  • Battery drains easily. I've selected for the app updates to be downloaded after my approval only but it keeps on installing updates without my consent. The firmware upgrade notification also keeps bugging me since day 1 of my purchase, well this one I need to approve. After 2 years of bugging me to upgrade, I finally gave in and boom - My call audio was lost, I cannot hear the other party and he cannot hear me as well. System keeps on hanging. I guess the name of the firmware update is "Time to buy new phone v1.1"

  • hi guys i use this mobile 1.5 years its hanged on and system ram taken from 1.2 u get only 800 mb only. use above 10 gb hang and some times key board not visible.

  • Well I have reading a lot of negative comments about the lollipop update for lenovo vibe x2 cu phones including these on this site also.. and I really don't know what you people are talking about, this phone works even better on this update, it flows, it's swift it's great,every single bug that I had on 4.4.2 is corrected + it looks better and it's just smarter OS than 4.4.2 ever was .. This phone is almost 4 years old and his 8 cpu cores are still recking newest games and aps.. I really don't know why so much negative feedback.. I just flashed my phone (it was cu now is ap ufter update) to 5.0 than i had 2 updates which previously didn't work on 4.4.2 , then I did factory reset and wola it works like a charm :)

  • have you tried factory resetting the phone it might help but be sure to backup your files

  • did you upgrade to lolipop version?ive read in some reviews that those are the bugs that can be resolved via reset of the phone hope it helps

First the camera (got it to a service), then Wi-Fi reception - again serviced and the latest is the bluetooth - bought a stereo handsfree, it connects an right after the phone's bluetooth goes mental :D Does not want to turn off - restart - does not want to turn on :D Definitely I wouldn't recommend it !!!

  • I've been using it for 1.5 years. Pictures taken by phone is clear & reliable. Almost limitless apps to install, mine 195 running and not hanging.. The only issue is battery life which is expected not to last long for i'ts only 2300mah..

  • Shame on Lenovo for releasing a cell like this! It was a PERFECT phone till Stupid Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade! Until that, the phone was working like clockwork. After the upgrade the phone was lagging, turned to completely garbage, not usable phone anymore. Also I could not root the phone that time. Plus recently the wifi stopped working. There are many, many bugs and problems with this phone which made my opinion that I completely stopped trust Lenovo and will not buy any product from this Chinese Garbage!

  • I have this phone for the last 2 years. Amazing, but it still working good. Only bad issue about it is battery, that some times did not show correct level, but it possible to fix it wit utility.   • Very good phone considering its price and capabilities. Good cameras, nice custom Lenovo UI, fast and reliable operation. As someone already said, it doesn't have Micro SD slot and EU version comes with one SIM slot, but that's not a big problem. It would be much better if Lenovo offered regular MTK 6595 SOC instead of downgraded 6595M or at least offered some software upgrade which would specifically unlock 6595M speeds considering CPU and GPU. Much bigger issue than all that is that Lenovo didn't offer an upgrade to Android 5.1.1, but only to 5.0 which is full of bugs.

  • The phone is good and pretty fast....It has enough memory. The camera is ok....The phone is relatively cheap....its first price was more than 450 euros....now we can afford it.

  • Well, I got an EU version of this smartphone and it does not score 49000 in Antutu 5.7. Usually it scores around 47000, highest 47865 and lowest 46272 on my device. It also appears that its CPU is nowhere near 2 GHz but 1.859 GHz. Lenovo UI is extremely limited and doesn't allow users to adjust or change important settings without rooting the device. That's a huge minus for Lenovo and for any advanced users who knows much more than just playing games or taking photos and uploading them to facebook.

  • @Shipra Such problems don't occur just like that. Seems that you messed up upgrade to Andriod 5.0, which is full of bugs, or you dropped your phone. Try factory reset after backing-up your data. Vibe X2 much better functions with stock android 4.4.2 Kit-Kat than with 5.0 Lollipop. I know that because I tested it with various roms and against various X2's competition which was all beaten considering the performance.

  • Very good phone. Good cameras, good build quality, superb design, pretty fast SOC and good battery life. It's faster than Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z3, LG G3 and Iphone 6. This phone scores above 49000 points in antutu 5.7.1, while competition scores between 42000-45000. Combine all that with 1/3 price of an Iphone 6 or Galaxy S5 and you have an excellent product. The only drawback is non-replaceable battery (although it can be replaced by removing few extra screws) and lack of additional micro SD card slot, but luckily 32GB memory is more than enough.

Everything excellent for 1 year except start a problem on early this year, my touch screen become crazy... it open apps, make a call, open camera, facebook etc for their own... I just look without any touching but the phone operate automatically like have ghost hand. I need to press power button to stop for temporary. Later it will hapeen again and again... Battery also have major issue here.. When it becomes 15% it will drain faster... 1% for 2 second until completely flat out.

  • Lenovo vibe is the worst phone ever and expensive compared to the same/better configuration smartphone in the market. As soon as it was delivered, bad battery issues (it would say sim not detected and show 100% and so on). Flipkart even replaced the phone, it was that new. I had great difficulties with this phone and I have to admit I was too lazy to get rid of the phone. It doesn't connect to laptop. Now Wifi also stopped working. Screen was replaced and doesn't work. Not worth the time and value for money. Lenovo you lost a customer forever since your service and product sucks big time.

  • I had the same! 96percent was showed for 3hours. First time it said: no sim card and then turned off immidiately. It was 50%. And then the battery was discharged..then i needed to charge it, and its bugged on 96%. But there is a solution. Let the battery discharge, And then charge it to 100%, without turning on the device. Unplug the carger when its on 100%.It worked for me

  • Was a great phone for about one year and 3 months, but now the wifi antenna malfunctioned. I tried everything factory reset, clearing the data cache partition, installing different ROMS, letting the battery discharge to 0 and recharging it, but with no results. Everything is still great about it, but without wifi I will have to replace it with something else.

  • I love this phone, I've been using to for over a year now and it's great! 1080p slow motion looks pretty good tho I can't find any info on it having the slow motion option.. .. I bought the CU version for 150 euros(last year!) and put the EU rom, phone works great, I'd say it's a great phone for someone who wants a powerfull phone but can't afford to spend a fortune on a smartphone

  • Do not buy this phone. I had my vibe x2 for 1 year, terrible decision to buy this phone. 1. At new phone condition, battery only last 3-4 hours of usage time from 100% until 0%. 2. At new phone condition, easily overheat on moderate usage (browsing or wathcing youtube). 3. After a couple of months, easily overheat itself on hot day even if you are not using it. 4. After few times of overheating, phone easily shutdown by itself and it cannot be turned on unless you plug it first with charger. 5. After shutdown by itself, battery indicator did not show the actual remaining battery. So, during usage, you might think you still have 60% of charge while actually the phone only have 10%. Therefore phone will automatically shutdown again when it reaches 0% charge and if you charge it, it will tell you it was already 0%. For the past 1 year, vibe x2 price has dropped to over 50% of it's original price during launch. Sign of not a really good phone.

  • Same problem with mine. Suddenly auto shutdown by itself especially during high usage. If you connect the charger it will always indicate 63% at 07:00 (phone time was reset). Try plug and unplug with charger, and turn it on. Don't use it until it cools down else it will auto shutdown again.

I visited the store where i bought my unit to buy battery spare but they said, they can't give me as there are no stocks.   • warning!!! do not update the android version to lollipop on the x2-ap model! i have just updated and my sims aren't working, cameras aren't working, speakers have low quality sound and overall lag in the ui! stay at kitkat until a official bugfix! i have already downgraded! note: this is not a bad phone, the lollipop update is bad. to downgrade, use spft with a rom from needrom.org. don not update to lollipop on the x2-ap model!!!

  • DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PHONE.... Technically it is a decent phone, But Lenovo have polluted it with adware, spyware, malware, bloatware. Any type of virus that exists it would seem. Apparently this is also something they have been doing with their laptops. Its ashamed you never come across these forums until you're trying to work out what is wrong with your device... I'm gonna try rooting it which I've never done before. So unless you understand rooting DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE OR BRAND

  • After one full year of using it, it still runs great. The battery is it's weak point and also because I've rooted it to clean all the garbage Lenovo put on it I still run Android 4.4. But in some benchmarks is quite impressive it scores 53.5K in Antutu, it does Kraken in 4500ms, and in Vellamo all of the times it scores above Note 4.

  • Well i dont know about the bad comments from others i feel sorry for them as i am not experiencing it in my vibe x2. The only issue i encounter is that after i update it to lolipop, 2gb ram is like nothing. It easily gets depleted and you can feel it when it lags a little bit. So i just clear the ramthen it is good again. Also the battery is damn too small. Octacore then 2300mah? Hmm not a good combination. But overall its a good phone and unique design.

  • Never buy lenovo phones, They might look good on paper with the specifications but they are cheap Chinese phone which doesn't last more than 6 months. They overheat and switch off intermittently. Their Service is pathetic and doesn't help with any issues. Never ever buy, if you buy you are for sure going to regret. I own Vibe X2 phone and having issues from the day I bought the phone. The screen will break on a slight fall. Heats up like a frying pan on stove while charging and on wifi with slight usage. Battery lasts for an hour after full charge. It started to intermittently shutdown after 6 months. Service Center refused to help and eventually had to buy another phone. 20K gone down the drain.

  • Hi guys, this vibe X2 mobiles is dual transducer mobile (dual active & dual standby). that means all the mobiles were with dual standby only, this mobile is dual active too. (usually in all the dual sim dual standby mobiles - when we are on call in sim 1, if any one calls to our sim 2 will get not reachable or switched off. BUT in vibe X2 we ll get the call to our sim 2 when we talking in sim 1. usually in dual sim mobiles only transducer will be there, at a time it ll connect the call to one sim only, SO THE BATTERY WILL DRAIN SOON IN THIS MOBILE. so we cant do anything. Gaming performances are very good in playing heavy ones like Modern Combat and Asphalt.... You can multitask smoothly with 0 lags.   • A very good smartphone. I've tested it on antutu benchmark today, 1st Jan 2016. It score 59075. Very good performance with affordable price. There's only 1 big disadvantage, battery capacity. 2300 mAh is small. I played my phone for 4-6 hours, then it need to recharge.

I.have done this factory reset many times. Fed with this Chinese piece. After restarting two three times your WiFi connects. But today I restarted around 15 times yet the WiFi not connected. Overall this phone performance went completely down. Never again lenovo.

The mobile data is a problem - dont know if it is the problem of device or the network - the same network works well in other device. Google maps hangs. Overall not at all a value for money. I am sure that Lenovo, a large prestigious company should do something about this and release the right (over the internet) up-grade for all their models, with chinese rom and international roms.

  • You must Tap Setting - About Phone - System Update, before update to Lollipop, X2 automatic first download system 25.6MB (automatic restart), and Tap Setting ... second download system 26,2 MB, (automatic restart). and Tap Setting ... 3rd Download Lollipop 1,1GB. i was try on my x2, its ok.

  • My battery get hanged and it wont show proper battery level. it will shut off when the battery dries off and gets back to normal when i continue the same process 3 4 times. Any suggestion pls

I bought this phone 2 months ago ,still there is no single problem.smartphone speed ,screen clarity(full hd 1080p) & graphics is awesome ,camera is the ultimate(better than samsung & sony 13 MP camera).This phone is very light in weight.After the lollipop update the phone had some problems ,But after another update which came before 2 weeks made the phone absolutely error free.   • Hey thanks! yeah I did try that. but it kept throwing back build updates of sm 12-13 mb all the time... but will try again.. Also, I wanted everyone to know that my experience with Lenovo customer care as well as their authorized service centre was quite pleasant. I got the screen replaced free of cost within 7-10 days and also the warranty information which was incorrectly displayed on Lenovo website (may be since I bought the phone online) was promptly corrected at my request within 24 Hours!!!! :) :D :D Now Im only hoping that there r sm good quality flip covers available for this phone!   • You can do factory reset on your phone which restore your phone to its factory settings which means to its build in Version of Android.But please make sure thag u do back up of all data before doing factory reset as this process will erase all your datas like photos, files , contact details etc.

  • This is really very best phone, looks great and performance is very snappy, noted too much to users a facing after update to lollipop, even I too faced, my camera stopped working, led stopped working while charging, in call volume was too low, but did a factory reset and that's all, now its back to normal good performance and very responsive. If you are updating to lollipop then surely do a factory reset if you face any problems.

  • Problem-Post upgrade to lollipop my sim cards were not detected. Solution-Firt I switched off the mobile then extracted the sim tray and positioned both of the Sims and inserted the tray back to the slot.then I did switch on the device and Sims were detected.hope this may help some of you.

  • Hey I was also facing the same problem when I updated to Android L today as far as Wi-Fi is concerned. I found out solution and now Wi-Fi works as smooth as butter. If u have McAfee mobile security, go to it and uncheck web Security means put it to off. or just entirely uninstall McAfee if possible since its default in vibe x2. install avg which is better one. after unchecking in McAfee at web security use ur Wi-Fi then see ur connection sustains and u can browse net. if problem persists please let me know.

  • I updated my Lenovo Vibe x2 to lolipop 5.0 via OTA update. everything looked fine at first. slowly i encountered problems. the device seemed slow. it was lagging while switching between apps. but, the biggest problem came next morning. when i connected to my home wifi, it showed connected. but unfortunately my phone was not able to communicate with the wifi router. even after getting wifi connected i was not able to access the internet. i also tried to connect with other wifi networks. i tried some troubleshooting methods like switching wifi off and on. Restarting the phone and even tried complete factory reset. but still could not find any solution. with no wifi my life has come to stand still. i am not at all happy with the new lolipop update. it is full of bugs. i request Lenovo to look into this matter and get this issue resolved at the earliest. do any one else is facing the same problem which i am facing. problems : wifi not working, poor performance, poor battery life. previous version of android on this device did not support otg supoort. i suppose that should have been fixed by now. i am totally disappointed with the new software update. Lenovo should roll out a new firmware update very soon removing all the bugs.

  • I"ve been searching reviews about this phone for 2 months. There are so many negative reviews about this phone, but yet I've decided to buy this phone because I love the shape of this phone. Now, I've been using this X2 for 2 weeks and there"s no problem like it said in all reviews so far. The X2 is fast, no lag at all for playing asphalt 8 and very smooth for watching movie from YouTube. Multi tasking is peace of cake with this phone. The only drawback is the battery which is only 2300 mAh, it forces me to charge it 2-3 times a day, but its not a a big issue since I have 7000 mAh power bank with me. I'm happy to have this phone, its really worth for money.

  • I am so disappointed with this model. after using for a few months problems start. First I cannot send out messages using my wifi . the service centre at Low Yat couldn't do anything as the lady there says she don't have wifi connections to find out the fault. I have to go to the shops outside to reset and all my phone book numbers and photos gone. After two days later the Bluetooth cant detect other phones around even if its just a few inches apart. I am very sad now as its a brand new phone.

  • does your phone experiencing any lag or slow performance? also check if your phone high sensitivity touch is on (settings>display) turn-off recommended. if not maybe you need to go to the nearest service center to check. or hope it will be fix on the next update (lollipop may 27 as mention by lenovo middle east)

  • Hi @kisauyku, well what can i say. I'm trying to fix it sinc the begining but stil no luck. And it is really strange because there are moments I am thinking its fixed and then I wake it up and its troubling me again. But what is more wird that there is almost non who writes about this issue.. Its really anoying to do double letters and always correct what you have wrote. Keywods: double touch, multi letter, typing issue, uncontrolable touch, The screen is laging time to time and basicaly my opinion is it is something to do with memory. I had disabled antivirus and bunch of uneeded stock apps and if I have about 50% available it works fine.. They say they are working on the issue and it might be fixed with next update.. But until then it is like to live with someone with schizofrenia! Good luck for all of you who want to buy it because it is a lotery..

Pros: -Design is awesome and unique -Very lightweight -Good hardware -Smooth Cons: -Bad audio output -Slow camera with average image quality. Focusing is extremely slow and inaccurate.   • Try updating your device. there are in total about 7 updates. If that doesnt resolve, try to identify the app that uses most of the battery. It may be wise to uninstall that app. If these two doesnt work, try contacting lenovo support

  • Hi, im having the same issue, but it quite surprice me there is not a lot people writing about this problem. It has started from the first moment i bought it and it took a lot of my time to figure out how to deal with it. I have to install app from google market Touch Calibrate. It helped a bit. Also i figured up it is always happening if im having only about 300 mb left in ram. So i recommend to keep eyes on memory. Also i cannot confirm the enthusiastic opinion of others about perfect performance without laging during scrolling.. It is laging and it is quite annouying... I fact it could too by my best friend without this bug!

  • Huawei Honor 6 has more memory and the micro SD is expandable. X2 has faster CPU. The reason I chose X2, it has the frequency to use 4G in U.S (not all, but some models). I like the shape better, but the thickness isn't a factor. X2 pro would perform better but I only need something with no more than 5 inches screen. Iphone 5 is another story.

  • Hi, i bought this phone after seeing benchmark test on Antutu. The phone seems well specced for what I need. The audio from the phone is great and headphone volume is very clear and bass good. The camera is also good similar to my Huawei Ascend P2. The front camera was a surprise and gives very good pics. The phone is quick. Bad points I found are: It seems to stutter when scrolling and sticks in the default Launcher and the Dodol launcher I use. The battery drains in about 6 hours of normal use! I do not play games etc my notofication bar is always clear and only have a calender widget running. It has antivirus which you cannot disable or turn off which means out of 2GB you have only around 700MB Ram. There is no NFC! which I don't particularly use but most phones have it. The messaging app is not like google, no pics or avatars for messages. when I did install one the antivirus constantly blocked sending sms! yes I know you can turn off notifications and allow the app but then what's the point in antivirus! the double clicking whilst typing is a pain double letters always show so constantly have to re type. Barclays bank app reports phone as rooted so cannot use for online banking even though its not rooted. In all I would not have bought the phone had I have known all this. I went from a £60 Doogee DG310 which ran everything fine to this £160 which suffers so many problems. P.S smartwatch GV18 constantly disconnects from this phone but works fine on Doogee!

  • just factory reset ur phone and then switch off the handset and charge it for 4 continous hrs without any inetruption, then switch it on and again charge till 100% (few secs). i did this to mine and now the battery stuck problem is resolved.

  • Mobile is good and light weight for normal use power will have 2days. Battery will drain 30% from 9AM - 9PM (calls, messages & etc), but 9PM - 9AM battery will drain 4%. On internet browsing through WIFI it uses 15% battery. No video websites tested review on battery. this is best mobile with minor problems.

Notes: Bought a Nilkin Black Hard Casing from GeekBuying.com and Tempered Glass from a local seller. Still looking for the Battery & JBL Speaker Xtensions. Upon purchased from the IT Show, I got a free Otter Casing which made the phone very bulky thus the need to purchase for Nilkin. Added about 10 SGD for an X-mini thumb-sized speaker and the total cost me about 450 SGD for the phone & accessories. This phone will last me for another 2 or more years :D

  • i have use this phone but i am very very very dissapointed. the 13mp camera is not as aspected. in sunny area, its good but in dark area, its become blur and if u snap pic using flash, the pic become yellow and blur. when you snap more than 2 times, the pic also become blur. The phone feel hot when you play games. The battery drain too fast and its not convenient for me. Its better buy other phone which more better than this phone. I love almost everything about it apart from lack of customisation and strange screen size that affects some apps....plus Chinese bloatware that bugs me slightly. But I really like the look of this Lenovo phone.....and fancied getting it because of the specs and price.....and thought it looked fantastic. But that tiny battery and reviews complaining of poor internet signal.....such a shame. It could be a case of early issue problems.... something that happens with even the big players. I will have to keep an eye on this I guess.....

  • I'm a Malaysian user: 1. There are different led color. 2. Battery life can be fixed by disabling certain Google services. The phone is fine, but not the stock software that comes with it. Also disable the location services through the very handy Lenovo security software. 3. The free phone cover doesn't fit properly. Nothing the reseller could do for me. 4. The screen protector felt off within a week or so, also very poor. My phone died on me within a month. After being helped by the horrible repair center I got a replacement phone. Lenovo, do something about your customer service. Now my second phone has a weird yellow spot on one side, no idea how, just popped up one day. Have to go back again to get my screen fixed. Overall a nice phone, very good Lenovo software that comes with it, but the customer service is very bad. Can learn something from Apple. My two Jiayu (3G and 5G) phones I bought before where much cheaper and after dropping several times still working better than this thing.

  • I have a samsung galaxy note 1 and was browsing on new phones in the market and lenovo vibe x2 was a eye catcher.I read a lot of reviews and then zeroed in on this lenovo vibe x2.I bought this phone through flipkart on 28-March-15.The packaging was excellent and attractive. But regret the decision of buying this phone now since there are lot of issues coming up lately. 1.The phone automatically unlocks when kept in pocket!! ( ironically this has got a sensor to prevent the phone from activating while in pocket). 2.The new feature to click a photo by tapping the home button without unlocking the screen dint work a couple of times.It gave a message cant connect to camera. 3.The same message appeared when i tried to open the camera after unlocking also. I had to reboot the phone to get the camera working Other than this the fone shows a good performance on gaming and the charging also is pretty fast. The multi layer design also is good.But due to the above issues i have started drifting on the hating side on this phone. I would not strongly recommend someone to buy this phone but definitely will not stop them from buying.

  • I've just received a vibe x2 as a present. This phones wi-fi connection is terrible. Probably this device has a broken wi-fi receiver. The phone is connecting with the router just if you're standing right next to the modem. 5 steps from there and the connections breaks.   • On several occasion the phone hanged. Cannot call out and cannot receive calls. I deleted all installed programs, and situation improved. But it still hanged though not so frequent. Battery also drains fast. Very disappointed.

  • Try Updating your phone's firmware to the latest. I had to update 5 times. I am not facing any of the problems you mentioned. I occasionally get the screen locked saying lockscreen failure.

  • Hi All, I have purchased Lenovo Vibe X2, within my first weak I have a several problem using this phone: 1. its gets locked down while in call and shows a notification of "Contact manger is not responding...." Then the display is becoming dark, you can not restart it, no functions is available. the only thing you can do is to wait until hours like 1 or 2 hrs, then it restart it self and become normal. 2. There is a voice like a call wait "Duut" but there is no call wait. 3.   • I purchased this mobile from flipkart. Signal strength is very weak. In some areas, there is completely no signal. But if we put the sim in some other mobile, then signal strength is almost 80%. But in vibe x2 no signal. Lenovo team has to work on it. I have spoken to flipkart regarding the return of this product and waiting for their feedback.

  • Hey guy's, I bought this phone because in canada we get all the brand names for the mist part, but I had a zenfone 5 one plus one and many more I'm always looking for something different, and I thought thevlenovo vibe x2 was the answer but this phone is too much money for what you get, mainly because of the OS is just garbage I thought lenovo was better than this but I'm so disappointed and this is why. - poor camera performance - ui crashes too often - either do full Chinese or English but both together is a joke -screen already has some burn out pixels is only a few weeks old. - sound when using the headphones is horrible. I think that the phone could have been an good phone but it appears that lenovo just doesn't care on trying hard enough. There is better phones out there for the same price I BBB would not recommend buy it, unless is half price.

  • Hi. Go to Settings>Network Mode and choose "WCDMA Only." The "E" indicates EDGE network which is 2G thats why your speed is super slow. "WCDMA Only" option forces your phone to obtain H+ which is advanced 3G. Hope thia helps. :)

  • Aftr you finish charging the phone or when u take the phone off the charger ...switch on the bluetooth for two secinds and then put it off.... It will help...i dont know how it helps but it does...go to lenovo power amd keeo the notification bar settings on... I have enabled the Data option on both the Sim cards (Airtel and Vodafone) but still not able to access google chrome or play store to download Whatsapp. Whenever i try launching the Play store its asking for Wifi connection and its not detecting any wifi connection.   • **for battery issue** so guys, i've been using and have facing same battery issue, that battery indicator not showing properly. based on my prediction the problem is on your "charger/AC adapter". so heres my tip. make your phone battery is empty. (i'm doing it by turned on games until phone is died) and then try to charge with another AC adapter [do not use your original AC adapter], in this case i'm charging with my laptop. try to charge about 10% and unplugged it, and give it try. i've been tried this method and worked. hope this method can help you guys. cheers.

  • USELESS CAMERA, BLOATWARE Got this phone as a impulse purchase last week. Loaded it, brought it to work and tested the camera. Found pictures to be hazy, took it out in the open and the same result. Compared the results shot to shot with the LG G2 (another 13MP) and the Samsung Galaxy S2. Negatives: 1. Images are not at all sharp, tried the default app and camera 360 with image stabilization .. no use. 2. Colors change depending on the angle you shoot the image, my carpet turned a bright pink from a deep maroon. 3. Zero Customer Service, they are blind to admit the flaws even after taking pictures on the spot to illustrate the defect. VERDICT: STAY AWAY FROM LENOVO

  • I've been using the X2 for several weeks now and this is my opinion: Design: superb design and great build quality, but be careful handling with the sim card tray Display: gorgeous 1080p, color reproduction is nice by the use of IPS, auto-brightness isn't really accurate, especially when you use it outdoor Performance: nice and smooth, the vibe ui is not too shabby after all, no lags or hiccups even for heavy games like Real Racing 3 Camera: the rear camera is not that great but quite decent for outdoor shots + has trouble focusing for macro shots. on the other hand, the 5mp front is very nice Battery Life: I would say the battery life is not okay, the screen on-time is quite low and don't expect it will hold up against heavy gaming Conclusion: even though the vibe x2 has some drawbacks, it delivers a smooth performance, decent display, and a gorgeous design, and yes, I would recommend buying the phone

  • This is my second post Do not buy this product. I found Vibe X2 is not meeting the specification mentioned. Poor 13mp rear camera not as good as the 5mp front camera.!! Head phone sound quality poor. Response to wifi/ network is sluggish. It takes couple of minutes to activate. I have raised a replacement request due to the screen going blank and responsive on 28 Nov after 10 days of use. Flipkart has promptly replied that it will settle the case by 30 Nov. Further extended to 02 Dec. How ever they have extended the date again to 04 Dec. It is sad to know the poor response and how can one repose faith in online purchases from FLIPKART. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE SUPPORT

  • Hey Guys this is my second post. This mobile has only 1GB RAM. where as Lenovo has claimed 2GB RAM. I always doubted why is always this around 300mb always free even though if I free the. Sure Kitkat is not that RAM hungry OS. To make sure I downloaded two tools from Play Store. 1)memory usage. 2)GWEM- Geekness wallpaper Ever M. The second tool directly Says that its 1GB RAM. Complicated security settings make it cumbersome to customize for each app Would have been better VFM had it been in the 15000 range. But still, not a bad buy.

  • I am having a small issue with it. I am not getting notification from WhatsApp and a couple of reminder apps that i use in spite of making the apps trusted in security settings..   • One BIG change i see after the S121 update. Now i can choose which SIM should have 4G network. earlier it was only showing SIM 1 for 4G/3G/2G. Now I am able to select if i want SIM2 to be primary for 4G. This is good for me as my Airtel SIM was a Nano SIM. Now I can use 4G on it. High speed internet... here I come

  • very Good phone. Used 2 weeks. No problem Only issue with camera, not that great to take group photo etc. If you take smaller distance pics it will be very good. Camera has lot modes features etc. Also has HD mode. After firmware upgrade now its better.( for me cam is not of that important) Other features are excellent. very good graphical interface many theme etc Performance is also good. Can open multiple application without any prob battery is also fine(although technically less). there is power saving mode to save battery. lot of feature to save battery very less weight, nice design very good phone for professionals I recommend it

  • I got this mobile 4 days ago. this phone performs good. but the UI sucks. I installed Nova launcher. The first piece which I received had a network problem. So flipkart gave me replacement. It looks like there is piece to piece variations. The previous showed benchmark of 49000. whereas the replacement piece is not shooting above 44000. the phone is very light. Network(below average): network is not all that good. it�s much lesser than my any other old phone I used. Wifi(excellent): wifi is amazingly good. it covers long range than usual phones. battery: battery is a big pain.it lasts for 15 hrs. on average. keep in mind the battery life is number of recharge cycles. so let�s say for example this battery has life of 365 charges. Then the battery will last only half a year. Whereas if the battery lasted for 2 days the same battery life would serve you for 2 years. More over its not replaceable. Camera(fair): The camera is ok. The problem is with the software used to shoot. It focuses one time and later just shoots. Human hands cannot be stable so we need a software that adjust focus when it receives command to shoot. I tried open camera software it works well. UI(ok kinda): I personally hate the UI. So I used Nova launcher. Audio quality(too bad): external speakers are ok and serve the purpose. Headphone audio is really bad. getting a new better quality headphones helps to some extent. I would recommend you to go for Bluetooth headphones of good quality. Heating(fair): this phone does heat. But not too much. Weight(good job): yes the phone is very light. Last word: wondering what�s good with this phone apart from processor performance.

  • go in settings and then network and wireleesss settings. and select mobile networks and go in access point network. and select a proper internet options...the option u have selected is a wap option and not a proper internet option and so u r having this problem. try the above procedure and ur watsapp and other apps will just work fine.

  • Hey Guys, I had read almost all reviews about the phone before buying it and was very hopeful of the product that i was buying. Unfortunately the phone worked well for about 2-3 days and then started to show signs of immense decay. i have taken time out to write a detailed review as i felt this should go on public domain as a new phone should not fail on so many counts. My father is using a lenovo and is very satisfied (mind it he bought from a regular brick and mortar shop) 1. could not receive calls, all i could do is hear the phone ringing at times 2. after switching on the internet the phone jsut stops to respond 3. has stopped taking charging from electrical point, only charges when connected to a laptop 4. battery gets heated 5. power button does not respond at times on its own If there would have been a negative rating for the product and Flipkart service. would have done so. Flipkart Staff had called me after i requested for a return though they said it would need another call from the manager, who has not bothered to call, When raised with the customer service again, they have given me a date of 25th Nov 2:30 pm for this issue to get resolved and nothing more with no details shared on what's happening on their side. Sometimes it makes me wonder, is it because of online nature of business that these issues crop up more regularly.

  • This is my 2nd review post. I have to revise some of the remarks that I have mentioned in my earlier post. The performance is better now after disabling some of the software's. The memory has also improved now, it is showing somewhere between 500MB to 800MB free RAM space. Overall this one seems to be a better phone than I thought. I would recommend for it.

  • SD Wifi can be activated in Setting > System > Wifi. As like any smartphone click on the AP and enter security details (if any) and you should be good to go.
