Lenovo ZUK Edge - User Reviews

  • I really hope Samsung sues Lenovo for the name

  • 78% aspect ratio and it should be 18/17:9 aspect

  • This is a rare beauty, feel privileged to have used it. Great looks, great performance and a great price. Absolute masterclass form Lenovo. Though it's really sad to know we won't be seeing any more of these but hats off to Lenovo for this one. :)

  • this ZUK lineup had future, why they stopped it. :( the only 2016 phone beats 2017 designs.

  • Same here looking to upgrade the phone as well

  • Still using it every day. This is the only small bezel phone without compromises. No awkward curved edges, no on-screen nav buttons, no weird aspect ratio that shrinks videos, no front camera on the bottom bezel, no inferior earpiece hardware, not too big for one hand... Just a classic design shrunk to as small as possible size.

  • well to bad Lenovo stop the ZUK otherwise this can be a good choice for its price

  • download local working radio app.

  • With the price $360 it's a worthed phone to buy Amazing design, great speed and stunning FHD display Battery are better than S8, almost 2days used Kamera good enough especially at outdoor Overall maybe 8/10

  • Bought one unit with 4 GB RAM. There is no FM Radio. I checked their China website. Nothing mentioned about the FM Radio.

  • Build quality better than iPhone, samsung and LG (this 3 battery easy get bigger and and push screen out). Camera still under quality those 3, choice are yours

  • Zuk company already stop make this product

  • Camera is a weak point, don't expect too much of it.

  • How about the camera, is the camera good is photo for projector at night?

  • Very few people realize how special this device is. There are other phones out there that match or exceed its screen to body ratio, but all of them have major disadvantages. - it's uncommon to find devices with StB ratios this high with a 5.5 inch screen size; most of them have larger screens, which makes the bezel shrinkage irrelevant because you still need two hands to operate them - most other phones with high StB ratios have on-screen navigation buttons, which take up more space than you gained from the bezel shrinkage - a lot of the more recent high StB phones have a weird aspect ratio that causes black bars to appear when watching videos and the aspect ratio is generally more awkward than the 9:16 standard - its available at a very low price compared to pretty much all alternatives with high StB ratios - it has a fingerprint scanner on the front of the device; something Samsung and Apple are struggling and failing to get done these days It's unfortunate that the ZUK brand gets rolled up after delivering this unique creation. I'm kinda hoping that other brands will reverse-engineer this thing and learn ZUK's tricks, but this phone is too obscure to make that very likely. Let's hope at least Lenovo keeps this technology alive and shares it with whatever replaces ZUK as its in-house mobile brand.

  • Yes it did have volte.

  • Is it phone have volte option or not please tell me?

  • the redmi note 4 supports us LTE bands, and another good phone is the LeEco LE 2 x527 which has all the us LTE bands.

  • Thanks:-)

  • Buy her the Pro instead of the Edge; the camera hardware's much better. The ZUKs all have a similar Chinese/English ROM.

  • Simply......the characteristics of this phone is great......but tell me simple thing when it is going to be launched in india

  • Does ZUI include the google DRM ''widevine'' ?? Does anybody know that ? Thank you

  • How about this phones camera's compared to the mi5s/mi5? Specially front camera, because I'm hoping to buy one for my sister. Also is the rom a global version rom?

  • ZUK has already stopped producing devices with TCL so there might be a possibility that they will not do a rollout for nougat for all ZUK devices...

  • I bought this handset last april,4Gb Ram/64Gb internal storage.Good display, battery life is excellent, big screen with small body housing and the speed is excellent. One thing I noticed is it is MARSHMALLOW and there is no option to update to NOUGAT 7.0 or 7.1.Anybody can help please. Thanks

  • I know, but why it is not available in stores? Or did they recall all stocks? Thank you

  • looking at online shop

  • Where do I find this device, I have extensively searched in Kolkata, Dhaka,Kualalampur but no one has it ?

  • Does it really support QC3.0? It is not listed here: Cheers

  • What in the name is TDDI. I have never heard a screen like that

  • GSMArena - why no battery life test for the Zuk Edge or the Zuk Z2 or the Zuk Z2 pro? You have one for the first Zuk - the Zuk 1, why not the more recent ones??

  • The selling point for this zuk edge is just its high screen body ratio only. Feature & price wise zuk 2 pro is much better. 6+128gb Zuk Z2 Pro ~ 1999 RMB 6+64gb Zuk Edge ~ 2499 RMB

  • What you need to realize is that we didn't find our money on the street.

  • Hahaha good one.

  • G-sus ? I don't know what language that is but he has the right to express his opinion which I agree with.

  • nice phone

  • Brought one of these phones today and no key pad. i tried logging into wi fi but key pad not coming up

  • would you like some Fries in your order? want some chicken? come on dude, grow up this is not Ronald McDonalds nor Santa Clauss G-sus, this people aint gonna see your post anyway

  • troll hahaha

  • Hahahaha.. Good one bro..

  • Great specs... You should build your own phone company

  • Screen should 5.7 to 6.0, thick 8mm, amoled fhd acreen, lenovo should improve camera like g4plus, honor 6x,camera 16/8, with 1.9", front flash, dual speaker, quick charge 3.0,wish same battery as p2,but anything aroun 4000mah is ok, snapdragon 65x+ 0r 82x, 3/32gb,@ 18k,4/32gb @ 20k, 6/64gb @24k without hybrid sim, then it best ....lenovo all model are over price few months later they price cut then should priced like mi,honor,moto...

  • What about in call voice quality which is the main required feature of any phone. Whether it has built in call recorder ? Pls do comment. Also comment upon the scheduled power on/off feature.

  • is it available from iraq the black one ?

  • Where can i buy this phone. Is it available in India?

  • This smartphone have great desing! this smartphone with same desing have to contained the new chipset Snapdragon 835 and and OLED LTPS scren display, old desing new chipset, and small price amazing smartphone to selling for 2017

  • What about in call voice quality which is the main required feature of any phone. Whether it has built in call recorder ? Pls do comment.

  • its on the coverage itself since other brand of phones have a better coverage on that area , indeed the place have a 4G signal,

  • might be its on your area.. not on the coverage.

  • A good Phone , but indeed expensive, hard to get better coverage , increase your network coverage please. `

  • 86.4% screen-to-body ratio

  • such a good phone.

  • I looked into them and redmi line as well. Unfortunately they don't work well here at the USA. Poor 4G lte. Our companies don't support the bands the phone uses.

  • I suggested you to check Xiaomi Mi5 or Mi5s, maybe that is what you're wishing

  • What people don't seem to understand is that phone manufacturers make phones for the AVERAGE user. Average users don't need a lot of storage.

  • Good phone

  • Disappointed in the Zuk brand. Z1 was amazing for its time. 4100mAh battery, with a SD801 AC binned. Hitting 10hours SOT was not a problem. Z2 onward has been underwhelming aside from the slightly more attractive designs. Losing official Cyanogenmod (no care about COS) support on the newer devices is the last straw for me.

  • 5.5" diagonal.

  • this phone is best in his price you can buy this phone if your best gamer or you will able to use all fun of this phone .but if your mutli tasker or company empoly this not for u .excepted battery the phone is really good

  • Was very keen to buy ,but seeing the battery limitations had to opt for p2, what do a good processor will do if juice is not readily available.as anyways for calls we don't need 4gb ram and 821 sd.

  • I was really looking forward to buying until they announced battery capacity then I was completely turned off. I'm now considering Smartisan M1L

  • It is possible but I think it 143.... Some thing new definitely better :)

  • Not going for higher capacity battery is indeed a mistake in my opinion. Flagship hardware and better features lure the users to keep using the device more frequently which calls for a longer battery life.

  • Good phone but no 5000mah battery . smart phone trend are same like old day notebook. bring the adapter(charger) along until 1 day ultrabook arrive start have a choice to go for 8 hours without adapter.

  • Not a mistake. They did some great innovations. Most phone companies are noticing that the demand for higher screen to body ratio is better. As well as flagship hardware. Wish they did the same ratio for 5 inch screens as I prefer compact phones.

  • There is a mistake, it can't have a 5.5 inch display and only measure 142 cm in length.

  • 1/4" sensor, buy if u don't want to take good pics

  • 25th Jan, 2017.

  • Any idea about India launching date

  • NFC is not on this phone for sure but I'm not so sure about OIS

  • Do Lenovo phones lack NFC and OIS

  • Battery could be better & the camera not flagship grade at all

  • when will launch ?

  • best ever phone. I loved it .keep doing good job .

  • What do you mean as ratio. What are you trying to say. I do research. For the height of this phone, it is pretty wide. Relative to other phone dimensions. It is normal in thickness.

  • Have you notice iphone 7 ratio? Research first

  • Zuk Z2 plus available in India. Its pure stock Android icons

  • This phone looks cool.. No more similar looking iphone clones from china..

  • This is probably one of the best by lenovo.i thought they gonna use moto name next year?

  • Dearest factwriting followers.Though,it is the best Lenovo up to noe,buy we have some missing too for a flagship!!?Not seeing NFC and infrared, using incomplete dated Bluetooth 4.1,no dlna,no at least 4000 mah battery,no memory card slot but FHD !!!?Of course, using USB V.1 without otg mentioning is an advantage!!!Good for those whom like this Chinese brand!!Of course, gsmArena review proves that I am right or not!!!Thanks all.Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar,....

  • yep, flagship of 2015/16 with 2017 processor. but look at the size and screen to body ratio. so lets give the flagship s*!t a break and acknowledge for what the phone is. These companies are making what we consumers are really in need of at an amazing price. Not looting its costumers for their brand name.

  • Every thing is fine. It is thin enough. This phone is wider than many out there too. But it isn't a flagship for 2017. Maybe for 2015/2016.

  • I agree, however the battery size is a bit small for me and the camera specs are not as good as I hoped. It could help also if it was a bit thinner. But besides that this phone, spec and size is really decent. Almost flagship status, well at least for a 2017 phone.

  • How many phones are there, the Screen/body ratio is over %78 ? You want Bigger battery, and thinner phone, minimal body with the biggest screen? Doyou know what are you expecting?

  • lenovo p2 used 5.5 fhd superamoled and 5000+ battery but this model used 5.5 fhd IPS and below 4000 battery.Why?....And lenovo very like used old and low spec camera.

  • Where is the EDGE display

  • 5.5 inch ...battery minimal 3500 mAh......battery is very important when use handphone outdoor daily

  • Nice design, it's shorter than most 5.2" phones and even many 5" phones! I hope this trend catches on.

  • No doubt about it. I'm thinking about picking one of these up, but you can bet money that I will be buying Nova for it.

  • I really hope this phone is Google daydream compatible. I don't have enough money for a Google pixel, Huawei mate 9 pro or Moto z, and unfortunately the OnePlus 3t won't be compatible as OnePlus stated. So if this phone can have an AMOLED screen, it would be safe to say that this phone is daydream compatible. Lenovo, don't mess up, please!

  • On the outside it's really appealing, but then you look at the screen and see that horrible icons and android skin. Of course it's not going to be a phone to remember and I bet that many western buyers put a 3rd party launcher on it.

  • Lenovo should make Vibe Z3 and Vibe X4, instead of these ZUK rane smartphones.. Lenovo vibe z, z2 pro, x3 were killer smartphone.. These ZUKs are not at all attractive..

  • Just in marketing .. Otherwise its nowhere near ZUK EDGE Its only for 360 dollars .. WOAHHH!

  • killer pricing .. hands down lenovo Op3T watch out!

  • Nope

  • Features look decent, but for the "ZUK".

  • OnePlus 3T is still winner.

  • camera could be better

  • Perfecto !!!!!

  • Card slot, blinking! Really why!?

  • battery sucks because the processors are very large 2X2.35 means double capable but we cannot use with in 3 hours in 4g online and ram also if 6 gb of ram atleast battery will be minimum 4000+

  • batter sucks because the processors are very large 2X2.35 means double capable but we cannot use with in 3 hours in 4g online and ram also if 6 gb of ram atleast battery will be minimum 4000+

  • only 3000 mAH battery

  • why 13mp ? why not 16mp where is dolby atmos. only 3000 mAH battery ? zuk edge nougat only os updated. hardware ??? last card slot is missing

  • dolby sound....?

  • its just rumured.. its not yet finish

  • Hi Guys if this mobile has hybrid sim slots for using SD card means it will be really good lets see what is going to happening
