Nokia phones are solid even the simple phones ( solid build, good battery & loudspeaker) but it'll be great if Nokia always add more apps to the new phone such as bluetooh, mp3, mp4, voice aid & recording, memory card, camera and WAP Browser). We know that more applications , Nokia will increase price too but please not too much. Sorry we don't want to say like this but it according the market at moment.

This phone is so cute. .The casing is shiny. .Its easy to use, gprs works great. .Gsm arena is wr0ng. .It only had 15mb mem0ry and not 32mb. Lol. If only it had bluetooth that would be really fantastic!

Had this phone for over 2 years. Great phone! extremely long battery life, I'm still using the original battery, it holds up to 5 days sometimes. It's simple, and reliable. It looks hi-tech, but it isn't in its features, and that's the best part :)

The phone is worth for everything it has. It works with no problem and the battery has a very long life - 3h for speaking and aproximately 3 days in standby. It looks just great and it's easy to be used. Let's say it shows that it is a Nokia.

I battle to connect to internet with my nokia 7270 as it keeps telling me no modem is established and no phone connected, althought the phone is connected thru a USB cable 53 and the system does have a modem, yet I have connected before on my 7270. one bad thing is that the first time i bought dis phone the camera was great and after months dirt gets in the lense of the camera... but im not sure if it happens on other nokia 7270 users

dis phone is great... but d only problem is that the screen turns into white when u open the fold, but it dosent turn off by itself which is good. the good part is that u can put MP3 song in there by NOKIA SUITE or USB. i got it from my brother who bought a N70 which has USB in it so i tried it and put pictures and song by dragging and dropping in the folder and it worked!!! but im not sure if u need NOKIA SUITE (i hvnt tried it yet) it only has 15MB so about 2 song and pictures.... one tip to lessen the size of ur picture is to open it in PAINT and stretch and skew it to about 35% ( i used 10% bec i hv 3 song in my phone which uses lots a space) use 35% for bigger pictures for smaller ones with small size just drag and drop it normally Good Luck and Have Fun with ur Phone GOD BLESS :D

For me, this phone has been more than reliable and has never let me down in any way at all. Only problem I have with it is, it's too easy to scratch so I basically put it in an ipod sock to keep it safe. =)

By this time, the phone is quite cheap for it's features. I had decisions downgrading to this phone because I saw how the features are very neat especially with the interface and design. Currently I have the Nokia 6131. In terms of features, it sure beats the 7270. One advantage of the 7270 over the 6131 is the font size of the characters.

had this phone for a year then changed to a used nokia 7280... i must say i had no problem with thee phone... can access net n got a lo of memory for a fashion phone... but now my father is using it... the only letdown is the lack of bluetooth... other than that... nothing... its a phone to get u noticed everywhere u go...

i got it about a month ago and was really reaaly dissappointed co it has the capacity for mp3 files but it lacks the memory so you cannot enjoy that feature. the back case is already loose one month after and its already giving keypad problems. the phone is too fragi and isnt worth the cost. spend that money om another brand like sony erickson instead

Got it 1 month ago. What a disapointment, this is my 3rd Nokia, but this one has worst engineering out of all 3. Sure it has all wonderful Nokia menus, and it operates fast. But... Clumshell is a mess, mobile's body both looks and feel cheap, where did they find this plastic? The hinge's even worse. Lourspeaker... oh, why do they call it a LOUDspeaker at all, how about renaming it to a PlainSpeaker? What can I say, it's not a waste of money, but I'd expect a lot more from Nokia, I certainly hope that at least they didn't loose the "Nokia Reliability". Summary: Pros: Menus, quick operation, weight, size, main display, comfy keypad. Cons: Loudspeaker, clumshell engineering, volume/on-off button etc, reception, back cover and more. Conclusion: You can get much better for the same amount of $ from a different vendor.

Well, this phone is alright but not as good as it looks. after it fell down once, its back cover cannot fit tightly but has been remaining loose since then. When I see the photos on my PC, the photos taken by it usually looks like as if the lens has dust inside. It can play MP3, but has so less memory and no extra memory slot. It doesn;t have the needs of present generation. When I first went through this phone I felt like as if this phone was too greedy. The ifrared also functions at a long delay usually.

This fun totally sucks. Other than the fact that it looks cool I absolutely hate it. My husband bought this phone for me for a Christmas gift. I've had it for 5 months now and I can't get online and I can't download anything. I can't figure out how to get it to let me do this. Nobody I take it to seems to know what to do with it. The reception totally sucks. I lose signal in the oddest places. I went out of town one weekend and had no signal the whole time I was gone. In my opinion...horrible horrible phone!!!

GOT this phone the first day it came out in asia(china) paid near USD $520.00 for my wife as a gift....( she just liked the look of the phone, never really care about other features,bluetooth.etc. the only thing thats great about this phone is that it respone super fast, like text message,.operating through the menu, etc like the nokia 6230, 6170.. After exactly a year,(3 days over a year) nokia will not repair the phone, both volume keys stopped working and no reception. sold it for about $80.00 and bought a sony ericsson 550C, this phone feels very solid, lots of features,bluetooth,infeRed,radio, VERY loud speaker. but respones slower then the nokia 7270.

the phone looks pretty good. after 3months of usage the back begins to slack and the menu button went dead on me, and thats the life of the 7270! most operations centralise around the menu button.

i've had this phone for a couple of months now. i don't really like it. i miss bluetooth. the pictures are not as nice as some of the other phones out there and the video quality is lacking. one thing though: it is a pretty phone. good lucky trying to find the covers. i think the only place you can get it is ebay.

Well probably people think it sucks just because it doesn't have the bluetooth feature.Well they may be right cause most of the 3g or non 3g phone has at least a bluetooth feature even the smallest most fashionable compact sized nokia 7280 has both.Can you imagine that?So i probably gotta say it sucks because the fact that it does not have the bluetooth feature which is a disadvantage.So my rating is design:8,Features:6 and performance i can't grade it cause i dun have the phone -.-

I had to go to New York to get this phone but it is a great phone. The best feature about this phone is the sound quality of the ring tones. That impressed me the most. I am planning to purchase the cable so I can download, edit and cut music from my library on my PC and throw it on to this 7270.

I just bought this phone a week ago~~~ it looks so damn awesome. Even though the phone features are ranked so so, it's more than enough for a normal cell user. It does not have blue tooth, but so what? I use infrared to transfer pictures and ring tones from my computer to this phone, so easy to use and fast too! The signal quality and sound quality are extremely good, much more clear than the some of the phones (sony eric.) I've had before, even through long distance phone calls.

hey hey nat. u can either have a usb cable or a IRDA usb. u dont need both. i just use the usb cable to transfer my pics and ringtones (mp3 songs) from the computer to mobile and vice versa. when u get the cable, goto nokia.com and download the software. =]

Just came across this website.. read a few negative comments. come on this one cool phone. It is stylish and easy to navig. The only bad thing is probably the lack of memory card slot which most ppl wont need it. It plays mp3 and also as ringtone too as clear as possible. It is freaking loud too. Damn it is even better than my alarm clock. The camera is taking good shots too. I rather use my cellp instead of bringing my digicam. The look of this camera is just awesome. The best in the current market in terms of appearance. Those who say this is bad phone. OMG u probably argue this is too little functions. Come on go buy urself an PDA instead or a 9000series nokia. First about video lenght, it depend about software version, because I am able to record more than 10 min. I have no idea why if isn't version of softw. About Nero- I use Nero 6 Ultra edition. So, first u'll have to open Nero- wave editor (green icon), than u have to go to "open" (up-left corner), mark mp3 song and klik "open". Than, u'll have to choose a part of mp3, "bold" it with mouse and than u have to cut it, ....so, u have to delet everything except a part u want. Do that with scissors!(cut) After that, klik on save as, name it. Than u have to go to convertor ( any...it is important that it is able to convert to mp3- u can go to yahoo or google and search for fair studio editor or cheetah or any else). When u convert it...go to nokia suit, choose "file trasfer" and trnsfer it. U can connect 7270 with pc over the irda if u have it or over dku-2 nokia data cabel. Pc suit is downloadable from nokia.com----7270----software. Version is 6.5.12 About memory: 15,5mb of a memory is not enought for many mp3's but a part of mp3 of about 30 sec is about 500kB of memory...so u can transfer many mp3 parts for ringing tone or sms tone....

my 7270 lost it's signal / reception just recently, i have no idea what causes this problem but it's unusable anymore, it's not the carrier's problem because i have other nokia phones and they have no problem. I've read a few negative reviews about this phone which concerned me cos Ive been wanting it since its release last year, and FINALLY got it this week cos there was a big price drop in May which made it even cheaper for me cos I work at Optus. Granted this is not the phone for everyone, but I LOVE it! I previously had a 6220, and this phone does EVERYTHING I want it to. Most important to me was the bigger screen and better colour resolution, and also being able to have mp3 ringtones. When I saw what came in the box (wrist strap, both a red AND black textile wrap, carrying pouch, etc... I was even more excited. Compared to others, and especially the 3230, the memory is pretty average, but rather than have whole length mp3 tracks on here, Ive snipped 10 t0 30 second sections of what I want for ringtones, and ive still got heaps of memory. I havent had any problems with it, and im happy with the ease of navigation and the whole black/red theme. I'm sure the 7270 will be succeeded by something hotter and more hi-fashion soon, but for now, I LOVE it!

Expensive for its class range. And battery life is dissappointing. Having used a philips 650 and i know it's not fair to compare these two i'd say at the end of the day cameras, radios, games and stuff are all fancies that u'd probably play with when first got the phone but you'll find that perhaps practicality is more important than a fashion statement. And cheaper by half. Otherwise go for phones from other brands with the same fancy functions yet not so exorbitantly charged. It doesn't have bluetuoth, it's okay with me.. but I didn't like the quality of the video,, it's really poor,, the quality of the pictures is satisfactory,, the animated themes for the main and the mini dispaly are AMAZING!! Nokia 7270 does play mp3 and aac files. MY brother sent me a 1 MB mp3 file and N7270 played it. I'm not sure if I can receive bigger sized mp3 files,, I'll try anyway,,I live in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and I paied 1500 Dirhams (about $350 )! Great price.. I got this phone in Singapore in January using equipment upgrade/contract for SGD638, usually SGD668. For no strings attached, it is more than SGD700. The same battery capacity used in other old phones which now supports 2 LCD with backlight and can last for 2 to 3 days, you should count yourself lucky. But it is a better phone compare to Nokia 6170 in terms of memory. For 3 months, this phone price seems to be quite steady. Hope it will have re-sale value in future.

Most siple way for mp3 translation is "file transfer" from software. Usb is not encluded in box. As i said, mp3 can be set as sms tone. It is stereo. Loudspeaker is stereo too. And a big different betwen 6170 and 7270 is memory. The 6170 has shit of memory.

This is simply a great phone, far more practical than the 7280, and 6260 is too big and lacks class and style, it is too common. if u need bluetooth get an adapter.style and fabric style are very closer to VERTU, Nokia keep up good work. Cheers.

u can trasfer mp3 files over "File trasfer" from cd (software). It can be added as sms tone. Memory is more than 15 mb ( 15,6mb i think). I bought it in Croatia (my country) and i paid 4 it about 450 euro. Great phone!

i love this phone. aside from the awesome features, this phone allow you to record 3 mins of custom ringtone. to me, i find this feature most fascinating since i have never had any phone that does that. this is my third phone this year, and i'm upgrading from the motorola mpx220. so believe me when i tell you i know lots about bad phone! i actually like the mpx220, but it was too big for a girl to drag around. i'm loving this phone. :O) have fun choosing phone, and good luck.

Y nokia makes flip phones if they're based on making bar phones like previosly. They cant make good flips coz flips are created and based on Korean and Japanese phones (and Motorola). The designs of N phones are getting more bizzare and i find nearly all the new Noks Ugly like hell. I dont find it as a fashion statement at all! The technology of N phones are not as 'top' as Samsung or NttDoCoMo. My whole family used to use Nokia phones coz 1, they're innexpensive 2, they're reliable and 3, they're simple..like the 3310 and 5210. But now, the price tag of Noks are high, designs are fucked up and reliability is not the word of description anymore. I dont know y im soo offended with Noks now, my whole family is. But now, i found SE cool, reliable and technologicly fulfilled. Thank You...lol

Nokia due to outsourcing for its production of phones are unable to compete competitively in terms of features and specifications and thus turn to bringing out designs different from other competitors. Nokia's marketing strategy is to stand out in terms of looks. This strategy may prove to work in the short term as they also release their phones earlier than competitors. Eg. 6230 was released in anticipation of the SE K700 and Motorola E398. However since the release of those two phones, sales of 6230 has fallen. The designs may catch the attention of the so called fashion savvy people. But phones are not a fashion accessory and the current designs brought out are not only strange but poorly designed in terms of durability and ease of use. I would recommend Nokia to revisit their marketing strategy, because in the long run, Nokia may eventually lose out to rest of the competition.

The design is cool...indeed it is different. The specs however are still lame and I wouldn't trade my GX20 for it. Seriously, screen size, resolution and quality is very important to me. The TFT is too small in resolution...I just can't compare it to the Sharp CGS. My opinion. Features are OK, FM Radio is always good to have. But why not incorporate an MP3 player and SD Card as in the 6230?? Would make this phone much more versatile. It's a tri-band at least...so I don't have to worry about travelling. EDGE is good, 2.5 G. Well, and other than that the features might be not bad. I feel better about this phone though then about the rest. Getting closer, but not quite there yet, NOKIA.

You Can't make flip phones to look nice, they all look square and horrible. 6170 (Yuk), 2650 (double yuk), 7200 (HORRENDOUS). Please, Nokia, if you want to stay in business, sack your company designer, because other than the appearance your phone is fine. SE, Samsung, Motorolla, siemens, even LG all outshine you.
