Recently I heard on the radio that Nokia builds a 60 month life cycle in to its mobile phones. Now (keeping in mind that an average contract lasts 24 months after which a person receives a new phone)I have been using my 6670 currenty for 68 months and its still going strong, most definitely thee best phone ever put together. i bought my N6670 when it first came out of the market...it's the best nokia phone i ever had(second to my N76 which i bought 2 years ago)...i just can't give it away...some friends told me that my phone still looks new although it's been with me since forever. just bad that it's not available now...i think no matter what kind of mobile phone model you have, if you just know how to take care of it, it will still stand the test of time...NOKIA FOREVER!!!

By far the toughest phone I know. I had 5110. 3100. 1100. 1101-1110. 6680. and so on. The software has never been a problem, but opera mini can't save page. I do some damage with the * button, it becomes a little hard to push. But come on after a couple of years of rough usage? biscuits.

Hi is good looking, durable, but missing fm. Battery talktime stands for 4hrs. It is the battery that needs to be changed,other than it i did not expreienced any problem using it. If you are looking for basic features this one is good. Most like it because of its durability and design.

Its a gr8 phone i bought it almost 5 years ago n only thing i changed in these 5 years was the battery. i've even downloaded contents more than 40MB n still have no problems with internet its very durable too it's fallen almost on every surface(xcept water) still its in a perfect working condition. Just recently i formatted it coz of one virus from my friend's PC. Just one problem is that we cannot access its files n folders while connected via bluetooth. Rest is all fine with the phone. Its still with me working in its perfect condition.

Heya, 1. Always be careful what type of symbian version app you install to 6670 or any symbian phone even all the N and E series would mess up with certain apps running on them not designed to run for that specific version of nokia symbian. Nokia are old makers and are very smart, they have kept up with windows mobiles advanced in hand cpu's like OMAP and ARM which I believe a lot of s60 v3's like n73/n95/e65 ect! 6670 is quarter the power and speed of loads of opened up running apps like WM5 (windows mobile 2005) I've had an IMATE jam for long now and is still impressive, over 400Mhz, my latest HTC is over 400Mhz too, these are the things to look out for in a mobile device next time ya in the mood to spend at least 300 quid on a mobile device! For all who never knew too, you hold onto the menu key and any symbian using the symbian key should bring up a app/task manager so if phone gets slow in a app and can't quit it or do something else, you can press the 'c' button on any highlighted running app to close it or the selection navigation key to enter the app! Ps. sorry, Answer to the question about messages, Maybe this time you need to fully reformat the 6670, the instructions are in the user manual! Or you can be like me and think more technical to know that mobiles before 2007 have specific unchangeable start up modules we sometimes cannot change like we can change how windows on a pc starts up. Its most probably the mem card, some sort of corrupted file that hangs the phone each time something to do with mem card gets used. format it fast! Best idea for messages is try connecting to nokia pc suit and save loads of messages ya wanna keep then format mobile, then this time go into messaging / options / settings / other / memory in use, rather than phone memory, use the memory card memory, it should hold thousands upon thousands depending on if ya have a big enough capacity mem card or if using the standard what comes with it 64mb's, only have a few mps'3 on there for nice ringtones/message tones but at a low bitrate so mps's are no more than 1.2MB@5minutes long, most frequencies of a equaliser is not needed when on a mobile device due to the mobile speaker will not be able to play most of the sound frequencies either so save that mem space and even have high quality AMR's even but AMR's that are converted using Pc software rather than the crappy mobile microphone which is really designed for speech frequencies so 1k bass and 1500k high's sounds will always be unclear thus music sounding like muffle's! Obviously on the newer nokia's like e-series and n-series all run on a respectable symbian s60 V3 Os which is like the win xp of nokia's! An Excellent Mobile Handset Phone!!!!!!!!! Indeed. I've been using this Phone from June 2006 and No Problems till date. Now from last 2 months it has become little slow means in Receiving/Sending SMS or reading any Datas it process very slowly. I contacted the Service Centres but my problem is not resolved. I request to Nokia People if they can suggest how can I transfer the Datas of Phone Memory to Card Memory? As the Phone Memory is approaching the maximum permissible Limit but 19 MB space is availble on Card Memory.The problem now whenever I receive few SMS it shows instruction to delete some datas from Memory. I have already deleted many folders but can not see the details of datas stored on Phone Memory and at the same time can not delete my stored datas as it is important for me. Please Help. ive also been using this phone since it first came out. that's more than 5 years ago. been through everything with me; national service, school, overseas trips, mountains, etc, and it still works like a gem. ive got over 2000 valuable smses and hundreds of pictures inside so to me this phone is priceless. i'll probably get a new phone soon since 1mp cameras are defunct these days but i'll never forget my 6670. truly great phone.

1st go to gallery where you have kept your mp3 play that mp3 in the gallery and stop the song in between and then go to options in that you will see "Set as a ringtone" option.

i used to have both Nokia 7610 and 6670. i really loved it. i put 1GB MMC on both and i hav so many apps and there were no hangs and restarts at all. bot the 6670 has a smaller keypad at the bottom and my finger is a bit big and it is harder to press. now i still have them both and im now using a black N82 and N73 ME.

I've had this phone for years. It was one of the best before the nseries was started. It was among the original nokia smartphones. The 6670 lacked a radio, had mono speaker, 1mp camera, supported up to 512rsmmc and used pop-port which were the only disadvantages. The phone features were document viewer, themes, decent battery life, durable, lots of third party apps through s60, a cheap price tag and was relatively small back then. It was the perfect phone for its time.

bought this cell 2.5 yrs ago n it has served me faithfully since. i always dropped it n it fell quite hard on floor. countless times but it's still okay until recently i don knoe y i kant power it on. it's time to get a new one! my best phone ever! it's really great. you can do almost whatever you want with it. n i think it looks n feels solid too as compared to other nokia model like 5300 n 6680 whc i think like so fragile! but there's only one thing i don like abt it - the audio isn't really great n it's mono.

This phone would probably be my best phone i've ever had! i had this phone around 3 years ago.. but then someone stole it of me on the party! I've changed to some other phones, but I can't get my mind of this phone. This phone is such a great phone for ANYTHING, BASICALLY ANYTHING. Fast phone, I personally had no problem with the keypad (much better than 7610 - not confusing), really great user interface, and very, very user friendly. I would buy this phone again (if there's still some stores who sell it back at my hometown). And, I'm switching to Nokia E70.. Can't wait to have it!!!!

I have this phone for about 2+ years now and it's been great. i had problems for the first couple of months.. mostly it froze on me, but everything work great now, until one day the memory card deleted itself. somehow.. so i lost all of my games and features. at first i was sad but everything is cool now. the phone is very durable and it went through hell with me.. i dropped it in a shopping mall once and it broke into 3 pieces.. keypad came off, front cover came off, and everything came off :D but i got it to work normal again ^^ just keep in mind that nothing is perfect, so you can't expect this phone to never do u wrong, and you gotta accept an error once in a while. overall, i lov this phone. very durable and the best part is I havent seen nobody in SF has the same phone :D

I've this fone for 16 months have a lil prob it gets stuck sometimes but still it works & if I switch it off every 3 months it works perfectly. Got a 64mb memory card when I bought & now 512mb of 6630. I feel that this is the one of the good models. I feel that it would be great if it had a 3G in this. I would say that only the great thing abt this fone is the camera. It would have been good if it was 1.8mp.

I've had this phone for about a year and for the most part everything works great! Nokia PC suite sync easily so the phone works as a great PDA substitute. My only complaint is after I've customized it and downloaded stuff it takes a little while to open text messages. Other than that I love it!

Now that I had this phone for more than 1 year, I'm quite satisfied. It responds well to commands. I had lots of applications installed on it and by using a 1GB memory card, I have everything with me all the time. Nowadays there are lots of better models to purchase, but I still recommend this masterpiece to people who are interested in having a cheaper but good-working Symbian phone and they don't care for stereo audio or 3G.

I like this phone verry much. The phone got washed in a washer, i took it apart washed with cold water so i can get all the soap out of it, left it on the desk for couple of hours to dry, put it back together, the phone turned on which i tought was unbilivable, the only thing that didn't turn was the speaker and the bluetooth, the screen had some soap left in but it was ok, once it got hot outside i left it at the desk to dry litle bit more and the next morning everything was back to normal like it never happend i was suprised, i love this phone iam not going to change it for anything.

GOOD POINTS:when mp3player 3.50 is downloaded into it the volume is very loud and much louder than any other phone i have seen.the phone is very durable and when it falls down it doesnt break or does any of those funny thing motorolas do. The phone can be pimped with a 2gb mmc card and that gives you a whole lot of applications and other things and you can even make it into an ipod if you like.i have been using this phone for a long time and i have never ever had any problen with it.yes this phone is your choice and i think the only competitors are the nokia 3250 and n91 apart from those this fone is da bomb .do for it and you'll see what i mean

To rk and mel, I own a 6670 and I am not encountering any problems so far but my advices to you are;- 1).Do not use music softwares like mp3playerv3.50 ,ultramp3 too much with maximum volume in 6670's loudspeaker .Use built in Realplayer for best life. Becoz mp3player increases volume wrongly which may damage hardware 2).Use antiviruses often ,keep bluetooth usually off when not in use 3).Use trusted applications (form friends etc)

Great camera anyway 3230 is another choice in same budget- 1.3 megapixel camera (but bad lightning),FM, mono output through 2 EARPHONES in good volume. Think it 6670 great camera 3230 better music

I bought a nokia 6670 three months ago. Within a week some programs wouldnt work and some buttons wouldnt work either. My dealer sent it to nokia DOA and i had a new one returned to me. A year back I bought 6670. and was impressed. after a year it started giving trouble. speaker went bad. problem in switching on. software problem and so on. now there was a displaty problem. I was told that IC was faulty. it was replaced but it did not work. now I am told that there is a problem in PCB which is not repairable. To download songs from your PC to phone: First plug in your phone into your PC using the cable that should have come with the phone. Open up Nokia PC Suite. It should then come up with a menu, select Transfer Music and start transferring.

I'm not sure of this. But I think there's actually no difference in specifications between the 6670 and 7610. The only difference is in appearance with the 6670 having a more business look while the 7610 has a funkier look. Personally I didn't like the keypad of the 7610 so I chose the 6670

to jadeed 3gp is the format that the nokia 6670 saves videos in. This means that when you record a video, it will save as Video01.3gp T9 is the dictionary system the 6670 uses in typing sms. This predicts what word you will type when using sms and make messaging much faster.

To the guy below me: Maybe its your SIM card, old SIM cards sometimes cant manage to send messages. I know it sounds unbelievable, but i just bought a 3250 and i couldnt send any sms, they exchanged my old sim card for a new one and voil�... problem solved. Hope you find my advice helpful.

the software on my nokia 6670 has gone several times and even after repair the same thing happens, the messages wont send and say resend later amd they dont, this is a really good phone, but a dissapointing software for messaging.

To green day, 6670 has no infrared but has bluetooth, which is better .2GB card works fine and reasonably fast. I tested a double density 2GB card which had xtra pins apart from regular 7 pins and it worked fine. WARNING :- DO not try this CARD on 6600 .It will Xplode (hang) To vavi, Switch bluetooth on in both phones.Select "shown to all" in visibility.Go to gallery ,select the file and in options select "send via bluetooth" and select your friend's device from the search list.Let your friend answer "yes" on his phone. Message will be sent.

service pack 1 or 2 is a windows thing...its part of windows and has nothing to do with the nokia software. What u must do is go to a computer store and ask for service pack 1 or 2...installing this will not delete any data on your computer. Service pack 2 is better to get since it is newer and has much more than service pack 1.

If someone sends u a tone or an mp3 via bluetooth or mms. Play the tone/mp3 in the fones mp3 and then press stop. Once the song is stopped, u can save to the mms. To send a tone/mp3 via bluetooth or mms, go to wherever the song is saved inside ur gallery, highlight it, press options than scroll down to send and choose via mms or bluetooth

to daniel I assume that u are using bluetooth to transfer music to your handset.When the mp3/aac file is received on your Phone in the messages,open the file and it should open your music player,then stop the file that is being played and press options which should have an option to save and it asks u if you want to save it to the Phone or the memory card.If this is not the case then You should use FExplorer(version 1.16 being the latest) to save the song to your memory card.If you are using a data(USB) cable then the pc should be reading your memory card to which you would save the music files.If you have any problems feel free to email me.Hope this helps you.

hey i love my 6670.. i have an mmc of 512mb and still the handset is running as fast as before..but im concerened about its real player mp3 is mono..and it sound kindof sick when u listens through the head phones..and then the absence of fm. but i would b happy if my mp3 can be played sterio..and i dould use dual headphone !!! wish my dream come true .....

i like my 6670 i have even up graded its mmc to 512mb and its working as fast as b4. but iam truely concerened about the mp3 stuff..its mono and doesnt sound as good as 6630 plays with a head phone..then fm radio..well..as we can down load vertual radio and other 3rd party software..i wont talk about the fm radios absence in this model

well thinking of buying on as they sell in my local shop for �130 sim free and it looks the same as my nokia 7610 but the keymat is much better so it may be the same phone with just the keymat changed...funny shape though like my 7610..but that works and works,never went off and has had a hard life...you say in the spcs it (the nokia 6670) uses a dv-mmc this is not true as they usa a standard rs-mmc and the one i use is a 1 gig card so i think that needs to be changed...

An extra 256 MB memory card has made the phone extra ordinary. I like the cool UI of the phone. The addition of extra memory card has slowed down the phone a little bit but the over all performance has been too good. Availability of useful softwares makes it more worth it. I recommend the phone.

I bought 6670 nearly a year ago, and i think its just awesome. Though with just 1.0MP camera, images are sharp and the white balance is acceptable. Despite the chunky size (which looks hideous in my jeans)i'm still glad I bought it. Battery life is durable too.

Hi, I'm Flo and I'm from Romania.I have this phone for 9 months and I'm very impressed of the performance, that hasen't changed a bit.It's still as new.I tried a lot of softwares and they all worked perfectly, to bad many of them were trials.I'm also impresed by the camera.a friend of mine has the 6630 with 1.3 mega pixel camera, and I must say I don't see any diference in the pictures of the two.It is a good phone, to bad it's already old.when I look at the new N Series....I realise that my phone is a bit empty, if you know what i mean.Overall, it's a great phone.and another thing, I got a 512 mb memory card and it works perfectly.it's cool!

I spent alot of time looking around for the right phone and went to many sites like this one to get the info I needed to make the decision. So I'm posting this to give back and let others know what I found out. For those of you who want to skip to the part about stereo audio on the 6670, look toward the end of this review. First off, I've only had the phone for a week now but couldn't be happier. This phone has crashed far less than my PC ever has and it's fast enough considering what I expect it to do. My previous phone was a Sony-Ericsson Z600, a very good phone (especially when I bought it) and extremely reliable. That having been said, getting a Nokia Symbian is like stepping into another universe. The screen is large and colorful and the UI is beautiful to look at. To help you with your choice, I'll list the other phones I looked at during my search along with comments as to why I didn't get them. Motorola V3 - No memory card, no symbian, surprisingly short of features. My Sony from two years ago had the same feature set. This is a fashion phone and not all that cool in retrospect. Motorola Pebl - An incredibly beautiful phone to hold and fondle. Unfortunately, it's lacking in the guts department, crappy camera, no memory card etc. They'll make more of these and when they do, everything will be upgraded, so wait. Motorola A780 - Rather ugly design, good for Chinese input but as a linux device, supporting software is limited. Sony - W800 Great music phone, lacks Symbian. Symbian only matters if you want to install additional software. If you want a music phone with the latest java, etc go with this one, but finish this review because getting the 6670 and the right accessory will save you $200 US. Sony 900 series - Too bulky Nokia 6680,81,82 - Cool, with stereo playback and 256k colors, but ugly design. Aside from stereo MP3 playback and another .3 for camera resolution, no other benefits for the additional $100 US. Nokia 6630 - Ugly Nokia 7610 - Nice in every regard except for no stereo MP3 playback. If you look at the development path of Nokia phones, it makes sense that they wouldn't include stereo in these models. If they had done so, no one would have bought the 6680 or 6630 phones. The extra .3 megapixel or 256k colors just wouldn't justify the cost. The design looked really cool when it first came out but now it's the 6670 that has a classier feel, due it's simplicity. The 1 Megapixel camera isn't state of the art, but neither is a 2Megapixel Sony Ericsson. State of the art is 5+ Megapixel dedicated cameras. 1 Megapixel is quite sufficient for snapshots. Nokia N70 - This phone is the best of the lot, and the most expensive. It's also in a wierd position since it's an evolutionary step from the 7610->6630->6680 but not a revolution. What's worse it that the next phones to come down the line are revolutionary, the N90, N80 for example have large hard drives, wi-fi and 3 megapixel cameras. For these phones, the additional 300-500 US makes sense. Going for the N70 is for the impatient. I was almost one myself because the other phones didn't have stereo or were too ugly. What I really wanted was a good looking Nokia phone with Symbian and stereo. The N70 fits this description, but it seems really stupid to buy one for the extra 200+ US when in two or three months the N80 and N90 will be out. Ideally, I'd get the 6670 and find a way to play stereo audio on it. The phone looks good and is cheaper than the 7610, it has all of the same features plus a few more like quickword and quicksheet. So I went looking for a way to play stereo on my 6670. I found the itech s35 clip. The problem with the 6670 is that the audio hardware is mono, so no matter what you plug into it, it's mono. If you go via bluetooth however, you've got stereo and with good quality. The problem there is that the bluetooth on Nokia 6670 doesn't support audio transmission. I itech s35 clip includes software to handle audio via bluetooth. I bought one, it works a treat. The audio is clear and I keep the headphones attached to my shirt or jacket. There are still wires from the blue tooth reciever to the ear buds but not the kind that will mess with you if you are doing sports, for example. If you want no wires at all the same company makes a completely wireless version for a bit more money. I got the clip because a) It was available b) I can attach any brand headphone to it's standard 3.5 mm plug. c) Walking around with a headset and no wires still looks a bit too 'Star Trek' for my taste. Your call, the important point here is that you can get yourself a sweet Symbian phone that isn't too big or ugly, enjoy stereo playback with a wireless head set and save $200+ while you wait for the N80 to come out. Not only that but you won't have to get the N80 the first day it's released because you'll be pleased with your 6670 and can therefore wait until the N80's bugs are fixed and the price comes down out of the ozone. The headset cost me about $60 US. The difference in cost had I bought the 6680 was about $100, so I saved $40 on the deal. What's cooler though is that I have a bluetooth headset that can handle calls without me looking like 'Scotty'. When I migrate to another phone, I can take the headset with me. That's why, until the N80 and above come out, you should get the 6670.

This is a nice phone finally. I'm using it for near one year, still got no problem. No software bugs if you install recommended and registered miscellaneous softwares. Camera quality is acceptable in its class. Not so heavy (Just around 115g). Fits well in hands. The keypad is a bit disappointing at first, but you'll get used to it. I have no problem typing with it now. I recommend it to all people who want to buy a cheap and countable symbian phone from NOKIA.

This phone i mean 6670 is very very similar to nokia 7610 infact 99 percent same except the shape.I like the shape and color of 6670 but unfortunately it doesnt get the same response as compared to nokia 7610.infact it is cheaper than nokia 7610 i dont understand nokia people just changing the shape they think that they can make people buy the product which is already in the market.Nokia 6670 function are good sound quality is good and camera is also good but screen and color, i still feel the the sonyericsson screen k750 or even lesser model k700 screen is much sharper and clearer than 6670 but the screen size of 6670 is big.and offcourse the big advantage is its symbian os you can easily install software you like.

well, to be very fair ... 6670 doesn't support stereo :) however it give very good sound with the headsets (like Nokia 6610/7210 headset). 6630 gives good stereo with the headset and the equalizer softwares can also be run on it. quality with the loudspeakers in stereo too but not of good quality ... a kind of weired :S

i've tried the stereo headset with 6670 and felt the music really good. i dont' think 6630's is any more better than this. the only difference might be the headsets are being provided in the sales pack with 6630 while with 6670/7610 they aren't! better try by yourself and verify!

MP3 Player has an option where the output will come in bluetooth. i don't think a bluetooth output will use the mono sound circuit of the phone. So if one has a bluetooth stereo headset, one may get stereo output fron the phone. Unfortunately in Bangalore, I have not managed to locate a stereo headset. If anyone has used a stereo headset with the 6670, kindly let me know what model works with the phone, where can I purchase it from and approximate price... thanks

adrianz, no software can turn the hardware configuration. means if the phone originally have mono speakers, it can not give stereo sound however can act like stereo (better) as it is already doing (no external software needed). however if you really mean that, give the name of the software you're using and i'll check it. i've tried a lot of MP3 players but of no use!

just install the software from the CD provided with the handset, plug in the usb cable in your PC and connect your phone with it. click on the mobile icon and simply copy paste the songs in the desired folder.

Shaz: haven't yet tried 500MB however 256MB is working great. no lagging, no hanging etc. overall, symbian OS is great and especially with this phone as it is Nokia and most of the software developers are focusing Nokia as their main customer. this phone is nothing very especial if without external softwares! with them it is unreplacable!!! MP3 sounds are better with the headphone and ok with the loudspeakers ... however acceptable!

great phone? not! worst phone i have ever had or used in ten years. First the buttons: too small, almost impossible to press just one button at a time. Second the speed: it uses fast processor, but i don't know how they killed the speed. Everything takes way too long to happen, e.g. going to address book takes nearly 3 seconds, more with the calendar. ok, display is good :)

Asif, you can find all the opened applications by pressing the menu button long. when the applications will be displayed on your phone screen, select them one by one and close them by "back" and finally "exit" button (softkey). this is a problem or may be style of this symbian operating system that you've to close all the applications manually. for more info, you may email me.

7610 stalls on playing video above 57 seconds but carrys on again after a few seconds then plays for 15 seconds and so on,,,i swapped it for this and they play fine..its just a comment that will help people who play vids get a better decision although ive now got 6680 and its in a different league again with smoother than ever vid and more general colour in the vid and i know its got the 260k colors but its more colorful on general downloaded vid.Not all series 60 are the same & will not accept all apps but generally when i had the 6670 it handled more apps than 7610 and loads more than the 6600.I love all nokia smarphones but have not yet owned or played with the communicater series,maybe my next phone but all will have changed again by then "gauranteed" and 1gb of memory will be laughable and a 260k colour screen

this mobile is only good for those who only use Nokia. who have experience some other one, they won't like it (i think) ... i didn't even find its camera as good as it is said. i've taken few pic at same time, from same position and same places and found my old CX65 (VGA) was better than it. pictures get darker even in normal day light. video is not at all good. it is good only if a person doesn't move (LoL) otherwise it gets blurred. i didn't find much difference between 6600 and 6670 however 6600 ringtones are too low and 6670 can play MP3 (with high volume) as ringtones. Movies work better and more smoothly in 6670 than 6600 because of processor speed. rest is on your luck ... !

See.. even they both take video in QCIF format.. megapixiel video will be much more better. and 6600 does'nt have usb connection.. only use bluetooth or infared to transfer filrs from comp to phone.. please correct me if i am wrong in anyways.. While 6670/7610 has.. and as i have stated 66770 and 7610 is the smae except firmware aand desgin. also the applications given to you in the RS MMC give to you free.. so get the 7610 is the best.. cause i have tried all three models.. 6600's keypad is the nicest to type with.. but as for no usb. ruled out.. second best is the 7610... for me.. very easy to type with... and last.. which is the hardest... nokia 6670... typin with that phone makes you finger pain.. well.. for me.. but it is a different case for left handers. left handers will find typin with the 6670 easier then the right handers. thanks... if you need to know anything.. please e mail me at [email protected]. thanks

i wonder why anyone doesn't mention the worse video quality of this phone. as far as i've observed, its screen seems to be plasma. while running a movie using smartmovie it's hard to focus the video properly because of the same reason. on the other hand, it is almost impossible for another person to watch that movie clip from the side. secondly, video making seems to me a joke. it is more like moving still pictures than making a "VIDEO". i don't think that 6670's videos run with more than 10fps!!! isn't there any external software avaiable for 6670 or 7610 which could improve the frame rate of their movies??? to be very frank, i could not judge any major difference other than little high speed and 1 MP camera between 6600 and 6670/7610. this is my observation and opinion only, so no harsh feelings :)

Yes this phone support 256MB. For those that have enough money or lot of money and need a fashionable phone you can get get 7610 alternatively if you want to save cost and have all the feature in 7610 you can have 6670.Very economical. This phone doesn't support EDGE because it given a way to another model..and now a lot of 3g phone model has been develope by nokia..my future next 3g phone instead of 6670 will be N70.

hey i chose the 6670 instead of the 7610 for many reasons.the display is much better and there is a lot of embedded media applications like (muvee),(video editor) & (photo editor) plus (quick office) that contains 3 office applications.the sound is only a bit better and the last thing is that u can assign the 5 navigation keys as shortcuts in standby mode.

for reaper: i have the 6670 and my brother have the 7610. the tow are similar, personally i perfer the 6670 but the only diferences i know are that they have a diferent keypad and 6670 suport word and outlock to see documents in it, and 7610 is a little slimmer than the 6670. 6670 is busines and 7610 is fashion!you chose! The only phones that require Dual Voltage cards are 3G phones. and there are no current ways to shoot video longer then 10 minutes .for nokia 7610 or 6670...not even 3rd patry applications can help. The phone play what the format of audio files you put in.If you put mp3 songs with 128kbps and 44KHz (standard) then the phone will play it no matter it play mono or stereo.The stereo sound is regarding speaker and you can change the stereo speaker to replace its mono speaker. The sound quality with new stereo speaker it quite loud and very clearyly then mono sound.Yes a phone shop (third party) has this stereo speaker for this N6670 and you can add another speaker and your phone will have 2 loud speaker with stereo sound.Remember old days when you use nokia 8250 all the phone shop can change the default speaker with more loud speaker.

This phone must use RS-DV MMC card for it to operate.That is 128MB MMC MU-2 or 64MB MMC MU-1.The dual voltage is actually 1.8/3.0 V The 6670 needs the dual-voltage (DV) kind (one that supports both ~1.8V and ~3.3V as this phone uses 1.8V, which means that 3.3V-only cards will not work). DualVoltage RS-MMC cards are used here to prolong battery life. For Arsalan 3g phone is third generation type phone means the connection of data transfer (within internet) or wireless is fastest than GPRS and EDGE.For 3g phone is quite easy to know.First the phone must have 2 camera,one is facing our face and the another is for taking picture etc that have megapixels or more.Another one is the phone spec must have UMTS.For k700i please refer to its own spec.This is only for N6670. I am using this fone for about 4 Weeks now. Its really damn cool. But Still No 01. Radio 02. Infrared. 03. Stereo Speaker or Stereo Headsets. But other than that its really great going. I have installed and deleted about 1000 themes. Absolutely no problem. Fone with FExplorer, Smartmovie, UltraMP3 is a great combination. Yes the processor is better then 6600 and N-Gage but same as 7610..see this phone is exactly same as 7610 except its design.By the way the Nokia 3230 also have this speed 123MHz.The Nokia 6680 (3G phone) have quite fast processor that is 220MHz

Dont worry about that picture name.If you use FExplorer and if you save the picture in MMC you will find all your picture in Folder image.Even if you delete all the picture and take a new one it will still show the expanding number by the last you take shot. By the way N6670 processor is ARM9 at 123MHz with Symbian release 7.0s and GUI platform Series 60 Developer Platform ver 2.0. WAP 2.0,XHTML over TCP/IP,HTML over TCP/IP.

Yes you must use RS (Reduced Size) DV (Dual-Voltage) MMC in this phone.But you also can use this RS-DV MMC in other phone that use MMC (old,standard size) just by putting its metal clip so that your RS-DV MMC can have the same size as the previous MMC.By the way this phone have only RS-DV MMC size in it so the standard one cannot fit.Dont worry the RS MMC will become standard size soon for all mobile phone and the different between RS and standard is the RS MMC is high speed then previous MMC. By the way i'm also using my MP3 song as my ringtone.Just use Nokia PC Suite and transfer your MP3 song in your memory card (not phone memory) under Digital folder.And make sure you create your new profile and you can use your MP3 as your ringtone without any disturbance even you install in in your memory card (MMC).

Yup with 512MB of memory you can get what you want.At least free you internal memory so that your phone will become smooth.Always install games with .sis and please becarefull about game with .jar ext.A game with .sis will make your phone operate in good condition and smoothly.By the way the best thing to maintenance your phone is just by install FExplorer in your internal memory.Others you can install in your mmc.This phone so far is great buying.I've already installed 20 themes on it,16 games with .sis (.sis is sometimes bigger then .jar),10 MP3 and lots of midi and guess what i only use 128MB RS-DV MMC and there was a lot more space left.Good bargain.

Yup it is true the price is cheaper than N7610 but with that price you get everything what N7610 offer beside the only its stylish design.Only suitable that concern abt style then they should get N7610 but for me I'm concern about price and features.Come on all the features in N7610 the N6670 have it.Of course i will choose N6670!. By the way the message that can store depending on your MMC i've try it and the storage can store up to 999 message! Superb.

To satish Nokia 6670 and 6600 and 3230 is Series 60 platform means they use Symbian for their O/S. The main different for 6670 and 6600 is their price and of course the Symbian O/S version.For 3230 it have infra-red,camera mega pixel, and radio.Other is same.(See their spec) For 6230i and Sony E K700i i think this is like Nokia Series 40 platform means these phones DO NOT use Symbian O/S. For me of course I will choose a phone with Symbian O/S because its stable.

Yup, you can store up to 1000 msg if you use your mmc.by the way for me I just delete old msg because it is useless to safe old or junk message in your phone.How about install sms/mms manager that can delete automatically if the msg reach the setting limit. For me if you are mp3 enthusiast you need a lot of memory i.e 512MB but for hardcore gamers that need a lot of java or .sis games 128MB is enough.Well a lot memory means your phone take times to read.But its ok abt that and just install all the application,games,mp3 in your MMC and not your internal memory.Just leave your internal memory clean without installing on it.You will get almost 8MB there.More then enough.

Well it depend on your mmc or internal memory but i think you can set how many message i.e 20 or more message in your phone setting for save message. This is worth buying..Guess what the latest Nokia PC Suite is very compatible with Windows 2k Pro SP 4..very smooth... Tips: To delete Theme you can just select delete or press c button in Theme icon itself.Theme that installed will not appear in Application Manager.Only application i.e .sis or .jar can be uninstall (remove) from Application Manager.

I bought this phone for almost 7 month and it was really great.With all the support theme your phone will become more than meets the eye.The speaker is quite good,loud and clear because it depends on your ringing tone channel.The problem is about several JAVA games.Sometimes this phone will freeze but if we play Symbian games i.e .sis the game will smoothly run.Btw this is a good phone.Only lack on battery life (if we play games too long) but if not it will stand for almost 3 days without switch off and on standby mode.I think i want to buy Nokia N70 for my next phone.The keypad is smooth and fast in typing sms or message.Good work for this phone.Nokia 6670 is series 60 and from time to time Nokia is developing a phone for business and that is only 66xx series.For those who get this phone is worth buying because your phone class is what Nokia is develope now.

the main thing that makes 6670 better than 3230 is 64 mb built in memory card where as 3230 offers only 32 mb of built in memery card. it has a good sahpe and built in features too.

I have been using this phone for three months. It is a great phone. I have installed mp3 player version 2.17 by vikings and sound output is awsome when i play mp3 file it says it is stereo , i want to know expert opinion about it is that stereo or not?. Overall, 6670 is a good mobile phone. I'm having it for 1 month and had no problem with it at all. The most important cons about this phone are as follows: 1 - The keyboard is not so comfy for typing. So, you have to get used to it. 2 - The microphone's quality for recording voice of video is not that good. Most of the time you have trouble understanding what people said during watching the video or hearing the voice file. 3 - The red key is harder than the green button when you press it!!! I tested some other 6670s and they all had the same problem. 4 - Lens cover is not changable, so you always have to watch out for it to not get scratched. 5 - The audio output for ringing tones is rather week, specially when you assign MP3 files as a ringing tone. You may use the vibrating alert for not having missed calls. 6 - The on/off button is very hard to press. I prefer not to turn off my phone sometimes! But anyway, I like my phone and prefer it to any other phone. If you don't like the shape of it, go for 7610. It's a bit more expensive, but it has a better style. Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Siemens & other brands suck! Just go for Nokia. You won't be disappointed.

Ahmed. All you need to do is use your USB cable and transfer your MP3 files to your phone using the Nokia PC Suite program. Jordan. I don't know if you can have your messages automatically go to the memory card. Your immediate option to my knowledge which also may be to yours is to mark the files and move them into a folder allocated on your memory card. This is a great phone with Symbian OS. Can play MP3 as well only its sound quite slow.So when we talk about Symbian that means we can install whatever application we want in that phone and the application must be Symbian platform or Java.It was a great phone althought the standard package doesnt have much but who cares when we can install new aplication according to what we desire right? My phone with MMC 128 MB still not full with application even I install 20 MP3 plus 31 other Symbian application on that phone. Great features, I've installed BlackBaller on this phone and it works fine. This application can block all calls and SMS in your blacklist directory and even private number this program can block.Futhermore you can also install AutoLock keypad so that the keypad will automatic lock by your time setting in second.So that is why Nokia dont put everything including Autolock keypad because they know we will install the application what we want later.By the way the JAVA games also a good like console.I've install Splinter Cell,V-Rally,Colin McRae 2004 Rally,Pacman,Doom etc. and it just work fine. You know sometimes this phone is similar like N-Gage QD because what N-Gage can install, this phone can install too.Cool.

I bought this phone yesterday and I am definately impress. A few cons though: 5 way nav button is awkward and I've got tiny fingers. Also I'm not too technical and I've had to phone the helpdesk at least twice to figure out the basics for bluetooth and info copying. Great variety of themes and ringtones available to download which helps you to not get bored after a while. From RSA and minimum retail price is ZAR3000. Thats about $452. A bit pricy down here, but well worth it!

Well, just bought it, wonderful phone actually, i know it's cons beforehand that is: 1. It doesn't contain an infradred port. 2. Mp3 quality is not very good, but acceptable. 3. No FM Radio, and there is no software for it, it's a hardware anyway, may be via GPRS or internet, and the FM Radio handsfree doesn't work on it. But really the pros. are: 1. Great screen, size and colors. 2. Great camera Actually. 3. Excellent size, although it looks big, but really it isn't. 3. Great shape, classic and stylish, This depends anyway, but i like this style. 4. The Quick word, Excel, powerpoint actually disappointed me a little, it takes time to load and the view is not clear enough, but it's not a computer anyway. 5. Battery is very Good. The keypad, Not very comfortable, but Not very bad as well. 6. The flexibility in the memory is great feature, it was one of my assets in purchasing a phone. 7. The pc suite software let me move all my contacts and calender from the previous phone Nokia 6610i, but i couldn't move the messages, i think because this is Symbian, and the other is Nokia software, I think i'll go for another software for this issue I'm from Egypt and it costs here about 415 US $, but i got it from UAE with about 325 US $. i hafta say that i like the 6670 better than the 3230. ive tried both before n the 3230's keys feel harder to press than the 6670 - i almost look forward to typin sms on the 6670 cos the keypad feels so nice. i think it will because the memory card will run with the same voltage as RS-MMC single voltage.... Dual Voltage (DV) means it can run in two diferent voltages, so there is no problem at all.

i installed media safe on my 6670 but i forgot the password. so i uninstalled it. and then installed a new file but it again brings up the enter password screen. its not asking me for a new password. was the infomation not deleted by uninstall?? please help

Just bought this phone and found it simply great. It supports almost all nokia software and it is cheaper as well. It also supports mp3 and the sound is also brilliant. It has 1.3 mega pixel of camera and pictures that are taken from this smartphone are really exellent specially the pictures that are taken from its night mode. This phone also offers 4x digital zoom. ok just got this phone, seems a little slow, secondly it takes about 30seconds to turn on. how ever it has good functionality and the camera it really good, but it's a little wide and the keys are to clost togeather, i keep pressing other keys because of their placement, also, the keys down the side are to small and kind of hard to press, but over all apart from the key pad a very good smart phone, i think i'd go for a 6260 or 6020 because the key pad layout is better

u can use mp3s as ringtones for the question about the 6670 bein slow...personally i dont find it very slow unless u just switched on ur fone in which case its slow for about the first time u try n open the menu n also goin thru the pics in ur gallery while the pics are at full screen but this is because the size of the pics are so big - size can range from 150kb to 450kb at full resolution

about the nokia covers - its a bit hard to see if a cover is genuine until u look at it and try it on. it has to be a good fit and identical and stuff with the nokia sign and the keypad feels the same as the original. also, i think nokia only makes the silver and dark blue colors for the 6670 so any other cover is fake

Nokia 6670 is a pathetic phone. I just brought it use it for some time and i am back to 7650. Some of the drawbacks are 1)If it is a usb mobile why there is a need to install (the hard to install driver).Well ok fine you must be thinking that i only need to do once but i brought it to transfer data among computers. 2)why there are so many fixed software. Well I prefer atleast the following software -builtin chat over WirelessIRC -real player over ultramp3 and so on. So i have a conflicting software why they are limiting us to use the builtin??? 3)No infrared ,No Pointer, Expensive , Slow and yes the bottom line is no backward software compatibility and software of nokia 7650 does not work in it thats a real trouble i want to getrid of it right now please ... what nokia did is nothing in 3 years they dont have any thing new and yes one must better get palmtop then this new expensive 6670 thanks and i like comments

hi, today i bought this fantastic phone. very nice design.. was in a dilemma whether to go for 3230 or 6670..finally picked up 6670.. very nice symbian phone..interface is quite faster than 3230. as an advantage of symbian OS, u can install several applications, viz fullscreen caller, torch, Full Zoom, Screensavers etc..to surpass the limitations of the preinstalled softwares. mp3/amr sounds good. camera quality also good (1 megapixel)particularly pictures taken in night mode is really superb..video is bit sloggy but in this cost range, it is reasonable. 64mb card is enough to store more than 10 mp3 songs. music player is really loud. (not like 3230) in total i will say 8 out 10. buy it and enjoy..

Monica, The main advantage of the 6670 over the 7610 is that the 6670 is a smart phone, that is it can open the PDF files, as well as the Microsoft Office files like *.doc, *.xls, and *.ppt (presentations), In my opinion the 6670 is a better shape than the 7610..I'm going to buy one soon insha ALLAH.

compare both phones at this site. dont kno what mp4 does. but 6670 got more features than 7610. u can even look at the nokia site. the difference is very little. but since 6670 was released after 7610 so they have improved it a little, feature-wise.

u need to install ur nokia pc suite onto ur computer along with all the drivers and stuff for the data cable or wateva connection thing u hav. then connect ur fone to pc and open up nokia pc suite. Under the 'general' section u should see an icon that says install applications. Click this and find wherever u saved the autolock program and highlight it then press the little green arrow and it should install. The rest of the installation is done on the fone and now after all the prompts, the program should pop up in the phone menu down the very bottom hope this helps

I'v been using symbian phones since the 7650 and I'm pretty accustomed to them,probably why the 6670 is so easy for me to use. a few comments : 1> clipboard is exactly the same feature as a pc clipboard, to copy or paste text hold in the 'pencil' key and select the text; to paste again just hold down the key and select paste. 2> It is impossiible to equip this phone with radio by installing a program as it runs deeper than just a software issue. 3> Yes mp3 player is crappy, but this is the BUSINESS class of phones as stated by nokia, if you want good mp3 quality and stylish looks then get the 7610, which was designed to be stylin. 4> I rate the image editing software highly..briliant! 5> One drawback i found is that the phone doesn't double up as a card reader..im planning on getting a 512mb card - imagine copying over bluetooth or the(slow for usb2) cable!! aargh. now must definitely buy an extra card reader. 6> looks are a matter of opinion, but because i got the silver version of the cover, i love it and iv never received a comment about it being ugly. as soon as the girls see the quality of video it can play, the looks just dont matter anymore!! jus kiddin :) 7> Don't let the keypad deceive you! this is actually awesome: i dont know how it works..i always seem to hit the key i want and my thumbs aren't small.i prefer it to the 7610 keyboard because of its simplicity. thats it for me now, sorry for long review but at least its written 'imho' and might help some out there. cheers.

The obv question that pops up is which is the better buy, considering that i just want to have average to good quality mp3 output, ease of sharing with my friends via bluetooth, and messagin has to be fast!plus other things like having mp3's as ringtones, which someone said is not possible in 3230 unless the mp3 is on the phone memory. tat sucks cuz the phone memory is already quite small!

u CAN autolock your fone but u need to download the program- i found two websites, the first one is you hav to pay 5euros but u get a few more features than the second download which is for free. ive only tried the second website as i didnt want to pay the 5euros but i can guarentee that it works well and completely in the background so it doesnt popup on the screen that shows the applications that are currently running

i just got the nokia 6670 a month ago overall the fone is very good and im very satisfied with it. Not sure why the price is dropping so fast as this fone is so good- Good: Camera is good but doesnt handle well in areas that arent very well lit. About normal for a 1mp fone. Durable, good quality and easy to use. Lovin the movie director application. The adobe photoshop album starter 2.0 that comes with the cd is really good at sharpening the pictures and makin them look better Bad: mp3 player!!! yes this fone has crappy loudspeaker and is only monophonic. The mp3 quality improves a bit if u dl ultra mp3 onto your fone. The keys are a little hard to press but i got used to them after about a week. The red key on the right side of the keypad is strangely harder to press than the other keys but this is how the fone was built. Battery for me lasts about 2-3 days max but im a pretty heavy user. In the end im glad that i bought this fone. Worth the price!!! Hope nethin i sed helps some1

Good phone , similar a PC , i check my e-mails , i see and i change also documents like word, excel , powerpoint , pdf , good photos for a phone, good screen, battery for 5 days (not 24 hours ). Good reception , sound clear , rings very loud if we need. Is similar to have a little computer in your pocket, of course with limitations but very good for a phone. The only good thing about it is that it has a redio and both IR and BT but no use.Its a complete waste of money. I Have bought the phone for 420 Euro, that is allot of money. I realy like the Nokia 6670. The keypad is easy to use and good. The software is great and the phone has a nice shape. There is no irDA on this phone, but there is bluetooh. The pictures wich you can make with this phone are great, so are the 10 minutes video's. I always had SonyEricsson phone lately, but this is a great Nokia phone. I have only 1 question. The hangup button (button with the red line) is hard to press. The take-up button is easy to press. Is this correct? I called Nokia and they said it was also on there testing model.

TASKSPY another highly recommended is "Taskspy"...you can monitor All your hidden applications that is runnning behind the background of your phone...can close off unwanted hidden running applications....compress your memory space....and it monitor your cpu usage in percentage... Facewave another truly hilarous fun....you do the talking....and the cartoon faces or real picture image will do the movement of your facial expression...u can send it over to your friends phone by using mms....facewave add on is FS snap(face store snap) you can take any face image you see from the real world and upload into Facewave... lastly, there have a "compass" software too.....favour together with "celltrack2" software... I use Nokia 6670 for 2 months, I think is is very good for me, the picture is very clear after develop photographic film. The video is 10 minutes was very nice. MP3 is also wonderful. But it was regretable to not use FM. If you do not want to bring your big camera, you must use Nokia 6670 as mine.

Well I just got this mobile today. I was confused between Nokia 6600 and this one. I sort of took a risk as when I saw its pic I was very worried whether the keypad would be good enough for writing sms or not. Guys trust me the keypad is excellent. I mean the keys no doubt look small but when u write its really comfortable and fast to use. The operating system is really fast and this one is far more better than 6600 is every aspect. I'm still exploring it but till now I'm quite impressed by the phone and its picture quality and I think u should really go for it and yes its a lot better than 7610!

to sidesez,,you seem to be going towards mp3 in your statement,in that case the e398 is good and has exellent speakers+ also benefits from a good battery life and has memory boost via a transflash card.the se k700 only has 41 mb which is not many mp3"s and the 6670 is mono. So that is my input but the e398 DOES NOT record video but has an mpeg4 player in it.they are all 176 x208 65k screens.

RE: 6670 or 7610 Does any of these or both can act as answering machines? i.e. when I don't want to answer them, incoming calls are answered by a greeting message then the caller would leave a voice message to be stored in the phone. Been Trashing this 6670 baby for three weeks now....so far so good...keypad still soft and punchy....battery still can last up few days...memory good too...unless you fully use up all your 99% of memory space for the applications and other stuff, then you will notice some slight lagging. coz i still think this 6670 work like a pc, need some room or space to do memory swaps. best is left back 10% of unuse space in the MMc. tips, don't download all the stuff in the phone share memory. coz it need to process the running applications and other stuff. haven't come across any bugs in this phone...except some of the downloadable softwares which might work or not. even without the MMc card inside, this smartphone still can work and extra fast too. typing sms is alot faster then my older handphones.

To gerard, Talking about Rs-MMc:- 6670 rs-MMc is using 3.0 Volts.... 6630 rs-MMc is using 1.8 Volts.... 6630 cannot use 6670 MMc....coz 6630 the max it can read is 1.8v MMc.(power saving) 6670 is a dual MMc reader...so it can use both 1.8v and 3.0v MMc.

This is not a handphone. More Like a mini handheld computer to me. It can do web browsing using netfront browser, excel, pdf, wordpads, notepads, multiple emails, make calls, fax, etc. It even can chat online using msn messenger, icq, yahoo messenger and Aol. I m truly impress by this 6670. I was even more surprise that it has more then 2000 over of symbian software you can upload into this Baby. this 6670 truly has unlimited funs, not just within yourself but with your friends too. I try the disco software and my granny start dancing.hahaha! another recommendation is the imagespy, can actually work like motion detector that capture any moving object and auto send out the capture picture as a MMS format to your another handphone that support MMS. I have no regrets getting this smartphone.:)

This phone is an excellent phone. Compared to Nokia 7610, there is no big difference. Nokia 6670 is a stylish designed phone whereas Nokia 6670 is designed for more functions. However i am still confused whether Nokia 6670 support 256mb RS-MMC card or not! This also is also good because it supports quickoffice such as Microsoft Word,powerpoint and excel. hello ,video is recorded in 3gp format because that is wat is used in video mms messaging.it can supposedly however playback other formats that are mentioned on nokia manual downloads for the model on there site.it says mpeg4 ,,.mp4 and real video and other weird typical nokiaformats.my 3G fone downloads in mp4 and i transfer via bluetooth clips to be watched on my p900 and spvc500 and all work great but nokia states that although these formats are on nokia fones the device may not be able to play them or may open them up and play sound only.I am getting this fone but dont know whether my .mp4 clips will play and have no way of finding out till i buy one.

I agree i like the look of the more trendier 7610 but this fone has more going on under the hood and better battery life.The loading loading loading type thing has happened to me on different networks & various phones& could be ,,no money on phone,,no connection other end due to maintenance,,as said before cache or your memory full so phone just sits there unable to do anything ,,or you got a bad phone so telling it off could help,but dont throw it against solid object,it wont do anything then.These phones do so much i always hope people use them to their full potential,,i say that cause my mates just talk, txt and take a photo which they never print out.You can find were you are,search google,get weather send email and so on down the list but there are no programmes on what these things are capable of. it would be a very BIG eyeopener to 90% of population that never new what the smarphone in there hands was capable of.Even gadget show is very very vague on subject.get mine to morrow""yippee do"" or something like that..

I bought a 6670 more than 3 months, i feel not so bad. just can say mp3 sound worse and keypad too small that menu button! 512mb rs-mmc card just give phone faster a bit! otherwise still ok for me that phone! Gd day hl.. You want to know whether 7610 function better or 6670??? Actually it's the same. The only different is the keypad lay out and body design. In terms of the function, all the same. It's just that the 6670 have more software downloaded by nokia. But 7610 also can download what 6670 have. It's up to you....your choice. Some of the user, prefer the 7610 looks but some prefer the 6670 for the easy sms use.

For those who tried 6670, will agree with me that the MENU button is too small. What u mentioned on those software, antivirus, pdf, etc... it doesn't matter, after all, these are symbian 60s software which u can get easily.

hi 6670 is a good fone. for all of u who are doubtful let me clear this up for u . the 6670 has a better browser (plus pdf support) , and anti virus, normal keypad ,better talk time and bigger screen than 7610 (a lil bigger though but still bigger) . so if u want a better phone than the 7610 but u think the 6630s body is stupid then get the 6670 , otherwise if u like 7610 go for 7610 ( if u want a stylish phone go for samsung d410 or e720 )

nokia let down by useless formats same dated technology ,,still no alarmed calender,bad music players,this fone is the same technology as the 7650.ive takenback every nokia because of silly 3gp video wav audio 10 second or 10 minute video,no alarmed to do list.they are old hat to say they sell loads and that succession of 128x128 pixel 4096 display never seem to end they chuked out model after model because they bulk bought the lot off seiko and there doin it again with this176x208 65k diplay till they run out.i go for other makes,not that i want to,but nokia are churning out dated formats of the same old thing

PS It was easy on my old 2100. There was a 'copy all' command. I thought the 6630 would be more advanced but that doesn't seem to be the case with copying phone book from sim to phone memory becuase there isn't a 'copy all' command with it !

after testing out 7610 and 6670, i decide to go for 7610. 7610 keypad is hard and easy to press. 6670 keypad is too soft, "hard" to press and you need to put a lot of strength to press it.

just bought the nokia 6670 and it's a quite decent model.slightly different to the 7610(it may not be as flashy)but it's good as well.it's really confusing the way nokia is flooding the market with their handssts whose prices decline by the day.as expected they'll release 40 or 50 new models in 2005.i'll just wait out that period for now coz i'm happy with the simple distinctive features of the 6670.it's a nicely understated phone.

about this phone..... not really much diffrence from the nokia 7610 in style...but it is okay if you're are going for the business look coz it looks like a book put together back 2 back...smart..FYI keypad in 7610 is ugly...this is much better...A lot of funtions also..not really recomended but it can be worth it...ringtones sounds are not that good though if u r always in a noisy place.

7250 is better than 6670 because more slim and have fm radio. Dun have to carry a dumbel and a box all the time. both also 2G fon. the screen of 6670 not even a megapixel.. somemore the memory card is below the battery, and tis mean the memory card will be heated by the battery . & may coz the memory card not last long. smtimes it also will make the loading slow & hang kei.

I own a 6670 and im not overly impressed. my MMC card reader will not even recognise the memory card, so i have to copy it to the phone memory first and then to the Memory card. UUuum yeah that sux!!

To 6670 owners: anyone knows why sometimes when you talk over the phone, sometimes it gets so soft that you can't hear the person talking and then all in a sudden it gets louder again? I bought this phone for my bf and already it has some problems. Overall, the camera and functions are ok...........just that I find the new nokia interface design alittle confusing

HOpe can get some advice = narrowed down to 2 but Not sure if i want to buy 6670 or 7610. 6670 is RM200 cheaper. does either of these come with flash for the camera> if not, does it mean the optional flash is one of those ugly add ons that protrudes? Aslo, 6670 can view pdf, can 7610 do that too? and, since it's not stereo speaker (like what some of the posts says) does it mean i have to use the loudspeaker to hear mp3? i use loudspeaker function all the time, this one's good or not? can i set photo id to incoming calls? any idea how many? thanks a bunch

It's a great phone. Has all the bells and whistles. I mean, it does practically everything you need it to do. I am not particularly happy with the layout of the keypad of the phone. I have had it about a month now and STILL cannot get used to it. If you have large fingers, stay away from this one. I am a average sized woman with averaged sized womanly hands and I find the keys very hard to press at times. Especially the * key. Practically impossible at times. I don't know why they made it so small and hard to depress. The phone is also a bit heavy, but I guess b/c it is carrying around all those brains. ("smart phone") The memory is sufficient, the pictures are awesome, the bluetooth capability is great! It's just plain hard to use in your hand, that is all. I would recommend getting a phone with a larger keypad.

bought this model from Singapore Singtel shop. the fone has software bugs during receiving of sms and incoming calls.they said i was the 1st to discover this bug for them!nokia is coming up wif a software to correct this bug in a few months time...they told me to wait for the software to be ready and upload for me..crazy idea.i already threw the fone at nokia and let them explain to me!

Hello everybody, I am a proud new owner of Nokia 6670 and feel its really a SMART phone. However i have a problem with its battery. inspite of very mimimal use (say not more than 1-2 calls a day each lasting say a minute, 4-5 snaps a day and normal surfing on the phone for say 10-15 minutes every day), my battery lasts not even for 48 hours(between 24-36 hours). I dont think this is normal as everywhere I have read it requires charging every 3-4 days with moderately heavy use. I have even changed the battery after conmplaining about this to my dealer. Any feedbacks on this would be more useful as I suspect maybe the phone(firmware or whatever) itself has a problem. Thanks in advance, Nouveau

I have been considering between 6670 and 6630. Of course, 6630 is a lot better in terms of features... but I am most concern about bugs in handphone... seems to be there are a lot of bugs in Nokia 6630 and not so much in Nokia 6670 as what people here commented.

i am stuck, 6630 or 6670. the 6630 has 3G, it is basically an operating system like windows but it is for a fone. i has an easy move mmc card slot at the side. 5 minutes longer video recording. faster modem connection called EDGE (GPRS). and it has UMTS, this is a type of gsm network in some parts of the world. lets face it the new BT connection and cable connection you dont need an easy removable mmc card, what is the point. and you gotta be kinda sad to take a full 35 mins of video recording on a phone, mmmmm........ it is called a video camera, NOKIA you dumbshits

Nokia has not introduced a top of the range mobile which i expected. 1 there is no FM radio 2 no built in light(flash) 2 the video quality recording is not perfect why it is not similaer to video cam quality 3 why dont you look for a joint venture with other partener to become like sony errcson the key pad is not flexible 5 The phone stucks alot (and slow when changing from function to another) 6 when roating a photo yuo cant save it I wish you all the best I am Aregular Nokia custemer pls keep me so best regards

Hi 'Van' I didn't change the video-format before making a video. So the video-format was indeed video/H263-2000. I donno if I've got an other software version, because I live in Holland. But think not. Would be stupid..You can check your firmware by pressing: *#0000# I got V 4.0437.4 from 15-09-2004 RH-67 So it could be different firmware.

Hi "just me", those video taken with my recorder was stated as 3GP viewed the details of the clip. What about those video u took with the built in video? was it in the Video format as u were talking about? Did you change the setting for video before u took the video for it to be in the video H263/2000? Just unsatisfied with nokia's setting which include the video taken to be in some "foreign" format to the available software in the phone.

Keypad design better than 7610, I think 6670 is 'man' version of 7610. MP3 ringtone still 'mono' to me. Nokia still lie with the 'megapixels', if you pay attention bout the photo pixels result of 7610&6670.. both max size picture result each is less than a mega pixel!! The flash is optional!! not built in!! So over all, 6670 = 7610 with tuxedo Waiting for 6630 with 1,3MP cam (dunno true 1,3MP or another lie) and 3G? I dont think so... the 6630 design is suck Round & bigger at bottom like fat lady? bad..real bad.. Change the model before you release 6630 NOKIA!! Hi 'Van' I played my video in realplayer in normal format. In details it says, format: video/H263-2000. Donno if it's 3gp then.. It's true that your phone is being formatted when they do a software update. You could try to make a back-up from your phone with pc-suite. I don't really know if you can download a new realplayer. You probably have to look for a realplayer.sis file to install.

Nokia 6670 catches my eyes when i first saw it on the net. i love its keypad layout and the whole features of it. some may choose 7610 for its "sophisticated" keypad layout, but personally i found it rather confusing ... pictures taken with the camera are good, quite clear. but the video viewing is a down side, it appeared rather patchy. the mp3 ringtone sounds great too. and in my view, it depends on the source of the mp3. i was glad i chose this phone among all others around the price range.

Cause what the shop's people told me is that they want to reformat my handphone ... honestly, i don't really like the idea of formating. currently, i have 2 video software in my 6670. Hi Van, I tested my realplayer with a self made video. It works perfect, donno what's wrong with yours. Do you save your video's at memory card? Maybe you can install new software package at your nokia service point or download it from the inet.

Hi, got my 6670 for 2 weeks now. I work in a mobile phone shop and have to say: this phone kicks ass. There are almost no other brands that make phones with performances like nokia. The design is ok, with these features you need a big screen and it's weight is ok. Also got features like GPS with tomtom or route 66, that also kicks ass! You may say samsung has a better design,but it's features suck. No bluetooth, no memory card slot etc. So Nokia is still my nr. 1 in mobile phones. There is also a lot of software to get from the inet for (this) nokia.

Hi, got a question, my Real Player which come in the nokia6670 can not play my video taken with the handphone. The videos taken are in 3GP format, was wondering what's wrong with the Real Player? which comes together in the phone that shouldn't be giving troubles that can't play the video taken by the phone itself. Is there any settings which i should set? temporarrily i got myself a software called PVplayer (packet video), it could play all the video files. But I would really like to know how to get the Real Player back to function. Please share your opinions and solutions. Thanks

P910 looks big and bulky . of course the features must be good . hmmm the nokia 6630 is a steero one ? confirmed ? if confirm , i am aimming this phone. when will it be coming out anybody knows ? will 512 rs mmc slow down the processing speed of the phone ? i called nokia care and they said they tested with 128 mb and the phone can process to the fastest but they did not tested with a higher mb mmc .. and all nokia symbian phone don't have a function to set a reminder to remind us of what we need to do like nokia 6230 . the to-do list we can't set the alarm we can only set the due date . this is not good

The 6670 is a lovely phone aimed specifically at the business market. Its much the same as the 7610, albeit with a slightly enhanced OS and a less groovy design. The 7610 is for kids, the 6670 is for adults! Both great phones though. My 6670 is silver with added 512mb RS-MMC card, and is pretty much the best phone I've ever had.

damn it . today i use my 6230 steero ear piece to try on this 6670 . it can only be heard 1 side . another side cannot be heard . i think this phone is most probably mono want .. fuck . they design mono but support mp3 . when we want to listen mp3 . listen 1 side ? nokia out of their mind .

i got my 6670 today . damn idiot . the design is fucktup want lei .. the * at the corner damn fucking hard to press . when sms-ing for guys very hard . i think they should make a little bit more bigger lar the button . overall performance is good . functions good no problem . mp3 loud but i am not sure steero or mono .. the picture quality is about about same with 7610 but it's added with more software then 7610 and this can support external flash whereas 7610 can't so , overrall i will try to get used to this stupid corner * . just this problem for me .. advise for you all *cheers*

Each phone got its own strength & weakness, I knew sonyericsson is quite a good phone but just can't get used to it due to not user friendly...Don't mention about other brand even worst off.
