The touch on my LG thrill p925 was broken and stopped touching so I changed it. From I changed the screen and left the phone idling for a while it stops touching. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on in order for the touch to be accessable. Can you tell me what could be the cause please?

I just did the hard reset on mine. Phone seems to work like new again, except my problem is mostly on google apps always indicate device is not compatible so unable to download apps or update existing apps I have no issue on network but I suggest try this method make note to back up all your files on your micro sd card bec. you have to erase everything and reset it to original setting

The ICS update was poorly implemented. It brought a lot of bugs and the phone is now too slow. It takes 10 seconds to open some apps, and sometimes it takes ABOUT 3 MINUTES to make a call if someone just called you before. The home screen is always redrawing (like it was just killed and restarted) and the power consumption is much higher than with Gingerbread version. So, I had to change to another smartphone because the 4.0.4 Android on P925 (and I think it's LG's fault) ruined this marvelous phone, wich usually isn't a phone anymore because it doesn't let me make calls. Now I understand why people used to pay more for a phone that doesn't run a generic software, like the Nexus and the iPhone. Having a software that is always updated and programmed for a specific model is totally worth the price.

My mouth piece only works once after booting for regular calls but using mouth piece for other calls like skype, tango, viber etc. is ok and works well all the time. to make a regular call i have to restart it to make just one call or two and then it start again..Any help..

The LG does play my Flash (swf) version via HTML4 {embed} tag, but once the {embed} tag is placed inside the {video} tag, the LG can not access the Flash (swf) file. If the LG can not play the HTML5 mp4 (or wmv), then the LG is suppose to ignore the HTML5 {video} tag. What is the best way to get the LG to play video (including all the other smart-phone brands) ? I used LG mobile support tool and updated to 4.0.4 ICS and love it.By the im on Rogers Canada.If anyone has problems updating make sure you turn on debuging mode and then connect the cable and fire up lg mobile tool.

Hello. First it is 3D. No other company has came up with such an idea - 3 D phone. Except HTC. But I don't really like HTC. Not the case, anyway. I received the phone with Android 2.2.2 Froyo. Tried to use it heavily....well...I was disappointed. Slow, sluggish, bad battery life. Skype was not working (Froyo does not support multiple cameras) Then I found how to update it to Gingerbread. It went successfully, but with some hiccups. I even called LG and got RMA....phone went off and I could not get it back to life... Then I tried to update it on XP machine - surprise! I got update no problem. Why was it a problem on win7 I do not know. So, patience won again. With GB the phone became faster, waay faster. Battery life improved too. Skype now works no problem. The phone is easy to root as well. I used Vulcan Factory code. 20 min and it's done. So, it is good machine! Do not read bad reviews, some work and patience and you will get yourself pretty much unique phone for not so much money! Thanks for reading!

I HATE THIS PHONE. I have had 2 different replacements for this phone with the same problem. The port where the charger goes is horrible. After a couple months it goes bad. Then the battery is horrible. The phone over heats at dies quickly. If you leave the phone on the charger too long, it over heats and turns off. Worst phone ever.

I was very impressed with this phone when I first got it, but I was coming from a Samsung Epic. The speed is very nice, the phone has a nice weight to it, and it doesn't look too tiny in my hands. The screen is gorgeous as are the colors. In stock trim it runs pretty well, but root it and load BioHazard Kitchen OTA ROM and it's a complete beast. The only downside I can cite is a crap battery life easily rectified by a battery upgrade.

Love this phone. I wish they would make another with a longer lasting battery but that's the worst i could say about it. The 3D is so amazing and everytime I show it to someone that don't want to give it back. Sure hope they are going to keep it around, maybe they need to think of putting something like Suri on it but call it DROID.

For the listed capabilities of this phone, it's performance is horrible! After upgrading to 2.3, the phone takes forever to boot (~6 minutes). Frequently, the front-end software will crash. Then, you can't shut down the phone or power it off. Removing the case and pulling the battery is the only option. Camera is very slow to respond. Between the first audible shutter 'click' to the taking of the picture is several seconds. Occasionally, the first audible click will occur and then you'll be kicked back out to the desktop, with no picture taken. The SD card arrangement in this phone is awful. The only way to save data to the SD card is to manually transfer it using a file browser app. Very strange the way the SD card implemented and is not recognized by the phone. The thing will also slow to a crawl after using a few apps, to the point it will just freeze and will require battery removal to shut down. Stay away from it!

The LG Thrill's battery life stinks. So does it's ability to get a signal... I can be in downtown Portland with a group of iPhone users and while they are using their phones freely, I am lucky to be able to make a phone call. It's not the AT&T network, it this phone! I hate it.

Biggest piece if crap ever. Do not buy it. Total junk. Slow, never updates, the browser freezes up all the time requiring a battery pull.. speaker quality in the ear piece and the external speaker bot went out on both replacement phones. Lg will do nothing for you after the 2nd replacement either. Junk company, last product i will ever use of theres. Just broke my screen out of frustration also.. Never hated a phone so much in my life.

Please save your sanity and avoid this phone. LG support will do nothing to help the issues with this phone. If you are unlucky enough to already have one, do NOT upgrade to V2.3 or you will be plagued with missed calls and texts. If you already did the upgrade, your screwed. Sending the phone for service will just get the same crappy V2.3 software installed, or a refurbished with the same problem.

I liked this phone, for awhile. I hate it now. It got really old to me fast. The UI is fun and colorful, but extremely boring. The design of the phone to me is boring as well. Nothing stands out about it. Currently saving up for a Samsung Galaxy S3. I can't wait to get this phone off my hands. Maybe these are all personal opinions. Overall the Thrill is a good phone with performance. The only thing that lags is battery performance.

Gingerbread update pros: - Data transfer speed from 14.4Mbps to 21Mbps. - Battery life 5-6 hour more better (normal use). - 2D to 3D game converter apps. - Flash work with 3D Camera. - Some bug fix. - A bit better performance. cons: - Some phone will have a Ghost call bug. - More At&t bloatware. - Quadrant score will be worse (if you care about it). - may be another bug. My suggestion, if you have no problem with Froyo better stick with it, because if you unlucky and get the ghost call, you'll regret the update. For the benchmark performance, someone at youtube just upload some benchmark score, hopefully it's help.

my battery life is pretty good and i always have wifi running... you need to d/l an app like the free "android assistant" that will allow you to pick what apps are running on your phone at startup, manage your battery life, ect. android assistant does this and a lot of other things that will help you use your phone to its maximum ability.

I recently bought this superphone and I have to say... I'm really impressed..!! LG is mostly a good price point brand, but this is leaps and bounds above any phone I've tried before. That's including the iphone4s... The 3D option is alright, but you can't record or capture 3D in low light or complete darkness, because the flash is inoperable in those modes. The most complaints I hear & see are about not being able to change the main app dock, but you can, you just go to the application screen, touch & hold the desired app, the screen will then go to your main screen, just drag the icon to replace the desired dock-application..!! I figured that out because it was a concern of mine too. Overall, this phone my have only 512mb of RAM, but it doubles over the dual core antenna, so it's just as good as a 1gb variant..!! I will definitely be keeping this phone and seeing if it gets even better when the 2.3 gb update is released for it... If you're trying to decide between this or the galaxy s2, my choice is going to be this... Hands down. To save battery in any of these devices, just turn off your GPS, Data(when not needed), and WI-FI(when not needed). In doing that, any of these type of phones will definitely surprise you in how much longer the battery will last. I can get 2days, easy, without charging, when I turn off the previous items until needed...!!

Thrill 4G does have Cornings Gorilla Glass. Its listed on their website as having it. Same with almost every other electronics product with a screen thats come out with the last 24 months or so. At&t might not be the best but I have had all the carriers and the experience with the least stressful. At&t let you use data and voice calls at the same time which might not seem like much but its nice when the situation arises. They also have been spending millions on upgrading their network and I have seen the improvement. The thrill might not be the best phone but its a cool 3D phone and for those of us who want to have the newest tech its nice to have another choice other then the EVO 3D.

Got this phone from Costco for $4.99 (payment for tax) from upgrading to our two years contract with AT&T in which I did NOT pay at all for this phone.. i really love it! i fully charged it last night and started using it at 6:30am and now almost lunch time it is still 60% of the battery which compare to my last HTC Inspire when I am using it in just 4 hours I need to recharge it again. I can play movies, games, etc.. I LOVE IT!

if your only problem with the phone is the tray icons you should download a different launcher from the market. I have ADW launcher by Anderweband I love it. Makes my phone almost completely customizable.

Wow...i love this phone...it was not first on my list, but glad i finally found a nice one. Loved my Captivate, but it got to hot talking for while, then moved on to the HTC Inspire, too big and no front facing camera, then stuck with an Atrix until it started having significant signal issues and finally, kept resetting itself for no apparent reason, not the mention the odd color fading on my WWF app (still scratching my head on that one), so sadly I had to move...tried the GS2, didn't care for the feel and just seemed ok, nothing specatular, especially for the price :( Oh, the Samsung Infuse, just too big...needless to say, found this phone at Costco for $29!!! Yeah buddy! Beautiful screen, 3D is a nice novelity, but not my selling point...nice solid feel and size, even for small hands...beautful screen and for day to day stuff, more responsive than the Atrix. Only minor peeve is not being able to change the 4 tray app options :) Give it a whirl!

um yes it does have faux G thats why its called the LG Thrill 4g it should be the LG Thrill 3.5G, I work for AT&T I've had every android you can think of dont like LG but I got it for $30 bucks so I cant complain I rooted and put gingerbread on it now its alot better but Ill be buying the SGSII when it comes out, But fav is HTC and I cant till Im 22Mbps speeds with HTC Holiday LTE. I bought the jetstream its freaking awesome fast as hell, but would never buy it at 700 luckily i work for at&t and won one wait till its been out 1 more month and they will drop the price by at least 250 no bodys buying this thing its awesome but not so awesome for 700 on a two contract i would buy it out right before i did that ive been hearing around that it will drop to 449.99 buy Christmas so keep holding out people.

Wow I gave my iphone 4 to my parents because theres croaked. This is my first android phone so I was skeptical but I was asstonished at how fast this phone is and how good the 3D movies look. Mine came with 8 gig onboard storage and a 8 gig sd card. I have been a Iphone lover but this phone has changed my mind. I charged it last night and have been playing on it since around 8am and its almost 6 here and I still have 56 percent battery life left. My iphone 4 would normally have about 30 percent after a days woth of work.

It has to be priced at $99 (AT&T stores) because of the iphone 5 and samsung galaxy S2 coming out within weeks. If it was the basic $199 with a 2 year agreement then it wouldn't sale due to people waiting on the other 2 devices. AT&T also dropped the price of the Motorola Atrix and HTC Inspire to $99 also. This will help all three devices sell while the two big ones take most of the share.

More power. At least in Optimus 3D. So proppably also this model should have more power under the hood than Optimus 2X. You see LG adjusted some of their own things inside Optimus 3D making it more powerful than the usual 1GHz dualcore. So this one proppably should be atleast as powerful as Optimus 3D. Also this model has an in built 4G and the 2X has not.
