Dude phone is mid ranger from 2014 of course its shitty. Idk where person who gave it to you even bought it new and why but its definitely not meant to be used 4 years from release especially when it is mid range phone. Thats the reason.

*inhales* . . . *exhales* Alright, I'll try to stay calm and polite. But this phone was a big, cheap mistake. Fortunately, I got it as a gift, so it wasn't MY money spent. It says "8GB storage, microSD card slot", let's start with the 8GB. As I got the phone, I had to stop all of the unnecessary bloatware. After that, the phone's able to hold these apps: Youtube, Reddit, Netflix, Steam and optionally 1-2 SMALL games. One of them small like Tetris. But hey, the microSD card slot!... It'd be cool if the phone would actually LET TRANSFER things into that card. Instead of that Tetris mentioned above, I installed Files to SD Card, it helps a little. But it ain't enough. So I wasted money on that 16GB microSD card just to fill it with 1GB and left with exactly 1GB of memory on the phone itself, which's constantly filling with cache and all the garbage so either 1. no more files/apps/pictures or 2. have that additional app but every day clean the memory out and transfer your pics on a computer or SD card. Next, 8mpix main camera - it's poor and other phones at this price have them way better. I'm not gonna mention the front 5mpix camera, pictures with it in even good daylight are a disaster. Another thing, it's laggy, it freezes, more advanced games than Tetris work on it like Witcher 3 on an old laptop - it heats up, closes the game from time to time and lags the hell out. Or the worst - turns the whole phone off. It takes some time to run bigger apps, even more time for games. The battery isn't THE worst, but it isn't that good either. You either use the phone for calling, texting and using lighter apps from time to time ending with 15-30% at the end of the day or else you carry the charger with yourself. My personal problems: it happened after installing Netflix, phone broke down, freaked out and started draining the energy like crazy, no other app than built-in Internet wasn't working. I wasted money on a new batter - nada, nothing, still broke. The guy selling the battery looked on the phone, then looked with some kind of pity on me and said "move all your pictures and personal files from it and the last chance is to restart it to default. Otherwise, it'd be better and cheaper to buy a new one rather than repairing this". Well, it worked. I'm not gonna lie, I had a little hope it'd not work and I could take a loan with a clear conscience and buy myself something new and better. The power and sound buttons at the back of the phone instead of the right edge ain't my cup of tea. Sometimes I turn off the phone instead of lowering the sound. As you see, the phone's curvy. At first, I didn't buy any case, but as time passed, the curvy back got more and more scratches. Same with the screen, as you buy the phone it doesn't arrive with any REAL screen protection and you need to buy it yourself. That cheap piece of plastic is full of scratches, even more than the back. I got the phone case from a co-worker that sold the phone off (yeah, from the frustration). Positives: videos on Netflix and Youtube work well. That's it. Oh, also you can call and text. Yeah, THAT'S IT. Verdict: Do not buy this phone if you want to use more options than calling or texting. Waste of money, waste of nerves. For a similar price, I suggest to check out Motorola Moto G5. 2x more memory; 13mpix main camera; Android 7 Nougat (better than lg g4c's lollipop). If you're thinking of getting this phone as a gift to someone, from a happy gift from first sight it'll become someone's curse. You broke the phone's screen? Better in price would be getting A BRAND NEW PHONE. Please, for the love of any god/deity/nothing you worship, think at least four times before even considering buying this phone. No offense, LG, but this phone is a piece of frustration and lags.

Have this phone for 2 years. Great camera, fast navigation and withstanded a lot. Unfortunately front camera died together with ear piece. Cost to replace from ebay parts some 30 euros. Give life to your phones people and dont just throw them away... Regarding battery still alive and kicking and love that you can easily change it since is replaceable. Got a couple of them and never had issues...

I have this phone for almost a year, and I want other phone, so that it runs out too quickly. In practice, even on the day they were resident. Then the phone and hanging up very little space is more in some programs and to download. So now I drool from Samsung and already eyeing a Samsung a5 2017. How will we look with this. For now looking at setting it looks really better than lg G4C. So just as I wanted to say about this phone, and I disapprove of his buying and who want to know if it is worth buying.

I've had this LG G4c for 7 months and now it has very little storage left on the phone, a few apps can be moved to the sd card as well as some pictures too, but the phone uses half it's 8GB for the phones operating system and with the constant app updates it quickly runs out of space and you have to delete apps etc, so not really happy with the phone, 8GB is not enough space, app makers you should make your apps so they can be moved to the micro sd card and make the phones user friendly.

this phone is ok for the price you buy it for. Its not that fast but its not slow at all and does all the tasks u need it to do. It has a decent camera although for the price u could get something better.

Used this phone for more than a year and what i can share is: PRO: battery is suprisingly good IF you don't use internet all the time and just activate it when you need. I could say that between 2 to 5 days keeps me (WITHOUT internet open all the time); sound is magically especially without a headset, many times i had to lower the volume just for other not to hear my conversation. CONS: lags in majority of apps and functions, if you put him at work on something that is above basic things comes out a little dissapointing. Sometime freezes for 1-2 seconds when accesing memory eating apps (wheather, facebook etc). All these downsides are around the little RAM which it has.

The phone at first was very poor, i bought an 64GB SD Card by mistake and it wasnt compatible with the phone but after some research i found a way to make it compatible. So the memory of 8GB is very poor which makes the phone very poor as pointed in some other comments but with the 64G Sd card it works much better some apps that load and use alot of space(snapchat, Netflix, facebook..) wouldn't work without the sd card but works fine for now. Ive used this phone for about 6months and am Very fund of it even though at some time, it has some basic lags but nothing that is too big of a problem, yet i over used the battery when i first recieved it so the battery runs out very fast at some points(especially using 3G/4G), and in these cases the phone over heats and gets very hot, some times, so i need to leave it be and cool down. So as i said it has some basic lags but in general i am fond of it due to what i have done to the phone, which is now very performent if i may say so.

Had it about a week now and compared to my Mini S3 this phone works much better! I am not someone who cares about the camera quality or if the latest game works etc. However I do care if I can make a phonecall and send a text which this phone does and the speed for the web is good. Battery life is similar to the mini S3 but the battery memory is non existant so you can charge it all you like. But I always buy spare batteries for any phone just in case. Anyway I have this on a 2 year contract with 3 Mobile. I'm not a teenager either and last night I downloaded Snake (you know that retro classic Nokia game) so I have a great excuse to use this phone more now. So if you want a cheap and semi decent phobe this one is good at that. I am happy myself.

After a week I can say that I'm happy with this phone. Battery, cameras and speaker are all wery good. Biggest downside is lack of ram, phone gets slow when using heavily. Also to mention: It does have led notification light at the top and fm radio :D

Some important note to my previous post - I can no longer recommend this phone for few reasons: 1. The yellow tint and the uneven back-lighting are too obvious at the bottom of the screen and that is annoying me too much already. 2. There is a very unusual bug - no matter what type or brand SD card I try to insert, it does not notify me for that, the card is accessible to right and read data, but when I try to format it, it just says something like "unfortunately android.com.settings has stopped" and that is still happening even after hard reset and update repair with LG Bridge. 3. Bluetooth is not bug free too and does not reconnect to some paired devices if the connection has been interrupted or it is doing it with very long delay. And if i watch YouTube and kill the app from background, when I get in my car and choose Bluetooth audio it does not start playing the music player but the last YouTube clip instead (without success of course). 4. Both Double tap wake up and glance functions are often not working after I pull the phone out of my pocket. Note that my particular model was BAL (Baltic region, S/N starting with 505) and everything negative I said should apply to this model only. I really loved this phone but because the above I am now bringing it back to the store. When bying LG G4C mandatory check for the above.

This might be one of the best ballanced budget 5" smartphone on our market. Bought it for 115 euro (retail). The good: Original elegant design, feels well in hand. It recieved Android 6.0 (Bulgaria) through OTA and works surprisingly good with it, despite 1GB RAM. The LTE connection is excellent. The main camera is basic, but with very fast response. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are very fast and stable. Battery life is best in class - at least 7,5 hours display activity at 50-70% brightness (supports auto brightness), standby is simply phenomenal. Powerfull backfiring speaker and very good sound through stereo jack. Stock audio player is very good and works fast and stable with car headunit. GPS is good. The bad: Display backlighting is powerfull and sharp but slightly uneven (yellowish tint in the bottom display section) and with cold colours, conversation speaker is relatively week and lacks hights, no "stay on while face detect" and no "answer me" options, no fast charge ready. Camera application is oversimplified and does not have HDR and Panorama. No dualband Wi-Fi. No stock flashlight option?! Overall: If you hate spending lots of money for such a fragile device like smartphone (just like me), but you don't want to miss the digital era, than you will be very hapy with it. Just dont pay more than 120 euro for it.

yea i know.. havee it.. and i was upgraded tp 6.0 too! Great phone! I just wish there would be a bit more protection on the front speaker,because it is exposed to dust,My friend hhas the Samsung galaxy J5 and I have the LG G4c,and we compared speakers, the G4c speakers are realy loud comparing to any other phone, espically the back speaker. Its a very good price to for its specs.

Had a LG Spirit 4G which i didnt much like and did not mean to buy another phone from LG because of all the issues with that phone. However this phone was on sale for 129 euros so i decided to test it anyway since i liked what LG is doing with design and user interface. So far so good and no issues of any kind. Its a pleasure to use this phone with its good sounding speaker and its crisp and good looking display. It is very energy efficient and has a battery time that is the best of any phone i ever had. Of course it is not the fastest phone on the planet and i dont think thats what they intended to make since its a phone with low specs and a low price. Memory could have been 16 gigs but with as many apps as possible moved to the SD card i still have 2 gigs free and what is also suprising is how well it handles with only 1 giga of RAM memory,it seems to be very well optimized.Its not fast but thats not lag,its just the slower processor that takes a little more time doing things. Zen pinball works nicely without lags and the phone stays VERY cool while playing. So if you wanna trade speed for absolutely stellar batterytime this is the phone to buy. If you need to play the heaviest games thats out there and need things to happen the very second you touch an icon then this phone is not for you. Btw GPS works good even indoors on this phone as it should. Very good phone for the money it costs.

Friend it is fantasy i wish it was reality. Wish for great 4,7 inch hd/full hd big swappable battery , solid phone with very good cam from LG. It does not exist. I now use an Z3C wich has super battery time , nice things are magnetic charger connextion, ok cam (wjats wrong sony why do you deliberately bring out sych weak camera ohines) , itsnot a bad device but the non swappable battery and glass back suck

got this phone from my company, as replacement of a Moto X 2nd generation This is simply the WORST phone I ever had, I am dropping it and will buy another phone from my bucket as this phone is just a piece of crap : slow; lag, bugs; slow slow damn slow. get better if you replace the LG keyboard but still not worth the money. I owned a Lg G2 which was amazing. I lost it and bought this G4c. It's a nightmare. Hangs at least once every couple of days, I need to remove battery to start it gain. Extremely slow, too few memory, keeps telling me I can't install new app or update because of low memory. On startup took up to 15 minutes (!!!) to connect gsm network. I don't know if I will take Lg again this phone is so disappointing.

After update (witch it has aprox 350 MB) everything looks fine now. No freez, no lag, nothing, i recomand this update, in my case update solved a lot of problems

The worst phone ever. In one month, I had to complete two factory resets, was obligated to use custom interfaces like Nova Laucher and custom keyboards like Fleksy. I just sent it to the service and I hope they will tell me it is a factory malfunction and can not be fixed so that I can change it with something better at the same price. Do not buy this phone if you want to stay calm. No root, 2.66 GB usable internal memory. The only good thing about it was the camera which took amazing pictures but it was also laggy. I don't know why it costs approx $320 in my country.. Such a pile of wasted money. I hope I can either get a refund or they can change my phone with something equivalent in price. I'd rather have the HTC Desire 626 or Huawei P8Lite or something like that.

I bought it a month ago. It works perfect. Both cameras are good. No problems at all. I root the phone because i use 3 apps wich need root permision, 26 apps already installed including games and it works ok. It depends what you need. AND REMEMBER SAMSUNG USERS APEARS AS DISAPPOINTED USERS OF LG AND WRITE BAD COMMENTS. WHAT YOU PAY IS WHAT YOU GET. And always what you need.

If you think about getting this phone I have one simple suggestion for you guys: DON'T! I got it as a temporary solution till the iPhone 6s is launched in Belgium and I really regret the 199 euros... It lags, it freezes, it reboots, it's a nightmare! Had this phone for 3 weeks when the screen suddenly went black although the phone was working in the background. My phone company say it cannot be repaired and because of this is no longer under warranty. I would never have another LG phone they are NOT fit for purpose and the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.

With this price range, I don't know why people are bitchin about this phone? I bought 1 last week, so far so good. The display is very vibrant and crisp. Downloaded a few apps and non are sluggish or hunged up the phone. I played some games extensively(like around 2 hours) and there's no heat up or phone crash issue. Battery is a little on the downside because it kinda drain pretty quickly. Overall, my gripes are on the general design. To me it's really stupid to have the power button and the volume rocker positioned side by side and have it located at the back of the phone. Really awkward when using it on a day-to-day basis. Finally, don't try to compare this phone to any flagship phone out there. It's a nice phone in its own right. Just don't expect it to perform like it's bigger brother.

Really regret getting this phone. On paper the specs sound ok for a budget smartphone, but in reality it is incredibly sluggish, for example I will get a notification saying I've got a message but have to wait 15-20 secs before the message app responds! Facebook is also a chore to use, often requiring force closes and restarts. Its not even worth me downloading any other apps for it as they will probably be painfully slow as well. The only real positive I can say about the G4c is it's battery life, which does last almost 3 days between charges. Will definitely be getting rid of this phone and getting something better equipped.

Just to clarify after speaking and checking with carphone warehouse, there are indeed 2 versions at least theirs is different from the one advertise here as it a snapdragon 610 clocked at 1.5ghz and not the 410 1.2 ghz which is why I shall be buying it soon as I get the money.

Totally not an upgrade from g3 s/beat. The only thing upgraded is the front cam up to 5 from 1.3. Such a disappointment. They should atleast put a 1080 screen and a 13 megapixel cam. And 2 g of ram. Tho the phone is a looker i must say.

you should take note not all lg phones will release in your country or in just one country. lg named their phone differently because they releases it in different target markets its call strategy. and yes they are very successful

Yeah, in the UK, the g4c was launched instead of magna LTE, for a higher price (probably), but it had 2 differences with international magna, (which is not getting released in UK, we only get spirit LTE and Leon LTE), the back cover has a different pattern, and the processor has been switched to a snapdragon 610 quad core 1.5ghz, at least that us what carphone warehouse UK says.

Actually the main reason why I am not going to buy a LG phone is phones like this. Unfortunately, LG flagships have the twins that are so cheaper but the same in appearance! Generally, There is no difference between cheap and expensive phones regarding appearance in the LG smartphone market
