You can hear the ring tone when some one call you but if u answer the speakers not working also same problem if u try to make a call .if u play tones from gallery it will work .so if i want to make a call i have to play tones form gallery first. So please if anyone can solve the problem please kindly tell, Thank you.

I've had this phone for 6 months now. Actually had alot of trouble finding it, there was only one on ebay that delivered to my country. But it was so cheap, like less than 100$ incl. shipping. The phone is pretty much what I expected and wanted. It looks great to me, I even like that it doesn't have an external display. It has absolutely no functions, which is great because I got tired of toy phones which serve for everything but calling and messaging. And with those phones you always have this feeling that it will get stolen or lost which sucks. It handles calls and SMS perfectly. The keypad is great, I have no problems and as with all Nokias you can type SMS with lightning speed. OK, so all in all, heres the good and the bad that I've experienced from using this phone. GOOD - simple, easy to use, a true mobile phone - battery is good - indicative lights that blink when you have a missed call or a SMS is the most superb feature I've ever seen, all phones should have this - the mix of the ringtone, vibration and blinking lights is great, especially in the night - looks so damn cool and i love the rubber - you can replace the SIM card without turning it off or pulling the battery out - it's fast, no lag, I hate lag.. and many high end expensive phones are laggy like hell and freeze and what not... it's a disgrace BAD - sometimes when you open it, only the clock shows and you cant do anything, you have to turn it off or even replace the battery - altho it will recognize the caller ID from your phonebook when somebody calls you, if you call a number, but not from phonebook, just by inserting it manually, it may not say "calling... mom", but will say "callilng... 0934682577" or whatever... VERY BAD AND ANNOYING - when someone's calling you, you of course have to open the clam... but the phone automatically answers the call after about 5 seconds after you open it.. This is a big issue if you dont want to answer the caller... you can only reject the call or accept it before the phone does it for you on it's own... you cant just leave it ringing or mute it... - when you are done typing an SMS, the whole message is still displayed... if you press the "red" button, the next time you start typing a new SMS, the text from the old message is still there... you have to press options and then "clear text"... or you can do that every time you finish typing a message Well, that's it. Overall I'm happy with this phone. I just had a Samsung D900 for a couple of weeks and I gave it to my mom because I hate it. Now I'm back to using this phone. So there...

I ve got the black version of this phone and i'd say its a pretty good second fone for me: ultra reliable, soft keypad, and the structure as well. Overall, its a great reliable fone from Nokia and is greatfor those who need a budget phone, but the keys on the fone are quite hard to press, but this doesnt affect the speed of the fone.

One of my best friends had this phone... it used to be her grandpa's but was given to her for her birthday... I don't know how she treats her phone exactly, in fact I've never seen her drop it, but for some weird reason the LCD stopped displaying what it was supposed to display after just a month or so, and instead showed only black...but she decided not to have it repaired anyway because a repair would cost nearly as much as the phone itself.

I bought my mom this phone. I mean, there's not really any cool features -- but I guess that's okay, since a phone should be used as what it's made for: to make phone calls. Yea sure it's pretty cheap, but it's cheap for a reason. ;] I haven't seen the black one at all, only the silver one. If anything, this phoen felt pretty cheap. And the quality of the screen isn't as clear compared to other nokias. The sad part is, when it's flipped open, it just looks like a regular land-phone. o__O: sad, isn't it? And lol @ lol "this is the future of phones"

recieved this phone two days after ordering it. I have to say for 20 quid you simply cannot go wrong. My advice is not to use any wallpapers as the signal strength and battery indicators are very difficult to see. I suggest you use the cliparts which keep the sceen clear and jazz up the sceen at the same time. That nokia thing in the middle is fine when its closed, however when its open it kind of looks odd. Oh yeah it was also unlocked when i recieved it. sorted.. since my initial intention was to use it as a a I dont give "bleep" if I lose it phone abroad.

well this is not a comment on the phn but in general. currently the Nokia 2650 am using is broken bt with greatest difficulty am using it until i get a new phn. i have only used it for 10months. and i still want to be a loyal nokia user but i cant find a phn which i like. as in a good design. i would like if nokia can design more nice hardy flip phns. I mean i guess u are loosing customers like me coz one being there is absolutely nothing i like in these nokia phns except 7270 but most ppl say since its a flip phn the life is short. Then thought i like the 6111 but tht also some nokia dealers here dont sell it since its a faulty phn. So am really confused wheter to stil but buy a nokia or go for something else. there is nothing i can find to fit my budget. So pls try and be more innovative.

Hi, Well, i think it's not the best phone at all. The desigh isn't really beautiful and the isn't a difference with the 2650... I recomend it to kids and beginners. I have a 2650 and i'll change it for a SGH-X480 because it's more elegant and it's a better phone. Ant think a while before buying another one with photos etc. the photos are awful and if you want good photos, then so buy a good digital camera en not an expensive phone who is supposed to have "good" photos. this fone is simply a 3100 in flip form, ok it can edit images but what are u really gonin to be usin that for.. the screen is tiny s there isnt much to display ( what a waste of space)... the price is pretty good though... i could be a good first phone

I used to have 2600 it was great for basic use. When i gifted it to some freind, i went for the 2652, its more expensive and has less facilities even for basic use. I don't recommend it although its shape is quite new and innovative but that's not enough.

Missing on two vitals.. A display which shows Caller ID and Date/Time without opening the flap. The most apt place would be the area where they had put their *HUGE* logo on the outside where the clamshell folds. A button near the outside display which would allow me to reject/silent the calls without openng the shell.

ever encountered blank display problems with 2650 or moreover with flip-type, sliding, rotating nokia phones??? i really dont know why but whenever they release these type of phones, it usually turns blank. hope they've improved the keypad that chips off easily as seen on nokia 2650

Dont buy the 2650. My girlfriend and i each bought one (in different countries) and both died after just over 12 months. My screen went dead and her whole phone went dead.... im beginning to think its a nokia conspiracy! unfortunately i already bought a new nokia 6021 otherwise i wouldve stayed clear of nokia

It may be that this phone is the exact same as the 2650 (Apart from the design), but if one would like a simple, good looking phone with not many facilities on it, this is the phone for you. I'd recommend this phone to anyone who's just looking for a PHONE. The phone appeals to different people with different needs. I'd give this an 8/10.

I got Nokia 2650. Man need to tell you all it made me crazy. The handset went dead on its tenth month. Hard keypad came out for which i could not find any replacement. Freezes very often. People, look for better models. "DON'T FELL FOR IT'S LOOK"-- performance does matter.

Thia phone is for "emerging markets", they say. So good for these markets. No mikey mouse cameras, and other toys for infantile types that, apparently, dominate the "first world". Battery lasts for a week, decent reception. So the keypad is unpleasant, but not that terrible. --B

five months ago i bought nokia 2650. after 2 weeks, the flip looks so bad. i was so regret bought this phone. i think nokia is not an expert in producing calmshell cellular. i think nokia 2652 is the same failed product as 2650..

personally i think black is a nicer colour than the white red one but why cant they just put a small screen on the outside since this is a flip phone....the screen dont need to be color, even those monochrome or greyscale screen will be fine,they could even be as small as those pagers screen i dont mind. they can be useful for displaying caller ID and sms and time and things like this...also since this is flip they should hav make the screen a little bigger or longer like those rectangle screen.

this is the same phone as the 2650... compare them on this sit and you'll see that they are exactly the same exept for the color... i know why they gave it a new number, to advertise the new colors on sites like this... my question to nokia is why change the model numbers, why not just call them a 2650 black instead??? if it had a different feature like bluetooth or FM radio then i'd understand but it is clever what they have done. changed colors, gave it a different model number and hope people will buy the same thing that they've had on the market for a fair while now. clever move but i still don't like it. (even though i'm a huge nokia fan)

I see other users here don't 'get' what Nokia are doing here. This isn't a phone for the sophistcates of London or Paris but for the emerging markets in Eastern Europe, RoC and Africa. I think this is a smart move, developing brand identity and awareness in markets that are growing fast and will soon be looking how to move on from this basic phone to something better.
