I have had this phone(w510) now since December of 2012. I bought it some place on Fourth Ave. in Mount Vernon, New York and from day 1 have been having problems and the agent refused to change it...white screen, blank screen, refuse to power on, unable to detect memory card, unable to detect sim card ..the works... I definitely would never recommend my worst enemy to purchase this phone...

How can i tell if the motorola w510 is a china fake? Bought mine recently from groupon and was sent a piece of junk. Battery wrapped with a motorola stamped piece of paper, manual is a photocopy on cheap paper, charging usb slot does not close, keeps asking for sim card over and over again, battery cover is softest plastic material. Man, am i pissed. Lesson learnt - never buy electronics from groupon or NKY electronics from Melaka.

When I got this phone, it was intended as a possible replacement for my original FIDO phone, a Motor Renew W233. So when I dropped the W233 for its final time, it was put aside and I transfered my SIM card to the W510 without a problem. Of course, it turns out that the 2GB memory card needed reformatting to work in the W510. Apart from that the W510 has features which are absent from the W233 i.e. a camera (1.3 MP) and Bluetooth. Overall, this is a cellphone that has been a little more resistant to drops. As well, the GSM network has less drop outs than CDMA. So, I like this phone alot.

hi i had this phone for almost a year now and i said it was a pretty cool phone at first but after the first 6 months my w510 did not find my memory card, it worked with my other phone so i had to rely on the internal memory, after that other problems came in like i couldn't close my screen because the screen would go white, the phone would always restart when im using opera mini or the default broswer it would delete or corrupt some of pics or music i had in the internal memory and then finally the keypad always heat up. so in the end i hated phone for all its problems

helo..I have a motorola w510 phone and I have also experienced the same problem, 2 weeks after I bought the phone..It was simply not detecting the memory card. the memory card was fine on another phone I tested. Since it was still on guarantee, I brought it to the agency, and they got it repaired..and was working perfectly fine afterwards, I could use all the functions, store music n vids, etc..It is a great phone..But recently, after about one year, now that the guarantee is over, I am experiencing the same problem again, the mobile phone does not detect the memory card.. Ive tried to format the phone also, but the problem persists. I believe its a problem with the built in software in the phone..Have to pay to get it repaired now! I think I'll have to buy another one if the repairs cost too much.

My phone cant locate my memory card installed after i had closed the lid or cover.But when i off the phone for about 10 mins or more and open it the memory card together with the phone built in memory appears in the storage devices.and here's the problem.when i closed the cover lid and try to open again, it cant detect the memory card.have tried different card 2gb and below but the same problem appears.do i have avirus in my phone?Please help.

I've had this phone for abt a year and a half. It's decent. Recently though, it starting freezing when i sometimes play videos and the screen flashes white. The keypad gets worn down really quickly. Today I changed the keypad and now it gets super hot when i try to charge it and it doesnt seem to detect my memory card anymore. Help!

I have had the W510 phone in bubble gum pink since 2008 and it has alot of storage for texts, pictures,and videos.It has bluetooth link,car settings,airplane mode,and instani messaging. If i had to rate this phone from 1 to 10 i would give it a 7 .

I have a moto w510 sience 2008.It's a great phone.I never had big problem with hardware part's.I mean never had problems with display or with speaker or whatever.With the software part...dont worry.If i had a problem i just flashed a firmware and everything was ok.And this phone it last's 3-4 days with 3 hours of calls and about 200-300 msg/day.My carrier has some great offers with minutes and messages but this phone it lasts great.I have also a Motorola Z6.Its great but in 1 day his battery was empty.So...Good battery life,no problems(hardware),good reception.Great phone regard's.

I'm so glad I saw your post! I can't believe this has been the problem, but it has. I tried the troubleshooter on Motorola.com but the page won't load properly. Figures. My phone forced me to enter a year between 1988 and 2007. I'll just put up with it I guess.

I buy this phone in 2008 III 22. From Cosmote. For me works very fine. One problem was, when i made a too loud song on comtuter for ringtone and i damage the buzzer(speaker). That problem was rezolv in guaranty time and now works fine again. Like it.

I've had no problem with mine but don't understand the message memory meter - please bear with me as I am a senior citizen - there is a bar with six ball-like figures horizontally with a minus sign at the far left and a plus sign at the far right - my question is which number is for how much memory remaining, a lower number or a higher number, knowing that the numbers in the message memory meter go from 1 to 6. Thank you in advance if you are able and willing to answer my question. P.S. I have had no problem with the date on my W510.

Has anyone a problem with the software? My W510 shuts itself off all the time, because of the new year 2010 problem. As it seems, the software doesn't handle the change from '09 to '10, as it went crazy right in the first minute of this year. I changed the date to a previous one - '08 and the phone works fine. But I want to use it with the proper date - has anyone a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance

I purchased the Moto W510 used because of the investment made in batteries & chargers for my Moto Q and Moto Renew W233. The W510 is unique in that its firmware is recent enough to detect incompatible battery packs such as the BQ50. Both the backlight timeout (5, 10, & 20 seconds) and the display timeout (off, 1 minute & 2 minutes) allows one to see display & backlight timeouts to conserve battery power. I have backlight timeout set for 10 seconds, and display timeout, 1 minute - though I've had the cellphone on for over 8 hours since the last charge. My concern for battery life has been relieved by the initial use of this phone.

I had a sony w300i and it died after 2 years. This phone was a oh no I have to replace it and I'm stuck in a contact with a crappy company Who's razors did the white screen, strobe light, on, off, freeze thing to everyone I knew that had one. So the sales lady grabs this phone I said NO I had get this 17 razors in 6 months that looks like a razor. Oh no this phone's nothing like those. Well she LIED! after 2 weeks It freezes, Whites out, Turns off, Keeps turning off. Blinks, Take out battery re-apply battery than look it's loading SLOOOOOOOWLY. This is the WORST peice of crap besides their razor's I have ever owned! I'd love to find that witch and throw the peice of junk at her but she's no longer there. AVOID AT ALL COST! My razor from Verizon worked awesome by the way. I hate this phone with a royal passion, I hate that lying witch who talked me into it also.

I own this cell phone.And yes,it is really great,but for the first 6 months.I started having a problem with the screen,i open up the cell phone and the screen turns white for like 3-6 seconds.Then,it gets slower,you have to wait for the menu to show up.And then,the memory started glitching,i thought it was my memory card,but it was the cell phone.And now,i cant take any photos or music,because i dont have enough memory.I dont recommend this cell phone,it kinda sucks.I want to change it,and i think i will.I saw that other people are having the same problem and that master reset thing doesnt work,it doesnt solve anything,well,atleast not for me.I dont recommend this cell phone if you are going to use it for +6 months,dont buy it x(.

For the first 6 months, this phone was great. Excellent battery life, decent features with affordable price. The only trouble I had was with the installed browser. It just doesn't work. The web-session settings were fine because they work with opera mini. Then the problems started revealing themselves one by one. At first the memory card slot starts acting up. Sometimes it would work fine, sometimes it would say 'media unformatted', and other times it just fails to detect the memory card. At first I thought my card was faulty, but it worked fine on other devices. Then came the blank screen every now and then. Then the random hangs. After 1 year, my phone was still usable but mostly just for calling and texting. I can't use the camera and music player if the card slot keeps having random glitches. Swollen batteries (well my lousy charging habits probably contributed to this), I tried replacing the batteries but the phone wont accept the new batteries with message: Invalid Battery, Unable to charge. My conclusion: If you only plan to use this phone for 6 months or less, go ahead. Otherwise just avoid this phone.

The phone I had before was a V635 and it was great till the charger and the screen quicklt acted up and died..This phone at first made me say WOW! Compact and capable but... Six months later the battery started failing and the blank screen started to really piss me off.. I've had Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and a couple of Motoral's and nothing bites like W510 .. (6 months, come on! )

Hi, this is my 4th motorola, I loved this and the first (w-235) I had it for around 6 month , still working perfect, really no problem at all, last week I had the bad idea to tray to change for a ZN-200 , was the worst idea in several years I had to give back and lost money (restocking fee) I still using my 510 and am happy again. This a solid confiable device.

This handset has been amazing. I have loved it until just recently after having the phone for 6 months, the screen started having all the problems you will read from other owners of this device. I am so peeved at this particular model and I reported this problem to Moto themselves. They replied and told me to go to Master Reset to reset the phone. How stupid! Its the display flex cable or whatever. NOT THE MEMORY AND STUFF LIKE THAT! I am getting a new phone. I would NOT recommend this phone. Sorry. Thanks for reading, an unhappy-customer's review.

The problem is not with phone but with branded version of your firmware... I am extremely frastrated with that as well but in Canada, and possible in North America there was this copyright law issued about 1.5 ago causing your mp3 player to be disabled by your service provider in their version of software they put on the phone...

To put music on it it has to be MPEG4 go to iTunes and click on your music and click create AAC version and it should work or is=f you have a simple music converter click convert to MPEG4 format

I have had this phone for a little over a year now. i can't close it anymore every time i do and then open it back up the screen goes either white or all black and i have to turn it off take the battery out and turn it back on to work...i just don't close it anymore. Now that my warranty is up i need to buy a new phone. I would never purchase this phone again.

Yes, I have a w510. This phone records in QCIF the most. I don't know of a Moto phone that can record video in VGA resolution.

I'm very dissatisfied with this phone. After having mine for only six months, if I close the phone, then open it, the screen is completely white. I then have to turn the phone off and back on to read texts or see who called. And now when I text, it freezes up. sometimes it will flash and continue. Other times it has to be turned off and on again. Very annoying. I spent decent money on this because I thought it would be a quality product. Boy, was I ever wrong!!

I tend to disagree. It's a superb phone. I use a SE k850i as my main phone and W510 as a second phone. It's small and handy, has a great battery life, is reliable and has all the basic features. The camera is not good itself but it can record videos in VGA resolution! I was really surprised when I noticed that, the video quality is better than on my W850i. Mp3 player has good quality, same with display - it's rather small but is sharp and displays vivid colors. I really like this phone and would recomend to everyone looking for a simple phone for calls, texting and music. It's also really, really stylish. One of the best looking Motorola phones.

I have also been having the same problem.My w510 also surfs the internet all the time.I didnot know this until i got my bill.Which was over 500.00 data charges. i don't even go online with it at all.I only turn my phone on once a day to check voice mail.I have now distoryed the phone and,got a new one. I had a problem with battery at 6 months so I went back to carrier. They pried open the back and said "it's been wet no warranty". I got another battery and the phone has been fine for the last 7 months. Last week the phone quit the newer battery was swollen. I put in the old battery and the phone worked but it was getting warm in the lower left corner as soon as the battery went in. I took it to my techie and he pulled it apart and said there never was any water inside as the internal white dots were still white. So the phone is junk after 13 months with no good reason. Other than that I have no complaints. But will I buy another for $160? I think not.

I would not recormend this phone to anyone.I use to have the V555.It was great unit it wore out. W510 freezes up all the time.The Mp3 player doesnot work.You are unable use a memeroy card with it.I tried different brands also 1 and 2 gigs. Tried different formats on my pc also.The tech surport is very bad.I called and was told "i have know idea call back another time and talk to someone else."Then they hung up.My carrier also called and was unable to get any help.This also happend with another w510 on my account.Also my carrier tried brand new ones right out of the box.The speaker also works when it wants to.I have had problems from day one with this.Motorola will not even take it back.My final thought is this phone sucks.

You probably got the lemon out of the bunch. Although this phone was having problems with its software, which they have solved, it is great!!try using your memory card to hold songs, its funny cause mine holds over 100. Every cell phone phone batch has is problems, and Im sure your insurance company didn't give you a "bad" phone on purpose.

Every phone has the "T9" option, which prints out the words for you. For the W510, when texting, go to "options"..."text setup" and turn "off" "word completetion". This is a great phone. Speaker is good quality if you listen to lots of music. comes with a seperate memory card which allows you to store MORE music, MORE photos, MORE videos.

There was a problem with the softaware in this phone. If you still have your warrenty, (having it for four months you should) you can get it replaced for free and no hassles.

i don't really like the phone. i text pretty fast but when i'm done, the phone is still typing what i said. it's very slow. Also, without a memory card it can't hold a lot. I've had the phone for only four months and i think it's broken already. there's no water damage and i have taken good care of it. Now it has randomly started freezing and i can't pick up calls. It turns off whenever i get a text message. It's extremely frustrating.

I have had this phone since early September and I like it. The sleek feel of the phone is wonderful and it is lightweight. I have the purple one and I must say it looks so much better in person than it did on display, the purple is so vivid and the keypad light is purple too! The phone has a 1.3 mp camera that takes really nice pictures and give you lots of camera options for optimal photos. Daylight, indoor, outdoor and color options are just a few things you can do with the camera options. There are cool sound effects for taking pictures or you can choose no sound at all to sneak some pix ;) To expand the memory of the phone is very easy and fool proof. There are awesome preinstalled screen savers and wallpapers. The ringtones are really cool too and the speaker is loud and crisp. The phone has a strong ringing/msg vibration(if you choose to use the vibration) The installed games are sudoku and Block Breaker Deluxe. The mp3 music player works excellently and allows music to be played over the speaker phone so others can enjoy. While my power was out from a storm it was really handy to have this cell phone to play mp3s. The bright backlight was really handy too. The antenna is really amazing. I never have dropped calls or am wandering around for a signal. The sound quality of the earpiece is great too. i can hear people perfectly and there isn't an echo when I am talking. It features a "say command" feature that allows you to speak "call name, send email, send voicemail, send messagelook up, go to, check items, turn prompts off" and maybe some more I am forgetting. The phone also has themes to change the appearance of the phone menus. It is really easy to install and find downloaded files {mp3s, wallpapers, screen savers, games etc} The delayed call feature is really great. You can use a prerecorded message or record your own that allows a message to play when someone calls and you can go to a quite room or whatever. Example, when I was in a noisy restaurant I received a call and pressed the "delay call" button the person heard, "Your call will be answered in a moment" while I was able to walk outside where it was quite. There are many cool features on the phone and the overall quality [sound, signal, appearance, screen,etc} makes it a great value.

you must have and try it w510 you know it is a good phone in terms of features for the price you can, and one good thing of moto is they have the unique stlye/design of their mobiles phones i find it elegant compare to nokia but the most elegant phones in the market now is the samsung phones. You know what ive try several fones from nokia,asus,sony ericsson and samsung in different units now im with motorola i dont like anyfurther of nokia now a days they are quiet expensive for unreasonable units such as for 1208/1200 it cost for php 1900 0r $35 i rather buy moto w230 it is practical comes with fm,up to 2G for memory mp3 player.

Ive had a SE Z600 for the longest time ... and i recently switched to motorola W510 .. ( well i kinda had to cus it came with my new contract - all the other fones werent appealing ) .. anyways.. after the switch i immediately regretted my decision. I really "dislike" this phone . I cant hear people clearly at all .. even with the volume on Hi .. i thought it was defective piece and so i got it exchanged only to find out that they are all like that ... half the words are "cut off" / or "swallowed" .. i have to repeatedly asked ppl to repeat things and its incredibly frustrating . Plus , the software isnt the most user friendly .. it just looks flashy , but all it does is, it takes longer (more steps) to get to places/items on the fone . More complicated in other words . I recently just switched back to my 3 and half yr old Sony Ericsson Z600 .. and i couldnt be happier !

My husband and I have this phone from our cellular company for 3 months now. Originally we had a Sony and LoVeD it! They got wet and the insurance gave me this phone as a "replacement". We really hate this phone. It freezes up all the time while playing games, yesterday I could not text because it froze up. Also I don't care for the lack of space on this phone. I can only fit 2 songs on it and the delay in the buttons is really slow. Not worth the money if you are thinking of buying it. We are going back to our cellular company today, it is junk.

You can't apply an MP3 as a ringtone. Stinks for the actual cost of the phone. I found a shortcut around the system!!!!! Go to the multimedia menu, go to sounds, there is an option to record a new sound with the phone. Chose your song that you want, play it loud enough on a nice soundsystem such as your home stereo or computer, then hold the phone up to the speaker and hit record on your phone. Then you can apply the new sound as a ringtone. its that easy!! Good luck.

I agree.. this phone has alot for what I paid for it, around $50.. Has a little lag between menus but not bad & looks fantastic and is very reliable, no hassles at all! I recommend this moto for the price and is a good package.. Go Moto!

I am not sure that it is the song that you downloaded that is the problem. I had a motorola phone v150 or v180 something like that, before I got my KRZR that had a similar problem. What it was is the ribbon that goes between the screen and the keypad part of the phone. Opening and closing the phone caused it to wear out and eventualy connections are broken. This is a disadvantage to flip phones. I dont' know how long you've had your phone, so this may not be the problem, but I just thought I'd let you know my experience

unlimited texting is a service provided by your service provider...you don't pay for sending text messages. This has nothing to do with the amount of memory that your phone has.

I recently purchased a Motorola W510 and have 2 problems with the phone: 1. Every time I insert the 1GB microsd card that came with the phone, the phone freezes and I have to remove the battery to reset the phone. 2. I am unable to connect my phone to my computer. I have the USB cable that came with the phone, but when I connect it nothing happens. The phone didn't come with any software and I am wondering if I need any specific program. Recently I download a song to my W510 phone through the PC connection. After that, it behave strangely. This phone does what it is supposed to do. It has decent features, a decent camera and is priced decently. If you are on Fido you won't be able to set mp3s/mp4s as ringtones as that feature is locked out.

@kenith... ...see...what you have to do is... ...connect your phone to your computer via USB. Then, look at files right click the file u want to rename,and rename...because this phone does not have that option to rename on the phone itself... :)

I bought this motorola W510 at junrex philippines ayala branch. I really loved motorola, the style and really looks durable for me. I'm a motorola fan but after I got my first motorola phone, it really is so disappointing that i've just been using it for a month and a half and I don't see any display on screen. The mere fact that i've taken so much care of it since its my first cellphone. I bought it first week of november 2007. But it's damaged on the first week of january this year. I went to the shop to get it fixed. But they told me that it could be fixed for 3months. too long for me but i waited. I went back to the shop april but its still not fixed until now. and they told me that it takes 6-8 months to get a replacement for a flex of motorola. OMG. who would want to wait for 8 months just for a replacement of a flex on your phone?. As a customer its really disgusting and disappointing. It should be a customer satisfaction due to warranties. but they are consuming my 8months warranty for a factory defect. Its not my fault if its deffective. =(. any suggestions to this? until now i still didn't get to play much on the feature with my phone.

The phone has good basement reception. We live in a basement and service has been really good. It's easy to transfer your pics from your pc to the phone but you have to store in the smallest size. It's pretty good...

Camera is okay I guess, takes good pics (for a phone) outdoors, so-so pics indoors. Much better cam than RZR V3 in any case. I'd rate it 6 out of 10. My overall opinion of this phone is you get what you pay for. It's not cheap therefore has more features than average but it's not high-end either except perhaps in looks since it's based on a high-end visual design. Aluminum front plate is a nice touch.

There's only one difference beetween the w510 and w5. And is the Software, both are p2k but the w5 is more recently and made for listening music so it goes faster.

@nTSe If you had done some other researching, you'd know that the w510 is a entry-mid level budget phone. Thus the reason for lack in high end features such as WiFi and 3G. How can you even try to compare this to the Motoroa 'Luxury'?? That's like saying a Hyundai sucks because it doesn't have the leather seats like a Bentley. As for mp3 as ringtones, with regards to Fido branded W510's, they have locked this out. I can't even set my own voice recording from this phone as a ringtone. I was only able to get a small (less than 2mb) file as a ringtone when I d/l it using the mobile browser (I tried just drag/dropping the file first and it didn't work).

@Albert0 i think that u need to install a SW in order to download files from the phone to the PC.But if you save the photos on the memory card you will have no problems downloading them on the PC. Noce phone but didnt had teh time to "use" it too much to see any problems:D

Hi Eddie here again, heres how to put mp3 ringtones on the phone. Let me knw if it works for you and if u hav ani problems just ask. found a workaround by replacing the stock "Rings" mp3 file with your own file. Use p2k commander, first back up /c/mobile/audio/~alertfile323.mp3 to your pc, delete it from your phone. then rename your own mp3 file to ~AlertFile323.mp3 and copy it to /c/mobile/audio. Now you can go to Media->Audio, select Rings and apply as ring tone replying to all the other posts>>other then the mp3 ringtone thing

Excellent: design, voice quality and many features for the price. I no longer use a land line and was attracted to the phone for the "up to 8 hours talk time". I was disappointed to find the talk time was only 3 hours (approx) after 3 complete battery drains and complete recharges. This is without using any of the many features that would drain the battery. When entering the numbers for dialing the phone constantly froze up. Each time I had to remove the battery and place it back in again. Fortunately the Canadian carrier had a 15 day return policy which I took advantage of. Every review I have read speaks favourably of the talk time. Has anyone else experienced problems with "freezing"? I was favourably impressed with the phone's features (love the voice dialing software, which eliminates the need to set it up). I am going to consider my first W510 handset to be a lemon and give it one more try.

ok i have this phone for few days and i can say this -about scrolling in contacts - no problem and i even can wright the name i want ,is not -just with the first letter -pictures & films pretty good for a phone -the battery lifetime i'm not to happy with it or maybe it takes more time to configure his power,cause i have this phone for 3 days -the meniu is not changed or not to much, i had a motorola v220 before , -when u are in meniu is slow but is nothing surprising ,all motorola are like this , if u make upgrade for soft maybe it works better

/You shld not be seeing this 'problem' , the W510 I have works fine, the contact list shld match what you typoed . you shld probably contact the Mot cust service centers or hotline to verify and fixed this . You could either scroll to locate the person you want to contact or type in the first char na dit shld pt you the person that match what u type..

When in the contacts list, I enter the first letters of an entry which I want, however instead of going to the entries that match those letters it goes to the very fisrt entry. -*-*- I enter 's' in my contacts and it takes me to Al eg: Al Eddie Sam Tony anyone knw how to fic this. I have the W490 which is the tmobile branded version. You can apply ringtones stored on the micro sd card. I've got it set to have mp3 ringtones stored on the card assigned as ringtones and have my pics stored on the 20mb internal memory. I imagine that I could probably put about 100-150 custom mp3 ringtone clips on my 1gb micro sd card. The only gripe I have is that I can't get any of the p2k software to recognize the phone. Those apps freeze, but I can get my L6 and V330 to instantly be recognized by p2k tools 0.8.6. I've even tried p2k tools v3 and it still crashes.

The battery is good, if you use too much the camera or the speaker to listen to music it lasts a few hours, but if you give normal use it have 3 to 4 days. i would say the battery is not a problem in this phone.

you can set mp3 as ringtones for calls, sms, and for the alarm. you can use a full song as a ringtone if you want. besides it supports high rate mp3 and VBR mp3

The W510 and W490 are identicle physically, but the only difference (to my knowledge) is the W510 has Push To Talk and the W490 doesn't because the W490 is for T-Mobile and T-Mobile doesn't support PTT.

@Jorge and 007 Some phones annoyingly let you select only the first letter of a name. Imagine what it is like to scroll all the P names when you have like 40 contacts starting with that letter. It was the only thing I hated in my SE k700i. I really don't know, but maybe you should take the phone to the place where you bought it, 007. Explain and check if the other phones do the same. I suppose it is a fault in yours.

It's a good phone, but I am really angry about the camera zoom. It is a big lie. If you take a picture with 2X Zoom, it is half size compared to a normal picture. If you take a picture with 8X zoom, the picture file is 8 times smaller that a normal one, so, apart from what you see on the screen, there is no zoom at all.

Maybe your provider has blocked the option to apply your mp3 as a ringtones cuz you didnt pay the copyrights (Yeaaaa Right). But someone told me you could see your provider to unlock it OR you can flash your phone (but you can also break it by doing that). I had the same problem so i've changed my phone. Good Luck!

There is some programs, that you guys can find on Net, called MP3 to ringtones or something like this. With those programs you can extract any part of the song, place it to Tones folder in your phone and set it as ringtone. Good luck in your search!

Great phone. I've owned several Motorola cellphones and this is the best so far. Way better than V3i, not only in features but also in price. Battery life is very good. It gives all that it promises. The only con I've found so far is that there are not many customization tutorials yet, but I think it's just a matter of time until someone comes up with them. Really cool cell. I recommend it 100%.

gr8 camera. believe me it works much better than a nokia 1.3mp camera. the user interface is really cool with all details taken into consideration. the only problem is that, u cant download themes or menu icons pack onto the phone yet.may be some time latter, some1 will come up with a P2K software for w series.

I just got my Motorola W510 and it is excellent. The camera is truly NOT bad. It's almost as good as a 2MP, seriously you should see it. I really like the battery life on this phone and also has GREAT signal for AT&T. I prefer this over the Motorola K1 that I have.

There are three sad things on this phone, one no radio and 2, why didn't the phone retain the front-flashing led signals similar to w220? That could have pushed the prices down and in return fit in the radio. The screen size is also small for browsing...shame

I think the phone is nice for a mid range line I'm thinking that maybe low end will have vga cameras and mid range will have 1.3megapixel...perhaps that's what motorola is trying to achieve But I'm pretty sure that phone will be so overpriced, at least in my country. Motorola Rizr K1 cost 500$USD, and Sony ericsson W810 and Nokia 5300 are at 350$USD and they both bring more stuff than Rizr K1.
