SIM used on this device is mini SIM. I guess you are talking about micro/nano SIM. Standard SIM would be mini SIM, but back in late 90s and Early 2000, SIM card used was just "SIM" card, which is size of a credit card. That's why they are calling mini SIM for the size of SIM card used on this device.

For all those people who still own the LG C900 and have been facing with various kinds of issues except batter I highly recommend you all to Coldboot the device and try using it. Cold Boot How? Simultaneously press the camera button, Volume + and - and the power button hold it until you see the Cold Boot show up on the screen then release the power button and keep holding on (pressing) the Camera and volume + & - until you see the screen show Cold boot and the LG Logo reappear with the welcome screen. I've been having issues myself with the device so, after 1 unsuccessful cold boot I gave up, after looking up on google and searching around I noticed that the cold boot done was incorrect by me, I tried again and Viola! I started working no more hiccups etc..,

Hi Guys anybody from #XDAForum here? I have some issues with my device, when I used the mfg codes to access the software test I realized there's a error [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Builtin\RIL] "dll", mmril, mmrildbg.dll Due to which I haven't been able to upgrade my os to 7.8 though I did it once after I connected my device to zune it restored the OS back to 7.5 since then I haven't been able to upgrade even using skype. I would really appreciate it if somebody can let me know the default strings for LG C900 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Builtin\RIL]

I got this mobile unlocked from US. Very poor batt. Otherwise working fine. And i see only accesspoint names configuration to connect to internet. Will 3g work in India on this?

Actually the phone works better with 3G service! Works like a charm, I made a point looking up some specification and I noticed certain application need higher data speeds hence no more sudden shutdowns etc.., Working great, I just love the Skydrive app it become easier to share documents over skydrive retrieve info make changes and save it on skydrive. Its a beautiful phone. The Best part is the Keyboard the chicklet design makes it comfortable and easy to type faster without making any mistakes.

It's a great phone for a cheap price. I brought it on eBay, and i've owned it up to now(for 10mos). It runs on windows 7.5 updated automatically on Zune. It's smooth and has very responsive touch screen. All i wait is the release of windows 7.8 since it will not be receiving windows 8 os. =)

People since last couple of months I have been facing problems with my LG device when ever I download a new application and begin to use it the device boots up by itself and this has been happening too often. This phone is by far the best keyboard Windows phone ever. it has high PPI, make it real nice on screen. Too bad LG drop the OS. I would buy the next version for Win fone 8 for sure.

yes I updated my LG optimus to windows 7.5 mango. There are so many new feature like cut and paste and making unlimited numbers of groups in contacts. Mango also enables its battery timing, we can easily see our remaining battery time.

i agree to net guy but, i'd like to know if purchased the phone in India through a onlineshopping portal (if u did ur device is an unlocked version) if its bought from the US and AT&T then u have a problem. Not really go to the GREY market in ur city and go to any guy who unlocks an iPhone, he'll charge u 3k to get it unlocked.

I too got myself a the LG C900, just today! So far its been good but, like many have pointed out in the review the speaker phone crackles when the volume is raised to maximum. The best part of this phone is the email client, MS office (which I really needed as none of BB service offer until you pick up a high end device.) I also noticed that the touch screen is quite sensitive and at times doesn't register touch when it been touched from the corner of the screen, not sure if its only with my device or for everybody. I would really need some help on updating this device to WM7.5 I've got the AT&T unlocked device and was wondering how can I get the phone OS updated to 7.5 Appreciate your help! Ty guys!

According to your usage, it will last until you arrive home if you fully charged it before you go to work at morning, but I suggest that you should buy moblie charger (I'm not sure what it actually called) like Sanyo Mobile Booster to ensure that you won't miss anything important.

Battery will last a day w/ moderate usage, a couple of days with light usage in my experience. I love this phone and generally recommend it, but if you really are a heavy user, you might find the battery life insufficient. A car charger or extra battery might become necessary.

Restore your phone somehow... there is no way to recover your password, cellphones are programmed to lock you out permanently if you input the wrong password too many times, so if you find a way to restore it, kudos to you, otherwise, you've got a useless $300 piece of junk on your hands, and I know, I own one...

The only downside to this phone is the battery life. Other then that, it is an excellent phone if you are a business person that utilizes the Office 2010 Mobile apps. The 5 meg camera with flash works excellent and the video is crystal clear @ 720p. If you have a bluetooth television you can play your videos on it via the "play to" app. It also will hold all types of email accounts. It is a heavy phone due to the insides. (processor, RAM, and storage) Text messaging is a breeze with the keyboard. Receiving emails on several accounts in real time in also a plus.

i have used this phone a few times and am purchasing now because this phone is excellent. 1. keyboard is easy to use 2. Windows 7 Mobile is very fast and easy to use. 3. the phone feels solid 4. the screen is excellent and very responsive. highly recommended to try out.

I have to agree with the people who have tried it in person, the photos really don't do this phone much justice. I saw the online photos and thought the phone looked cheap and I happened to see it at a frys electronics so I thought I would at least play with it for a minute. It actually felt really good. The phone had a really nice weight to it and felt solid and very well built. The keyboard was really nice to type on and I personally didn't have a problem with the shift key, but I have small hands. The sliding mechanism was solid and felt nice, I sat there and opened and closed it for a little while. The screen is what really suprised me, it did not look good in the online photos, but it was great in person. It is a little disconcerning that the home screen doesn't reorientate to landscape but I'm hopeful MS will fix that. So I suggest to check it out in person if you can and if you like it they are going for like $300 on ebay.

This phone or any phone running Windows Phone 7 should be featured in some movies and a couple commercials at least. This phone software is amazing and the capabilities are almost endless. Yes the phone turns to landscape no problems for me and the typing is excellent with the real and virtual keyboard. Don't depend your buying opinion because 1 person gets horned up and voices negative things. DLNA playback at home is awesome too!

this phone is not user friendly it is not selling well in Australia , consumers are not pleased and retailers are not pleased with the screen as it does not rotate to a landscape view making it cumbersome to use and a waste of money to invest in. It cannot live up to its potential.

Actually, the keyboard is fairly large compared to most keyboard smartphones, I think it is targeted for males. Keyboards is one of the biggest complaints among males.

LG, LG, LG, No wonder your phone sales has dropped. Who is the LG'S CEO now? A lady or a GUY? If it is a lady, I am not surprised. A lot of your phone are oval shaped and having colourful keyboard. They are like flowers. Try to design squarish phones. Your phone spec are one of the best in the market. To me, Oval shaped slider phones are not suitable, It look like flower petals when you slide it, look at the pictures. As if they are meant for ladies only. It will be quite embarrassing to me personally, carrying flowers all day long. Don't know about you all. Please design something "UNISEX".

Quantum is the exact same phone but for AT&T (US Market) like Galaxy S has many versions (Captivate, Fascinate etc.) for different US telecoms (eg. T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint)
