  • i hawe a nokia 8850 now in my hand , the best and beutiful mobile ever... in 2001 i hawe sell about 200-300 nokia per month , but never see a better phone in the "little" clas , 8800 suck'e , 1kg phone , memory suck's, camera suck's , but the price.....wow.. just idiot's buy that phone....

  • Yup, I'd buy one

  • 10 years on and Nokia still haven't made a decent replacement for this phone. From an earlier post: "bob, you are perfectly right!!! i have an ideea:let's send a letter to nokia, signed by gsmarena users,in order to make again 8850 ,limited edition. i don't know how,but it's not impossible!!!" I have just 'petitioned' Nokia to start re-making this phone in an updated form! Feel free to add to it!

  • I do agree with you. But The 8800 Carbon has a similar feeling and carry the same DNA

  • where can we buy the casing?

  • I just purchased one of these off ebay brand new. The best looking phone Nokia ever made. If only this was color screen with a camera i would stop using my iphone. Have now owned about 4 of the 8850's but this is the first brand new one. Will be keeping this one in a safe place to cherish.

  • it means it is not for sale annymore

  • what does it means by status:discontinue?

  • Got this phone today for 20eur in a charity auction!Almost like new.. It is very cool,a classic to keep, although the software is not as good as the 8310

  • i have this phone, still very eye catching i love it, paired with my touch screen phone

  • i have found it but it is verry expensive. 100 euro minumum

  • hi.... i m 4m india. i m a huge fan of this phn n i m looking frm couple of months to find this phn bt...:-( plz somebody help me to get this phn.... plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  • This is definitely some alloy. It is cold when you pick up - unlike normal plastic phones. You might not have an original..

  • these on ebay for 30dollar are authentic nokia or replicas??

  • you can get one of ebay used for around £25.00-great gem of a phone

  • i used to have one back in the days... brillent cell phone of the time. wish you could get todays tech in those days size.

  • How am i disprespecting him when his argument is flawed and of pure ignorance and assumes just because it comes from the East, it is automatically rubbish. No, it is people like him and for the people who defend him such as yourself who need to learn to respect other cultures and realise that other countries do things better than the west.

  • you dont have to tell it to somebody elses feelings,, more or less it will happen to yourself,, be more open with some soft skills and respect others perception ,,,,

  • why u just feel sad no like that ok?i also got some story but about my love just end early because my boy just love another girl ready...hope u all got more happy day with your all love...

  • what some meaning at life?is about you love story?about you x girl sim card number?why u do like that.do u know i will feel sad now..,@n@

  • is that true that it is painted plastic?

  • For your information, Iphones and pretty much everything you use are made in China. Next time, try to be a little less ignorant and philistined when posting comments.

  • for me this is a vintage celphone of all time....

  • just replace the LCD of ur phone. Anyways, how much does it cost nowadays? because I plan to have one if I can afford to buy it. Considering the fact that it was one of the most expensive phones in its time :) Thanks.

  • this phone is cool & style!!! i love this phone so so much. no problem at all! i give 2 thumbs up!

  • This is my fav all time. For some reason i like this phone over the iphone i have. I have 3 of these and the screens are slowly dying (Blur) :( Anyone knows how to if that?

  • i have got the gold series nokis 8850...but is a 2nd hand phone too...have been searching it for so many yrs finally i got it.

  • I am a mobile collector, this is one of my favourite phones.

  • This phone is the most beautifull 8800 series

  • I just bought a Nokia 8850! I have been looking for this phone for absolute ages! I think it is second hand, and after 10 years I don't know how else you would get one, but it is awesome! The metallic body is top-notch!

  • hello.. where have you bought a new one? and how much did it cost you for this phone as of this day?.. Since, there have been a lot of new and hi tech ones.. because like you guys, I also loved this phone.. But I haven,t got one..

  • i want

  • The best phone for the period, Made in Findland! rather than china or taiwan. if someone would like such phone- value it at 500$usa. regardless... thsi phone will last for anotehr 10 years easily

  • hi,i just get the cellphone,it's so new.lols...so happy -^_^-

  • lol.. that's what u get 4 following the trend.. it actually costed half the price after almost a year.. not a good deal!

  • It is not magnesium or titanium. It is not even metal. Whole case made from painted plastic.

  • love love love it then!!! hate it hate it now!!! grrr. very expensive./ bought it for P26K! grrr

  • At goldfingers?

  • ebay

  • any ideas on where to find replacement complete cover for the phone , in Europe ? Mine is completly scratched and i am looking for a replacement to make it as good as new once again.

  • The difference is directly related to signal strength and propogation and could be considered the most important part of any mobile phone. The more frequencies on a network available, the better the coverage. The more networks available, the better the coverage again. But then again, you'd already know that, being so interested in the PHONE capabilities of it, wouldn't you? You should take the effort to learn these things before you bash them for being "un-needed".

  • Best phone Nokia ever made!!! Just got mine this weak and its one of the best phones Ive ever had. Simple and beautiful.

  • most beautiful 8er. I like it more than new luna, arte. At that time,in 1999 the only thing that matters was design and materials. No camera. Simly and elegant like a watch. It must be remake with a small colour screen,bluetooth,card,mp3,things that don't change at all it's classic timeless design. Like it was 8910 and it's "i" black version in 2002

  • i don't understand the difference between frequencies...? 1800? 1900? What does it mean? What i know is that this mobile is a... MOBILE!!! Not a gadget, not a camera, not full of useless softwares s**t... ONLY A QUALITY PHONE!!!

  • i bought it one yesterday, the phone works excellent.really great phone by nokia

  • i still have my 8850 at home.. no colours, no mp3, no photos... but still my husband's best friend...

  • the one with antenna is the 8810, 8890 is a 8850 with 1900 frequency instead of 1800.

  • the most excelent phone produce by nokia.

  • greatest phone i have ever used

  • No the 8850 with antenna is the 8890 this phone is really great, even after almost a decade

  • this is the best nokia 8850 i ever had its easy to use plus it looks reali smart

  • may I have a question about this phone: it this one have a outside antenna (flexible)???

  • I had been looking for this phone and now i finally got it today the new piece, it reminds me when i got my 1st one for abt Canadian dollars 1100 in 2000. damn i love it more and more. will keep it for my collection and e-bay it in the future together with LG Chocolate platinum edition. lol

  • Not titsnium, its magnesium. A classic and great old school phone. Still remember the first time i say it at phils(greenhills), cost P80k

  • www.ebay.com...just write in search cell nokia 8850 and buy it;)

  • To Look4: The 8850 I got from Foneco.co.uk was refurbished. It had a brand new shell so no scratches, a new battery, original charger and an original Nokia 8850 box. Still going strong!

  • its nice but already out of the decade... its old'

  • It's made of titanium.. Hry guys! Mine has a white led screen. U know why?? Did u know it comes whith 2 different screen colors? (white/blue)

  • i'm using this phone as a spare phone.. use it only when going hike/mountain/etc... but i like it a lot... very nice looking... i was just wondering, is the casing made of aluminium?? coz last time i noticed a dent on the back casing.. since when did plastics have dents???? just wanted to know, is it actually made of metal???

  • the sweetest phone ever. I want buy it, but can not find it. Nokia make it agin.

  • GUYS! I'm gonna get this phone as a spare phone. ONE question. How many sms can this baby store? Thanks!

  • classic phone. common nokia, make more phone like this one!

  • bob,you are perfectly right!!! i have an ideea:let's send a letter to nokia, signed by gsmarena users,in order to make again 8850 ,limited edition. i don't know how,but it's not impossible!!!

  • nokia,i bet 1 million euro: if you bring back 8850 and 8810,they will sell like new, even now,in the era of great n95 and 8800 arte. too many people miss this models. they will sale again and again,no doubt better than in 1998-1999. just try with a limited number of this old beauties at a price around 250 euro

  • to tunde: is 8850 from fonco.uk a new 1? thankyou

  • LEGENDARY phone... I brought the 8210 but upgraded to this shortly afterwards... have used the N80, Sirocco and Luna since but none come even close. The blue backlight, matte finish and keypad are unbeatable, all in a TINY package. Shame technology eventually caught up with it, but its still the perfect combo of elegance and class.

  • Anyone looking for an 8850, you can get them here at www.foneco.uk. I just got mine from here to today (along with an 8910i) and it brings back good memories of when I got my first one years back. Still a great phone, one of Nokias icons!

  • Don't u guys have problems regarding the signal of the phone?

  • no dout one of the best phones i ever used.. its a classic nokia should consider makeing advance models of this design...

  • This is probably the best phone I've ever owned. Small, discreet, stylish, quick, easy to text with, especially with the tactile keys, the slider to hold it with and the Nokia T9 implementation for punctuation and extras. The cool blue light from the phone never bothered me in the car and never dazzled me at night and the display was always readable in daylight without having to light up the screen as we do now with modern colour screens. This was phone was a masterpiece, genious. Everything was optimum. Nokia are strong on marketing image and I always felt the 8850 said the right things about it's owner. As for the 8800, it just...hasn't got it. 8850 said 'smart'. 8800 talks more about itself, something like...'lead-lined gold-plated tea pot with 3 handles, buy me if you think you're rich enough'.

  • I own a Nokia 8850.. and its still going strong! Ok it gets warm against your ear and after 10 text messages its full. Ok and yeah its 8 years old... Someone still offered me 150 quid for this timeless classic!!!

  • the godfather of nokia !! what a phone love it ,

  • I've searched for this 8850 2yrs to find it in good shape and finally I bought it... This is not a mobile phone, this is LEGEND. There are no mobile phones, there is just 8850

  • How about the spare part incase there is problem

  • 889 rulles on 1900Mhz!

  • does anybody know...wats the differents....form the 8890? i dont?

  • this is phone is the godfather off all phones what classic love it !!

  • wow great fone i can't explain my feelings about this fone... i really love nokia.8850... i need again supply in pakistan plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • What a classic phone. Just bought another, a new gold one. Looks brilliant. You cant improve on this design. Yes you can get Mp3,Mp4, bluetooth with all singing and dancing phones loaded with latest techno features, but for the over 40/s man, why? It rings. It sends txt messages. It oozes class. Its still the best looking phone around, and creates more visual interest than any other phone i have ever owned. My teenage son now wants one, and his friends are also interested. They are still available but becoming more rare. Perhaps its now fasionable to go retro. Its a Cool Phone with a capital Coo. I THINK I WILL IMPORT ANOTHER INCASE THEY BECOME TO RARE.

  • i traded my motorola c261 for this phone. i am tired of mobile phones that look like toys. the plasticy feature sucks big time. nokia 8850 is the simplest elegant phone in the world which comes really handy. really great.

  • just bought one today suprisingly still found a brand new one..currently im usin 8800 but 8850 is amazing and a true collectors item.

  • i`m now with Sony Ericsson K700i but this phone is miserable, the joy pad is broken AGAIN and now i thinking abaout to buy this nokia .8850 have a unique form but i donqt know ...verry old no memory,no camera Here in Bulgaria Nokia8850 cost 45$ seconhand of course.

  • I'm still using it. Best looking and small. I buy it year 2000 and still got no problem with it till now. So amazing!!

  • No doubt this is a very beautiful phone, but this is all in the past. The phones that nokia make now all look like bricks.

  • i am still using this phone, it one of the best design nokia had ever made. i wish nokia makes same design with features like 8800.

  • I brought this phone when it newly came out! its awesome design it still the best of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its so sexy, just bougt one off ebay in silver its a gangsta mobile its really wicked, wished it had bluetooth and color screen anyway goodbye

  • just brought secondhand one in very good condition, and as a phone freak having brought over a hundred in the last few years this phone is just the best in terms of form, the crome and light blue backlight will never be supased

  • i brought this phone but when i brought it to make it look different i put neon blue l.e.ds inside instead of the white then i lost this phone and i was so pissed off but this phone was sick

  • my bf owned one few years back. tis phone is a beauty. look so ellegant. i've used it for a few days. cool phone.

  • A legendary mobile phone - never to be forgotten

  • I did the same with my 8850. I bought an used 8850 in a good condition and changed the entire cover, now it looks as new, it still works but I don't use it, because I bought it as a collectors item.

  • This is the best phone i ever owned. It has got amazing looks. Everything about this phone is awesome. Too bad i dont have it anymore. I wish my parents hadnt sold it.

  • this phone is so damn cute. i've found one quite good and i'm going to change whole cover, keypad and that chromine interior. the best buy ever :D

  • I got it for a really bargain price in my hometown. Surprised I could actually find a working one. The keypad leds are abit dark on the left side and the volume buttons don't work but other than that its fine! The condition is slightly scratched but this phone is so rare! I heard the original casing is around 80 USD but i got the phone for a cheaper price than the original casing. LOL

  • I have this phone, just bought a complete new cover for this phone, I'm not using it any more, it is a collectors item and one thing for sure, I'm not going to sell this phone

  • finally i hv this dream phone.... so happy.... best phone

  • I have been using this phone for more then 3years and still VERY HAPPY with it.and because not a lot people have it,it's just originality to have it:))

  • I'm still using it, I'm still in love with, and I'm dam proud that i own it!!

  • The best phone durin the 1900s and the best looking phone EVER made. You did a job jod in that days nokia. Today u are pissing me of :-) all ur phones a missing something, there is no nokia phone that have all in one.

  • This phone is just amazing there's not that many features on it but its a slick looking..

  • my dream phone the design is really... best...

  • This is a great phone and I'm proud of myself that I owne 1.

  • the best nokia ever made...it was a model to us all...

  • Hello! Could someone help me please? I just found in one store Nokia 8850 brand new at 110euro. Could someone please tell me which is the real battery lifetime(standby and talktime) for this Wonderfull Piece of Technology? I really want one.Does anyone know if there is a store or e-store wherefrom I can buy a higher capacity battery for nokia 8850? Thank You in Advance! Have a Nice Day!

  • Hello! I like this phone a lot even if it is an old model. It still beats, in design, over 90% of the current models. This phone is a legend.Even over 5 years from now on, there will be 8850 users and peoples who will like to buy it.The new 8800 is luxurious too, but it won't be like this one.I think is the biggest hit of all phones. Thank You!

  • pretty phone, it's 5 years old but still one of the most beautyfull phones ever made. It's an old one, but I'm very glad that I'm one of them who ones one.

  • I still like this phone very much even no camera or colour screen. Any seller wanna sell this phone. I want brand new.

  • i found one brand new in a store , bought it straight away for one hundred euros with box , charger, manual, cd-rom. the phone looks and feels like anything that i had in years. i sold my samsung e730 that had a camera, flash, color screen and other stuff on it, and now i have this phone, with simple menu, blue xenon like light, titanium casing. a simple phone...for someone simple like me. but i have style and this phone is in my opinion the most elegant phone i have ever seen, except the 8800, but that one is 800 euros, battery lasts a day...and it has all the functions that i'd never ever use - color screen just hurts my eyes in the dark-. i hope it lasts three or four years, and i'm not planning on chainging this phone. it's the best ever one hundred euros that i had spent ... except that night when i was in Prague with that girl...ok...bye bye...conclusion - i recomend this phone from all my heart. cheers

  • It is really a classic phone. I got mine in 2000, and still can't bear to change it now. Very hardy and simply elegant though it lacks all e functions that the current phones have now.

  • Really special phone...looks better that any other "trendy" phone

  • I am not being mean or anything but this phone is pretty bad: no camera and only monophonics !!!

  • The most elegant phone ever made.

  • It was inevitable. Nokia has just announced the 8800 which is the next model of the 88xx series of high end 'style' phones. No doubt there will be another version which uses different metal body. Check it out on the nokia website, and here as well. The 8850 is pretty much obsolete. The only place you could find one would be ebay. There are newer versions of the PC Suite, and I think can be downloaded from the Nokia website. Whether it will be compatible with the 8850, I don't know.

  • G'day there... I still have this gr8 mobile, however I'm running Windows-XP I can't get the PC Suite s/ware to work. I understand it will only work for older versions of Windows, Windows ME and under. Any ideas of where I can get an updated version for the 8850 to work under the PC Suite s/ware for W-XP. TIA Thanking In Advance

  • sir i am really intrested in this nokia 8850 but this picei can't get thruogh market i thing this handset is not available in market .but i want to purchase this nokia8850 what i can do ???

  • Yeah I agree, I bought it as being in full working order so i'm sending it back. Thanks for your help. I'll have to get another phone instead! (Again)

  • Sounds like you've got a slightly dodgy phone there nate...presumably it was second hand and not preserved as new. It doesn't pick up signals as well as newer phones, but not the problem you describe. The clock should be fine...I too rely on the alarm.

  • Just got one of these phones, I've wanted one for some time and the opportunity came to get one very cheaply. I've dispensed of my N-gage and Sony T610 to have one of these. They look SOOO cool. One problem I have though is with the Clock, it just doesn't keep time! It is very very slow. As a result I can't use the alarm which i rely on! Also the signal is very weird, it often goes from 4 bars to none and then back to 4 again when just sitting on the desk! It often goes when i open the slide and i have to wait for signal to come back before i can make a call! Anybody else had these problems?? Still a great little phone, Nate.

  • heh...I've owned this phone for 4 years now and it still so cool. I don't need any of the fancy colour screens, camera and stuff. A phone that lets you call people and receive calls, wow, those were the days. My battery (original) still gives me 3-4 days standby and light use. So if yours is less, probably time to replace the battery. Waiting to see what Nokia will produce next for the 88xx series before I want to give this up. Has to be small, stylish, and metallic.

  • it suites any time, place, class etc. can it be improved to accommodate features like mms,gprs,pic/video etc.

  • If you don't care about those colour screen, mms or whatsoever they call hi tech thing, this is the phone you looking for.I my self have used this phone 3 times and it really feel good to hold it and use it.It's really timeless design phone.

  • A truly beautiful phone

  • I have a Sony Ericsson k700i which i belive is 1 of the best phones in 2004 but when i got a 8850 i coulden't careless what functions the phone had, the looks were enough to draw me in. Now i have a $1300 Sony Ericsson sitting around. THE 8850 RoCkS

  • Great phone... sophisticated, elegant, chic with a touch of class kinda phone. Who cares about the features? the phone simply kiss A**

  • I like 8850 very much.. his model very simple but looks elegan why nokia not continue 8850 to 8850i. with some new feature, like colors lcd, poliphonics, and can mms :)

  • the casing can be replaced at PhP 4500

  • please I have problem with my Nokia 8850 phone it always switch off whenever I am making use of it. It develop this problem about two weeks ago. Where can I get it repaired. I Live in Nigeria.

  • its a goodlooking cellphone with all the basic requirments. so please continue this cellphone with few amendments. thanks

  • hello i have a set of nokia 8850 and believe me it hurts me to say that the signal recieving of this set is to much loose and no battery timing.its battery standby time is only 35 to 40 hours it disappoint me i have a lot of faith in ur company but this set broke my feelings bye

  • its nice

  • I have a 8850 phone for about 4 years now and it has never let me down. Best looking and working phone around. Surely it doesn't have a camera or other gadgets, which is perfect so nothing can break down. If you need to take pictures, buy a nice camera... Pure classe !

  • Selling Nokia 8850 Gold at S$600.00 (price does not include freight charges) email me if interested

  • too small and too light. it is more a fahsion mobile than a real work tool. more made to be seen and show richness tha anything else.it will never be a professionnal mobile phone.

  • I have just forked out 299.99 for one of these off line in the UK. In my opinion is the best 300 i could spend on a phone brand new phone. Be it that its 3 years old, but this piece of kit is timeless. In a few years time, i think i could sell it for double the price. Anyway, salute to NOKIA 8850. Geniune class.

  • he is so good looking .please send me catlog by my email add.& tell me price &fucation

  • Nokia 8850 rocks! Though I live in the non-GSM United States, I've used the phone in my travels from Europe to Asia and has never failed me. The only reason why I bought it was because of the 8860, which is the TDMA version but battery life sucks big time. The 8850 is slightly smaller and uses all the same accessories except for the battery, which lasts much, much longer. I'm waiting either for a TDMA version of the 8850 here in the USA or the USA change to GSM. GSM RULES!

  • i think nokia are not better than ericsson becuase i have always had a nokia and it is rubish the vibrator is not good and the voice dilling its better for nokia not to even put one in becuase it never works!!!!! but ericsson it always does i just got a ericsson T39 and it is better than any nokia even the 8850 all nokia do is put games and cool messeging and poeple buy the phones anly for that. also found out that all nokia phones are the same like the 3310 and 3330 is thw wap and 8310 and the 8210 ll thats diffrent is the radio the couler of the screen and that is the same for all of them but ericsson dont really need to make there phones look wicked and flashy ericsson think about technology becuse a phone is to phone poeple not to walk around with a cool cover i agree style does count but thats why poeple but nokia.

  • I have spent a while reading all the opinions on this very special phone so i will take the time to share my opinion. Before i say anything i just want the readers to know that i am a mobile phone dealer and have had every mobile phone u can think of. The Nokia 8850 is the most elegant, classy & beautiful looking phone in the world!!!! It has been out for more than 2 years and it is still the most expensive phone you can get!! U MIGHT ASK WHY? BUT THE PHONES ANSWERS THAT IT SELF!!! When it comes to features it isn't the top of the range simple because its 2 YEARS OLD!!! But very much still it isn't to far behind WHEN IT COMES TO NOKIA. Games aren't the issue, feel and quality are!! and the nokia 8850 surely gives you that. It is made from materials that make sure it is safe and secure at all times, and that is for sure a great feature. THE BUTTONS MIGHT BE A LITTLE TO SMALL FOR YOU BUT THERE ARE MADE FROM CROME!!!! THIS IS THE FINEST PHONE IN THE WORLD AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU NOTHING WILL EVER BET IT. ITS'S NO. 1

  • If you could put in a minute minder in to warn on the minutes spent on phone

  • an amazing phone. the most elegant phone in the market. great features like the auto slide cover. very expensive though. other than that a fine pleasure to have and to own.

  • not bad A!?

  • 8850 is very cool.I'd like one for free

  • who is nokia 8850 ?

  • Can you tell me how much the NOKIA 8850 would cost sim free please.

  • it sux. old, crapy, problematic phone. cheap, but not worth it. get 6510 or 8310 they r way better. fuck 8850 and its phone, 8850.

  • no comment.beauty beats functions,feelings beats logic

  • timeless design,decent functions,the most beautiful phone in the world.i have this model for 2 full years,and i still love it.it's like a mercedes-benz

  • The best phone I ever had! Design is wonderfull! Those who say it sucks, go to your self! PostSckriptum: Sivuston yllpitjill on erittin paljon asiavirheit monien puhelimien tiedossa. Und das war alles!

  • 8850 still kicks 8310 big time in terms of style and design. love it forever!

  • This is the most beautiful phone that Nokia has ever made. Simply the best!

  • I think this is the best design from Nokia, combining style with quality in materials but don't expect too much in feature or technology !!! you will disappointed as soon as after you buy it! is there lower price from Nokia?? bad price for this 8850 !

  • I think that this phone has a great design the quality is good and to keep it more or les exclusive the price is ok!!!!

  • This phone hav games but U hav written it doesn't hav games so plz correct it.

  • Cumpar 8850 ofer 280$ urgent

  • i think this is the best nokia of them all.it is so genuane, it also attracts. i just like everything within it. i wish i could have it right now.

  • I happen to have one of these marvellous phones. As I said it looks splendid but it hurts me to say, it's all that's got! And at this money, from the first day I bought it I only get dissapointed with it. Do not buy it and save your money for the future phones (like Sendo), not like other stupids!

  • I love this phone its very pretty. i think you are very pretty as well luv dodgy dick

  • What exactly do you people mean when saying this phone is of bad quality? It's one of the sturdiest models there is, and one you are not too likely to have to take prepaired. Another thing: You sad morons cry because "it has no new technology in it". Umm, how about waking up, this phone is more than two years old already! It was one of the most advanced models when it was first released! But by all means, please go and get some more "reasonable" model like Ericsson A2618s (hahahaaa), I (and many others) am quite happy with my 8850 the best thing being not every poor idiot has the same.

  • High price, bad quality. Would never buy it again (and have already sold it)

  • Have purchased a 8850 two years ago. Good looking and that's it. Maybe nice to have but all in all its overpaid and the quality is not as good the quality of an older Ericsson (f.e. 788e) also the features are not up to date

  • I don't get it. Why does Nokia overprice it's phones so much? This phone doesn't have any new technology in it. It just tears your pocket apart...

  • this is the best phone out of NOKIA so far.... so classy and light in weight.... thumbs up for nokia !!! but now that it is quite a while, what phone will replace 8850?

  • this phone stinks! it smells of rotten eggs mixed with rotten bananas and grapes!

  • die technik ist scheisse!

  • If you want class, elegance written on your face. This is the phone you must have!!!!

  • The best-looking phone on the market thats 4 sure. I had one and I didn't treat it very well. The case dented easily and the back cover was loose most of the time. My fat fingers were a pain in the ass when it came to pressing the tiny buttons. But who cares? The phone is MAD looking, garaunteed to get you chicks. If you got the moola, get it but look after it. Don't throw it around like I did :) Btw, I have opted for a 8250 cos it is more durable and the buttons are bigger. A great alternative to the 8850.

  • Heck, the phone costs between 250 - 300, but Its the best looking phone out there. If you've got the cash burning in your wallet - buy it. If not, buy it anyway. The screen is to die for.

  • It does have games!!!

  • This phone is the same 8200 series. It doesn't do anything different. The only difference is that it has dual mode. For the price however I would at like to have tri-band. Now as far as looks go I have changed everything on my 8290 to make it look unique. I've changed the faceplate the leds and even customized the screen with cartoon characters. If a silver cover can beat that that's fine. I just don't agree. Don't buy this phone because it looks good, it's simply not cost effective. I would like to advise you to buy because it works in the US and Europe but it's missing a the 1800mgz mode. So in conclusion don't buy this phone. It's great but cost over function should in the end prevail.

  • easy desmond.. let out that hate elsewhere. its really not that bad. in fact, its a pretty damn good phone. if you are looking for games, i suggest you carry a gameboy around with you. games arent supposed to be the primary function of a phone, this one like any other. and there is nothing wrong with the features, theyre nearly the same as any new nokia, nothing worthwhile missing. the screen looks superb, but in this area lies the one problem with the phone. i know 5 or 6 people who have this phone and the same thing that happened to me happened to each one of them. the screen starts to fade away, eventually disappearing. this is a major fault for a phone; im taking mine to be fixed tomorrow. despite this, i do love the phone. its feels so well put together. the small buttons really arent a problem unless your life depends on dialling a number in a quarter of a second. after all, if you want a small phone, its not going to have big buttons is it? looks slick, feels slick, features great. great phone.

  • ---------------------------------- Someone just loves writing reviews with other people's names. So - here is mine comment of the phone: -------------------------------- If you want to waste money , this is a really nice way to do it. This is just a very expenisve phone with a funky design, poor battery, and almost no extra functions . It doesn't even have the games you can find in every other nokia.

  • Sometimes I just don't know what to choose. All Nokias are excellent.

  • the 8850 is the best phone that i have ever bought even if before i had the 3310 but is the best looking out of the lot.

  • Beautiful phone but the sliding cover make it hard to press the three bottom buttons especially at the two corners.

  • Sleaky but too small buttons.

  • that kees guy was talkin out his ass. great phone. good looks, great functions

  • the screen... holy jesus this screen is nice... almost orgasmic... i love this phone... it feels so solid, great quality, even the part behind the battery cover looks good.. damn this phone is good... dont worry about the small buttons u get used to them easily

  • Geniales Design & ausgereifte Technik!

  • This is the best mobile phone ever!! With a beautiful design, and a superb software!! Fantastic!!

  • I've got one the only thing it needs is the software updating. Great phone

  • this is the worst phone ever just like the 8210 dont buy them. theyre only goodlooking but everything else sucks, believe me. kwow 4 relative who got them and al 4 dont work properly. dont buy it i warned you

  • visst fan r den bra, men sl45:an e bttre!!

  • the best nokia phone ever!!!
