Using this phone since November 2013 till now nearly 5 and 1/2 years, however it is my first Android phone since the N series, i can say it is a very robust phone, battery last longer, worth the price 16k here in Mauritius.. Unfortunately it is limited only to 4.4.2 os. Now in 2019, due to larger application, the phone lags, anyway still using it, fell down unlimited time.

Download Easybackup from playstore backup all your contacts nd messages then go to Settings -apps-all apps-contact storage-clear the data-then force stop it once After it is done go to easy backup app nd restore ur contacts. It was work perfectly.

by the way, if you're still using this model, you might encounter problems like battery draining very fast and the back of the phone turns hot? try removing the external memory card. that happened to my phone. when i removed the external micro sd card. it worked back to normal.

Hi All, I have been using this phone for over 2 years now. There are many issues with this phone. First of all it uses a MT dual core processor which really sucks. Secondly it hangs alot. Thirdly there are way too many pre installed apps on it which cannot be uninstalled. Fourthly it takes time for the lock screen to display and sometimes because of it when you put it in your pocket later on you will find some gibberish message it is typing because it keeps hitting random keys in your pocket and will deliver the same to any person. Lastly you cannot move any of the pre installed apps onto your sd card.

Bt i found d solution, download easy backup frm play store backup ur msgs and contacts to sd card (easy backup have option to save in sd card n many other places ) select it on sd card then go to settings open applications go to downloaded den open contact storage,clear data (after backup) den go back to easy backup restore ur msgs and contacts ,then ur mob will b as before, it wont take any time.... :-)

This is a terrible phone. I have had it for two months and the screen freezes constantly. When I hit the contacts it freezes and takes a long time to display. When I want to make a call, it freezes and I have to wait about a minute later before it will send the call. It also turns the settings off by itself and changes the sim settings from card one to card two.

I've solved the problem with loading much time contacts and messages. Go to Settings/Apps/Contacts Storage and here press Clear Data (this must have maximum 2mb, mine was 24). After this, all your contacts from your phone memory will be deleted, so, before claering the data, copy them on to a sim card. After this, you can add the contacts again into the phone's memory.

On 23.10.2015 I had a software update to 20e, still kitkat, which says that the apps are now better optimized but I still have that issue with contacts and messages. Btw, what's the maxim speed on 3G of this phone, only 7.2/5.76 Mbps? It sucks if this is it as the maximum speed on 3G is 21,6 Mbps. I have the phone since March 2014.

I bought this mobile on 20 nov 2014.I can say that my decision to go with LG rather than Samsung was right, and after using it for more than 5 months.I can say that its a best mobile in 12000 bracket.Though it has a mediatech processor but u will hardly see any lag in day to day use Camera performance is quite good i would say.But not excellent,it does not have HDR function,but let me tell u it take quite decent photos.above average.dont expect more from camera. so what is my final verdict; if u wana buy a mobile in 12000 dont look anywhere just pick one.DO NOT UPGRADE IT TO KITKAT. This phone is great for the price. It has no significant difference between it's upgraded sister the LG G3 Stylus. Compare to other smart phones like galaxy s series, it's just a name competition. They both have no daylight between them. Size is nice, it's light more importantly the touch screen is highly sensitive. One tough, u are on the next page

Sometimes when want make call at first a blank screen appears with a circle rotating then say after 15 to 20 sec second the call start.. 2.Every time I am checking the msg delivery confirmation to on state. but when the phone restart or there is change in sim the on mode changes to off mode. 3. But it will be lagy and slow u have to reset factory it but firest backup ur staff contacts, photos,.... Just don't forget to do FACTORY RESET after Kitkat update if you experience some lag/issues after update. I was facing slow OS and other glitches after KITKAT update. And then I did factory reset....result>>>AWESOME...EVERYTHING LOOKS NEW SMOOTH AND BETTER THAN BEFORE. 😁😁

Do you even know the difference between 4.4.4 and 4.4.2 ?? I guess NOT that's why you are complaining. Just check the changelog in google android version history/log. It's nothing special that can be mentioned for a user. Just some minor bug fixes!!! Better pray to get Android L by the end of this year. It would be highly recognized act by LG if they provide Android L.

To Mr. Kamlesh, Hello. I dont know if u had encounter this but for i just did. Last night i upgraded the Os since i got a notification on it. After downloading i installed and was successful. After upgrading, i noticed some issues: For the SIM CARD COLOR THEME, before the upgrade i was using the THEME 1, now that i upgraded the OS the theme option was still there but on the screen it became totally WHITE, both the sim icon, no more color at all. Also the CALL ICON,before it was GREEN, now it became WHITE too. Any solution from u is very much appreciated sir. Thank you.

By updating to the kitkat, sd card will be restricted. Third-party apps can not read or write the sd card. The only possible solution is the device rooting.

Two common doubts are 1. Internet speed : Here Download Operamini from Google play and use that. 2. Move games/applications to ext sd card. Answer : Download cleanmaster from Google play make a backup in it with your games and then move to the ext sd card as its called. Simple.

I must say compared to P770 that I have previously owned, this phone is way better. At least in terms of GPS performance, the touchscreen and internal storage which is around 4gb (P770 only has less than 700mb internal storage. However, it can allow you to move apps to sd card. Please note, not all the apps can be moved to sd card). The Battery life is awesome. My problems are only with the voice and gaming experience. When I am on the phone, the voice sounds very weird for me, so I usually use a earphone (sennheiser ie80i) to tackle this problem. In conclusion, this is a great SECONDARY phone because of its battery life as well as the dual sim card. If you want a main phone for gaming, or stored lots of apps, this is not a good option for you given the price.

Compared to a Galaxy Note 2: - No notification light - No navigation button lighting (doesn't that bother anyone? WTF?) - Stylus is a standard one, VS the Active Stylus from Samsung. Also, Samsung's stylus is like a pencil, the LG stylus is like wiping the screen with the pencil's rubber side.. Yuck! - Only Android 4.1. Come on, LG.. seriously?? - Bluetooth doesn't work on the BMW E90. Samsung Note 2 Bluetooth is brilliant with the car. - The placement of the "Back" button is terrible! You tend to undersecure the phone in your hand while reaching with your finder for the 'Back' button. This increases chance to drop it on the floor. The sim-swich button is useful, however, it is easily pressed by accident, you end up calling from the wrong number. That could cost you! Overall, i have it, i will give it back. Not impressed, not even by a long shot.

The phone seems fit for regular use with less (heavy) gaming but it does handle them well to its best. The display is vivid even with its low resolution. The ui is really smooth and less lags. I haven't tried using data.( i use wifi). The lg software features like qslide and quick memo will amaze you if you are new to it. Good for taking notes especially with the stylus. The battery is decent. I'd recommend this phone if benchmarks and detailed graphics doesn't bother. :)

You can long press any image to get the save/download option OR if that doesn't work you can open a image in new tab (in chrome) OR just view in full screen by touching that image (in fb app) and try long press (in chrome) and menu hardware touch button(in fb app )to save /download images. I would RECOMMEND you to use FIREFOX browser in Android phones as its much better than CHrome in terms of usability and performance. OR USE UC BROWSER for android mobile version-its a marvel in the BROWSER world. UC browser is feature loaded and can download any thing with HIGHEST POSSIBLE speed. One thing i learnt from all hi tech phones id, will have all features but no endurence to njoy the features. Regarding this phone. LG G pro lite is the best balance between performance and endurance. My usage 1. 3 Hours gaming 2. 24*7 Online, skype, viber, 3g on, 3. 2 to 3 hours of speaking 4. i charge once to 100 percent at nyt, after a day long of usage it remains with 40 % battery left. Hence choice is yours.

If you want the camera update to work in your phone you need to format it and load the original stock software again online/offline (as per ur choice). I had also rooted my ph and faced the similar issue.

hmm..but now my device is at service statn in Pune for replacement, due to slow FB app & network connectivity issue of 3G. Battery is awesome, but it can't play all video types, bit dull screen, network connectivity issue for 3G only (towers signal use to vanish suddenly) & whenever i opened facebook app..it takes hell lot of time to load the images..actually it process the images for long and them displays it..sometimes feels like wasting money :(

My message is to mr. Kamlesh. I own an LG G PRO LITE, and i can't say anything bad agfainst this phone. I love it more than samsung phone. I have LG G PRO LITE (D686) and the keyboard split in lanscape mode does not funccion, or in the menu it doesnt show KnockON. My phone it`s from Taiwan / firmware is: V10C_00 I saw in internet 2 versions of firmware: V10C_00, V10A_00, in different countries.. I can't find in internet any description of these firmwares. Can anyone tell me who has a different firmware than mine (v10c_00) if KnockON and the keyboard split are working and if there is a problem if I install a different version of firmware from different countries ? i have been using this phone for 45 days .......the problems i have started face in this are 1. while unlocking the screen, if there is a notification such as cost balance,data usage or of any other apps(esp some )in the back ground the maze lock starts to lag very for behind my finger trail some time it wont even reach the pattern ...it literally lags...this has always been 2. display problem....some time in the middle of any usage it fades followed the BACK LED goes off i think ...and then the display come again.......and some time when it goes it started to show blue,violet, green simultaniously..then black scrren and then it come again. 3.this is the first LG phone i am using in my life 4. i have some descent apps and simple games around 50 mb in my phone ....i am not a vigorous user 5. i feel little shamed in front of my friends ..cos its new phone but when they use it they satart to see this problems 6. it has very good display,very good UI in this segment phones but i am really worried that i have wasted my money ...i dont even think this phone would come an year.....cos this problem will become more from day by day 7 my 3g speed is around 2mbps....but when i open face book app ...it takes time to load the the images ...actually it process the images for long and them displays it ... in my videos thumbnail are always loaded but not in gallery

Any android mobile supports excel and other office files..what you need to do is just install your favourite office software and PDF software. By default LG G PRO lite has POLARIS OFFICE VIEWER. I changed that to full edition POLARIS OFFICE (for editing, viewing etc.)

Depends on your service provider.. use the strongest one having full network in your area among.. AIRTEL,VODA or IDEA if you are in India..others are always connecting and disconnecting frequently. Also set proper APN settings in network for 2G/3G Eg. for 2G in IDEA: Idea_Internet and NOT Idea mms...(depends on your subscription.)

It takes time... first use it to believe it.. I've used SAMSUNG, SONY,HTC for last 3 years and now I am very happy with such 5.5in slim sexy feature loaded LG phone with smoothest UI. SAMSUNG UI is buggy sometimes and lagging in GRAND most of the times GRAND design is old and bulky ..seems much thicker due to thick chrome. GRAND2 might be better for some people BUT LG G PRO LITE is class apart in terms of feature..you cant get smooth functionality of stylus, notes,quick apps and IR Blaster in any phone below 35K

No such problem ever faced by me... to send sms through a particular sim or make call just touch the sim option before sending your sms /making any call... i.e; you should make sim switch only after selecting the contact person for call/sms so that that particular contact is functional for the sim that you have selected. THE PHONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY MEMORIZE YOUR CHOICE and will facilitate the same while you contact the same person NEXT time.

I live my lg pto lite phone. It only has a dual core processor but i havent encountered lags in this phone. It has a.very sensitive.touch screen and i like.its.lightweight. it looks like samsung.note 3 and well its affordable. Ive used note.8, iphone 4s and i dont.see.any difference from these.phones. it depends.upon the preference of the user. If u want exoensive and.classy phone, get an iphone but it has limitations in which u cant use the bluetooth and small screen..... if u love large.screen with heavy usage the.vo for samsung note 8 and if u wanf affordable.phablet with nicefeatures buy this lg pro lite.....

Yes it can play 1080p videos(with some glitch) and 720P videos smoothly .. native resolution does not matter ..it will downscale and adjust the pixels while playing. But if you compare the LG IPS display of LG G PRO LITE with other HD phones..you won't notice any difference while playing videos. The quality of LG IPS pannel is far better than local 720p display like that of MMX.

Yes it can play any video upto 1080x720p easily but for 1080p videos it may skip some frames... well keep yourself limited to 720p videos and the AWESOME LG IPS technology will make you happy in comparison to any of your friend's 720P display phones. Its quite similar to NOTE3 in terms of appearance and display if you don't dig into pixels by straining you eyes. Yes its anytime better than GALAXY GRAND 1.

The phone can play full HD files but the display is limited to qHD which means 960X540. Full HD = 1920x1080 and HD=1280x720. So in short...no you wont be watching Full HD videos on your G Pro Lite but it wont matter thanks to the awesome IPS display

long press dual sim touch button >>it open dual sim settings >> tick cost saving mode. now when you select a contact and touch dual sim touch button just before touching the call button your sim will switch and will be auto remembered by phone while you call that contact next time...enjoy the lg smart dual sim features :)

Does anyone know how to make Sim 1 or 2 receive only call and not make calling (as I have a Sim on roaming) the button for changing between Sim is very annoying as really it is not in a good place appreciate really any reply even with application or software which can do this. Thank you. Alamir

Xperia C does not have removable battery so that choice is not there for you... between Grand 2 and LG G pro lite you should buy LG G PRO lite if you don't want to play high end 3d games.

Call Quality: Exceptionally good and loud 3G speed: Awesome 2G Speed: Average ANTUTU: 8600+ (But smoother than Galaxy S4 in terms of interface and UI-as per Tech Gurus and Experts). For me its as smooth as Nokia 1050 in daily usage. Games: NFS HOT PURSUIT, TEMPLE RUN OZ, RIPTIDE2 ..all playable in good gfx and without a glich.

This phone is worth its money....i bought this phone about a month ago and am lovin it as i get to learn many things evry day...initially i had issues with 3g as it was very slow reason being i inserted 3g sim in sim 2 slot....i got it fixed with my experiments few days ago by myself...i inserted the 3g sim in sim 1 slot....now the speed is amazing...few disadvantages in this phone are cannot output to tv and outdated android version, in low light camera not taking best picsand cannot play fhd videos......but wat i liked about this phone the most is its big ips display, screen size n phone's look....sound quality both speakers n ear phones and gaming....this phone never hangs...not to forget great battery backup....

I am also LG G PRO LITE DUAL D686 user and I am using stock keyboard with OPTIMUS theme... If you are not getting what I have described than you need to go and check keyboard settings of yours and customize the same.... GO TO: SETTINGS>>LANGUAGE & INPUT>>LG KEYBOARD(touch the SETTINGS icon beside that)>>CHECK HANDWRITING option. NOW go back and use your LG keyboard>>LONG PRESS settings button that is next to space-bar and select stylus icon.... now use as I had described last time about using the stylus mode. HOPE IT HELPS YOU TO GET FAMILIAR WITH ANDROID SETTINGS AND OS USAGE .

FOR INTERNET PROBLEMS: 1. Only trust Airtel, Vodaphone OR Idea for 2G. 2. Don't complain for speed if you are using other service providers with 2G connection as they are incredibly bad on BIG SIZE PHONES OR TABLETS. 3. FOR 2G ONLY AND ONLY USE OPERA MINI. Its always faster than CHROME/UC BROWSER on 2G. 4. IF YOU CAN AFFORD 3G than you will enjoy browsing on this phone with OPERA MOBILE browser. (MARK IT.. OPERA MOBILE NOT OPERA MINI for 3G users.) I WAS USING DOCOMO and RELIANCE 2G on this phone and it slow as hell even to browse anything.. NOW I am using IDEA and VODAFONE...Now its an enjoyable experience to browse with my LG G PRO LITE D686 24x7 :D

Boss im facing problem in wi fi. Wen i keep my phone on stand by mode wi fi get sleep auto. Even in settings its always on. Everytime iv to shutdown wifi n start again. In stand by mode it doesnt work
