The design is overall superb. I'm impressed. It's apparently like expensive phone. Screen is HD as latest samsung galaxy. Buuutt.. The thing is it didn't have 4G and the battery is quite small (cap). *Sigh* Everything else is nice though.

it is one of my favourite Lenovo because its cheap and HD video n picture. nice gaming experience, even PSP game running smooth on it. powerful Processor and nice graphic rendering... Slim n easy to carry along everywhere. the REAL ISSUE is its Low Capasity Battery and overheat when play some 3D games. its Speaker easily broken according my fren and mine experience. whatsmore, it s memory card somehow LIMITED which i call it SUCK... the worse of all... Totalled battery coz u meed to be careful to swap its batttery if u not ur phone goes Blank forever

I baught it before 1.5 years, I changed motherboard 2 times, It gets very hot, can't even touch it. No memory card slot, less phone memory separation in the built in memory, which prohibits the installation of new apps, battery drains so fast. The top and bottom space in the panel can be reduced , so it will be easy to fit in the pocket. I like the slim rectangular design thats all

I bought it in 2013. I've been faced the same problem like y'all and my lcd was broke too. But i bring this device to the unofficial service center. Just like private service center. And they can make my phone works again as well. But they fix my broken lcd with not genuine spare part. So sometimes the lcd doesn't want to synchronized what i touch. It's not a big problem for me. But I'm so grateful cause i can see and use this phone after thatt problem for 2 years. Sorry if my english not fluent

i use this K 900 almost 2 year, but now the motherboard problem and need to replace. Cost almost RM 250. Battery quite worse because cannot be long when open data for the internet. i must bring power bank along day. But if not use the data, battery quite good. The major problem is motherboard, other wise is quite good compare with the other brand. Service Center should know this major problem and shut prepare the motherboard to replace if have any customer come to rebuild the K 900.

The motherboard became useless after a few months since i bought it. After 1 year and a month, it continues to discharge while charging, and because it was out warranty i have to pay for the battery. Before i can have the ordered battery the LCD became blurry and did not displayed correctly. Such a waste of money to buy LENOVO products.

Pros: 1. A beautiful and slim smart phone. It frequently amazed my friends, when they saw it in my pocket. 2. High performance Cons: 1. Low battery capacity, soo you have to bring power bank with you.. which is ridiculous 2. Invalid battery indicator, especially when you use another charger. Don't get surprised when it always show 100% after 4 hours of usage, then it suddenly went off. Recharging would take a few minutes to bring-up the phone. No patch for this issue, even from Lenovo. It happened with my relative's smartphone too. Lenovo K900 is meant for business people, but you don't want your important call is disconnected because of this flaw, do you? 3. Only a few system update, and after that no more system improvement. 4. Discontinued product in my country.

Never Ever Ever Ever buy any lenovo product...... I bought this crappy phone an year back and it is more frustration that fun...... It refuses to charge with lenovo provided charger but at times charges fine when connected to computer. You have to waste too much of time making it to charge. Some of the lucky folks mentioned that they could make it to work by disabling Lenovo Power App and using Battry doctor..... Well it worked for me for a couple of days and now my phone is completely dead and refuse to charge again...... Lenovo will pay deaf ears and I am sure will never fix the problem.. One day it got hanged and I sent it to service centre. They said the mother board is not working. Its a nonsensical phone. I don't recommend anyone to buy Lenovo K900, worst phone in my life as one of the expensive repair. Only after 14 months of operation the main board (as advised by Repair Center in Noida, India) crashed out and it would cost INR 14K to replace the board.

And then after 1 year (also less than 1 year) all of their phone was sudden death. The cost of repairing this phone is high AF, about 3,3 idr (about 230 US$). After that, we never buy a phone from lenovo. And then never face this problem again. I regret my decision buying lenovo product.

Same happened to my Lenovo K900, the phone just shut down and after visiting the service center they ask to replace the motherboard. All data lost and no way to recover it... looking at the comments, seems a lot of users facing same problem, however Lenovo team seem to be ignoring all these comments.. as they have a pathetic after sales service center and no way to counter this known issue... All that lenovo are concerned is sales of their products.... i am never going to buy lenovo again...

Never ever buy this phone. I bought this phone 1 year and 2 months back. After around 8 months, the phone started showing its real colours. It shut down and did not accept charge. Took it to the service center and they said that they need to replace the motherboard. It was within warranty period so they did it for free. The phone continued to work for 3-4 months but still it had many glitches. Last month, my phone completely shut down. Dead. Not accepting charge. So, I took it to the center once again. And again I heard the same thing, that the motherboard needs replacement. They said tge repairing cost would go higher than the price of the phone. So I did not get it repaired. All my photos, music everything has been lost. Never ever in your life buy this phone. it will make you feel helpless. It will even make you cry. Lenovo should burn in hell.

@dario, I had the same issue after I connected my phone to the computer or TV. After that, my phone stays too hot even if I am not using it, it also last for 1-2 hours. I was thinking of resetting the phone so I need to do the hard reset. After resetting the phone, it works fine and it no longer hot. I hope this will help your issue.

I bought this phone last June 2014. The camera is very nice but as a phone, its terrible. I'm aware about the signal problem we have in our residence but I was already in another city and there's still no signal which defeats the purpose of being a phone where you could be contacted. It operates on its own like open camera most of the time or flashlight, calls and texts beyond my knowledge. You'll notice that the camera is on because you'll just feel something heating in your pocket. I also experienced it functioning by itself while I'm holding it. I brought it to a service center and one look at it they told me that the touchscreen is defective. I'll be getting it in a few days but after the repair, I'll sell it for a throw-away price. Highly NOT advisable!

I buy k900 last year 2014 may. After using it for months it was really amazing, the design really looks so cool. The performance is good too but sometimes the phone doesn't charge and there was a time that it turns off on its own and cant open it, the good thing is at list after waiting a few minutes its back to normal and back to life, I thought it was broken or something, and the one that really annoys me is that it takes so much time to be fully charged. There was a time when I'm using it but then the screen doesn't work, it was suddenly all black. Then realize that the LCD got broken. It was good that it has a 1 yr warranty and get fixed without me paying anything. But above all that it was all good.

After using K900 for more than 1 year, here is my opinion on the phone: 1) battery life: LiPo 2500mah at the beginning is enough for 1 day, but after install so many social media apps (bbm, line, whatsapp, facebook, etc), I need to charge about 3 times a day. (4 times if you use it for games sometimes) 2) charging issue (weakness): had the experiences of not charging (reverse charging), but it is already fixed at local mobile service (the Lenovo warranty has already void at that time) and cost about USD 15. (in Indonesia), now not having problem anymore. My only wish list: 1) it needs bigger battery (maybe 3500mah), i don't mind the thickness to add 1mm (to 7.9mm) 2) Lenovo needs to address the memory manager (software) so that the internal memory (storage) can be increased to 6~8GB in 16GB model (or 12GB in 32GB model) 3) secondary/front camera to be wide angle (for selfie) Overall, K900 is still a cool and good looking phone with metal body (although generates heat when working hard)

k900 w/ stainless back panel * my personal unit from June 2014 to date and work like a charm. 2hrs COC straight gaming, yes, heats quickly but i have a leather casing so no problem & even it gets hot, the performance didn't change...consistent! xtremely fast..video & camera are all functional & doesnt give me any headaches...lastly, a very gorgeous phone...iPhone, Samsung designs? no match at all...hahaahah.. k900 w/ black body *model of my cousin from April 2014 to Dec 2014.. one day, when he charge it, no response at all...no lights etc even if they use my k900 charger.. till now, still at the service centre.. Conclusion: The phone w/ defects probably the black one & not those w/ stainless back panel... thank you... :-)

After reading only several pages, a few major problems on the K900 surfaced as posted by many users. What's Lenovo doing about them? NOTHING! I, too, had the overheating problem and the reverse charging, i.e. power decreases instead while charging. What I did was to let the phone drain totally. Wait several minutes to cool it down. After 10 minutes, connect charger. At 10%, power on, but do not use phone. Charge until full to 99-100%. Then, power off. Finally, power on, and observe. After a week or two, I haven't experience those problems anymore. To-date, my K900 behaves as expected. Thanks to Lenovo for doing nothing. We are all left to ourselves to solve our own problems with our dearly beloved K900 !

Over 1 year with this phone. At the early age, I am very very upset with battery. I had install Battery Doctor, I have no need to carry power bank anymore. Make sure to set you Battery Doctor to terminate unnecessary background apps. Done. The one more thing I dislike is camera is not good. In low light, performance like hell. I dropped this unit one pavement once, hit direct to corner, but amazingly it's safe. LCD is very crisp, fast charging..... Good touch screen.. Until this moment, it's never hang.... Hi Friends, I had an issue with its battery backup, Charging problam and Overheat, Last weak i reset my phone to factory reset and now i found that all my issues were resolved and i have battery backup of more than one day with out data pack and 18 hours when enabling data pack. Its been a year and this phone has been in the service centre more than I have used it. 1.Phone becomes dead during bluetooth transfer,goes for repair takes 25 days. Camera filled with dust on return. Got some other repaired phone with new IMEI. Shopkeepers cook up a fake story. Had to fight for a new IMEI acknowledgement. 2.Phone has black spots at the borders and display conks off, goes for repair takes 20 days more.Glass is half out of the chassis and shopkeeper lies a lot saying this is machine pressed n all sh@*...PARAGON STORES THANE.Never buy stuff from them. 3.Phone's touchscreen is completely malfunctional. Doesn't type when on a flat surface. Numerous touch issues. 4.Phone charges if its in mood.Charging is indicated but battery just drops. Doesn't charge at all and if at all it charges if it goes below 20% its a kiss of death. Phone goes for a slumber and wake up after 14 days. Again drops dead and now permanently dead. While I have used this device with utmost care and never dropped it, this phone has never dissappointed me with its software. It never hanged. But all this trouble just for using whatsapp and music and nothing else people. A headache bought for 27000 INR. Something about PARAGON STORES THANE - BIG CHEATS, FAKE PROMISES & ALL LIES AND EXCUSES EVEN IF YOUR PHONE IS UNDER WARRANTY.My display problem was labelled as a physical damage by these people. I Just don't wanna abuse them here. There are numerous people with same problem like mine...Please dont buy lenovo products,period. After every repair a new problem emerges. I bought Lenovo K900 with lots of expectations, but this is not upto the mark. No doubt, the look is very attractive, but this is not a phone which may be operated with single hand. Heating is another problem. The service centres are also not very cooperative. I got broken the outer glass of the screen and contacted HCL Infosys, Chandigarh for replacement of the same. They told that complete assembly (Outer Glass+Touch Digitizer+LCD) will be replaced, which will cost Rs.10,000+. Who will suggest to spend Rs.10K for replacement of screen only. This is worst experience I have ever faced with mobile phones. When searched on web, I found that only the Glass was also available, but who will fix it, obviously the Service Centre, who are not ready for that. I dont recommend this product. Furthermore, I complained to them that when I call to someone, always I got complaint that they are not hearing my voice clear. I also hear the voice very low in sound. When I explained to the service centre, they again told that to fix this problem, they will have to remove the Touch Assembly, and in this procedure, the assembly may be damaged. So I have to compromise with this product as it has given to me.

people... since it is a atom processor the heat up happens... this is not a laptop to release heat via a fan integration... try to use it with a case... even i feel not happy when using only the phone without the cover... really you can fry an egg... :)... but it is a good attempt for lenovo... may be they produce good products later... lets see... aluminium body is much thin... 6.9mm... that is the main reason for heat... just try for a hard case or original full cover for lenovo from ebay... please try that people who are facing over heating... since you bought the device we cant throw it... lets look for a solution...

Battery life is fine compared with Samsung... because we have plenty of apps to manage them... and huge process may cause to over heating... so cleaning apps will be the solution... once you buy a phone... get to know hoe to use it... Specially for India the direct sunlight on your phone will makes you very heat... I purchased a new K900 about 6 months back...My experience with the phone is from decent to excellant...The battery life is very decent considering full HD screen, an Intel Atom processor and a 2000mAH battery...Heating is not a big issue...Appearance is full metal finish and sharp edges (a must have for those who dont like Samsung's traditional plastic finish and round edges)...The only small complaint would be the lack of an updrage to KitKat (but Jelly Bean is pretty good ie. no performance issues so far)...Its for people who want a unique smart phone... Moreover guys, everyone have their own unique tastes...So just do what you feel right...Instead of simply blaming the brand!

I'll list them and you can take the final call if the cell phone is worth your money and time Positives ========= 1. Looks : The phone drew great attention from everyone, including my senior managers to the local security guard at work. The Lenovo Launcher and their customized Android platforms are really neat looking products. The display is crystal clear and sharp. I honestly still haven't seen a phone which looks better than the K900. 2. Value for Money : The specs are definitely great for the price they come for (24k 9 month ago). The other brand which offered all these features was a far 10k pricier. 3. Sturdy : This phone is built like a rock! The first time my phone hit the road from hip height and all I got was a small scratch on the metal. 4. Battery Life : Lenovo sure knows how to sustain battery life. If I use the phone normally (say whatsapp all day, listen to music and watch youtube for about an hour a day) the phone will still have about 20% remaining. 5. Service Centers : I can only speak about Mumbai here. My personal experience has been good. The staff is courteous and they deliver the repaired product on time. Why I had to go to a service center within 9 months of a purchase is explained in the "Negatives" Negatives ========= 1. Very Problematic : I had initially purchased this model online. However, the phone developed hardware and software problems and went dead within a month. The service center issued me a certificate and the online retailer refunded my money. I used that money to buy the same phone from a local dealer (hoping that Lenovo would have corrected this issue in a subsequent batch). The phone developed hardware and software problems within 8 months. The service center replaced the Mother Board and Chipset. However, I now began having altogether different hardware and software problems. Here is a list of the problems I faced --> Phone Overheating. 15 minutes of video and it feels like you are holding some molten metal piece --> It Takes 9 Hours to Charge the battery completely --> The phone doesn't connect to my computer through USB --> Inability of the rear camera to auto focus resulting in very blurry pictures. --> Sound jarring while using speakerphone (listening to music, conversation, etc) 2. Speakerphone : Even when they used to work well, I noticed that these aren't really high quality speakers. It is hard to make out what the person on the other side says even in a quiet environment like an A/c Car Interior. 3. Non-Removable Battery : I know a lot of people debate this, however my phone has hung twice or thrice in it's lifetime and the only remedy I had was to wait till the battery drained out. I don't claim to be technical guru, but this is just what I've found from common experience. Thi phone is awesome, i bought last July 23, 2014. Battery level is ok. i just downloaded the two update file from Lenovo. Jut click Settings-> about phone -> and tap System Updates. Download the system update and install them so that your worries with this phone will be gone. This phone is the best (camera, touchcreen, cpu, gpu,features, ram, rom), it just surpass the iphone 5. I played NFS most wanted and its lag frew, the sensors are excellent.

This phone is very bad in terms of software and built in features. After the recent update the KNOCK ON feature which turns on the screen after knocking the screen twice similar to LG G2 it doesn't respond anymore and now the SuperCamera doesn't work too. It just says "unable to detect camera" I only had this phone for a month and I already regret buy it. Shame on you LENOVO for not fixing the errors, bugs and whatever that's causing the K900 to malfunction. What a waste of money. Great built phone but very bad software support.

I want to purchase this phone but would like someone to confirm for me if Lenovo k900 still has battery failure issue 2014 manufactured. I.e battery can't charge at all or battery can't hold charge at all, discharges in less than one hour. I read in a certain forum that last year manufactured ones were the problematic ones. I'm using it since last October, battery I think is enough for an average user to last full day. Heating issues...... This phone has aluminum body, so whatever small the heat produced internally, it get transferred to cover instantly, so cooling rate also will be fast, when compared to plastic casing. I've played rail rush, other games, surely it does heatup, I never felt alarming heat, never played asphalt 7/8- heavy graphics games in my phone. On using camera heating occurred, but it never goes on increasing to "so hot " level. I think it can be reduced by cleaning background running apps by lenovo power software or cleaner apps, I'm doing so before opening camera clean the ram using power or cleaner app. Battery 2500, isn't enough to power a 5.5,fhd beast for a full day, for a heavy user, can be improved a lot by some measures, I've posted it one or two pages back. One thing you never get a fhd 5.5, with a very good camera, fast processor for this price, that's why I got this beast . Online prices less, but if you don't mind spending 40-50$/2500rs-4000rs more, you can check the device in an outlet, and be sure that no overheating or fast draining battery problems.

I believe it was my mistake to chose Lenovo K900. Its having very stipulated battery back up. Also now within 7 months, its motherboard is having issues and since one month, its with the authorized dealer. Now i am almost blank without my phone. I also work 9-18:00 and have little time to just peruse on my phone playing games, skyping etc. But what i will say is i dont have my settings on sync. locations are turned off, and when I know i'm not going to use my phone, i put it in emergency mode thats provided by lenovo power ver 2.7 i believe. (downloaded it from a link i got off xda forum) this allows for only calls and texts to come through. I don't believe in push notifications from data hogging apps. if I have the time to sit and chat, I will initiate, not the other way around I play games but not for hours on end. I'll play Machinarium on the train ride home (20 mins) while listening to music. I'll see a drop in battery life but nothing crazy substantial. I also charge my phone all the way and let it trickle charge until 100% and let it discharge all the way and i ONLY charge on AC adaptor. not usb. it will take forever to charge via usb. I baby the battery and it has been good to me. If i want to plow through it in 4-6 hours on a weekend then I guess i could. Not sure if this helps, i'm just a conservative user i suppose. Nothing, camera superb in video or photos, night mode very good for a mobile camera, you can view samples in google + under ajit Jose / ajith Jose, no one have never seen a phone so thin, if you buying it also order a clear transparent back cover that is very tough, strong, sturdy. Call clarity good, speaker volume bit low, headphones good.

Bro, please read the suggestion I've given in 12/06/2014 related to battery drain. Remember this is a full HD, 5.5inch screen not like that of note 2 or s3,and intel processor isn't power hungry it consumes 5-9% only during normal usage, check on lenovo power software .facebook, google+, radio, are the power consuming apps, if you're not using it much, try to disable it, and if needed, go to play store, search for facebook or google +, then the enable option will be shown, it's only take few seconds if you are on 3G, I'm going in this way, and idle power consumption also very much reduced. Try, and you will be convinced. To disable you have to download a cleaner, go into their app manager, you will see disable option. One thing don't activate ""kill tasks when screen off" it Will interfere with battery charge updation, and you will get wrong charge %.clear?

Battery problemcan be iimproved by 1, open lenovo power, tap on the Big 'S ' on the right upper area of the screen, then a page will be shown, activate screen lock optimization. 2,go to the lenovo power settings activate smart endurance. 3,adjust display brightness to auto through settings. 4.if you are using google+, facebook etc, they may take ram capacity from 80 mb - 190 mb sometimes, I have observed it and cause fast draining of battery, for that, there is lenovo power widget on one of home screen, use the '"brush " symbol to stop the ram using apps, will show the extended battery life on the lower part of screen. 5. Install a cleaner app( I'm using clean master ) and there will be option to disable apps that aren't needed to you, don't disable factory set, important apps. And compare the battery life I think it will make you wonder. 6 disable auto synchronization if you don't want it badly or extendt time period . 7. After using camera tap boost on the cleaner, it will be still running and may be using 120mb of the ram. Think it's clear to all

i have been using this phone for about a month. and it really satisfied me. i got a lo t of help from this place before. so i'll leave some of my opinion which made me dillema when i want to buy this phone. in term of battery it does get hot when u used it. but you know that because the phone is using a mettalic cover. when you compared it to the plastic-case phone, it's only a lil hotter. so don't be afraid cus it also get cool very fast. haha.. but if u are the one who's very sensitive of heat. i think you should go for the other phone. about the battery usage it is also on the average compared to the other phone. fyi i compared this with my brother's iphone 4s. but as you know this is just my opinion, people opinion may vary. so it all for u to decide.

I installed sony Walkman app and run that vs Google music play and use a nice pair of sony headphones. Equalization and volume are fantastic. I had one glitch where the phone didn't recognize the headphones were plugged in. I rebooted and haven't had the problem since. Ordered another phone off aliexpress when I saw it go on sale for 100 USd. Should be getting it in a few weeks. Also saw a video showing how to change the battery which looks simple as long as you are brave so I'll be ordering a backup battery and mini USB receiving port that I hear can face problems. By the way I unplugged my phone this morning at 630 am.. It's 21:00 and I have 30% left

The fact is, I used this phone for almost a month, the battery easily survived up to 15 hours of extensive use, no frizzing and glitching, overall I am very much satisfied. If you want to play heavy games on your phone, do not expect that your battery will last long, whatever your phone is.

I'm not sure which k900's you guys have been using, but I bought mine here in the Russian Federation for approx 280USD and it came preinstalled with google apps, yet not rooted. I rooted, removed the little bloatware including the lenovo launcher, replaced with a launcher of my choice..installed Setcpu and have my profiles set to save battery when phone is not in use. I dont understand this heat issue everyone is having. i play 3d games, use the camera and basically stress the CPU as i wish and my phone approaches "warm" but never hot. Never have I had to put the phone down because it was burning my hand. As far as battery life, yes, I wish it was more than 2500mah, but the phone is superbly thin and as big as it is already, I can't see it being any thicker without ruining the beauty of the phone. Battery life is also somewhat user dependent and if you have apps running, or are playing 3d games with brightness at a reasonable level, of course its going to drain. just carry a power bank if you're somewhere where charging isn't possible and problem solved. I opted for the 16gb model because i couldn't justify spending another 80 dollars for 16 more gigs of storage. Instead i spent 2.99 and bought a USB OTG cable and hook up my flash drive for files I need. My overall rating of this phone is an 7.8/10. I love the 2 ghz processor that can handle anything i throw at it. I face little bugs that may have to do more with the third party launcher I chose to use, rather than the phone itself. sometimes the wifi unexpectedly turns off, I'm not sure why.. it happens rarely, but i just flip the switch back on and don't face the issue again. the price of this phone justifies the purchase. 280 for a 2ghz intel atom processor with a 1080p screen, 2 gb ram and the aesthetic beauty? worth it.

I have recently purchased my K900. It has short battery life but lasted long enough for a day filled with benchmarking and downloading apps. I had my wifi turned on the whole day. About the heat problems, yes the phone heats up a little bit, considering its thickness and large processor.

Donno whether it is H/W or S/W problem... other than that screen never had problems every reviewers praised about the FHD screen quality.. P.S: even S4 had the same capacity battery as K900, it has little more standby time than K900 b'cas of Screen estate & type (5.5 vs 5" & LCD vs AMOLED).. maybe next S/W update surely fix battery related glitch.. consider Optimus G pro (5.5"FHD, IR blaster, LTE NFC, Bigger battery, S600 chipset) brighter community support & future updates...

I have one of the 32GB rooted phones bought Apr.2014 After letting it fully charge and turning off some of the background activity when it's not needed, the battery life seems really good. My other THL FHD 6.5 inch phone is about the same in charge requirements. This is the second K900 I've had as the first was not rooted and misrepresented by the seller. Don't download and install the firmware upgrade from Lenovo as it will leave your phone unusable if you don't know Chinese. I tried that with the 1st phone as the Lenovo notification claimed the upgrade would fix some bugs and performance issues. It may have, but none of it was in English after re-boot, so who knows if it was improved. Had to send it back. That one was 16GB. I now have all the Google services and apps available and love this phone so far. Also a good deal at $320 including DHL express shipping. Quick and elegant, and the Sony camera is super in low light. No flash needed.

Looks ubercool with next launcher NEtwork grasp is superb The only issues are battery drainage due to high display and large screen. But the stand by time, is awesome. Say you have 20% left and u want to conserve it for only phone calls, you can kill all other apps and use it only for phone calls and messaging and this mobile will last for a really long time. Stand by time is pretty cool. I once left my phone home for one day and came back to see that only 4% had drained. But with high usage it lasts somwhere between 9 - 12 hours. But its worth. A little heating problem because of the steel finish. But thats negligible.

I bought my lenovo k900 in the month of september last year. In the beginning, it worked perfectly well, giving an amazing performance. But by around January, the battery life considerably reduced and the phone charge would go off in 3 hours or so, even though i never over charged it. And soon, it stopped charging completely and went off. I then had to give it to the service station and got it back only after 2 weeks. After that it was ok, but the battery life was still low. Again, just yesterday, when i was using whatsapp on my phone, it just crashed and hasn't come on since. I have tried everything to turn it back on but nothing works. I would never recommend lenovo k900 to anyone. it is sad to see such a horrible performance from a phone.

sorry to say, from my opinion, you may just bought a non-original k900 phone. because commonnon- original phones will give problems as your statement. maybe it was built in other country. try check your phone IMEI code. hopes that you just not being cheated by the seller.

Hey guys, i read all most all comments related to K900 from the period 1st Sep 2013 till date. As, 32GB version of this model got released in Oct it seems in India. I realized most of people are talking about two major issues, which is battery backup and overheating issue. Other than these two, the remaining issues are somewhat unique and it could because of faulty/defective piece. I understand faster battery drainage is a common issue in case most of smartphone having great specifications like big and full HD display and processor. But I wish if atleast the battery last in day of normal use, then it will be pretty ok to manage with this device. Normal use i mean, call 2hrs, listening music for 1 hr, playing game for 1 hr, watching videos 1 hr and internet usage of 1hr per day. Overheating issue can be managed, as it may get cool down fast once the device will be in idle mode for few minutes. To the fact, though I have used many smartphones from Sony, Samsung, LG, Micromax, but this time planning to go for Lenovo, just to have a try for a new brand. But to be honest, I am very much impressive because of look and design of this sexy phone. The look of the device only made me think to go for it. Planning to go the orange colour of this 32GB device. Now the price of orange version also quite impressive in Flipkart and Snapdeal. Guys, anyone who has the orange version, could u pls comment on the overall performance of the product. I understand the colour of the phone, does not differentiate more on the performance, but still i would like to hear about this. I buy one too. Black version 16GB. I have it 2 days. I read much posts here so i want to say GSM-3G work well. Heating 30min game play not so hot just normal warm. Full Battery charge time 2-3 hours Battery life time normal 24% hours use 60% its normal for his size and other phones. No video calls ( you can use skype). No android update. Not much language support. If you have question ask and i will write later if something be wrong with this phone.

First thing you notice about this phone is its looks, and it looks beautiful. I recently bought a k900 at a very reasonable price and I guess I was very pleased with the elegant slab of aluminum... Until I turned it on.... I had unfortunately received a china spec model that lacked the standard array of google apps. The "Le"apps were terrible and I couldn't download any English games. I'm contemplating if I should root the phone... There actually is a heat problem, I had imagined that the comments regarding the heat to be exaggerated but nonononono they are real. After just a few minutes of browsing or gaming there is unbearable heat, it's not everywhere, just below the camera, above the logo. If you made a child touch it, you would be arrested for torturing children. The battery life is unimpressive, a normal day of usage is all you should expect (and by normal I mean stopping every time it gets hot, which equates to around 2-3 mins per every time you take it out). I guess the phone ain't all bad, it look stunning, the hardware is faaabulous the screen is crisp and bright, and the cameras produce some great shots particularly in lowlight conditions (after quite a bit of fidgeting) I also liked that the camera included features such as panorama and voice photos. Overall it isn't bad, it's just not for everyone. On a scale of 1-10 it's a 6, not recommended but worth a shot.

This is a GREAT phone, boo to the detractors this phone charges fast, lasts all day. Is very fast with the Dual Core (hyperthreaded) INTEL processor. it is faster than the snapdragon 800. The screen is fantastic with the full HD display, none of the phony "almost HD" 400dpi is the finest resolution out there. Lots of apps just scream fast. The size is just a bit big but it is rocking thin with only 162g for weight. speaker gets loud and the headphones are "OK" would have expected some "BEATS" but what the heck. OTA updates and looking for KITKAT soon. as for the heat, what do you expect with a screaming fast processor, plus the back is Stainless STEEL with gorilla glass front you can't get a better phone. Mine has a very very slow rate of battery charging. Needs the whole night to get to 100% and has t be completely switched off. And indeed it last only ca. 12 hour.. the headset is useless. You need to knock it twice hardly to get the screen open. I bought ca. One week ago n have had to bring it to the authorised service point..n again perhaps today for the battery. people said the service time is long. I SAW IN THE SERVICE POINT..A PHONE FROM LAST NOVEMBER. This morning whilst it said fully charged..suddenly it dropped and closed down. Indeed when I turned it on, the battery was only 74% left. I must bring my power bank whereever I go. Besides that annoying battery and headset, I like it.

The 16gb version is sold out in my region, and I have to pay extra $83 for 32gb version which is no deal for me. Common sense, with $83 I could buy maybe 8-10 32gb sd card, right? The design is great and it's Intel based dual core can even put quad core phones to shame. But one thing to consider is its battery life. With 5'5 inch full hd display, it should come with +3000mah battery, not just 2500mah. And the battery drains faster because of its aluminium casing which contributed overheating issue. To make a comparison, a rival phone which has the same 5'5 inch display, not full hd resolution, but has a 3100mah battery. So after a thought, I decided K900 is not worth buying. Your choice.

Viber, unable to open latest version.. i really love viber.. 2. The UI ,Drag and drop (Customize home tab thingy) is very irritating.. i had to press & hold the icon like 3-5 sec to drag.. if i drag the icon like i did on Xperia, it automatically swap to another tab.. if you're on bad luck, there a some lagging & the touchscreen doesnt not recognized much and slow to detect your finger back.. 3. It would be the best phone for me if the phone provide external memory & battery is removable 4. you have to set the equalizer yourself, the stock equalizer on music is too much distortion 5. NO LED INDICATOR OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG 6. The "double tab to on the phone features" not did a great job.. my phone was hot while in the pocket, i realize the phone turn on it self.. maybe because of the vibrate when i walking..so the solution, i turn off.. 7. the rear/main camera is not angled properly (hardware) .. its like the built quality is bad in terms of perfection looking 8.No hole for phone strap 9.Should put LTE/4G network 10.the camera quality like so grainy.. other than that, everything is good.. would rate this phone 8.5/10 *I didn't upgrade/update the firmware(So glad i didn't press okay when it ask to update bcoz i saw people didnt like it so much, battery drain prob & much more) Adroid ver : 4.2.1

Good phone, but the battery drain is very bad. You have to play a lot with widgets exploration to reduce the bd. For my its perfect size - not small, not too big. Colours are pretty good - but compared to S4/S4A/Note3 the black is just...common =). For that price I would recommend this product for sure.

I bought Lenovo K900 in the month of September, 2013. Look wise, perfect. 2500 MaH Battery is insufficient.I expect better better performance from 2gb RAM but little bit disappointed. Reception is poorer than any low budget phones. Been using lenovo k900 for a month. The phone really overheat and sometimes, when i plug in charger, it wont charge because of the heat. And yet, not suitable using flip case because it will trapped the heat and makes battery dry faster. The battery sucks and the heat sometimes can be used to make a fried eggs. Will send the phone back for warranty. I think the heat damaged and shorten the battery life.

I've used the Motorola Razr I and everything was fine but NFS that was a very little behind optimal fps! But there's an app that can change the resolution of the screen. It's NOM Resolution Changer. It's the best! If you feel some game (cause it's the only thing that may a little in this device) are a little slow (racing games) use it and adjust to the Moto X settings: 1280x720p. There's a template there in the app! And is free! And it's safe, I've used it with no problems in my Xperia ZL. I'm suggesting this so you can try and tell me if you've seen some slow performance in NFS, which may occur due to heat or loads of processes on the background. Please tell me about NFS performance and overall multitasking, is the switching between apps smooth? I have a trick to improve this to if you've seen the system closing too soon the apps you minimized. Ihave been using this Lenovo K900 for about one month and I have certainly experienced some of these points: 1) while holding the device for much time, its edges start poking..! 2) u gotta keep a battery bank otherwise u end up with a phone SWITCHED OFF..! 3) NO MICRO SD SLOT...!! 4) difficult to handle when kept in pocket. 5) when under the sun it starts heating up fast (science metal)...!! 6) works fast.. no slugging no scraches..!! 7) awesome gaming experience with superb sound.. hi hz, I already compare with my friends samsung mega 5'8 & make me sure that K900 still great and had the higher level than Mega with almost the same price. My opinion, when you buy samsung just for Note & S series, for another series you better find & buy another brand, because its not worth it for the price. For the batery, its everyone problem when you are a heavy user, thats why the market sell many power banks. Maybe you can try Lenovo P780 with 4000 mah batery, can use about 2 days for heavy user.

Before this, I already use xperia ACS,note 2, nexus 7 and iPhone 5, and now lenovo k900 . k900 is the best performance. I play real racing 3 with no stuck. But, k900 too hot after 20 minute. The battery of this device socks. It does not even last for one day. If you can manage with battery then it's an amazing device in terms of specification and hardware. I m using it from last 14 days and I found it very nice when I play games and watch movies. Yes, one more drawback it has, this device does not have micro SD card slot. I m using 16 gb version but now 32 gb version is also available.

It is a good phone. Battery life is bit short. If data connection is turned on it lasts for 6 7 hours. I would suggest you to buy Gionee Elife E6 or wait for Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.

How many of your RAM memory it takes? I have Lenovo k900 normally it takes more then 60% of the RAM memory even though cleaning the memory every time but couldnt saw it less then 60%, so finally i decided to remove some apps and now it is using like 50% with any apps running. I onlu have few apps installed in it. No games nothing only apps like Facebook. Viber....

Hi... I bought it last week... It slightly over heats... But other than that everything is fantastic... We may feel the heat coz of the back cover material.. The apps which i downloaded from play store works without any issue.. I have installed asphalt 8 and Fifa 14. Both the games works nicely without any lag. Pointed edges of a boxy phone are uncomfortable even in shirt pocket. Secondly, if I am dialing the phone or handing it over to a person lying in bed and the phone slipped from the hand and hit the face it is liable to cause some injury which a phone with round edges won't. So rounded corners it a must ! must ! This hazardous design should be banned !! I hope one day lenovo and sony realize this. I hope they take notice of this !!!

I bought this phone a coupld of days ago , and i am really impressed after going through phones all the way from Htc to samsung to micromax Lenovo has made a really great effort to bring this phone , I have charged the phone only once in the past 3 days , 1st Day : - took the phone out of the box ,,battery status showed 49 % updated the software on the phone after first boot , restarted the phone , imported all my contacts , installed all apps that i wanted , switched on face book messenger , whats app and weather , watched several videos on you tube of several minutes each . and the phone lasted more than 24 hours before running out of juice...:) please go for this phone , if you really talk about your money's worth , worth every single penny/rupee the phone lasted

It does heat up, sure, but not overheating or too hot to hold. For battery backup, use smart endurance, screen optimization in lenovo power, switch off auto rotation ,unless necessary there will be more heating, because metal like aluminum coducts heat faster than plastic . Whatever the case 2500mah is not enough should have been 3500mah, thickness may go to 7.9/8.5 mm, been better

I am using it more than 3 months, no overheating, I played rail rush, temple run 2 more than 30 min., no overheating.if u are a photographer it's for u, take great pics in low light, full HD video recording, amazing, when I show it to my friends, even owning a I phone 5,wonders,u have to learn to do the camera settings,. India-16GB model I bought this phone 3 months back from Shopclues.com. (DO NOT buy it from shopclues.com and their vendor MobileStore of Hyderabad, -terrible, terrible and terrible experience). Currently the phone is DOA(dead/bricked by itself). Lenevo and HCL approved the replacement by issuing DOA letter same day of reporting the issue. But the vendor I purchased from is taking more than 6 weeks to replace the phone because of their terrible-soon-will-close-down and dear-customer-I-dont-give-a-f kind of attitude and operational lethargy. Initially phone felt large in my hand and bit difficult to fit in my jeans pocket. Especially uncomfortable due to its formal-suit kind of sharp-edges design pocking in my body. Riding my motorcycle with this phone was close to impossible. The phone heats with more than 2/3 minutes of normal operations. I am NOT talking about games, but usual stuff. Sometime its just heats up for no good reason, when its stationary. And its no lite heat or something, fairly warm. The phone has fantastic performance. No doubt. Battery is just not enough to last a day with normal usage on 3G. With 2g/Edge, it almost manages to the bedtime. I took this phone to month long vacation to Malaysia and Thailand as my camera, GPS device and 3g Internet device. The batteries wouldnt last more than 4 hours. Camera is nice in daylight. Low light pictures, it does not replaces my 8MP Canon point-and-shoot. So, if you want great photos of your vacation in day time, this is not the one. Night time? Neh. The phone has everything you need, if it works. You will have to carry a power-bank with you all the time, as the battery is not predictable. Camera is fairly good for a cellphone's camera. Somehow this phone does not give me a feeling of good hardware because... well it's dead. SO, I am trying to get refund instead of replacement. But I would be ok getting even replacement as I dont have what it takes to fight with I-will-kill-you-indian-ecommerce companies like shopclues... and yeah the phone is not bad.

Don't buy this phone or any other Lenovo phone. Idiots think their responsibility is only to make and sell. Lenovo hasn't heard of a tiny little thing called updates. Still stuck with 4.2.1 and get this - idiots haven't released a source code -> so no custom roms for this device. Bought this phone instead of Note II for Intel's Clover trail+ processor. Never regretted buying a phone more. Some 'excellent' features of the phone: 1. Frequent call drops. 2. Poor sound quality - speakers are shitty. Can't put the phone in speaker mode during calls - won't be able to hear anything. 3. The custom Lenovo ROM is shitty - just google the reviews about the phone's software. 4. Removing the pen drive causes the internal SD card also to be removed. Needs a restart everytime.

Thanks for the summed up information. My ZL (stock 4.2.2) heats some too, and rather quickly while playing games. Looks like the update to 4.2 from 4.1 reduced this heating a bit. n.n Batery life is on the "normal" side: 9 hours on constant usage, display 10% brightness and 4.7 hours on. I plan to get a portable 10000 mAh (the bigger the better)charger anyway. So, looks like there's no major problem with this device. I'm thinking about getting the K900 again, since I've heard it'll finally be released in my country, Peru. Just would like to know if there's an oficial word from Lenovo about update to 4.4... They really, REALLY, NEED to update this device if they want to stay alive in this industry. - L. Pd: If you (anyone) understand benchmarks, here there's one of the most important ones, for the K900. This gives an score to the GPU (it's a gaming benckmark) and can tell how much future it has. 6900 for the K900 is very good. Anything above 4500 or 5000 is the minimum for 1080p, I'd say. Btw, the ZL scores a better (9700), all games I tried (NFS, Asphalt 8, etc) run with no problems. But they all could run better in all devices if Gameloft would do its job and polished the games... Mediocre Gameloft...

I fail to understand why so many people are still harping about Google Playstore? why can't they read so many posts on the subject and clear their cobwebs in mind? Yes this phone is fully functional android phone with all applications running from playstore from day one! Yes it has been launched in 32 GB version also. Heating is there which is common to all high end android phone running games for long period, it does not become so hot that you will burn your hand holding it. On certain handsets voice related problem or wifi related issues are reported, which is generally taken care of by service centre. HCL is providing service for Lenovo phones in India and their customer care people have become like Govt. Servants, not willing to serve at all. Overall a very good attempt at decent price so bear with small niggling issues in the beginning. This sums up Lenovo K900

it's a amazing phone with great feature in reasonable price, all the performance that i say is good, nice camera, but too bad overheated so much while playing game or doing doing other activities, and the camera auto focus is too long to take, didnt get the right moment while using auto focus. battery problem ? i guess that's always had in android phone, solved using a mobile charger. overall ok and good that's only my opinion while using k900, thankyou

I bought Lenovo K900 from Snapdeal.com and was delivered to me on 31 Oct, 2013. Phone is good but the thing which is worst in this phone is its battery. Battery took 10-15 Hrs for complete charge and discharges in 5-6 hrs if using internet or playing games. After 2-3 days I returned this product just because of its battery which drains in no time and takes hours for complete charge. Guys, if you invest 25K then you deserve a better battery backup which lags in this phone so I had to return it. Apart from battery life; the phone is awesome. Speed is great. Full HD videos are played without any lag or buffering. Phone gets heated a bit but cools down if left idle. I'll not recommend this phablet to anyone as we buy such products to use and if because of battery life you can not use it to fullest then better go for other brands. Also I and my friend ordered two K900. Above mentioned are problems in my phone and I'll now mention problems faced by my friend. Battery: phone takes 4-5 hours for complete charge and drains in 6-8 Hours after listening to music, video or playing games. Head phone jack not working: From second day the head phone jack of the phone was dead. It stopped detecting the earphone after inserting. We updated the OS and this problem vanished. After 1 day the same problem appeared again and the headphone jack was dead again. Result: He also returned the product. Now both of us are waiting for the refund but Snapdeal is taking a lot of time for that. 25K is not a less amount, Use your hard earn money wisely otherwise you can be the next victim like us.

i bought my k900 in china and it has 3g. go put 3g services or gprs on your simcard before you switch to data connect by sliding the screen from top to down, press the data connection switch, voila, you are connected by 3g. Remember, your mobile service providers must first put the 3g or gprs services on your simcard else it won't connect.i connect to the internet by 3g everywhere.

mouz, as in my comment this (lenove k900 with 32 GB) i purchased on diwali, earlier when i was finding and searching details about lenovo k900 i found everywhere about 16 GB only, but when i presently searched in different mobile shops and malls i finally understood that with latest festival season 32 GB version launched and then without hesistate i purchased this one. for your details information in setting storage i can see internal storage "total space" 4.68 GB and USB storage "total space" 24.39 GB other memory used for apps and others. so according to me this is not rumour this is fact.

i purchased this mobile on this diwali, after purchasing i used the mobile and the experience with lenovo k900 with 32 GB is wonderfull, amazing mobile i ever used.i would say this is one of the best mobile comparising with samsung,sony,nokia and other brands and all the features with very lower price. this opinion besed on two days experience, till the time i did not see any minus point, except blutooth connection. i unable to transfer mobile to mobile photo via blutooth i am going to ask lenovo person to solve the issue but i thing this problem is very small, and definetly going to be rectify very soon by lenovo. over all rating for this mobile i'll give 4.5 out of 5.

Guys...kindly review the new update in terms of any differences noticed. I can see that the Lenovo Power management tool has undergone some major changes where now u cannot control the apps that can be disabled and also processor speed. These features have been removed. BSNL (operator in India) SIM does not work with this phone. In my case, it just does not recognise the network when the cut-sim is put into the phone. The same micro-sim (cut with a sim cutter) works fine on other phones. This K900 works fine with other 3G networks here. So, problem is only with the BSNL network here.

Yeah Alex you should refrain from making comments and misleading others on the way k900 specs coz I own a k900...no memory card slot... It's a super phone and no lags and hangs. HD graphics is extremely excellent, audio is clear and crisp, processors are fast, just downloaded the upgrade today... price is cheap for this quality.. so go for it

I have been using the K900 since a month now. The phone has many problems which I wouldnt have expected in a Lenovo product: 1. Talking for more that 30 mins on Viber overheats the phone so much that you cannot hold it. Then it shuts down presumably due to overtemperature.This is where the Qualcomm processors score. My friend with whom I chat on Viber has a HTC one which does not heat up at all. 2. Phone dialler got corrupted twice. The stock dialler in the phone is not reliable. 3. Night photos are grainy and not of good quality. 4. Battery life not as good as Samsung note series. Under normal usage 2-3 charges a day are required. By Normal usage I mean about 10-15 call of 3 mins duration and 10 mins of email checking. In a nutshell you have better options than this phone.

Has been using this phone for about a month now. Would dry that it's simply amazing. It's looks have attracted many people from friends to relatives to strangers. What feels best is the quality of the device the premium feel, doesn't feel like cheap plastic, it's steel. Touch is just awesome do is the working speed and DOES NOT GET TOO HOT AS SOME PEOPLE MAY THOUGHT. I have played many game and browse the net for hours. Battery is fine. Speaker quality is just amazing, camera does a decent job at the back and at the front. Lenovo power management Is just awesome. Wi-Fi I'd strong and network caring ability is brilliant. just get it written frm the service centre that they are not able to gt u handset repaired... nd get it signed by the manager... then u approach the consumer fourm.... they will have 2 give u a new handset + compensation for u loss due to damage of handset nd the calls u made the travel xpenses as well as for the losses u had as to leave ur job and go 2 the service centre....

i am using this phone from September 2013. with in 5 working day , problem started 5 - 6 hrs backup , right upper corner of display is not fixed inside the case , can hear a caking voice when we press slightly on that portion, i complained to the service sender first they refuse to give a new phone after they gave me a new phone , but in first time in my life i saw a hand set newly packed have scratch on the display guard and lots of dust on rear guard (plastic screen guard) i dont think that it is a brand new phone, may be they fooled me with an old phone in new box (i hop so) brand new phone i opened from their office itself , i just press the upper right corner of the display , the same problem display is not fixed inside that case. they are calming that it must be manufacturing problem , they can't take it back , they cant pay back money, so i need to suffer this thing. what to do battery life is much better but this phone automatically shut down some times when we cut call . don't know what is happening.

both substandard product and service too....see my experence below..... I purchased a Lenovo smart phone in April, 2013. Within 2 months of the purchase the mobile phone developed defect and well within the warranty period of 1 year. Its screen started getting blurred to dead black. The mobile phone was deposited at Delhi service centre (just one service centre in whole of Delhi NCR working strictly as per govt timings ,, 10 to 5, mon to sat) for repair on June2013 which said that its motherboard has some problem and they do not have part. They have to get it from the company and within a week I will get my phone but for THREE months but they have not rectified the defect. Sometimes they say that the motherboard has to come from china ,blah, blah , blah��.also they did not not informed anything about the status nor even responded to mails and it was very difficult to reach them on phone(their customer care line for mobiles cost Rs 2 per min(for other products it is toll free) something that has never been seen till date) .mail written to even md were not responded ����. frustrated and with no other option left I finaaly had to bought a new handset

I suggest you to buy Sony Xperia SP. It's a very good smartphone at it's price and there will be a 4.3 update which will be coming in December 2013... I am too using this smartphone and this has really been an wonderful experience.. Battery Backup is very good and Power Management features are impressive... Camera is also good... Don't listen to other comments, I am using this mobile.Only Snapdragon Processors are getting 4.3 JB Update... So I recommend you to buy SONY XPERIA SP.. Dont buy Lenevo K900, it hangs so much.

I went to buy Note 2 and then this phone happened, I took it in my hands and first question I asked can you please put the battery and he updates sir battery is already there and irreplaceable. You can disable most of the apps without rooting. Disabling apps will stop them from running and their icon will disappear from the app drawer, but they will still take up some few megabytes of the storage. Go to Settings > Applications > All tab. Then tap on the app that you want to disable. Tap on "Disable" button. If you only found an "Uninstall updates" button, tap on it and wait for it to finish, after that you will find a disable button.

why do you need to root this phone. You have 2gb ram, 2gz processor. generally everyone roots the phone because they lack memory. if they root they can remove unwanted apps and speed the processor. without rooting you have memory and speed.

As gsmarena is an international site there are comments from users of all over the world and I have noticed that users of K900 from USA are not at all happy with the phone and the reason behind this are no google play, and many missing things that an android device should have as well as defective ones in the US market, so my suggestion to the people of India is not get influenced by the comment posted by the Americans and only go for reviews on Indian sites as the stock of k900 over here is not defective and is very different from the one that has been shipped to USA by Lenovo, in other words the Indian stock has very less complains of defective devices as well has all the things that an high end android piece should have.

camera is perfect like the s4 and get really good and bright pictures, the main disadvantage is the wifi problems, the battery back up of mine is perfect and the lcs work perfectly also after changing the rom it wont heat that much also i prefered it was 32gb but i can manage to use the 11gb of mine well.

Looks like you got serious problem dude, i have been using this phone since past 1 month, no issues whats so ever. I think you should also uninstall crappy apps that you don't really need. - I did that as a very first thing when i got this cell. Face book app - removed - can be logged in through browzer. Browzer chrome - removed - l like the default one. Other crappy apps - etc. you get my point.

Hi, It�s really a bad experience to own a Lenovo K900. 1) WIFI direct is not working. 2) Phone becomes hot like a burning coal even if I�m talking over the call. 3) Battery drains out as fast as planes take off, even if I�m try to make some changes in the setting. 4) Apps closes automatically 5) Recently came up with a problem screen goes off unable to operate the phone for almost an our. hey jainnu did you activated these sensors by going in settings or you are just trying to use them out of the box, please go in settings there will be three tabs, select the middle one which is for gesture settings and activate the sensor.

Hello Bharat bhayya,if you are not a brand lover or like the branding than the value of your money ,you can certainly buy this, otherwise look elsewhere. If u r buying this-please take care, if u buy it online, there is a chance of getting a faulty peace, so walk into nearby shop spend an hour with device,opening every apps., u must check camera, speaker, earpiece, battery drainage etc, etc. Then no issues,if you really decided to buy ,u r getting one that is carrying a value of 38000rs for 25000rs

I have a couple of guys who are in touch with most of the leading smartphone companies and PRs have leaked out a 32gb version of lenovo k900 is going to be launch in the october last week or november 1st week with a new version of firmware. And the updates for the 16gb model will be released via OTA in coming days after the launch. A new update for all. Lenovo is also launching lenovo vibe z with qualcomm snapdragon 800 2.26 ghz processor 2gb ram 5.5inch IPS+ HD display and the battery is gonna be around 3000-3300 mah. As i am using lenovo k900, i wont switch it to vibe z as intel dual is actually has 4 hyper threading cores and is faster interms of clock speed. The draw back is that itempties the battery soon. But a power bank is my saviour. So why switch to an ARM processor for more speed and less battery consumption for double the price when lenovo k900 is capable of playing heavy games and play 1080p videos. [email protected]

past 2 weeks i purchased k900 from a local vendor for 25K and i cant tell u this device is absolute brilliant.. dual core chipset is really very fast and ofcusr 2gb ram is more than enough,the look n feel of the phone is wat made me purchase this device,person next to u will definately ask about wat phone is this,all the apps n games run very smooth, yes due to its metal unremovable panel phone becomes very hot that it can burn ur fingers but this does not effect the processor, 13mp camera is very good in capturing images even in low light especially the macro mode i liked very much,the front camera is quite a wide angled camera which takes pretty gud captures ,display is very crystal clear u cant find even i pixel,it has 2250 mah battery which is sustainable for a whole day if u use a normal browsing,gaming n OS used.but the power app given by lenovo is the best app for battery management,  (well done lenovo,i think lenovo should donate this app to play store) the inbuilt memory of 16gb of which only 11.9gb is free for user,rest been used by OS,i think the only drawback,, rest all the features of the device are good in the price.value for money..njoy.. thanks lenovo

Hi guyz, I have been keeping track of this thread and i thought its my reponsibility to reply. Firstly lenovo is a very big company and comparing the smartphones of lenovo and other companies like samsung, htc, micromax, the build quality is very good. And secondly the price is way less than compared to other smartphone. Coming to the phone. I bought lenovo k900 in august and i am a develope. The special about the phone is the processor. Any day intel is way above than ARM cortex. The display is 1080p. Ram is 2gb. The software is little complicated but its better than samsung. I am not here to bitch about any company. Its just than as a consumer, i like spending money on whats worth. K900 is the second slimmest smartphone and logically its impossible to think that this phone packs big processor, 2500 mah battery in a metal shell. In the other hands samsung is just profiting bcoz of its good name. HtC is other company which produces good phones with good quality but the price is little high when compared to lenovo. As lenovo has come out with smartphones, it has done a pretty good job. Battery is a concern for me as well. I use a power bank though. I am desperately waiting for the update of android 4.2.1 to 4.3 version. I adore companies which gives value for money smartphones. Lenovo is one of them and the other would be micromax. And i would like to thank lenovo for producing k900 as it fits my specifications. The games play is good. The signal drop is because of the carrier. In india the carriers have to work on the signal strength. And i would recommend you to change you sim (not the number). Just the sim card because new simcards have wide band frequency and it helped me with the signal. Lenovo K900 is a single SIM, with no micro SD card slot. From a total of 16 GB only 10 GB are usable by user. Batery will last for a day or two, depending how you use it. Playing games will drain the batery in 3 hours, surfing internet in about 5 hours. Have a great display, and the best audio I ever found on modern phones, loud and clear. Body is a combination of non-magnetic stainless steel for back cover and polycarbonate for the rest of the body. Only cons are: - no micro SD card slot; - only 16 GB version (10 GB for user); - the device came with android JB 4.2.1 in box, and despite it has english language, most if not all of the applications are in chinese language. - the device is not google certified and you cant have oficial google play store instaled unless you root the device; - no international ROM version released to this date yet; - my device came out of the box with a minor "bug" the bezzel near top of the touchscreen was not aligned to the screen perfectly, but that issue is almost indetectable if your not a perfection freak like me; - I dont like the lenovo logo from the front of the device, I think is waaaay too big and ugly. - earphones that came with the device are very cheap and low quality; - no NFC, and no LTE; - even rooted and with google play store instaled, some apps and games from store are not compatible with this x86 architechture CPU. Despite the most of the cons I highly recomend this device, I love it and I just cant wait the day lenove will release an oficial internation ROM version for this device, and make it google play store certified.

frankly speaking some times the call quality is very good, but some times it is not, according to me call quality also depends upon the quality of the phone you are connected with and also upon the network condition at the place you are making or receiving a call, so when I am at my house the call quality is excellent but in my work place it is not good, so I am myself confused that whether it is due to bad call quality of K900 of due to network conditions, and also reading the review about bad call quality of the phone by some users can play with your mind.

Lenovo has made a great attempt to design this handset upto world standards as flagship instrument, but still there are lots of issues with the final outcome. There are quality issues, related to wifi, voice quality, battery back-up, no expansion slot. Overall a good begining towards a great device, but it will take few iterations before it actually overcomes all these glitches. Even handsfree function is not properly depicted on the device. Best of luck to Lenovo for all future updates and new handsets.

Hi mrinal i am using k900 for 2 weeks and its a great device with great camera if you want sony quality camera then bye this, also there are few more devices which are best under 25000 (online) that you can consider (huawei ascend mate, lg nexus 4, lg optimus g (remember not g pro which is very costly). check the specification as per your requirement and chose wisely.

I am using this phone since 2 weeks and must say it is a very good device and specially when I got it in just 23600 INR(new unused) as the device provide me user satisfaction of an 40000 INR device, for those people who are complening about the lags in it i must say yes it has that issue but it dose not matters if the device delivers what you want to do in it, also the games do lag in the begining but runs as smooth as water after a few while.
