Motorola Moto X Force - User Reviews

  • What do you meant by "Wifi Calling"? Did you mean that you cant do whatsapp audio / video call to other person?

  • 2k display

  • This phone is inferior. 1. It does NOT have the capability to do wifi calling. 2. Signal reception is poor. I live is a semi-rural area & my old Samsung was getting 2-3 bars reception. 3/4 of the time I net "No Service" with the Moto X. 3. deleting phone calls from history, text message or adding calls to contact lists are NOT intuitive and are cumbersome to do. Would NEVER get another Moto or any other cells made by any other companies owned by Lenovo.

  • The 2k display is awesome.

  • Right now the new microSD cards from Sandisk have 1TB of capacity ...! And actually this device (Moto X Force) is compatible with microSD cards up to 2 TB since 2015 ...! Amazing ...!!

  • Where can i get custom roms that are compatible with brazilian made x force? To avoid bricking or wifi/bluetooth death?

  • how to activate VoLTE I know there's an option on coms settings (*#*#4636#*#*) but it seems to reset itself every time I tick on it

  • where can i get the detailed process

  • Unlock bootloader install twrp Download custom rom .zip Flash it. Thanks

  • how to root this phone and put custom rom

  • Bought my X Force almost after it's launch in The Netherlands and still using it. The phone is rock solid and I've used it on 3 different network providers already (plus a couple within Europe during vacation). Dutch Vodaphone's did give some problems though with speech reception on the other hand being a bit stuttering at times. Most annoying thing (as mentioned a couple of times already) is that the security updates for this phone are pretty much outdated and that Motorola/Lenova is not updating the phone to the latest Android version, where my wife's Moto G4 already has it. I hope the phone lives on for an other 2 years until we'll have a G5 network in The Netherlands and I'll grab an other Moto once again!

  • Still using this amazing phone (the most underrated of its time) but with its last Android security patch now a year old, I'm going to have to upgrade. Moto Z2 Force seems the most sensible replacement but it annoys me that Moto cut so many corners and didn't price it competitively. I'll probably go for the Land Rover Explore as it's a rugged-yet-entertaining device.

  • Never had a rock solid phone like this. This is simply a workhorse and the performance of the camera is topnotch. It has been nearly 3 years and no signs of performance slowdown. Would get the Motorola z2 force and hope that it lives up to its predecessor.

  • This smartphone supports only 1 sim, the other slot is for memory card and I think Motorola clearly mentioned it.

  • An appalling phone with lots of faults, got lines across screen with out warning after 3 months, absolute battle to get phone looked at and repaired, Lenovo who repair them tried everything they could to get me to pay for a fault that is common knowledge, got phone back after a few months, next, went on holiday to Malta, phone packed up again, apparently Motorola phones do not like humidity !, funny that as my partners Samsung never missed a beat !, will never ever buy a Motorola Lenovo phone again, your just asking for trouble !.

  • Thank you I was worried about moving to update 7 and opinions of many people about the performance of the device in case it was updated and already most of the views were similar to the existence of problems in the software so I am now sure to keep the software 6

  • Dont do that... because i facing lot of issues after update nougat.. battery performance really worst its compare to marsmellow.. mobile getting over heating while i use whatsapp and social media apps.. so please dont update nougat

  • Hi friends, I have a Moto XForce that works well on System 6. Is there a new update for System 7? Do you recommend me to update it? Will MotoVoice stay in System 7 as it is in System 6? Does the performance of the battery become better? Who has the information to help me?

  • Expecting oreo update for this great device.

  • Same issues i am faced any solution for that

  • amazing handset, i have been giving it hard use for 2 years and it still functions perfectly, very tough screen!

  • I have buy motorola x force before 6 months , as usual in starting running good but now problem of hanging and battery drained very fast and back side cloth cover opened out, due to warranty period go at service center at ahmedabad , after 4 days they give me back mobile but backside cloth cover remain in sane condition. i called him and ask for that then he replied me its stick with gum send it again because i am free for going there and give answer in bad manner and for battery they told me use it for 3 - 4 days then come to service center, he onle do upgrade software not check battery never buy motorola mobile, their service is also very bad and not proper

  • second only support 2g

  • 1. When using the primary SIM in 4G/LTE does the secondary SIM supports 3G ? 2. Does anyone use this phone with VoLTE services or Wifi Calling (built-in) ?

  • For Moto X Force why don't the earpiece act like a secondary loudspeaker as like in moto X style.?

  • mee too

  • I had this phone for 2 years. It was strong, worked well but at the beginning only. After several months, I had an OS update suggested from motorola and then the OS was really slow, it was a pain to use this smartphone... Another update reduced the problem but the phone is still slower (with lags) than at the beginning. After 18 months, the battery life was not so good (but not so bad also), after 1 day using "normally", around 6-7pm the battery was almost empty (At the beginning I manage to use the phone 1 day an half). Recently, I dropped it at 70km/h (my pocket was not close) when doing motorbike and the smartphone was still ok (two angles were crashed but it was almost nothing and still ok to use it). I've switched to a galaxy S7 to get IP68 (better with motorbike) and a smaller smartphone, since it's huge sales currently and S7 was really low price and is totally sufficient for what I needed.

  • What a great phone. I've had it now for 18 months and it still goes brilliantly. Superfast. Battery lasts all day and night. I've dropped it on concrete several times and it has a small chip gone from the corner bit still works perfectly. Screen is a little scratched probably because I don't use a cover. Highly recommended. Why don't other manufacturers also use this screen?

  • How is speaker vs moto x 2014?

  • So far nobody love lenovo boot, but believe me i tried other flagship include iphone but back to motorola, strength signal and crystal talk cant be match

  • Such a premium device and I do remember how pricey it was during its launch ! A well designed moto device and a remembrance of Motorola mobility stand alone creation.

  • I have received an update of security patch with size 32 MB for my Moto X Force indian Version.

  • I received update of security patch with size 32 MB

  • Love this phone, always ready to rock. if battery goes low, just turn off LTE and it will server several hours on 5%, it is really shatterproof, facedropped it several times, only bad thing is it belongs to lenovo now! and after update to 7.0 on startup appears LENOVO!!! Hate Lenovo, thats why this is my last Moto :( (my last 4 phones are all Motorola)

  • I've had the UK version for 1 year now and it has been an absolute beast, no issues and has passed every challenge with flying colours as a work and personal phone. It has had fairly regular updates, now on 7.0 Nougat which may be the last. The ShatterShield is an absolute God-send as I have dropped it and all it has got are a few little scratches. Whereas previous phones (cough, Sony) cost me several hundred in screen repairs and were never the same again. The features it misses that I actually want are water resistance, fingerprint scanning, FM radio and elegant looks (though it's not ugly, it definitely can't match an edge to edge). Those are all on the new X4, but at the expense of features the Force has. I'll probably keep this for another year because it's going to take some replacing.

  • No volte update done by Motorola/Lenovo. Don't buy if you are planning to use Reliance Jio Volte sim in India. Volte connection is also not stable using Reliance 4G voice.

  • I'm just living with bubbles on all four sides

  • I got 7.0 update after mobile heating and drain charge fast....I need to down grade help me

  • Sony X (The powerful Brand) :)

  • Already 1.5 years of using this phone. No lags good performance. But have dispaly issue. Suddenly I noticed it is burned. Looking pictures on full screen you can see 1 brighter layer on top and in the bottom of display. Read that it is common in amoled but on top I can see the exact time it is happened. If thiis is comming in time should be not visible as well as batteri load and so on..

  • Moto X force is more powerful !

  • guys.. i need help...which is better between Xperia X/Moto X force or moto Z..?.. please

  • The phone has been out for a good day on an outdated system. I've been waiting for more than a year for updates (since it was announced by google) and released it on a dumped 7.0 instead of the 7.1 patches. They should be quick updates and you do them longer than samsung !!! Stop advertising with slogans that do not have much in common !!!

  • It's a shatterproof display. Not gorilla glass. Should've learnt the difference before you bought it. Anyhow, the outer lens is replaceable. So effectively you can never damage the screen enough to make it unusable. And don't put a tempered glass screen guard on this cuz it doesn't break anyway. Unless you really don't want scratches on your screen for some reason.

  • I bought this phone newly and it doesn't have gorilla display scratches can easily happen on it, I tried using tempered glass for this on the left bottom there is a curve for which I am getting bubble I tried around 4 glasses for this I faced the same issue with all the four.... Do any one facing the same issues ???

  • In other words: A Droid Turbo 2 that's not exclusive to Verizon.

  • Dear X force/ Droid turbo 2 user. I had a strange experience with my device. It was newly bought one and I rarely uses it. Remaining time it would be tuned off. Yesterday when I turned on my device, its display colour changed to different tone and later it started flickering in both normal and safe mode. After sometimes when I checked out. The issues are gone completely. What issues it has ? Any idea.

  • This doesn't have a speaker mod. Wrong forum.

  • Terrible phone, love the features and the speaker mod. But the battery is garbage, it can't go more than 10 minutes unplugged without shutting down. And this is after just 4 months of ownership.

  • Hi I have moto x force xt1580 plz help me i have following issue 1.my phone version is "p2c" . Please tell me how to know which region's retail is my phone? 2.My phone OS is marshmallow 6.0.1 how can i update my phone? 3.My phone showing imei 0. But it's working perfectly i can i fix /repair IMEI please help me ?

  • yes it does heat up if you play even small game for fiteen mins. and battery will last a day. if you are a moderate user.

  • Volte is not present in Moto X Force. Its a technology (hardware) not an update (software).

  • Yes that true....hard to find the accessories. Good Back covers are available on flipkart and Nillkin screen guard on ebay India.

  • It doesn't heat that much as said in reviews. I have been using using for 2 months now. Only if you are playing Asphalt racing game, and during charging, it does heat.

  • Only one speaker works and there is no Gorilla scratches can easily happen without a tempered glass and this phone is not much popular we won't get tempered glass or any other accessories so easily...

  • Hy I am from Pakistan and I want to know about its battery timing and is it have any heating problem?

  • Does work jio sim in this handset

  • 2K is 2048×1080, which is basically a widescreen 1080p. 2560x1440 or QHD is 2.5K.

  • The 2k amoled display is fabulous !

  • I tested this phone's camera against the z2 play and the g5 plus (with their new 12mp 1.4 micron sensors). This phone does much better in low light, the difference is very significant. And it's at least 20% better in good light as well, though this is because z2p and g5p apply heavy image sharpening to make up for the lack of megapixels. Colors and light handling are spectacular on the X Force, and very mediocre in both z2p and g5p. In fact, the z2p and g5p cameras are not much better than what Chinese phones offer in terms of Dynamic Range. The S7, with the same setup (+OIS but an older sensor) as the Z2P and G5P, did much better than those two, with low light images slightly better than the x force (and lower noise), but good light images tangibly worse (and with more noise). Dynamic range was at par between the devices (S7 and XF). Overall, I might rank the XF just slightly ahead, or at the same level. The Google Pixel, however, outperforms the XF, mainly because of its low light performance and stunningly accurate exposures. The Z2P and G5P do come with excellent focusing systems though, and are as fast as the S7/S8, and thereby faster than the X Force's PDAF.

  • This phone does not long life battery and heat

  • Have any problem after upadtion my moto x force work only with jio sim

  • when it get Moto x force volts update and pls send quicky other wise f***k of moto company and Lenovo motos Mobil's are u understand my feeling

  • Why are there so many clowns on this forum? Volte is pretty much the only thing they ever talk about. Why didn't you do a bit of research before buying the phone man?

  • hello sir i am using moto x force i bye before two months back that i am happy for mobile ultrahd video and more cool features in mobile then i put jio sim in moto x force mobile then I recognize volts not working in moto x force mobile then i should feedback my opinion

  • hello sir i am using moto x force mobile in that don't have volts support and senf me update for me

  • yes moyo x force is not support volte.after the softwsre updation my phone not working with other sim.only work with jio

  • After the updation my phone is not working with other sim only work with jio

  • When we will get VOLTE update for moto x force...

  • No. It doesn't come with volte.

  • Moto x force has not got volte on nougat update .

  • In Moto Phone which are updated nogout have No VOLTE symbol present at the top. There is 4g written at the top on tower signal. So, any one who have moto x force please check it manually by calling on it whether it support VOLTE or not??\ plz rply on this.

  • In moto phones which are updated to nogout NO VOLTE written at the top bar. There is a 4g symbol occurs on top on the tower signal. So, Anyone please check it manually by calling on the phone and plzz rply it supports VOLTE or not???????

  • Moto x force update for nougat and not supported for volte. Pls help me volte in mobile.

  • And if you really want to know if you're going to get volte, message customer care. They apparently said that moto x style is going to get volte support next month. Since moto x force is pretty much better and higher end in every way, maybe it could get it too.

  • Stop crying about VoLTE. Buy an airtel or Vodafone sim and use the unlimited data and voice calls app. In other countries, volte isn't all that important, and this phone was made before the volte explosion in India. It might come as a fix later on, or it might not come at all.

  • How can I get volte in moto x force with Android 7.

  • It doesn't enable volte

  • I've updated the phone to nougat and there's an option called VoLTE Provisioned in test menu. I don't know if it's what u looking for or not

  • Now no hope for volte update. If they really inteded to give volte then would have given

  • I got naugat update.I am waiting for volte update in android 7 in moto x force...

  • Try it. It's incredible. Only in macro/portrait shots do I use the stock app, because it's better to have low noise than high detail in those situations.

  • Ok, got it newer version of app

  • I think you're talking about wavelet noise option because i couldn't find any QC Denoise option in camera+ apk

  • Display of Moto X Force is one of best display of all time !

  • One more thing, you won't find the app on play store. Look for it online.

  • Moto X Force is on dxomark as well. It's called Droid Turbo 2. And it's better than Moto Z Force in daylight only. In low light, Moto X Force smudges up details because of the noise reduction. Use the Camera+ app that I stated before, and your pictures will be as good, if not better, than the Moto Z Force, even in low light. The only reason phones like the Moto Z Force and the S7 perform better than the Moto X Force in low light is because of the increased noise reduction, which the S7 and Z Force use much less of. So use the app to even the odds. Try it and then tell me if it helped or not. The compression is lower with the app as well, file sizes are double.

  • Volte not supported

  • I mean best implementation of IMX 230 , GSMARENA states pixel is 1.4 micro pixel but IMX 230 is official 1.12 micro pixel , but clarity of Moto X Force is quiet better than Moto X Play which got 83 on DxO. & Moto Z Force ( Next version of Moto X Force )

  • Well , to users who asked about Volte Update , the Moto x Force supports 850mhz 4G Volte band & Band 40 for 4G LTE for JIo Sim , & SD810 support Volte , so VOlte is just a software update away , though not checked on Android 7. Display Scale view is new feature , makes onscreen buttons small & icons small or large , new messaging app , Customisable notification icons & can increase - decrease number of icons , Overall Ui more stable & not as battery hogger like Android 6 , though 2K - QHD Screen eats lot of battery on Internet use. Heating reduced by 25% overall which i credit to Android 7 , UI has less App hanging issues v/s. Android 6. Moto x Force has best camera interface of IMX 230 , much better than even Moto Z Force & Moto X Play which was rated 83 on DxO

  • I used the camera+ apk (it was made for the Moto g in low light. You can search for it on Google). The results are amazing! Detail in low light has never been this good! I'd suggest you all try it.

  • No update of volte in android 7.0..

  • Is volte update provide or not

  • Is volte provided in nougat update/india

  • OTA update are stable for using device

  • Well , Rikki , i observed that now restarting mobile you get lenovo logo with people & dog photos with a audible hello moto slogan & motorola logo & than Lenovo logo & then Motorola by lenovo wording - the Restart screen is quite interesting now than earlier. I found it bit stable , still too early , i am able to customised my setting panel , more screen setting options , not by much , still to explore completely.

  • How experience after update 7.0 moto x force

  • I just received it yesterday and downloaded it. its about 902 mb in size

  • Nougat update is now available of size 902.7 MB in Tamil Nadu country.

  • I got new updation for my Moti x force

  • Good News For MOTO X FORCE users in INDIA! The long awaited Android N OTA just came! So those who had given the hopes about any future update bcoz its not mention on Website can now once again go to Settings->System Update!! (I will capture OTA and will post to XDA ASAP to download manually) It would be a huge thanks to Motorola if it also receives Android O :-P

  • Try using the Camera+ apk that enables hidden menu items on the camera, and switch off QC Denoise. You'll get noise in the pictures, but edge and texture detail will be preserved. Low light sees a dramatic improvement with it on. The denoised image looks better in many cases, like portraits and macro, so you may want to switch between the modes.

  • it is a single sim, that clearly mentioned in website, so don't expect second sim slot, XT1581(china) version support dual sim.

  • Nice review, I agree camera is best

  • Yes it will. Don't worry. It's currently rolling out in Australia. It'll be there in India soon.

  • I recently purchased and contact moto India support regarding nougat update and got reply that moto x force is not eligible for nougat update in India

  • Just now contact moto customer care regarding nougat update for moto x force and got reply that x force is not in update list, and will not get nougat update in India.

  • The camera on this phone is the best I've seen among smartphones. In good light or even medium natural light, the photos blow away even the Galaxy S7 and the Nexus 6P. A large number of ignorant reviewers on YouTube are attracted to the immediate sharpness that you get on a Samsung device, but they look good only on the screen, and the moment you pixel-peep or put it on a PC, you can see the artifacts creeping in. It's nice that GSMArena recognizes the camera in the review, although even they should note the detail loss in low light is because of the aggressive noise reduction (you'll notice far less noise on the X Force pictures compared to the S7, for example). The camera has gotten better with recent updates and lets the noise be, for the most part, which improves detail in low light. All things considered, this is probably the very best camera pre-2017, although the Lumia 950 is also exceptional and can be considered for the title. I won't make any claims regarding the 2017 flagship cameras, the S8 has seen some improvements in low light that may tip the scales. But for me and my smartphone use cases, natural light is still paramount.

  • is it dual sim or not

  • when u purchased the mobile ?

  • So have u recieved the nougat update via ota??

  • Hello Folks, Recently I purchased the mobile, Those who are facing Heating issue, Please update your Android, After updating process i did not face any heating issue even after playing games for 3 hours. Thank you,

  • is it really,r u from india because nougat is only at latin america not in india

  • nougat update receiving

  • That's the micro SD card slot alone. Though impression denotes SIM 2 but its not a SIM readable slot. Overall it must be the single SIM variant XT1580.

  • I bought Moto X force yesterday in that hybrid slot SIM card is not working.can any one suggest

  • I already have this phone and its running absolutely fine since a year almost, with no problems at all ! and the battery life is amazing ! Got it again for just 16k with 64 gb storage and expandable. Love this phone, and only missing feature is VoLTE.

  • it has lte.

  • 12,999 for moto g force or 16,999 for moto g5 plus which one is better

  • No it doesn't. And also don't buy this phone. Lots of problem in phone

  • Doesn't have volte facility.. heating issue is also there.

  • In which site...

  • Just 12,999 INR !!! Go and grab it then. Last year same time its been selling at 49,999 INR. Quad HD AMOLED display with Snapdragon 810 V.2.0 at the current selling price is best deal you can get.

  • I got this phone at 13k , can any one tell me if I should have bought moto g5 plus or if I have made the right choice.

  • Got for just 12999 on an e commerce website

  • Airtel doesn't support VOLTE hence when on 4g mode calling doesn't work. Keep your connection at LTE/WCDMA and it will work.

  • So now it support volte or not

  • pl.suggest can i buy x force @ price of 12999 for 32 gb .

  • I bought moto x force. Sales man told me its have volte technology. Current software version is 6.0.but after the updation volte will working but idont get upadation. I think sale man is cheated me

  • On Amazon from 19th to 21st

  • Does the top ear piece act like a speaker as like Moto x pure ?

  • not so much loud its avg like moto g series, as it uses the same 16-bit old dac. not a imperssive performance in music loudspeaker are dull also.

  • This my review after 5 months of heavy ussage: well phone is good to work with looks beautiful is snappy, smooth and powerfull enough to carry out low end tasks like music listening, youtube, phone calls , whatsapp etc. but its really a headache when comes to gaming, multi-tasking , heavy usage, etc. bigest issue common is over heating while charging, while playing games, etc battery drains like money is the wallet. another issue my unit is facing is some wierd call issue, i am using airtel 4g sim, i am unable to call any one or others are unable to call me, same things happen with other sim i uae with this phone. i took it to patna service ceter they said it may be software issue they updated the software , nothing happens. they asked me for more a week to figure out the issue. well this is very unpleasant experience i am having, i bought this phone trusting the moto brand, i saved a lot to buy this phone as it is very sturdy and i am clumsy person. but it didn't last 5months . i ll update as soon as issue is fixed.

  • Moto X force👍

  • The imx230 sensor used in this phone has a pixel size of 1.12 micron. 1.4 micron is for the front camera. Please correct the specifications. And if I am wrong, please provide me with proof.

  • definately..by the way.. where were u getting it @ 15K ?

  • plzz tell me about sound output in earphones is it loud at half the voulme??

  • Is it advisable to buy moto x force 32 gb version at 15000 on this date?

  • Moto X's force XT 1580 is work ofter update nugget or not?

  • Superb quality phone at reasonable price.

  • I have been using this phone from last 3 months: Pro: 1. Nice battery life, Around 1 and half day of life after playing 1-1:30 hours of game playing. 2. Robust body and screen Hidden Cons: 1. Late updates from messaging service like fb, whatsapp if mobile is not active. Tested with two best carriers from Germany 2. Poor voice reception. Next person will always complain about your low voice.

  • Yes

  • go with the latest Moto x force, Really rhink about what you want tyour phone to do in your day in and out life. I wanted shatter proof with a hard nyon back cover for feel and a shatter proof screen and almost two days battery life also long as youre not playing games on it. Plus its alot cheaper. Ive had it for half a year and I a can honestly say im happy i didnt go the path of the clip ons.

  • I'm using Moto x force and it doesn't support volte in India.

  • This is better option than a MOTO Z PLAY? Wich would you choose and why? i cant really decide by myself!!! xD

  • Did this phone supports VoLTE in India?

  • Is moto x force original with the print 'made in China' ???

  • i am also facing same problem but they are not replacing my phone. and phone is in service center from last one month.

  • Agree,x style has the best spekers on mobile after motorola rokr E1/E398 (deeper bass). Wood back panel looks premium and elegant

  • If battery & shatterproof display is not your priority, then go for 'Style' & keep a Turbo/First/Quick Charger or first charging power bank with you if possible. Thanks..

  • Mine is also not working. 2nd sim slot is not getting detected.

  • does your second sim slot work properly...because in my case its not working..i have been in the service center of motorola..and they told me that the second slot is working only in other countries but not in India...please tell is this true

  • So ? Moto X Force users be finally getting them nougat updates then... Verizon has given it to droid turbo 2 so shouldn't be long

  • Careful with inductive charging on this phone, my battery life is way down in under a year. The heat must cause the battery to degenerate.

  • Hello people. A week ago I bought the phone in the Germany,EU retail. It's working great, very reliable and strong phone, excellent sound during conversations, excellent image quality, battery for normal users take up to two days, but I'm worried about all this frequent problems with the green or pink line on the screen. Does the problem only happens on American Droid Turbo 2 or at the European version of Motorola X Force too? Does anyone have same problems in Europe? Whether to expect this problem in any case or is a serious problem of hardware solved? I ask you for advice as to whether to change the phone while still new, or not to worry? Thank you, greetings from Kragujevac,Serbia.

  • I should take it both and make desicion. I have both and there are differents + and -.

  • I want advice x force or x style?

  • I want advice x force or x style?

  • WARNING: the X Force is de-facto discontinued! Lenovo/Motorola has stopped production of the Shatter Shield replacements, and barely spare parts are available. I bought this smartphone 12 months ago. Now got a pink line onto the screen. The phone cannot be repaired due the lack of spare parts, and even cannot be replaced as the Motorola phones are generally not available anymore here in Germany. So the will refund the price.

  • I am too facing same issue can some one help me to recover d problem.

  • Sir i have same problem please help me if you can

  • I wont say much better.it only has wireless charging, good battery backup than x style and shatter proof.p erformance wise x style is better.bigger display and good display.great camera nice design

  • I will not agree about heating ! because you use a extra camera it may cause a heating of phone because it uses energy my phone is just fine. i am playing and recording screen videos for youtube and its just fine. battery is really above avarage.

  • Great Phone. Fast. Terrific screen. I expect this to last me a long time. Beware, no FM radio!

  • Sir moto x force given dual sim slots but not showing dual Sims, sir explain how it will works dual sim given dual places for sim and sd card slot? Please solve my problem.my moto x force model xt1580.

  • is this device much better than moto x style?

  • the probably have put sim tray manufactured for other phones like moto x . But the software does not support it. But yes, I am also struggling to find out if the phone sold by flipkart going to be single sim or dual sim. because in some countries they provide dual sim moto x force too.

  • does the moto x force sold on flipkart has single sim or dual/hybrid sim slot??

  • This device gets scratches very easily and often.

  • It's shatterproof, not waterproof/water-resistant.

  • The best phone that I've ever owned. Works fine on OS 6.0. Shatterproof, no worries about battery dying, just waiting for a software upgrade thats all.

  • will it survive under water, has anyone tested it's waterproof capability?

  • I only buy my handsets from John Lewis as they have a 2 year guarantee, I returned my x force last month after 5 months use as it developed a problem with the microphone, the girl behind the desk was so opologetic and asked if I wanted a replacement or full refund, As I wasnt over struck with the phone I took the full refund option. Returned on the sunday afternoon and my money was back in my bank account Monday morning.

  • The mobile was working fine. Suddenly it doesn't accept any sim . Can anyone help?

  • Beware this phone. I have owned it for a year now and the battery has died completely. Motorola will not even repair it and told me to get someone else to repair it! Batteries are almost impossible to buy at the right capacity and Motorola will not sell them directly to you. Motorola will not even let you know who are authorised to do repairs. Outside of warranty Motorola are shocking I'm afraid. I'm awaiting my battery from china (I live in uk). In the meantime my lg g2 is keeping me going!

  • Samsung phones are HOT and nowadays even have XPLOSIVE features too. Jokes apart, SD 810 had the issue of heating. There have been windpipe and crystal cooling systems. Yet heating issues did trouble to some extent to all those who used it ( not just Motorola)

  • Heating problem is commonly in samsung not in Moto.

  • great. super phone . best software. 80/100 marks

  • Heating is purely due to infamous SD 810. This is great phone, but unfortunately it 810 was a wrong choice of SoC.

  • Which phone is better...moto x force(32gb) or moto z play (32gb)

  • Nice phone

  • Which variant of moto x force u have 64gb or 32gb

  • I have been using the phone for a week, found few proms and cons: Pros- 1. Best camera ( the default moto camera app sucks to the core. So better use other app- I'm using mx camera) 2. Best in screen clarity pixel. 3. It charged from 10%-99% exactly in 1.10 hrs. 3. will Get 7.0 update Cons- 1. Heating issue ( gets hot after a simple camera use also). 2. Battery above average.

  • Here in Brazil as Moto X Force this is the best of motorola, I change my Moto Maxx for this one, and my past phone are a LG G2... Very smooth, fast an durable. battery is bellow than my older moto maxx, but still much better than LG, Samsung an apple phones... I didn't like the visual and style, the Nylon back cover is hard to clean but offer a good grip... In my point of view, I think that X Force phone is made for who like to run, bike, trek, rally and all off must action, water, dust... The shock resitent scren, huge display, watter protection with a true compass is perfect for adventure sports and uses without loss camera quality and internal memory... a samsung S series or Apple its too much fragile to do this, and LG and Sony is for office and light hands... "glass cover" .. you need a velvet glove to use...thats not my case! My older S4 and LG G2 are pretty good but never will survive a week in a true adventure, to surf, or make bike tracking, camping... obviusly I'm talking about a travel with your father in a motorhome ... I see some of my friends with apple phones and sony that live your phones in home to do this... this one is made for office use without any action... now I'm looking for cartterpillar or Z Force... You could think that "weakness" is proposital!!!

  • Yes but i heard that moto x force doesn't support volte in jio.

  • Does it supports the dual sim in India????

  • Yes Bro Jio working with this cell but without volte support ..need to wait for update 6.0.1

  • Yes it has hybrid sim slot in dual sim version

  • hello do it has a hybrid sim slot[nano sim+sd card/nano sim+nano sim/micro sd ? reply me pls

  • It has worst battery I have ever seen. I bought a Moto x force 20 days before and now for the past 3 days I am facing extreme battery issues like my battery drains out completely during night when the phone is not being used and should consume minimum battery

  • 2nd gen SD810 less heat, single speker good but stereo spekers only on x pure is the best but x force has better battery. Low light where iphone 6 can capture image moto can very well, tested both phone side by side

  • Motorola x force support Reliance Jio plz tel me?????

  • how are the speakers ? are they good as they are in moto x style?

  • Is the best phone i ever had, change my nexus 6 because the storage is limited. Force is fast and never had a issue. the battery last 2 days without a problem.

  • The left side is not a speaker but a microphone

  • Moto x force is the worst phone i have ever used...first its vibration..and sound damages...and it will restart automatically and the process continues

  • I HV a doubt wether both the front speaker works or just the right side for moto xforce...in my phone only the right side speaker comes sound not on the left side

  • i just want to know what version of 810 snapdragon use in moto x force...we all knew that 810 processor has a overheating issue... pls answer my question..

  • As i m running Android from 2004 , I believe that iPhones are not useful in any single moment, it's just to show off but the person who are having such use less phones like iPhones only knows what is going on inside there heart and Brain after buying use less good for nothing phone like iPhones. Thank you tck

  • FYI, the 2011 Atrix also has fingerprint sensor. And it is the best one I have ever seen on a phone.

  • Hi, i need to know about this phone. Did anyone from malaysia use this phone? Where did you buy it? I'm looking forward 2 buy this phone but i just couldn't find any info where 2 buy it. If u guy know anything..let me know

  • This phone slipped from my hands while I was going up in the construction site on a elevator and it surprisingly survived even after hitting the hard concrete floor, although there were mild scratches on the screen but the phone was okay. Kudos to Motorola for designing such a durable device. I can't even imagine what would've happened if my phone was something other than this device, I've seen my co-workers Nexus 6P and Xperia Z5 being badly damaged on such incidents. This phone may not be good for teeny boppers and hipsters but it is perfect for engineers working in construction sites.

  • And it's built like a tank. That's the thing I love about this phone.

  • No biometric Lock.Moto G 4Plus 2016 is the 1st Moto device having Finger Print Sensor.

  • Survives dropping, unfortunately lacks any waterproofing so didn't survive being dropped in the toilet...

  • Do you know if the Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A57 from Moto X Force is better than Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 from Moto X 2nd?

  • super design awesome fantastic display incredible camera

  • greet camera pictures greet design 10/10 super

  • wow what a beautiful design x force super display fantastic front speakers sounds this is Shatter-proof great

  • I love this phone. Had it 3 weeks now. Nice big battery and tested the unbreakable screen in the first week. Dropped it face down on the concrete. Not a single mark on it. The outer layer of the screen scratches easily, but that is user-replacable ($US 30 replacement kit). The fast charger is amazing, so fast. It does run a bit hotter than previous but nothing to be concerned with. Unfortunately my Moto-X died before the Moto-Z force was available so I got this but I'm not disappointed. the only issue I have is it is a bit large. The 5.2" screen on the Moto X 2014 was perfect. This also has wider bezels.

  • really super smooth work greet Moto x force

  • really greet product Moto x force super design 10/10 greet camera nice active super sound fantastic looking

  • super display fantastic design incredible camera good long betray wow... incredible greet shatter shield

  • like this x force super

  • good phone

  • Had mine since January (64gb version) and tbh I was a bit disappointed when it first turned up. It's not a cheap phone by any stretch, and it's certainly not a "looker". But, over time, I've come to love it. Coming from an LG G3, it's so refreshing to have a phone that actually works, no lag, doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the g3, nice screen, good camera, excellent battery life and super tough. I've dropped mine twice whilst out running, literally threw it down the path, both times without the case on, and all it's done is a couple of marks on the plastic surround. I shudder to think what the damage would've been to the g3, or iPhone/ Samsung s7 etc. As most will be aware the software is pretty close to stock, I do love the double twist to activate camera and double karate chop for torch features though. The device also comes equipped with Qi fast charging (UK version ships with fast charger) and is wireless charging compatible. All in all, after initially being a little disappointed, I've come to love it's performance, durability and features. Anyone who managed to snap one up for the £300 carphone warehouse were offering them for a few months back got an absolute bargain as long as they can put up with the less than flattering looks.

  • because if you drop it in water it doesnt need to be shatterproof and if you drop it on asphalt there's no water to worry about :)

  • wow, finally there's a review! Splendid!

  • Waterproof cause overheat, pls remember SD810 is already heat enough. xperia z is overheat without sd810. I just miss stereo speaker with big bass on moto rokr (the best)

  • If iPhone is the svelte ramp strutting model in the world of phones then rest be assured this device can be best described as the Marines commando of phones. As a civil engineer who works in rough conditions I always wanted a rugged and powerful device which may not be glitzy looking but can take beating like a champ. And this device perfectly meets my needs. But of course for general consumers I don't think this phone makes hell lotta sense.

  • waiting for Motorola to bring a shatter proof phone with 5 to 5.2 inch display with good soc and camera.

  • I haven't really noticed any heating issue with my Moto X Force in day to day usage. The only times that I've felt the metal frame get warm was when I was on holiday in Auckland, NZ and was taking lots and lots of photo. This goes doubly so when taking photos while connected to the included TurboCharger, when it got super hot

  • Any heating issue with force, my present moto x style aka pure heats up like Owen n i have asked flipcart for replacement, other than heating issue, i very much loved wt moto style has to offer.

  • Finally Moto with best over specifications But front camera not sufficient And you can also put fingerprint sensor at least then it's complete flagships specifications......

  • But WHY is this phone not waterproof????????????? WHY build a Shatterproof phone that is not waterproof ??????? /Johan

  • Great review, thanks

  • yeah ofcourse...

  • Is the Moto X force you bought still working the same as you described in GSM arena.

  • I have been using it since a month now and I have zero problems. U better take it to the service centre. Otherwise the phone is gr8

  • I have been promised of replacement piece. I hope it works ok and no such issues are seen. I am annoyed that such a premium priced phone's basics are not working - ability to make and receive calls, play music.

  • I have been using it since a month now and I have zero problems. U better take it to the service centre. Otherwise the phone is gr8

  • Hello, I too purchased Moto X Force on April 7th, 2016 at Chennai, India. The phone is giving lot of static noise/hissing noise whenever I make/receive calls. It doesn't stop only with calls but also with music. Any remedy fo r this ? It's so irritating that you will want to throw your phone from the window :-(.. I am unable to understand how can such a premium phone make mistake in basics - ability to make/receive calls, playing music. runs Marshmallow 6.0.0, carrier Airtel , India, nothing to do with carrier as prior to this I was usign iphone 5s, everything was working ok. also bluetooth doesn't work in this phone yet.

  • To those wondering there is no radio, like so many electronic gadgets, these use SoC chips. Meaning many/most of the functionalities are on a single chip. Unfortunately, the chip makers decided to remove the radio circuitry given that they see few people use radio on high-(and also mid-?)-end range phones. Doing so either allows them to shrink the chips further, or add further capacity/capability to other functionalities, or add new functionalities. Why not add a separate chip for the radio? It'll require space on an already crowded device. Given that they see less users of it, this also allows them savings.

  • Because they didnt have money to buay Radio Chip, so no install radio.

  • Could ask one more time, please?

  • Why Does Moto X Force Have No FM Radio...I Mean The Phone Is Just Awesome...Bt I Am Nt Buying Becoz Of The FM Radio Problem...Cn Anyone Tell Me The Reason For Why X Force Have No FM Radio?

  • Why Does Moto X Force Have No FM Radio...I Mean The Phone Is Just Awesome...Bt I Am Nt Buying Becoz Of The FM Radio Problem...Cn Anyone Tell Me The Reason For Why X Force Have No FM Radio?

  • No Solar pannel

  • Is that true if this phone has a solar panel? If this phone truely have solar panel well this could survive a days out plugging it to charge..

  • Click on GSM / HSPA / LTE at the top of the spec list. Bam, all frequencies listed.

  • Nope no radio

  • The answer is only ONE mouse click away but it is better if you learn how to use these sites. Above these comments you will see three options - 'Specifications', 'Compare', and 'Pictures'. Click on 'Specifications' (that is the one mouse click), and scroll down to 'COMMS'. You will see the answer there. It is THAT simple!

  • Could you tell about radio?

  • I purchased the Moto X Force on 11th March 2016, though it is in the costlier bracket but I took the leap as I love phones which are durable and can stand the test of times. And their was no other phone than The Moto X Force. When I first switched on the phone you get to see a cool boot animation and when I connected it to the wifi the sweet treat marshmallow update was ready to be downloaded and I went ahead. The UI is totally stock other then some Moto goodies like the Moto Assist, Moto Active and many more of which worth mentioning is the gestures like wrist shake which opens the camera whenever and wherever. Loving the moto Active, though the Moto x Force has no led notification but that is substituted my the active display by moto, it flashes all the notification on screen. The phone has many infrared sensors and proximity sensors so when ever u wave ur hand over the phone or touch it, it shows the time and notifications using the minimum battery. Battery is around 3740mah and its amazing, better than my previous Note 4 Edge, it gives me 6hrs Screen On Time on moderate usage which is like wow, and minimum 5hrs on heavy usage. The front of the phone has dual speakers.no that isnt right only one is a speaker and other works as a mic, its a mono speaker not stereo but the sound quality and loudness is too good cant imagine if it was a stereo speaker. Camera is 21mp with dual led and its best to say the least but m not a photography enthusiast but camera is gr8, front camera is 5mp with flash again m not into selfies so cant comment much. I have attached some camera samples I have the 64gb version and with that microsd card expandable upto 2tb.amazing Now the famous heating problem on sd810, I will say all phones heat nowadays with soo much power inside them, they tend to heat but this phone doesnt have much heating issue other than using it under sun on 3G net or while charging but its not much cools down in a jiffy. The turbo charger is again the icing on the cake, it charges the phone super fast. With such huge battery it needed the turbo. Design of the phone is very sophisticated and premium, its a cute lil thing I didnt drop it yet but with all the videos on net I am sure it wont have any problems and that too the company provides 4yr warranty on the screen, And I have not spilled water on it yet to test the water repellent feature. Dislikes are few but I have to mention it: The screen may be durable but its not scratch resistant so you need to apply a screen guard and ur good to go. No finger print sensor or Iris scanner but the facial recognition works like a charm but only in good lighting conditions. Non Removable battery, not user replaceable, I personally dont like this feature of phones nowadays but I guess for the durability and the water repellent feature they compromised on it All and all its a super heavy duty costly future proof durable and an a great phone.

  • yes, ita support dual micro sim, secondary sim place on micro sd tray. you can choose to put secondary sim or micro sd, but cannot both, there ia only one option, micro sd or 2nd sim

  • Is this phone having hybrid sim tray? I mean 'dual sim' or 'one sim and sd card' supprt..

  • Any dual sim variant of droid turbo 2 coming soon????

  • Any dual sim variant of droid turbo 2 coming soon????

  • This is very good but the price is too high. This also doesn't have fingerprint sensor. So it should come under 20,000 rupees. Or you should buy samsung galaxy note 4 it gives same features . So they should reduce the price.

  • No, mine is working super fine, I highly recommend this mobile.

  • Motorola is never dead. As long as the iSheeps and Sammy worshippers keep in mind that MOTO is the actual inventor of mobile phones and telecommunication, everything will be fine.

  • any LCD problem? green line just like verizon's turbo2?

  • Don't switch the Moto is a much better phone.

  • Moto X Force vs Lumia 950 Xl...I am getting a chance to swap my Moto with 950xl...any idea guys?

  • Moto x shattershield + turing body + sony waterproof + vertu flameresistant= indestructable phone :)))

  • Yes, scratches very very easy

  • I love this phone...using smoothly...no problem at all....loving this phone...I wish i can also buy this phone for my family members :)

  • hehehe Very interesting...Lenovo bought area for telecommunications.Do you know how big the Motorola is?For your information,Motorola manufactures processors for Macintosh computers! There very interesting things for you,in the Samsung category... "motorola is dead" hihihi

  • We all are waiting for your review for this phone, dear GsmArena! Best regards!

  • Lenovo is a owner. They have not intersted to advertise other brands. "Motorola" is deth for the world.

  • If gsmarena ever reviews this phone, please do a full screen test, with sunlight visibility tests. GSM's Pure/Style review had no such test, so i fear because the screen legibility is my greatest concern with this phone.

  • You can get a cheaper screen protector or tempered glass for it then it will solve your problem

  • Good question! Probably Moto didn't pay or offer free example.

  • I wonder why they haven't reviewed this phone by now.

  • It is for some regions (Latin America for example). Mine is EU version and single SIM.

  • Indeed, get's warmer with wireless charging but issue is related to charging not normal usage. Interesting, when charging with USB is not heating at all. Never tried turbo charging, though.

  • The sim tray, can hold two sims and an sd card, however, the phone is not dual sim?

  • yes, when wireless charging.

  • No

  • Can i know whether this has same heating issue as the other moto variants

  • Well, more (end of) 2015. or beginning of 2016. For sure new phones are coming, faster SoC, more memory, better camera, higher display resolution... but none for now with shatterproof display. If Moto keeps the same path, next phone will be really the best phone of 2016.

  • best phone of the year 2016

  • I think best phone is now coming.....😉

  • Would be perfect if it had a IP68 or higher protection... And maybe another military grade protection, for example like some photos es from cat... In a phone that is supposed to survive rough situations, I couldn't care less if it's heavy and thick or if the bezels are big or small.

  • I agree Motorola X Force best of 2016.

  • Wait for one to two month after the launch date and buy at 22%-30% less price because Motorola will slash the price. This is what moto always do and gives sucked feeling to the old buyers. If you can wait then wait for worth. But for repo money doesn't matter.

  • Check the stores at cyber zone in SM.I just saw a few in different cellphone shops at the SM in my city.

  • The bezel size is too much for the phone in the price bracket

  • i would love to have this phone but unfortunately there is no motorola on the philippine market :(

  • Excellent mobile but very costly..The cost should be decreased

  • A

  • First off......Damn!!!!! this phone is almost like Nexus 6 Baby awesome. compare and learn :D

  • That's why many uaers put another cheaper screen protector on top or tempered glass.

  • phone features is good but price is so much

  • there is a notification light on the phone - its only used to signify charging though... however - notifications show on the screen itself when the phone is looked at/approached/touched.....................after a while now - I prefer this because it gives a specific icon notification so you know what's arrived instead of just an anonymous flash.

  • The screen is indeed prone to scratching , however the outer layer is a factory fitted screen protector and is user replaceable .... the cost to buy from Motorola is £20.00 quid what is there not to like.

  • Disclaimer :D

  • Very very amazing ,stylish, amazing camera ,long life battery, speed like a rocket

  • i need help to understand battery life difference between moto x force and droid turbo 2. gsmarena listing says: droid turbo 2 moto x force Stand-by Up to 360 h (3G) Up to 500 h (3G) Talk time Up to 48 h (3G) Up to 25 h (3G) what creates the difference

  • phone is very wonderful.its bettry life is really amazing

  • If you repeat that enough, price will magically drop?

  • mobile was very nice but it's cost is too high...

  • Well, that's personal. For shatterproof, top hardware, good camera, 4k amoled, big battery... Samsung or Apple offers less and charge more.

  • Price is too high

  • @ George Hilarious post.... I love it!

  • I love my Jeep Wrangler and I love my Moto X Force, I'm happy because both my ride and my phone are tough as nails...:)

  • U r r8 bro

  • But you can always replace it...

  • And I've heard scratches very easily.

  • The display is not that bright. Upon inspection, you would think it were LCD. Maybe all the layers they use to protect screen traps light in? I honestly don't like the design one bit. Too bulky, too heavy, and best for workmen to own.

  • You can go for V-moda Crossfade LP2, Bose QuietComfort 25, Audio Technica ATH-M50X. They are all well known for their high quality sound.

  • is it dual sim support phone?

  • Actually It is a high budget phone ;shattered proof display is a special character of this phone but according to its price anyone can choose iphone

  • Well, most people using phone with broken display just because is too expensive to replace.

  • I do not think anyone needs a phone this strong if they have to compromise the looks , plus people change their phone in about a year now , so no big deal , there are more cases of heating and battery. They should really do sneed me thing about that and make a phone that stays cool for hours and hours , but if it's here then it's here , and someone may love this phone *cough* clumsy people *chough*

  • What about bezels on iPhone? And still selling like crazy. On Force, only bottom bezel is way to big. For left and right is even better to have some space to prevent accidentally touch detection.

  • They are just good for highs n mids...no bass ...as they are open back....you can't use them while traveling...

  • That gimmick has mic stored in it

  • I love those bezels

  • i dont understand why do makers cant let go of thick ugly bezels. these bezels serve no purpose and unnnecessarily and permanently occupy the display. They look ugly as well as are useless. nokia phones were famous for their ugly bezels and got kicked out of race. body to display ratio should always be more than 75% or people should not buy those phones. that will be a lessons to all makers. having bezels seem to be a way to cut cost on displays. buyers should be aware of what they want and express their like and dislike by their purchasing trend.

  • lacks fingerprint scanner. Huge bezels(as per todays standards), I know its probably because of the shatterproof build. 9+mm thick, again very poor by today's standards. 69% screen ratio is way below average. Dual speakers, but mono output, infact 1 outlet is a gimmick. would have liked to see droids kevlar back return here. lacks a little in the camera department although the camera specs mentioned are top notch(1.4um pixels should have been great). no OIS, for a flagship, that unacceptable. So a very good phone albeit the above.

  • agreed, but after using the one in the Xperia Z5 I like it, it is a faster access to the phone and the location is ideal. Still I could live perfectly without it.

  • Who actually needs a fingerprint scanner? I know I don't. This time last year nobody had even thought about it, yet now all the 'Must haves ' are crying 'I want one, I want one'. Well I don't and I don't know anyone else who does.

  • Lacks A fingerprint sensor 😢

  • Be careful people, grammar teacher on full swing. So you think people don't have rights to write without having good writing skill?

  • Grado make proper headphones, I can't recommend them enough

  • First you have to learn how to write. Second, what's the point advertising S6 in comments about Force? If you like S6, buy it. EOD

  • you are right .but in my point of view the shatter proof glass n 4 year warranty is worth becauuse its pain even if a scrath appears on our device. i never use barometer sensor. nor fingerprint sensor is much used feature. these r fancy features which r used by few. instead a shatter proof screen is much better n welcome feautre. wish they warer proofed it too .peace

  • Yes

  • even for 49999 its not worth just for shatter prof display alone, lot of core features are missing like fingerprint sensor, barometer when compared to Samsung Galaxy S6. This phone is really missing lot features.Only thing in this phone is just a Shatter proof display.....

  • "Amazing" is your writing style.

  • itss great spending 50k .. nd not having a fingerprint sensor .. aMazing

  • How is the battery of S6 amte? Thinking of buying it but heard battery is its only major drawback. I am a medium user.

  • this device support hdmi & otg ?

  • The phone looks great.. I just wish they had added IP68 kind of rating to it.. Would have made the phone more desirable..

  • no stereo speaker,no water proof

  • Does it supports Native Video Calling & VoLTE on Band 5 & 40 ??

  • Has a great sound quality. I use it with a Bose headphone and sounds amazing

  • Looks like after Lenovo took over Motorola they injected their rugged ThinkPad gene into the Motorola phones, this is how mobile phones should be, rugged and build like a tank. Best phone ever built by Motorola.

  • Another feature the S6 has that the X Force doesn't: -SLOW Android updates! X Force got Marshmallow in December 2015, S6 is showing Feb/March. P.S. I came from Note 2, and GS3, Xperia, and RAZR.

  • Any headphone from these brands will be perfect : skullcandy, beats, Sony

  • lol

  • The micro sd is up to 2tb. Need a endurance battery test please

  • What's the point of this comment under Moto X Force? I'll stick with girls, much more sofisticated and full with sensors compared to the boys :D

  • i'll stick to the samsung S6, much more sofisticated and full with sensors compared to the motorola

  • Depends of usage but overall very good. Got three days with 4h of SoT. It's really hard to discharge it in one day.

  • neither barometer nor finger print not heart rate sensor too much price not so specifically

  • wow but i recently buy galaxy s6 edge plus

  • I'm fine, thank you. And how are you ?

  • very good moto,is very nicely and sweet, good machine

  • How is the battery?

  • Why it doesnt come with FM Radio ?

  • Yes, dual sim in Mexico. You choose, sim2 or sd

  • People are reporting that phones from Mexico have dual sim support.

  • which country with dual sim ?

  • What headphone is best for this phone? I mean one with a near perfect production and rich bass

  • You didn't search hard enough ;) This site posted news long time ago.

  • My phone is from UK. Marshmallow is available for each country where Force is rekeased (UK, France, Mexico, Brazil...). Phone works in US. For Verizon, missing CDMA and LTE band 13.

  • You can buy them from here They do worldwide shipping too

  • Where can i buy it in usa or canada and what is the price?

  • Where can I buy one, I can't find it anywhere

  • I like big phone, great phone

  • So you have latest android on xforce whera are you UE or US ???

  • Agree. gsmarena is reviewing some phones right away, Turbo 2/Force is out for awhile and still nothing. I have Force, phone already got Marshmallow and works really great. If someone has questions, just ask me.

  • It it not Gorilla Glass, or glass for that matter. It's plastic of some type.

  • The screen is used for notifications, it works really well once you are used to it. As for fingerprint sensors they are not secure enough

  • Review now!!!

  • Question: The shatterproof screen - is it Gorilla Glass 4? I've been hearing about this for a while now...

  • Good choice, Cyberstace. Welcome to the club :)

  • I was blown away by the humble moto G which I bought for my daughter for price and performance, that said if the budget phone is this good what's a premium handset going to offer? After seeing the X force survival vid's and the core package I went out and bought a SIM free as EE did not have this marvel in their range. Well done Motorola you really have done a great job.

  • Gorilla glass is designed for drops less than 1 m (GG4). Twice

  • thank you. I saw the video and it was awesome to see that it actually survived to that altitude with only a little of peeling but probably was due to landing on dirt and some rocks.

  • excellent phone. Unfortunately, it doesn't have notification light nor a fingerprint sensor.

  • brother this phone will never sutter even if you throw this phone from 900ft beleive me you can also see the video about it in youtube

  • Hey mate, view for yourself the extreme test of Motorola Droid Turbo 2 AKA Moto X Force 900ft drop test.

  • if Corning Gorilla Glass is resistant, what is the minimum altitude required in order to be shattered?

  • thank you for your answer about the ir blaster

  • Thanks

  • strongest phone amazing design,,then ip 6s or g s6

  • There is no IR blaster, there are 2 little IR sensors 1 either side of the speakers at the bottom of the phone

  • hi forum, does anyone know were the infrared blaster is on this moto x force, as I cant see it anywhere.

  • Moto Maker is not available worldwide.

  • Yes if you don't wish shattered screen when phone is dropped.

  • With the motomaker website, you can choose, naylon balistic, soft cover, leather, and a message customize for 15 letters, and the colors of the materials and the colors of the details.

  • yes is dual sim, but is only 1 sim + microSD or dual sim

  • record video in 4K, full HD y 720p slow-mo

  • I recomend for less price , checkout the X style model , 100 dolars less and the best cost-benefit and down with the X play.

  • The display is garantee for 4 years, ¿Gorila Glass give the same ?

  • Is shatterproof better than Corning gorilla glass?

  • Hi, actually its not that expensive considering there's another one for $1000, if i had the $770 i'd go for it because its unlocked and you can use it with any one out there which if awesome, but at a $1000 hey jump at it they go for more than that from what i seen, good luck...

  • yea that's the same listing i saw. man, $770 is just so much. i will wait a little bit to see if anyone else on ebay sells it for cheaper. let us know how you like it!

  • you should Buy an LG device. Everybodys crying for removable battery and expandable memory there is many manufacturer who still made these phones. LG G4, V10 two good phones and the LG struggling to sell it. these two has everything what users wanted and wish for and no one buy it. Bad news due to not buying what they made for the customers might come the unibody LG G5 without removable battery. however I had the 3rd phone in a row without removable battery, the last 2 without memory expansion, and its fine.

  • When can i buy this in Canada? or will it ever come to canada?

  • Means its not out yet, im trying to buy it too lol and i live in Canada!

  • hi forum, does anyone know were the infrared blaster is on this moto x force, as I cant see it anywhere.

  • Style had Direct Wifi, Force does not. Two steps forwards one step backwards. Who will ever understand Motorola logic????

  • so, how can i purchase this unlocked phone if i live in the US? i see ebay has it for "preorder", for $770, but is that too much? and will it be in another language? help a noob.

  • Because you made such comment :D Removable battery would be nice but that's the trend, unibody devices. At least Moto put big battery inside.

  • Yeah, but still SoC likes to overheat. I had Turbo 2 and during ultra HD recording is heating a lot. Otherwise really good device and I'm planing to buy Force, because of unlockable bootloader.

  • why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!? why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!? why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!? why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!? why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!? why why Non-removable battery :( , why?!?!?!?!!?

  • There is a second version of the SD810

  • Companies such as Sony and Huawei and Microsoft managed the control the heat of Snapdragon 810 in their respective smartphones. I guess Motorola managed to fix the heat issues too.

  • Where is this review? Samsung phones are reviewed almost immeadiately...

  • Yes, It is, I already tried on mine and works as expected ;)

  • Moto X 2 gen and Moto X play do support Slo-Mo-video. I dont know about Moto x Force and Moto X Style but there's some software out there which could help you recording Slo-Mo.

  • Is this dual sim?

  • Does it capture video in 720p@240fps like a iphone 6s or nexus 6p?

  • Please review the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Come on GSM some sites are saying that this is the phone of the year and we are still waiting for your review!!

  • Looking forward for a review, GSMGuys!

  • Because of coming shopping season.

  • Its really my dream phone Almost stock android, big battery, not too big screen, enough ram (Nexus 5x should have be) Except for one thing "the femous sd810" Why not wait until next year and used sd820 instead moto, why moto why :(

  • No dual sim

  • Is it comes with dual sim..?

  • very good

  • Unfortunately not. Otherwise it would be perfect. :-/

  • Is there a review coming for this or droid 2? Would love to know actual battery life according to GSM Arena test standards.

  • With Fingerprint this phone was awesome

  • Is there any Fingerprint sensor? Would be nice ;)

  • I would consider get this phone if is available in MotoMaker. as the DROID Turbo 2

  • It has, just not as you think. no IR Blaster for remote control. IR sensors for Moto display.

  • meh...21 mp is too much for a mobile camera processor. seems like a money-making stunt. With MSM8994 they could have gone with Xiaomi frugality and economy and a bit more Huawei and the usual in-home design.

  • If they were as eager to drop stereo speakers, they could add fingerprint scanner...

  • No infrared

  • Have infrared?

  • According to the speclist, the phone isn't thick at all regardless of it's looks. It's even thinner than my moto x play.

  • The moto x force is good than, top specs and all you are asking for, plus durability. Also, buy a powerbank if you are worried about battery life in general, this phone has one of the thickest batteries available though.

  • Phone looks thick. Moto should modify their devices at regular interval. They are keeping the same design since 2013. Anyway specifications are excellent on paper. I guess Moto x style is better than this one.

  • I like the direction the Moto X family is taking, but I'll probably wait for the next generation.

  • But why only the black color?

  • no stereo speakers: "Front-ported loud speaker"

  • phone looks really thick

  • Due to overheating?

  • It's either they make it look like it has a single speaker at the bottom (to prevent fooling consumers for stereo speakers) or they put a fingerprint scanner in the space between the "two" speakers. Otherwise, I'd be glad to see stereo speakers.

  • All specs are great except for the dreaded SD810.

  • Hello please give me some info about Motorola phones, i can only buy a phone each 3 years, what is important for me? 1. have a very good camera that i can use as camera or scanner to send pictures or documents. 2.have enough memory to install some business programs. 3. have a good quality and battery time, i can not say to my customer wait until i charge my mobile! appreciate for your help

  • Now i hate to see SD 810 in smartphones

  • c/p from moto site Sensors Acceleromter Ambient Light Gyroscope Hall Effect Infrared Magnetometer Proximity

  • This phone is already available here in Brazil in the official Motorola Brasil website and also with Moto Maker. And yes, it's very expensive, even above the X Style price.

  • Why do Motorola hide the detail about sensors....?

  • Droid Turbo 2 = Moto X Force > Moto X Style > Droid Maxx 2 = Moto X Play > Moto G > Moto E.

  • this is a dream phone, but the price will be high :(

  • IMO much better than the moto x style/pure

  • Moto X play Moto X style/pure Moto X 2015 Motorola Droid turbo 2 Motorola Droid maxx 2 Moto X force? Did I leave anything? So confused right nw.

  • IR blaster: Essential to me as universal remote HUGE Battery. I can live with non removable as long as its a monster, This is. MICROSD Essential to me. Shatterproof Screen : Nice feature No Fingerprint Reader: Disappointing but liveable without. Wireless Charging, Non essential but nice feature. No Bloat, Early Software releases Going to upgrade from Note Edge as this one ticks all the boxes. Goodbye Samsung

  • After reading Moto's webpage carefully on this phone, i realized this phone is only splash resistant (like the X Play and X Style). They won't even mention an IP rating. this is an incredible bungle, water ingress is FAR more hazardous to a phone than a cracked screen. Way to drop the ball Moto :(

  • You mean like the 6, 6s, s plus, and 6s plus, as well as the 5s still being for sale? That is 5 models to chose from. Motorola has Nexus 6, Moto G 2nd and Moto G 3rd gen, Moto X 2nd gen and Moto X Play, Moto E. That is 6 options, compared to Apples 5 options.

  • Launched in Brazil.

  • Believe, in certain regions FM radio is really usefull. Here in Brazil, I need FM radio to listen live soccer games (listening over the internet have a delay about 20 seconds or more (not metioning the interruptions due low data rate)). In my oppinion, all cellphones should have FM transmitter to listen on car radio without cables or using bluetooth with low audio quality.

  • i think motorola started launching too many phones...that's not what i expect from motorola...too much hardware...why not learn from apple

  • Not rumored anymore... It has been launched here in Brazil. -

  • God.. cant believe still people demanding FM

  • come to HONG KONG please (^_^)

  • dual sim........pls...............????????????

  • I need stereo speakers

  • come to the UK please

  • Great features but No FM :(

  • Is this a dual sim phone

  • Awesome specs but but bad processor

  • awesome specs..was thinking about moto x style but now i am gonna wait for moto x force

  • lmfaoo

  • psshh more like $420 man.

  • Haha On point!

  • Some Important features expected 1. Fingerprint Scanners 2. OIS(Optical Image Stabilization) 3. USB Type C with fast charging and wireless charging 4. Amloed Screen Not any others LCD panel

  • hope this phone price under $400 :D

  • Dual sim???

  • Does it have an amoled display or what kind does it have?

  • This Moto X Force has good specs, but lacks FM radio :(

  • Moto Pl make it has LTE 2300 mhz support which is used in 4G in india. Also pl do not make a huge phone like moto x style

  • please release dual sim version also in india.....................it would be great........

  • Damn I know it's going to be above $400 but imagine.

  • You got a point

  • They should put finger print in the hole on the back becaus I think every moto user puts their finger in the holo because it sits good

  • Exactly...

  • that thing is going in my mind also

  • Moto has better battery and 32\64 memory storage.

  • Include a fingerprint scanner and wireless charging and you will have my money!

  • I was going to buy Moto X Style, now i'm not sure anymore...

  • If you are a selfie addict , wich you are based on your comment , go buy HTC Eye it has front 13MP camera ! Damm some people just want more stupid things everyday !

  • Read the specs

  • what about waterproof??

  • best specs moto with stock android experiance... bt wht about sensors...???

  • Moto x is phone feature is very well.battery capacity, garila glass,LTE,21 Mp camera etc.is the best qualities in this phone

  • its high end flagship model of moto...so you put fingerprint sensor at least then its complete flag ship specifications :)

  • Front camera is still matter of concern there should be 8 mp atleast.if that so there could be fantastic deal.all the best

  • For what? You have a 21mp at the back !

  • Crazy stuff who the boy needs salt shock resistance moto what kind of gimix is this stuff trting to implement on consumers all the best for sales

  • Hey..Moto.. Okay...but whats your length and width !! Im not expecting a very slim profile though...well...they all put it on..lolz

  • A real smart phone! Well done Motorola. You are back in the game.

  • finally moto with best ever specs. but front cam need to be atleast 8mp.
