This phone is horrid. We bought it from a boost store brand new - the agent raved about it, one day after owning it, it started automatically shutting down, rebooting itself - then it would freeze and I'd have to reboot. The screen keyes right above the keypad (which lets you go to the home screen or go back a page) doesn't work at all anymore. This phone has never worked correctly and the only thing they offered was a refurbished phone when we bought this BRAND NEW! DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PHONE - they are actually selling them for $1.99 at some places and it's not even worth that!

Ive had this phone since July of 2012 and it is now December of 2013. There has been some annoyances with this phone, i can admit. Between restarting itself every other day and not sliding when i want to all the time. But the fact it!, I have downloaded well over 300 songs and 10 fairly long videos without disruption or any freak out whatsoever from the phone. It's pretty reliable when need be (at least mine is)

I'm on my fifth one of this phone because we've had to have it replaced every single time. The one I have now has lasted the longest, but is still problematic. It doubles keystrokes while typing and frequently attaches random words to what I've keyed when I hit the space bar after the word is written. The previous ones I had would freeze and shut off at random, sometimes refusing to even turn back on. This one does that occasionally, but I can deal with the occasional glitch. Still, it shouldn't do it at all. I can't use most of the apps available because they use up too much of the memory and the storage capacity isn't nearly adequate for the apps offered. I will be so glad when it's time to replace this. It needs to be put out of my misery!

After having this phone for over a year I can say that its useless. At first the phone worked great but after a couple months it blocked calls, went to voice command by itself, and turned off every few hours. Now the screen only works half the time. If you were stuck in a ditch with nothing but this phone I'd suggest accepting your inevitable demise, it's that useless.

Please do not consider this phone. The physical keyboard on mine went out within three months. I continuously lost a 3G signal until a tech upgraded my service from Android 2.2.2 to 2.3.5. Recently my stock Texting app has begun failing. I'll be texting. The words won't show up on the screen until I rotate my phone' and then if I misspelled anything, I have to use the failing physical keyboard to fix it. To do this I had to count the number of letters that I'd have to delete. I'd then backspace that many times (counting in my head). When I finished, I rotated the phone again to see if the keyboard backspaced the correct number of times. If not, I'd DSO this all over again. Now all my apps are locking up, throwing errors and shutting down. I won't buy another Motorola Smartphone.

I have this eprt. I wish I didn't. I have replaced three batteries, and three charger cords. It continously sends me to voice command without my even touching it. I have to take the battery out periodically to reset it. I still have 9 months before I qualify for any kind of rebate. The other day I asked the person at the Sprint store if they still sold the eprt. She said "no." What does that tell you?

Your Factory Unlock Code Doesn't work mean its override by Carrier(Sprint)via Over the Air (OTA).You can Contact them and Ask for the new Unlock code. Other wise you have Only one option and it is Direct Unlock via Sigmakey. Want help contact me [email protected]

I am really annoyed with this phone. It locks up all the time and now i am to the point that I have to take the battery out, turn it off and wait any time I attempt to use the texting or e-mail portion of the phone. I get locked out totally and this phone is only a few months old. I am very disappointed in it.

Hi, I am in Panama. I got this phone for my girlfriend (he had a Blackberry and wanted something similar, but in Android), it is good and solid. We rooted it and removed several useless Sprint apps and features (like the network registration process at start up), the only thing we havent been able to fix is that whenever we dial *611 to call our Local Service Provider Customer Service, the phone automatically dials the Sprint Customer Service for Roaming users, not the local service. I cant find the way to remove that setting. Does someone else have this problem using the phone with another carrier outside US? Doesn anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

My Review of Motorola XPRT Pretty sturdy and good feel structure. Qwerty keyboard is small like that of blackberry. The Display is good enough and smooth to the touch. GSM+CDMA single Sim only. 5 MP dual LED camera. The processor is pretty good and most of the apps run smoothly. Not suited for big Games. The Battery Life is simply awesome. Lasts around 1.5 days on 2G network. It is perfect for Business and Office use. Android rocks on any phone.

I've got this device few months ago from the US, factory unlocked, and am using it here in Taiwan for GSM.. it didn't work on Taiwan CDMA network (AsiaPacific). I am disappointed with the answers i got from the replies here... This device supports CDMA, but you need to flash the device so it can recognize your local CDMA networks, for those who have Sprint sim .. then cay roam internationally in the CDMA mode.. there is no problem with the GSM networks.. it's working fine with me but i need to type + then international code for any number i want to dial except for US numbers.. this is bothering.. besides.. i need to activate it on Sprint network so i can avoid the bothering screen searching for networks at the start up which takes several minutes to tell you (failed) and then you need to set up the network and roaming modes.. this piss me off every time the device is re-booted.. My advice.. if you can flash the device successfully then go ahead and buy it.

Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless and Networks > Network mode From there u can select "Automatic" or "Any CDMA" it will search for the network, will take some time.

Just got this phone. I've had about every high end phone there is an this thing is amazing. From the GPS navigation to music capabilities and voice dialing, truly the best Android out there. Sprint offerings of free market uploads of which, all of what you want in a phone is there. Simply awsome

I just bought this phone and put a non-US SIM card and it works, hence the phone is not locked! The only way the phone is being locked as if you put an AT&T or T-mobile SIM card and try to use the phone "in USA", then it would not work.

Difference between this and droit pro....1. Battery, battery, battery...sprint upped the battery. 2. Moved around some keys. 3. Cosmetic. The chrome is moved and the back is not shiny. It is a matte that doesn't show fingerprints. 4. Imo...not Verizon...hate those crooks.

great phone runs good long talk time and great keyboard. also nice to know i have un limeted data from sprint. had an evo exchanged it for this phone battery last twice as long and the 3g speeds seem to be almost as fast as the evo if you could ever get it to pick up the 4g.

UPDATE: After extensive work with Motorola level 4 technical support and our company IT department, I was able to get the Corporate Exchance email to work. Now I have an XPRT and it is working fantastic. It is a great device and I love the Droid OS.

This is a great phone. Keyboard is very easy to use, good document capabilities, 9 hour talk time, droid and intuitive to use. I bought it and used it for a day. Hated to return it because it is really a good device. Fatal flaw - Although it is advertised to sync with exchange this device would not work with our corporate system. After EXTENSIVE work with our IT, Sprint and Motorola it was determined that the device will not support it?! So if you don't need exchange service, you'll love the phone. If they fix this issue I would go get one immediately.
