  • How can i text sms.I'm tryiny but is not respounding.

  • can we use this phone to check out the stock market?

  • I bought my O2 Atom Life May, 2007. unfortunately, I now need a new battery. I am from Pasig City, Philippines. Will somebody help me. Email me, or post it here, where can i get a new one. my unit is still good. i dont want to dispose of it. thanks.

  • Check out xda-developers for a custom ROM, takes about 2 hours to understand it, then you can have latest windows mobile 6.1 and choice of UI and radio software (for battery life, reception and call quality)

  • Someone interested in this phone??I have 13 units and all are very cheap. You can reach me at mail above.

  • WTF do you do with your fone that 200MB is not sufficient? Think about it realistically, how often are you going to surf using your fone....at work you have internet, at home you have internet.... I was on the same bolt on, I never hit 200MB despite going on YuTube at least 3 times a week for at least an hour each time and surfing as well...NEVER, did I even touch 200MB....so WTF do you do? What sites do you go on that consume such an amount of data that you will starve of MB before your new allowance kicks in? PLUS, dependant when you upgraded you would be on their new tariff and you need to check out what benefits/new bolt ons they have on these new tariffs...plus if you went on an 18+ month con, then the bolt on would be free.....If your not happy with 200, then you could get a 3000MB for 20...again, you would have to speak to O2.....I know this cos I used to work there....

  • Slippery - end up accidentally gripping/activating side buttons - frustrating. Hyper-sensitive screen, screen sleep/locking whilst making phone calls, inconsistent response - suspect due to unstable Windows Mobile software. Now on my 3rd Stellar as others kept falling apart (without being dropped or bashed about)! Overall, looked promising but ended disappointed.

  • vvvvvvvvvvvvvv good

  • O2 XDA Stellar looks like HTC TYN II as basically Stellar is manufactured by HTC for O2. So stellar for O2 and TYNII for HTC are one and the same model.

  • I have steller since last 6 months. No Probelm at all. But for chiness charater showing square box,i have not got any solution. If you get please tell me.

  • hmm this looks like the HTC TYTN II...aka AT&T Tilt.

  • 400mhz lang!? atom life is better with 600+ mhz.. will save money for atom life... tc! c",)

  • its the same phone o2 relabled it

  • actually they are sister companies. try to search 02 cosmo vs HTC S620 they are also the same.. both manufactured by HTC.

  • its the same =.=

  • this phone is very much like htc tytn2

  • if it's java enabled what could be the reason i cannot see the stock charts on it? i'm still on 14 day period, i can kick it back str8, i'm confused if i should stick with this. furthermore when you go for unlimited internet bundle on o2, then they come up with-fair usage policy- which is 200mb per month only. i'm not very keen to keep this phone, but what should i go for seeing charts?

  • Hi inayat There is customer support in jayanagar 4th block in banglore.

  • My XDA keeps crashing, it freezes and then needs to be reset 5 or 6 times before it will function properly. Also, there is no icon in the programs list to set up for media messaging. You can't follow the instruction manual because you cannot complete the 3rd stage to set up and it's not programmed with the software. O2 are currently sending me a replacement, we'll see how that one goes...

  • bout the location of O2 xda stellar where you can purchase in manila, philippines, try to double check in malls near you, probably they have one :D

  • can some one tell me where is the service center for O2 xda mobile here in bangalore.

  • It's perfect with silver gold colour

  • Its simple guys, HTC make awesome phones and O2 Don't even bother to try. its not a clone or a rip off HTC sell their models for other companies to use, its only been recently that they decided to start selling them themselves which is cool because in my opinion the HTC ones look/are better than the models they've sold off! :D Go HTC! :D

  • this is so HTC...where's the originality gone to???

  • I have my Stellar foa a few weeks now after as a replacement for my disapointing XDA Mini S. This phone has to be one of the best on the market, doeas everything I need it to and more. When the 32GB Micro SD cards are available I will be able to ditch my Ipod. I have had no prpblems with the video so a great pocket PC & multi media machine. Just who would be mad enough to get ripped off with an iPhone? Their music is overpriced just likie the phone! Buy it - Highly Recomended!

  • OMG, wat a loser to clone and give a diffrent name. It's just diffrent body's color with HTC.everything remaind the same.

  • I have purchased O2 stellar.Everything is Good. It's Keyboard is very handy for fast typing.I am using english version. While syncronising with PC all contacts get transferd in O2 but many contacts have mix english and chiness adreses. In o2 English character can be seen but for chiness it's show squre blocks. How can i view Chiness characters ........

  • its htc tytn II

  • Upgraded recently from the Orbit to the Stellar and very pleased. Doesn't crash like the Orbit used to and the fully keyboard makes it so much more usable. Stellar seems to manage Windows Mobile 6 no problems which again makes this so much better than the Orbit.

  • Is anyone having issues with the contacts? Mines annoying me like taxi driver, i have outlook contacts, sim contacts, MSN contacts... all of which are the same people 3 times! its a real pain going through the contacts to find people, all with people with different formatted names. On top of that, i'm sure its been made my a left handed person, it seems a lot more clumsy to use than the MINI S which i had last. Installed google maps on it tho, that works a treat with the GPS and ariel photos!

  • Great fone apart from the driver issues. We have 2 of them and can watch all the movies, comedies and all that.Navigator software easy to use. With this phone you dont need an iPod Nano. And if you're a geek u'd love this baby...

  • this is the same as htc tytn ii, mda vario iii.

  • i realy like all o2 handy phones i wish in could have one

  • What is the battery life like

  • is this the HTC TyTN II realy ?

  • Don't Buy this phone or any other with Qualcomm MSMXXXX HTC has refused to develope proper drivers for the graphic processor built in which causes this phone to run at a substandard rate much lower than much older phones.

  • Think someone is stuck on HTC's to much, nothing wrong with the XDA's and they do the job well. If you treat your bit of kit with respect they will always work! I have never found a problem with the battery life of any of my O2 XDA's that I've had.

  • TOUCH CROUSE Probbly the best in both processor and design

  • that's right. even jamin had longer life than the O2 Atom exec. HTC makes better, but without design. lets have a look to Kaiser Design. But now with the touch serious thinks changed Have a look at HTC TOUCH CROUSE... Probably the best.

  • O2 have power saving problems. I am suggesting you all to try the htc Kaiser or the HTC touch Crouise. They come both with the same proccesor and they are the best in the market NOW

  • to Vim Fuego Which radio your using? I have try 1.27.12.17 and 1.27.12.32 both works fine and well, I find 17 has better reciption and saves more power on my phone. maybe if you know what you doing, upgread the redio,it will sove the problem. for me, this phone is a great little device !!

  • kaiser rules..

  • I'm planning to get a new phone... I had used the O2 atom exec b4... I am thinking to get the HTC Touch Cruise, anyone know how's theis 02 XDA stellar compare to the HTC touch Cruise? Or any other better phone recomment ?

  • yes i do!! they sent my phone to a wrong address twice!!

  • anyone having prob with slide? is it kinda loose?

  • cool

  • ohmigosh!! i want an O2!! but i cant afford it...:( im just a student...

  • "I'm not optimistic since I've read other online comments on how poor the radio in the unit is." No wonder you weren't impressed on how poor the radio is - it doesn't have a radio?

  • People deserve to know that this phone (or the one I got last week) has horrible reception. It's to the point that it's unusable. O2 is replacing the original unit, but I'm not optimistic since I've read other online comments on how poor the radio in the unit is. This is very disappointing as the other features on the phone are generally good and it provides most of what I'd want in a smart phone. Previously, I had a Samsung i600 and never had reception problems. Sometimes, I'll have four bars and yet no GPRS network. It's nuts. I can sometimes cure this by doing a soft restart, but I've done that so many times that it's become part of the routine to get the phone to even work at minimal levels. Do not buy this phone or if you do, thoroughly test it out during the triall period. I will repost if this phone turns out to be a lemon based on the replacement phone I expect to receive today. I'm a big fan of HTC, but in this instance, it's truly a dog.

  • Purchased the stellar a few weeks ago and must say i'm quite impressed with it overall. I'm not going to criticise as i don't think anyone will ever find perfection in a PDA, but what I will say is that it does tend to freeze now and again. I really like the google maps application when using the gps. I find it better than my sat nav! and you can view in satellite mode, which is really something!

  • hmm.. been using it for a few days.. one thing for sure as it is a PDA, the battery life is not that good.. but if you turn of the HSDPA and 3G, the batt life improve quite a lot.. I dont really like o2 theme.. try the HTC home tab and also HTC task manager.. The last cons is the speaker.. the sound quality is not as high as i expected but its not bad.. overall, ill give 8.5/10 to this phone.. just a lil bit worried abt the slide as i use to use o2 mini s and after a while the slide gets a lil bit loose.. anyhow.. good luck to the rest of you whose getting this phone :-) merrry christmas

  • 1- how is the speaker and the inner speaker?"cuz i used to get calls and not hearing the caller loud and clear". The speaker is not as good as the Atom's - I used to have to turn the volume down on my Atom and I have to check that it is at maximum to hear properly on the Stellar. 2- how is the battery life? The battery life is noticeably worse than the Atom's and requires a car charger if you are using GPS for anything more than a couple of hours. 3- is the screen super sensitive about weather changes? Not sure what you mean? If you mean can you see the screen in sunlight then yes to a certain degree (not had any bright sunshine though as I'm in the UK!). I would say that the screen is not that different to the Atom in performance terms. 4- where can i get one??? "still saying coming soon" Now available from O2 - check out their website: Hope this helps

  • i had O2 xda atom befor, i just want you help about Stellar: 1- how is the speaker and the inner speaker?"cuz i used to get calls and not hearing the caller loud and clear". 2- how is the battery life? 3- is the screen super sensitive about weather changes? 4- where can i get one??? "still saying coming soon" i really like O2 and i am hoping that i will get the best for my money, your help is greatly appreciated

  • hey, I got problem with my PDA. Mine DOPOD 838 PRO, normaly when using online the PDA got warm (at the battery) rite? but still runing good. Mine, my PDA when get warm, the touch screen miss functional. it's like freezing. I can't use my touch screen function and the running application aoutmaticaly close. but the keyboard and the other button functional normaly. I restore it to factory setting already but still the same story. so if any of PDA freek knows this problem, please share to me and the others what should do with it and which part are damage or to be replace. Thank You

  • www.e2save.com are doing this phone from next week and it'll be a free with a 30 a month contract.

  • From its specs & features, the best XDA ever-made stable device as well as the Orbit II (though i didn't try em yet, but they seem to rock!). But the cons is the absense of the FM radio & the LED flash, at least they should've think of integrating the FM radio for the entertainment on the move. I'm gonna get myself one soon after i'm done with my nokia n95.

  • nice phone

  • iam due for my upgrade, planning to go for XDA stellar is it worth going for ?

  • we have these they open like the mini and trion, very nice phone indeed

  • was thinking of upgrading to this handset when my contract is up next month, but considering the initial outlay of 200 pounds on 12 month @ 30 it would actually be the same price to buy this handset, sim free and as htc intended and take out the o2 simplicity tariff, and no contract! then you wont have to put up with the dissapointment of having the network stamp its restrictive mark all over what should be an amazing handset. also i believe the original htc version comes with the satnav software.

  • whats that? another HTC tytn II

  • this is available in o2

  • I have had this phone for 5 days and upgraded from the XDA Orbit and prior to this the XDA Mini-S. Overall, a much improved user interface and far more stable; assume this is due to WM6. The Stellar is slightly thicker and heavier than the Orbit, but is worth it for the added functionality of the keyboard. I am using TomTom 6 and alignment of the sat nav is vastly improved and down to seconds rather than (occasional) minutes; also QuickGPS lasts for a week rather than 3 days. The stability of the WiFi is also vastly improved with much better range and time to connect. The only cons I have found so far is that the battery life is not as good as the Orbit (but it is still early days and I'm playing around with the power hungry features!), I cannot find settings to keep the keyboard lit up permanently for typing in the dark (it turns off after a short time), the O2 software will not allow 5 shortcuts to be placed on the screen (select 5 and it states only 5 can be selected?), personally I find the tilting screen a bit of a gimmick (but maybe that'll change after more use?!) and no radio (as was on the Orbit). The camera is perfectly adequate for me for this functionality and the type of photos I take with a phone. I have purchase a silicone case (I do not like the type of case supplied with the phone) that was manufactured for the HTC TyTn II and the fit is a bit loose for my liking - this could be the they are slightly different sizes or a poor case. Just had 3G enabled on my sim-card so I haven't used this capability yet. Overall, with a number of years using XDAs - I must say that this is the best XDA I've had.

  • I've had this phone for a week now, and I love it. Just to confirm, it is an O2 branded version of the HTC TyTN II. It's replaced my XDA Exec, and makes me wonder how I stuck with it for so long. It's so much quicker to respond and easier to use. As a PDA the Exec was good, but as a phone really quite poor. The Stellar is so much better at everything.

  • htcos2!!!!

  • did all PDA is good and longlasting in good condition??

  • If this opens like the Mini will be excellent! Worry about the battery a bit!

  • one of the first fews... great.. to talk bout it, this seemed more or less like Asus P735, which of course the camera now is 3.15mp.. with built in GPS reciever.. and also carries the tag o2.. Definitely carries a higher price tag too.. sure a fight with HTC.. but again, estimating at least RM3k above.. WHEN WILL THEY LEARN??

  • is this a better mobile compared to n95?... as this also has a really good camera of 3.15mp

  • seems ok.. donnoe it will perform to what it should be..

  • It's too bad, because it's only using UMTS not HSDPA, just like a simplifed version of original TYTN II then.

  • NOT baaaaaaaaad

  • what a phone!!!!!!!!!
