This is my one of the all time favourite phones. Now I'm using Note 9, but still miss that little buddy. Great quality, good camera, ok battery and pure android. Fluid for every day tasks. I was having a 4gb model and didn't face any lags etc. Only problem that I have was a earpiece. People's didn't hear me good. That's was my only problem with this phone. Consider to buy some used in good condition for low price.

No chance for Android 10. this month is after 2 year's of Moto X4 release.i.e., after software support period. they intentionally release at this June-Aug period to avoid 3rd update. X4 release at Aug2017 with Nought and later update to oreo and pie and say thankyou for the purchase.

I have still not found any newer phone that I want to replace my Moto X4 as my daily used phone! I like the dedicated always on fingerprint reader on the front below the screen and the excellent front facing speaker that is also used during phonecalls, and the size of the phone is perfect for one hand use, and Snapdragon 630 is fast enough for everything I use my phone to do, and the camera is good enough for my needs!

I have one, I got tired of bigger phones that pull down my shorts. It's lightweight and easier to hold. It's a solid 7/10. My only complaint is the 3GB of ram, other than that it still gets updates and has all the bells and whistles you want in a smartphone. Great battery life and decent cameras. A selfie queen would appreciate the front flash too.

I am using Motorola X4 since 1st December 2018. Over all it's user friendly. Very easy to handle. Battery life is very good. Even after heavy usage, battery is able to sustain for 1 complete day. Camera shortcut & torchlight shortcut is very handy to use. Motorola updates are also on time to time. Recently I had been to Goa. There I dropped my phone in Sea for almost 3-4hrs & immediately I dropped my phone in swimming pool for almost an hour. Also next day I again dropped my phone in swimming pool for almost 1/2 a day. Nothing happened to my phone. It's working absolutely fine. Thanks to Motorola for making such a great & compact phone. Draw back:- Cannot click pics under water as screen gets locked all the time.

Bought this to replace my Nexus 5x due to bootloop. X4 definitely runs smoother but wish it had the fingerprint sensor on the back since that's what i've gotten used to.The one big negative I'd say is how slippery the phone is. My previous phones all had a rubberish backing and on the sides. X4 can slip out of your hand pretty easily so will need a case of some sort for better grip unfortunately. I've never needed a case this phone definitely requires something for a better grip and feel in your hand.

I received my replacement X4 unit about 2 weeks after taking advantage of its warranty after it stopped charging one day. now the replacement phone quit working. just went into a black screen and don't respond to any kind of power button holds combinations. just died. so 2 out 2 phones were bad. that tells me that it's not a very well built device...

I think update are a two point issue. First it can depend on what country you're in. It seems that moto releases to India first then USA and on from there. Next it also depends on your carrier. Some are much slower than others with Moto rollouts.

This is one of the best mid-ranged phones of its time in the US market. I have the Android One version. I love the frequent updates. I've already gotten 2 major version updates. I'm on Android 9 and get monthly security updates. Good build quality and is waterproof. It has some of the Moto customization but still feel very stock android which is a plus in my book. I LOVE the ax chop for toggling the flashlight function without unlock.

The difference from Android One version is custom Moto apps: Moto Display, Moto Camera, Moto Actions with fingerprint button navigation. Those apps are pretty useful, Android One users complain that they don't have them (not sure if it's possible to install them). Although Moto Actions quickly drain the battery in standby mode: I had to disable it to get decent battery life and have to live without "chop-chop flashlight" and "twist camera". Fingerprint navigation still works though, but not the Night Display, surprisingly. Another surprise that Moto Display is very savvy. But Moto Camera is just the opposite and will drain full battery in 4 hours. As well as other apps using Camera, including different video chats. Unfortunately for me, I use those a lot.

Comparison show G7 Plus is better than X4. G7 Plus has camera with OIS,27W turbocharger in box,better SoC,better GPU ,stereo speakerexcept IP68. If G7 Plus have SD660 then it can create buzz in market But I am sad that there is no more Moto X series. RIP to X series due to Lenovo :(

X4 with 32 and 3 is now $149 at B&H $199 for the 64/4 that makes is very compelling. Most folks in US are getting updated to 9 when firing up phone new.

The difference between X4 and X4 android one is not so much. Moto X4 4th generation has inbuilt integration with Amazon Alexa which is not in X4 Android One. There is not major difference in UI both are clean STOCK Android. X4 Android One is available with Project Fi. Both are on now Android 9(It may be last because Moto X4 was launched with Android 7). Frank opinion Moto X4 is now older device better go with new device. I think if you really want to but Motorola better go with brand new G7 series. Especially G7 Plus because it has 27W Turbopower charger and Camera with OIS which is very rare with midrange device. X4 rare feature are IP68 Water-Dust resistant, 4 bluetooth devices connectivity at one time, metal-glass design,type-c, fast-charging(15W). I am using moto X4(6+ 64) in India from last 1 year I never faced any problem except slow update. But speaker quality is not good because ear-piece is itself speaker. Better go with brand new G7 series or upcoming Z series. Because X4 may not get Android 10 or further.

The "ONE" model is built for the Google Fi service (google this for info). It is a very bare bones Android. I got the normal model when it first came out in the USA and love it, I put a TPU cover on it as the glass back is slippery and to protect it. The current prices look GREAT.

You are comparing budget and mid-range phones, Homer: there is no match. But I would recommend anyone to stay away from Motorola phones from any niche for at least one generation: They started to produce this low quality fragile junk that breaks within weeks. My X4 cracked within days - being in a pocket, in a protective case. So IP68 went down the crack. Read G6 and Z3 reviews: everyone is complaining about the same thing (in addition to bad reception for G6 and bad battery for Z3). And Motorola doesn't repair their phones: they expect you to pay for replacement - just to get the same fragile cr..! Thinking about resurrecting my broken G3, on a pet cemetery or wherever...

If you have a Moto X4 updated to Android Pie 9.0 you have got Device Health Services app installed on your device. Just check in Settings > Apps & Notifications > and search in all apps installed.

Yes, you can hardly see anything on X4 screen in the sunlight. Does anyone know how to boost X4 max brightness in Auto mode? Almost every other (Moto) phone gets extra 30% brightness in max Auto compared to max Manual. But not X4, seems like a software limitation.

So is it your "first" or "best", make up your mind :) This is how M writes fake reviews (on their site): They put my review on hold for 2 days "for moderation". As soon as they confirmed "it's live" I went online and saw it, with "posted 2 day ago" timestamp. But there was already another one on top, "posted 1 hour ago". 5-star of course, praising X4 screen after switching from "flagman". The blue toned screen with lousy brightness, seriously!? I get it, M, you don't need 2 days to moderate your own reviews. No surprise that most of the negative reviews are followed by 5-star ones exactly 2 days later.

before sleep and after sleep only 3% drop in my case. mobile (signal network) and wifi (data) on. bluetooth, gps off. i disabled the duo, gboard ( using google indic keyboard ), google, play movies, music, google photos ( using xda quickpic gallary ), hangout, LinkedIn, outlook, messages ( using textra app ), time and weather.

On the topic: X4 is a very unpractical and fragile device. Back panel cracked literally days after purchase - being in my pocket, in a protective case. Not a warranty case of course, according to M. And they don't bother with repairs - only offer replacements. If not the crack, would return it: it felt like battery was draining too quickly. (Was planning to switch to A8 that seemed to be the best all around mid range phone for 2018.) Being stuck with X4, did more battery testing: with half of the programs and services disabled (including Moto Display and Google Play), battery still loses 5% overnight in airplane mode. And M bloatware does its best to p... users off: Moto Update annoys with update notifications several times a day; MotoCare drains battery without any options to be disabled or stopped (other than rooting). What kind of care is it?

They work on updates its not like google is pushing it out for that device. motorola works on this. they know whats best for their product. also, latest software updates always have security updates, performance updates because they have more management on the operating system. and new features. so that comment saying that its not worth it. is dumb. cause everything improves over an update. otherwise there wouldnt be an update if it was the best for whatever product it was.

Don't understand the buzz about upgrading to the latest Android anyway: each phone model was developed targeting a certain OS version, both feature and performance wise. You will most likely lose in both areas after upgrading. Especially when jumping over 2 OS versions (from original X4 Nougat to Pie). My previous phone (Nokia 3, piece of junk regardless) has become extremely slow and totally unusable after upgrading to the memory hungry Oreo.

Not getting the Pie update might be a good thing, Homer Simpson, people complain about losing beloved functionality (e.g. camera features), in addition to getting stuck with google search box on the home screen: I personally exercise in killing Motorola Update service after every reboot - to avoid the annoying update notifications. dont know, why people are giving negetive feedback . in my opinion this is the best phone for the price. snapdragon 630, 6 gb ram , pie 9.0 updated, usb type C and best camera. i tried other camera phones in this price range. this is giving best natural colour output. i am using 5volts*2amp charger and not facing any heating issue. i disabled some apps like outlook, LinkedIn, play movies, music, photos, google and i am getting very good battery backup. disabled google photos app and using xda quickpic gallery app for photo view. only con is small screen.

today i received android 9 update no dual volte even after pie security patch till 1 nov (i think its the last ever) the display clock on lock screen is even more dim n barely visible in daylight (unless u increase the screen brightness) overall mobile was much better on nougat (my opinion)

Mine goes to service for bad outgoing and after 1 month they told that cant repair it. Very sad bcoz i like it much. Great device, fast, good camera, good battery life, great design and display. Overall great complete package. From the store didnt have X4 already and must take other phone so i choose Huawei Mate 20 Lite... Now i see how better was Moto. Great phone.

I too went from a G5S (now my wife's) to the X4. No complaints on the sound quality or volume on either. But I'm not the best to judge as I ware hearing aids. 8^) In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida sounds good to me from the X4.

I see that there are many lucky people here because my XT1900-7 version only has a security patch from last August. Neither 8.1 nor of course 9.0

Remember the X series is a midrange phone and to keep costs down it likely will never have the best features. Don't get me wrong, I really like my X4 but it's not a top of the line phone like from Samsung or Google. Moto is big in India and other countries and those markets don't do well with thousand dollar phones.

The X4 is a perfect phone on its construction, performance and update policy since it will receive Android 9.0. The only thing that is not good is its camera, the Moto Camera is pretty bad, but the rest is a very good phone.

Have you ever used Moto X4? What you are saying about ip68 certification, ionized aluminum etc. is based on specifications everyone knows on paper but reality maybe different. Try to understand, I am not saying that the Mobile is bad to use nor I am against the brand. Software wise it is nice to use. My only gripe is regarding its hardware used for protecting Camera lense glass cover which is too much fragile to tolerate even one centimeter hight drop on floor.

Though camera hardware are good, stock camera software is not up to mark Good in good light condition, not at all the best. Noise level is too high. You need to use filter for each photo clicked. its pathetic in low light condition. You need to install Gcam app for better result. this phone is not at all for camera lovers. Camera usage drain battery very fast.

Well, i own both :P Verdict, X4 is a better phone than Nokia 6.1. But the tricky question is, is it worth the price difference :) X4 is a delight to hold in hand, its comfortable and looks premium. Nokia is at par with performance, but not much handy to hold and use. It definitely feels more sturdy and durable than X4 though.

The Moto X4 is way more comfortable to hold in my opinion. The Nokia 6.1 has really sharp edges. They both have the old school 16:9 aspect ratio screens although the Nokia is larger. The most significant difference in my opinion is that the Nokia is an Android One phone so it will get two years of platform updates. I doubt the X4 will. On the other hand the X4 is better optimized and feels smoother in daily operation while the Nokia gets kinda sluggish off and on during the day.

Try to do factory reset (after backing up data) or ask service center to flash fresh firmware. mostly it can be software issue

I think that the screen going off on a call is normal. It should happen if you put you phone up to your ear when on a call so you don't hit buttons on the screen. Can't help with the other issues.

Need help! Here is my story.... had to send my Moto X4 for repair/check-up after it stopped charging using the original charger. The repair was very quick and I received it within 5 days. But I noticed the bluetooth radio seems broken or damaged as I cannot connect with my wireless headphone; the bluetooth is actually turned on, my wireless headphone is fully charged and after clicking Refresh 100x still doesn't see and connect to my headphones. Second issue: the screen is black during an incoming call. I can hear the ringtone but the screen is pretty much dark. Any comment or help please?!

I am also on stock without root, & installed scrubber_GCam_5.1.018.apk, you just need to flash apk, that's it & it working great that stock Motorola camera app.

As such it requires a little practice with swiping of finger on fingerprint for back and multitasking. The way ppl claim that it judges ur swipes in wrong way, same way after a lot of practice it is beyond what some can imagine. For me it is too good now. Initially i was irritated too and i like it when people cant use my phone. Suppose i am in wats app typing a message and same instant i had to see something on net, without thinking or seeing xactly where to touch, a left swipe (puts keyboard down), a right swipe (multitasking pane) and then u see where to touch. the process is considerably faster. If any of you remembers the advent of qwerty keypads, how quickly people use to type, same way it allows u an easier and faster route to access. Bezels definitely is a disappointment and more disappointing is the fading gap between x and g series. I dont even understand what is the difference left between the two now. X series was top of the line, had better processors earlier and voice commands were superb in X2. Here with X4 voice commands have gone one step down (x2 had a few commands that used to work 24x7 by your voice without internet) instead of increasing those commands its now down to 0. "ok google" only you can say as activation keyword earlier it was the only phone which was so well personalized that you had to name it. Mine was shadow (it was black and always around to listen) as soon as i wud give command listen up shadow it will wake up to listen to command and respond. Motorola is on a wrong track. Design team has been replaced i guess.

I'm using 6gb/64gb model in india since 4 months now and i must say the phone works great. Has all the smartphone functions + waterproof and amazing battery life(very important) . Rear camera is not very great but descent. Gestures are good and very helpful. Sound quality while calling is great. Overall more then worth at 25k@Flipkart.

I'm dont have problem with bezels. Pixel 2 have same or even bigger bezels but is nice device. Moto X4 also is dope one. For me personally, with all that bezelles phones, design goes in background. Performance is good enough for every day tasks. I have 64/4gb model and can't complain at all. All sensors works fine. Camera is good. Battery decent. Bought it for 235€ and I'm satisfied.

People who saying this phone is slow not use it correct or make something wrong. Have this device more than 6 months and can tell that it flying. No hangs, freezes, crashes etc. More than 5 times wash it and didnt have problems at all. Yes is waterproof. Only think that is not too good is camera. Average. That's it. Other is b*shi*s...

Don't get this phone and definitely don't believe the IP68 rating - you will be charged the price of a new phone when you try and get it repaired. The build quality seems nice but it actually poor.

I use voice commands a lot and one that I'm having issues with the after I set an alarm I can't get assistant to come alert when I need to say "dismiss alarm". Since the button for turning off the alarm this is the only way I have found silence it. Battery seems to run down faster but that might be some new app I installed. I've used the new messages web interface on my PC. That works good. I think message uses wi-fi for texts now but not 100% sure. My icons are smaller but that might be some setting that reset. I now have 5 across where it was 4 before. Haven't looked at settings much but likely some changes there. I OK with thus update to 8.1.

v8.1 update over v8.0 is no big deal. Just a few minor GUI changes. Plenty of sites will explain just Google for it. I got my 8.1 update on Tuesday night very late. I'm in the USA. p.s. You also get the May security patches with the upgrade.

After Oreo the sound quality during phonecalls is horrible/unusable, so I hope there is an update very soon! The problem with Motorola is their horrible quality control, some phones are perfect while just as many have some fatal problem! X4 is my absolutely last phone from Motorola! (My G4 was perfect but my G4 Plus was a total disaster!)

There are Android One versions and in your country ( India) there is a 6 GB RAM version !!! In Amazon you can buy it for 248 euros. Just picked up an X4 myself (got two actually, one for my wife as well) at £199 it is an absolute steal. Your point about future support is valid however, why could Motorola just make this an Android one device across all markets? It wouldn't take much on their part and greatly simplify the software supports aspect for them going forward.

With the new G6 phones out I must admit i still feel a bit underwhelmed but not unlike last year. The SD450 can almost easily match the 625 (but not the X4's 630) and I very much welcome the pseudo-water resistance, bigger screen to body ratio, an e-compass/magnetometer (finally) and Dolby Audio. ( though in the UK i still think The G6 and the G6 Plus is at least £30 more expensive for their specs) But would you say it is safe to assume that Lenovo-Moto will still support the X4 in the next 12 months or so with continous security updates and the much awaited Android P?

What I would like to know is if installing directly the Google Camera apk file from APKMirror, the app works right on my Moto X4, since It's a phone that I have got since a very short time, it has cost me a lot of money and I'm afraid of spoiling the software. Its up to you. Only for info.... Milions of people use such apk's and that's the advantage of Android over iOS. Much open os with much more opportunities. Customization and freedom to use apps that is not from Play store is one of the things that make Android my choice. You are iOS type of user i think. But its not bad... Its your phone... Pretty much everything works. I think on last versions motion captures didnt, but thats not a issue to me. As for the requirements... For the most recent versions you need Oreo, so no problem. Moto x4 already is on Oreo. Use xda forum to take it. Moto x4 have subforum there so you will find useful stuffs. Cheers.

Google camera. Im using modet one. Ver. 5.1.016... You can find much recent versions in xda or 4pda. This particular version give best images for me. Much better than stock camera app.

Rear camera is good, but the stock camera app is crap. I tested captures with stock and gcam and results are clear. With stock one most of the pictures have less details and bad focusing. Results from gcam are much, much better. Something wrong with stock app. After shot processing make pictures worst. Right after you take the shot, pictures looks good and clear, but few seconds later going lorst. Generally camera sensor is capable to get a decent photos.

I'm not even touch phones that you mentioned, but on paper LG G6 looks verry good choice. At least camera seens to be better than Moto x4 one. Battery is the question... P10 also seems good... Idk... I can easily say, that Moto x4 fits to my needs and didn't miss something, but maybe will say same and for other phones. Maybe emui will keep me away from Huawei, but thats me. Like the stockish feel on Moto, plus fast updates and waterproof. It is important to me. So, yes think that not help much to you, but its matter of personal needs and decision. Many thanks for the reply. I'm gearing towards getting the X4 than the G5S Plus which has more negatives than positives. I strongly believe in timely/quick updates that makes our phones even better; yes I know about Lenovo buying Motorola and updates did became slower but we can only pressure them by emailing them our suggestions and complaints in the hope they will listen and consider our suggestions on future updates.

z force is a high end device and there should be a good amount of price gap between the two so you tell what are your priorities as per that only some suggestions can be made. If price tag is not concerned and performance is all that matters then you can definitely opt for z.

nothing much special about xa1... its just another device from sony. It has a much bigger and heavier body. Camera although i havnt used xa1 but still if i tell by a guess it should be better than moto x4 but i dont think with a huge margin it can win coz scope of improvement in terms of camera in moto x is really less (provided you use google HDR+ app). Processor and Stock android interface of moto x will definitely make it faster and snappier than sony. X4 is ip68 which is lacked by xa1 (do check may be i am not aware). Both have reversible c type ports. X4 has bluetooth 5.0 while xa1 is using older 4.2 (not a big deal for many but it is for those who use bluetooth earphones or speakers). More or less both are same but deal breaker for me in xa1 is its processor and slightly slower performance as compared to X4. what else you want to know do tell.

It is on oreo already. One of the earliest devices to get oreo update. It is fully stable for me. Camera update has been there once that reduces shutter lag in depth mode but i personally dont like it as much as i like google pixel camera software so i dont care about that update as i have google hdr+ camera which has drastically improves results. And can only be installed on snapdragon 630 (when i installed it was like this, i dont know if it is now available for other devices) battery life some people may complain about but i am not a big fan of huge batteries that make phones bulkier and heavier. I am a normal user and it lasts for me exact one day. Fast charger is nothing less than superb. upto 70% it is really really quick after 90% only it slows down to a disappointing speed but i charge it 100% only twice a week. 80% gives me one day of usage. (remind you i am not a phone addict). Updates i dont think are required any... i am satisfied with what it delivers. and when i say this i mean i am a person who knows mobiles and gadgets inside out as a product designer. Its a good device. If you want a 18:9 full bezel less display then you look for LG G6 or one plus 5t. But this phone is still better than both of em in a few ways. - 1) build 2) IP 68 (g6 also has it), 3) Stock Android, 4) faster updates, 5) Awesome voice command recognition which is simply unbeatable (3 dedicated mics for this purpose) 6) Bluetooth capabilities like no other phone in market. Speaker sounds very good in terms of quality. But i dont think people will consider it loud. I dont use phone speaker at all. I have a pair of bluetooth headsets moto surround that works good with its bluetooth 5.0. If you learn how to utilize its every feature it becomes best deal for the price. only those can complain who either look for on paper specs or who want a bezel less display. Otherwise a person who knows how to use it can put competitor devices on shame.

using 4 GB variant and no major issues so far (even after update to oreo)... People might say battery drain and other stuff but its all psychological and also depends on apps installed. In terms of stock software I cant complain except for one thing which was there in older version as well - all time listening to voice commands is capable of unlocking the device for owner even from a good distance (thanks to 3 dedicated mics), but sometimes i dont know why even after recognising the voice you have to unlock it with fingerprint. Although problem resolves with a restart but its annoying because i use those voice commands a lot just to test what is this device actually capable of? Trust me no other device in the market will listen to its owner's voice like it can. I can use it from a distance of 2 meters. (every other phone be it apple, pixel or samsung has to be kept very close to make it work).

I have read that Moto X4 users when upgrading from Android 7.1 to 8.0 are having issues and failures. However I also read that the new Moto X4 with 6GB RAM that has been presented and is selling in India and that takes Android Oreo 8.0 series doesn't have any failure thanks to the corrections that are implemented. This phone is ridiculously slippery. Did they do no user testing? The thing slides off and around everything, which is not only very annoying, but it makes it much more likely to get broken. What an incredibly poor design decision. I would have sent it back but I got it right before going overseas on a business trip and so I had no time. Now I am stuck with this annoying phone for awhile until I get back to the states and can sell it and find something else.

Having this phone from first day it was availabkle here in Slovakia. Have to say its gruesome. Even for a heavy gamer. My battery last 4-6 hours depends on the game playing. Once i asleep at 1 am playing iddle miner in bed had about 95% battery and when i woke up on alarm was 7:20 morning and still 24% battery left. Really beyound my expectations.

My moto x4's back side glass (including camara glass) broke in a fall from a height of 4 ft. I ordered for replacement of the broken part in authorized service centre (in India) but its more than 20 days and no respone is received from moto service centre or customer care portal.

I'm in the USA and I got a security update. At v7.1.1 expecting v8.0 or higher soon. Setup is easy. Add your phone vendors SIM card and it may auto configure for calls. If not call their support for the settings. Only issues I had were some migration problem from my old phone. I really don't like the way the Android file system uses the added storage SD card. One of the best things about Android is that it can be customized easily. New background image, ringtones, and much more but you can put that off until you get more experience. If this is going to be your 1st phone look at the Moto G5+ real nice and saves a few $$$.

Get yourself Moto X4, wide angle camera is much useful than zoom camera on Mi 6. Android One is better than MIUI, snappy. You get IP68 water resistance on Moto X4 and it better than IP53 splash resistance on Mi 6.

install google hdr plus camera, you will not complaint about edge detection at all. Although it will use single camera lens to give you depth effect but it is worth it and far better than dual camera depth.

But it works only on Oreo. Haven't updated to Oreo as it has some bugs reported by users. Looks premium. Corning glass is treat to fingers, so smooth. I have always loved screens with Corning glass in the Moto g series also. Battery backup. Awesome. 6+ hours SOT.

Anyone got Motokey working with a Windows PC? I have my X4 connecting over bluetooth OK to my desktop but the program MotoKey Setup fails to install saying it can't find a connection. I've talked with Moto Level 2 support and they are clueless. Suggesting I need their device connected to my PC but I'm not finding any such device. I have Motokey working on the X4 and it is very cool.

If i can find a Galaxy S7 or a OnePlus 5 on the similar ballpark of £249 (which is currently the price anywhere in the UK high street) then why not. But my priorities is a true "day & a half" battery life (similar to my Galaxy A5 2017 or my old G4 Plus), water resistance (similar to my old Xperia XZ & A5 2017), a camera that performs and take photos similar to a Moto G4 Plus, Xperia XZ or iPhone 6S (at a slightly cheaper package) and good RAM/memory management similar to an iPhone or OnePlus.

Seems that camera is your major priority... My advice is to look at galaxy s7 too. He have a much better camera and now can find it at similar praise. Other option is one plus 5, which also have a top notch camera. Anyway, you can check this review if you want. Seems accurate and exhaustively. Like i said, for person's like me, who are not that camera dependent and demanding, phone works just great. Have Nikon D3300 in the end, which doing great job for moments that require more quality photos.So wish you luck with your choise and Happy New Year!

The battery life you described seems very respectable. But again battery life is very subjective and very much an individual thing. But as you said previously I will take it that your usage is somewhat on the average or moderate level. Of all the videos I have seen on Youtube (so far) the X4's camera is unconvincing vs the G5 family. The colours/sharpness/dynamic range/contrast seem "off" and "inaccurate" and doesn't represent the real world. And again, no mention of any kind of stabilization even on 1080p/30fps (or 60fps) as that for me is an absolute imprtance; 4K is a good choice but having no 4K TV and no stabilization in 4K then i'm not bothered.

11pm... 20-25% at 11pm. Most of the time. Im not exactly a camera type user, but you can find many videos about camera quality. For me, like totally enthusiast, quality and performance are good enough.My main complaint is depth mode and lack of eis on 4K video recording. Edge detection on depth mode is absolutely poor. 4K video is good but very shaky. Cant say about night pictures bcoz didn't take much. But again, lack of ois will take effect of the focus and details, I think. But again... Search on youtube and you'll find much detailed reviews.

I don't take plenty (i.e. thousands of photos) or watch Youtube all day. And I don't even have Facebook (which is the numero uno battery drain of all time) and I'm quite knowledgeable with Android in saving battery life so i think I will know how to squeeze enough juice out of that 3000mAh battery. But do you mean at the end of the day (say 9pm) you would still have about 20-30% left in the tank? That's good if the shutter speed is faster now. But I want to know about the camera quality and performance in general. How about telling us about low light shots? Overexposure on bright backgrounds or surroundings? Any purple/orange fringing when on night or on direct light? Is there resolved detail i.e. the corners and backgrounds subjects appear as sharp and slightly blurred out? Are the photos tend to be on warmer or cooler side? Is the actual photo close to what you actually see - is it contrasty or bland in colour? It would be great to know these things.

I mean after few camera software updates, now shutter speed is better than bfor. Watter proof is like it should be. No problem at all. Wash it few times already. No damage. Apps opens instantly. No lag etc. For battery... All day without any problems for me. I didn't play games. Facebook, Youtube, Google plus, Instagram, Browser, Camera. Plug in to charger most of the time on 20-25% Battery life is very good.

After few updates camera works better now. I'm sure after oreo they will improve even more. Battery life is awesome. Fast charging is great. Battery backup is great. Ram management is one of the things that can be improved. For example, i have installed 82-86 apps, most used fb, viber, chrome, youtube, google plus and instagram, in background and have around 1,0-1,3gb free ram constantly. I feel low ram state once when put a rainpaper live wallpaper. Then ram was around 600-700mb free. For me phone works well. Mine is 64/4gb. System storage is little bit more. Use around 16.44gb which is too much i think. Overall phone is solid.

I update via my wi-fi directly to the phone. The time it takes depends on your network speed. Direct to my phone doesn't take long on my 350Mb/s wi-fi.

Most of the time screen on time is around 6hrs to me. Depends of what i'm using, but 5-6hrs is like standard. Stand by time can be better in my opinion. Feels like it not that great.

With above average usage i get one day. And charging speed is also good. Not as good as one plus 5 (that is awesome), but this one is i believe 2nd best (there might be some costlier phones that can charge slightly faster) but definitely unbeatable at the price. I never checked screen on time but definitely it is beyond 6 hours for me as i use light apps. M not a fb user. Little bit of quora, lots of wats ap, some camera usage (every now and then someone comes to see the quality so you consider 20 shots a day or 10-12 mins of viewfinder being turned on at an average). phone dies for me by 8 PM everyday. i charge and then sleep. Which takes 1.5 hours for a complete charge (which I do only once a weeK), as such i go upto 88% charge every night and my day starts from 80% charge that lasts till evening 8.

Thanks. I have been talking with Moto Support Level 2 on Moto Key and they are pretty clueless. Works well on the phone but not with my Win Desktop. Just found a long article on it so will have to read it over. As for the icons, I found that setting and have a compromise of 4 x 4 that is OK. Thanks for the feedback.

18:9 is not that bad in fact you may start liking it once you start using it. honor 7x looks good but surely moto x has a better build. Also i am not sure about the performance of the device although reviews are good. I have no idea of mediatek processors so cant comment. Q6 very bad processor so out of question. G5 plus is something that lacks a dual camera but i can tell you without thinking twice dual camera is a gimmick and that blurr can be achieved by a 2 MB software installed through playstore. Although it wont be that simple but once you master it it will be even better than the dual camera gimmick. And for sure g5 plus has best camera among all of mid range phones. I am using x4. Its camera is not bad (definitely you have to install google hdr+ because stock app is laggy and not that good. But for some particular shots it is more capable so i am using both depending on the shot. I can share images if anyone wants to see). Point is that if camera is priority - low light , natural colors g5 plus is unbeatable. f1.7 helps it a lot. Mi a1 is also not a bad phone . It does not have that crappy interface of xiaomi plus portrait mode (that 2 MB software) works the best in this device. Moto x4 also cant compete (but perhaps with google hdr+ lens blur it may give better shots as i have not compared side by side yet). So mi a1 is for stock android and portrait mode. U11 not worth. Nokia 7 - Can be considered. depends on price. Its camera will be able to compete with g5 plus in terms of quality which no other can do in whole lot. So might be a tough competitor to x4. Its just that x4 has the build, wide angle lens (barely usable but still if you are creative enough you can), IP 68 (no other has), Voice commands (awesome which hardly any phone has in this range), USB C, very good quality speaker and definitely one of the best IPS displays. Camera has to be installed (google HDR+ from XDA developers) rest of the things in this phone are better than what anyone can offer for this price.

icon size setings- Settings > Display > Display size ( i did not understand your problem fully but this might help I guess moto key will not work on windows 7 as it was released in 2009 and the moto key itself is a new feature released in 2017 only so very less chances are there that it will be compatible with that but still you should talk to motorola help center if they will be able to tell.

Anyone know how to get the icon size to show 4 across and 5 rows? I'm just getting 4 x 4 with the same setting as on my G5+. I'm not counting the basic icons across the bottom of each screen. Also, Moto Key on my Desktop (Win 7 x64) won't install.. I run the setup and it says I need a Bluetooth connection. I have that can play music from phone to PC. Any suggestions?

The One X4 is the Google version with Project Fi. The normal one from other retailers or even direct from Motorola is at v7.1.1.

Just got my X4 for Christmas, replacing my G5+. Starting converting over last night. So be able to tell you in a couple of days. 1st thing I've noticed is that v7.1.1 icons are different size (default) and adjusting them drops a row.

I have Huawei Mate 10 Lite bfor x4. Its pretty much the same like 7x. Wifi, camera, speed is much worse than Moto x4. If your only requirement is 18:9, than go for 7x. Huawei is big company, but... Just see last devices from them. Honor 9 Lite. Honor 7X. Mate 10 Lite. Honor 9i. Nova 2i. Same devices or pretty much the same with few minor changes, but with different names. Idk... Use this Mate 10 Lite for about two weeks and get rid off it. And have some very annoying bug with youtube Sometimes when exit from video, phones freeze and stay unresponsive for about minute. This think happens 1 of 20 times but is irritating. When move back to moto device was like ohhh yeah... But you will see...

The phone is nice but no 18:9 ratio. Not a deal breaker but still. I am either going for Honor 7X or this. LG Q6 isn't practical, Moto G5 Plus doesn't have dual camera. G5s Plus doesn't make too much use of it's second camera, Mi A1 and Redmi 5 Plus is Chinese. U11 Life has Plastic Body. Nokia 7 will come late to the international stores.

If you didn't fan of full view, 18:9, screens, and if you wont to save some cash, moto x4 is good. I have it for about a month now and may say that the phone is dope. Battery, camera, speed, screen, all good. Sound is think that is not that great. Btw now starts upgrades to Oreo. I do not like huge smartphones and didnt want to spend 1k for phone, so happy with this one. You can see if in spain One+5/5T is on close price, bcoz this is the better alternative to me. Overall it fits all my needs. Decent camera, good battery life, fast enough and good display.

I think they have something that can bring them good sales. The brand itself still attracts buyers. Personally, I do not like their flagship series. Before taking X4 I was in dilemma whether it was Z2 Play. It was almost the same money. But somehow I do not attract the Z series design and modules. They will hardly retreat from this line, but in the lower segment they have a field of creation. In my opinion, this price range can be imposed through the X series. This is the first model for two years. For starters, it seems solid enough. Let's see how X5 will be. I hope to go towards sustainability. Waterproof, dust-proof, etc. I think there will be success.

Sadly but old style moto's never came back. I have Moto g3 and X Style. Now moto is part of Lenovo and this has its influence. Unfortunately. Nevertheless, the phone has its strengths. Yes, the X series is no longer flagship, and this should not be overlooked. The X4 is slightly above the middle class, and I think it's a pretty good and decent model. As for being slippery ... Even if it is not, you would hardly leave it without a case.So, this is something that is required if you keep your stufs in good condition. I'm happy with the phone.

No customization, no amoled display, not much ergonomic, big bezels, slippery, with shining body... not my choice. I see you're a little bit confused here. There are 2 versions of this phone: the standard version and the Android One version. The standard version comes with Moto's version of Android, which is almost stock Android with only a few tweaks (like Moto gestures, etc), and in this case Lenovo is the one taking care of software updates, so these might take a while to be released. The Android One version comes with pure stock Android with almost no tweaks (kind of Pixel/Nexus version of Android). In this case, the software updates come directly from Google, and this means faster updates and slightly better performance than the standard version. The thing is the Android One version is only available in the US through Project Fi (Google's mobile virtual network operator), so getting your hands on one of these might be hard if you don't live in the US. I suggest you go with the standard version since Moto's version of Android is almost stock and there's almost any difference with the Android One version aside from slower updates.

See if one is a samsung buyer or xiaomi buyer, he has to look for a reason not to buy. I will also do the same if i am changing the brand priority. While shifting to xiaomi i will look for perfection in that device so same goes here - Yes true that RAM management is not as good as others while comparing side by side but none of the buyer will ever feel that its a problem because it doesnt matter at all. Usually while sitting idle we humans keep on swiping finger on our phones. In this process i always kill all apps. So doesnt matter to me. It will somewhat matter to those who keep the all the apps open in background. Otherwise new app opening is faster in this phone than all the competitors except. Only it has to reload almost all apps (which is not actually slow) takes a sec or two extra against the phone which is already keeping those apps open in the background.

i was also concerned about that but lemme tell you something that will cheer you up - ok google voice commands work flawlessly from locked screen. Hard to say if any other phone from any brand can do that "this well". If you speak slightly louder you can control your commands from about 3-4 feet away without any issue (No Ambient Noise Should be there). Google assistant is improved upto a considerable level. Its talking more like a human rather than a robotic voice. You can choose between male and female voice. And if net speed is good you will be amazed the way it responds. Its quick. Your voice itself unlocks the phone. (Even if there is fingerprint, pattern or password lock). You can just give a command at 3am from your bed and set the alarm, increase decrease volume and brightness, control you tube (but can not take back control once it starts to play). Google search. and stuff like that. So makes high level sense.

Mine is 4/64gb and to be honest, I'm pretty much happy with the phone. Runs very smooth. Camera is decent. Battery life is good. Hand friendly device. Good display. Os will be updated in future. Look of the phone is pleasant to the eyes. Micro sd card for usual stuff. This is what i need. So to me its a good buy. Yep... Have so many phones out there, so everyone must decide what he wants and need... Only downside on Moto x4 to me is camera software. Must be much more snappier. Also depth effect must be fixed. I believe with future updates this things will be fixed.

Mate 10, GS8, One+5T and G6 is much more expensive devices in my country. Mate is more than twice expensive. Only LG G6 is close to Moto X4, but is around 50-60€ more. On same money are Galaxy A5 2017, Galaxy s7, Sony Xa1, Htc U11 Play. Moto is good option for its value.

only thing the meizu m6 note has over the x4 is screensize, sot and cheaper price, x4 will be better on most other things. i recommend to check out a 1080p 5.2 inch screen in real life and see if that is big enough for you. For most people it will be. Moto x4 battery charges so fast and last very long already unless you play heavy games on it which will drain battery which is normal.

had this phone for about 2 weeks now got it for $620AUD 64gb / 4gb dual sim. black colour my opinion is for the price i am very happy with the phone. camera is above average and runs smooth with no hiccups. fingerprint is very fast. only negative is the screen is nothing compared to a 4k or amoled with the scrolling you notice blurs but dont let that put you off. i recommend physically having a look at the phone because its very different than online. im quite happy with it and for the price i feel it was a good choice for me. hope that helps you guys decide

i also never got heating problem, battery never goes above 30°C unless its charging, then it goes a little higher. i dont play games and only charge in 25% bursts though. and i use "accubattery" to help keep the battery healthy. if u go from 0 to 100% in fastcharge or you play superintensive games, ofcourse the battery will get warm + its not healthy for the battery for it to get warm.

For ~100$s/7000Rs, Moto X4 is much better than Moto G5S Plus. I have bough both X4 and G5S Plus phones about 10 days back for my dad and mom respectively. Stand alone Moto G5S Plus is a great device. But, when you put X4 and G5S plus, the looks alone kills the G5S Plus. On top of the looks, you get better processor, IP68 certified protection, better screen (compared with G5S Plus side by side), better front camera, etc. I would definitely recommend X4 over G5S Plus. I was little skeptical about Sterling Blue color, but after receiving it I would say "Oh! man! It's just beautiful". I've bought clear cases for both the phones. I never like opaque or colored cases.

Well, I had to return to the retailer this second unit too due a problem with the front camera. Rear camera goes smooth but the front one does not actually show any image most of the time. I first thought it was a matter of some app update so I reset the phone to no vail. Very few random times it works normally but normally does not. So I'm waiting 12 working days to have it back and see if this time I'm finally a happy Motorola/Lenovo customer.

you may get alexa by update and if that happens then it means every other phone can get it but android one - NO... its pre installed OS you cant convert that. Maybe it will be possible to do so by rooting your device and downloading the android one Rom somewhere, but there is no guarantee this will work and it makes you lose warranty if you do root your phone. Anyway been using this phone the whole day now, and even without android one this phone is awesome. The stereospeakers took a while to get used to, but they're pretty good. My only real complaint is how vulnerable the back-camera is. Iphone's and many other recent phones have the same problem. They want to make the phones as thin as possible, so the camera's start sticking out. I ordered a round "camera glass screen protector" for x4, by brandname "CAPAS". They're the only decent brand that makes these kind of things for the x4.

here the A5 32gb 3gb cost 350eur, moto x4 64gb 4gb cost 380eur. A5 released in january 2017, x4 released in october 2017. I think Lenovo Moto will still be better at updates than Samsung, and even if they're just as bad... Moto x4 will still receive updates for much longer time and have more RAM, internal disk space and slightly faster CPU. But I admit, 250 is really cheap so that's definately worth thinking twice about it.

I recently got a Motorola Moto X4 from ebay, seller from US sent to Mexico. In a glance, the device looked and felt so nice but it has a huge problem, the whole audio system, in and out sounds stop working of a sudden in the first half hour of use so you are unable to hear the beep when calling a number or have an standard conversation. Besides you cannot listen to local sounds or in streaming, even playing or recording videos. Factory reset does not fix anything at all. This device is the double SIM version: XT1900-2. I already set up an return request, hoping everything goes well.

This may just be too late to the party. As early as 2nd quarter next year, this will start looking outdated with the 18:9 aspect ratio trend. Such a shame that it could've had a fighting chance if, for its price, the SoC were SD 660. I'll probably just wait for Moto X5, hopefully with at least SD 636, OIS, and a more contemporary design while keeping the IP certification and price. Too slippery! I really like the look of this phone but the shiny back, coupled with the raised rear camera bezel is a major design flaw. I had just gleefully reclaimed my sales tax at Changi Airport, Singapore, when in the washroom, I laid my phone down on what I thought was a flat surface, only to watch in horror, as thirty seconds later it plummeted to the tiled floor. Okay, the visible damage was just a chipped edge on the top left corner of my phone but that literally took the shine off my new purchase. The slipperiness continued to be an issue as the phone fell from my pocket in the departure lounge and again when it fell out onto the plane's aisle during take-off. Since the phone was just newly on sale in Singapore, I couldn't find a case for it there but ordered one from Amazon right after the three incidents. Hopefully a decent cover / case will stop my phone's lemming-like slides to self-destruction! I think Lenovo should do something about this and have some rubber or similar material to help anchor the rear surface of the phone.

I wish they had upped the memory to 4GB, but thus far I haven't had any issues with this phone. Clean display, fast response, battery life lasts all day (so far). Using this phone with a Google Fi account. It looks like Google's version doesn't have the MicroSD card slot. That was one of the big selling features for me, a little disappointed there. Not a deal breaker, but I'd have liked to up storage space. Overall, very happy with the phone. Good middle-of-the-road phone.

I really like what Moto have done with this - they've gone for "fun" features like IP68, Alexa, dual cams, radio, simultaneous Bluetooth streaming, over technical features we see in flagships. And it looks nice. Definitely has enough going for it to be my next phone but I would pay $100-$200 more for a Force edition with ShatterShield, wireless charging and more RAM. P.S. GSMarena need to update the specs a bit, it has an FM radio in most regions and this is a deal breaker for some folks

I think it is a good idea the release of Moto X4 in Android One version and finaly the existance of these variants. The consumers are free to choose whatever likes to them. It is the same phone but the software updates will be donate directly from Google. Personally i would like this to come with a few Moto pre installed applications because these Moto Actions are a tool for the consumer and they don't occupate Ram and Rom. From my point of view...it shoud be necessary a variant with display 5,5 or +...with base Ram 4 gb( and that because the device status would be more vital for the new updates to come) and absolutely with battery more than 3000. Also with more sensors and BDS-gps..!! As for the design...the present is pretty good..!!! But this is objectively from person to person. I think we can be more in openmind mode to recept the idea of Android One generally. The only thing to check out is the price ratio, from the simple OEM variant to the Androids One. Finally, is the crowd that will decide what is more usefull and attractive to them.

Bloated software is taste isuee. You can't measure this. Everyone is used or have preference for different loaders. OP services are terrbile, thats true. But P9 in my country atm is around 330 euro, s7 is 430 euro. Huawei p9 has 3 years warranty, and after year and a half no big problems reported. Don't believe moto camera would come even close to s7 or huawei. CPU of s7 and p9 is more powerful and can handle a lot more bloatware and still be faster than X4. Moto phone is great, i wanted to have it ,but for around 300 euro. For 400 is a no go for me. I can t remember mid range smartphone to cost as much as last year high-profile device and to be succesful.

Lets check p9, s7, honor 9, OP. In what aspect moto x4 is better (except ip protection and probably fast charging).. ? Maybe processor, camera, warranty duration, body ratio or what ? This is on my list of possible next phones BECAUSE it has a SD630. My current device has a SD625 (Lenovo P2) and believe me, battery life is addictive. OK this has a "normal" capacity 3000mAh battery but the SD630 will be even more efficient than ever before meaning it will get through a day no problem. Add in all the other improvements to modems and isp and you don't need anything more. In fact I wouldn't buy anything else than a device with a SD630.

A lot is being made of CPUs these days, and how many midrangers aren't equipped with top of the line CPUs. I don't see the problem here. If you check reviews, even the 625 can run most demanding games with all graphical options set to the maximum. Moreover, having a 625-630 chipset will help improve battery life. I would much rather have a bigger battery, a better/more compact build or a better camera, than a better processor, as long as we're talking 625 or better. Obviously, the 4xx line is not ideal, since many smartphones equipped with it don't run android smoothly. But anything equal or better than the 625 line is more than sufficient, especially if we are talking about lower resolution phones.

I am a big Motorola/Lenova fan. I currently have a Moto X Pure, Moto Z Play and a couple iPhones. The Moto X4 is going to be awesome. The people who are bashing the Snapdragon 630 don't know what they are talking about. Go look at the billion reviews (critics and user reviews) praising the Snapdragon 625. My Moto Z Play (625) is faster than my Moto X Pure (808) and is right there with my iPhone (A9) with my side by side test. Look at all the reviewers talking about that they can't tell the difference in performance with 625 vs high priced flagship. Battery life? I get 10 hours screen time over 3 days on 1 charge. You don't need a battery guzzling high performing processor to get great performance especially if you don't do heavy duty gaming.

One of my top criteria when I look at a new phone is compactness, so I check physical dimensions. As usual Motorola's phones are too wide and generally bulky. This new Moto X4 looks really nice but it's 73.4 mm wide compared to two other 5.2 inch phones: Samsung's Galaxy A5 (2017) at only 71.4 mm and the Honor 8 at only 71 mm wide. I like compact phones, easier to hold, but the Moto X4 defeats the purpose by being almost as wide as some 5.5 inch phones. (not to mention the unattractive top and bottom bezels which are ultra thick! Motorola needs to fire their designers!

Regarding bezels, let's be more specific about the screen to body ratio first. What minimum percentage are we aiming for? Achieving 70% ratio with dual front speakers and capacitive buttons is certainly doable. HTC One X9 already did it. That's the minimum I'm aiming for. However, going to 80% or more (you know, the minimal bezel trend) certainly must rid either the speakers set up or employ on-screen buttons. There's the trade-off. While I'm at it, Moto could be better off getting rid of its name on the front while reducing the bezel size. I would add that 4000 mAh battery not only makes two days between full charge probable but also for two to three years usage of the phone itself. I feel 2700 mAh would not make it beyond the first year without needing a replacement. Anyway, we agree on many things already ;)

Zero lag here on the Z Play with 625 and 160 apps installed. Working like in the first day I bought it with Android 7.1.1. What phones have you tried with 625 and lagged? Stop looking at the phone specs and check out the under the hood optimizations Motorola does to all their devices. This thing is going to be really really fast. Remember the first Moto X? Had 2 cores instead of 4 and it ran faster than the S4, LG Optimus G, etc running quad core processors. This phone is no different to that and it's going to be just as fast.

agree with you upto some extent. see if you want 5.5 inch display it should be within same body size by reducing the bezels. 4000 mah is huge battery increasing the weight and charging time of phone itself. Instead i will prefer just 2700 mah but tweaked in such a way that it should last longer than a day. Which pushes them to make interface even lighter and further more lagfree and snappy experience. then comes the processor - yes i agree 630 doesnt feel exciting and premium. While new all empty phone might work snappy but with heavy usage definite lags and stutters will be visible. Its a let down for x series. capacitive buttons are not required... that bezel itself has to be removed from below. why we need a bezel down there. Just make it minimal. dual front speaker would be a nice addition if bezels are supposed to be there. why not f1.7 for moto x if they already have used it for moto g with moto maker. This would have been a perfect phone for many.

I have personally used moto x2 for 2 years and voice commands are still the best compared to any other device in the market. Even after 3 years of its launch. This model is rumored to be featured with not one, but two 600 series Qualcomm Snapdragon systems on chip. I speculate that next year, the 660 SoC will become more commonplace than it has to date (especially, as Qualcomm will be able to charge higher rates to OEM's for 2018 chipset's... ), because it's usage so far, has been minimal. In years past, this pattern could be seen perhaps more often... but with the LG G6 being considered a flop ( in part because it uses a flagship chipset from last year, and also due to lackluster sales), manufacturers will likely think twice about using previous year chipset's for flagship's, but perhaps not for mid tier processors.

Based on specfication ...... Fingerprint sensor must be on back side of device "Moto Logo" but its on front side make device look okay okay only Battery Disappoint me i expect battery around 3800 to 4000 mah. Android v7.0 also disappoint me it should be atleast v7.1.1 Based on specification and look price seems much high . Overall device is okay okay I expect more I am using x-play so expectation always high ... Lenovo Kill "Motorola" Better go for Redme Miui 5

My thoughts, exactly. I was really wishing it would be SD 660 so it could be a good alternative for Honor 9 or Mi 6. But OEM's probably have the same consensus just like with the SD 652/653 last year and will only use the SD 660 for phablets yet again. And it's very likely that this will be priced at $400 to compete with Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017).

It was lenovo that time too. Not google handling it. And for your kind info : A FLAGSHIP Device have it all like : NFC, 21 MP Camera, 5.5' FHD,bigger battery & Sleek design. Also you have 4 Cortex A53 Clocked at 1.7 Ghz in X play instead of 1.5 Ghz in turbo. Also in turbo there's 5' 720p display. So we can say X play was a flagship device with a less powerful processor but with better specs. Processor matters and that's how they're degrading it.

Wish they would make small form factor mobile phone with the rumoured specs.. Something like the following would tick all my requirements just fine 5-5.2in. FHD display Dim less than145 x 70 x 8mm Better or equal to SD 630 3000mah battery. And for those ranting about SD630 being too underpowered, it is still better than SD626 of z2 play....and I would happily trade SD 8xx for SD 6xx if the performance is on par with z play and small size.(of course it needs to be cheaper too XD) As for the size of phone.....I am not one of those people with small hands...infact I own the Moto X style/pure right now and love the handset except for its size, phones were supposed to be easy to carry...not be a replacement for our laptops (-_-')..

1. This is just merely a render, the official one will most likely have the dual camera setup differently, with the dual tone flash being above the dual camera set up 2. If the change to the snapdragon 630 is true (hopefully not!), then this is really going to make some people go towards other phones since people want near-flagship specs 3. Battery, just wow :(
