LG Stylo 3 Plus - User Reviews

  • I bought my first Stylo 3 at the back in of last year (18 ), first problem to occurded was what was described as a screen inversion (The screen has a reverse negative look to it..., black, white and gray looking in color. Their is no user correction in steetings (Return to manufacture, or repair shop. My second issue with my first Stylo 3 was that the charging port would charge intermittently. A few weeks after this, (Jan) the repairman told me my mother board damaged or corrupted. So, I bought a second hand or rebuilt (same brand)..., now just last week, same problem with the charging port starts?!! The repairman plugs phone in, nothing happens. Then he removes my batt and put it into his ..., it turnson. he then puts his batt into my phone..., nothing?!? One suggestion he made, bye a new phone (It would be cost efficient) . The charging port cannot be changed out like others and because of this it is probablly why the mother board is becoming damaged.

  • Complete trash phone. I should have learned about phone specs back when I bought it. Owned it for almost 2 years now, and everything crashes. Messenger, Duo, Keyboard. The performance is horrible, and the price was definitely not worth it. Definitely making a more informed decision for my next phone.

  • I agree with you so much, I have this phone and I really wish LG thought about putting a better CPU and battery in it

  • Decent phone for durability, however the performance is literal trash and the battery life is mediocre at best. Kind of wish LG thought about performance before putting an SoC designed for low-end phones in a mid to high-end phone.

  • how do i get phone to call or ping me back if i miss phone call like it does if i miss a email.

  • How do I get these LG network provider on?

  • This is WORST phone Ever Had 1 year now it resets on it's own Erasers all pics, videos, and contracts will not invest in anymore LG phones EVER.

  • The worst phone I have ever owned. It buzzes in your ear, vibrates incessantly. If you have more than one video, it takes hours to post on Facebook. An all around bad phone. Camera sucks. I hate it.

  • How much is the screen

  • I purchased this phone through T-mobile. A week after I purchased it, it dropped from a height of three feet and the screen shattered. I had the screen replaced and put on a shell to protect it. The screen cracked in the corner about a year later. The screen is not bright enough in the day time. I used to have a galaxy, and it was at least double the brightness during the day. You could actually see the screen under direct sunlight. Not so with the stylo 3 plus. The close buttons on apps are not sensitive at all. Unless you touch right in the middle of the "X", the application will not close. The speaker is sub-standard. While closing applications demands your full attention, opening them happens randomly as I am walking with it in my pocket. I don't carry keys in my pocket, so there is nothing to cause this to happen. All in all, the worst smartphone I have ever owned.

  • If it had dropped on hard concrete it would've probably stand a better chance. If the gravel was the sort that has large pebbles etc, that means greater pressure impacting the screen.

  • Breaks Very Easy! Dropped on Gravel 1 time, destroyed. Useless. Screen is very delicate.

  • I'm not saying its indestructible but... It may be close. I've dropped it on all kinds of floor, including outside and the screen looks fine. I even dropped it in the shower while the water was running. Nothing happened at first and it looked fine. The phone later shut off on it own. I turned it back on and it has been fine since. It is very true though, if you run out of space the phone is trash. I watch a lot of videos on my phone so the big screen it great. The stylus feature however is not something I normally use or even think about. All in all, great phone.

  • Text messages won't go through 9.9% of the time not to mention pics. Emaila take forever to send, sits in outbox before getting sent out.

  • Hey, long time Stylo 3 Plus user here. If your phone has no/not much storage the phone won't do crap. Try clearing off your pictures to your computer and delete apps you don't use anymore. See if it's still glitching after that. If it is, run a factory reset. If it's still glitching after that your phone is probably broken.

  • Bluetooth is horrible.

  • It's okay. After sometime it LAGS, like badly. The phone lags so bad that apps stop, and not only apps but the whole phone. Of course, the camera quality is not the best either

  • How much storage do you have on your Stylo? If you have low/no storage the phone one work.

  • I keep getting "Alarm has is not responding" or " Google is not responding". Very irritating.

  • The Stylo 3 is a pile of junk. It was so bad on the earpeice speaker crackling that I returned it the next day! That being said everyone I spoke to on the phone said I was clear as a bell. But I cannot stand the popping and crackling on this phone. Besides that LG cheaped out and the phone has no noise supression. And the phone just feels cheap. I went beck to my 1500 hour LG Stylo/G4. I would avoid this pile of crap like the plauge!

  • That happens when the apps update. Google play store automatically installs the apps on internal storage when the app updates. Unfortunately Google doesn't allow you to change that so yeah you will have to manually transfer them to sd card every time

  • When your apps update they get reinstalled on internal memory. This is normal.

  • my stylo 3 is no longer in my posession and id like to track the device that i own and inspect the activity along with lg. corporation. Where should i turn?

  • I am having issue with my stylo 3. I love the device, and my only issue is with the sd card. I have owned 2 stylo 3's, and I love the 2TB storage capability. I cant figure out why my apps that I move to the SD card will automatically transfer themselves off of the sd card, and back onto internal storage. About every month or so, I have to go through EVERY app and change them back from internal to SD card when there isnt enough space to update the apps in play store. Anyone else have this issue, and have a solution?

  • Bought this phone in May 2018. Seemed to work fine until the problems started. First audio on my end would cut out while making a call. Then would return sometimes . the other could not hear me speaking. Then I could not hear them speaking. Then sometimes when trying to hang up the phone would not respond. I would have to remove the battery to hang up. Sometimes it would not answer the call I would swipe the answer icon with no response. Other times it would work flawlessly but NOT consistently. Called my provider FREEDOM MOBILE they said the problem was the phone. I suspect its FREEDOM network because my wife has the same phone that she purchased 4 months earlier. What a coincidence! I can't send it in for repair because I would be without a phone and no loaner phone is available from the seller. Anyone else have this problem?

  • The phone is a great value for the price. Battery life is amazing. Easily lasts 2 days. Display quality is quite decent and camera quality is great with good lights. In low lights the quality is dark and grainy. I wish the LG could have upgraded this phone to Android 8.0

  • Lgstylo3 battery runs the phone speaker doesnt work right its sound cant hear clear. Thenyou cant clean cache and memory will not let me change over sd card. It hangs up on my calls

  • The LG Stylo 3...what can I say about it that would do it justice...I think the only thing that I can compare it to is that colossal pile of SHIT that they discovered in Jurassic park.....if you are lucky , you might go 2 weeks before the paper thin screen cracks on you and that estimate is being generous...through no fault of my own I had mine for 4 days and it cracked for seemingly no reason. So I used my phone insurance to get another one. After paying the 50.00 deductible i received a new phone thinking it was a flawed screen and a freak thing. A week later it cracked as well. They seem to be missing the point in designing these things. It is a "mobile phone"...it is going to be carried around and used on the go....it would be nice to think that the screen will be ok if you take it out of the house....if you sneeze real hard or rip a loud fart this thing disintegrates....not that you would need and help at all in cracking the screen since they also designed the exterior of the phone to be as slippery as humanly possible. Its like trying to hold a fish in your hands without it shooting out like a wet bar of soap...which im sure was done intentionally as a scam to sell more screens or phones...and now mine just shuts off randomly while im in the middle of a call or whatever for no apparent reason. It is a real shame that LG is doing this...I was always a fan and still have my old stylo 1 which is 5 years old now and has the original screen with no cracks..so i know they can make a good screen...they are choosing not to obviously...its a shame and it seems it is almost impossible to get a quality product these days in america...sad isnt it?

  • I've had 2 . The first one face shattered within the first month. And the next one broke within the week now I have no sound as far as the ring and people can't hear me and I can't hear them hardly only on speaker

  • I bought this in Aug 2017 at a Costco. It died this week Sep 8. Not 1 month out of warranty. I was told they could do nothing for me. It overheated for months before it finally gave out. I won't buy another one.

  • I've had the LG Stylo 3 Plus for over a year. I use it for business, games, finances, photos and videos. I use it the same way I used my Iphone 7 with no problems. Battery life is excellent, I can use it through the day without worrying about the battery. As long as the display brightness is managed the battery will last a long time. It may not be as fast as an $800.00 phone, but it does everything other phones do. The camera is not the best if you need to zoom in, the video quality is excellent. The knock on/ off feature is great and have not had any problems with sound, wifi or bluetooth connectivity. I have used the NFC feature to transfer files to another phone flawlesly. Maybe I got lucky with this phone, but so far it has performed very well and I use it a lot, especially for business (Email, Excel, Word, picture and video editing, GIF, etc...). I highly recommend it.

  • Well I have good battery live around 5hr OST the only issue I had with this phone it that it charged really slow but now it resolved but for some reason it doesn't fast charge

  • No, this list is wrong. the Stylo 8 does NOT have NFC. No IR either, so forget using it as a remote.

  • I like the phone battery life is good as well as the camera. I've only had it for a few months due to my other phone breaking and all of a sudden there's no volume! It doesnt ring, media doesnt have sound, etc but it vibrates. All sound is on but just makes a clicking sound when a notification happens. Anyone deal with that before or have a fix by chance?

  • I have owned this phone since 30 Dec 2017. I recently learned how to use the battery saver. I don't text or message as I have somewhat poor eyesight. I do have a T-Mobile account, and my service costs me $3 a month and 10 cents a minute after 30 minutes is used. I think I learned about the battery saver in a Youtube video.

  • The best phone very good price

  • Fully agree!

  • I would personally refer this as a first-time phone, but if you are upgrading your phone, I wouldn't. The phone is pretty slow after a few months. Spend your money on Apple or Google phones. The battery life is a joke.

  • This phone is real awesome it will not play a YouTube video without buffering when it does the phone gets so hot I think it is going to explode the apps take forever to load I've changed the resolution to see if pictures will get any better and there still poor quality and I have only had phone for four days my opinion get insurance on it and smash it wish I had my old 8 year old LG it worked perfect it never buffered and barely got hot took good pictures where they went wrong I don't know but the stylo 3 is a garbage phone don't buy it its definitely not worthy enough to be called a smart phone

  • This phone makes me absolutly despise the tech industry. I was a huge fan of the Stylo 2 & could not wait to get my hands on the 3rd when it came out. Ive had the 3 for a while & the fact that such an amazing phone has been screwed by half-assed software. I am fed the "F" up with this phone & its inability to do the simplest of tasks. Constant text failing (any network) with no alert. I literally watched this phone change the recipient of a text right before my eyes as it was sent. WTF?!!!! Many many other issues also. Such a beautiful phone set up with software that seems be obviously trying to make you slowely hate it. Done with LG at this point. P.S. ive had to correct almost every word in this cause like always, the keyboard is radically inaccurate.

  • So would yku personally reccommend the LG stylo 3 plus

  • I have had my lg stylo 3 for a year i tried giving lg another chance but i am pissed because it's honeslty the worst phone i have ever had and have had nothing but problems after a year the battery life sucks the internal storage get worse or nonexistent i can't even update my apps i have a 64gig sd card which doesn't help even if i move them or shit most of them off ot doesn't help i keep getting cut off on my calls or it shuts itself off or goes to a black screen and doesn't come on after 30 seconds i have reset this phone 7 times or more and hard reset also and nothing helps it goes back to say i dont have enough storage my screen freezes way to much my messages and notifications sounds don't show or work i do not recommend this phone i have had more issues with this phone than any other phone i have owned and i have had 3 lg phones and nothing but bs happens to them i paid way to much for a phone that doesn't last me years if i were y'all I'd recommend samsung never had any issues with them at all so please when i say don't buy this phone don't it has way to many issues for the price and screws up way to much i feel like i want to throw my phone and smash it everytime i turn it on worst phone i have ever bought.

  • How did it cost you $400 this year when I bought it for $150 last year?

  • I think LG should change their name to LB to stand for Life's Bad instead of Life's Good. The LG Stylo phone is the worst phone I've owned. Ever. Do not buy this cheap phone. There's a weird ringing noise that goes off for no reason. It's not the phone ringing, it's like a bell sound almost. It flips from screen to screen for no reason. Making a phone call is a drawn out process. It will not let you post more than one video at a time to Facebook. It is very very very very sloooooooowwww. Facebook notifications go off in my ear buzzing in my ear while I'm on the phone. The touch sensitivity is not good. Everything is wrong with this phone. It. Is. Awful. I tried calling the company and troubleshooting problems to no avail. I'm trying to save anyone else from experiencing these problems. Do. Not. Buy. This. Phone.

  • Sounds like a lot of you have no idea how to use your phone. My phone charges really fast but only with the factory quick charger, it's a 3 amp charger. If you're trying to use some other charger, well that's your problem, it will take forever. This is m 2nd or 3rd LG and not a single problem, yes some apps have issues, but generally it's with the app people and an update or so will resolve it. Read up on your phones and how to use them.

  • Ive had my lg stylo 3 plus for about 6 months and i love it. Ive had no problems it doesnt get hot. It works fast enough 4 me and as 4 camera im an old school guy. To me as long as it takes a good pic its fine with me. Well enough on this i love my phone god bless you all.

  • I have no problem with my LG stylo 3. This is only my back up phone while waiting for NOTE 9 Samsung.

  • After a few months of usage I am starting to see some slowness in while using apps it's mostly Instagram or Facebook they oddly go away once a update them like they are forcing me to update still the phone work well it hasn't slow down dramatically yet and I am starting to think of root it so that can update it and try as much as possible to speed it up

  • This phone has got to be one of the biggest disappointments I've seen yet. After getting sick of dealing with Apple for so long, I decided to give an Android phone a try. So I got this phone for around 300-400$, which is much more affordable than apple, but you would think that much would get you a somewhat functional device. For the first few weeks, the phone worked great and the one issue I had noticed was that certain apps such as Instagram would constantly freeze and crash, but I just assumed it was some sort of compatibility issue with the OS so I ignored it. About a month later, I start noticing issues with the audio. Now the speakers were never great, but that wasn't a problem. The issue was with the headphone jack or whatever was outputting sound through the 3.5 millimeter jack and I noticed that at times, sound would only go through to one headphone or the other, this was annoying of course and kept happening to the point where I thought the jack stopped working altogether (I tested with more than one pair of course) and a few days later, when sound finally DOES come back, the quality dropped tremendously and listening through the headphones sounds horrible, and it still does to this day. Another major issue I had was performance, but it's LG so frankly I had it coming. The biggest issue of all though was with the touch screen and display. Recently, the screen started to glitch and think I was tapping in the bottom right of the screen which has still yet to cease, and because of it, I frequently had to restart the phone and now lines have appeared at the top of the screen and will not go away, and of course this is the worst issue because the other issues simply hindered the phone in their own annoying ways, this has severely limited what I can even DO with my phone and at this point, replacement of the phone with a different phone entirely is imminent. Note that the entire time I had the phone, I had a well made case and screen protector on at all times and severe damage has never been inflicted on the phone. However I have a friend who has the exact same phone and he's reported no issues with it, it seems that it's a gamble if you receive a 400$ paper weight with a T-Mobile subscription that I would not risk getting.

  • My Stylo 3 has had a battery quickly discharge and open up random apps. Tried factory reset and then it moved apps RANDOMLY. Worked great till then. Had it 9 months.

  • I have the same problem With losing charge quickly and takes 4ever to charge. Also I find it difficult to pull the pen out with the phone cover on.Its ridiculous.

  • Your phone is broken or old because it's battery range is 14 hours. So your phone has a problem

  • Have you checked the part that plugs into the phone? Had a bad experience with an LG charger i bought. The plastic holding the metal that plugs to the phone was cracked. Phone would charge but not consistently. Had to throw that cable away.

  • yes i had this issue with the factory charger. go buy any cheap one and it'll be 50000% better. that being said, the issue could be something else, as i only have my experience to back you up

  • My stylo 3 takes FOREVER. To charge. I mean I've had it plugged in all night while I slept and it only got to 68%. And that will go VERY fast.. I've only just gotten to this page and typed this and its already to 57%. Anyone else have this issue? What can I do to improve it a little? This is rediculous!

  • I Love this phone just got a new one again coz i messed up my screen completely. But my voice recording mic on both phones scratches and breaks up super bad... But on a phone call its good. Dont know if the same mic is used would it be software problem or the mic itself?

  • ...continued from an incomplete post by ericis... the battery life on this waste of a damn good phone is bad and backwards. From my experience with this Stylus series; there is no excuse for this kind of battery performance in comparison to even LG's previous Stylo 2 Plus which had a great battery life and didnt drain the percentage right before my eyes as soon as I toggle wifi or data etc on. If it's an issue regarding poor cpu battery optimizations etc then that is the only big issue I have with it. Hopefully i can use a LGV20 batt or another high MaH batt to solve what I find is the LG Stylo 3 Plus's only big issue.

  • This is my 2nd one from a MetroPCS store (returned 1st for all mentioned issues) and my 3rd device from the entire Stylus/Stylo series in their respective order. The battery life on this waste of a damn good phone is bad and backwards

  • It needs 1 more gb of ram at least.

  • no shit. how else you going to send pics but over data or wifi. i think you need to learn how to work your phone before you post such stupid remarks, you just made yourself look stupid.

  • I have one the CAMERA IS BAD it is codec or hardware on the chip that kills the ability to enlarge the pictures. Worst than JPG compression

  • Would i recommend this phone? Hell no! Bought it at target for over a $100 when i needed one and let me tell you its awful , apps constantly freeze and pop up with app isnt reaponding close app or wait (choose close then re open it) camera is bad quality and the phone is so easy to break constantly there is a new peice of plastic that is chipping off or screen cracking easily , the worst part i have so far is now when i watch YouTube videos or anything it will start fast forwarding or rewinding without me touching the screen whatsoever my advice dont be cheap get your self a iphone it will actualy work and wont want to make you throw the damn thing in a pit of fire

  • I just wish the stylo 3 plus had 2 slots for memory cards like the stylo 2 does it hold 2 memory card.

  • I love my stylo 3 plus the only problem is the camera pics r to dark and blurry other then that I have no trouble mine ..

  • It's just like the LG Stylo 3, only with more features that don't make it righteous enough to only have call and text service from MetroPCS. I wonder if the service works on Project Fi...

  • Everyone that posted has a point. Simply put I have the Stylo 3 plus. The phone is amazing to an extent. It also has its cons. For example, the battery does discharge very quickly. However it don't take super long to charge. The phone overheats very fast. There is always a virus in the phone no matter how many times you clean it. The camera is NOT a selfie friendly device and regular pictures tend to be dimmer and unconventional. Sometimes you have to tap a app several times before it act. Overall the Stylo 3 proves that, despite its few defects, it is a good device. I never understood why people spend alot of money on APPLE phones when, in my opinion, a smart phone like the stylo 3 crush competition.

  • It comes with a fast charger, and mine only takes an hour and thirty minutes to charge, and secondly this thing had an octo core so you must be high, smoking too much waki weed, so obviously your brains in slow more, and I'm sure this phone can run circle around your old shity phone, mine Stylo is fast, so I know your high.

  • Dude, you talk like a 3 year old. Learn how to use correct grammar before you bash a product

  • You might want to make sure the camera settings are not set for a lower resolution. It may not be using 13 MP quality.

  • You might want to make sure the camera settings are not set for a lower resolution. It may not be using 13 MP quality.

  • This phone sucks cant send pics unless you have wifi and data on. Takes forever to charge and not long to drain baytery. Apps take forever to load if they load at all never again. And camera takes crappy pics my 3 yr old phone worked better

  • You may have just had a bad phone like a default phone. Call LG with ur warrenty and tell them that is how u recived it and they should give you a new one

  • It has wifi ac according to official site

  • I have the same issues

  • This phone is basically a Samsung Note 4 with many of the same features for SIGNIFICANTLY less money than a Samsung Note series phone. It's been a good choice for having a stylus, sd card slot and a removable battery, my must haves on a phone. It's not quite as fast as a fresh note 4, but doesn't have the bad ram issues of that phone either.

  • I had a Samsung, I looked around and decided that I wan't going to pay a $1000.00 for a new Samsung phone. I saw this LG and took a chance. Great decision. This is a great phone. i have had it for almost a year and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's fast, has a clear screen, has all the features of the Samsung that I used, the battery life is better than my Samsung, has excellent sound and it takes really good pictures. I will never go back to paying Samsung or Apple prices again not if I can get this good a product for a quarter of the price.

  • When charging any phone you need to be delicate mostly it comes down to people picking up their phones by the chords not pulling the charger out of the pork correctly the house grabbing the phone and the plastic part of the tip of the charger and pulling it out it comes down to neglect so take some time and educate yourself a little bit more about how to handle your equipment accordingly and you will not have these issues but 70% of them come down to a worn-out cord and abuse I hope this helps

  • Its MetroPCS mobile that sucks! Not your phone. Heck I could not even make a single call while with them even if I was standing next to one of their towers. Find a decent provider. I have been with straight talk for quite a few years and even in the back woods of northern Canada I can still get a signal and be able to carry on life.

  • Then honey you have a real problem, I love my Stylo 3 without any problems and is lightning fast

  • I have the stylo 3 plus from metro. The camera is not good for selfies. The phone is way slower for some reason. It freezes a lot. The back of the phone where the camera part is gets extremely hot. That's not good.

  • the straight talk service is bad

  • I had to force the issue with Metro...phone was horrid...make them replace it

  • Make sure you push it in till it clicks. Its kind of firm. Push it in hard.

  • I have problems with things loading very slow or not at all...it times out a lot ..and when I tap to watch videos or try to load something....it just spins... Wondering if its the phone or straight talk phone service ??

  • Not sure if anyone has had this problem, I haven't read anything, but being this is my second Stylus and I same problem. Not happy! The charging port becomes very loose (it actually busted on my last Stylus). When I plug it in I have too literally wiggle it to start charging. If I pick up phone the cord falls out. Like I said this is my second Stylus. First was a Stylus. Phone I have mow is the 3.

  • It's a really great phone it fast and snappy doesn't lag at all it had great battery life and charges quick with the included fast charge charger the only issue I encountered is that sometimes LTE stops responding for no reason regardless of the area I am at or the signal it isn't a huge problem it happens at random I have t mobile as my carrier the other thing I noticed is that camera software is that good sometimes it doesn't wanna focus well but I don't use the camera so no big deal for me the stylo is a great and fun feature to have this phone it's definitely worth 200$

  • Just bought the style 3 plus and all these reviews are the opposite of what I'm experiencing, camera takes very sharp pictures even in a dark environment, battery life last much longer than my original stylo I just upgraded from, after 13hrs battery on style 3 plus was at 83% after using it all day and using flashlight, my style was sitting in truck charged when I left house didn't touch it all day and that battery is at 53%!

  • I had the same problem. You have to press the headphones in with a decent amount of force. I was in the store returning mine when I tried my headphones out on the demo unit and *CLICK*. I took my phone out my pocket and pressed it in a little firmer and *CLICK*. I was so mad, as I can all the say to the store for nothing. I hope I caught you in time.

  • I just got a Stylo 3 plus for Christmas. Tried my headphones today . They wont work its too loose . Tried several different sets I had and they are still too loose . So the music goes in and out and turns off and on . WTH

  • Get wireless headphones they basically give them away

  • Bought the LG stylo 3 August 2017,the camera is junk.every day i turn the WIFI off atleast 15 times.

  • When you plug in the headphones it automatically cuts sound down you have to cut it up same when you unplug headphones it cuts sound and play off restart play and cut media volume up allsmartphones and Android tablets do this

  • airplane mode

  • You're so right, the Stylo 2 had way better battery life, Im disappointing with the battery. I thought I had a defective phone but now see that it's not just mine

  • Check your ESN settings go to Settings, more, ESN, check for your providers ESN NAME. Most providers will auto push settings if you login to their websites .

  • Hi just bought this phone and it was working fine however after doing an uprede it has caused me not to be able to make phone calls it says emergency calls only and its not reading my sin card.. What could be wrong?

  • Gorilla glass is much stronger I dropped mine and the glass broke its crap I would rather have a scratched screen than my broken one.

  • there's a sensor on the screen near the camera that detects light and is suppose to turn the screen off when the phone is held to your ear. Slide your finger over the sensor, it should get you the screen back.

  • Had my stylo plus 3 a couple of days, whenever I call somebody the screen goes blank. I can't get to the dialpad, and if I am listening to a voice mail, I cannot shut it off, tried using the power button, still the screen is black. What to do?

  • I have the phone now for a couple of month and I still like it. How ever if you like to take pictures that is certainly not the phone for you. Even in perfect light conditions the pictures are blurry.

  • I have the same problem with headset saying its plugged in. I have never even used it. I have only had the phone a month and half is there any thing I can do to fix it.

  • No it is not water resistant

  • I've had this phone for about a month after switching from an iPhone 6s (T-mo with both phones)... I wanted a larger screen but no longer think the Apple premium is worth paying. This phone has worked flawlessly. The two things I'm not crazy about (but am willing to live with) are the sound quality of the speaker and the lack of settings in the on board camera software. The speaker sounds very tinny/hollow.. if you listen to 1940's music it would sound great...anything else sounds very bad. The camera (13mp) can take very good photos, however, the stock 'shutter speed' is extremely slow and leads to blurry pics unless you concentrate on holding the camera still... even in very good lighting conditions. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and have recommended it to friends/co-workers.

  • Try turning off your phone. Once its turned off, leave it off for about a minute. Then turn it back on. Make sure you are turning it off and not just restarting it. Give that a shot. hopefully it works.

  • You mentioned that you can't connect to major websites and that you have issues with the cursor being sticky. Does this happen all the time or is it an intermittent problem? You mentioned Metro PCS, however, do any of the problems that you're experiencing subside when you connect to a Wi-Fi network? My guess is that when you brought your phone into the store that they tested the phone while connected to their own in-store Wi-Fi network and not a wireless network where it sounds like your having issues. If you haven't already gotten these issues taken care of I'd suggest that you first see if the problems subside when you connect to a Wi-Fi network (to narrow down the problem). If the problem goes away when you connect to a Wi-Fi network but re-appears when you reconnect to your Metro PCS network, bring the phone back to the store and let them know this so they can attempt to replicate the same issues that you're experiencing. If you continue to experience the same problems regardless of whether you're connected to a Wi-Fi network or MetroPCS I'd still bring the phone back to the store and try to speak to someone different, perhaps a store manager. BTW, When they tested your phone at the store, did they experience a sticky cursor, at all? Were you able to watch what they were doing so that you could see for yourself whether or not the phone was having any issues (while they were looking at it in the store)? If you don't have any success at the store level, contact LG technical support directly and see what they recommend. You may end up having to send it to LG for warranty replacement or repair. Kinda sucks, I know, but it might be your only option. Good Luck!

  • Horrific problems with this phone: LG Stylo3Plus with Metro PCS. I'm an LG fan, and I have had great service with MetroPCS in Silicon Valley. My last LG Stylo was such a great phone -- no problems. This one was funky from the getgo. The cursor is 'sticky' and freezes when texting. But worst of all -- can't connect to major websites -- get an error page that says 'can't find server' (for the site)!! Happens every day. Right now, I have been trying to access my important email from a major site for over an hour! It's a joke. Took my phone to MPCS corporate store where I bought it; they use it for a couple of minutes and say the phone is "working fine" ... HELP!!

  • LG 3 stylo 3 plus often times has no sound when ear phone unplugged. Last time the sound came back after one day. This time almost one day aready, it still not back yet .Dose any one else.has the.same problem?

  • I read that it is NOT water resistant

  • I bought the Stylo 3 about 5 weeks ago and within a week I had cracks in the glass from carrying the phone in my pocket which has never been an issue with either the Galaxy S's that I have previously owned, nor the iphone 5 & 6 that I have for work. You are correct : This is more like chimpanzee glass...

  • Stylo 2 had 2g ram Stylus different phone

  • I find this phone to be very good for its price range. So far its been 3 days with it the battery life last me all day long. I turned off animations using dev options and i always lower the screen brightness and turn off anything i wont be using. So far its been a good 3 days no weird behavior. Really good fingerprint sensor and I also like the double tap feature to lock and turn on the screen. Until something goes wrong i stand by my review.

  • I have used my LS777 (Boost Stylo 3) for a while now. Even starting my day with only 85% showing on the battery and extensive (baby) use, I will send the rest with at least 2%0 -. 30% remaining.

  • Same here, not even 12 hours and the phone is only a week old.

  • The Stylo 3 Plus actually has up to a 2tb micro sd card compacity. (Even though that amount doesn't exist yet).

  • yes you are right, I have the same issue , the battery of lg stylo 3 plus doesn't last too much . the battery dies so fast .

  • How many GB of storage?

  • is this phone dust and water resistant? anyone??

  • Anybody have any issues with the battery? Mine doesn't last as long as my 2 plus did and i use my phone for everything from pressional use to personal use.

  • Gorilla glass isn't the only scratch resistant glass on the market!!! And it isn't the best nor do they have good quality control. The stylo 3 plus comes with Japanese NEG glass. Keep in mind, this is a mid range phone that retails for about $150. Its no iphone!!!

  • No gorilla glass in the stylo 3 plus !

  • Don't have a comment on the 3 plus, but I would like to know if the lg stylo 3 plus has gorrila glass built into it? My lg stylo 2 plus (metro pcs) has it built from the manufacturer, and i strongly believe it has saved my phone from cracking with the many times I have dropped it.

  • Sd card slot is above SIM card slot..battery is removable

  • Is the SD card dedicated, or using the SIM 2 port?

  • Got this phone a couple days ago and having issues with it. The speaker doesn't work all the time and constantly restarting it to play my music. Also it gets really choppy watching any video after a few minutes and restarting the phone to watch a couple quick videos is a pain in the butt!

  • this is the stylo line not stylus 3, stylo 3

  • The speed of a phone is determined by its processor a.k.a chipset a.k.a c.p.u...ram determines how many apps you can open and keep em running in memory at one go...however that greatly depends on how the 'ram management' is configured by the manufacturer for that particular model too and also if the 'memory management' option is turned on or off...cos there exist phones with lots of ram and poor ram management too

  • The speed of a phone is determined by its processor a.k.a chipset a.k.a c.p.u...ram determines how many apps you can open and keep em in memory at one go...however that greatly depends on how the 'ram management' is configured by the manufacturer

  • I would not exactly say disappointed..LG stylo 3 has an extra gigabyte of ram and a bigger battery powering a 720p screen..so you get to open n keep more apps in memory and a much better battery life on stylo 3 Vs a better resolution of a screen on the stylo 3 plus..it's Upto you to choose, according to your needs..amongst what is offered in each

  • Had a Stylo 2 Plus for about a year (T-Mobile) and liked it well enough. Saw that the 3 was available and upgraded. I love it. For those worried about the 2GB RAM, don't. The 3 is faster than my 2 even with the drop in RAM. Also, the new one has a gyro, first thing I did was order a VR headset :) Very happy with mine!

  • I bought a Stylo 3 Plus 2 weeks ago from T-mobile and I'm happy with my choice. My main concern was the 2 GB RAM. I had 4 GB of RAM before. But I see no difference so far. The Stylus pen is a lot of fun. Battery live is close to 2 days.

  • Awesome. Main reason I want to upgrade from my Stylo 2 is that the 3 now has a gryo so it should work with some VR setups. \o/ yays

  • The Stylo 2 plus is 2GB of RAM also, so it didn't drop in any RAM....

  • Hi Team Could you please advise will this phone works in other countries like India ?

  • make a lg stylo 3 plus for $100 or lower . and do you have any used phones that still work ?

  • Disappointed they dropped RAM to 2GB but very happy that they included a gyro. I prefer the Stylo 3 because the gyro makes a huge difference when using the phone for navigation.

  • That was Stylus 3, this is Stylo 3 Plus.

  • I have the same question regarding the downgrade... I've been a fan of the style 2 plus for some time due to the Octo-core processor and the 3 G's of RAM. However, this is an unexpected change in the hardware. Shame on LG!

  • 2 models launched within a year? People who bought the Stylo 3 must be disappointed. Anyway these are my views 1. 2Gb RAM? 2. No mention whether there is OTG function.

  • Stylus2 plus had 3gb ram. Why are they downgrading

  • $164 at Walmart family mobile, which rides the T-Mobile network.

  • Came over from overpriced Samsung. Had the stylo 1, loved it. Had the 2. Loved it. Waiting for the 3 plus. Seems nice. Not the biggest amount of upgrades but doable. Wish they had a package that included a case, extra battery and big sd card. Why am I always buying those separately? Never ever had one problem ever from an LG. Its $225 at T-Mobile. $264 at Sprint. $299 on Amazon. Best buy doesn't even carry it. Boost is whatever. Waiting for Wal-Mart price.

  • Price of a Ferrari on a Opel. WTF really? Only total N..B will buy this or someone who has been forced to buy. And specs are really bad in present era.

  • i think the specifications of galaxy note 2 after 5 years from release still better than stylus 3+ for example the battery is 3100 & the display is 5.5 inch with 720p resolation which the battery more durable than lg cell wih 5.7inch display & 1080p & 3080 battery with this price u can go for xiaomi phones with more better specifications

  • after 5 years from making galaxy note 2 by samsung lg make it alive again galaxy note 2: 2017 edition ha ha ha...

  • THe phone is looKing gooD and not so good specifications But i will say its labelled!!! but looking at the price under 15k its not so cool because we have redmi note also with beast performace at this price!!!!

  • Galaxy Note 2: 2017 edition

  • Galaxy Note 2 / S3 style :D

  • Just released in India at around Rs 15k. Nice price, large screen and good specifications.

  • Wanna try if the audio is nice.

  • 2017 and 2GB rams ? Starting from this point we can predict a big fail

  • It's being sold for T-Mobile, and they always decrease the specs of some of their phones. Examples: LG artisto (LG k8 2017), LG K20 plus (LG k10 2017) and even last year's LG stylus LG stylo 2 plus (LG stylus 2 plus). The only weird thing about this phone is that it's original counterpart (most likely LG stylus 3 plus) hasn't been announced so that one will most likely pack more favorable features. Look up those phones from T-Mobile and the specs, then the original phone here, and you'll see what I mean

  • lg use snapdragon 435 chipset which is newest one in mid range which is greatly battery efficient but also support fast charging which is sadly missing Overall if Lg tag pricing 14000 or below for same then its good otherwise lg lost another loyal fan.....

  • I was gonna ask the same thing. Why would they call it "Plus", then lower the mAh? LoL LG just lost a very LOYAL customer here.

  • after 1 year from release snapdragon 625,626,652,653 they use sd652 just in lg g5 se after 1 year, there is no news about using these chipset in another devices of lg lg is very miserly

  • this is another silly phone from lg lg stylus 3 have 3200 mAh & this have 3080, another stupid downgrade 1080p with 5.7inch, need more battery, more than 3500mAh this is a midrange phone & they r free to sport it with huge battery & its not a flagship WAKE UP LG

  • Snapdragon 435!?
