it, then: fastboot flash xbl xbl.elf fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn Then reboot and do the bootloader unlock command. (Source: This phone is amazing once it's running LineageOS.

  • Hi the specs say it has FM Radio....can someone confirm it does.. What about Gorilla Glass.... Thanks

  • it's gorgeous due to almost no competition in the price range with even remotely similar options. it feels underwhelming only if you specifically know what to miss in it, or have stock rom, which no one should

  • If you ever buy a Le 2/3 Please, change your ROM, it is the key to fully enjoy that phone! The stock rom is a piece of shit! Install BB72's ROM from XDA forums ;) If I ever had tested that phone with original stock ROM, i would NEVER EVER buy it! Change the ROM to unlock 110% of this phone!

  • I'm a bit in my mind about the product. The first pictures taken by the device are not good and look hollow and lifeless. Second, the device somehow does not respond well to the touch. On the other hand, the device is very fast and looks good.

  • le eco le pro 3 when availabe in india

  • GSMarena... Where is the Battery life test? Where is the review?

  • Best bang for your buck this phone. Performance- Awesome. 161711 score on Antutu Build Quality- Awesome. SOLID metal construction. Acts as a heat sink too.. Camera- Abit meh unless you install OpenCamera app. Battery- Lasts till you sleep. With quickchargers, this phones doesnt need a bulky powerbank Stability- 3 months in on mine . Never misses a beat although mine is a 6GB RAM version. Fingerprint sensor- Abit slow. New firmware in May have improved it alot. GPS- Locks in less than 15 seconds

  • It has Gorilla Glass 3. Why sometimes gsmarena.com excludes things which are presented exactly on the producers page?

  • true hahaha. its not really satisfying but ... it's an ok cam

  • What you folk fail to realise is the dodgy LeEco software can be flashed for a much cleaner ROM. There you go

  • based on my experienced The battery of le pro3 is really superb. I used this smartphone for 6mos. now and i don't have any complaint regarding performance/ speed is very good` and affordable and yet powerful. if you only knew how to use it well maybe you will understand what i am saying. Mi5s is great smartphone too.

  • Xiaomi Mi 5 has way better battery life than any OP phone, so it depends on what you want.

  • Yes I agree but Mi5 costs 1/3 less than OnePlus 3T

  • As for this phone vs Mi5, I would advise to avoid both of them and go for OnePlus 3T it's way better than Mi5 and LeEco Le Pro3, it's durable, the Oxygen UI has minimal modifications and it's way faster than Mi5.

  • For your information. Although Mi Mix survived bend and scratch tests it didn't survive the drop test. Ceramic used on Mi Mix was too brittle and cracked easily. If Mi5 Ceramic Edition uses the same ceramic body as Mi Mix then it would fail the drop test too. Mi5 didn't fail the bend test due to weak body, it failed due to its weal chassis made from low grade and brittle aluminium alloy. And remember when the chassis is weak no body panel can protect a device.

  • I got this...

  • Do not buy this phone. This is kind of junk which fell prey to cheap manufacturing and finishing. Maybe you look at the phone and see all the features at a plus which in reality are not how they work. There are several complains (on leeco forum, on leeco.re, on xda) about this phone going dead unpredictably (just like how LG G4 had bootloop issue). This phone set has no unbricking measures on shelf and all u have to do is bear the cost of delivery as well as recieving the phone set back with extra customs tax for the sake of repair/recovery. Do no buy this phone as if you were out of warranty you'll be left on your own. Its just another 270$ into chinese crap which isn't durable.

  • WOW... This is what happens when u ask an advise to SMART-ASS NOOBS... -) "the front camera of Le Pro3 not only has higher megapixel" ANYONE with photography knowledge knows HIGHER PIXEL MEANS NOTHING COMPARED TO HIGHER APERTURE & HIGHER PIXEL SIZE. Mi5 has 4MP UltraPixel camera as front camera with f/2.0 & 2µm pixel size. That means, Le Pro3 8mp front cam with f/2.2 & 1.4 µm pixel size is PATHETIC compared to Mi5 UltraPixel. -) "Le Pro3 is also more ruggedly built than Mi 5. Mi 5 has horribly failed durability tests." Why don't we compare Le Pro3 specs with Mi5 ceramic which have similar 4GB RAM? Let alone scratch test, Mi5 ceramic edition cannot be bend at all & can survive drop test several times, similar to Mi Mix durability test done by JerryRig. BTW, Le Pro3 still use eMMC while Mi5 series use UFS 2.0, MUCH BETTER storage type used by Pixel & S7. Moreover, MIUI is well-known for its fast & long software update. Even the 4 years old Mi3 & 3 years old Mi4 still get updates to MIUI8 till now, something IMPOSSIBLE for LeEco to copy. If I were u & I STILL want a LeEco smartphone, I'd go for Le Max 2 over Le Pro3, as SD 821 only have 10% better performance than SD820, Le Max 2 have BETTER display (5.7 inch QHD) & main camera (20.7MP with OIS)

  • WOW

  • Go for Le Pro3 if you want better camera. The rear camera of Le Pro3 may be same as Mi5 but the front camera of Le Pro3 not only has higher megapixel. Other than that reason Le Pro3 is also more ruggedly built than Mi 5. Mi 5 has horribly failed durability tests.

  • i am waiting for this phone to launch in India, plz confirm the launch date in india

  • I have the Mi5.....its a very good stable phone. I just got the Pro3 today and I am very impressed. The camera also seems very good at a glance. I look forward to enjoying the big battery.

  • both shit in camera

  • Nope your wrong, i bought this smartphone since october last year and still the speed didnt change the performance are still ok. Maybe your device was secondhand. Just k. Peace yoh.

  • Between xiaomi mi 5 and leEco le pro 3, which one is better in camera and performance (heavy user)

  • This phone volte support

  • Don't suggest any one to buy this phone. Isn't so perform as it should be. 5~10times/day system not responding

  • Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 months of testing, (I bought it in December 2016) can confirm that ,this model LeEco Pro 3, he managed to pass all tests, made of me, well. In conclusion, I can announce those who want a super-powerful phone, at a fair price, yours have now. Advertising can pay, those from Samsung, Apple, etc. do nothing. The most performant. most god, most best, etc. smartphones the year 2016, is...LeEco Pro 3. This phone will be bought only smart guys, which not throw ....with money....on the window....on rubble ( kind of products, apple, samsung, google.. etc.)

  • Have this phone any problem? what be prise in india?

  • Simple but beastly specs. Good job le eco but i hope they will update the os to nougat, still great device.

  • Best smartphone ever. Its really Cheap with a top chipset inside... amazing isnt it. ;) .

  • What is the Probable date of launching of LeEco Le Pro 3 model in India?????

  • Amazing phone, i bought in the first day of sales in USA, (november 2016) and was, by far, the best phone i had. But, only 20 days lather, the phone turn of (sofware problem) and i had to give back to Leeco. they accept and refund me fast. I think that i just had a bad luck.

  • It's not a fault of the phone. This phone is eqquiped with a big one battery. So it usually drains more current of the usb port to charge. The notebook usb posts are standardized to suplly 5V-1A and this phone needs more. Google about quick charge 3.0 technology. You will understand what I'm saying.

  • Why LeEco is not releasing this model in india?

  • I realy like this phone, i brought it on october 20 so i can say that this phone was worth its price. I wasnt sure to buy it, since Xiaomi note I wasnt too good for me, the connection in my country was realy lacking, it was quiet, and sometime i did have software issues after less then 2 mounth of use. But Le eco pro 3 is different, after 3 mounth I still think it was a good call to buy this one. after first touch it feel like it will break fast, but after few falls only glass protector was broken.

  • it turned out the charging cable was the culprit.... I tried to use a different charger and the lepro3 started to charge again... I used the cable of the new charger and plugged it to the original charger of the lepro3 and it worked....

  • I bought the phone late november '16, 6GB RAM version. It is amazing, it runs very fast and there are no problems with the display. Before this I used to have an Xiaomi Mi 3, and I was very pleased with it as well. I reccomed you Xiaomi Mi 5S which is a wanderful phone at a right price on Honourbuy.com.It is reduced and it comes from EU Warehouse. Good luck!

  • Mine is working well.

  • i have this phone since October last year and it was working well... yesterday, there was a latest update so I downloaded the update but I noticed that the phone was not charging using it's charger but when I connect it to my laptop and I turned it off, it was charging but very slow... I tried to complete the update thinking that it might solve the issue... after the update, I tried to charge it using the charger, the icon shows it is charging but after a few minutes, the battery level went down...it was not charging at all.... so I have to charge it using my laptop... very bad....

  • Buy other brand..if u dont like the gold kinda color.. i have this devices since oct.2016 and i don't see any problem. I'm not fanatic of chinese smartphone..but for me this phone is really amazing.

  • Hello i want buy this phone but iread that the display have problems muted colors and bazels it is true ? I didnot like gold cover where can i find other color

  • When you guy's gonna launch le3 in india ?

  • Have been using this mobile for the last 2 months and the experience is great. Its worth the money. Go ahead and buy it without any second thought.

  • Bought this phone recently. Love it! x720 which comes with unlocked bootloader. I flashed TWRP and Cyanogenmod 13 right away. Experience is mind blowing and Antutu Benchmark score hits 160K +

  • Kimovil is site where you can buy this phone

  • Has it greek language? If not when will be available?

  • When will this be available in the Philippines?

  • LeEco Pro 3 Review

  • From my experience (1 week with the phone) the AndroidPolice review is as spot on as it gets. Btw the phone supports Ant+ which isn't mentioned anywhere. A nice suprise.

  • from where you buy this

  • Hello, I just bought this phone but I can't figure out the FM radio as mentioned in the specs. Anyone has an idea why or how to get it?

  • Are you going to do review for le pro 3 ?

  • No, it's not. It is 6.0 Marshmallow with mods by LeTV eUI

  • what is update le eco le pro 3 nougat???

  • what is update le eco le pro 3 nougat???

  • is this update 7.0 nougat

  • I bought this phone on black friday from lemall. It cost me $249 plus tax because I got the $100 lerewards and a $50 dollar coupon they offered in black friday. This is an amazing phone for the price.they also include a case and preapplied screen protection. I see all the complains about the user interface, you can get rid of that in seconds by switching to google launcher. The battery life is unbelievable. I can go 2 days without charging it. Camera is not the best but it does the job. I am not a fan of the gold color but I'll put a case on it and forget about it..hey it cost me only 249 dollars. Few people told me they could not hear me very well when I put them on speaker so I don't know if that's an issue with the phone or no.there was also an issue with receiving notifications when I first got it but I found a fix for it. This phone stopped me from ordering a google pixel and I am very happy and impressed with it so far after a month of using it.

  • bro from where did u order ?? can u share ?

  • Phone body is very sturdy, it does not squek in any way if you try to twist it. I only expected the silver option would also have silver color in front, but it is not, instead it is white under and on top of the screen.

  • What about phone body? Good?

  • Received this phone a few days ago. Very satisfied with it so far. There is no sign about those leeco apps and tv subscriptions which a lot of reviewrs mention - I think this has to do with region settings, I have set it to other region and the OS is superb for me!

  • No slot to sd card, no removable battery. No sale.

  • I ordered this phone in its very first flash sale and Im impressed. I compared with Oneplus 3 and figured it out that this is far better. Phone is little heavy but camera (both) great. I spent 399, free shipping, free earphones and no tax

  • my phone hard bricked and i cannot return to life :S

  • I was going to order one of these until I saw there is no SD card slot. There's supposed to be a 128GB version available but I do not see it for sale anywhere.

  • I already ordered one, but there is still no review on this site :(.

  • Wheres the dual camera, 2k screen, 8gb ram variant disappeared to? This phone is just run of the mill compared to that version.

  • Where's the le pro 3 review?

  • Was lg g3 made from single piece of metal? Did lg g3 have a massive 4060mah battery that weighs like 80g alone? NO. I swear, some people no longer have the ability to think logically, only whine.

  • Le pro 3 will be better but at the software front mi 5 is better

  • Ieeco pro 3 on the rate are on the flipcard very fast

  • its not dual sim phone.

  • Hello Where is the review for this LeEco Le 3 Pro, please ?

  • try from honorbuy

  • This phone is the same weight as the ZTE Axon Pro - 175 grams. Way too heavy for my liking, considering the old LG G3 was only 149 grams with the same size display. Phones are getting heavier and heavier with each upgrade. Too bad with the Le Pro3 as it is a very compact phone otherwise.

  • Its the price group

  • Hi, were did you buy it? do you know a good store that's sell it to Portugal. Thank's

  • I just got my phone yesterday loving it so far. Conditioning the battery now. HAvent charged it since 10:00 pm yesterday amd I'm at 10% battery on at 3:45 PM. For the price you pay ( if you can get it for the $299) its an awesome phone, neat features, snappy.

  • because that phone support type C cable for headphones/earphones like the iphone7

  • bro how is le pro 3 mobile

  • Xiaomi Mi 5s or LeEco Le pro 3 ? Please advise ?

  • I've had the phone for a couple of weeks and can only speak positively about it. I imported it into the UK from an internet seller based in China - big retailer who installed the international ROM. The first thing to remember is just how little this costs - just $299. For that kind of money you simply can't then compare it to $500 smartphones and point out the shortcomings of the Pro 3 - because for an extra $200 they could improve the display and the camera - but they've chosen a price point and for that you get extraordinary value for money. The Snapdragon 821 is lightening quick and the 6GB RAM makes sure you can use multiple apps without any chance of there being a lag - they all zip along. I use it as a business phone and can't fault it for that. It downloads files on the move from my cloud storage, I can view PowerPoints without a problem and I use TypeApp for email which is superb. Being a former BlackBerry user who loves the keyboard and the swipe feature I have downloaded an APK and use it effortlessly. Google Voice allows me to do a lot without actually touching the phone and unlike a few people on here I get access via the fingerprint pad sub-second without any problem. The other BIG plus as a business user is the whopping great battery life. I don't have to worry any more about finding somewhere to recharge during the day when I'm out of the office on the road. I get almost 2 days out of the battery. The quick charge is exactly that - about 80 minutes for a full charge although I never go to 100% as it wrecks the battery so I stop at 90% and still have no problems with the battery running out.

  • I have a Le Pro 3 and it definitely uses Quick Charge 3.0. The battery life and charging are about the best thing on this phone. I get 24 hrs with NFC, WiFi and BT on running no power saver and custom brightness. I have never used the included charger because I have QC 3.0 and QC 2.0 chargers all around the house. I get full charge in about 1 hr.

  • No. It does have an IR blaster.

  • I've had mine a few days and I am returning it. Hardware wise it is pretty awesome. However the fingerprint reader is pretty terrible and the GUI is absolutely terrible. Without a third party launcher there is no app drawer or even apps in settings. The worst part for me is there is no way to tap to wake and the only two ways to wake the phone is the power button or the fingerprint sensor which usually takes 3 attempts to wake. This applies even when the phone is kept unlocked by trusted devices. BTW the very aggressive RAM management also shuts down my double tap app and other running programs so there goes that option. C'mon I have a $150 Huawei that wakes to double tap! Talked to Le Eco who said they will record my suggestion. All I can say about the LePass entertainment option is I am glad I'm not in China because the "Chinese Netflix" entertainment options really blow. It is very inconvenient to use on an everyday basis.

  • Turn off data when charging.

  • It is a GSM only phone. No CDMA.

  • The version being sold in the US is a 4g ram/64g storage model. How many different versions of this phone are there? There was no option when I ordered this phone to get the 6b/128g version. DAMN

  • Have you gotten your phone yet? Does it work with Verizon? Just curious. I also have Verizon and would like to switch to this phone. Never mind. I misread "version" "for "verizon". Understanding that Verizon is a CDMA based phone, but there are handful of unlocked GSM phones that will still work with Verizon given you have a SIM for 4G LTE. I apologize for the misunderstanding of your comment. You can see where I got carried away in haste to ask if it works lol.

  • My next smartphone.

  • Can we have FM radio in LeeCo Le pro3

  • Does it have FM radio can any one tell me

  • review?

  • Its price group..

  • I received my le3 and all is perfect except it charges slow. Is there an option to enable qc3?

  • 6/10 according to GSMArena. Sucks that there's no headphone jack

  • When can we buy this in Myanmar?

  • verry good product

  • couldn't agree more!

  • Are you cooked? Its USB-C type 1.0. As in the first iteration of USB-C, the same as what is found on the Nexus 6P, the Pixel etc..

  • so tell me again how this USB C 1.0 device compares to a 2.0, 3.0, or 3.1 device? Ill take dash charge with usb2.0 or 3.0 over QC 3.0 with usb 1.0. Dash charge is proven to charge faster while still maintaining cool temps. That being said I own an android device with a 2.0 capable usb c port which is also QC 3.0 capable; which I feel meets the bare minimum requirement for a new smartphone. Mine also has a 3.5mm jack which I find to be essential. For the price this is a nice phone, but at the end of the day that's all it is, is a phone. It is not a phone as well as a multimedia device, which in my mind is an essential component to a smart phone. If I wanted a nice android budget phone I would be looking towards Huawei, ASUS, or possibly Oneplus. I wanted the nicest phone and price was not the biggest factor in my decision so I went with the Xperia XZ. The LE3 Pro is a very nice phone but it is lacking some essential features I personally look for in a smart phone. If I wanted a work phone for a nice price I would consider the LE3, but for a personal multimedia device it fails to meet my standards.

  • I would have to totally agree with you. I have had 2k screens on my phones and 1080. Yes the 2k panels look slightly crisper and more definded but it is not a deal breaker. 1080 panels on a phone is much different that a monitor or a tv. So for 399 this phone is a beast and does compete just fine with other phones in the 700 dollar range.

  • For what you are getting this phone is awesome. Im thinking about returning my v10 I just bought and getting this instead.

  • please look at it's price before complaining about not having a 2k screen when comparing with the likes of Google Pixel and LG V20

  • 1. SnapDragon 821 processor > SnapDragon 820- yes, they are the same MHz but, it is already a proven fact that the SnapDragon 821 is much better and faster 2. Quick Charge 3.0 > Dash Charge 3. 4070 Mah > 3000 mah battery 4. $100 rebate Wait for more reviews when it hits the market to see how it really performs but just based on those few specs I would not even give the One Plus 3 a second look. But as for the screen being 1080p, It's not even worth the extra $400 to get a what people are defining as "Flagship". Phone manufacturers are exploiting the fact that some people are just easily fooled. Thinking 2k makes any worthwhile difference over 1080p is just ridiculous. In some case, perhaps. But in some cases It's not even even subjective. Look online for side by side comparisons where 1080p screens actually look better than those 2k and even 4k screens. It's so frequent it is hard to believe people still think 1080p isn't as good. In so many side by side comparisons, there were some screens that were way better looking @ 1080p and even asking people which looked better, and then revealing the result, the 1080p screen was chosen as being more clear, better colors and more clarity. The smoke and mirrors in marketing can really fool people. There is much deception and marketing that makes people think that 2k means you are geting a better phone. The better priced phones with focus on the features that matter are SmartPhones for smart people. Those $700+ phones pushing 2k/4k are to appease those who can convince themself there really is a notable difference that matters. I'll take 2 Le Pro 3 phones over 1 so called Flagship @ $700+ any day

  • OpenGL ES 3.2 enabled by default, with SD821 :o

  • I'd like to know why this doesn't have a 2K screen...don't design a flagship if you're not gonna put in all flagship specs...with this being an 821 phone in Autumn, thus goes directly up against the Google Pixel and LG V20, what is the compelling argument to even order this phone against the OnePlus 3?

  • Already ordered 64gb version with 6 gb ram 12 hours screen on time, perfect daily runner to complement my (weekend-phone) Mi Max.Both phones for less than a S7 edge's price..

  • Nah, I'd rather buy Oneplus 3. I do need that headphone jack.

  • comparing the one plus 2016 this phone stands a quite a little ahead the hunger of power cant be pleased by one plus now the power does matter a lot .the one plus used its820 processor where els le pro use the next level processor just a but pickup in the field of processing capacity abd the battery is 1000mah plus well u know better than me

  • nice

  • Could be in the Le Max3, whenever it comes out. Still, pretty respectable specs for the price.

  • Like amoled but prefer lcd so tick Stereo speakers tick Over 4000 mah battery tick so this phone is passed my basic demands

  • At oppomart they say it has a sd card slot.

  • Where's the 8gb, 2k screen dual camera version gone? Was it just a false rumour?

  • one plus 3 is best

  • no removable battery: bad (can't replace, can't dry in case of water, can't force turn off) no audio jack (horrible) nanosim (you break the phone, hard to find another with nano to use while repairinf, needs an adapter). I will stay with my s5

  • LeEco Le Pro 3 specs need to be fixed: 6.0.1 MM android version in use on latest eUI 5.8 Gorilla Glass protection (3 or 4)

  • just ordered the phone to replace my Samsung Note 5. friend of mine has this Le Pro3, he told me it is a really good device. the phone is solid build (metal body) , the camera is very good, and the phone is so fast compared to Samsung note 5. LTE works very well in Australia, and the battery last long time. the LTE bands work in major countries as well. and the Antutu performance score is way better than many competitors. even much better than iPhone 6 plus

  • You will regret buying it. Its OS is crap.

  • No 3.5 mm jack and no sd card slot. Aside from that, great specs for the price can't be beat. I'm really debating if I should get this phone since my note 7 is not available anymore. But hey snapdragon 821, amazing!

  • Does it really support LTE band 20 (800mhz) ?

  • I want to buy this phone but it has no card slot. So i am give up to purchase..lenovo k6 pro is better thn this!

  • LeEco Le 2 pro or LeEco Le Pro 3 i am thinking of getting this phone

  • Thanks

  • Sony

  • Pls have been wanting to get a phone to use for a year plus but confused of choice to make as a geek pls can u help me thanks am from Nigeria/Africa 1.xiaomi mi5s 2.zuk z2 pro 3.samsung note 5 4.leeco pro 3 5.sony Xperia z5 premium

  • Superb

  • The phone has incredible specs.. Snapdragon 821 nfc 6gb Ram 64gb storage and LTE.. For only 300$ BEAST, I don't mind the 3.5 headphones jack. Wireless headphones will do.

  • where did you find that for 300$

  • WTF? Rooting has nothing to do with having a memory card slot or not.

  • But most sites refers that it has the LTE B20 band.

  • no lte b20 800mhz

  • no card slot means you don't have to root the phone

  • This is a good move. Le Max 2 sucks too much battery with its qhd screen. Le Pro 3 should immediately replace Le Max 2. Or another version of Le Max 2 with atleast 5000 mah battery should be out in the market. Phones with qhd screen should have at least 5000 mah battery.

  • Phone is very awesome but memory card not inserted this resion not like this phone

  • pls.launch LeEco pro 2 & 3 in india plssssssssss. LeEco company I am waiting & my group le eco all phone very good specifications. launch in india . india people is waiting quickly quickly quickly quickly quickly quickly quickly quickly

  • Good features, will beat every one.

  • Best phone ever.... I challenge even galaxy note 7 that this leeco le pro 3 will outrun it and also mi 5s / 5s plus......

  • Can someone confirm if it has Aptx or aptx ll codec for Bluetooth. Its predecessor has it, so I expect the same, although it is not mentioned in the specs. Maybe some translation from its Chinese website specs.

  • have it volte sport device ??

  • i will wait for ''THX'' version with snapdragon 920. Adreno 630 8000mha battery and 5.1 speakers !

  • Sad, why not uSD slot and 3.5mm jack? Is it too much to ask?

  • I can see any unboxing video on youtube about this phone...its not on sale yet ?

  • The feels when no headphone jack

  • Wow...big battery thin design. I love it. Dream comes true...

  • memory card soport why

  • I think that le pro 3 is better.

  • The phone is not even available yet how could you even buy one. The 1st flash sales will only available in 1 day 16hours+ more

  • OnePlus 3

  • Lenovo ZUK Z2 or LeEco Le Pro3 ??

  • What do you mean no North America band? From their official website it says the below bands supported. GSM is providing misleading info. FDD-LTE: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20 TDD-LTE:38/39/40/41

  • hahah no it's not

  • Type-c otg is support. ,Dmsearch for CNCT otg in amazon.in. it is supported in leeco

  • this is mindblowing

  • superb battery is it true, great processor, cdma 2000 and gsm fantastic was looking to buy the zte axon 7 but cant find it anyware and zte website can even aswer basic questions they keep playing games if they cant confirm whether the phone has cdma 2000 it has to be a shit phone i am going for the le eco le pro3 even though the name is weird but where can i buy it?is it available in dubai?

  • Now the only thing I find not so good about the phone is the name... LeEco Le Pro3 doesn't quite roll off like I'd expect, it's even kind of stressful to me and a has tendency to summon a little concentration to get it right.

  • Can somebody tell me if there is OTG found in Le eco 3 pro. That will be very helpful please to buy or not then. Thanks.

  • Does somebody tell me if there is any OTG found in Le eco 3 pro. That will be very helpful please to buy or not.

  • Yes .. and also, I would guess he missed seeing it was the company logo, also found on the back of the phone ;)

  • Huh? What is up with all the hate? Lack of 3.5mm, that I can understand but for other areas?? Camera is decent. 6GB Ram + SD821 is top notch. It also did not cut corners on storage: Fast UFS 2.0 storage, not eMMC. It has 4070mah battery unlike competitors. Supported LTE Band is B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20. And the price for 6/64 model is only $300.

  • Keeping up with news is my hobby. Seeing an otherwise perfect phone with one serious, gamebreaking flaw very sad.

  • really ugly and bad taste looking apparatus, looks like a 99.99 dollars cheap clone found in alleys or side walk peddler stuff, or are they giving themm for free when buying a 2 gb micro sd card? or what?

  • Again with those big black borders why are they not listening to customers?

  • LE the real flagship killer... Last processor... Big battery...cheap price...

  • worst phone ever seen . all are false ratings.. I saw gorrilla glass updated on LE1 S ECO but it is a BIG false to trap the customers. Hope this is useful

  • No headphone jack? Watepak.

  • you sir, need a hobby.......

  • The LeEco phones are useless if the have no add storage option, The 32GB version leaves very little space to add software. And the price difference to go to 64GB is obscene. Case in point the LeEco Max 2 goes from $250.00 for the 32GB and jumps to over $400.00 on the 64GB, that's a $150 to $200 for an added 32GB. Phones are getting way over priced and buyers need to say no to anything costing more than $250.00 dollars.

  • i hope it doesn't hav those cheap "plasticky" antenna panels on the back like those on the 1&2 series (you'll never know until you get your hands on one).

  • I hope it is not a lame chinese company that offers lame support (tech support, repairs, updates and so on...) because there is always a place where they do cut a lot in order to make money (excluding designs, since all chinese phones look about the same, OnePlus, LeEco, even Samsung and it's C series...)

  • I almost cried when I saw this phone had no headphone jack.

  • you didn't read the lack of 3.5 mm jack?

  • Respectable phone, the only downside (generally speaking ) is the lack of the SD card, even more than the QHD display. But good phone

  • SD slot card, fly 3.5mm jack headpe, fly Radio!? Saint Son of Apple ...

  • No surprise. No North American LTE Bands. Discriminate much?

  • Very good this phone

  • You mean home capacitive button...

  • When it compare with one plu3 it's price would be much more economical. So i m waiting for the device...

  • It's funny how companies (Not just LeFail) keep trolling us with "pro" models, where the only "pro" thing about a phone is its name. How can a "pro" phone have no sd card, no 3.5mm jack and no removable battery? What exactly makes it different than "lame".

  • avalaible in Indonesia?

  • More like copied from HTC. Interestingly this phone is cheaper than HTC Desire 10 w/ Mediatek P10. Typical dumping price from China.

  • funny homescreen logo..... as if someone is showing a broken middle finger

  • gd very nice

  • lte 800mhz band 20?

  • Design its a very nice copy of Huawei models. But this one have much more power :-) Horsepower of course.

  • In their cheap pricing they removed 2k amoled screen and ois.But good pricing $270 for 821 4gigs of ram and 32gigs of storage and 4070mah battery also.very fast lte speed 600 mbps and wifi speed 980mbps with 2*2 mimo tech.

  • Why most Android phones don't have 240fps with all that crazy ram and CPU or whatever

  • No expandable storage,no 3.5 mm jack..LeEco too uneconomical for me..

  • Omg, nice specs... When will LeEco build a 5''-5,1''' phone? They are all either big or massive and too big for my likings.

  • LOL, no card slot? Good luck.
