Xiaomi Mi 9T - User Reviews

  • Thanks for the information, as I am comparing him with A70, it seems mi9t is beating him straight. Also I am reading a lot of issues which people having with A70, while with mi9t isn't like that :)

  • no heating issues. i've use mi 9t and the heating just around 38 to 39. best mid-range xiaomi phone 2019

  • So it's not big issue with the "fast draining battery"? It had fix, as you said to disable the autostart of the applications? What about the camera? Whats the performance as example in some games? As I can see on the yt videos, the phone is doing great.

  • The phone only heat because the fast drain battery problem that you can solve by disabling the auto start feature of applications. It's a really nice phone overall

  • I'm considering to purchase this phone on black friday, what are your thoughts? Is it true that the phone is heating? I'll appreciate your opinions.

  • For the live sound records lg g8/v40/v50 best choice hands down

  • nice phone , but in Europe the price is a bit to HIGH!!

  • I am really confused about audio review. For example, some of the phone has hi-res audio certification. But still I didn't found any difference when I read audio review compared to a phone which don't have any certification. It's sad that audio reviews is kinda ignored !!!!

  • Disable auto start feature

  • Nobody got android 10

  • EEA Versions in October, and Global version few days ago.

  • Guys did anybody recive Android 10 upgrade with he MIUI 11 update or you are stuck on Android 9 like me? My device is Global ROM ( not EEA , or Indian version).

  • when did this get miui 11

  • I was lucky to have it for that price. I install Pixel cam and now is camera really good. Here you live in Bosnia? I lived in Ptuj, Slovenia before. Balkan is really nice.

  • Some one say about heating while playing pubg

  • I also noticed a small downfall on the battery sidez ot drains a bit faster than it was before...

  • It heats up and drains battery more. Does it have any fix?

  • Hi. For mi9t came with 18w charging right. Can it use if i buy 27w charger for mi9t?

  • I have new phone just buy yesterday, same time getting new updates MIUI 11, i feel hot .. right up corner also feeling battery draining fast, anyone feel same issues?

  • No

  • nope

  • facing same problem

  • hi did anyone experience fast battery drain after updating to miui11? i have very high android system percent. it's like 40-50%+. what's your fix here? settings or what?

  • just 18w

  • is it suport 27w qc or just 18w ?

  • Any cam improvements with the new MIUI ?

  • Yes it does

  • If you look at the spec, you should go with Mi9T

  • Go for Sony sensor. The Pixel and Iphone using the same one

  • This phone does the job pretty well. i have for 2 months now. the pop-up camera will surprise you. Camera is better Iphone 7+ or similar to Pixel1. This phone handle gaming pretty well also and for the daily use the battery once charged in the morning from 8AM to 9PM you still have at least 30-35 percent left. I paid 300$ for this phone in where i live.

  • The mic for sound recording is acceptable. similar to Galaxy s9+.

  • Hi, anyone knows how the microphone on Mi 9T is? I mean to use it to record live electronic music gigs, with very high volume and very high bass. I have a Redmi Note 7 and it's too cheap to do that, the sound is completely distorted and impossible to listen to. Can a mid range phone like the Mi 9T (or Mi 9T Pro) do the job, or do I have to look for high end phones like Galaxy S10 or Huawei P30 or iPhone? Thanks..

  • I'm thinking about buing mi 9t, i still have to decide according to what's being released until Christmas but can anyone who has this phone tell me if it's practical on a daily basis? like because of the pop up camera for example... is everything okay with putting it in the pocket and stuff? This would help a lot, thanks

  • if u looking for budget gaming mid-range then go for mi9t. this phone is a beast

  • 48MP sony imx 582 sensor vs 64MP samsung sensor, which is better?

  • Yes it does

  • No need to wait for it, OLED saver app does the same thing. It crashes once or twice a month and needs to be restarted, but otherwise it does the job perfectly.

  • yes it does

  • does mi 9t support otg?

  • does it finally have dc dimming?

  • scroll down to find the download link

  • Its fine. I play heavy games on mi9t and it plays it smoothly. Although it heats a little after playing a heavy game for a long time( almost 1 hour). But its a normal heat temperature. Just buy it. Don't think about it too much. Its a perfect phone.

  • Hi, can I install gcam in this device? If so, kindly let me know the way how to install gcam. Please..

  • Mi 9T or Mi 9 lite

  • You are the only person in the whole universe who has this problem. Must be a defective unit there. Please return it to the service centre so they can give you a new one. You don't have to spend extra money for an unreliable Samsung device. That thing throttles like crazy... I'm sure you've heard about it. CPU THROTTLING from EXYNOS processors manufactured by Samsung. You are in for a big disappointment cuz the mighty Samsung device you get today will eventually become unusable after a few months. Basically you will be getting half of the performance after a few months down the line which is not good. I advise strongly you replace your current device with another XIAOMI MI 9T. it is much more superior than Samsung trust me, I am a Samsung user and I recently sold my Galaxy S8 for a brand new XAOMI MI 9T.

  • Hi. did mi9t have a cooling system like mi9tpro?

  • So good! Now for $297 in the US!

  • Well said.

  • Note 8 pro,Realme XT

  • I play heavy games and it handle it well

  • I'm a heavy gamer.. shouldn't i got to the MI 9T? Is MI 9T bad for games? bcoz in here MI 9T pro is too expensive..

  • What are cheaper phones better than Mi9T in terms of camera?

  • If u r a heavy gamer go fot mi9t pro/redmi k20 pro if not then get a mi9t and save ur money

  • Mi9t any day is better than redmi note 8 pro

  • Realme x2

  • Mi9T looks much more preferable. Display without front camera, snapdragon processor, SAMOLED display. Difference of 20-30 dollars makes no sence IMHO. The only thing is - whether you are individually have issue with AMOLED's pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology. In other case - Mi9T is much better.

  • Mi 9T or Realme X2, camera wise?

  • Mi 8 or mi 9t ?

  • Shall I get the Mi 9t or the Redmi Note 8 pro I herd the 8 pro has heating issues or something like that

  • It's an excellent phone, however, lots of bloatware, which can be solved in a certain way, but I haven't tried it cause it seems risky. The camera obviously can't be matched to the Huawei P20, and the battery life almost last me a whole day when fully charged. The problem is the fact that, it often slows down after doing web browsing and so on, and I have to clean out the ram (in an app, already pre-installed) for it to be lightning fast. Other than that, no complaints.

  • how to force check an update?

  • Definitely!

  • Positive: The screen feels nice, fingertip on screen Works great, it's such a pretty phone! the blue one is stunning. Also battery lasts ALL day, you don't haver to charge everyday If you want Negative: I don't like the pop-up camera that much. Sometimes the screen Will freeze when I'm using it. Also it's such a heavy phone!!! It hurts my hands. And I think I can feel that the radiation is high when I use it. Overall the camera is not the best, some cheaper phones do It better

  • Try checking it on the network settings or on the drop down icons.

  • yes! 100% guaranteed.

  • is the performance in real life that far from mi 9t pro ... (not talking about gaming) I talk about app opening speed and ram management

  • is it a good daily driver material????

  • Will it work on virgin media and where did u buy it from?

  • If you can afford it, go for the s10e. And don't think twice

  • You would really recommend this over a Snapdragon 855? What a world we live in

  • I have a Mi 9T (PFJEUXM), and it updated yesterday to MIUI Global 11.0.2.0 stable. One problem that I see is that I lost the setting to enable/disable VoLTE... In MIUI 10 I could enable/disable it whenever I wanted in Vodafone P operator. The phone is still on Android 9 though... I thought MIUI 11 would come with Android 10.

  • Nope, just L1 support, thats all (

  • Is it built in with dual band GPS chipset?

  • Just wanted to comment that the new official firmware for MIUI 11 is working very well on the 9T. Force check an update, and it'll install without problems (at least mine was perfect). Enjoy!

  • Great phone but 2heavy

  • Its a pretty good phone but finger print sensor not that good, and the face unlock slightly slow, the camera quality is great except not as good in portratit mode, and in the night time. the 4k at 30 fps is not that good i use the 1080p by 60 fps very nice super amoled. Speaker is kinda of weak. THe lg g8 has better speaker.

  • Yeah. I agree. They should improve their audio quality.

  • I feel your pain. But you bought a faulty device return it since it just 1 month .am using the phone and I don't have such issues

  • The audio quality is quite inferior compared to Huawei/Honor or ZTE/Nubia phones.

  • Mi 9t by far

  • I like this mi 9t/k20 too. No doubt about it. But my honor 7x still good. If I'm going to updgrade, it'll be the successor of this mi 9t which is the k30 with rumored sd735 chip.

  • Whst do you recommend: Mi 9t or s10e?

  • Unlucky dude! I have had mine for 4 months and I have to say the buildquality is far better than my previous Galaxy and Huawei phones. So probably you got a bad example which can happen even if you buy a Samsung, Iphone, Huawei or any other brand.

  • What happened?

  • I'm from Sri lanka.. In here MI 9T Pro (128GB) = $ 435 .... MI 9T (128GB) = $ 325 ... so i have to go with MI 9T..

  • Had a 9T Mi for 1 month, it's in pristine cond, never been near water, never dropped, not 1 minor hair line scratch. Power button intermittently fails to function, and Vol Up is completely dead! Vol up fails hardware test, and 'cause it's faulty, when rebooting it loops into recovery! the only way to boot up is hold Vol Down! No factory reset resolves it, cannot downgrade, upgrade to European, or Liniage cause the BOOTLOADERS are locked, and theres a 100+ hour wait. Last Xioami I ever buy!. I have owned OnePlus1,3T 5, Samsung S3, S4, S5, Pixel XL, and all lasted, still have em! Xioami is questionable quality,

  • if im not mistaken.. mi 9t is snapdragon 730 not 630

  • I have had this phone for about 3 months and dont have a single complaint. Snapdragon 630 plays every app and game without issue, the battery is great, the cameras are very good and the screen is very nice with a fantastic screen to body ratio. The value you get is unmatched currently.

  • Mi9t offcourse

  • Totally agree with you. Mi 9t is the best phone you can buy right now in terms of features and price. The batterylife is probably the best thing about Mi 9t and it continues to surprise me everyday.

  • I have owned Mi 9t for a month now and it's The best phone that i have ever had. Not to mention that my previous phone was Samsung Galaxy S9. Camera on the S9 was really good in every condition but the battery was too small. it lasted from 9h to luckily full day in light use. Screen was excellent but very power consuming. Mi 9T has a very good camera and it performs best in daylight. There is a slight suffer in image quality in low light conditions because it takes somewhere around a second to take the photo but this is easily sorted with a stand or gorillapod or going to pro settings. Battery is huge 4000mAh and it lasts 2 full days in moderate use. Someone said that the audio quality is poor on Mi 9T but i haven't noticed anything compared to S9. Overall the Mi 9T has incredible quality-price ratio

  • Dude my friend has S9+ with 3500 mah. His battery dies before sunrise with that display set at 720p resolution. All that features dont matter if it doesn't last a day.

  • S9s camera is very good but if long battery duration is what you need you definitely need to consider mi9t. I have owned mi9t for a month and its The best phone i have ever had. battery lasts 2days in moderate use. games run smoothly no lags at all. camera performs great in daylight conditions. slight suffer in image quality in low light conditions but if you have a stand or a gorillapod thats easily sorted.

  • wow, that is a really good deal. Here in Bosnia 128gb version is for 330$ or 280 euros.

  • Today after 5 weeks owner of 9T I am a happy owner. Its a really nice phone with good camera. Here in Sweden is Iphone and Samsung is major brands. Lot of my friends really like Xiaomi today. Okay Mi max 3 is big, really big. Now from 6.9 to 6,39 screen feels small but what a screen 9T have. Its the best deal you can find. Here in Sweden Iphone 11 max pro cost 2000 dollar, For 2000 dollar you have a really nice TV or computer;-) I payd 303 dollar for 128 gb. Thats is a bargin

  • S9

  • i am making same decision XD

  • Mi 9T or Note 8 Pro?

  • yes . is very good deal because this prize for the 128 GB version is a ver very good deal . normally that price even a little higher is for the 64 GBversion

  • In low 1-2 level volume i hear cracking noise!! (Video, music, podcast). I tried this my friends phone Poco, mi a1 same problem occurs. High volume has no problem. I think this is common problem of xiaomi phones

  • What do you suggest me to get-MI9t,oneplus6t or galaxy s9?

  • In Bosnia. Shop is called Telesoft computers. Why are you asking? Is this a good deal?

  • A good mobile with hi quality camera, display,CPU and......

  • a bit to heavy and a bit to expencive.

  • please can you let me know in which shop do you see this price of 280 eur. for 128 gb version ? thank you

  • I have a chance to buy this phone for 280 euros (128gb version) which is around 330$. Should I buy it or should I wait for the price to drop more?

  • Does the fingerprint scanner work with a frosted glass screen protector? Does it heat when gaming? Can it run ARK mobile at atleast 30 fps on medium and max resolution?

  • Check in aliexpress

  • install VLC (beta) will play all formats check Dav1d

  • It's a good pop-up camera, durable, search up Jerry rigs video

  • Can anyone pls confirm the Mi 9T can play 10 bit (Main 10) HEVC H265 videos??

  • Sure mi 9t I write it now and is the best medrange phone present

  • Mi9t is far better

  • Obviously Mi9t F11 Pro isn't even close to Mi9t in terms of performance, camera and display quality not to mention their crappy Color OS.

  • MI 9T or Oppo F11 Pro give me some help please I am so confused 😕

  • Yes, this phone have a in-display senzor and work very nice and precise, is fast enought too.

  • Can I know about the in-display fingerprint sensor this fone have?

  • What is the best and most reliable website to purchase this phone in the UK?

  • front facing camera retract whenever it detects the phone has been dropped

  • It's pretty durable. (Search for JerryRiggs video about it.) I really don't use the front-facing camera often so I don't really care about the pop-up camera.

  • Hey guys Is the pop up camera concerning?! I want buy this phone but I'm afraid of Pop up camera. Please help me

  • If you can't buy a mi 9t pro, yes, this phone is the best option for games

  • I'm a gamer ... i need this for gaming.. eg:- pubg mobile, cod mobile and fortnite mobile... is this good at it?

  • Yes it is slippery without a case but there's a transparent case that you can buy and use.

  • yes, it is very slippery.

  • wut is the different between global rom and mi malaysia rom

  • I am planning to buy this phone, just need to know one thing. Is this phone SUPER SLIPPERY without a case? Because thats the major con I noticed on this website : Super slippery without a case, and yet, a case would hide its great looks

  • i cant seem to see all of your comment, since my phone screen got cracked, but its still working fine, judging by your comment I would say happy birthday and wish you more birthdays to come.

  • I have MI 9T and i'm very happy in all the aspects, but for u if u don't care of notch and 3.5mm jack go with 6T has better perfomance and maybe a better video camera (idk this for sure), if the price is 292 euros I think 6T is a better option for you.

  • Hello to all! I usually dont post comments to such sites/forums; but this time I would like make an exception to show my appreciation. I know most of your concerns before buying a new mobile. There are too many different alternatives, brands, specs to compare. We all would like to make the best choice regarding to our needs and budgets. I had the same hard period for 10-15 days, and thanks to this site, I bought a new Mi 9T a week ago. Its not logical to expect huge difference between the mobiles which are in close price range. They have different Pros and Cons in different areas. So, I was trying to find the most suitable one for myself. With the support of the comments and reviews in this site, I believe I’ve made the best choice for myself. Thats why I also wanted to share my experience and opinion here to help to those others who might feel a bit confused now while trying to get the best alternative for themselves. Concerning to my budget, (And my Dual Sim need) I had 3 alternatives in the beginning to replace my Samsung A7: Samsung A50, A70 and Huawei P30 Lite. I had been using Samsung, since the new generation smart mobile phones started to be produced. I had always thought that Samsung was the best choice for mid-range lovers like me. Due to its problems with Google, and advices of the local dealers, (plus my loyalty to Samsung); first I eliminated P30 Lite and decided to make a choice between A50&A70. At that point while searching through internet, luckily I found this site and started to consider other brands and models as well. Previously I didnt believe the reliability of the Chinese brands. But then I realized that, at the end almost all mobile phone manufacturers are using the same materials and parts (Chipset, RAM, Screen etc) in their mobiles they produce. After a long research and analysis, I’ve decided to take a risk of using a Chinese Mobile for the first time and made a choice of Mi 9T over A50 and A70. I’ve been using my new Mi 9T for a week. So far I am so happy with my choice. I definitely believe that its one of the best ones in this price range. Actually most of the main Cons and Pros of it are well explained in the site’s review with comparisons. (With scientific figures) I might add just few things. Mobile looks so elegant with its design and 86.1% screen-to-body ratio. Display is so good; honestly I couldnt feel any difference between my old Samsung A7 Super Amoled Screen and new Mi 9T Amoled Screen. With its chipset and 6Gb RAM, its so fast in daily use and all applications work so quick without any problem. (Sorry, I am not a gamer; cant say anything about that area) Battery life is so good as its proven in site's analsis. Camera Quality was one of the most important things for me while choosing mobile. Photo shooting is really great with Mi 9T. I tried several shootings in different light conditions and angles. In my opinion its camera performance is definitely better than A50 or A70 cameras; possibly very close to flagship performance. At the end I would like to say that; I’ve made my choice through this site while getting my new mobile and I am so satisfied. I would like to advise the same for all of you who think to get a new mobile in this price range. I am sure you will no be disappointed. If you have any question or concern, please ask and I may try to support.

  • The phone on my normal use can last me the whole day. now let's be real your question is kinda weird. What do you consider "normal use"? You can check the number of hours you use an app and the amount of battery usage on your own.

  • You can go for XIAOMI Note 8 Pro then.

  • Try to turn off automatic switching to faster data in settings, it may help.

  • That bug is only on your device .get it checked and service center or re install the operation system.. because I don't have such issue and nobody does .intact this is the first time and hearing of this issue ..Mi9t has some issues but not WiFi connectivity

  • i m using the global version and i have some serious annoying bug, the internet connection is stupidly unstable on wifi even tho other phones in the same room are working fine, for exemple if i play cod or pubg i keep getting network error every 2,5 minutes so i m wasting more time waiting for it to reconnect to the server then playing, or when i try to download big files that takes like 10 minutes i can t cause it keeps pausing and i have to restart it manually, this is driving me nuts it is very annoying to see such a huge bug in a well built phone, i m really disappointed in xiaomi this thing is a piece of trash and i'm getting rid of it for a real phone like a galaxy s9 or even an a70.

  • Please any one knows about the battery life of mi 9t I'm a new user for the phone and it's unable to maintain the battery life for 24 hours, only for 20 hours..in normal using conditions..please kindly any one can help me to know about that this is normal or abnormal condition

  • Nobody knows no official news

  • Thanks, we will probably jump straight to miui 11.

  • Xiaomi Mi 9T or OP6 T who has a better Amoled display who has a better video camera, and who has a longer software upgrade essentially who is a better cell phone. It would cost me OP6T 292 Euros and a Mi9T 308 Euros on subscription.

  • No

  • Is call recording in the standard dialler working on the Mi 9T?

  • Is this phone capable of wireless charging?

  • If you don’t like MIUI, you can easily root this device and install something like, say, the pixel experience rom or LineageOS.

  • tons of crapware, miui only adds useless unwanted junk

  • It comes with MIUI 10, so the updates will definitely come from MIUI

  • Note 8 pro have bigger screen but it's Ips lcd (mi 9t have AMOLED) Note 8 pro have bigger battery but procesor is 12nm (mi 9t have 8nm procesor) Mp not represent camera quality .Google pixel have 12 mp camera, but it's one of the best :) I suggest u to take mi 9t, it will be great for next 3-4 year (including probably 2 android updates).

  • No update for global ROM your are on the current rom

  • Im really torn between mi9t and redmi note 8 pro... i prefer mi9t amoled, always on, and design i suppose, but on the other hand, note 8 pro, has a bigger display, bigger battery, biger MP camera, and costs less... same configuration with sd slot, and better antutu score.. um really confused...

  • I have it, so it's an amazing phone for the price. And yes, u can do anything u expect with it. In comparation with A70, has better performance, no notch, better build quality with a cool design, 3,5mm jack and the battery is equal or a bit better. Or if u want best performance and graphics settings in some games or future games, go with the Pro version.

  • The honor 9x. Also mi cc9. Check them out.

  • Guys, which MIUI versions hou are on? Mine is still stuck on 10.3.11, anybidy had some updates? If you are on newer versions could you please list your country?

  • Guys going from a7 2018 to these dude What do you thnik ?

  • Hey guys help me. I'm torn between android one and MIUI. Which is better in terms of performance and smoothness?

  • can u recommend an alternate phone which can beat mi 9t and cost less or lets say costs exactly as mi 9t ?

  • Okay, here is my basic requirement, 1080p AMOLED display, at least 64gb memory, good decent camera, good battery life, good gaming like PUBG on medium-high without any lags and mostly great movie experience as my phone is my basic power house like video recording 1080p 60fps , mostly capturing HD images and then edit them to my preference. Speed in daily tasks is a must for me like instantly replying texts, capturing an image or do a google search. Guys, I am upgrading from iPhone 7plus, cannot afford flagship phones of 2019 and cannot trust used market here as my 7plus was a used bought and it had display dots appear right after the 3 days check warranty anyways, i have thought alot, being a student, at first i considered galaxy A70 but by comparison, this mi 9t looks much better so should i go for it or wait for any other option or get Oppo or any other phone which might full fill my basic requirements ? Please help !

  • This phone can't put sd card.

  • this phone can put a sd card ? or just for 2 sim card

  • I'm not an apple fan but you have gone too fare, mi 9T is NO MATCH for iPhone 11 pro, compare it with flagships and shut up.

  • 9t

  • Yes, these are the prices to extend your 24-month subscription with Tele2 in Croatia. What buying ....

  • DUDE, are you serious. iPhone 11 Pro has lower specs than the Mi 9T and costs 1150€. Mi 9T is only 300€. Apple sucks and I don't see the innovation here. They make good software but their hardware is total trash.

  • higher the price better and faster the electronics . S10 and IphoneXs series cannot be beat. ifyou must ask and too cheap for the best, than Mi 9T is the high end in budget phones

  • This model or redmi note 8 pro? In my country price is 250€ for note 8 pro and 275 for 9t.

  • Well Gorilla glass has its own oleophobic coating.

  • Oleophobic coating not mentioned in official specs on mi.com. However it is in other phones. By this, looks like it's not here, or...

  • Wireless is a nice gimmick but it has a huge loss of energy. (not energy efficient) This phone charges very fast with the adapter inside.

  • do you mean that the screen has oleophobic coating? i didn't know that until i get here.

  • The back is slippery as every glass phone, it comes with a very thin case that makes it a pleasure to handle. The oleophobic coating is very good, but the phone has only a month old so I can't comment on it's durability.

  • On antutu (performance on paper at least) Nova 5T is better, but Mi 9T has better and bigger display, no hole in display, 3.5mm jack and a better battery. I recommend Mi 9T or the Pro version if u can afford, has even better performance than Nova 5T.

  • which better overrall mi9t or huawei nova 5t

  • Not true.

  • Are you sure OnePlus 6t is that amount ??

  • What to take from these three phones, the Xiaomi Mi9t 308 euro Oneplus 6T 292 euro Samsung S10e 454 euro and why .....

  • Is this phone`s back very slippery? What about the oleophobic coating, is it of high quality or??

  • Alright! I got a major improvement when activating hi-res sound. Maybe it depends on which headphones you have. Im only using the 3,5 mm when listening to music. Talk/calls I use bluetooth headset.

  • I haven't noticed any difference with hi-res sound on and off when listening to music, although it strangely improves call quality on Viber (But makes it a tad bit quieter too) when using headphones. With Mi sound enhancer sound is richer and louder, but it can't fix intermodulation distortion or stereo crosstalk (Besides, it sounds fine with it turned off too).

  • Im not sure Gsmarena have tested the enhanced sound while using the 3,5 mm jack. In the settings you can enrich the sound two times which makes the sound very deep and accurate. With good over-ear headphones you get a big difference using these settings.

  • I havent experienced wireless charging yet. Can you explain whats the biggest advantage with wireless compared to wired charging?

  • Speaker is actually one of the best (reaching 50db at 160hz as shown in Notebokcheck's review - not many phones have this strong bass). Headphone sound is really perfect, no idea why GSMarena's test is showing such poor results, but i haven't heard any quality problems. No distortions, no artifacts, no weird sounding stereo. It's not the loudest if you use a regular player, but with Jetaudio sound is really loud. Bluetooth, i haven't tried, but if i'm not mistaken, loudness and quality on Bluetooth depends almost entirely (With the exception of codecs supported by the phone) on the bluetooth device.

  • no wireless charging? almost a perfect smartphone :(

  • Decent sound with bluetooth headphones. Its a single speakers mening its not that Good as dual speakers but still decent. I recommend using the 3,5mm jack. Xiaomi have an improved soundquality while using that.

  • This phone is amazing, its worth every $ you pay.

  • yep, it supports USB On the go.

  • No. You cannot. 960fps zone appears on marked turning wheel section.

  • sure you can

  • Hi, can i use a USB-OTG?

  • Is the sound any good? thru bluetooth and speakers?

  • Can mi 9t record more than 10 seconds in 960fps? It stops recording after 10 secs and that is so frustrating. Is it possible to control what part of video is in slowmo? Any other app for recording in 960fps?

  • Thanks. Strange they still haven't updated in 9T though. Wonder why. AFAIK they did in other Mi phones.

  • You can use the OLED saver app, it's essencially "DC dimming".

  • love this phone. the software is a little clunky but once configured it runs quite well. the hardware is really good for the price, a beautiful phone, no awful notch or hole punch, full screen real estate

  • the best phone ever, I really enjoy to use that and it works smooth and nice.

  • It can be removed { Recorder --> Settings --> Lock screen notifications (turn it off) }

  • Still no DC dimming ?

  • Xiaomi please please make a USA variant with band 12 and 17...regular Mi 9 has no headphone jack :(

  • Everythings good, battery better than most of smartphones, but 2 issuses: No long exposure in superwide and tele x2 lenses. Moreover, when I start record in soundrecorder and put app in bagground I see useless and irritating bright blue notofication "tap to back to recorder". It is impossible to turn it of in settings and permissions.

  • Super Amoled is just another word for same technology as Amoled. There is no difference in day-to-day use.

  • I have never used wireless charge but maybe you can explain what's the biggest advantage compare to wired charging?

  • S9 is not better when it comes to features/value.

  • Sadly, no, you can't wirelessly charge this device.

  • Is it Qi (wireless charging) compatible?

  • No it does not come with a screen protector.

  • Nope

  • Does it come with a pre applied screen protector just asking

  • Please use an S9 before writing such comments. S9 is a flagship, obviously better than this.

  • It has to be a fight for supremacy between my 9 lite and 9t.

  • finally, Augmenter reality on the mi 9t. 😆😆 Cool effectts.

  • Just get GCam; it makes any smartphone camera wayyyyyyyyyy better.

  • On paper, the s9 is better, but the software sucks imo so I’d go for the 9T.

  • They’re both manufactured by Samsung. Super Amoled may reflect less light/consume less battery, but Amoled still is really good; it’s loads better than ips lcd, at least.

  • But I read on some websites that SUPER AMOLED consumes less battery and reflects the light less than AMOLED.

  • I see, Thanks.

  • Does mi 9t and s10e have the same price?

  • Mi 9T (not pro) or Galaxy S9. Which one should I buy and why?

  • what is screen recording? how can i use it?

  • Mi 9T or Samsung S10e and why ..... Is the Mi 9T Pro worth € 100 more just because of a slightly stronger CPU that's the only difference isn't it. Does anyone have the Mi 9T and its recommendations for or against .....

  • There's various information about these phones' screens on the internet and GSMA might not be correct, too. IMO they are same and probably this one isn't Super. Means K20/Mi 9T AMOLED and Pro phones have SUPER. They're all good though.

  • "AMOLED" and "SUPER AMOLED" are, basically, the same thing. The main difference is the manufacturer.

  • It boosts the sound nicely so you can get bass with any music player and any earphones. It has a DAC inside you see. Look for Sound Enhancer in settings. I have it on permanently. Audiophiles may want to leave that off I guess. I'm kind of a bass guy.

  • Guys, it's not SUPER AMOLED? cuz on the Chinese version(K20), display is mentioned SUPER AMOLED. Aren't these phones the same?

  • using since a couple of weeks now, really impressed by its display, battery life, optimal performance and build quality,,, Selfi cam is pretty good but rear cam is not up to the mark..

  • I think because of heat as it heat up really fast with 4g.

  • Am getting 8hrs with 4g . sometimes 9 hrs. Check if your phone is entering deep sleep .if it is not disable apps that auto start

  • Sot with 4g can get 6h and around 20 percent remain. (No gaming)

  • 1. I'm not sure may be different in language and Google service. 2. I think it will have long update. 3. It available 55gb. 4. You should test to know which phone is better. I choose mi 9t as in my country don't have realme x. Nokia 8.1 is also good but I prefer s730 in mi 9t. For battery is not good as my previous redmi note 4x. But It can on screen with 6h of watching YouTube and web browsing with 4g and remaining 20 percent ( I'm not gaming).

  • Realme x betrer or K20 ?

  • Try turn off game booster

  • Better than note 9?? Not at all, it is a good midranger put not a flagship

  • Sound quality for listening music with headphones, it's a good phone por audiophile enthusiastic?

  • I have a couple of questions: 1-What's the difference between Chinese version (Redmi k20) and global version (mi 9t)? I mean the software differences. 2-How're the updates and software support in general? 3-how much storage is available in the 64gig version? 4- between realme x, Nokia 8.1 and Redmi k20 which one do you recommend and why? I change phone every 3-4 years so it's important for me that it lasts long. Battery life is very important too. Almost always either wifi or data is on.

  • Very snappy software. Wonderful screen. Bang on camera. Very nice fast chargin. Extremely stylish look. Comes with a hard case, which mutes a style a little bit. Very good network reception. Impressed

  • best and top midrange 2019...good battery life, good camera, top notch processer, excellent built quality, better than samsung a80/note 8/note 9 ... I'm telling you the truth ..go for it

  • All phones gave problems we don't have other options. There is no reliable brand. Just google samsung problems, huawei problems, nokia problems...

  • Xiaomi also has lots of problems. But don’t take my word for it. Just Google xiaomi problems

  • I would go for the Mi 9T since it's newer, has a bigger battery, and it will get more updates. Note 8 is still a great phone since it was once a flagship phone with perks too like water resistance, better build quality but it's 3 years old at this point

  • Depends what you wil use your phone for. Tell is a bit more about your thoughts and we might have better answer for you. :)

  • Then you are using a faulty device Go get that checked

  • Mi 9T or Galaxy note 8? can you guys help me to figure it out?

  • Which is better mi 9t, Nokia 8.1 or mi A3

  • My Xiaomi 9T is overheating with lot of games

  • *bad

  • He means that MIUI is vad so he won't buy this device.

  • I have no problems what so ever with the Bluetooth om my Mi 9t. Maybe you got a bad copy. Bluetooth on Mi 9t is actually more snappier than my previous on Huawei.

  • Used this phone for a week, previously was using Mi A3 for a few days. This will be my opinion/rant. Includes after sales service review. Generally all is fine as a phone. You can take calls. You can get on wifi. BUT. they have been having a bluetooth problem across most xiaomi phones worldwide (y'all can search up bluetooth issues xiaomi, a lot will pop up) . And it has been here for a seriously long time, yet no one is interested enough to fix it. Secondly, and MOST IMPORTANT . Especially singapore buyers. MI DOES NOT PROVIDE 1 TO 1 EXCHANGE. You're better off with oppo with a 30 day 1 to 1 policy. after sales service was horrendous. Bad policies and they just leave it as that. No changes done. And no proper head office. Emails written in will not be replied. Really bad. Please do consider your options. Originally a RN7 user, which experienced worse bluetooth problems.

  • Is it me that when you lower you screen brightness to 10% ish ..the black shift to dark grey became slow or delay ...it very visible of you do in the dark place with zero brightness Or this is common amoled problem?

  • No... Samsung and Tencent make AI and other game...not pubg... Samsung make partner with fornite.

  • Because Samsung and Tencent (pubg company) are business partners. and samsung phones are best choice for playing pubg. Pubg has forced limitation on mid-range phones of other brand in resolution of the game.

  • What do you mean?

  • When it comes to few preinstalled apps (only 4) I cant wish for more. In that sense it feels more like stock compared to Samsung for example.

  • MIUI isn't bad, just slap CPL on and get a Pixel icon pack.

  • MUI is the reason I am not touching this phone.

  • MUI is nothing even remotely near stock android . Try a OnePlus and see....

  • is this made in china only

  • *One Ui

  • I have a note 9, and I like one hi, accept for the icon shapes. I hate squircles lol

  • Yes.

  • Do this Mi 9t camera have macro mode ??

  • First of all, thaks to all of you for your timeand feedbacks. I bought the phone last week. All that I am going to say is that I am delighted. Perfect battery, great cameras, super fast. This is my first Xiaomi phone so there are some things that I need to get used to

  • Do MI 9T camera have macro mode ??

  • No adds in Mi 9t. And my 9t came with only 4 apps installed. Nearly stock android which made me very happy.

  • for now yes, since this is just a new chipset, wait until the next major patch in Mobile Legends and HFR will be there. for now advanced server in ML already had High Frame Rate,

  • All Honor 9x series have pop up cams,so where did u get ur own version from?

  • SOT with only using data connection ?

  • It doesn't have hdr and extreme fps in pubg and mobile legends doesn"t support this device on high frame rate mode

  • Redmi k20 doesn't show ads

  • Blindly hating one UI, seems that you are jealous that it is better than MIUI. Back with crappy touchwiz, yes samsung phones used to be laggy. But with oneUI no lag no hang ;)

  • It reaches 400 megabits/s in my country, which is the maximum speed carrier have to offer, so no worries, as long as you're in Europe - career aggregation works properly.

  • I want to buy Mi 9T but Redmi K20 show ads in many stock applications. Mi 9T is the global version of Redmi K20. Does Mi 9T also show ads in the stock applications?

  • Seriously? No kidding?

  • It is one ui is shit

  • mi 9t much better

  • It isn't laggy, use one then say your nonsense.

  • Cat 15

  • A50 is laggy plastic phone, and this is durable glass beast. SD730 is even better than Kirin 970 in P20.

  • I have both phones and I totally agree with you. The comparison is just absurd. The Mi 9t has far more "flagship" characteristics than A50 and should be compared with S10 of s10+ in the aspect of value/features.

  • Your A50 was a faulty unit, mine has a long battery life and I'm happy with it.

  • Almost is not the same ..and I have used both devices .I actually sold my A50 because of the battery life .I don't know if Samsung have fixed that now .but to me the Mi9t is where better ..and on YouTube they did the test with A50 and a70 and you won't believe the Mi9t lasted and hour more longer than the a70

  • If you don't mind using mtk chipset then go for it .just have it in mind that your phone might not get android updates

  • I saw one, mi 9T lasted longer because the brightness was lower. Also, GSMarena gave A50 98h of rating while mi 9T got 100h of battery rating, the test was automated by smartviser so you can't say these results are inaccurate. Almost the same battery life.

  • i have two option mi 9t 6/128 or redmi note 8 pro i cannot decide between this two

  • Mi9t is better than A50 in every aspect.its even better than the a70

  • They don't have same battery life ..not at all if you don't own the Mi9t check YouTube for battery drain test before commenting what you don't know

  • Developers problem

  • Use gfx tool to force HDR 60FPS, it's buttery smooth. Always open game with gfx tool. Problem fixed. :)

  • Mi 9T is faster and has a better camera than A50, both have same battery life. If you like xiaomi devices and their UI, get mi9T, but if you want to save some money get A50, it is cheaper. It is your choice after all. (I use A50, please mi users don't flood me with bash/hate comments, peace ;) )

  • Is it a device(MI 9T) problem or developers problem?

  • Need to ask pugb developers that question my pes 19 plays on high resolution on 60 FPS on the Mi9t while on a50 it can only play on standard resolution on 60fps

  • Guys i am very interesing in buying MI 9T or SAMSUNG A50. But i have a question. Antutu bench marks - (9T > A50) Graphics bench mark - (9T > A50) But in pubg play - 9T supports HD graphics & HIGH frame rate while A50 supports HDR graphics & ULTRA frame rate.( I got it from Zeibiz youtube channel) Why 9T only supports HD graphics & high frame rate? & which should i buy? I want better performance, better cameras & better battery life.

  • I want to know in network speed this phone use cat what? Ex: cat6/cat12

  • It is. But the proversion is even better.

  • You got the 128gb version also not enough if you like this. Why would you save movie that much? Delete after watch or transfer to your pc. Lol

  • is this phone good for gaming purposes?

  • I mean, performance on both are comparable to that of a 2017 flagship, though the HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset used in the 9x slightly outperforms the Snapdragon 730 chipset used in the Mi 9T, but it’s a minuscule difference, so I doubt you’d see any differences performance wise on both. The only caveat with the 9x, though, is the screen. Sure, both the 9T and 9x use Full HD+ panels, the 9x uses an lcd panel with a cutout for the camera on the top left of its display. The Mi 9T, however, vastly outclasses the scream used on the 9x. It’s notchless, as it uses a pop-up camera, and it uses an AMOLED panel, meaning that colors are a lot more punchy, blacks are more deep, and sunlight legibility is much better too. Basically, you should go for the Mi 9T, or wait for 9T pro to come out.

  • Selfie camera is bland, though not as bad as MKBHD made it out to be. Now, the rear facing cameras are pretty good.

  • Helo mi9t users,i just want to know this mi9t is good for social media and streaming?im not a gamers, just surf socmed and watch movie..and love snap pic,how long that popup camera can work? Does storage is enough with sdcard? Thanks

  • I used to have that problem..my device even refuse to sleep .and it will get hot when I play games .until I wiped the phone now I have no such heating issue

  • This phone always get hot when playing game ofcos...and camera for 7 minutes???

  • Not for me. Check settings.

  • Is it me or is the 9T's vibration motor crazy weak?

  • It works for certain video shooting modes/cameras. See Mi 9T review here for detailed info which modes and quality. (if you have phone check out shooting modes options)

  • You don't own mi 9t you wont know it...i own both mi 9t (for gaming) and a50 (for social). Mi 9t has 218,625 antutu beachmark score and a50 has 146,355. For my impression mi 9t has better camera/low light camera, performance, battery screen. Who is the success company that create in display fingerprints scanner (work) first?...and who company that success create folding display (WORK)...CHINA. I love both samsung and xiaomi...and that why they create 108mega pixel ;-)

  • The camera is excellent both day and night photos (stock and gcam). I can only compare to Samsung A50 and there is a huge difference. Mi 9t has better details and is faster. The autofocus on A50 is real crap and its easy to get blurry photos.

  • It's main camera , is pretty good .The secondary camera are ok . It takes great photos and videos but yeah if you want to improve selfie quality for example then gcam is a must . The Mi 9 gcam app is perfect for this phone

  • how to activate the EIS? is it automatically running or do i have to set it on?

  • 9T camera for low light settings is VERY good. Best I have seen.

  • Sorry if I bother but if you have time and read discussion here you'll learn most of it or all. Users might want to answer anyway.

  • I am very interested in buying Mi 9t (I am using Samsung up to now). I have read about battery, processor and stuff like that. So, I would like to ask Mi 9t users about camera. Are you satisfied with photos (day, night - I am not fan of selfies), could Mi 9t use Gcam(probably yes, but I have to ask) and is this camera better then on for example Samsung or Huawei midrange phones? Thanks in advance

  • Has EIS

  • Have image stabilation

  • I mean Mi A3 Pro in comment below

  • As you said before, chipset is the same and I never heard about any difference in speed (wouldn't make sense) so they must be the same. There are some things not in GSMA specs, though. Like 9X Pro has cooling so it may be also heavier ... Let's hope makers won't keep people wait too long this time. They say Xiaomi will release Note 8 for global quite fast too (must compete with 9X etc.) so we might see all those new phones and learn all information about the end of september ... estimated. Though 9X is out for some time now, GSMA gonna likely make a review of global version so we are still waiting. Realme not in my area so no reviews to read now, at least fall will be interesting though (Note 8, 9X/Pro global, Mi 9T Pro, and Mi A3 might appear too).

  • Ok but is there any difference in speed in the 9x and 9x pro

  • Right. It was meant faster than Mi 9T (K810 VS SD730 overall). I compared 9X VS 9T and then again 9X Pro VS 9T separately.

  • I meant the 9x pro to the 9x

  • How is it faster it uses the same processor

  • Simple and the only one answer does not exist. Depends on your needs and preference. 9X is cheaper, faster, has bigger screen. Mi 9T has better screen quality and camera. 9X Pro (more direct rival to Mi 9T) is faster and has bigger screen. Mi 9T has better screen quality. These are just key differencies, there are some more of them here (like scanner, charging, software, SD card, cooling etc). Make a choice yourself. (And try to use a phone instead of an apple, it's way easier :) )

  • Very true . It has very bad network reception

  • Chill, fingerprint scanner became fast after august update, UI is not laggy, no problem in network reception, and no battery drain, it lasts same with mi9T. Please use an A50 before writing this.

  • If Samsung cared more about their A-series they would have put more of "flagship characteristics" in the serie. Because that is what other brands does. Their midsection coming closer to flagshipsection but Samsungs doesnt.

  • There is nothing quality in a50 only problems, issues and fanboys. It has slow fingerprint sensor one of the worst network reception and battery drains fast and laggy software.

  • Mi 9t is way better.

  • So Boys? Mi 9T Or Honor 9X?

  • Please be realistic, samsung does care about their A series, even the cheap A30 is receiving regular updates, and A50 is getting monthly updates. Note: I'M NOT BASHING Mi 9T, so don't flood me with hate comments, both A50 and mi 9T are good phones.

  • No you can check A50 test on you tube to see what i say .

  • Bcoz people want quality so they prefer A50 .

  • Both almoled screen, 9t sd 730>>>>dont know exynos 9xxx, full screen display, front and back camera 9t>>a50, new underdisplay fingerprint, and I don't have idea why people prefer a50 LMAO

  • Only in your dreams

  • For gaming ?

  • Galaxy A50 for sure

  • Galaxy A50 or Mi 9T (Redmi K20)? Why?

  • Check A50 . It is better than 9T .

  • Does the Mi Mix 3 Screen Protector Works on This? And Is this phone getting “Android Q” Im gonna get it please leave your suggestions.

  • I would go for Mi 9T because Xiaomi give their phones love and care and thats more than Samsung does. Samsung doesnt care about their A-serie, its the Galaxyserie that matters for them. For Xiaomi the Mi 9-serie means everything. As long as Xiaomi not going the same route as Huawei you dont have to worry about the future.

  • well.... they are on always, but not with display on,you have to wake them... so idk.. plus its new model.. must been in store for max 1 month... ,.,already burnt in?

  • Dem , I play pubg for around 30 - 45 minute and this phone have heating issue , but no lag , does my phone is defective product?

  • guys please help I can't decide whether to take the 9t or a70 I prefer samsung's oneui over 9t's software but love 9t's cameras also it might be stupid I'm worried about 9t's longevity since it's a chinese phone...

  • Oh look, no dead pixels called in display camera and no stupid curved display. Samsung really lost me with these unpractical design features that never made sense.

  • @Mrjules Store phones always run in "demo mode" where screen brightness is always jacked up to the maximum and running 24/7 so its probably already damaged or burnt in.

  • Yep, the abysmal speakers of non-flaghip galaxys is a typical example of that. Makes me physically sick, there's zero chance i'd buy one of their mediocre overpriced POS. Especially now when they are starting to remove 3.5mm jack even from A-series.

  • Hi! I don't have that on mine MI 9t. It might be a bug in the webbrowser or a bad copy.

  • Hello! I've tried the mi9 t in a store and in Google Chrome address bar the fonts looked fuzzy, pixelated, with a slight glow around font edges.... Is that normal for this type of amoled or it's a bug of screen/software?

  • And do you know why its better? I know. Samsung but less effort in their midsection with A50, A70 and A80 than Xiaomi do with their MI 9-serie. For Samsung its more important with the Galaxy-serie. But for Xiaomi the MI 9-serie is most important. Do you want a phone that a company dont give a shit about like Samsung or do you want a phone that gets the love and care like Xiaomi?

  • I would choose MI 9t over the ones you mentioned. But it all comes down to what you want to do with your phone and personal preferences.

  • Ron you might want to read again. I didn't say Xiaomi is as popular as any other brand. I said if Xiaomi had the same marketbudget as Samsung and could reach out in every corner of the earth Xiaomi would have been more popular. That's common sense since Xiaomis phones have better performance/value/money. The lack of recognition of the brand makes Xiaomi still an underdog.

  • This is better than even a70 so you know which to buy

  • I disagree. Xiaomi isn't as popular as the other competitors but more and more people are recognizing the brand because it offers quality budget phone.

  • Assist me guys this phone or huawei 30 lite or huawei honor p20?

  • Guys this or a50.. For better camera and display i need pls help

  • MI 9t I would say.

  • On Tmobile, Band 12 basically provides better cell connectivity inside of buildings and rural areas.

  • What is better Mi 9T or the Samsung A80 I have no problem with no sd card and headphone jack. And is the Samsung A80 Overpriced.

  • Ok. Mi 9t has better camera build quality no notch better software faster fingerprint sensor beats it in battery life(even whith smaller battery) and better performance A70 has better slfie camera and micro sd slot.

  • It's popular because of the brand not because it's a good phone. If Xiaomi had the same marketbudget and had reached out to every corner of the earth the MI 9t would definitely be more popular. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's a good phone. Most customers don't know what they are buying and aren't interesting in researching before they purchase. Those buyers are the typical customer of A50. Those like me that spend 6-12 months researching before buying a phone will always get a better phone than A50 and always for a better price. It all comes down to interest and passion.

  • Can you explain what band 12 is for?

  • I have no screenprotector on my MI 9t. The protection that comes with the phone is more than enough for me. I'm not sure what you are suppose tyo use the phone for but if you are normal user you won't need any extra screenprotection.

  • Hi, which are the best cases for this phone on Amazon?

  • How can i get a screen protector for it? And is it good? I have no problem with the SD card. Please give me your opinions and how can i get a screen protector for the xiaomi mi 9t.

  • He never said that it was the best. This is how arguments start. The A50 is the most popular mid-ranger, even check the left side of this website. The 9T would be a way better phone if it supported Band 12. It already has custom ROM support and treble, so that's the only box left to tick.

  • No, A70 costs same as mi 9T, so compare to A70 please.

  • They are comparing mi 9t to a50 because they have the same price and a50 is the a very popular phone at this price

  • The most popular doesn't mean the best

  • The most popular midranger is A50. Facts

  • If this had Band 12, this would definitely be mid-ranger of the year.

  • Stop comparing Mi 9T with A50 is the nearest device in specification is A80 and Mi 9T is a better than in some places and low price

  • Xiaomi is famous for delivering phones with flagship characteristics and that's what it should be compared for. Xiaomi Mi 9t happened to have a price that no other mobile manufacturers can match, doesn't mean it has to be compared to phones not matching the characteristics.

  • Stop comparing mi 9T to A80, A80 is the only overpriced A device. His real competitor is A70, both are in same price range. And by comparing your beloved mi 9T to A50, he is not being insulted , the gap between them is not that big, and can be explained by the price gap.

  • Are you crazy ??.... By comparing A50 with Mi 9T , you are insulting 9T. A80 is the competitor of 9T, but you can buy 2 Mi 9T in the price of A80 😂😂😂

  • Redmi note 7 better than A50? What???? Both have same performance, A50 has a sAMOLED display, 3 cams instead of 1+ UFS 2.1 storage instead of eMMC flash... Please don't hate blindly, use common sense.

  • Hey bro, I have A50, please don't write nonsense, it is good, but not better than mi 9T (mi 9T is more expensive, not even comparable to A50).

  • No you are wrong . Go and see tests on youtube between them to see how A50 beats 9t . A50 is much more better than 9t .

  • A50 has a very poor 4g network I used both the mi9t and A50 with my 4g network and on A50 it was like it was on 3g network and both of them where on 4g plus with the same network provider..infact in my area with A50 I don't get 4gplus it changes to H .. while on mi9t it's on 4g plus full network bar with the same network provider.people using A50 who use 4g network are really suffering they don't know what that are missing

  • It's more powerful the CPU is on the same level in sd845. You should compare the phone to redmi note 7 pro and even realme X not mi9t they are on a different level ..a80 is compared to mi9t not A50 to mi9t it does not make any sense .

  • Speaker and display too. Seriously, these two guys are totally desperate either because they are jelous or are really paid by Samsung. Facts and reviews are xlear. We should stop paying attention to these clowns.

  • If you use your smartphone for more than one year or if you play games exynos 9610 isn't enough. Pop up camera is way better than notch. Camera battery life build quality fp sensor network reception... are way better in mi 9t than a50

  • A60 is overrated even redmi note 7 is better than a50

  • Mi 9t is way better than a50

  • Go and see tests between them to see how much powerfull is A50 . A50 beats 9t . And 9t has nothing compared to A50 .

  • I compare Mi 9T to A50, because sammy fanboy is telling that A50 is better than Mi 9T, which isn't true. About pop-up camera, I don't make selfies so for me it's better that it is hidden.

  • First, not that much more powerful, the average user will less likely notice this difference. Secons, Mi 9T costs same as A70 and you compare it with A50? By the way most users doesn't need more than the power of exynos 9610. P.S: Mi 9T has popup camera, vulnerable to problems over time, while A50 doesn't have it.

  • Mi 9T is much more powerful than A50. You can check, for example

  • Yeah, and in A50 I will get much worse CPU and GPU, crap fingerprint scanner and build quality and bad camera.

  • In your dreams

  • What displayed on MIUI AOD ? Is it display notification from apps? About to buy A50 but IDFingerpint scanner a bit slow even we could tweak it a little.

  • Go for A50 . Thats a better phone than this .....

  • we want dedicated memory slot and 5000 mahs battery with same specifications

  • I read the article back then, it was about a software update for note 4 that caused slowdown, and samsung was fined for that. Only note 4 was victim of this, but everything else is fine, so don't generalise.

  • Just read in google articles (Samsung Lied About Not Using Updates to Slow Down Older Phones). Apple slowing phones with updates too. Samsung was fined for doing that.

  • Who told you that samsung makes phones slower by updates? It is apple not samsung. I have my samsung tab from 3 years, received 2 major updates and still same speed.

  • I have to admit this phone is faster than Samsung10e . I didn't try on s10+ but it's faster than note 9 which both cost more than 9t. The screen is absolutely gorgeous . Try to see the difference in sunlight and you'll be impressed by 9t and really disappointed on s10e /note 9 The battery on my s10e and note 9 is a really bad joke compared with this phones battery. And by the way: not dual apps and call recording on Samsung ? Who want to buy my s10e and note 9 keep me informed.

  • And am taking about real life usage not benchmark.check the k20 Vs the k20 pro real life usage

  • You know which is better if you buy A50 buy at your own risk .if it's money buy the realme x

  • I didn't say it was the same but It can be compared to it .the difference is small ..but please do not compare A50 to mi9t you may be a fan of Samsung but say the truth..

  • Can you tell me what is better? 9T model scores 210K points in antutu while A50 scores only ~145K points. Also samsung release updates which makes your phone slower due "battery wear out".

  • Not same speed with s10+ check benchmarks dude.

  • No dont waste your money on this weak phone . Go and buy A50 samsung . Thats much more better than this .......

  • Performance on the same level with Samsung flagship level but if you play game .it plays it smooth but may heat up if you put it in extreme settings.cameria is also fantastic.and you he fingerprint print is fast it even unlocks with wet hands .watch YouTube for videos on it

  • Uhm I'm about to buy this phone. Please someone tell me how about it spec, performance and camera

  • I don't have the time to argue with you.its your money . But the benchmark scores says everything if you don't believe the benchmark score then you are on your own .

  • So 9610 is more powerful than sd730? Even sd675 beats it .and don't even mention sd710 or 712 before you mention the 730..you are a joker

  • A50 is the best mid_ranger in the world now. Mi9t has nothing compared to samsung A50

  • Mi9t is not even more powerfull than A50 . Go and see its test on youtube to understand .......

  • The a70 is overpriced. The mi9t is more powerful than both the a70 and a80

  • Please go and use your A50 and leave this phone alone .this phone has the same speed with s10plus you are comparing it to a50

  • I can't see any way to enable PIP on 9T . I've got YouTube premium and it's not working . I hear only sound not video in my phone . Anyone with this problem?

  • It's not better even in terms of display, it's darker. Samsung must have sent some paid trolls to advertise this mediocre POS.

  • I was talking about the Mi 9T pro having bad battery life and heating, not the 9T.

  • It is not a joke test A50 to see what a beast it is ......

  • Because Mi 9T and A70 are almost in this same price range.

  • Nice joke bro. A50 is only better in display and microsd slot.

  • A50 is much more better than this phone . Check it to see what a beast it is

  • Are you sure it supports the 27w charger

  • I have zero overheating problem with my Mi 9t. I got the EU-version btw. Not even while charging the phone it overheats. The charger I use is 18w but the phone itself support faster chargers. I do recommend to stick to 18w because the faster chargers might overheat the phone. So if you have faster charger switch back to the slower one. There is no difference between the chargers really, maybe you save 10 minutes but thats it.

  • I am using it for a month and none of those you mentioned is true with my phone especially the overheating thing and mediocre battery back up even my data is ON day and night.

  • There is a issue with face unlock. It can be unlock by anyone's face.

  • Or use the money to get a gaming pc

  • Why should it be compared to A70 or compared to a specific model? To be honest you can compare Mi 9t to Samsung Galaxy s10. Unfortunately I dont own a s10 so I can't really tell you the differencies from my own perspective but what I have read and watched on youtube the differencies is very small. For a regular user and for day-to-day work Mi 9t perform as good as the flasgship models like s10, s10+, iphones and so on. When it comes to small areas like gaming, professional photo and videos, bloggers and so on you might want to pay triple/four times price for a flagship. The question I asked myself will I use all these things really? Isnt it better to save 600 euros and go for a vacation instead?

  • A70 is closer to the truth, but still extremely poor speaker and above average standby battery drain.

  • Should be compared to a80 not a70

  • Well, I'm not regretting my choice, nor trying to find something bad about Mi 9T. Both are good, but I prefer A50 one UI over MIUI. By the way Mi 9T should be compared to A70 not A50.

  • Yea i wondered if i've made a mistake not waiting for the Mi9T, but then i saw Notebookcheck's review and it turns out it's overheating all the time and battery life is mediocre, so i'd say the 9T is a very balanced and a better choice. Dual band GPS is a great advantage for the pro, but i'd say not enough to justify less battery, more heat and more money.

  • The Batterylife on Mi 9t is probably the most positive surprise for me so far. With medium usage I easily get 3 days batterylife. With more heavy usage I get 1,5 to 2 days batterylife.

  • Yep, at least if your're in Europe (ROM is different and also what you get depends of the region you chose in settings) there are no ads or bloatware, just a few apps most of which you can uninstall. Currently the only "bloatware" i have on my Mi 9T is "feedback" app, and "Shareme" (And they don't do anything if you don't use them). As i pointed out earlier, the battery is still at 100% when i wake up (After charging before bed) so no bloatware to drain your battery.

  • Xiaomi UI is wonderful in my perspective. It only had 4 installed apps and looked more like android stock than samsungs UI. Even more convenient to get rid of samsungs useless apps. If you just want a simple UI Miui is good enough. If you are more of an advanced user there might be better UI out there. Ofc Miui can improve but I think Xiaomi do a pretty good work so far considering they are somewhat newcomers on the European market and the low price.

  • A50 has one of the worst cameras I have ever tested. The autofocus is a nightmare. Most of the pictures were blurry and there is so much noise. Xiaomi do a better work here with their software and ofc the sony camera is a very good basemodel. Even in low light I experience a lot better pictures on Mi 9t than A50, while using gcam and stock. I also belive the Mi 9t shows more realistic colours than the A50.

  • How's the camera quality compared to the Mi 9's, equall or?

  • A50 user is obviously salty about his poor choice and is desperately trying to find some argument against 9T and convince himself how bad it is (And mostly, how good his mediocre phone is).

  • Re: SAR I am in the process of upgrading from an old Samsung phone, model SGH-Z170. According to Samsung's website it emits 0.301 (head), 0.764 (body). Source: This is quite low, but I get a headache after talking on it. The headache can last several hours and is reproducible. The longer I talk on it, the worse the headache. For example a 30 minute conversation recently left me with a 5 hour headache. Talking on my landline has never given me a headache, even long 30+ minute conversation, so I think it might be the phone radiation. I have used this EMF meter to measure radiation while talking But it reports nothing. However it reports elevated levels of RF on my cordless landline phone (which I no longer use) and also from my 802.11n wifi routers (which I have solved by setting them to low transmission power). My solution is to use speakerphone on the Samsung, and not hold it against my head. Because the Samsung has a low SAR rating, maybe SAR isn't very meaningful, and we should avoid holding the phone against the head regardless of SAR. This website makes the same claim: "...if you read my article on SAR rates, you’ll understand why they are a truly horrible measure of how dangerous cell phones are, and why they do almost nothing to protect us from these dangers." Source: So my rule is, regardless of the phone, I will always use speakerphone or external headset. Also according to this website, Samsung is not a more ethical company than Xiaomi: For me personally, red dot on "human rights" or "animal welfare" is a dealbreaker. I think red dot on human rights means Congo child labour, but I'm not sure because the details are behind a paywall. I haven't bought anything yet, but leaning heavily towards Mi 9T with speakerphone or external headset.

  • Ok thanks

  • From all 9T/K20 series only this has higher SAR than others. Wonder why. Maybe used some other parts which cause it (sometimes). Though it doesn't necessarily mean much, looks worse in specs.

  • I agree with you that minimim radiation exposure is better, but you got it completely wrong assuming that a lower SAR phone will emit lower radiation on average in normal use. Please read this article of the FCC regarding SAR:

  • Not offended at all (as long arguments are used it's O.K.). Well full-value answer takes too much time (I mean go through ALL that information thoroughly) so maybe some other time? For now, I don't deny it's better to have low SAR than high but that value was measured under specific conditions which might not apply to every user. You cannot say one takes this and other takes that much RF energy just by using this or that phone unless you do tests of concrete user and phone. So not like "X times more". Actually the best SAR is no SAR, lower or higher emitting so you can't avoid it completely if using phone. Of course it's better to have low SAR phone though. (like A50 -as for low radiation at least :) ...well I quite like it overall) And if you call this "microwave" then you should call S10 siries same since they are above safe limit you mention here (such expensive device, it's a shame). BTW if you have link about some serious long-term studies which prove health impact I'd take a look (seriously).

  • Ok,lets end this useless debate in a friendly way: Mi 9T is a decent phone I know, but I think xiaomi should work on making better UI and lower SAR. Meanwhile, A50 has both good UI and low SAR, but should bump performance a bit more. (exynos 9610 is fine for me) (Sorry If you felt offended or smth, the end of day samsung and xiaomi doesn't care about us, but about our money)

  • First, I didn't bash mi 9T, second, my usage doesn't need more than a SD 660 equivalent. (Ok I say MIUI is crap just an opinion)

  • I read A50 notebookcheck review, they didn't say A50 has standby drain, and for GPS, they said it is good for general navigation tasks. Anyway why I'm bothering to post in the land of mi extreme fanboys, enjoy your mi 9T but don't come to bash A50...

  • Yep. Samsung phones are POS. A look at Notebookcheck's reviews will confirm what i said about A80 (Dark screen, abysmal speaker and heating) and what you said about A50 (High standby battery drain and again heating. And again abysmal speaker as is the case with any non-flagship from Samsung). Just took a look and noticed A50 also has useless GPS. Samsung fans are so delusional they might be worse than Apple fans.

  • Mi9t display is better check anywhere they would tell you that

  • A lot of people had that issue to to YouTube and you will see that over a 1000 people commented on that issue .more even commented on the poor 4g network..I will tell you this I am a Samsung fan and the A50 is the most useless Samsung phone Eva created by Samsung .the issues are just to much .from standby battery drain to phone restarting .to bad 4g network. Phone heating

  • No offence, but you are the one who needs to be educated: Quote from "What is a Safe SAR? Undoubtedly, the safest cell phone that you can use is the one with the lowest SAR. All manufacturers of mobile devices are required by the FCC to meet RF standards and mention the specific absorption rate to consumers. Most experts consider a safe SAR to be anywhere between 0.10 and 0.50."

  • So your telling me Samsung installed a better screen on a rival line than on its own phone, yeah right....

  • Ok you stubborn and won't be convinced. If a minority had some issues you don't have the right do generalise and say that A50 is a bad device. Yours was a defect I feel sorry for you. No matter how much you will hate on A50, this won't deny that it is the most popular phone in europe, and the second most popular one in india. Finally, if in europe for example where 3.2 million A50 were sold, 1000 had defects, this is still 0,03125% failure rate. So please grow up. P.S.:I'm pretty sure you miss oneUI , after switching to crap MIUI

  • I used an A50 so I will tell you it has issues ..go to YouTube and search A50 won't turn on ? Or infant read the comments on any video consigning a50

  • I checked samsung members, barely any compaint, there, only REAL users can write, unlike fake bashers comments.

  • LOL they are delusional. Even A80 is extremely mediocre and can't be compared to 9T. It has abysmal speaker, worse screen (At least 100 nits darker), worse battery life (And runs hotter, which will also degrade battery faster). And of course, no 3.5mm jack.

  • Same A50 owners will still say the A50 is better than the OnePlus 7 pro

  • "High" SAR is probably because it has exceptional reception. This morning i went to the mountain and tried setting it to "LTE only". I lost signal only where even 3G signal (Which is on 900mhz and always stronger, while 4G is on 1800mhz) gives up. Never had this strong reception with any other phone.

  • So nobody complained about 4g issue ? Phone restarting? Fingerprint failure ? Battery drain problem? Infact check youtube you will see all this problems Thier.the fact you don't have it does not mean others don't

  • I strongly recommend everyone speaking about SAR educate oneself first. Because if you don't, most likely you believe and talk nonsense about it. (like one below) (BTW no A50 hater here)

  • Stop writing nonsense, I own A50 and has no problems at all. Enjoy your microwave phone with SAR 5 times higher than A50.

  • I use google cam and have no complaints, picture quality is quite good.

  • And what about the camera quality?

  • No hardware cons, everything works great. Great reception (Cellular and gps. WiFi is a bit wesk though), sound, battery and display. Only cons are some software bugs like media speaker volume and notification volume being connected. I also had problem with OLED saver app forgetting accesibility paermissions and closing. Found a weird solution: Disabled the autostart permission for the app. Not only it still autostarts, but doesn't forget permissions anymore. Another bug is dual apps don't work with custom launcher. Other than that it's rock solid. No auto-reboots, no force-closings, freezing; it works without any major issues. Despite the minor problems i love the phone. I've never seen better reception and loudspeaker. Battery is pretty impressive too.

  • You're delusional. The Mi 9T is comparable to A80.

  • I dont know if you guys are actually playing Mobile Legends in your phone. But if anyone does, do you have the High Frame Rate Option? If yes, how were you able to put yours? Cause mine still doesnt have the said option despite reading online forums and doing everything they said I need to do. :(

  • No problem with the device ..it's fantastic

  • Quite similar but Mi 9 is little better than Mi 9T.

  • Mi 9 or Mi 9t, which one has better camera?

  • what its problem ? i'm about to get mi 9t so plz if there is some cons tell me

  • I own both Mi 9t and Samsung A50 and I can tell you that Mi 9t is a lot faster, has far better picture quality and foremost better autofocus, better buildquality and premium feeling, cleaner UI without samsung apps, better batterylife. The only reason to buy Samsung is if you can't accept anything else than Samsung or are totally obsessed by the brand. I'm a Samsungfan but I have realized that there are better and more affordable phones elsewhere.

  • Nah don't just try you will regret the A50 .it has serious 4g issues. And battery problem.

  • A50 is a better phone over this . Check A50 . Thats really amazing.

  • How's the camera quality?

  • I have had this phone for more than month and I don't experience this issue. You probably got a bad unit. Return it.

  • This one.Better support, better company, more Developer support and Custom ROMs.

  • What problems?

  • Should i choose this one or lg g7??

  • I have the same issue.

  • Bad experience with using WhatsApp camera with flash light.

  • With the problems pocophone have go for this

  • should i get the Pocophone F1 or spend about 25$ (converted) more on this

  • Never faced this problem.

  • Don't have such issue on my device

  • For those who already own this device. I just wanna ask if you ever encountered an error about the selfie cam not popping up? I tried to purchase this device with one of our online stores here but when I read the reviews there's one user complaining about the selfie cam not popping up with the error "Can't calibrate front camera". Anyone who encountered the same issue?

  • Let me tell it better so you do not get me wrong: SAR value shows maximal absorption of radio-frequency energy during testing. Maximal level allowed is set as safe and having no known (so far) health impact by medical experts, testing and so on. This phone does not exceed these limits in both North America and Europe (so you could say globally). This means it's similar and as safe as other phones and you don't have to be afraid using it.

  • Yes it is. I think nobody really knows what is the health impact. As far as I know it was not proven so far (speaking of lower values). There are some limits set which are considered to be safe. This phone's maximal radiation (doesn't happen all the time) does not exceed both European Union and U. S. A. limits. Search this discussion or use Google for more information.

  • The value of the electromagnetic radiation rate is somewhat high. Is there a danger from them and does it cross the global borders or not?

  • Somewhat high. Is there a risk of this value.

  • There are some more important health related problems than sar.

  • Mi9t is better and the sat is not that high

  • Little under my specs and have bigger budget, SAR isn't most important. Not a bad phone at its price point though, I like its weight. Thanks anyway.

  • If you care about having low SAR value check on A50, it is cheaper.

  • Hold both the up and down vol button and power button to force restart. see if this works and also try holding vol down and power button to see if boots to recover. If no joy then sounds like your LCD is faulty if its vibrating but no screen. Could be the battery too if its dead and trying to boot. If you say if its got music playing then its booting but no screen means more LCD issues.

  • How long will it be supported with updates? (Android and security)

  • My mi9t screen won't open for some reason helppp...when I hold power button it only vibrate...and it happen to make some weird music once

  • Will do. Anyway even if I wanted to choose type of screen there's not much choice left any more. OLEDs everywhere. Phones with my specs & LCD just hardly or not exist.

  • What about camera? for low light or day light?

  • Stock camera is bad in low light, but gcam makes pretty decent pics. It's a bit buggy and the mod i'm using often force-closes (Other mods i tested had other problems like non-working EIS even at full hd@ 30fps), but it's worth it.

  • Hello, I am interested in how the Xiaomi MI 9T works, how good the photos taken with the 48MP main camera are, I am particularly interested in night photography and video, or in the photos and videos all the details I think, especially the lighting parts such as captions , lights and the like, and how it's done with just stabilizing photos and videos, because many photos will be done both at night and during the day, so I'm also wondering how it's done together and of course I'm interested in how the sound works while shooting what kind of concert how good is it and what are the problems. How the phone dims automatically and, of course, the battery life itself. I thank everyone for every answer and help.

  • Just remember - an AMOLED screen uses more power for more light produced, so a white wallpaper uses a LOT more battery than a black wallpaper, for the same screen brightness.

  • Thanks for useful posts guys, sounds like more good news about the phone. I've never been using OLED screen for a long time period so kinda interested in quality, PWR flicker etc. So it's good to hear this one is pretty decent and that's why if, this is the one worth start with. (Actually, maybe I wouldn't mind exchange for top quality LCD and lower SAR value but that's just if and maybe I'd change my mind if I experienced it. Also I've seen phones with lower SAR but worse reception though it doesn't mean this is depending directly.) Funny thing is K20 has 'anti-flicker' option (as they told me), so at least it suggests they will update also here. Please if you feel like someone write your opinion about low light daytime shots in a few words. It's known camera does well in good conditions but this is where some opinions differ. That's it for now.

  • if you want a compact phone without headphone jack go for mi9se. go for mi9t for bigger display and battery, headphone jack, notchless display. Camera performance will be mostly equal.

  • mi 9t

  • I bought MI 9 SE and I'm happy with it

  • Mi9 se or mi 9t ?

  • I didn't feel any gegative effects from the PWM either, but just in case i'm using the OLED saver (Doesn't even cause any weird colors, the only downside is maximum brightness is a bit lower than stock auto brightness, but that could be a good thing too - your screen won't suffer burn-in). So far i really like the phone. It has the strongest cellular reception i've seen. Strongest speaker too. Headphone sound is loud and clear. And in standby, with 2 sim cards and WiFi, it didn't lose 10%, it stayed at 100% during the night. Really impressive. No heating too, except with camera usage or 4G downloading (And all 4G modules heat up, it can't be avoided).

  • No DC dimming yet. I think it is available on xiaomi.eu, and they promised to add it to the official firmware in a later update. After reading all the scaremongering, I've been surprised by the screen. I don't notice any flicker even in the middle of the night with the lowest brightness setting, even though I am very sensitive to PWM flicker. No heating issues on my unit, which I have been using for two weeks now. 10% battery per day on idle sounds about right.

  • Hello there! Since this phone is among my top candidates for purchase these days, I like the fact someone wrote more about it (what you surely did ;) ). SAR value was already discussed here. According to that, it seems there's no need to worry anyhow. For more information than I keep in mind myself, put "SAR" into the search field below and then 'Search Opinions'. Battery idle time confirms previous observations 10% daily. Some users experience heating issues both when battery is charging and when SoC has some work to do. So if you could -later- leave a comment about your experience here it could be useful. Secondly I'd like to confirm if there's DC dimming present. It should be in display settings as 'anti-flicker' option. So if you (or someone else) happen to bother take a look I'll be glad. Other than that, I think I already know what I need so that's all from me. Phone's quite good and if not defective unit, everybody likes it.

  • Light for face not flashlight then. My bad :s .

  • To colaborate with all that may have concerns about this device: after a long (long, long, long) quest, I finally chose the Mi 9T as my new buddy for the next two years (minimum). I was considerably hesitant because of the camera (there are so many comments about the fragility of the pop-up camera, and the general quality of images/videos) and processor (how long will it attend my usage before getting "too old"?). As many here may be doing, I watched dozens of videos, read many reviews, accompanied forums etc. Anyway, I ended up buying it, and yesterday it arrived to me. The results come below. 1. The box is compact and simple, but made of resistant material, what transmits certain confidence with what's inside. 2. The phone is beautiful (mine is black), more than you can see in videos or pictures, and while holding it you feel it weights enough for not to be heavy but to give that sensation of "not cheap thing, it was well made". Ah, the back glass loves fingerprints, and to protect it I'd get a case (other than the one that comes together), at least I bought one of my choice. 3. After turning the phone on, in less than two minutes I had a request to update the system. 4. Audio is good, audible and clean, even if not in maximum, at least in a room, for example. (Don't listen to anything without earphones when outside, please.) 5. The screen is beautiful indeed, the brightness was already good and pleasant, and when I noticed, it was only 50%, so imagine! 6. Battery consumed a little fast than I was expecting (10% in one hour) due to updates and primary adjustments, but I imagine it'll get better soon, it was the first usage. Standby consumption was 5% over 12 hours -- accurate test. 7. The cameras satisfied me, both frontal and rear, so giving ears to those many reviews can mess up with your ideas, making you only look for "the best" in terms of camera, but this one will attend you if you are not a pro in photography -- plus, I installed another camera app (most will know what I'm talking about) and it works well too. And the fragility of the pop-up camera is gone after I could touch it myself, and I'm not intending to take it to swimming pools or sandy/dusty areas constantly, and even if I do once in a while, it will be safe, it seems well built. Well, I might be forgetting some details about my former concerns, but once with this phone in hands, they faded away. The only thing that I'm now interested (more than concerned) in is the SAR value. Although some people said (even here in this forum) that it's high, does anyone know if it surpasses the recommended/acceptable limits? Greetings from Brazil! PS: I am updating from a deared Moto Z Play (first generation) that endured three years and was never a headache to me, and I'm satisfied with my new phone.

  • common issue for some is the battery it gets heat when getting charge. but I never encountered the issue, this might be getting fix through software update...

  • Is this phone have any known problems ?

  • No but it uses the display instead

  • For better network

  • Why the SAR value is too high.

  • HFR on mobile legends are not available on this device...

  • How no card slot poor option

  • I was used this phone for a week and it's a very good phone.

  • Is there anti-flicker option in menu? (DC dimming present) Thanks.

  • Me to best phone at the price

  • And that one is used as a flashlight??

  • Front camera hase an LED for notification.

  • Pop-up front camera has am led for notification.

  • being a midrange processor doesn't mean it will not get high frame rate, just like on high end device, this is just a new and on top of the upper mid range chipset, don't troll, you don't even know what you are saying.

  • SD730 is not yet optimized for pubgm but it can play the game smooth 60fps with gfx tool with no fps drops

  • l have mi9t. its very good

  • Quite slippery without any case or even with the free one in the box.

  • There's a LED flash on the back, what else it should use.

  • That's great hear. Thanks mate!

  • I have no overheating problems at all, works way cooler tham my previous Samsung S7 Edge.

  • So you must live somewhere north coz I'm havin about 30 these days :) . Anyway it must be a bit of annoyance to pay for phone and then care if you can even use it... That's something I dom't plan at all. Best way to know in advance if it's okay or use warranty if not. It's a shame coz otherwise phone looks cool. Well I'll see about that.

  • Since there is no led on front, what does this phone use for flashlight?

  • Thanks for that info. Protectors I mean generally not regarding heating - If I could skip or at least reduce case, screen protectors and possibly rely on native protection this time (Gorilla glass)... Phone's looking good and also no need to make it heavier. Common usage.

  • I did removed the protective case, also while gaming. You can sure feel it being hotter than expected if ambient temps are higher that 25°C. Game on 20°C or lower I would say.

  • Today being 20 degrees Celsius, I took the Camera out for a spin again. It gets warmer to the touch but no overheating this time. Happy days. Seems to have 10% battery drain / day on idle just like my old 4X has.

  • BTW guys, using any protectors on this phone?

  • No stop dreaming. It has mid range processor

  • I have no doubts it's a good phone and actually to me pretty optimal 'cause practically has all I want and doesn't have useless things (except maybe IR blaster missing but no need for SD855 and card slot not so necessary). Looks is okay too (I'd probably choose carbon black too :) ). I'd get it from China 'cause of better price so that way I need to make sure first even more if it's okay. Now that heating up: I've seen similar post not only here so it's likely real (LOL not other brand's troll) and someone experienced it. I think either it's software issue (some apps consume CPU power or so) that way it can be solved and those guys need to clean their device good OR some phones are just faulty which would be worse 'cause if that's the case it's a lottery (if person buys good or faulty device). Can't tell which is true, only if someone had that problem before found out reason and wrote about it here would help. So thanks for post, I'll take my time to think and also I'm checking few other new phones (like Honor 9X) or maybe local price of Mi 9T will be better and I'll just buy it here with usable warranty.

  • I got the Mi 9T carbon black version, 6/128gb set up. I'm using the phone quite awhile and never experienced overheating. Battery life is superb. Chipset is pretty fast, one of the coolest phone I've used so far. I don't know why they're complaining about the phone heats up. Maybe those people actually never used the phone at all and just making fun of those who are interested on buying this phone. Tbh, it's a good phone. Overall experience was awesome. I'm satisfied with this device.

  • Will this phone give me 60 FPS in pubg?

  • Nope.. it's dark metallic red

  • Its a good phone for daily usage for gaming or sosial media, but just theres no memory card for this version..with the official price, its ok to own it..

  • So overheating is either just software problem of some users or some units are faulty. Who knows...

  • Haven't noticed any overheating even when playing PUBG for awhile.

  • No ir blaster

  • Is the red model more on the pink side?

  • It seems there's a cooker included instead 'cause too many people experience overheating. Or is this usual for Xiaomi device? But it should NOT overheat at least if there's not very good reason especially when SD730 inside, summer or not. What proves it is that some people say no overheating. So it seems not worth a risk even though otherwise specs fill my needs pretty well.

  • Nope, no IR blaster.

  • does it have IR Blaster for Mi Remote controller app?

  • buy the Mi9SE

  • I own a mi 9t carbon black 6/128GB version Global ROM and based on my observation, I played Mobile Legends and other mobile games like PUBG and there is no heating issue. Im afraid that you guys who experienced it needs to master reset the phone. trust me this device is promising its worth for its price and performance.

  • Heating issues on a SD730 device? That would be a massive fail if true. Are we talking about heat with 4k recording and pubg playing or even normal everyday usage?

  • Is the over heating issues present to every Mi 9T devices. Any answers please since Im planning to get this phone.

  • I want to say that since it heats up a lot when taking pictures, then the camera app which uses the CPU can maybe become more efficient with time and hog the CPU less.

  • Overheating Problems This problem could be there due to blocked apps or data in your device. Check and remove the same Don’t customize the power settings of the device which in some cases tart causing this problem The failure to any of the key hardware components in the phone is another reason to the overheating problem in any device Make sure the device is not having any virus present in the same Do check if the battery inside is creating the actual trouble One of the reasons you are facing this problem is using a power bank which is having different output specifications than what the device needs Check if the charger you are using is of high power or if there is a fault associated to the same The reason you are facing this problem is nothing but a software fault in the phone. You can fix it by updating the OS and the installed apps. Check if the problem is gone after doing so Make sure overheating is not caused just because you have installed a lot of games in your device Customizing the important settings of your device can sometimes cause this problem. Restore them and simply reboot the device. This can solve the problem The ventilation system of your Xiaomi Mi 9T might not be working properly. Check Check if this problem is there just because the cache data of the device is not cleaned for a long time

  • So guys, does this phone overheat too much when compared to other phones? You sure had some phones before and also using them during summer so please write objective information (when compared).

  • Unfortunately no. Cheap Chinese phones all have various hardware compromises, and thermal dissipation is sometimes a compromise. It's not something that can be 'fixed' with a software update.

  • I would like to buy Mi 9t from DXB. how is the phone,Guys? please advice

  • No, i mean all phones overheats at this time

  • Mi 9T, Model name M1903F10G, MIUI 10.3.9.0

  • Yeah, I would have waited few months to at least buy it in winter, but now that's that. It mostly annoys me when it gets really hot when taking a few pictures. I'm afraid to even use it too much. Pfff... Maybe it's gonna get better with software updates. I hope anyway.

  • I bought this phone, it have one big mistake, it is too big. It is good phone, but really too big and the size makes this phone actually bad. Please, make one smaller model of that, and I will buy smaller one definitely! Right now thinking that I probably will continue to use my old phone, so sad it is so big and I relly dont understand phone companies not doing any compact any more.

  • I've bought this phone a few days ago and far by now I'm really impressed with bit everything is working really good. Camera is good, it has a powerful processor that's optimized really good and far by now I haven't experienced any lag in any games, sound is really good also. The screen is really good also and I have been impressed how they have managed to put an AMOLED screen at this price point. Battery is pretty decent knowing that this phone has a pretty powerful processor and screen. The pop-up camera works really cool and good. The on-screen fingerprint scanner is also pretty good. Of course it doesn't work as well as normal scanners, but if you use it normally it works almost any time. If you want to buy this phone I really recommend you doing this because this is one of the best phones you can get at this price point.

  • Xiaomi please make a smaller version of Mi 9T with 5" to 5.5" screen. Mobile market is saturated with Big phones hope you can fill out the gap for people how wants a compact phone. The Mi 9se is still big for me and i'm 5'11" :D

  • Is 1080p 240fps continuous or only limited in time? And can it do 720p 240 fps continuous?

  • absolutely yes,

  • yes

  • It's summer what did you expect?

  • Dont know why all the mobile company stop making a handy mobile phone?

  • Does mi 9t version has nfc??? China k20 variant has nfc...

  • What MODEL is your own please, Cos I think a lot of others are having same complaints with OVERHEATING

  • If you start the camera app and move it around for 10 minute it should heat up just like when playing PUBG. I guess I'll just play PUBG in winter with it. It'll sure keep my fingers from freezing. And also maybe take winter pictures and video. This is not a summer time phone.

  • Your phone is drunk My didn't even overheat even the slightest when taking pictures and video

  • Mi 9T, heats up when taking video, heats up when taking pictures. Cooks your fingers when playing games. That would be the only downside I'm not happy with. Chinese app, whatever, privacy gone, whatever, now it also heats up more easily. You have been warned.

  • I want buy this phone fro replace it my Redmi note 5

  • I also consider that mi9T is already android9 out of the box unlike pocophone f1 that still in android 8 and upgrading to 9 could lead to bugs everywhere. I'm really stucked with this decision

  • Agreed, that's what I was thinking of. If the price is fine the best way is to buy in local store otherwise you get some warranty but have to send phone to a distant country if there's any issue etc. However price over 400 E for 128GB means no deal so it's time to try those other options (so far I didn't have to myself). They should consider such pricing in some countries. (Other comments: I know but thanks for your replies anyway.)

  • Mi 9T sar value is 1.341 w/kg .

  • Huawei Y9 Prime is good budget phone worth for money

  • If your on Gaming/overall, choose Mi 9T.. If your more on social media such as facebook, etc. Y9 prime is enough. Checked Youtube reviews for actual comparison.

  • Any thoughts between xiaomi 9T and huawei y9?

  • It will be called Mi 9T Pro my friend

  • It should be like the K20, it's just that the K20 has software dimming and the Pro has hardware dimming.

  • Is this one fully laminated display

  • So what about DC dimming? I'm finding conflicting info. I see the "anti-flicker" options in some reviews, yet people are commenting there's no DC dimming and the info on latest ROM says there is flickering on lower brightness: WTF? Can anyone clarify? Thanks.

  • I only tried PUBG mobile and Mobile Legends but PUBG seems to be laggy with this phone but I am not sure how other phones stack up against it. Mobile legends seems fine but there is no high frame rate option available.

  • If it's for gaming then get the poco f1. Sd845 is better than 730. MI 9t looks better though with amoled display

  • Yeah my phone is overheating a lot while charging too. It barely charged and it is very hot. Did we get defective phones?

  • I fixed this. There is a setting in wifi or data that automatically switches to which is faster. If you turn this off the wifi will work much better. For the first few days my battery life was truly amazing, better than I thought a phone with this large of screen and quickness could have. However today I was trying to charging my phone and it didn't charge and just heated the phone for around 30 minutes before I noticed and unplugged it. Later that day my battery went from 90% to 0% in the span of 5 hours with only a couple hours of usage. Even now I am using my phone and it seems that my battery life is not nearly as good as it was yestuday. Did I ruin my battery already?

  • I hate pop up camera.

  • primarily will use it for gaming. is it still that good?

  • Absolutely no question, get Mi 9T

  • I'm planning to buy a phone but cant decide between pocophone f1 or mi 9T.

  • K20 Pro is a beefed up K20, which for example means that instead of 730 you get the 855. The K20 is the Chinese/Indian variant of the Mi9T

  • I think it's because the screen is curved? If you are using tempered glass I suggest you either finding a better one or use the plastic protector instead since it's flexible so it will stick to the curves.

  • I have been using mi 9t for a month. The wifi connection works perfectly no issues at all.. The only thing that I noticed is heating issue. On my old xiaomi note 5 there wasn't any heating problem, but with mi 9t there is a little bit heating (strange).

  • any WiFi connection issues? I read on Reddit that some people have them

  • Seriously, in terms of camera, display, performance, battery life, and repair costs, which would you consider buying, is it Samsung Galaxy s9, Xiaomi mi 9t, or oneplus 7, and what is your reason?

  • Mi 9T Pro is K20 Pro and is different from Pocophone F2.

  • Hi guys,, Actually, I have used 3 screen protectors for my mi 9t. However, I had the same problem which was a bubbles in both sides RT&LT. I saw some videos on YouTube to resolve the problem but no benefit!! Any suggestions! I would be highly appreciated.

  • Really who has 10-15 movies in it's phone? do you own a tv? do you happen to know what streaming is?

  • I bet that the k20pro global version will be the Pocophone 2

  • Dude i own a Samsung A70, camera sucks

  • Hotspot from other smartphone? Maybe you need to change your SIM from other network provider with better internet coverage.

  • y is it there is no signal on my area using mobile data, but using hotspot with lte connection I have a fast internet connection thanks for the reply btw bro.

  • 4G+ or LTE-A is more stable and faster than 4G/LTE connection.

  • what does 4g+ means? is it better than lte connection or just the same?

  • I also works slow when I connect to my Wi-Fi I don't know if this has been already escalated. do you have any update about this?

  • I don't own any 845 devices but coming from an exynis note 5 it's a massive improvement. On the topic of comparing the pocophone to the 9t, I'll take the 9t since it has an oled display, better cameras, battery life, notchless screen, better design, nfc, skinnier bezels and that's all I guess. You'll sacrifice the IR face scanning, rear fingerprint, sd card expansion, 8gb ram, 258gb rom, stereo speakers, 845 performance(I don't think you'll notice the difference unless you're playing graphically intensive games){also, it's just a watered down 845 so you good}, the better than miui poco launcher and that's also I can think of I guess

  • Is this phone available in Pakistan,??

  • except k20 pro, Soc Snapdragon 855 is flagship chip.

  • So you want always on display, so go to settings click "display", then go to "ambient display" option, then there's ?always on" settings option and turn it on, you can also set different shapes and schedules when to turn the display on and off😄

  • Snapdragon 730, amoled display and pop-up selfie camera made this phone awesome. currently there is no competitive rival of MI9T in midrange segment. just love it.

  • Hi there I have the AOD (always on display) but I don't have any notification appearing ? Can someone help me ?

  • Does anyone have a problem with the wifi not working all of a sudden? I have to restart my wifi to get it work and my wifi is working on my other devices. Overall other than weird connectivity issues this phone is awesome

  • Check the notification settings both for your phone and viber. Mine is doing fine for all notifications including viber and whatsApp.

  • this device is not yet supported hfr for mobile legends online game

  • Hey guyz I love this phone But can you tell me Mi 9t or galaxy a70 And what's the difference between mi 9t and k20 pro

  • 5 gHz wi-fi - yes. 5g networks - no.

  • I have a problem with AOD (Ambient Display). It does not show Viber app notifications. Does anyone have this problem?!?

  • Hi. Connects well with 5GHz WiFi. Not sure about 5g networks. But has good network connection with Globe telecoms.

  • Changing from Mi Mix 2S to this!

  • What is the actual thickness in the middle? Doesn't it feel too thick? 8.8mm is thickness measured where? Anyone maybe have actual dimmensions drawing?

  • Oh I love this phone, how and where can I get this phone?

  • I bought this phone a week ago and its network connectivity is better than my Mate 20 using the same SIM card. Signal strength is also the compatibility of the phone with your network provider's system including the bandwidth.

  • Did anyone get this phone after mi 8 ? i wonder which has better camera for photography, mi 9t or mi 8 ?

  • I meant, doesn't have super AMOLED.

  • I'm now starting to think the pro version doesn't have AMOLED either. Many sites list it as just AMOLED for both...

  • How about the connectivity on this device? It can support 5g network or 5megahz wifi connection? Compare to other brands? Like redmi note7/pro? Btw im from philippines so can anyone of you guys tell me?

  • They never used Samsung AMOLED display for the K20 and Mi 9T, only for the K20 Pro.

  • You är wrong. I own this phone for couple of weeks now. The sound from the 3,5 mm jack is excellent and you get even better sound with Xiaomis soundsettings. The screen is really good for a regular Amoled and you wont see the difference from this and a super Amoled display in day to day use. The speaker is good for being a single speaker and nothing there ro complain about. Ofc we want a dual speaker bit then we havet to pay norr for the phone. Xiaomi 9t is an absolute bargain and a no brainer for a regular phoneuser. Btw the cameras give brilliant photos.

  • Blue EU version from ebay, is 299EUR + shipping (depends where you live) "ESPAÑA EU VERSION"

  • Try checking Ebay. Right now the price is sold under €300 (depending on what color you want).

  • In my country (Croatia, European Union) the price of 9T 6/128 is 370 euro. I think that's ok price ...

  • Of course I've heard of OTG. Transferring all the files through OTG takes very long. Switching the memory card from one phone to another takes just ten seconds. That's all about it.

  • Crppy 3.5mm jack sound (It's actually not quite loud too), unconvincing speaker, no dual frequency GPS (GSMarena's info in the review is incorrect) and i'm hearing rumors the Super AMOLED displays are only used in the first batches, then they''l use non-Samsung AMOLED. Is it just me or are there too many compromises for the money? It currently costs 420EUr for the 128GB. I guess i'll wait for the Mi 9t pro's release and then a few months more to see reviews and get it for a more fair price (I hope price will eventually drop to MI9t's current price).

  • I want to share my findings to you about Mi9T. It's internet connectivity is better than my Mate 20. It's not an opinion but the truth as I'm using it now.

  • You have the option to use OTG-USB instead of Micro SD before doing any factory reset. Not it's only handy but you can also use on your laptop or player as well to enjoy your music.

  • I bought this phone. It's great. The camera is awesome. It handles every major Mobile AAA games fairly well. Battery life is also great. So far so good. I have no complaints. $300 well spent

  • The phone is capable for photography, battery back up is good and daily performance is flagship level. For the finger print to perform better, do this trick: enroll and use it for sometime then delete it and re-enroll again. MiUI is more complicated than EMUI but I'll be used to it day by day.

  • Not true at all, every person is different and uses their phone different ways. I do not need more than 64gb, or even 16gb... But what I do need is my SD card... Why?! Simple.. Because every year I use the factory reset... But I have like 20 gb of music: Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, 2pac, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Beatles, Ravi Shankar, Jazz, Reggaeton, Bachata, EDM, Bollywood, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar. They are all above 192 kbps or FLAC... I can put my phone in flight modus during work (6/9) hours. While working I can save my energy consumption (flightmodus) as well as internet (4g and in the future 5G). Having an SD card option is not only better for your pocket. But in the future it can also be a positive (health/financial) option for those who want to enjoy music/videos while avoiding/reducing their 5G.

  • How about battery life? The screen on time?

  • Can I get a user review for this device? Planning to buy this soon.

  • Yea but you're likely to get it with a fake rim and of course no warranty. I'd wait until the price normalizes (At least 50Eur less for the 128GB version, which is currently 420-425EUR in my country).

  • You can get it from China for less than 250 EUR including shipping and taxes.

  • Like someone else's reply, there is no need for sd card slot. If you do need more storage, look to cloud instead. Cloud use is becoming more and more common and you can install home cloud quite easily and cheaply.

  • Has anyone in UK bought this phone and confirm that 4G band 20 is working?

  • Yes, it`s OK, because max level of SAR is unreachable in real expluatation, and SAR smaller than 2 W/kq is completely safe.

  • Guyz , is that SAR value is high ? Is tht ok for users ? Please someone helps , if ok i need to buy

  • Note 7 has low sar value

  • You might find the FCC article on SAR ratings usefull: It's wrong to assume that a higher SAR rating means higher radiation in day to day use.

  • Yes. That's why there's a Global Version made.

  • Dave, I also had that in mind before I bought the phone. Then I asked my self why do I need the extra storage in a SD-card? The answer on that question simply is I don't need any SD-card. I don't even need 128gb. 64gb version is more than enough and if you against all odds need external storage you have plenty of cloud services you can use. The external storage with a SD-card is overrated for common use.

  • It's true since the Mi9t is the global version and therefore adapted for the markets and the bands outside China.

  • Own the phone for more than a week. Signal is good, connectionspeed better than my previous phones, wifi strength is very good and I haven't seen any difference in the range either. No complaints.

  • Please advise about signal quality , strength good or poor , connection speed lte ?? And also WiFi ragne and strength ?

  • Actually from what i understand, the opposite is true. Phone emits more radiation when signal's poor. If it's another Note 7 (It has crappy reception), it will be a deal breaker to me. Too bad people never notice things that really matter like this and you can't get any feedback. All they care about is how visible are dust particles on their pics...

  • I have been assuming that Redmi K20 and Mi9T are exactly the same in hardware terms. But having a look at the specs here in GSMarena I discovered that 9T has more 4G bands particularly band 20 for UK. Can anyone confirm that it is true?

  • Wow that's great. This means that this phone have good network connection

  • I always use this trick to speed up fingerprints on the back and on the front. scan your finger multiple times and you will find it works quicker.

  • Yes

  • How come this phone does not have a microSD slot? This ruins everything...

  • Not true, I have Mi Max 3 and it connects to 4G+ everytime..Check your facts..

  • You never see the Mi A1 i can tell

  • Thanks for the reply but I checked it out and found that the Mi 9 series in particular are equipped for 4G+ connectivity.

  • Hello. I bought the 128GB variant with $320 yesterday from here :

  • thats true. my mi phones got 4g+ in some area.

  • I own the device for 3 days now and so far, I am more than satisfied. Battery life is above average, camera in terms of photography is close to excellent, in terms of videography, above average if you are in to 4k video recording (other than that it is excellent), gaming experience is definitely above average. Overall, the above average to excellent properties of the Mi 9T is astounding considering that I got it for roughly Php 17,000.00.

  • Can you confirm that with a source? Or are you just bullshiting.

  • Nonsense, if you watch youtube reviews, you'll notice many 9T units are using 4G+

  • Meaning Mi phones has either limited or slower internet connectivity?

  • Read before asked.

  • Does 9T have FM radio?

  • 1,34 w/kg for your head !!! w.t.f the highest SAR ever seen ...

  • Nope, every mi phone can't connect 4g plus..go for smasung or huawei if you want 4g plus

  • do you think this is a good upgrade between pocophonef1 and this mi9t? except design.. sd730 vs sd845 is it very noticable in gaming expirience??

  • Is Mi 9T able to connect to 4G+ or 4G only?

  • That's only for WiFi, or 3G/4G is also better?

  • From where I live(Malaysia), it is much better than my already dead note 5. By how much? Literal lightyears better, my room is also the furthest from the router in my house and I can get 3 times better signal compared to my old note.

  • Which one best for camera and gaming Mi9T or Mi8 ?

  • Can you compare cellular signal strength between the Note 5 and Mi 9t? Thanks.

  • I've owned this phone for 3 days now. If you want most of the features (especially face unlock) without ads, go set your region to Malaysia. Games (Honkai impact 3 and Tuber simulator) run super smooth just a small bit of lag spikes occasionally of you turn up the graphics. Since its my first phone with a multi camera setup, I can say its better than my note 5 minus the absence of ois. For the fp scanner, I can most certainly it works with sweaty thumbs. Much better than my galaxy note 5 (as it won't work if they're slightly moist) so it's a huge improvement for me at least. As for selfies, I'm not much of a selfie nut so I'll give a brief rundown. Pretty good looking images come out of it. Fall detection works *FAST* and facial unlock would still work slower in less bright areas. As for the design. The carbon model (aka the one I have) has the 3d depth to it tha ks tij the curved glass back. It makes it look like the carbon fiber deep inside. Which is cool to look at As for charging, it does get warm. The power brick will also get warm nut not toasty. For the cables, they're pretty stiff so give them a few days of use and bending here and there. My only complaints are getting to use one handed mode is a "taxing job" compared to Samsung's swipe. Never use the browser that comes in the phone. It has more ads than any ad ridden sketchy website, I would suggest you to use brave browser if you hate ads like me. Also, nova launcher truly made this device shine. Since that's all I ca think about, feel free to ask me more about my experience with this phone

  • I have had my Mi 9t for 5 days now. Exellent phone, nice in hand, best looking phone I ever seen (dont want to use any cover), works fine with all my networks (both home and work), fluid and fast while browsing and streaming. The screen is awesome and batterylife is good. The only cons I have is the a bit slow underdisplay fingerprint but hey the price for Mi 9t is a third of a samsung, huawei or iphone on the scandinavian market. I start wondering how this phone can be so cheap and still deliver flagship performance. My only rational conclussion is that we have payed too much for the other brands. Basically overpriced Samsung and Iphones.

  • There's also the thing called blue tooth file transfer if OTG-USB is too expensive. -,-

  • Don't get wrong, mi9t pro is another type

  • I use something called OTG , never hear that?

  • Is there any touch issue u saw while using??

  • Do you have noticed the SAR value? OMG! It's a plastic toy.

  • Hey y'all american haters, just a reminder that pixel phones cost more than double of this phone and still only comes with 64GB of non-expandable memory :)....

  • note 9 better

  • suuuuuuuure MI 9T

  • Nash...no microSD slot on 6-64gb. Must be nuts

  • In Greece kotzovolos market, the price is 750 euros for the p30 as it goes together with the smartwatch as a gift. I am a foreigner so I get 24% of tax back.

  • Definitely yes. It should be done during initial setup and/or also in settings (I don't have this phone to say specifically), no adds then.

  • Is the price of Note 9 that low now to be compared with Mi9T? Yes it's an older model but are the Mi 9T's specs comparable to that Sammy phone model?

  • Me to i need to know, a70 or mi 9t?

  • So i got this for my younger brother, haven't opened it yet. This is our first Xiaomi phone and I've heard that they display a lot of ads on their UI. Is there a way to turn em off?

  • I've just got my mi 9t the other day, everything works Great aside from that the Phone cannot connect to my Home Wifi, I may need to have this returned bad first experience for Me.

  • Sound quality from the loudspeaker is the worst, loudness too.

  • Definately galaxy a70.. Samsung the king of all mobile phones.. Compare to that it has very super amoled display. Massive huge battery, great sound quality super faaast on display finger print sensor... And more etc.

  • does realy back carbon stronger then the other colors or they all the same

  • Where do you find phones this cheap? I'm talking about p30 pro. In my country it costs 1000$ without a watch

  • I prefer the Xiaomi MI 9T than Huawei P30 just my opinon.....

  • Need your advice between Samsung A70 or Xiaomi Mi 9T. For Xiaomi users, how's the Global Updates releases to their devices? Thanks!

  • Ok i need opinion: I can get Huawei P30 + GT ACTIVE Smartwatch for 570 euros and Xiaomi Mi 9T for 370 euros. Really like a clean display like on the mi 9t but also i want a better camera. Any suggestions?

  • The Mi 9T "pro" = Xiaomi redmi k20 pro same device, beter cpu, less LTE bands.... -.-

  • limits dictated by the hardware. the only sad thing is to talk about design in a technology blog. you probably have the wrong site or you confuse a smartphone with a fashion accessory. you are not very perceptive :/

  • In Term of Performance They are Pretty much the same and they Mi 9T is newer and it has better screen To body Ratio Because of the Notchless Infinity Display Mi 9T has triple Camera Setup the main camera and the telephoto 2x zoom and the wide angle lens so yeah i think its better because its even less Expensive than the Galaxy Note 9

  • No bro trust me It doesnt even matter I watched a lot of videos and the Mi 9T has The Best Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) Ever on a smartphone Its even so smooth that it can be better than the OIS on the Mi 8 The Main 48Mb Shooter Camera of the Mi 9T is Very Impressive

  • what kind of limit you're talking about? every phone has their own hardware, it's not like google pixel is the only phone that can process camera shoot. yes there will be difference in hardware, but as long the result is okay, why not? also it's YOUR logical way of thinking. a technology where design is also involved need both aesthethic and essence. you posted about opinion is not reality in another reply, but force your opinion on how we value a phone, sad.

  • Mercedes. So get mi 9t

  • I wish it cost 320EUR, sadly it's at least +50 for basic version in my country (EU) what I find a bit too much. And I'm not the only one in this forum as I can see.

  • Please Mercedes or Maruti ??

  • thanks. what about ois ? mi 8 has ois but mi 9t doesn't. do u think it will effect the photo quality ?

  • PLs help Samsung note 9 or Xiaomi mi 9t

  • Mi 9T has triple Camera Setup the main camera and the telephoto 2x zoom and the wide angle lens then i think its better

  • In Morocco It Costs about 370€ Euro for the 128 GB Model and its also so Expensive

  • is that SAR big?

  • from amazon it's €400 even from local stores

  • guys , which one has better camera ? mi 8 or mi mix 3 or mi 9t ?

  • This Phone would've been great if it has an Sd card slot. That's a dealbreaker for me.

  • If so, what would be a better alternative at 320 eur?

  • In EU cost like 320 euro way too much for 64gb version

  • My Tom Tom data (6.5 Gb is stored on my sd card ) So is my Maps.me data (some 5 Gb of data ) This is the only reason I wont buy a 64 Gb Phone like the New pixel 3a :(

  • Use the comparison tool here and then check if the price difference is worthy for those especially the selfie cam and the chipset.

  • EIS

  • Do this phone got OIS or EIS ?

  • Guys I want to ask you something. In my country the pricing of the Mi 9T and the Mi 9 is awfully close. So I want your opinion: should I buy the former or the latter?

  • European measurement on head: 1.341 W/Kg, on body: 1.511 W/Kg The European Union sets a limit of 2 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue. American measurement on head: 0.980 W/Kg, on body: 1.180 W/Kg The FCC limit is 1.6 W/kg measured in a volume of 1 gram of tissue

  • Sar value? Someone know... Thanks!!!

  • So Xiaomi, I waited and waited, but you refused to post the SAR radiation information for this phone. So I got yesterday for me and my wife Huawei Mate 20 pro. You just lost 2 customers. But since you are hiding info on radiation, I presume it is high anyway...

  • Glass

  • Try searching for you country's MI-Store and order from there

  • Yes, but it takes like 2 seconds for the selfie cam to pop out

  • simply because some sensors are better than pixel sensors. Gcam is software, not hardware. Hardware limits cannot be bypassed by software. Preferring a phone to its essence is the most logical way to appreciate technology. This is not an opinion, this is a rule

  • it's a port yes, but why you refer gcamera as god of phone camera? lots of port did better job than stock gcamera. I admit gcamera is "buy and use" kind of setup, but not everyone prefer gcamera result (there are blind test from Marques Brownlee and guess what? pixel lose the vote.) also the way you value phone by essence is your opinion, not reality.

  • I'm not kidding. I always use Pixel Experience with xiaomi devices, they work flawlessly.

  • Yep it was (i returned it) the global version (And 3g reception was just as bad). Unfortunately harsly anyone notices such things. I saw a youtube review of 9t where the reviewer said his unit switches to 2g all the time and he hasn't had the problem with other phones. He blamed it on defective antenna (He actually said he can't review cellular reception because his unit is faulty), but i suspect his unit wasn't faulty and it's j ust another model with crappy reception.

  • it's my first time hearing about that for note 7, my friends have note 7 and i never heard them complaining about signal. are you sure you're buying global version? Chinese version might have different band that might cause the problem

  • Umm WTF does it have to do with signal reception?

  • i think mi9t quite better than note series, it have cool looking, snapdragon 730 chipset, amoled screen, fingerprint under screen, fast charging 18w and cold liquid system..

  • How's cellular reception conpared to other phones (For example redmi note 7 or redmi 5 plus...the note 7 has quite poor reception, while the 5 plus has pretty decent reception. I hooe the 9t is better than the note)?

  • For short term read write it won't matter much but NVMe will sustain for a longer time to bring about a difference in speeds

  • i just hope if they are planning to make the mi9 pro just hoping they will put the sd cars slot

  • Does this phone have face id?

  • Class 10 SD card is nowhere near as fast as internal NVME chips. Compare class 10 speeds to an M.2 NVME SSD and you will see why they will always suck.

  • Global selling actually only starts about now. Just wait a week or a few and it should be in stores then.

  • You said it -same price as others. If it calls itself a flagship killer, it should have better specs for lower price than the others. Which it DOES have as K20 in Asia but I'm not sure about Mi 9T here. Although I do understand it fits to Mi 9 price which is better and more expensive and Mi 9T Pro will be even more etc. Simply, I'd like it to have a bit more competitive price especially from Xiaomi, say 9T 128 about 350 and Pro about 450 here (instead of 400-430 for Mi 9T) that's all. P30 Lite is overpriced uninteresting phone to me. I can buy A50 for 270 or A70 for 340 EUR so I guess that's good competition from Samsung for 9T this time. Anyway, I like Xiaomi and will take some time to decide (or wait for Pro) and maybe will buy it somewhere else in the end.

  • try this site for XAQMI MI 9T

  • Is global version will come in Red flame, Glacier blue?

  • Cant find any store in EU that sells and ships wordwide anyone help? im kinda afraid to order from ali

  • Hmm, that's weird, it's still not widely available in european retailers (Only a few of the small and shady shops and for ridiculous price). Even at Aliexpress there are almost no orders and reviews. What's going on? First the Zenfone 6 was hidden before it made it to the shops and now the 9T. The mentioned shady shops (Like tmobibg) even increased the price shortly after them made it available, some are even selling it at Mi 9 price, for 550EUR/128GB. Insane!

  • does the back body made of plastic or glass?

  • I have the f1 also and i say nay. You don't need a phone in 2019......maybe wait for the blackshark 3 in 2020

  • did the video camera got gyro eis?

  • if you don't have any problem with your phone then wait until mi 9t pro release SD 845 to SD 730 is hardly an upgrade (if not downgrade at all) so don't expect better performance but you'll get better display and design (well, better design than poco is hardly mean something) if you wait until pro release you'll get SD 855 (obv an upgrade), and even better display also better camera than mi 9t (we still doesn't have a review so we can't compare it to poco) that said, if the simple design didn't bother you and playing game with fhd+60fps settings is not necessary. i would rather save my money than upgrade to pro if i were you

  • I have my pocophone f1 now i want to switch to mi9t ? Good or nah?

  • Lol Xiaomi is not a subsidiary of BBK electronics. Oppo/OnePlus, Vivo and Realme are its subsidiaries. Xiaomi is not built as good as Samsung that's why it's cheap but it's tough enough. I have 2 Xiaomi phones so I know. Do you have one? No? So you just assume right?

  • Upgrated from an old Redmi Note 3 Pro which was an awesome phone, so i decided to stay with Xiaomi, despite their decision to not release Note 7 Pro worldwide. Now, 9T is a beautiful phone, great in many aspects, but i miss functions that i never knew how important were for me. IR for example. I used Note Pro as the sole remote control of my air conditions but they somehow decided that 9T should be the only Mi 9 phone without an IR blaster. My worst issue though is with the fingerprint. Note Pro with the rear mounted fingerprint was perfect, touching it for a milisecond was enough to read my fingerprint and unlock. Unfortunately, rear mounted fingerprints were not cool enough anymore and Xiaomi decided to put the function on the display. So, instead of just touching the back for a milisecond, now i have to press and hold and also pray, since 20%-30% of the time it will fail to read it. This problem could have been minimized by the way if at least the face recognition (that works flawlessly) wasn't so painfully slow but that's not the case. All and all, when i got Note 3 Pro i knew soon enough that i would be sticking with Xiaomi for my next phone too. Now, after 9T, i'm not so sure.

  • gcamera porting is not gcamera, in fact, even with modding, it doesn't reach the photographic quality of pixels. The edges are not a malus, in terms of ergonomics they are a plus. The value of a smartphone is not determined by aesthetics but by essence.

  • "was also ugly" is your opinion, not reality. The mi 9t camera is even worse than note 7. google software is not the subject of discussion. Miui is Chinese poop

  • Also, the I/O scheduler for external storage is "deadline" in every Kernel I know about, so SD card should never slow down your device. Read about I/O schedulers on Google.

  • lol they don't. No, they aren't slower unless you're not buying a class 10 SD card. You'll see a number written inside a circle on your SD card that represents its speed. Class 10 has same speed as device's internal storage and is recommended if you want to move games to sd card.

  • SD cards slow down your phone. They are (almost) never the same storage speed than internal nand memory. In addition the slot uses precious space inside the phone even if it's a sim2 shared slot. That's why most manufacturers don't install it on mid-high end smartphones.

  • xiaomi mi 8 vs xiaomi mi 9t which one do u prefer, especially by camera performance.. ?

  • Nope xiaomi is not. I think that you got confused between realme and redmi. They are different brands

  • It has eis

  • The price is 369 euro in europe for 6/128. It's the same price as huawei p30 lite and 20€ more than a50 both with 4/128. The price is very good

  • Compare with redmi note 7, which is have better video stabilization? Redmi note 7 has eis, while i cant see eis on mi9t spec

  • Mi9T series is hardly a "flagship killer". K20/Pro series maybe but those are sold in asian countries etc. This one is sold as Mi series phone in Europe and so and it's sadly priced 400EUR for 6/128 in my country (EU) and even more in official Mi Store and Pro will be about 500 and more. So that's kind of different from my expectations even I expected higher price of course but not this much and this kind of selling strategy makes me little sick. So this is no K20 then - I guess I'll look around for other phones for that money.

  • My Redmi note 4 is 3 years old and has held up better than most high end phones. It's a bit dated in specs now and camera isn't great... But to say xiaomi phones are all trash is utter crap.... I actually am looking at the 9t pro as my next phone. My only gripe is xiaomi seem to be pulling a fast one with the pro version... If it ever comes out

  • Mi 9t

  • realme/xiaomi , vivo, oneplus, oppo are subsidiaries of BBK eletronic. based in shenzen, china. they are in one company. you should know that. that's why design of every design almost same

  • i can get this ((64/6) and mi 8 (128/6) at the same price about 300usd ; which one u recommand? display/camera/battery life are important to me.

  • To save us from.other junk copying companies like samsung

  • Lot of hate here, mostly from people that never had any Xiaomi phone. It's just sad.

  • after along time from listening reviews and using this mobile ... you will realise that it's the best mid range smartphone and it's from the best along side another smartphones

  • You only buy a Xiaomi once , Screens look rubbish and build quality is low.

  • MUI is the biggest deal breaker after sub par reliability of Xiaomi phones. They are cheap for a reason. Had 3 and they fell to pieces in under a year. Sid not enjoy the add ridden OS either.

  • Its does have face unlock, but it's a little slow.

  • Yes

  • I have the Mi 9T. I found something really strange is that when I ran CPU-Z, it shows that the phone has a 7nm processor, Kryo 485 with Adreno 618 and the revision is r13p14... I don't know if it's a true 730 or maybe a locked down 855 but it feels like a 855 phone (I used to own a K20 Pro) Anyone has the same results as I do?

  • Pixel ROM? are you kidding? Not found anywhere with such a third class UI and boring design. Boring design MI UI

  • Now a days Xiaomi keeps on trolling OnePlus but they never change their copying style. Now they are copying OnePlus naming scheme. God why such company even exists

  • 730 consume less power (8nm) means more battery (also bigger battery anyway), big notch(or forehead)/chin on pixel 2XL is ugly. don't forget blueshift means more blue light from 2XL that sore eyes faster. you can always install gcam and most every xiaomi line-up has Pixel Experience ROM.

  • The mi 9 has super amoled too and is said to be better calibrated. I've heard from muliple sources that the mi 9 in terms of display is much better than the k20 pro. cheers.

  • face unlock? yes/no??

  • SD835 is almost the same as a 730 -- arguably the 730 will be better for day to day tasks. Pixel 2 XL was also ugly. The camera on this will be superior, battery, software can be changed to support the same thing you are referring to.

  • Google support, Google experience, better photo, better software, ip67, nothing pop-up camera or notch, more thin, cpu more fast, more density pixel

  • Hi everybody. I am waiting Mi 9T to come to Turkey. I will buy from Evofone (distributor company) exactly.

  • Why?

  • K20 has better storage and less price.

  • still no review ? i'm curious about the camera performance and battery endurance tests ..

  • OnePlus doesn't have Qi, headphone jack or anything special.

  • Pixel 2xl is better

  • 1099 only for 64gb

  • According to the banner on Lazada Malaysia’s front page as well as a separate dedicated page, the Mi 9T with 64GB internal storage will be made available through Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada Malaysia for RM 1,199. However, customers are able to purchase it for slightly less at RM 1,099 on 25 June.

  • A50 = decent camera, decent processor, completly plastic (careful if you put it in pocked and you have slim fit cloths, it might be converted into samsung flex), decent gpu, speed ram not specified (xiaomi comes with 1866Mhz with a game turbo). Only A80 is comparable with this phone (by samsung midrage), but it will cost you more than 600Euro.

  • The price is overprice, than the pro version will start at MYR1699 to MYR1899 perhaps but dont worry in 6 month the price will falls

  • Xiaomi Malaysia selling RM1,299 for 64gb,1,499 for 128gb.

  • Xiaomi please include wireless charging on mi 9T pro

  • Because the review was so late, the price on MI9 went up again. I was thinking between mi9 and mi9T...

  • Buy mi 9t *Few moments later* Xiaomi has just announced mi a3

  • mi 9t uses newer imx 582 sensor so it should take better photos than the mi 8

  • I'm almost certain it has widevine L1 support.

  • Agree. Unfortunatly this phone is considered small to medium sized by 2019-2020 standards. I would gladly upgrade to a smaller phone from my oneplus 3, but I dislike both apple and samsung, and sony's compact phones have huge and a variety of problems like touch screen issues.

  • Please wake this guys up. he is dreaming. your A50 hot a lot like flat iron. haha. nice to have flat iron with a phone.

  • I am not xiaomi fanboy, I'm samsung hater. After trying some other brands I realised how bad are samsung phones. They are not only overpriced but also have rubbish quality with a lot of issues and bugs. I just don't understand why people says that samsung is the best and why it is the most selling brand.

  • Hmm why it's called 9T (like 1+ terminilogy) but has less features? No Qi? Seems like SE continuation. I'd actually welcome notchless Mi 9.

  • we want dedicated memory slot

  • too bad its a shovel, would buy, but too big to buy because I dont have gorilla hands. its just too big to use it one hand. shame, good phone, but too big to buy

  • It's not checkmate. You and I have just different experiences with those brands. That's all.

  • I simply don't understand what it is with Xiaomi fanboys! They get all furious whenever someone say anything bad about it!!! There are plenty of evidence that also say I am right. Everyone has their different experience with different brands, because all device units are not of equal quality. I just said about my opinion, you don't need to wage war for your leige lord Xiaomi... :-D And I am happy with my current Xiaomi device, "For the price."

  • k20pro/MI 9Tpro = has super amoled k20/MI 9 = has amoled whats the different ?? it is noticable ? or almost like the same??

  • Explain how?

  • All phones can survive rain.

  • IP 68+ is important. It's got to be able to sustain rain, accidental drop in the H2O (I'm not talking about DIVING). Survival while trail running in the rain is paramount.

  • From my experience of using both Samsung and Xiaomi, I can say that in terms of reliability, Xiaomi is better, specially with new MIUI. Check mate.

  • Who cares for what you say? There are a lot of statistics that proves that you are wrong. And one ui is still new you can't judge about its reliability yet

  • From my experience of using both Samsung and Xiaomi, I can say that in terms of reliability, Samsung is better, specially with new One UI.

  • Does anyone know if the phone supports Netflix HD, Widevine L1?

  • Mi 9t is way better. A50 is just a 400$ midrange with same specs of 200$ phone.

  • Only in your dreams

  • Yes it is.Certainly a bang for your buck for a phone with that specs. I just wish they would also released mi 9t pro here in my country

  • By the A50 haha ( T_T) \(^-^ )

  • the 48 mp camera, only 0,8 micron..?? will it true 48 mp or polarisation..?

  • Well the xiaomi is available in europe thats kinda what makes it good, and 64gb/128gb is plenty unless you use your phone as a trashcan to keep everything on it. The phone is a good vaue regardless of the microsd slot.

  • I actually started using phones before Android existed. and my first android was the HTC Dream. That was when an SD card was required as internal memory was limited to 100-200mb. now with memory sizes the way they are it is completely not needed. Hell I stopped using an SD card with galaxy S1 and had no negative since. You guys are whiners

  • you cannot store apps on the card, or app data, so the only thing you will be storing will be photos and videos and files. You can transfer these from the internal memory to a computer faster than an SD card and then onto the next phone with ease. What you are describing is a minor inconvenience with a workaround - AKA Whining.

  • The A50 is much worse, worse processor, worse construction materials and worse and disastrous fingerprint scanner

  • LoL, Vivo wins cause V15 Pro atleast provided an SD card slot, lol, people who are saying that SD card is dead, probably started to use phone after the Galaxy Note 7 incident. And a Snapdragon chipset? I'm pretty sure consumers in this price segment won't be thinking of playing Anything above Pubg in their phones, which most of the phones with SD card slot can handle. So why bother buying a Xiaomi for $ 300+??

  • Why you say that?

  • Lol flagship killer killed by a midranger A50. Enjoy

  • black carbon back.... :)

  • Source

  • Also, the amoled screen is such a screw-up. They buy them from Samsung, and 2 out of 3 of those screens are faulty and come with dead pixels out of the box. The same is much less usual with the traditional LCD IPS screens.

  • So, in order to get all the files of my previous phone into the new one, instead of just having to remove the memory card from the old one and put it into the new one, I have to pass all the files from the memory card to my computer and then from my computer to the new phone which hasn't got a memory card slot, such process that will take a lot of hours to complete. And all of this just because some marketing geniuses out there have decided for me that memory cards will no longer be available.

  • Mi 9T has more powerful chip SD730 (8 nm) and faster underdisplay fingerprint A50 has a lot of fingerprint issues see it in YouTube except the ugly notch and 15W charger

  • delete the movies after you watch it.. shh..

  • The mi 9t has a way better processor a telephoto camera A camera with night mode smaller chin better in screen fingerprint sensor better build materials

  • Which is better if you compare this phone with Samsung A50? What advantages Mi 9T has? Because it's a bit more expencive

  • you dont need that much information on the phone. Mobile games are a waste. only keep what you need offline and problem solved.

  • SD Card is dead, get over it.

  • You talk like you can find a better phone for 300 euros, plus it has a SD730, the Galaxy A80 costs 650 euros...

  • which one has better camera , mi 8 or mi 9t ?

  • Dont feed the trolls. They are just talking things out of their asses. They dont know what they're talking 'cause they wont even buy the phone. And i think people are quiet exaggerating about not having expandable storage. My 64gb phone has never been full. I do sometimes watch movie on it but later i would delete it and regularly clean unnecessary files or caches to free up some space. That's why external harddisk is useful for it. Also reading other comment, wtf would you have 1000 apps for? I highly doubt you would ever regularly use even half of it.

  • This phone will work in tmobile USA with bands 2,4,5 still missing bands 12,66, and 71. But the biggest disappointment is there no 9t pro.

  • Again, no memory card. Thanks for nothing.

  • In all fairness 64gb needed not enough theses days and next month their releasing the 128gb version along with the 256gb too so other options buy with bigger storage or just have cloud storage makes life so much simpler if doing a lot of vlogging and video intense use or having lots of games on device

  • Frame is metal and the back is glass

  • If Xiaomi make a compact phone with pop up camera, then i will buy that.

  • I don't know the frame but the back is glass (Gorilla Glass 5)

  • Is it metal frame/back?

  • We download 1GB games, 10-15 games 10Gb, 10-15 movies in HD 20GB and video clips from camera or downloaded from net and pictures 20-30GB. Recording screen also. Lets not forget apps installed. All that makes phone loads slow and doesn't have enough space free on 64Gb

  • Price in europe are always higher because of taxes. You should have expected this

  • When will be this launch in Philippines?

  • Where is the Mi 9T Pro?

  • Xiaomi Mi 9T = Redmi K20 But price 300 Euro : 260 Euro, LOL.

  • But with 40Euro plus you will get FULL display AMOLED display (no punch) , better chipset SD 730, & off course we still get 3,5mm jack audio

  • I don't get it, why everyone are complaining on 64 GB of RAM. I have J7 2016 with 16 GB of RAM and 16 GB sd card and I didn't full memory ever. All pictures from trips I always move from phone on external drive or cloud or anywhere else. What people want, maybe to download 4k movies and to watch, for me that is ridiculous.

  • Isn't it exactly the same phone as K20? why is it put under different model? it's the same model just re-branded. Right?

  • Wait it compromises compare to what?

  • Xiaomi mi 9t vs xiaomi mi 8 , who wins if we compare this phones camera performance, especially night mode?

  • 300EUR ??? bye ....

  • I wonder if you aren't the one smoking something...

  • jeez. this has better hardware than most phones on 300 euro range.. what are u smokin?

  • Will this work with T-Mo in North America?

  • No card slot how to put my movies and dramas inside internal memory? Internal memory is for my 1000 apps, what are they thinking?

  • they've only just launched mi 9 in february there is literally no point launching the 9t pro version for few months unless they wanna render the mi 9 unsellable, either that or set the starting price at 600-700 eur at which point its not really that big of a deal.

  • He buys used phones ^^

  • I'm sorry, but what are you on? It has few compromises and a few great features: sd730 is a midrange powerhouse, OLED screen from Samsung... and 64gb of memory will last you (unless you stuff it choke full of games or media). So I'd say it is a great offer for 300 EUR.

  • LTE band 4 oh yeah. Thanks Xiaomi

  • Frame and back

  • LOL WTF are they smoking? 300Eur for a phone that compromises on everything except for battery life. And even worse, the 64GB version is completely useless so you'd have to pay even more for the 128GB.

  • It's a shame that the Xiaomi Mi 9T is only coming to Europe. It turns out that the Redmi K20 Pro (Mi 9T Pro) is likely to remain exclusive to China only, which is really disappointing.

  • why different names? its just confusing.... stop it!!!

  • Well, samsung has slightly worse chipset, lcd not oled, punchhole, smaller battery, no aptx, no jack ... it does have a micro sd slot and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, no selfie camera motor that dies on you is a big bonus aswell

  • This phone is a great phone, Glass & Metal build, pop-up durable camera, triple rear camera, amoled display and all those!

  • you mean the frame?

  • Metal or plastic

  • Guys Samsung m40 is 50 euro cheaper and I'm not camera man so would you say Samsung is better in build quality etc and better phone overall?

  • Yes this has the NA bands for LTE!

  • Perfect phone for it's price, it has band 28 which I'm looking for.

  • Sorry you are right its k20 only.. I got confused with another in display camera phone.

  • it's same with Redmi K20? just change the name?
