Have this phone, very advanced for it's time, fast and reliable, untill it no longer charges, many of this model had this problem, batteries don't last and are hellishly expensive, agents only!!! otherwise, nice phone, still use mine and it is still faster downloading than any other phone i've seen.

Hi there I would not recommend you buy this phone. I've had mine for only 3 days & the battery needs charging after only an hour. Also, the external music keys on this handset don't work & can't find a manual in the english language. DON'T GET ONE

Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing this phone!! Like other users of this LG the battery doesn't last for more than an hour then has to be recharged again - I'M SICK OF IT!!

For God's sake can LG do something about this phone, there is no support for it at all. Getting a PC Sync as well as the internet kit is a whole lot of war. Besides running java apps like operamini is not possible on mine. If anyone has any useful tip pls forward it to [email protected]

I am using 2 GB microsd. It works fine. No problem with that. Only with the battery. I have been using it for a year now. The battery does not stay for more than a few minutes. I took it to fix and when I got it back it still wasn't working so I took it to fix again. Still waiting for the results. Cheers..

Ive been using the phone for almost a year.I have no complaints what so ever about it.Bluetooth works perfect because i know how to use it.I have mxit on because i know how to download it.Its one of the best phones of LG!!!!

Re-format any memory card with the phone using FAT16 as FAT32 and other do not work with the it accoreding to the phone's manual.

The weakest part on this phone is the battery. It last for less then a year en the LG did not give any service at all. I never buy LG again.

hi guys!.its quite a lovely fone!had thought it was gonna be like my first lg fone that made my friends laugh at me every tyme they saw me with it.installed the pc suite and connected it to my pc and am browsing with no problems.the most interesting this is the GPRS speed!very FAST!i advise you guys to go get one as you wont regret doing that.at all,you wont.

I boughtthe phone a few months ago and from day one the battery has given me nothing but hell!!! I couldn't get the correct version of mxit, but have downloaded almost every other version, and can't get it to work properly, it seems to work but displays "reconnetting" every few minutes

this phone is cool but the battery is a disaster ,when browsing it takes just about 2 hours for it to be finishedmand having made no calls.i think im gonna sell it coz i can't be carrying a charger to work everyday!!!

The batery life spam should be encreased from the 3 or 4 hours to 6 to 8 hours without charge and the hand set would be the super best.

This phone seems to be doing what needs to be done, play videos,MP3's,make video calls...etc. Everything is all good, but the one problem which frustrates me the most is. While playing games on it, its not possible to suspend that game by pressing the menu short-cut key(or holding it in). That only seems to work with everything else (suspending the web browser or music). Now i don't know if its just my phone, because i don't know anybody else with this phone. So is there a way to suspend the games????

Hi all I got this phone bluetooth is definitly a problem otherwise it is very nice. I also have an english manual. Firstly u can set mp3 as a ringtone, or message as well as a 3gp ringtone as previously mentioned. Also when you watch a 3gp video pause the video and you can capture a picture off the video.very very coll. my bluetooth works fine but it does not stream the music audio via my bluetooth headset. Any solution??? if not i'll have to take it for a service.

It's a good phone for it's price, definetely! But however, it doesn't support a 2 gb memory card, I bought one and it only fills 1 gb of it... So don't buy yourself a 2 gb card for it. The camera is pretty good, but doesn't have flash. If there is enough light, then you can make very good photo's which you can use as a wallpaper on your computer without noticing the actual pixels. The videocamera however isn't that good, so you better only take pictures with it if you want good quality. The mp3 is pretty cool and the speakers are good, you can put the volume pretty high. Sometimes, if you have filled your memory card to 1 gb, your gsm is becoming a bit slow, but I don't think that's a reason not to buy this phone, it's a really good one...

Nice phone and everything works except games seems to be a problem. When I send a game (the site I downloaded it from says it's compatible with this kind of phone) over bluetooth to the phone and want to start the game it always says 'this operation is not permited'. Is there somekind of game-lock on this phone ? I heard stories from other LG phones about that...

Terrible problems with its bluetooth. It seems that it needs to be restarted and devices need to be re-paired again after the restart in order for it to work. If at all... Anyone found a solution?

it's a very good phone.i like the big screen and the resolution.it has 30mb internal memory and you can put 1 Giga external micro sd.i can watch widescreen videos,listen to music, edit pictures, use videos as ringtones and its 3g with a rolling camera.it's very cheap for the thing it does.i am very satisfied!!

Yes it is true that is the only problem i found with this phone, the batterylife on it was not that good, i have now swapped this to the new lg prada and although the batterlife is better on it i miss some of the features that this phone had.

I have bought one, you can use MP3, MP4, M4A, AAC, MID, DCF and even a 3GP video as ringtone. If the person calling you doesn't have a picture the 3GP video is played in the outside screen.

When will LG listen to you & I, guess never but we are the people buying there phones. The best phone they made was U8380 (flip phone) I just got offered a free Motorola raz a good loking phone but No where as good as LG U8380. I can't record voices on Motorola while on the phone. 8380 Its great when you havent got a pen & paper, Simply record phone or address. To edit photos its easy, When multi messaging 8380 better. The list goes on & on. LG i know why you don't listen to the public. You need to improve the look of your phones your going off the rails with the last 5 phones you brought out. A concern consumer.
