Hi friend. I have a nice solution for you. What you need to do is remove the battery and insert it back . wait for 10 to 15 seconds. press the right and left arrow sign and also the power button simultaneously until you get to see the formatting release the buttons and wait for the magic.

My O2 XDA Stealth set is not able to connect to the any Network(ex: delhi vodafone service provider), neither automatically nor manually. Even though i try to connect it manually and try to chose vodafone network, no success :-( . I have tried to reformat it pressing reset button by stylus. Can anyone please suggest what i need to do.

You have to reformat it again by pressing by using the stylus pen through the small hole at the right of the PDA and also in one short by pressing the OK button on your right and the sign of microsoft at the left on you. Then leave up the stylus pen out of the hole then until the sign yellow colour words appear on the skrin then you pull out your hands from pressing the OK and the sign button of microsoft. Then you just leave it untill the formatting process is finished.

Your Wi-Fi is missing right, a solution is try checking whether u r functioning multi task (Such as while activating the Wi-Fi, did u accidentally activated the Infrared or bluetooth, b'coz it can intermediate the phone to communicate to th right mean u need. thank U

I wonder why everyone keeps complaining about the battery backup of the phone I have been using the same for about more than a year and battery runs for about 2 days what do u expect out of a phone which comes with a 416Mhz processor. Yes it hangs sometimes(no offense.. because it runs on windows) but one need to figure out a way to tackle it. Phone overall is good.. u just need to know all the features and some tricks

I have had the Stealth now for about 9 months, of which I have been able to use for little more than 2. Why? Because the phone would hang, it has the worst Windows and dialpad combo (which was a first on this phone). It doesn't shutdown, neither does it start. well, after refering toward all comments bout it, i finally have mine too.. yes i have an o2 stealth fixed with windows mobile 6.1..this upgrade made my phone even faster can approximately last for 2-3 days which is able to compare to a N95.well what softwares do u expect to have in it? Bible? Full dictionaries which many versions(oxford,american learner,chi-eng,bm??) , or skype or rather to have most of the computer software to be in this pda?Not a big deal, friends.The SRS WOW sound system flabulously increases the phone volume and the beautiful musics for music lovers..what else? oh ya, the dict i m having is about 40Mb ya the file, imagine its not hanging compared to my last Nokia 6600, Nokia N80 or SE P990i.. so dont worry trust me. anything email me cheerful to help [email protected]

This phone is great but for those highly useage it will cause lagging or hang but for me is great. this phone 1 minor problem for is went ans call, it slow down 0.8 second went ans call, mean me press ans but me only can talk after 0.8 second. the wifi is great support g and b, this phone even can help congfigure wifi router. the last problem for me is the slide ribbon, like normal slide n flip phone always ribbon problem but me hope my won't cause this problem. This phone sometimes will hang but but after realise the ability it can go, me stay with below it ability it can go, so it cannot hang or lagging, sometime we need understand our phone power or ability it can go so we can use 100% of phone function. This Phone 4.5/5

I upgrade d software and put some applications too and it works very well...if u have problem with youre keypad that types numeric just go to messages tap the keyboard icon then you will see a litle triangle there tap and select eZitext then the asterisk sign on the keypad then choose multi tap. from there u can use ur keypad like any other celphone.....

the phone is pretty good.. battery lasts for about 2-3 days.. which is good enough.. (after getting a ROM upgrade) camera video quality is not that good because it wastes time in focussing.. (damn the auto focus feature though it looks cool when it auto focuses) stylus is rubbish.. use fingers instead.. it would be much more easier.. and try using all the features otherwise u'll get fed up of the phone.. i give 9/10

hi i just bought a second hand o2 stealth, i dont regret buying it. overall i think it is a great phone, but if u are always on the run the battery life kind of sucks. it lags when u are running over 5 things. yes the camera sucks, but if ur looking for good camera phone get n95 , etc. anyways the phone runs perfectly fine for me its just once in a while it lags. if you are a really busy person and will rely on this phone, i wont recommend it to you. if it is for checking email, surfing the net, staying organise, etc.

mate, sorry to hear of the last posters situation. Ive just gotten my 4 month old O2 back (it took a number of weeks to get it to service coz i was busy with work and had a backup phone).. speakers replaced, RF main board, all software done .. but forget to tell them that was on my list ..the screen is loose! be interesting to see how long the newly repaired phone will last me. After all .. the atom exec i had .. packed it in early in the piece.

I bought this phone in March this year and I don't have 1 problem with it. I have a lot of problems!!! The keypad suck cause it so flat, it just goes coming with the wrong key press. The backlit just does not listen to your settings. When it reset, it will not boot, I have to remove the battery and reinsert it before it can reboot. AHhhh!!! I have to get rid of it for 50% lose~~~!!! :'(

Hi. I bought my Stealth in May 2007 from StarHub Singapore. Just thought I'd voice my comments about this phone and its service centre in my home country. The phone is quite good in terms of functionality. It plays WMV and MP4. It does get laggy with Advanced Simple Profile. Will test H.264 in a while. However, my main gripe with it is that its screen merely dims after receiving sms-es. I have asked for support from the O2 helpdesk. Their response was a no-brainer: Telling me to tweak the settings for backlight (e.g. turning backlight off after 5 secs of inactivity). Sometimes, I'd receive an sms in the middle of the night, and when I awake the next day, the battery levels are already dangerously low. My workaround is to turn off the phone carrier (StarHub) before I sleep. Simply put, it is no longer a phone but my PDA/ alarm clock at night. I resume Home Network the next morning. Another glaring thing to note about O2 is their technical support. In SG, the O2 Helpline is manned only by machines (I'm serious). They'd say "Dial 1 for XXX, Dial 2 for YYY". After repeated attempts, they would apologize that you've reached the time limit of the service call. I did as the machine instructed (awfully dumb of me). I headed down to Parco Bugis Junction to service my phone. Alas, the shopfloors (both units) have already been leased to other owners. Apparently, no one from O2 Singapore bothers about updating their contact details. I did manage to locate the servicing centre. It's near Jurong East Interchange, next to IMM building (CJ GLS Building #07-01). But their service standards were horrid. I had to wait in-queue for an hour. There were just 2 receptionists attending to the crowd. In the short hour I was there (afternoon of Dec 1st), I witnessed 3 complain cases. An affluent elderly man threatened the floor manager with a report to CASE. He raised his voice so loud that everyone present could not miss him. An Indian couple nearly bit the manager's head off as they ranted that it was their 4th visit to the centre (for the same problem.) The managers and receptionists like to come up with the excuse, �Mdm, since your phone is no longer under warranty, you would have to foot the full charges�. (But it was still under warranty during their first visit a month ago. Phone still had the same fault.) Another Chinese couple was made to wait. Simply to wait unendingly because the mysterious bespectacled technician in the backroom couldn't forecast a time he'd finish the repairs. No one on the shop floor was happy. Not even the staff. I feel that the service centre really needs a wake up call. O2 in Singapore does seem only to be interested in the customers when they purchase the handsets. You would realise that there was no way you could contact the servicing centre, except by taking a trip down to their offices. The receptionists were most unfriendly. There was a rather plump Chinese who simply could not care about the customers requests. She would slap you with a standard reply stating that "This or that cannot be done because it would not clear with the auditing team." "I would need to open a job case for your request. It is procedure." "I do not know when your phone will be ready. Only the technician will know." I fully understand their plight, as they are subject to audit like a regular company. But as a regular service-oriented company, they should also value the customers. (O2, are you listening? Maybe you should review the sub-contracting of your phone servicing to MDR.) I'm quite certain, my next phone will not be an O2. If it isn't obvious at this point in time, it's due to the after-sales support. Oh, and another thing. If I'm not mistaken, the phones that had issues belonged to the O2 XDA Flame. In fact, all O2 PDA phones have this problem. None of the customers knew that programs continued running in the background even when they are closed. They can only be closed by accessing a menu that lists all running programs (WM5). With O2 Plus installed, there is a more rapid way to closing all running processes from the Today menu. The Stealth is a good phone. But my next phone would definitely not be from O2. Perhaps the touted Sony Ericsson P1i. Then again, MDR seems to service O2, BENQ-Siemens, and Sony Ericsson. Their servicing centres are also located at CJ GLS Building #07-01. I'm betting their customer services aren't that much different from O2's.

Friends, I have tried many windows mobile products from HP, O2 and Palm. Of all these PDA/Phones I would any time prefer palm. But however friends I would prefer Sony Ericsson and Nokia. PDA phones windows or palm, dont give you voice clarity, camera performance, stability, very very friendly user interface, one hand operation ( ease of use ), T9 sms writing, personal settings such as ringtones etc. You settle for speed and loose all the basics which you require the most in daily use. Think over it.

Hi, To reset the O2 Stealth press the �windows� key and �ok� key together, whilst keeping it pressed insert the stylus in the small hole just below the memory card slot, and keep all these buttons and stylus pressed for few seconds until the phone automatically restarts. NOTE: The phones battery must be more than 50% to do the hard reset. So don�t forget to charge the phone!!!!!!. Hope this helps.

Hello, I bought this one 2 weeks ago. I most wanted a mobile instead of a pc :) but at the end its not that bad. For now the thing i am not happy about is for writing msgs with Ezitext. Its not that helpful, i would prefer a program like the normal mobiles that dont have only dictionary..If there is someone out there who knows any more comfortable program pls let me know. Something else i noticed is that when i play java games, there is not a yes and no button like the normal mobiles. Is there a program that i can assign to whatever buttons i want do this? Until now am k with the XDA, no big probs for now :)

MEMORY HELP !! Hey people .. My stealth is perfectly for each n everything. I am just facing one problem. My Main Memory is continuously reducing. It reduces by like .2mb in every 5 minutes. At first use it is quit nice becoz is like carry a PC with u. Moreover there is built in wifi and can surf for free at any wifi point. The bad point is tat it hang whenever u need it the most...becoz u tends to press too fast & have to hard reset. Overall is ok lah, can consider but i sold it off after 2mth of usage due to negative many factors in this phone. E65 is still e best so far...

Hi, need help. Somehow the time shown on "Today" is in clock mode. I'd like to change this to the original setting, where it showed the time like this --> eg. 11:35am. I carry out the upgrade as told and it run successfully untill... it performs a restart but at the welcome screen, it never move on. I have an O2 XDA Stealth for 2 months now. I think overall it is a good pda phone. This is STILL a pda phone no matter what O2 says. So you better expect the pull down keypad to be for cosmetic reasons coz its of very minimal use. The sytlus is still needed for most actions. I am using this Stealth as my USB modem connected via USB and its fantastic!!

I had this O2 Stealth for over 6 months now. At first, I really find this PDA has nothing special but, after I upgraded the Rom and downloaded a few fun programme such as silde2unlock etc.....actually this PDA can do alots and fun.....I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10.

its just an "OK" kinda phone.. music sounds r quite low as compared to even older nikia models .. also sometimes it hangs up and does not start even on reboot :( windos ce 5.0 is boring too .. exterior plastic finish also looks kinda cheap material .

I have bought O2 XDA stealth in July 2005.I did not start using it but found that it was not switching on when i had switchd off. The battery was low in power and it got switched off completely and did not come back online (tried charging but its not charging,no LED indication with USB cord or the charger). I have sent it for repair but i still face the problem when it reaches me from the repair.They say its ok and battery is changed but when i get the set its not powering on or charging. In the new multitap function, there is still about .5 s lag when inputing the characters. So when you press 122333, instead of "aei" like ordinary phone, only "i" appears.. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? (Some suggest to use Phonepad though.. which i dont feel like using it)

this a warning to all those who are planning to buy o2 devices in the future! beware! I am from India. I was happy using O2 phones such as the XDA II and the Atom so I decided to go in for another. I purchased an O2 XDA Stealth on Feb 12th 2007 and had immediately regretted the decision as I started facing a hell lot of problems in the device. Almost after a month of correspondence with O2 they sent me a replacement handset. I was happy until i opened the new unit. It had the same problems and some new. Again after long talks with O2 (Mr Keanu) they sent me another replacement promising me that this would work but it did not. Naturally I was very angry and frustrated. At this stage I ahd lost all faith in the Stealth and demanded O2 to give me some other handset for all the inconvienience that I have faced . After a series of talks with O2 Singapore(Mr Keanu) I received an Atom Exec. But my problems worsened! After a couple of days the Exec "died" ie it would not charge. when the charger was connected it would show full battery and when disconnected it would switch off and not switch on for days. Highly annoyed and frustrated I began my talks again with O2 and at the same time bought the O2 Zinc. That was another error from my side as the Zinc also had problems. Its indicator LED malfunctioned and the microphone gave out static. Those were horrible times for me having two defective handsets. O2 finally agreed to replace both these handsets and they did. So I have already used 3 Stealths, 2 Atom Execs and 2 Zincs. That adds up to 7 O2 phones in about five and a half months!!! Well things dont end here. once again I am having problems with the Zinc such as the LED is malfunctioning, the speaker switches on automatically when a call is made, the speaker dies out, screen freezes..etc.. So to all those who are planning on investing their money on an O2 device please do not as the quality of O2 devices is degrading day by day and is no longer dependable as it once upon a time was. if any of you want to know bout the problems i faced in these many devices please contact me on +919884414907

i had the same problem as zhiyang, that is i cannot turn the wi-fi on (the wireless manager wont let me do it) and the phone doesnt detect the SIM when i first turn it on. I also cant recieve text messages unless i do a soft reset, and then for only about 24 hours. I like the phone, but can anyone help me with the problems?? zhiyang, did you solve your problems?

Re Marc: you can only use .wav files as message alerts...you can convert the sound file using goldwave...hope it can answer your question

Recently made the decision to purchase the Stealth from StarHub. It's really a good phone, even though many have complained that screen is small, and that you can't sms with the numeric pad. So, here's my 2 cents' worth: The sliding cover feels a little flimsy, but nonetheless has a solid feel to it. Do not think that everything on the phone can only be opeated by the touch screen. The navigational wheel, MS Windows button and OK button help to lessen the number of times you have to touch the screen. The wifi works wonders. It's even able to log on to the internet via a proxy server. But the default mobile browser is weak. Wondering if I can find a program that functions like MS's Deepfish. As for the numeric keypad, do change and use the input method to EziText. You may do so by selecting the input method when you are in the screen for composing text message (SMS). EziText is not as simple to use as T9. However, it does have a function to add words to the dictionary. You have to add it in manually. Look it up under �Settings→ Input→ EziText→ Options�. Type as you would in T9, then when the desired word appears, use the navigational wheel to confirm it. Many thanks to the sales representative at the O2 booth (The PC Show 2007) for helping me on this. Do update the ROM to the latest version. Register the phone at O2's website and follow the instructions for the update. I've installed O2 Plus program. It's useful as it lets you see the programs running at any point in time. Also, when not in use, let the device enter �Standby mode� by gently depressing the on/off switch once. (I highly recommend using a password to secure the phone.) The battery seems to deplete rather quickly. Might be due to the 406MHz processor, and the large screen. Had to charge it every 2 days. My other main gripe about this phone is that EziText changes into Keyboard input whenever I power down the phone. I wonder if there's a way to set EziText as the default input method. The stylus feels fragile, but mine is still holding up. & whenever you make phone calls, the phone continues to take input from the touch screen, so try not to stick the phone too close to the face cheeks. Oh! And get a 2GB mini-SD card. SanDisk works wonders. Got mine for SGD28 from Sim Lim Sq (level 3). And get screen protection to minimize the number of scratches to the screen. I usually navigate around the �desktop� screen with my finger nails. Windows Mobile 5 works wonders. Although version 6 is out, there really isn't much of an improvement, so dun worry about using WM5. There probably wouldn't be an upgrade to WM6 for the Stealth. Out of 5, I give the Stealth 4.5. That's all for now. Will keep you posted as I continue to venture into the Stealth.

O2 XDA stealth camera is very dissapointing, although it has a 2MP cam, but it doens't have image stabilizer and the response time between the button and the shutter is damn late 6sec. The contacts cannot be copied from the sim card to the phone memory. And I don't see any functions of the numeric keypad, its useless. Physically it looks very stylish but in the inside it lacks a few things. the OS functions is simmilar to Windows XP, yet it still lacks on memory. You have to kill the program manually to save up RAM. overall, I think it sucks!

Its a pathetic phone. I have been using O2s for long time now. I have used Atom, Atom Exec and XDA Exec. I upgraded my phone from XDA Exec to Stealth and only found dissappointment. Stealth is the biggest dissappointment ever. The Screen Size is very small. It makes it difficult to tap work on the screen. The phone hangs a lot. One has to hard reset it very often. The other problem is messaging. It does not allow you to add any word to the dictionary. If you do not use eZiText feature for messaging through NumPad, you cannot work with Num Pad. to key in special words you need to change the input method from EziText to Keyboard or other formats that require you to necessarily work with the stylus only. I am planning to sell it off and get myself a better piece. O2 is not outting in efforts to look into the quality. They just want to mint money.

i'm quite dissapionted with stealt, i have save my money for months..and after i bought it..it has some feature that not quite good.. the camera focus, the speaker, the messenger (i cant sign in until now), the ezitext and the sync w/ my computer is always disconected within a short time but..the wifi was awesome and fas enough to browse in my campus and the windows media player... love it :) anyway, can i update my internet expoler in stealth? this is my first time using pda so i really dont know how to use it hehehe thx

it's so difficult to text using the ezitext. I originally had the previous ROM then i upgraded my phone by downloading the new ROM from O2 site... my unit now has a multi tap so you could text like using nokia or other brands but the big downfall is that you should wait for at least 3 seconds to encode 1 letter... camera is a little disappointing... the resolution of my samsung d600 2mp is far better than the stealth's.

Well BG, maybe no one here knows how to add words in eZiText, maybe there's no way you can add words in eZiText. You might just have to accept it as is. The best way to get your answer is to ask Support at O2 but you may have to wait a few weeks before you get your reply if at all.

I have a O2 Stealth and have been upset with the SMS functionality. Try to use the keypad sms function that has ezi text. Its ok but the software does not add new words.... CAN SOMEONE PLS HELP on how to add new words in the ezitext like in t9 dictionary

You can use the Ezitext like Samsung or Nokia Text. Predictabe or non-predictable English voccabulary. There are so much ROM for this Stealth. Or I bought Licensed ROM Windows Mobile 6.0 It works pretty well on this device. But battery is a small issue. You should get a higer battery.

Skiboo: You mean the Today font color? Then you need to make your own Today theme and you can choose whatever color font you want. Ducky: Yes to multitap question and Stealth has this function similar to T9 called eZiText. It works like T9 but harder to use. Nothing much to say about the new rom. Better than the old one that's for sure. Make sure you upgrade.

Sam, you need a 3rd party contact application like Inesoft Address Book. When you get a call, it shows a full screen contact picture, name and number. Moreover you can pick the font size for contact list to be as big as 36 pt. This application will make your life a lot easier. Believe me. Oh and I've just found another neat application "Zoom" It works like a magnifying glass. You move your stylus over the area you want to zoom. It's supposed to work in any application on your device. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how it works on Stealth. The application came out in 2004. I don't even know if it will work on WM5.

if all of u need to overcome some lags in the phone, try using an alternative software for this O2 stealth. not all default functions in the phone is good, some of the are useless.. Try tweaking the phone, and try using other software to run on the OS. somehow I managed to overcome some difficulties with the phone but after 2months of using it, i find that the phone lacks some parts in some fields. Yet, nokia N73 is better and well organized. the O2 do not have an organized memory for sms, contacts and many more. There are no options to store your contacts directly either in the phone memory, MiniSD or sim card. I had to do it manually... From phone to PC and from PC to phone, that is if u wanna move lots of contacts. Im goona buy a Nokia N73 or N77 or N95...

Does anyone know how to hide sim card contacts in Stealth? When a call comes in, the phone looks for the contact name on the sim card first and so the assigned picture won't show and the ring tone won't ring. I tried using filtering but it didn't work. Any tricks or tips or third party applications?

If you're buying a Stealth, make sure it's got a new rom installed. It should be RM061208. If not, download from O2 and upgrade it yourself. Although it's still a bit slow, it works much better overall with the new rom.

bought one last weekend. yes, keypad can be used for text messaging. no upgraded needed at all. Issues: it freezes sumtimes, stylus head can be easily ripped off... all in all, above average fone. :D

hey guys, i am using the stealth its been more than 3 month and yes it has some disadvantages such as the keypad, network performance, freezing sometimes, ect... Until i upgraded the ROM last week and till now its running perfectly. The Ezitext is upgraded, you can use it as the nokia phones by choosing the new multitab function. Its more faster and i always run GPRS and it never frozes or stops. My advice to you is to go to see02.com, find an upgrade from the region you purchased the phone and instal it. You will find a big difference...

Stealth is my 3rd O2. Had no problem with my former XDAs but with Stealth, too often being frozed. Most of time from phone operation. Rather annoyance. I hardly use bluetooth headphone, thus it often hang, unexpectedly turn on Wifi while in conversations, does not return to normal mode after unsuccessful calls. These never happened to my O2 S or Atom. Wondering if it's not suitable for high cheek bones that do not use headset! But then it never happened to my former O2! Appreciate any suggestions to correct the problem.

The ezitext aint any easy at all lol. I find using the handwritting recognition is quite fun ,so i use it for texting. The stealth is a fun little phone, i get quite a good deal for it, $430 shipped, so i say it worth the money

Now I Know

This is about the keypad that I thought was useless too. To type text using the keypad, first you have to select eZiText. Then on the keypad press and hold *abc/123 button and you'll see a pop-up on the screen with a choice of abc or 123. It should toggle between abc/123 when the button is pressed. But NO they had to make it complicated. Everytime you want to switch, you have to press and hold and choose then continue your texting. Man!

Asus P525 is better than O2 stealth, I switched to asus P525 cause it completes my needs , and the Bluetooth 2.0 s dandy . I don't need the useless 3G cause it's just a money eater, and just because 3G is trendy it does not mean it's good. Don't be 3G ZOMBIES!!! do you have a friend that has a 3G phone? and did you try video call with you friend???

O2 XDA stealth camera is very dissapointing, although it has a 2MP cam, but it doens't have image stabilizer and the response time between the button and the shutter is damn late 6sec. The contacts cannot be copied from the sim card to the phone memory. And I don't see any functions of the numeric keypad, its useless. Physically it looks very stylish but in the inside it lacks a few things. the OS functions is simmilar to Windows XP, yet it still lacks on memory. You have to kill the program manually to save up RAM. overall, I think it sucks!

hey there Hardik. I tested the 2GB MiniSD (kingston). Too bad it coudlnt work with this O2 stealth, it only works with a 1GB MiniSD. u said it can work with a 2GB miniSD. What kind of 2GB MiniSD brand u use? or do i need to upgrade this O2 stealth firmware in order fot it to support a 2GB miniSD?

hi ameenz.. try putting your 2GB miniSD card again then turn your stealth off then on again. that will solve your problem regarding the phone detecting the memory capacity but wasn't able to save file on it. hope this helps..

thanx for the comment. Last night I just bought the 2GB MiniSD, but it seems that the O2 detected the memory capacity but was unable to save file in it. I jack it into my computer with a card reader and try to format it but it seems like the card is damaged. I donno what happens but the MiniSD could not be readed. 2moro im taking it to the shop i just bought it. I hope its okay with the 2GB MiniSD...

I think this phone will do their part in asia (especially in my country,Indonesia) coz, we need a cheaper PDA-Phone, just like this with a "enough" features not throwing their costumer with features than we don't use. I'm sure we'll looking for phone that exact just what we need, so if you need a 3G or EDGE or something just looking for other phone, don't send useless comment, because it can make someone who wants to buy this phone confuse (Even they don't need it at all). So BUY WHAT YOU NEED, do not BUY WHAT MOST COMPLETE. For costumer in some ASIA (Especially indonesia) this one may fit to you, here some reason: 1. The absent of 3G won't be the problem!!! Yes there is some operator provide 3G service, but have you try it, it just really fast when they do promotions, even not do much better than GPRS!!! Even the price for 3G service still killing us!!! And the real point is DO YOU OFTEN USE IT? 2. The key pad will help many indonesian cost who want to try PDA. Because many of them to lazy to learn touch screen. They just buy phone from other brand that have same or even higher prise for nothing, it just phone with pseudo OS or even no OS at all!!! What are we pay for??? Came on indonesian people be smarter. 3. In indonesia O2 distributors do their costumer service pretty good. And finally good phone with enough features, enough price and fit to us. For people who looking for extra complete phone maybe can search for upcoming: HTC ATHENA.

The stealth phone is a loss of money with lot of problems, within 1 month after buying the phone have to send for repair 2 times. The first time wifi not working and if activate camera will show "out of memory". The repair centre in Singapore upgraded the software and replace the LCD screen "Dont know why they replace the LCD?". They put in a faulty LCD with on screen keyboard alignment out. The phone itself is faulty and the customer service also bad. Why O2 is not concerned about their customers and their reputation.

someone mentioned on having a multitap option on the Ezitext function, can someone tell me how? If i press and hold the star key on the dialing pad it shows an option to choose of symbols, english and 123...there is nothing such as multitap.

I was playing around to understand how wi-fi works on O2. I dont know what I did, now the wireless manager is not turning the wi-fi ON. And whenever I restart the O2, it asks for some Card's name as it mentions that there is an unknown card on the socket 2. I believe that I have deleted or altered the wireless card's info. Please update me on this...

i think it's great in design as well as functionalities. i used it for a month by now and quite satisfied with the keypad available. btw yes you can type sms by using keypad, here's how: create a new message, tap the triangle next to keyboard icon, select eZiText, tap-AND-HOLD the "a_/*" button (should be bottom left of screen), select "Multi-Tap". Now you can use keypad to type sms just like any other phones.

Just bought the phone last week and it has got major issues with it's "search" feature. I activesynced all my contacts of about 800 and when i want to do a search for example "microsoft" within the phone, it returns the results in 100 seconds. My dinosaur toshiba pda gives me results in 10 secs flat. Also when one is multitasking, be prepared to wait, wait, wait and wait.I only managed to hard reset it after the 3rd try and the set now is with the service centre. I lost productivity with this "stealth"

O2 guys seem to be schemeing against the consumers. They present phones which seem out of the world with the features and specifications but always have something crucial missing out which is perhaps introduced in the next release OR model. The Stealth for instant looks a perfect instrument especially with a key pad / windows 5.0 / touch screen / wifi / good memory n processor etc.... SO GUESS WHATS MISSING !!!! It does not even have EDGE leave alone 3G. You guys provide a phone with windows etc.. for surfing net and downloading emails and dont provide a basic NECESSITY like EDGE which are an absolute oxygen for high speed data tranfer required for surfing net and downloading emails. Its like buying a high tech BMW fitted with the engine of a scooter.. Most of the consumers would not realise this until they buy the phone and end up shedding tears later.. See the reviews of most of the buyers of the ATOM and we all will know. Either the O2 guys are mind bogglingly stupid OR A***H***s of the first type. Lets all call for a universal boycott for O2 phones !!

Attracted "Man In Black" I installed video player software, run Mission Impossible III and it run smoothly. I would recommend buy this gadget with 1GB storage memory. It just lack of 3G, but u still can utilize GPRS. the rest... so far so good.

O2 just gets worse by the day. The Stealth is ok in performance but as far as design, the thing just looks hideous! It is thick like a brick and the casing just looks cheap. It's a damn shame cos they use to make nice phones. Its the same for iMate. Whats wrong with them??!!

i just bought this phone for about 3days ago, for me o2 xda stealth is the best phone that i ever have. the advantages that i know from experiencing is : - a very good multitasking phone, - the wifi connection is working great, - the size and the design of the phone is rugged and nice, - a very fast and stable phone, for this 3days i havent crash the phone yet even i have install many programs and games for the phone, - the weight of the phone is quite light - can use one-handed style very smoothly after practicing about half and hour, -etc the disadvantages are : - the message ringtone only use polyphonic, - the camera is not impressive even its 2megapixels, - the battery power is not impressive, - price is quite expensive but totally worthy of the price. - etc

Bad service makes any product bad. In India the service of O2 is bad. Used O2 XdaII mini/Atom and finally shifted to HP iPaq 6828 due to better service network and replacement policy and software support because of HP being a computer company.

Come on O2! Stop bringing out crappy phones, ever since the Atom came out, O2 hasn't really been in the game. Give us 3G with HSDPA, a second video call camera, a 400MHz Samsung processor, 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM and you'll have a real winner in the Stealth. The slider design just rocks. Oh... and give us a good T9 system for a keypad (like Nokia's).
