LG G7 One - User Reviews

  • Good question it should be here by December for sure

  • When will it get android 10?

  • Don't even compare anything from UMIDigi to even LG. Sure they give you some bells and whistles and make it look good. But it's a total pile of crap. It'll last a matter of weeks, stuff starts randomly breaking (good by USB port), can't stay connected to WiFi, BT or even cellular service... negating it's purpose all together. A single camera on this phone is vastly better than 2 or 3 5mp cameras interpolated to 12mp on a UMI.

  • Thanks a lot - looks like it will work on O2 then!

  • LG X5: Moroccan Blue & Mystic White in Japanese Market only

  • LTE-FDD: 700, 800, 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2600 LTE-TDD: 2600

  • Note: The 16mp Rear camera has an OIS on board.

  • Does anyone know which LTE bands this phone is compatible with? Looking to get a refurbished o rover from Canada to the UK and am on O2.

  • Hey I have the same phone myself, the laser is used for the camera to quickly focus, LG has been adding laser focus since the G3 I think.

  • I'm curious about the "laser" component and its purpose. I just received my G7 One on a special deal and read in the handbook that it employs a laser system of some kind. What does this laser do? Other than that, I'd say this is one cool piece of equipment to own, not bad at all.

  • Use BlackBerry hub+ app.. fantastic on any Android phone

  • Not a battery sucker i have it for over 1.5 months gets me through the day with medium use.. actually great battery life.

  • I just bought from Fido LG G7 ONE and very disappointed! Because of ONE much used feature not there... I am unable to highlight & delete multiple messages from One Conversation while leaving a few. Pl. let me know if your LG G7 ONE has this problem or have I purchased a "dud"

  • does it charge wireless???

  • Is someone knows if it is compatible with T-Mobile US

  • Have it for over a week love it.. no issues great battery life.. Amazing screen. Optimized os sipping battery life not hogging it. Get a case because its very slippery dropped it serval times before my case came.. Used to Blackberry devices and amazing grip.

  • Bought it from Fido.. Great battery life because of optimized os. Fast fluid not boated. Only thing i don t like so far is the grip coming from Blackberry used to amazing grip. Bought case fixed issue.

  • The battery is fine. I've used the phone for months, acubattery pegs screen on at 11 hrs. I don't play games. I also have a pixel 3 and am hard-pressed to justify the difference in cost. On contact this g7 one was 360 CAN.

  • My screen on time is about 9 hours.

  • Any source and proof of that? Pretty sure the V30 has stellar battery life even according to GSMarena itself.

  • Bloated or not, LG is having issues with display tech, which is still a huge battery sucker compared to other brands. Didn't change much ever since G3 which also had 3000mah cell and high res/density panel and lasted like 2-4 hours, 6 hours only in the begining as a brand new device and good battery

  • Curious about the G7 One an it's android one Specs? How does the battery perform on the stripped down version of the G7? I know on the ThinQ it's sub par compared to other flagship devices. But considering it's a lighter version OS and is without bloat ware, how does the battery affect this? I can't find anything online for the G7 one regarding this.

  • 500 eur for 4gb ram and 3000mah ba3??

  • I love LG because they provide FM radio in their high end phones and worth to mention their quad DAC and amazing screen, all these features and still this phone is 300$ cheaper than galaxy S9 in my country, though battery is bit concern still manageable.

  • 400 euro sounds good for this phone, and the question can i buy in Indonesia LG?

  • The Phone does not support 2 sim cards. Found that out the hard way :(

  • ...it will be a good option if LG sell it below $400...the SD835 is still a capable processor...better than most of the SD6xx series...

  • Only 32gb of internal memory? seriously?

  • LG phones are great better than Samsung my advice you can go for G6 G5 v20 v30 cheap on Amazon

  • Has it Gorilla Glass?

  • I will never again choose LG as my phone. I bought it for a hefty price yet after 4-6 months the value depreciate like CRAZY. Like HALF THE PRICE! It was a good phone tho.

  • you forgot the 32GB internal storage too

  • 600 euro for this phone...go to the hell with your device

  • How lucky we are, eh? ;P

  • 600 Euro for S835 much more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ with S845. Are you guys nuts?

  • most likely never. As this is only for Canada market.

  • Good phone,so it seem. When is it going to be release to the Nigeria market and how much?

  • Battery management from android one A.I. will make this phone's battery life last alot longer compared to the other new LG phones without android one.

  • 3rd Party, it's not stock to Android One

  • Will we get call recording feature via 3rd party or inbuilt app? Its android one and in Nexus there was no call recording. Thanks

  • Its available with the operator Videotron on Canada with offers

  • Available at Canadian mobile operator Telus for 875 CAD which is around 670 USD.

  • is it global or just canada

  • rumoring around 450 EUR recommended LG price

  • I wish that lg give it a beefy 4000mah battery...

  • It is going to hit the shelves in Canada first. Release date October 19, 2018.

  • Since the LG V40 ThinQ is out should we be expecting a release for the LG G7 ONE and LG G7 Fit,?

  • Everything about this phone looks excellent to me. It checks enough boxes for an affordable mid-range. + focus on premium audio (because who doesn't love music?) + 3.5mm jack! + that screen (i'll go to group to cope with the notch) + IP68 waterproof + Android One (treble too because it launches with Oreo) + rear fingerprint, nfc, expandable storage No phone will perfectly match what everyone wants, but this is one phone I would love to own. Besides, the beauty of Android is that we have choices like this and so many other devices. I find their trade-offs reasonable for my needs and expect to purchase this when it becomes available. I prioritize regular security updates, nfc, rear fingerprint, and longevity. I own a Nexus 5x currently with 32gb storage and I've never even been below 10gb free space (partly due to google photos). The Nexus 5x doesn't even have expandable storage like the G7 One. I need a solid device that will last me 2 years and won't make my bank account cry. This looks like a great candidate.

  • Always with the poor battery capacity. I've had many LG's and they are only worth getting once their prices drop after 1 year or more. They may have top class specs on paper but I've found that they tend to have many issues with hardware and updates are so very slow to come out.

  • This will be a great phone. It should be faster than fast with a pure Google. I wish it has the 845 Chipset and Wireless charging. That would have made it perfect. I cannot wait to buy one hopefully from T-Mobile with the Band 71 (600 Mhz) on board,

  • Why LG lets down itself with poor battery?

  • a budget friendly g7

  • Double tap to wake?

  • You make it sound like the Snapdragon 835 is an Intel 286. The 835 is a perfectly reasonable choice for a mid-market phone in 2018. Personally, I'm eagerly awaiting the release of this phone in the US, to replace my aging Galaxy S7 (which has a Snapdragon 820).

  • seriously? snapdragon 835?????

  • When this phone official release in Indonesia?

  • Will it be sold in the U.S.?

  • Still rocking the G LG?! Since when? the old ones turned out to be great? I'm warning you guys you will be disappointed with hardware and software and will be depressed! This company knows nothing about mobile world.

  • I'm new to the phone release waiting game. Is it normal for a phone to not have a release date if it's really coming out this month?

  • Is it confirmed that the phone has a Li-Po battery?

  • No superwide camera, 32gb storage, just 3000mah power battery. LG continues to created crap everyday

  • My 821 is crying in the corner rn.

  • This device appears when No notch option is selected in filters

  • Idk why some are complaining about the lack of a widescreen camera, the platform is Android One. LG can't customize the software to include a toggle for a secondary cam since AFAIK, Android doesn't support it yet. Why add a secondary primary camera if there is no drivers or software support for it?

  • Snapdragon 835 could easily recommended by most people if it runs on 5 incher metal phone and Android One program.

  • Hi really really like this phone

  • Hoping lg g7 two will overtake ram size than internal storage. At least not in battery

  • Is it available in U.S.?

  • I just got info from EU supplier - it is possible LG G7 One won`t be available in EU, at least not in every country.

  • Wondering if can LG price this aggressively in India! All though it has older flagship processor, it can beat still most of mid range processors. The major advantage of this device is, its on Android ONE. Hoping to see good camera quality and many reviews. This device can give LG some inroads into Indian mobile market if priced properly.

  • has led notifications

  • It's still have led notification too?

  • over 30 % cheaper than original g7 , The s835 is still a good processor and very fast ,and clean android without bloatware, and regular updates

  • Yeah, not everyone needs the last generation SoC. I'm alright with sacrificing a bit of performance (which I will not notice a lot) for an adequately priced phone.

  • "WPC&PMA wireless charging (US version only)" Thank you very much LG for caring about your European customers. I can't help but wonder why in the world a third-tier phone maker Umidigi is able to integrate BOTH NFC and Qi wireless charging in their models (Umidigi One Pro and Z2 Pro are just a couple of examples) but a first-tier global giant like LG cannot do that. This is not a tech limitation but a marketing one—if you want wireless charging in a device from a first-tier manufacturer in 2018, be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it.

  • I was excited until I saw the chipset. 835?? Really LG??

  • every phone from LG have 3000 mah 😀

  • This G7 is very interesting, especially when it's priced competitively. If you pay much less for this Phone, who cares about a last generation SoC. Most people don't, but it saves some bukcs for sure.

  • Too many ways this phone could've been better to mention one by one. Bottomline, if LG had too many SD835, they should've just released an LG G6s 4th quarter of last year with an upgraded chipset. Seriously, there's no SD835 phone with a notchless tall aspect ratio, microSD card Slot, 3.5mm audio jack, standard screen (none of those "Edge" type), decent battery, ingress protection, and most importantly, having a relatively compact size. And an LG G6 with SD835 could've been that. In relation to this, the V30 should've been bigger, to compete with flagship Notes from other brands. It's not as big as the "sweet spot" for a lot of consumers, apparently, but it's not compact enough for the other demographic either.

  • This or the honor play?

  • The biggest letdowns of this phone is 32 GB flash and 1080p@30 recording. It's a SD835 for god's sake.

  • Everything looks excellent for mid-range segment (hope it is mid-range), but LG should have added dual camera & 6GB ram. Now I'll have to buy some other Android One...

  • I was so happy to see LG moving to android One but removing the wide angle camera? That was the main reason they got my attention and why I use a G6. I'll wait and see for a G8 one or G9 one depending how quickly my G6 slows. Or maybe just jump on the one plus bandwagon if they don't rise the price any higher. The Pixel 3 looks not great (not to mention double the price) but I want that cleaner android...

  • A company who knows that it's not going to sell this model

  • lg keeps messing up 32 gb internal 3000 mah really!! come on lg keep it up you are loosing more costumers

  • Another garbage phone 3000mah battery

  • I wish the notch was removed

  • 32GB internal? Whos does this?

  • "Protection: To be confirmed" May it be GG6?
