Moto m is having really poor Battey life it live only for 15 mins after some days. I'm not going to buy any Moto or lenovo phones again😒 really disappointed even Moto/Lenovo calaries are not helping with new battery. This is worst service.

I purchased this phone for around 18k which is much more than its worth. It is like Indian cricket team good on paper but fails while performing.It is the worst phone I have ever used. Its battery is worst . It hangs with even normal apps and games set aside heavier ones. It doesn't connect with smart TVs. Moto is the worst in term of updates. I recommend never buy a Moto phone

It's too fragile ,my flashlight has stopped working also the vibration mode ,the display is coming out,and when someone calls me the phone suddenly switches off even though battery is full.

this phone build and design feels sturdy and robust,m aybe not easily broken (fragile) by crash. from distant it looks luxurious doesn't look cheap or ugly :-) camera opens fast while not the fastest BUT unfortunately camera Results are unreliable and DISAPPOINTING its not sharp noises toomuch,i install Google camera v2.7 it doesnt help still not sharp and clear photos :-(((

(Overall Happy)My MOTO M just works fine.., I don't do any gaming, just watch movies, YouTube Documentaries, & normal phone for calls, Whatsapp etc. Till today no issues except despite Hi-Res camera no OIS ( Optical Image Stabilisation ). The battery will last you giving good backup for 300 charge-discharge cycles as advertised (about a year) and then you may need to buy a new battery. Why do people curse this fone on all forums esp. if they do not wish to spend? In life one generally gets what you pay for. After about a year(bought in 2016 Dec), the charging wire male end Type C goes bad and I replaced with another. Technician in shop informs me that the female end too may go bad and need replacing. Worst phone ever. It is charging so so slowly. Bought a new charger from the company after 3 months but still the issue was there then I came to know the problem was with the phone only. My God... This has the worst battery backup I've ever seen... Battery will show about 10%and in about 3 minutes down to 2%. Charge the phone it suddenly shoots up to 60% Extremely unreliable. I had to buy a separate power bank just to be able to use the phone for a normal 9 hour working day and that too with a low usage profile. Watch you tube and your battery goes from 100% to 0 in about 50-60 minutes. In standby mode too I've seen the drain at 1% in 3 minutes which means that in about 5 hours you'll need to charge your phone. Motorola... You've lost a customer

Extreme bad fon upto now. No services. Charger and cable both got spoiled only in 6 months period . Battery is very bad behaving. If it is showing 1% and fon is off when you out in charging , all of sudden it shows 40% , really. I am totally regretting why I bought this. My worst decision. I got this phone from lucky draw & had used it for 2months now, I will NOT recommend to anyone to buy it. I heard that Lenovo acquired Motorola, so the quality dropped rapidly. Battery - Even though this is a new phone the battery drop rapidly, and extremely quick while playing game. The rest of the apps was closed & only one game was opened, the battery drop 5% within 1 minute Camera - the photo were very dark even with good lighting GPS - Not suitable for PoGo player, the GPS is highly unstable. Will also not recommend to use nagivations tools with this phone, you might end up at somewhere else Touch screen / phone function - still behaving fine Internet / wifi - I feel the signal is not very stable & strong, but maybe just my imaginations. I strongly DO NOT suggest anyone to buy this phone.

Moto m phone is actually not at all worth while. With the price of this phone we can get two well featured phones. The camera quality is ver y very poor, contact system not good, there is no group contact option, battery back up is utterly poor. I have to replace the board within one year of use, after that I had met your service people twice for further rectification. Many many more bad things about this ugly phone to write. I bought Moto M 64 gb memory/ 4gb ram/ golden color variant 1 year and 7 months ago. Recently what is happening is - after battery is 15% it suddenly drops to 10% within few minutes and then to 5% and then to 1%. I have to switch off my phone immediately after 15% if I am traveling. Also recently the screen touch is behaving unexpectedly. Meaning some part of my screen is been touched though I am not touching it.

You seem to be having no idea about how processors work. You can't simply put a desktop processor into a phone - desktop processors require a lot more power and also need active cooling, both of which cannot be done in a phone.

i set screen brightness to 28% it's bright enough at night and Low light indoor BUT hardly and unconvenient to read display at Daylight outdoor :-(( . fingerprint scanner is reliable coz its fast n accurate :-)). camera is ready to capture in about 2sec..i dont know the time for after photo capture ..to gsmarena Experts and other users and readers too, does google camera app could compensate the below average camera Results of moto m??

my phone battery is Li-ion while on fullspecs page of gsmarena is Li-Po,, is that why i had not issues with battery overdraining (Yet???) But battery endurance iz not Excellent as expected.i had unnecesary Overheating issues too if often it may harm/melting the circuit components inside . and i dislike the sim card tray which seems fragile easily broken accidentally, cards position easily moving hardly to get fix or fit in position :-((

I've been using Moto M for about 8 months now and generally I don't like it. I usually must charge it twice a day, but I can live with that. What really bothers me is that touch screen freezes pretty often and I must lock it with button/unlock it several times before it works again. I updated it 4 times hoping Lenovo addressed this bug, but nothing changed, except I ended up with Android 7.0 which uses more memory than previous version...

Oh please, this phone's processor isn't even remotely powerful compared to modern PC processors. Don't blindly look at core count and clock speed. There's a HUGE architecture difference between a phone processor and a PC processor. It's like comparing a Corolla to a Lamborghini. Both of them have 4 wheels, but the Lamborghini is obviously much faster.

I faced the same vertical lines issue. It's in several colors. Faced this issue many times and the phone used to stuck on the restart process. After 3-4 times of that bullshit it starts. Now facing the poor charging of the battery. Percentage never seem to cross 88/89%. It's been 4 days but haven't been able to charge it to 100 percent. I tried to charge it while switched off but it still it charged to 89 percent in 11hrs from 1 percent charge. Pathetic.

Such an worst experience in using Moto M. Guys do go for the s pecifications given and buy the phone, because the specifications are not true. This phone doesn't support any updates other than the default one which comes with mobile. And the service center in bhopal is again with a worst service. Even after knowing the mobile is a faulty one they always remove the updates or format the mobile. This is what the maximum they can do with the mobile so, after a month we face the problem. It's a kind request to the company if you wanna test the mobile do it from your end. Why the hell you try it with the customer. I suggest friends do not prefer Moto anymore

The phones charges very fast, 1hr 15 mins for complete charging. But, the battery standard could have been better. It's f9. If ur not a gaming person. Within 11k it's a nice option, worth buying it

Operating system hangs alot - unable to use simple apps like messaging and calling. Too many advertisements appearing on apps like whatsapp as well. Which are add free. I too getting the same problem, worst battery backup I never ever seen like that. I charged until 100%. If I opened network within one hour the battery is completely drained and shows 1%. Even I use the android same brand Moto g first generation that is good till yet. That's why I prefer Moto but I completely disappointed and disgrace this model. Kindly suggest sum 1 what suppose with this mobile and what suppose s the rectification progress.

I have used Moto M for over a year now. Here is problems i am facing. My battery %age now is 70% -Bad battery. It has a very unpredictable battery. You cannot trust it. If your battery is at 50 % you better start finding the charger. Two minutes, it will fall down to 30% .Next two minutes and it reaches 15 %(battery saver starts). Next 30 seconds and poof. Your battery is at 2%. However 2% lasts for almost 5 minutes (lol). -Battery saver is very bad. As mentioned above, battery saver does more harm than good. It not only drains the battery even faster, it also affects the performance of the phone. You cannot use internet, type on the keyboard, or even open an app without it being hanged. - It does not have a restart option - After the recent nougat update dolby atmos stopped working for a month. Also music streaming on this phone is not satisfactory. The volume changes on it own. Sometimes loud enough to scare me. Mostly the problems related to this phone are caused by battery. Without the battery part, the phone is pretty awesome. Its processor is mindblowing(except in battery saver). Memory is great. I would suggest this phone only if you can afford to keep it charged all the time. My battery %age now is at 38%

After sharing a data (2500 images) from other mobile to my newly bought Moto m 64 gb when I open Picture gallery to see a speed of Octa core processor I experience bad it opens in a slow speed that one can easily count the image at time when only 16gb inbuilt memory occupied. And good experience is Camera with options to capture better picture, Youtube, Google search is working smoothly.

Hello friends, please find my opinion on Moto M which may be useful to you to make decision on purchasing new mobile phone. I bought Moto M online through Flipkart, after lots of search on 4gb and 64 gb catagorised phone. Finally decided to take this phone. Bought on April 12 2017. For first 5 to 6 months it was working properly, but there after started giving me trouble. When mobile was completely switch off and u start again it was giving vertical lines and then it hangs. Application were not working, 4 gb phone behaves like 1 gb phone. Went to service center 6 times. They updated software even changed motherboard but no respite.. problems still continue only flicker problem on starting the phone is solved. This is my opinion with the product you may have different opinions. But as I understand lenevo and Moto products are not good. It heats up lot. Speaker and camera quality is also not satisfactory. Anyway I wasted my 18k hard money. Please you think over before buying. When I purchased I was happy but within warranty period only my happiness is vanished..

I'm using Motorola M for a week, assembled in Indonesian. overall it's good. great display, great performance for light gaming (mobile legend), not heat up too much only warm, camera isn't bad, battery life is enough, clear and loud speaker. I got this Motorola from the box with Android 6 version but I get system update to Android 7. but after update to android 7, someyimes my 4G signal is lost and I have to turn flight mode on and off, then my 4G signal is back normal again. I don't know maybe it's bug from Android 7? my score is 7.5/10

I have been using it for 3 quarters now. Battery backup is a major issue. Do NOT go for this phone if battery usage is at all of concern to you. They do pass on system updates but NOT before messing it up while trying to customize it (what they receive from Google).

I was confused, when there are lots of choices in the market like oppo, Sony. Mi, Panasonic etc. My budget was around 16 k. I searched lot and after comparing various brands and specifications even though Moto m is overcharged I bought.m from Flipkart. I was very happy with look and the sound etc..but my happiness was lived short when I found the phone is behaving eratic...slow down flickering when you start mobile. At any point of time u will receive msg UI system not responding, Google play store not responding, and then you have to switch off the phone I visited 4 times to service center . They have changed the motherboard but the problem continues even today. I am not at all happy with the phone and service center. My advice do not go for Moto m... thanks

Purchase my moto m 6 month bacj from flupkart. One fine day mob stoped charging and went off. I tried othr charger but mob didnt show any life. Went to service centre in bangalore near raja ji nagar. There i got big shock the service centre fellow told me u hav tapred the mobile.your charging pory seems to be soldered manualy and that there is no seal on charging board. He refused to service my mobile. How the hell i can know that inside my mobile charger port is manualy soldered or it does not having seal inside. The mobile was in warranty period who wil tampered his 17000 rs mobile to loose warranty and then wil go to service centre. Realy feel cheated by lenevo and by flipkary.

I am not able to select desired network type, It only shows 3G. 4G is not working, since 4G is not working VOLTE is also not working. Camera quality is very very poor compared to the specs provided, This is the worst phone i have ever purchased.

If you have any call recorder installed on your moto m, my observation is that you should uninstall those apps, then restart your phone. Don't install those apps.

After the recent patch update, the call reciever isn't able to hear my voice. Sim enable/disable and air-plane modeon/off will not help as a workaround. Only workaround is to reboot and use the phone until you sense the same issue. Again reboot!!

First of all, even after the phones release post the Nougat updates full release, this phone has not got the Nougat update. Secondly, they release the new phone update without properly testing and it stops the phone from its most basic use i.e. calling. Pathetic phone!!!! It has different kind of issues. I have a Crossbeats Bluetooth headfones which I use with Moto M, evertym I wanna use it for calls I need to restart the phone or it won't work for calls, however it works grt on my wife's samsung phone. Moreover it has serious network issues. My friends keep complaining about calls not getting connected even when I have full network, have even changed service provider but no use it's pathetic. This is my first ever Moto phone and I do not wanna buy a Moto phone ever .

This is a strange phone in the Moto line-up - Moto M doesn't really have the typical Moto qualities, like excellent battery life, the Moto gestures, dedicated SD card slot with Dual-SIMs and it even comes with Mediatek instead of Qualcomm... it's almost like a rebranded Lenovo or Xiaomi phone with Moto name slapped on-top and with stock Android pre-installed. Even stranger is that apparently this phone is selling like hotcakes! I guess people really like the looks or price-point or something? To me this phone seems the least-appealing out of Moto devices, but maybe I'm missing something.

My Moto M (4Gb -64Gb) did heat a lot and drained battery in my first week. I then took it back with factory settings and started it again. Viola... all perfect and works very fine. The chipset helio P15 in moto m is much better than Snapdragon 617 in moto G4 plus interms of processing speed & thermal management. But, P15 lacks behind in GPU. So, heavy gaming experience will be much better in moto G4 plus. Camera in G4+ comes with laser autofocus and OIS. So it is a great option for shutterbugs.

Few positives but mostly not happy with this phone. - lots of bugs. Sometimes the charging led indicator does not turn off after unplugging the charger. - proximity sensor is buggy. Sometimes the screen doesn't light up when you take the phone away from your ear at the end of the call. - battery life is average. - charging is very slow. I have a 2.1 amp car charger that used to charge my Nexus 5 very quickly. Barely maintains the battery level for this phone. Usb charging from a laptop is also very slow. Have tried various cables, same result. The only way to charge a little quickly is to use the charger provided with the phone and not use the phone at the same time. - very disappointing camera. Lots of people have mentioned this already. - fingerprint scanner is slow and inaccurate if I compare it with a Nexus 5x, which is a much older phone. - I don't know if this is a network issue,but the call quality sucks on 3g or 4g. Even when the phone is showing full signal, calls are always breaking up or dropping. On 2g I don't face this problem. (Airtel, delhi) - not a slick experience,like i experienced using nexus devices. My next phone is going to be Qualcomm. If you are considering this, wait for moto g5 plus. And if you can't wait, look elsewhere.

If you consider GAMING as a criteria I'd suggest going for a phone with SNAPDRAGON CPU and ADRENO GPU. Although mid range phone's have Snapdragon 615-617 and not 808-820 yet 615-617 give good gaming performance than exynos or mediatek chipsets even when playing high end games. Snapdragon 615-617 phone's have heating issues I know. But any chipset that gives good gaming performance is bound to heat no big deal. No lagging effect while high end gaming on SNAPDRAGON-ADRENO. If you are looking for a gaming mid range go for Moto g4 Plus. Hope this helped

Disappointing phone from Moto...i can see now how Lenovo cheap policies are spoiling brand like Moto. Seems like they'll descend to level of Micromax. Its quick and responsive Loud speakers are really loud Cons: Overheating issue even with normal usage - taking pics also heats up the phone Bad battery backup for a phone with 3050mah battery - expected atleast 7 hrs with normal usage. It however gives only 3-4 hrs(even if left idle) Camera quality is bad for the pixels mentioned in the specifications. Most of the pics appear blurred. My HTC phone with lower MP gives much better quality(i used HTC butterfly). Phone hangs even with 3-4 multiple apps Not sure if there would be a software update to resolve this issues.

Fingure print sensor really fast. Pictures taken are at par. Splash proof. Just go for it. Don't think its a beautiful premium full metal body phone. This phone i bought from india is made in China. But other moto phones including g4, e3 & z are made in india. There is no moto gestors or actions and no moto display . Instead they put DOLBY ATMOS! Its mediatek! Yeah.. less heating.. But the problem is the performance (gaming especially) is poor and battery drains quick. . Mediatek compromised in performance to reduce heating i think.. . No laser autofocus, avaerge camera. . Don't know why they made Moto M ..! Made for china ... Why launched in India and fooled us?? And why not launching in USA? moto devices are launching first in USA.. I know, they will kick ur butt if launch this kind of stuff in USA. At least out Moto display in it! . But, device is usable.. DON'T TRUST YOUTUBE VIDEO REVIEWS AND WHO ARE GIVING 5 RATING REVIEWS. after checking all the status on phone HONESTLY i am giving phone review. i am not heavy user. not heavy gamer. still mobile giving problem means this model is defect one. pro: mobile working speed is expected. internal memory they gave 64gb. remaining 50gb you can use personnel use. finger scanner is working accurate and speed. phone is looking awesome. premium quality. con: 1. camera is too worst compare to low cost mobile. i check in all the whether. only complete day light i.e. at 1pm too hot in outside in that time only camera working fine, image will look good. medium lighting and night time it's too worst. all images are noise and blur. 2. coming to battery also not good. after doing of full charge, using with wifi with in 3 hrs battery will dry completely, you need to do charging for that. 3. in g4 plus they gave some technical software's for easy use but they never gave any software in moto m. as my experience 18k spending on this mobile is waste. now onward you will buy anything in flipkart depend on latest return policy definitely you will face irritated service from flipkart. this is my last transaction in flipkart, i never buy anything in future.

Just bought a G4 plus. Its not bad. its good. But Moto x play and galaxy j7 are better than g4 plus and hence better than Moto M. in 12000-16000 rs range. Camera screen battery and speakers , in all aspects.

Pros: 1.cheap. 2. camera not so bad in day light. 3. build looks nice. Cons: 1.My previous phone was samsung a5.. was almost half the weight this is.. He guys i got my MOTO M (3Gb & 32Gb ) on 17th Dec. Looking very much premium in Hand due to full metal body, screen clarity is awesome , processor is very fast , no lag during multitasking, or playing heavy games, finger print scanner is very responsive , everything is good but both rare & front camera is not that much good that i expected & battery performance is pretty average , Fast battery charging is mentioned in Specification but not written anywhere in the box, it takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hour for full charge, Overall nice phone, but i thought price is slightly high compare to other's i.e xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K5 Note etc....

Buy a phone that might probably uprgade to or is already in Android Nougat. Hardware specs are good enough until you have the latest software to go with it. Having a highly specced phone with an outdated OS is a big downer, with no latest updates to give the best security possible. Go for Moto Z if you have that budget or go for Moto G Play to be budget friendly.

Awesome phone.. Exchanged with my G4plus. I was bored with the plastic build of G4.. This one is gret! The gold colour is not like other phone's shampine gold.. Its shining metallic gold. No performance difference between G4plus and M. But, camera not great like G4. Display is somewhat similar. Build quality and design is far better than G4. Heating is less compared to G4. But i miss moto actions.

The playing of video is very bad. Complete screen in colored with vertical lines, glitches as if we are running scratched CD. I tried with youtube, different websites and even with video call. Cant see anything on the screen but the scattered color.
