I had this phone long time ago but the looks still can't be matched, two stero speakers in the front with a little display of the tracks playing, the callers pic/num, camera screen(for selfie). All i can say is this was an amazing design and worked really well. The camera clearity was muh better than many phone's which were there, back then and not to mention the inbuilt game which I enjoyed a lot, I'm still looking if I can have a new one.

never buy lg product otherwise you will waste ur money. so many s/w flaws,disgusting features,you cant play songs directly from your memory card but first you have to copy to phone memory and then use it as ringtone,wallpaper.battery back up is very poor.s/w is poor,has problems with bluetooth sometimes it connect sometimes not.only support very few file formats.overall rating should be only 2 and thats for its camera resolution,sound quality,screen resolution but without good s/w and battery back up its of no use,

Its total wastage of money. Dont buy LG. My camera went down just using 1 month. The warranty center is very ill supported. Tey could not fix it anyway. And the battery life sucks man. only 4-5 hour standby and 20 mins talktime.. no more LG phone.

I have also had this phone for eons.... this has to be the greatest cellphone I have ever had. Only a selected few can say such words. Anyways... it rocks!!! but I'm gooing to get a Nokia 5310 soon because 1: I deserve a new phone. 2: It resembles the infamous LG M4410!!.... kinda. Hi, I've had this phone for a long time now. The only problem is that the battery life is not what it once was but it's probably because of the abuse it's been through. Other than that the mp3 player is incredibly loud, and the bluetooth works great. Also, compared to any other phone i've had this one has the best durability. I accidentally dropped it three stories on to a cement floor and all it got was a little scratch.

I have this phone. The bluetooth works properly. You can get memory cards that have a lot of memory, I have 1gig. It is a music phone not a video phone. The cd works on windows XP and vista. You can connect to the internet easily.

few probs i picked up are; 1. When the phone is turned off some of the settings are lost/reset, like delivery reports. 2. the manual is bonk, obviously directly translated from the original. To me taking photos for address book profile pics was not obvious, took playing around to get it. 3. Internal memory is on the low side, manufacturers don't want to spend a cent more than they have to. 4. The phone could do with a resizing option for photos, take a photo on high res and try and send it, you cannot and often have to retake the photo on a lower res. 5. Sending (MMS, bluetooth)from the memory card can't seem to be done. 6. The bluetooth is not Bluetooth, LG bought a cheaper chip. 7. No Sound on movie clips. 8. Limited viewing ability on viewing clips sent to the phone. 9. no Spaeker option, yet great little stereo speakers. 10. The supplied usb cable, does not double as a recharger. Some great options are: 1. The torch has helped plenty in power outages.

i had this phone for a while, bcuse i liked the design, but im regret. its a waste of money, no java, no 3gp support, and my pc dont recognize this bluetooth. only supports sd carts up to 128mb. pros are good sound, sturdy desifn.

LG's M4410 is a mid level set delivering satisfactory perfomance in clarity , but it's battery is bad.It's another drawback is that it does not have FM.It drinks a lot of power .The set hangs often .These should be rectified first.

Hi guys, the lg M4410 does its video recording in a format which is .lmj you can see this if you transfer your videos to a pc the video format will say .lmj and i am not able to play these movies on the pc tried some good media players but it still does not play on pc, if can find any software to convert the videos into .lmj format maybe the might be able to play them, hey if find any such software that coverts videos into .lmj then please email me at [email protected]

the mobile doesn't support the video and there is a option of silent movie but we cant acces that thing also. my opinion is only upto that level but my suggestion to the company to make it user friendly that it helps the people to understand or the evrything is best but if the company having a more technical persons than use the other operating system like symbian or some new that helps to support the softwares and make it easy to use. mostly the problems reveal because of not understanding the mobile use and thier availiability to how to use and download the softwares. please lg company be pay attention to this i m yhe user so i know the upcoming problems if u want to compete with other mobile phones make it like as people want it. thanking you

the battery life is pathetic, cannot speak for long without worrying about a dead battery! the pic quality is bad when not in direct sunlight, video quality is poor, the flash thingy is just a torch - doesnt help picture quality, has the tendency to hang in mid operation... bluetooth is okayish... no speaker phone, no fm, voice recording is limited.... looks are stunning (maybe the only saving grace)

the fone is just ok..so big deal about this..no speaker phone..battery life is not good..supports only max of 128M external card..cannot play video files..the music phone as it is said is no good for the poor memory it supprots !!!! In 128 MB u can store maximum of 25 songs!!!! and it does not play any other format tham MP3.. more so..u cannot install softwares likes in Nokia..i cannot figure out how t install games on the phone from PC.....pl can any body help me for that!!! one good thing is that bluetooth headset came free with the phone.... over all - not a phone to go for ..u have better options (Nokia & Sony Ericsson)available in the market for the same price..

LGM4410 really one of the most wondering when I bought I thougt lot of option with gud price but now I feel Am really fool to buy this phone .... often hangs.. not more than 5 min I cannot talk continious... where is the speaker to talk.... not able to take continious video... non supportable in other foramt of video player..... worst worst worst of all phone...... Well Abhinav when you pair a mobile to any other mobile irrespective of any brands what you are doing is in theory u are just allowing and assigning the other mobile phone as a known and trusted device so that it does not ask your permission for receiving any data from other mobile phone, in sonyericsson or nokia and even in lg mobile u can send data without pairing it but the cell will ask for your permission first but in the LG M4410 sometimes the bluetooth does not send or receive data as it normally should without paring this is why is suggested pairing because in my lg mobile the bluetooth works only if paired...

I have one more problem and that is, whenever i want to share something with someone else( other phone), i need to do the pairing while the other phone doesn't needs pairing for sending small files. so the question is : whether i am the only person who transfers files after pairing or even nokia and sony phones use the same mechanism of pairing before sending any file??

Sridevi first install the lg mobile agent and then the drivers required for the mobile if the drivers are not installed on the pc then the mobile will not be detected any pc will say new hardware found. for more information email me at [email protected]

Sridevi u first have to install the lg mobile agent on your pc, after the installation the mobile to the pc via usb cable, if pc says unknown or new hardware connected then u have the install the drivers for the lg mobile given in the cd u can do so by selecting install automatically by giving the path as the lg cd in the found new hardware wizard that will popup when the drivers are not installed after installation, the phone should be detected.. Or shutdown & restart the pc it will start working. If you face any other problem or the thing does not work email me at [email protected] with the complete details of the problem or error ill surely help you out.

AMAL you need to take a photo first in the contact size in cell photo by selecting the resolution to contacts only then will u be ablw to save them in the contacts otherwise you wont be able to save any other type of photo in teh contacts list

hey gladstone there is no such thing as a blue tooth code or as such,what you are doing is that you are trying to pair the device with some other device u can try to put 1234 in the lg and the same 1234 in the other mobile or computer and u can set it as authorised so that it doesnt ask u for the code again and again

abhinav u can try to pair the device to any other cell phone or computer and try set the computer or the cell fone from where u are getting things transfered as authorised and make sure u are on the standby screen to receive anything or u wont be able to receive anything if your are in the gallery or somewhere else

with the bluetooth you will be able to transfer the images but u need to connect the datacable to transfer songs in it you try to install the drivers fronm the cd and then if if have any problems or u can borrow someones cd also the u can only receive =images or songs from any other cellphone but no app should be open while doing so or else it will say cant send to lg so press the red key to get out of the app if any and u must be on your wallpaper in standby mode ' also u can use any card recder to write songs or image on the celll

I cant get all the settings on my phone, as it is not listed and available in south africa, yet they sell it to people, even they know they dont have all the software for this phone in south africa. i am dissapointed and would never buy a LG phone ever in my life again. I would just like to say that i do not own a LG M4410 or its north american version the LG CE500 but i was thinking about getting one, i must say the reviews are so veried i'm guessing it may be because the slightly different features from the europian (M4410) and the north american (CE500) phone getting mixed up. although that wouldn't explain why some phones seem to work just fine giving no problems and others have every problem you can think of. Its like something went wrong on the assembly line causing half of the phones to mess up while the otherhalf work fine only being flawed by the things overlooked in the original design. If i were to get this phone it would have to be under the condition of a freebie (at least i would know I didn't spend anything if it messes up on me) or if not that just be so rich i can afford to buy the phone and not care if it messes up and has to useed a paper weight (hey most celebs waste money on over priced products as it is if you want add this phone to the list) i'll just buy an LG Chocolate instead

I havent been on here to read reviews of my phone, and I wish I had before I got it. I have had my phone for a few months over a year, and think it was the worst mistake ever! First of all, the 8MB internal memory is tiny! BUT if you have something on your external you want to send via bluetooth, you need to transfer it to the internal (taking a few minutes for a few MBs) and then send it. On top of this, this 'phone does not support vbr' so many songs you cant even put onto the song. The video has no sound, and is only a maximim of 1 minute, the voice recording is only 30 seconds... The quality is crap! The 1.3mp camera is also crap. My sister has an LG through 3 here in Australia, and it is much better quality then an LG that you buy normally! My friend unfortunately liked it and bought it too, only to find his camera quality is better then mine. How can their be so many differences? Sometimes the bluetooth wont work, ie it detects them, but you cant send anything to them, for some reason. The themes are crap, and the sounds are of a car. Very few things you can modify, and change to ones liking. I will never buy an LG phone again. And if you are considering buying this one in particular, I strongly reccommend against it, unless you want something that is stuffed up when you buy it. Read my comments above again, it WILL happen to you... NEVER AGAIN!

Not a good phone if you r savy about features and file transfers(mp3, games etc). Cannot detect most of nokia phones on bluetooth. Very important drawback...IT CANNOT INSTALL NEW JAVA GAMES OR APPLICATIONS ... as mobile supports only audio and image files transfers !!

Cons: Bluetooth not compatible with all phones, 20 sec video(silent) recording, cannot play any downloaded video clips, no continuous outer display, no softwares can installed (not even java files)

the reason the battery goes down so fast is when you play games or music or use bluetooth it makes it go down faster, and it really does if you leave your bluetooth on.

lg m4410 is one of the worst phone i had ever seen, just waist of money, the movie file extn is different. neighter u can play other clips on this set nor the clips u have taken can be plyed on system. 20 secs clips that to without sound. network connectivity is poor. voice recording quality is poor. I would not recommend this phone to anyone even if it is given free of cost. customer service is very poor.

A total waste of money. Visit the site of lgmobile.com, you find a black screen. No support from dealers or service agents. useless software cannot connect to the computer. you cant store the phone nos on the memory card. very poor internal memory for phones.cant play normal video clippings. i tried for the first and last time

I have been able to get the phone to connect to the pc via USB as well as the bluetooth. I have no problems in downloading or uploading mp3 and photos by either method. But the photos go to the pictures folder (small size). Regarding games, I got a .jar game to reach the phone via bluetooth but it got stored in the 'others' folder in "My Stuff" and I cannot push it to the games folder. So what do I do now?

I'm now convinced I'm a real looser. It all started when I bought a Sony Betamax VCR - was told it is the greatest, bit its support died out along with the product. Then I bought an Atari ST instead of a PC - It to died out through lack of support. Then I bought a Sega Dreamcast - It was another superior product, and died out from redundancy. Then I bought a nintendo Gamecube - superior console, crap support and probably will die. Now comes the LG M4410, awsome JAVA and Graphics, six months later - NO GAMES TO DOWNLOAD - NO SUPPORT - I'm SUCH A FRIGGEN LOOSER!!!! PS the moral of the story, stick to the popular tried and true brands (not LG)and become a winner.

i just bought a lg 4410. i really recomand you the nokia 6230i because on lg: -you can make movies only for 20sec. and without sound -you can't transffer mp3s that have more then 192bit rate -you can't upgrade your memory more then 512mb -photo qualaty is worst on lg -you can't use the loud speaker(when you talk) I'm sure i forot something but i'm also sure that nokia 6230i is better then lg.

I found that the mobile comes with 64mb of minisd card and what is the maximum size i can add as an external memory to it.some one says thats only 128 mb in the shop they say its 512mb and in a review i read its 1Gb. I bought this phone in Thailand and it's known as LG G262. I also have a trouble connecting to PC. The problem varies with each PC or laptop, i mean some PCs detected it as "unknown USB device" some seemed to know this phone but cannot transfer files at all, after all i cannot transfer files no matter which PC i tried. well..i was blown over by the design of the phone but..when i got my hands on it i had already made the payment...its a huge set and heavy..it has quite a few bugs..the vdo recording is silent and doesnt go above 20 seconds. message storage is just 250. doesnt have a speakerphone..no infrared. no radio..although the camera is real good and the mp3 player is also good.overall i would not recommend this phone to anybody else..

I have the same problem as the most of the people here have had. I can't seem to get my USB-cable to connect with the computer. Hi Dudes, Somebody is telling they are not able to connect this phone via usb. its wrong I don't have any problem with usb and the software supplied by LG I have saved nearly 10 mp3 songs in my phone and enjoying the quality and also am using my bluetooth the clarity is wonderful. i am fully satisfied with the accessories supplied by this product with free of cost. I felt betrayed after buying the phone ! this phone has got such a beautiful Mp3 player but supports only upto 128 MB of memory which hasn't specified in anywhere by LG electronics except in the user mannual inside ! That is, you get to know that only after breaking the seal! this is ridiculous ! I bought this phone just enticed by its high end Mp3 player, but really dissapointed with its memory capacity which makes it almost useless as a mp3 player.

I got this phone couple of weeks back and till now I have a mixed feeling about this piece. Plus points are 1. Awesome Design (really nice exteriors - does look like a car) 2. Awesome MP3 playback 3. Great camera resolution for pictures (lacks a little bit on sharpness of images) 4. Good display in both Main and Front LCDs. Negetives - 1. Till date, I am not able to connect the Bluetooth Headset with my phone. Tried the same headset with T610. Did not work with that either. 2. Video recording of just 20secs. This is really ridiculous. I am not able to understand the reason behind this, specially when we have a SD card. 3. Typing messages with T9 is very cumbersome. 4. Not yet able to figure out how to install Java apps. 5. Not able to add photos to contacts. Trivia - This one is for all those people who are not able to connect their phone to the PC using USB cable. I had the same problem. The phone was getting detected by Windows XP. But, the LG Software was not detecting it. I tried re-installing the software and drivers numerous times but all in vain. Then i contacted the LG support guys. They asked to change the SIM and then try. Initially, i was pretty astonished on how a phone getting detected depends on the SIM card. But then i thought what's there to try. And when I did, the software did recognize the phone and i was able to download and upload stuff to my phone.

Add this to the list of shortcomings: * Bluetooth Headset supplied with this handset could not be detected by this phone, while my N-Gage QD detects it in a jiffy * Phone-PC software doesn't work. While the phone is detected, XP spews out a "unrecognized hardware" dialog What's worse is that LG's support site is not comprehensive enough besides, the .inf files for XP are not available anywhere on the web :( * After all this, I really doubt if this phone supports GPRS-EDGE. This is like going back in evolution :) This is a Wrong phone if you expect it to behave like a Nokia.

Impulsively purchased this phone and ended up disappointed after getting to know the features...or the lack of it. The only outstanding features are its sound, with dual speakers and MP3 playback with playlists and Camera. It cannot even get close to Nokia when it comes to performance. I had an NGage QD before, that used to be a tad slow but it run symbian which allows you to multi-task, switching between applications just like you do in windows. M4410 doesn't record videos with sound, which I thought was ridiculous with such a good camera. Front LCD shuts off in 60 seconds which defies the whole purpose of having it in first place! I couldn't figure out a way to install java apps (.jar) which most phones in this class support. Usability: s*u*c*k*s bigtime! For instance, T9 is so much more easier with Sony, Nokia and Motorola. Nokia is the undisputed when it comes to usability. Don't be fooled by the competitive pricing, you only get what you pay for. This phone is a wannabe Nokia!

I bought this phone because of its great looks - Inspired by Porshce - looks like a streamlined F1 Race Car ! also - I was taken in by the offer of Freebies with it - Bluetooth kit, free 64 Mb SD card, hands free kit etc. However I am a bit dissapointed in this phonne in terms of features. Pros - large crisp screen. Great mp3 playing out of the speaker phone. Good video quality. Easy to handle. Caller id with image attached.(main screen) LARGE numbers diplay. Great Layout of keyboard/controls It does NOT have a speaker phone (confirmed). MP3 can be played thru the speaker, but you cannot use the speaker for 'hands free' mode. The front display is very small - The contacts image does not show up in the front screen , it shows up only in the Main screen - as a result if you set your phone to answer on open the flip - you can never 'see' who is calling ! Cannot set mp3 as a ringtone. Only the 2 delivered mp3 tracks can be set as ringtone. Only mid or mft ringtone files supported. Video format is a totally unknown lmj format other formats NOT supported (hence you can't play 3gp files or share your video with other make phones). Does NOT have FM radio. Any image cannot be uused as a image for contact - it has to be a image of specific size taken from the camer itself. All in all a good value for the money (Rs 12K) but for some one looking for all the features I would suggest go for Nokia 6111 which is just Rs 2,000 more !

Lots of probs... ->No IR Only 20 Sec Video recording,that too without sound ->Slow ->No continuous display on front screen ->No OS, so, no applications can be downloaded ->Even game download from LG site doesn't work! ->No composer or picture editor as in similar range models of other companies ->Bad menu for the front screen ->Shortcut keys doesn't work often ->Bad software provided in the cd that comes with the mobile... ->Relatively unknown video format is used(.lmj).This can be played only in the player that they provide with in the cd and so videos cannot be shared. ->Cannot play any other mobile video formats (3gp) ->Even sound can be recorded only for 1 minute max... ->Display quality of front screen is very poor... ->No loud speaker and many more....

Hmm, Haven fiddled with the MP3 stuff, didnt really want any of that. But I have seen menu options where you can assign an MP3 track as the ring tone and have seen menu options to assign people from address book to a ring tone group. What I havent found is how to assign an MP3 to a group. USB works fine for me. Not interested in downloading Java so cant comment there either. Cheers

I'm currently using this LG M4410 / G262. Everything is OK, but i'm disappointed with it MP3 Player. The sound quality is not good at all. You can't compare with SE K750i or even its close competitor, the E-730. Also this phone is very slow indeed.

I bought the LG 4410 and am reasonably happy with it. My main priority was a phone which looks nice and has a good camera. Things I have come to disslike about are: 1- MP3 buttons on front of phone are too easy too press, keep getting activated in my pocket 2- ph numbers are way too big on the display. I feel like a kid in primaery school, you can only fit 6 characters across then it scrolls to the next line. Yuck !! 3- The front display switches off completely after 30 sec or so, really annoying to have to open the phone to see if you have a message 4- I use the voice recorder a lot and a button on the outside would have been nice to activate this. (My old Motorolla T720 had this)

Yesterday I bought the LG M4410, and I think it is great! The quality of the camera is amazing at 1.3 mega pixels. I did find the �sound effects� quite annoying, as it is a car horn etc, every time you clicked something. I have since turned the sounds off! Bluetooth is pretty cool, as well as the screen. Massive screen! I love it! I don�t know, but maybe I haven�t played with it enough, but when I want to play an mp3 from the external memory through the mp3 button on the front, it doesn�t find them � only the ones on the internal memory, but maybe I need to fiddle around with the settings� All over, I really like it. I think it could do with a FM radio, and it could be a bit more customisable (ie � the front lcd time is a bit too big, and when you enter in numbers to call, they are MASSIVE) - if you know how to configure that, please reply. not to happy about LG as a phone maker. had alot of problems with the C1100, F2100 ect. it will be interesting to see if this phone is any better but i'm not holding my breath. the lack of a load speaker is very dissappointing. every phone should have a load speaker as a standard feature. i'll have to wait until it comes out in oz before i will make any further comment.

Cool black design. LG is coming out with good designs while samsung seems to follow the footsteps of the E700. But overall, both brands are worth considering.

lg m4410 is better than samsung z500,,e730 lg m4410 have camera 1.3 MP, 1280x960 pixels, while samsung z500 have camera 1MP, 1096x768 pixels and samsung E730 have camera 1.3 MP, 1280x1024 pixels and samsung E730 have no card solt only 96mb memory that is not enough but lg m4410 have Card slot miniSD and lg m4410 have great design better than samsung z500,,E730 so lg m4410 better than samsung z500,,E730

LG M4410 is one of the best, i would consider to buy one. Curently using T5100. The only 1 reason to buy is because the easy to use functions. Well Done LG!

lol.. wut a noob. LG in GSM phone cannot compete Samsung. LG's CDMA phones are ok (but still not as good as Samsung's CDMA phones) but in when it comes to GSM.. LG sux. I don't know what you're talking about. And Samsung is known for having the strongest well built phones. (there's even a story that a 1t truck stepped on the phone and the person thought it was broken but it still worked)

LOL who said it is better than Samsung??? LG in GSM market is not doing as good as Samsung. Take a look at the screen resolution... Samsung D600 (out in August) has QVGA screen, better camera (2 MP), and the best video quality(out of any brand).

Ash, it was "inspired" by Porsche; not designed by them. If you read my comment below -you cannot compare a phone that as yet does not exist with current models. By the time this is available, Samsung will be one step ahead, on top of which the only noticable technical difference between this and the currently available Samsung E730 is an expandable memory slot.
