My Oneplus 6 already 1,5 years old and still going strong, UI has same smoothness like day 1, no lags, almoast no bugs, suprisingly battery also still going strong even consnsidering fact that i play alot on the phone high graphic games. Camera already lacking behind if i compare it to my wifes Mate 20 Pro, but sill good. Still getting regular updates. Thanks Oneplus for good product.

i have been a Oneplus user from the beginning, Oneplus One, Oneplus 3 , Oneplus 5 and currently use a Oneplus 6. However i've also used work phones which have ranged from Samsung s7, s8, Iphone 6, Iphone 8 , Pixel XL , Pixel 3a. IF you want a dual sim phone with a clean android OS then Oneplus brand is great, that's the only niche. If dual sim isn't a priority then Oneplus is not the phone to buy, it isn't half the price of other flagships like when it started, you will keep a flagship for 2-3 years, so the saving over that period is tiny. Camera performance has been rubbish from OPO and even the 7 pro is rubbish compared to the competition. If your not into gaming then a Pixel 3a at half the price is a way better choice, if your into gaming then a Samsung flagship or pixel 3 xl is the way to go.

You are right. I live in Romania and 1+ did nothing for implementation of VOLTE and VOWIFI on their terminals for the most important carriers (Orange, Vodafone Digi and Telekom).

Hi Community If you are an unlucku european user, for the most part (there are VERY FEW exceptions) you wil not be able to use VoLTE/VoWiFi with Oneplus phones, as OnePlus simply does not care to implement settings for most of european mobile carriers in OxygenOS. In other words, if you are after VoLTE and/or VoWiFi in Europe, you are much better off buying Samsung, as it just works. Why have a feature (VoLTE/VoWiFi support) that you cannot use. It is the same as having no Volte/Vowifi feature at all.

It is so worth it! Price is not that high, it actually marked down. And I would pick this over the 7 or the 7 pro. Good things about it: - AMAZING BATTERY LIFE! - Fastest charger I've ever used - High ram, no system lag - Good display, which also helps with battery life - Stock android - Double tap to wake and to sleep - has a 3.5mm headphone jack - very light and very thin - has slightly curved back for good grip Things I didn't like: - Camera is not that great but I think that's just me being very picky because I'm a camera geek. - Speakers could've been better, but its not that bad tho - lacking water resistant ( understandable because of the price) - has no SD card slot (but acceptable since it has 128gb of storage)

Still happy. I recently ordered the One Plus 7 Pro, which is an amazing phone of course, but it didn't really feel any faster, despite the 90hz screen. So .. 800 bucks saved .. It wasn't easy to send it back, the notch-less screen is something else.

One Plus really focus on customer experience, and they do a great job when customizing the OS, the battery lasts forever, the most responsive phone I've ever seen and it never gets slower as the time goes on. They are one of the very first to release a new OS when they do come out. And a ton ofother little things that make using the phone a great experience

OnePlus 6 is a great phone but it would have been even better if you had removed the option to switch off the phone once the phone is locked as it helps track the phone once it's stolen as most thieves just switch the phone off immediately. Removing that optional would make the phone more secure. Further, it would be great if the option to edit the settings panel is also removed once the phone is locked as putting the phone in airplane mode will also make it impossible to track. Removing the airplane mode from the settings panel can help in immediate recovery of the phone in case of theft but that action would become useless with the option to edit the settings panel in lockscreen mode. Kindly consider this request. Thank you

Every oled screen suffers from burns(or pinkish- bluish lines like on Samsung phones,also other kind of issues)- but u can avoid this- do not ever set oled screen on maximum brightness for longer than 5 minutes and also be sure that most of the time u use your phone screen brightness is not over 60 percent,always use dark( black) theme(wallpaper,bacground).

That aint a bug, its just a setting which turns on wifi automatically when in range of a known wifi connection. just turn it off from settings>network>wifi>preferences

Overall phone is good. It has a bug, though on turning off the wi-fi or switching off the internet, it gets turned on automatically.

I have 2 friends who owned oneplus - one owned the fifth one and the other one oneplus 6. Well, the fist guy's battery started having shortage problems after 1 year and the other guy has screen bleeding accompanied with the fact he can't use his wifi. Yeah, and in two years the brand will be dead. By being greedy they just decided to put the prices up so making oneplus a flagship phone thus rendering them obsolete. Phones are becoming a commodity and i'm happy about it.Every phone that tries to stand out for its price eventually dies. Because no matter how much some people are trying to make oneplus appear as if the phone is the best on the market.

OnePlus 6 for sure,because both Sams and Huaw are laggy with awful performance compared fo ultra-supreme performance on OP6:there is no screen flickering,it was an issue with some version on Pie update(and thats what u found searching)but its fixed with later updates.

The screen burn in is an issue for all three phones you listed altough honestly it is more of an non-issue. Sure some burn in will happen a year or two from now on, but it's not as bad as it's used to be and is hardly noticeable anyway. Screen flickering being an issue is the first time I'm hearing of it: countless reviews haven't noted that either and I had the OP6 for almost a year and never experienced that. Consider that the S9 is significantly smaller than either Mate 20 and OnePlus 6. The anwser is pretty straightforward: if you care about camera, get the Mate 20 if you don't mind EMUI and an LCD screen. If you want a good all around package, get the S9 if you don't mind smaller but higher res screen. OnePlus 6 is also a good all around package but you miss stuff like wireless charging and IP rating. Personally, I'd get the OnePlus 6 since the S9 is just too small. I'd take the S9+ over the OnePlus 6, though. But if you're looking for a smaller phone in the first place, get the S9 instead. Mate 20 consider if you really into mobile photography but the S9/OP6 are not far behind, install gcam and you get basically just as good photos. The problem with Mate 20 is you have to suffer through EMUI and LCD screen but it's a fine device otherwise.

OnePlus 6 amoled screen is better than lcd screen on Iphone 8 plus-its sharper,deeper black,more vibrant,richer colors than Iphone: better performance on OnePlus(its faster,more fluid) and it will stay great for really long period,while iOS starts to slow down after year and a half.Camera is better on Iphone,but this one is also very good.Audio- thats the only big advantage for Iphone(but still not that great as audio on Htc)

RE the screen i quite like the overall screen size & display of the S8+. The iPhone 8 Plus has so many large top & bottom bezels which I may have difficulty adjusting to coming from an S8+. Re the camera...umm i don't know where to start. Is the iPhone 8 Plus video for both front & rear camera stabilized and videos just looks stable? Does the iPhone 8 Plus not overexpose or underexpose? Have great dynamic range even in direct sunlight or lowlight? Does it have near lossless zoom? i.e. the noise and the grain is kept to a minimal and detail is almost 100% retained? Does the selfie camera produces natural, true-to-life colours and not artificially enhanced like that of an AMOLED screen? On a separate note, do I need to wake up or unlock the iPhone's screen in order to use Apple Pay?

From my experience with all these phones not gonna lie to you iPhone 8 Plus way better when it comes to excellent accurate sharp screen, overall performance especially with gaming (gaming quality that runs always @60fps and has better graphics overall), more than 4 years direct update from Apple and last but not least better resale value in long run than any android phones around. The only thing you don’t gonna like that is 16:9 aspect ratio unlike new phones that comes with new aspect ratio like or plus, S8 or even iPhone X, XS max and XS.

Speaking of cam OnePlus 6 cameras are very good for that price I think the best you can find at the price range am using both the OnePlus 6 and the mate 20 pro when it comes to image quality is very difficult to chose between the two. Mate 20 pro might get the upper hand because of the wide angle lens apart from that there's no real difference between two. Front cam OnePlus 6 wins

You have to pay about 2 to even 3x the amount for the other flagships for a better camera. At that point, it's really hard to justify it. The camera isn't terrible at all as well, it's quite decent,m just not flagship level. But Oneplus are priced so low they aren't a flagship.

Well, it's pretty decent. It's still blazing fast after 1 year usage, thanks to Oxygen OS. All feature on this phone work just fine, except the camera. It's just not good enough, if you compare it with other flagship like Pixel 3, Note 9, Galaxy 9, Mate 20 Pro, etc. You need installing a gcam to improve Oneplus 6 camera performance (you can found it gcam on xda).

OnePlus 6 is an excellent smartphone to use. It just suits for a student like me and helps me a lot in my daily activities. The software experience you get in OnePlus is truly a beauty, cuz it just runs smooth and no lagging at all. The camera is really descent. You can get some great shots on this phone and its worth the money. The speakers are also great and when you listen to music-its incredible. Next comes the screen quality. People keep on criticizing the screen quality, but i am telling you the screen quality is great when compared to other phones, and i have no prob at all with it. I am very sure that I am able to use this excellent, durable and mesmerizing flagship device for another 4-5 years.

Got 1 year ago, everything are good, no lag, fast, decent camera quality. Oxygen os doing good job here. But if your's into VR or trying VR for fun, not good quality screen here, only got 400ppi compare to flagship phone to 550ppi. In my opinion 400 ppi not good for VR. I can see pixel dot and low experience with VR. Buy flagship if you want to trying it. This Not flagship contender, just flagship discount.

I've had one for a few months. "Performs like a Beast" -- accurate assessment. Battery is long lasting, charges super fast. Camera is excellent, but one complaint: when shooting into the sun an annoying little green spot shows up near the bottom of the image. I should be able to fix it with an image program though, so not too concerned yet. Overall great phone. I was planning on an iPhone for years, OnePlus 6T is probably just as good at half the price.

@Gino76ph Your phone should work in the UK. I've included the network frequencies used there and the Oneplus 6 covers all of those. I can't tell you about the updates, I think it is down to the provider you use.

Been using this since second week the device was launched without any issue, must say great quality from oneplus, however i was using iphone 6s earlier so i can feel the difference of bit of cost cutting to offer this exceptional device at an economical price. Rest in term of performance this Oneplus device did not dissappoint me at all, i play PUBG for like 6 to 7 hours continuously, it works smooth. However, battery drains like in 3 sessions of 30mins PUBG but that gets compensated by fast charging. Exceptionally good phone. There is a high chance my next device will be Oneplus 8.

I have found following 2 points on which one plus team should work.1) When you set alarm at some time, then alarm clock symbol is appearing in notification and not on screen near battery symbol this causes confusion, I.e whether alarm is properly set or not. Alarm clock symbol must appear on screen itself. 2) Like SMS telephone calls can not be deleted in bulk quantity ,say 5-6 calls On both above mentioned points one plus team should work out some solutions. I'm using OP6 since summer 2018. Overall great phone with superb performance and no lag whatsoever. Lately some minor problems occurred after update to Android Pie. Sometimes fingerprint is not registering my palm and wont turn the screen on. Also camera app freeze sometimes. I planned moving to OP6T but the difference is not so big, but money spread is big.

The OnePlus 6 is an amazing phone. Performance is second to none, battery life is great. (I usually get 1 1/2 to 2 days out of a charge). The build quality is also amazing. I've used loads of different phones up until the OP6 including Samsung and Apple but I think I'll be staying with OnePlus for the foreseeable future.

In past one and half months One plus team has introduced beta 7,8,9,1011 versions software upgrades for 1 plus 6 phone but it seems none of them is converted into stable version.Since I am not an expert in mobile operation I can not go in for beta versions updates.Hence I am deprived of benefits of beta versions updates.I have to rely on stable versions only.This make be case for many customers like me.So one plus team should release stable versions regularly and asap. I just bought used one plus 6 for 23k. I already have a poco F1. Frankly, one plus 6 software experience is something which you can feel only when you use it. No other phone comes near to it. It's a tad bit snappier than Poco F1, though, but it feels a lot more smooth than Poco F1. Op6 beats poco in terms of smoothness and looks. In every other department poco beats op6 hands down. Poco has much better camera and dynamic range than op6. And pixel3 gcam works much better in poco. So if you get a second hand op6 for 20k to 25k, it worth it. But 18k difference only for software smoothness, screen and looks only, it's not worth it. Do the math.

My OnePlus 6 device is not working properly since purchasing on 19th Aug'2018, which cropped up major problem since Nov'2018. Every call is cracked, making conversation impossible, camera flash & torch not at all working, overall horrible experience. I took the device to authorised service center in Guwahati twice on 19.11.2018 & 24.12.2018 without any improvement. Took up the matter with customer care and on their advice booked pick up & drop repair service on 31.12.2018. But ,it was not picked up till 4th Jan'2019 & on complaint to customer care, I was asked to recreate the request on 4th Jan'2019. Even after second request on 4th Jan'2019, the set is not picked up till 12th Jan'2019, despite everyday mail & call to Oneplus customer care & repair service agency Servify.com. Its totally horrible & frustrating experince.for me, a loyal customer earlier set being Oneplus 3. Despite all these , the customer care is not entertaining my requst for replacement . All these put up for valued intending customers for information only.

I also owned this phone and the more is use it the more i loved it. It does all the things you want to do. Awesome phone. Thumbs up Oneplus. But with the Mclaren addition of 6t they have raised their price bracket very much and i don't think i will be able to upgrade to OP7 in this year :(.

I use this phone for 8 months now. And I have to say I locve this phone! Its fast, smoth, animation looks good. It have great camera, last months they added which nightscale which most phones doesnt have and well as it doesnt work best, it does work. Lock opening the phone have fingerprint in all my use I never had problem whit unlocking this way, even though I used this mainly in night, because this phone have also great phone recognision. Display is great even though its 1080p (in my opinion its useless to have more, its only drain more batery). Over all This phone have one mistake and its mono speaker which I get used to it. It have some waterprof cuz I drop it into water on sec it still worked whitout problem when I took it out. So from me Its 9/10, But if you take in the price of the Phone its 10/10

This phone has excellent specifications. Its price is getting closer to apple phones. Problem is this manufacturer is dependent on google for OS - a big disadvantage. You control the hardware, but someone else controls the most important part. In the long run (short run now-a-days) it is a recepie for trouble.

OP 6 is a costly phone by average Indian buyer's standards. Figures maybe misleading although not all buyers give reviews. Poco F1 is a ugly phone. Period. I bought OP6 instead. Notch of Poco F1 is so obnoxious that every time I want to buy it, the oversretched notch puts me off. Poco F2 will surely be a better display or else it will be a disaster for Xiaomi. Of course. OP6 is a overpriced and 6T is exorbitantly priced.

I bought this phone 5 months ago and touch latency was really good back on oreo but when pie was released and specifically 9.0.2 and here i started to notice the jittery scrolling and bad touch latency So i think it might be fixed by a software update hopefully..

There is no facility for selective deleting phone calls in one plus 6.You have to either delete phone calls individually or total /complete deletion of phone calls.

Hi, I am using this mobile for more than 3 months now. Of late, I am facing a unique problem. Whenever I am trying to do a conference call i.e. adding another person in an existing call, the first caller is unable to hear me. I am using the same Vodafone sim for the past 8 years or so and call conference facility is activated by the service provider. This seems to be a new development, may be 10 to 15 days, and I am unable to find any solution. Please advise.

You seem to already know the answer. Oneplus 6 is better at basically everything except maybe selfie camera but mate 20 lite is cheaper. I would say the honor play is better/same as than mate 20 lite in almost everything but camera and it is the same price or cheaper, and then the honor play isn't too far away from oneplus 6, maybe even beats it considering the price tag. But for mate 20 lite, its basically just very expensive for what you get, as the chipset is found on way cheaper phones, but the cameras are supposed to be really good. Doesn't record 4k tho Honor play and mate 20 lite should both beat oneplus 6 on battery life, but it would be close. Most people prefer oxygen os to emui, so oneplus 6 would win that one quite easily. And obviously oneplus 6 is the fastest, although honor play won't be too far behind with kirin 970 and mate 20 lite only has kirin 710 so that will be left behind there.

U probablu use app OnePlus community that collects flash images- u will find those photos in file manager-foler oneplus(u ll see a lot of numbers here,press any numbe to open photo)-delate this folder by pressing that folder and then u ll see option to delate-use community via web,not the app: do not intal cleaner it has system cleaner- settings-advanced-recent app managment-by default its normal clean-dont change it to deeper clean.

The thing I like about one plus there software almos stock android no bloatware that killing the battrey or kills the performance of the phone and no useless SD card that the fastest SD card still runs slower than internal storage nand flash, camera are really good in some scene actullay better than lot of flagship android espically with accurate colors and skin tune. The only think wish one plus care more about it the touch latency still not as good as galaxy and iPhone.

Can anyone help me choose between the OnePlus6 & Galaxy S9? I currently own the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which I've had for the past 4 years, and I've been saving money for a new phone since the past 3-4 months. I'm someone who keeps his phone for 2-3 years at least. I listen to music and browse YouTube A LOT, an avid user of social media too. Am a moderate gamer and photographer. The battery should be enough to last at least a single day or till the evening. Don't use NFC. I want the phone to be fluid and stutter free for the time that I'd have it. The Alpha I own legit has a pathetic battery life which has me charging it AT LEAST 4-5 times a day! Had it not been for that, a lousy selfie camera, constant stutters and lags here and there from the last year or so, and a recently damaged 3.5mm jack I'd still keep my Alpha. So battery life is very important for me.

OnePlus 6 if you are looking for OS speed, updates, biger screen (in comparison with regular S9 not S9+). Samsung S9 if you are looking for camera quality, screen quality, smaller phone. I had Samsung and I miss quality in the photos, but the OnePlus speed for gaming , Android pie gestures ROCKS... meanwhile samsung still working on a decent interface like One.

I own a 5T but I imagine that the operation fot the 6 will be the same. Recovery Mode: 1) Turn OFF the phone and restart by holding the Vol Down button and then press and hold the Power button until the phone vibrates. 2) A Qwerty keyboard will appear. Type in your 4 digit PIN number and press Ok. 3) Select your Language from the menu. 4) Select 'Wipe data and cache' 5) Select 'cache' and then Yes 6) Wait for phone to clean the cache partition and then select 'Reboot'

I emailed this battery issue one plus facebook id.. they responded me in few hours.. They told me to.. Switch Off the phone, Then after sometime Press VolumeUp and power button and then Select Recovery mode, then select language, Then Wipe cache data, Then clear cache only, and then reboot the phone.. this will solve fast battery drain issue.. I had done this after 9.0.2 oxygen os update.. My battery life with SOT increased to approx 6hr. After clearing Cache.. U all can try this

With iPhone 7 Plus you get iOS if you prefer it to Android and IP67. You also get the usual slow but smooth performance and low idle battery drain. I want to say that iPhones have better support but the 7 Plus is already 2 years old at this point so you can expect 2-3 years of updates which would be the same as what you will get on the OnePlus 6T. Evidence being the OnePlus 3 getting 2.5 years worth of system updates, OP1 and OP2 2 years. With a OnePlus 6T you get a much bigger, better OLED screen in the same form-factor, in-display fingerprint scanner, faster but less secure face unlock, newer SoC, better camera, more storage, so much RAM hardly any app reloads (see at youtube iPhone X with 3GB of RAM struggling with multitasking, same as the 7 Plus). Battery will be slightly better on the 6T as 6 ~ iPhone 7 Plus and 6T has an extra 400mAh. In short: iPhone 7 Plus: iOS, IP67, lower idle battery consumption, somewhat(?) smoother OnePlus 6T: better screen, in-display fingeprint scanner, faster SoC, better camera, more storage, more memory, better battery life

New Pie update drains battery fast, One plus gives the option to go back to Oreo version 5.1.11. BUT even after switching back to 5.1.11 it has same poor battery performance. Oneplus deliberately changed original 5.1.11 so that even after rolling back to 5.1.11 battery remains poor. Battery is completely fine. See there are multiple factors deciding the performance. How much internet you are using, how much time you have kept your net on, especially 4G ow wifi on etc. Plus it's only two days. There would be probably 2-3 recharge cycle you may have performed. Give time it will get stable and then check after 2 weeks if you are getting atleast 5 and half hrs sot or not.

Obviously OnePlus 6 is better... much faster, quite a bit better battery life, camera is similar but video is a bit better on OnePlus, screen is obviously larger, OP6 with 1080p and S8 with 1440p. Also the OP's android is more optimized than on S8. I'd go with Oneplus 6 every time ;) Btw check other specs! Much better cpu, gpu, double the ram, more storage and more :P

It's fast and reliable. My only problem is with the sound. Sometimes the call volume won't change, even if I change the slider from the top to bottom. Sometimes it gets stuck on call volume after I've hung up the phone. It won't connect to my Bluetooth speaker even though it says it's connected. Sometimes it thinks I have headphones in when I don't. Other than that, I have no complaint. I love the picture in picture.

I have a huge problem. After I updated from 8.1 to 9.0 Pie, my snapchat is crashing and camera is acting very weirdly, a lot of times it doesn't work (there's just black screen) and i have to force close the app. Also if I open camera after I close snapchat, there's just black screen. But then after awhile it works again. Super weird! I reinstalled the app, but didn't help. It must be the software thing because hardware works perfectly. (None of that was happening with the 8.1 android. Any idea? :(

After the Pie upgrade it happened twice in last week in the middle of the night i keep my phone close to my pillow and when i touched my phone at around 2:30am it was so hot that it was even difficult to hold it in my hands , i thought some app may be draining my battery so i cleared all recent apps and also checked the battery usage but ther was no app which was consuming battery At this point my battery was 30% and when i again woke up at 5:30am the battery was 6% and again no app showing battery usage and yesterday night the same thing happened i felt it so hot in the middle of the night so all i did was just restarted my phone and then it was fine in the morning no heatup no battery drain. Note - some told me to not to put my phone under pillow but when my phone was on oreo i use to keep it under my pillow never felt any heatups

Software support. Most phones like the XiaoMi only have software support for 2 years. Unlike Apple, Oneplus, Google and such they provide lifetime software support for theyre flagships titles. Softwares need to keep up in time so once a phone reached its 2 year support the next year or so the phone will encounter problems like unoptimized , unsupported apps and such.

I bought a One Plus in February this year but it lost signal completely in July, I sent it to HK local maintenance center but got a notice that I would be charged HKD$ 1973, it was bought at HKD$4080, its advertisement claimed that the device could be the most cost-effective mobile phone at the time, it performed quite well before broken, but after negotiating with the OnePlus representative in HK, still no pay no repair, but according to its warranty is 1 year, it seems they were just saying it, it does not really mean any warranty, this is the typical Chinese style trap, before buying it, you could get a warranty, however, after paying the bill, you would find that you have to pay for the warranty, for my case, almost half of the original price. This is a real case which is posted here just wanting to warn some potential buyers that the warranty would not be real, just joking. Just like its brand: OnePlus, it implies that you buy one but potentially to pay more...

Oneplus 6 is best smartphone in premium range , I was using Motorola a year back and than switched to Oneplus 5T . after that used Redmi Note 5 and just replaced it with oneplus 6. Speed ,Performance, battery ,camera ,build quality everything you need . Don't go for cheap Xiaomi - It will not give you regular update and battery performance and camera quality is worse .

I don't like OP6. I had to look up on the net to find a way to transfer images amd song to it. That's ridiculous. It also doesn't work well with Line app. Notification never show up same as FB, messages read but still show number as unread.

I have the Oneplus 6, bought right on day of the launch, I don't think its a massive upgrade to OP6T, because: - No headphone jack (yes, its a deal breaker) - the in-screen fingerprint sensor won't be as fast as the rear mounted, i feel it'll have a small lag to unlock, and i prefer on the back which is super fast - Same CPU, same RAM, same Storage (no change) - Not much difference of battery. - About the triple camera, well, I don't know for real, if they make it take like Note 9 or P20 Pro, it'll be a good thing, but if they just put one more camera for those "tiny" things that nobody cares and not for low light pictures which its what they must do) Well honestly I would suggest to get the OnePlus 6, And the price will drop after the release. For me, it's more a marketing thing But we know how the human brain works, everyone want the latest stuff if we can afford

Hey not very sure about camera comparison but last year OP 5t was easily head to head with the G6 and in many cases came out better than G6. You can check mkbhd camera blind test on YouTube. Hey thanks for the reply. I eventually bought OP6 and its just great. Fast performance, camera is good at this price point and just below Galaxies, Pixels and iPhone. But the camera shots are definitely great and would come in top 5 mobile. Display though only FHD but is very bright and clear. S8 and S9 have too much reflection due to curve. Battery life is acceptable not that great but with dash charging its no problem. Also Oxygen OS is great almost stock with little enhancements. Anyone else thinking of buying this phone go ahead and buy with confidence or can wait for 6t. Also those comparing this phone with poco please understand that on performance they might be same but camera stock android and overall package i feep OP 6 is better. Basically both phones are proper as per their prices. But personally speaking if you can afford OP6 then buy it and you will enjoy next 2 to 3 years for sure or go for poco that is a decent buy as well.

i cant really say the same for my experience, my f1 is running great. i have f1, mi8, note 9, iphone x, xperia xz2 compact, vivo nex, oppo find x, and huawei p20 pro and mate 10 pro. they all perform great and not very laggy as you say. even speedtests would suggest that the difference of speed on these phones are not substantial regardless of price. a second difference of op 6 from the speed of poco doesnt mean the poco is very laggy.

I accidentally dropped my phone in water and it stopped working. The phone was brand new that I got it 3 months ago. Bought directly from the official site. After a small drop the back cracked, and after a quick drop in water it never turned on again. The rest of our family has iphones and galaxies so those are much better and would not have died so quickly. Waste of money. Stay away. I could have spent money on samsung galaxy or iphone x even though those glass backs would have broken too and they're IPF certified waterproof

The problem mentioned are much of the compatibility issue, more on the software side rather than on hardware, and those issue happen on Samsung S9+ as well, not exclusively on Oneplus 6. These thing happen as there are so much WiFi gear, Bluetooth device, Telco Carrier with different LTE band, and mostly got to troubleshoot with different brand of smartphone and different Android version only to find out. To my surprise, some of the issue are of Android version itself, newer not exactly means better, and there are bugs inside these Android OS, particular on the compatibility issue. Here is the thing, for WiFi, there are much on how the OS and skin manage the WiFI connection, some implementation due to power saving, or over refresh detection, it can disconnect the current WiFi connection without any notice. The router itself sometime also has some kind of compatible issue, where it doesn't work well with certain brand of WiFi chip on smartphone. For Bluetooth, there is compatibility issue between the older Bluetooth standard and new Bluetooth standard. I have many Bluetooth gears as well, some just don't want to connect properly with the newer phone with newer Android OS, but connect perfectly fine on older smartphone with older Android OS. Then, carrier related issue with call drop, and signal, it can be carrier issue as well. Coverage and signal strength, and also bandwidth throttling also play huge role here, and it won't solely be the phone issue. All these mostly come down to the standardization issue. Yes, I agree, the quickest solution would be changing for a new phone or other brand smartphone that works right out of the box rather than hoping for software fix, not necessary means getting Samsung S9+ will have the issue solve.

One plus 6 is not all glory and sunshine as you think.It is having its own shortfalls.1) Telephone calls can't be deleted in bulk quantity, you have to delete every call individually.2) How to make conference calls,if you have to speak to 2-3persons at a time (atleast i have not found).3) Panorama photos can not be taken in landscape mode but only in portrait mode which is quite irritating. My genuine review after using this phone nearly for a month... 1.BODY: Build quality of Oneplus 6 is best in this price range. I really love the design and its premium feel in the hands. Especially the red variant is just amazing. 2.CALLING: All basic features are well doing and no hanging issues at all. I have tested the call quality and loudness of earpiece. compared to previous devices of Oneplus, OP6 performed well. No call disturbances and noise issues. Earpiece produces clear voice call quality. 3.DISPLAY: The second thing that I love about this smartphone is, its huge beautiful display. 6.28" tall AMOLED display gives you better viewing angles and enough pixel density. Though it comes with a FHD display, it looks like Samsung's QHD screen. And touch is very smooth. There are some minute keyboard errors which I have noticed, but are negligible. It could be better if it is provided with QHD display, which should be included for premium smartphones. 4.OS & PERFORMANCE: Yeah... The most curious segment. Believe me guys, even high end and expensive phones couldn't compete with my OP6. It is a real flagship killer. If you are a speed lover and wanna experience a liquid smooth performance, blindly go for it. Snapdragon 845 gives you an ultimate performance on OP6. Opening apps at best speed. Whatever the headphone you plug to it, it never satisfy your music lust. Music quality is really bad in headphones. I have tried all kind of equalizers and audio tuners, but of no improvement. If you are a music lover, go for LG V35 or Samsung S9. 9.SPEAKER: Though it comes with a single speaker, volume is loud enough and there's a little noise is observed as well.. 10.SECURITY: Security patch up level still in July. Face recognition is amazing. 11.FINGERPRINT SENSOR: Works pretty well and very fast. Sometimes it takes a little time but mostly it unlocks in no time. 12.PERSONALISATION: As it comes with plain stock android UI, you can't personalise your device much. But reasonable personalisation features are included. Do not expect the level of personalisation as you do in Samsung and LG devices. 13.GAMING: Gaming experience is smooth and no lagging. I have tried heavy games like Asphalt 8 and NFC. All are played with no reloading problems. 14.DURABILITY: Because I'm not a rich guy, I did not perform any stunts with this phone. But the phone's body feels strong enough to survive from accidental falls and kicks. It could be better if the waterproof feature is included. 15.VALUE FOR MONEY: At this price range, most of the premium features are included with this device. So OP6 is a budget flagship amongst. Can't agree anymore. There are part of the world where Oneplus 6 is sold at very expensive price, simply is not twice of S9+. There are grey import and official unit too. Official unit are much more expensive then the grey import counter part, but official unit has official local 1 year warranty, where else grey import are shop warranty only, repairing are done by shop, which may not as good, this is also where people complain of bad customer support on Oneplus smartphone.

This might be the Android version and BT version issue, not specifically is phone issue. I found old phone has less of these compatible issue. I would say newer phone's Bluetooth audio may not properly compatible to older gear. This happen to one of my sound system too, where up to Android 6.0, no problem, but has problem (no sound at all) after updated to Android 7.0 and Android 8.0. My other phone that stuck at Android 5.0 and 6.0 works flawlessly.

I have been using the Silk White OnePlus 6 here in California since its release, and I have not noticed a single issue that other users have mentioned. I am using it on Cricket Wireless (AT&T) and have never had any connectivity issues what so ever. I was using a Motorola Moto X Pure for 1.5 years before coming to this phone. So far I am thoroughly pleased, this phone is blazing fast and I haven't had any hiccups. My battery normally lasts me a day and a half with heavy use.

Just want to give opinion here, but not arguing which phone are the best, as I know phone such as Redmi Note 5 AI, and ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 are considered good phone to own, but want to point out the best bang for bucks phone available in my country regardless of actual owning value. 1. The best price per performance ratio phone, I would give to HTC U Ultra, simply it is now sold under USD 240, I'm talking about all new device, not second hand. It pack SD 821, 2K screen. 2. At slightly upper USD 300, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, 128GB, Xiaomi Mi Mix 128GB, and Xiaomi Mi 5S/ Mi 5S Plus, all using SD821 are the second bangs for buck phone. These despite just pack outdated SD821, are simply powerful enough for normal usage. There is also Honor 8 Pro with Kirin 960. 3. At price around USD 350, honor brand grab the whole lead here, the newly released Honor Play, then Honor 10, Honor View 10, all packed flagship grade Kirin 970 processor, are the one to go to enjoy flagship grade performance at mid range price. before purchasing one plus 6 I heard that it's camera is amazing but when I am using I got to know few other phones have better camera than this. also Mi launches y2 which is exactly same. same feature just one plus having more internal memory and more ram than y2. the oneplus 6 is great phone and a good value. but customer service is a run around and a big delay i recieved my new oneplus 6 with a spec of dust under the screen protector. After several emails and photos and more emails showing and telling them the bubble is under the screen protector oneplus support tells me to wipe it away? I'm finally told to purchase a new screen projector from 1+ for $19. Great phone but customer service is as frustrating and in the end you will not be treated like a customer, you are a source of income.

The OnePlus 6 is one of the best phones out there, and as a bonus, it's cheaper than the other flagship phones (cheaper, with the same stats😜). I love this phone to bits. The only thing I'd want to change is the notch comparability with apps such as Snapchat and Instagram. The notch area blocks and moves the screen a bit, but this is barely noticeable (no biggy). This can easily be fixed with a software update. Although there is no additional micro SD card slot the storage is fine. Even with the 64GB it's hard to fill the space. The camera also has a great quality. Even though there's no IP rating on the water resistance, this phone still works better than others in the rain and when you sweat in the gym with the phone in your pocket. This phone is absolutely worth it🔥

In terms of performance, the OnePlus 6 beats out the S9+ as it lacks bloatware apps that is otherwise present on the samsung S9+, plus it uses an almost stock version of android though not something you can easily say as being stock, of course it is not without its drawbacks, The camera for this one is meh and ok for the price, but not something that can beat out the S9+ and the Google Pxl2. Also to be considered is that even though it wont' rival the s9+ in the camera department it could definitely hold it's own against's those phones...

Depends on your budget. If it's low you can get the OP 6. Even if it's higher you can still get it, plus money leftover. Otherwise, S9+ essentially does everything the OP 6 can, with additional stuff like IP67 water resistance, stereo speakers and wireless charging, although OP 6 gets more regular software updates and Android security patches. Mine is on the July patch, while my friend's S9+ is still on the May patch. Also, Oxygen OS sticks very close to stock Android, and the only piece of bloatware you get is the OnePlus Community forums which are quite useful as well.

I was confuse between white and red bt ended up with white if you got chance to get your hands on red and white do compare it before buying. Glossy is also cool but not as good as white or red. choose between either of the two but dont go with midnight black

My user experience so far, after several months of using OnePlus 6 and with latest update (Oxygen 5.1.9): OS: very fast, responsive and fluid, everything is loading fast and in most cases its 8GB of ram are doing their job brilliantly. I have some complains, though: 1. The apps, rarely, but it happens, are closing unexpectedly. 2. Sometimes it can't load a game from memory, despite its 8GB of ram, you have to close it and reopen it. To be honest, I've never had this kind of problems with Cyanogen based OP One. Camera: after 5.1.9 update is more than ok, a big step forward. More than satisfied (comparig the price of OP6 with other flagships prices). Battery life: I'm gaming a lot on my phone. With bluetooth activated most of the time and a mix between WI-FI and mobile data I have about 6h+ SOT with about 22h of standby life. It's still a small step back from the first software it came with (same 6h+ SOT with about 26h standby time), but given the other benefits the newer software have, I think it's more than satisfactory. PS: Dash charge is a BEAST, YOU DON'T NEED wireless charging when you get about 30% of battery life in 10-15 mins. Conclusion: I'm more than satisfied with the phone, I knew what I got when I got it, I knew that it's not comparable in ALL departments with S9+ or PIXEL 2XL, that 300 euro gap in price have to come from somewhere. But, overall, I totally recommend it given its price/capabilities as a phone that will not let you down for ad least 3 years. But I fell that they hit the upper limit of the price, IF OnePlus phones will get more expensive than this they will not be competitive with other Chinese brands (Like XIAOMI, for example, their phones and computers are amazing, but I don't like their OS and the lack of headphone jack).

As you can see OP6 has a glass back and what does glass do when subjected to a certain amount of force? Break. It doesn't break on it's own obviously, there should be an external force that makes them crack/ break. You can always buy a phone case to protect your phone, good cases aren't so expensive. I'd say it is cheaper than having your phone repaired.

My unbiased view of the phone based upon 1 day usage is as follows. Pro''s : smooth performance and feels powerful while typing text. The apps also open up pretty fast. Battery life seems good atleast on 1 days usage, 4g wifi service works well, even the one which is provided by telecom service provider. Dash charger helps recharge phone in super fast speed and once the phone is at 100% capacity, effective talk time or internet based usage allows upto 7 to 8 hours of continuous usage. Hands free talking on the phone is pretty good. Now the Cons: camera could have been better as image quality is not all that great. The size of the screen and slim built of the phone can make it a little slippery to hold by one hand. The speaker is based at the bottom and while gaming one tends to accidentally cover the socket, so audio gets muffled. Guess having the speaker anywhere else might make it even more awkward, but sharing an opinion what i faced (as not many people use their phone for gaming purpose) would have been a very good buy if price was around 30K. At current prices i feel the phone needs to work upon the drawbacks mentioned above

You can't compare iPhone and a android device. If you buy a Apple product you are tie up to their eco system like iTunes iCloud Apple music or even their App stores. So you have to decide if that's for you. but on the other hand If I'm a android user OnePlus6 is a beast and a fabulous android device with Speed and quality and a reasonable price tag to justify. If you want an overall generic phone, that isn't very trendy, but has stereo speakers, wireless charging and an IP 67 rating, go with the iPhone 8 Plus. Everything else, including faster speed, larger display, headphone jack, newer and trendier design, as well as saving 400 Euros with double the RAM, go with the OnePlus 6, which I am using right now, and can confirm that I have been liking it very much and have not regretted getting it one bit. P.S. Dash charging is a beast, 65% for me in 30 mins, very good for a quick top up.

This isn't even a question. Yes its far better. You should have understood that from the price tag, the 1+6 is more than twice the price of the redmi 5 pro. The difference in the CPU's is huge, you will notice very different gaming experiences where the 1+6 will be able to hold steady 60 fps without dipping whereas the redmi will dip frames a lot more often in a more games. Anyways, if you have the money to spend, the 1+6 is a better buy, but if you want a budget phone, definitely the redmi.

I would prefer the Xiaomi Mi 8 over this phone. Compactness is a big deal for me as well as battery life. The Mi 8 is a bit more compact than the OnePlus 6 and has much better battery life, according to GSM Arena's battery life tests. Both have SD845. Use portrait penora . when portrait panorama stitch picture, photo's height reduces, but when you make panorama in portrait , you will get more height( width ) and after stitch you will get more high ( width ) of photo, so it is more useful , that's why the feature has been removed ( actually not required )

Hi I'm using an Sennheiser HD 598CS open ear headphones, 50 ohm with my OP6, sound clarity is really good, Dirac gives a punchy bass and high mids. Soundstage is really spead-out with excellent reproduction of classial instruments. Also listen to EDM, and YouTube HQ music files, I have been able to discover newer sounds which I never heard b4. Youn't need any external amplifier with this setup, I used to use it on a Samsung note 4, I had to turn up the volume up to 100% to get a good output..here only need to crank up the volume up to 60%..so yeah you should be good with a Sony.

When you say dual sim about any phone, please explicitly mention the compatibility of each slot to be specific. One slot having 4G LTE and another just supporting 2G makes a lot of differences compare to both slots supports 4G LTE. These are decision making factor when you intended to buy dual sim phones.

This review is regarding the bad customer service. Bought oneplus6 a few weeks back, however due to some financial problems I had to return it and this is where the problems started. If you initiate a return request, you get a email saying the phone will be inspected within 2 business days and will need 1 day to initiate the refund policy. Today it's the second week and when I spoke with the customer care executive I got to know that, my request has not even been initiated. This is a very bad sign of false promises being done to the customers. This is a very serious issue as getting the refund for my phone involves a quite lot of mount of my hard earned money. Very very dissatisfied with oneplus customer service.

While I have no experience with the Mate, I have been using a OP6 for about a month now and have put the camera through its paces as I too was worried about its speculated performance. From what I found, if you shoot in pro mode, you should be able to adjust for most situations. Standard mode with adjusting only focus and exposure, you can still do a lot. Pictures with good light are pretty amazing. The quality, detail and color representation is beutiful and 100% on a flagship level. It's when you get to low light you start to have a couple problems. Either you don't have enough light or there is too much "noise" behind you and the blacks and natural colors get washed out. Over all, I would rate this camera a 7/10. The slow motion is pretty awesome, videos are stable and vibrant, portrait mode works well (not the very best, but well) and the front facing camera is good but has a little bit of a hard time in lowlight. It gets washed out if a light source is behind you or above you. I will say this, if the Camera is the only thing keeping you from getting the OP, I would go wtih the OP. The camera is actually pretty good except for in low light. You have to do a lot of adjusting and manual work in low light to get a good picture. If you are someone who is VERY VERY picky about photos and every detail about how they come out and want every picture to be absolutely stunning.....the OP may not be the phone (bare in mind, it certainly isn't a pixel. It can compete, but it isn't a pixel). But if you are looking for solid, good looking photos with good color depth and stunning detail MOST of the time, the OP is your phone. After having it for a month, I would say the camera is not a deal breaker unless you are SUPER passionate about getting THE PERFECT shot every time you pull the phone out. It does struggle a little compared to other high end phones, but I don't consider it a deal breaker. In good lighting, it is an AMAZING camera.

Sorry. Forgot. There has been one reoccuring problem though. I have 2 SIMs in it. Different countries and different providers. When I am talking on one and somebody calls on the other, then they say, its like calling to nowhere. Nothing happens, no sounds or anything and the call just drops. Its more of an annoyance, then a problem for me, as by now most of the callers know about this, but it is something to keep in mind, if You need both SIM:s and are constantly on the phone. But I do not know, if this will happen when you have same provider for both numbers and/or some other factors that might be the reason for this.

I have been using 5T for 4 months now. Previous phone was HTC One M8 Plus (I do need 2 SIM cards). What a difference. The difference in battery capacity and ease of use. No stupid manufacturer added OS and such (well there is a little, but nothing to whine about). Camera is okay, not great, but it is okay. I am using it mainly for "normal" use, phone, spotify, waze, BT and WiFi at home, etc And what was barely a day with HTC, its now 1.5 days to 2 days (but that of course is totally user related). Really fast charge and very little energy usage on WiFi and BT. I haven`t had any issues with it yet (well, dropped it and shattered the glass somewhat 1 month in and haven´t really figured out how and what to do, but its not a major crack and doesn´t interfere usage, just something I have to address at some point). Unfortunately, little extra remark here, had to deal with HTC customer service and that was SO crappy, that I will NEVER EVER buy another HTC product. But OnePlus 5T so far has been a blast and probably much more capable than I will have need for.

Such bullshit, I had the X, it has only face id to unlock that does not always work, it also has no button gestures that works fine but feels slow sometimes, I like oneplus o button gestures much better. Oneplus has a less safe face id but so fast that you don't even have the time to blink. Overall both are flawless speedy phones but with that extra ram oneplus it's smother. IPhone X is nice but far from worth buying. If you really need booring iOS with no customization at all sure wait for the next iphone. Hopefully it will have a Fingerprint sensor somewhere. I owned oneplus 6 for more then a month it's the best android phone I ever used.

Never had this problem, you might need to get settings from your carrier or manually set it like I had to. Had only 2G for a while because I needed some settings provided by my carrier and they couldn't send it out. But most carriers have a guide how to to it manually :)

Their is lot of issues with network connectivity. It doesn't show 4G it always shows 2G though their is 4G network available. The problem is for couple of seconds 4G will display then again it will switch back to 2G and it is happening continuously.

Got this phone for 2 weeks now and in my opinion it's really a great phone and I love it! Few cons I noticed in the first week was the mobile stability and call quality which was fixed after the 5.1.8 update thank goodness! Camera is above avg but just noticed that in lowlight it switches to the other rear camera that works ok on object but shows an amount of noise for human subject. same with video camera switches when you use FHD/4K at 60fps, it's darker but less noise. Overall it's still way better compared to my other phones :) real value for the buck. No wireless charging (good to have) for those who need it well I don't, the phone gives me a decent 20% left for 1 day. Dash charge is just simply awesome!

Bro, mine is updated to latest version. Android 8.1 with Oxygen OS 5.1.8 android patch May 2018. And to be honest on data and wifi browsing, facebook, whatsapp, twitter, viber and instagram can last for 3 straight days. You have to open your Developer Option to optimise your phone.

It takes almost as good low-light pictures as the Samsung S9+ seen many people test this and I think it's good. You don't get a better camera at this price. It can seem a bit dark sometimes but just turn of the flash then, it's not a big issue.

No? Price is all too good for what you get. It's not the software or pre installed apps that cost money. You should not even bought oneplus because you seriously don't understand the concept of the phone. To put your phone in mute, vibrate or sound you have a slider on the side of the phone. It's one of the phones best futures. So easy to use :). You also have do not disturb in the app drawer, you can also press the pensil icon and choose what you like. This phone is made from the best and latest parts for a good price and with help of the oneplus community. If you want you can actually go to the oneplus community app that you have pre-installed. There you can ask for more help or even post futures you like to be added. Like the things you complain about. I have been using this phone for about two weeks now and it is awesome.at first,I was skeptical about buying this phone because of the notch,but the more I used it,I realised that the notch doesn't really get in the way of how I use the phone.the screen is pretty awesome and there's even an option on the display settings to hide the notch,which I honestly haven't even used once...most off the apps I use usually hide the notch well and displays the app on the screen pretty well.for those who like a full screen experience can enable the feature individually for each app in their own setting.this phone isn't for people who are nitpicky about or have a problem with phone displays with notches.if you are one of those people,you're better off getting other phone brands that have 18:9 srcreens without a notch and there are many available now.

Is there like a game that you want people to specifically try out? And at what brightness level? Since, as you know, brightness level is not a small factor when talking about temperature. I play mostly Japanese games, 3D and 2D ones, the device gets warm at most, never gets hot, during every session. I was playing Dragonball lengends(on high setting) for like half-an-hour last night, and although the phone was definitely not cool to the touch, it was also definitely not warm, it was kinda in between. The only time I remember the device getting hot was when I was outdoor using my phone under very bright sun at around noon time while I was waiting for a friend to join me for lunch. (the temperature that day was over 30 degrees C.)

The way I see it, the only advantage of s9 over oneplus 6 is camera and dual speakers. The advantage of oneplus 6 over s9 is software, speed, charging speed. Mate 10 pro offers great camera, dual speakers, higher battery capacity, fast charging speed like oneplus 6 but not good software like oneplus 6 and the processor is slower in mate 10 pro benchmarks wise.

I never had a oneplus ,I would buy one as soon they make one with longer battery ..around 4000mah at least and a usb c 3.1.. it`s very important for me as I watch the phone on tv with a charged cable adaptor.. I know huawei , htc sony..I hate samsung, functions good but overpriced ...very poor quality..

It's depends what you want, if you want speed and better selfie for example it's better than note 8, on the other hand if you want s-pen and screen resolution then you go for note 8

Yes, Of course, Because it is going to have latest Android version and as usual fastest phone on planet till 6t arrives. It also have better camera than S8 plus and Note 8. In every aspect it is far better but just a little sacrifice in display which is not a big deal for me.If you know, In note 8 default screen resolution is fullhd 1080p if you want higher resolution you have to change it from settings . Higher resolution makes mobile slow. Coming to brightness of pannel which is amazing in OnePlus 6 and best Amold 1080p display.

Moving from Samsung to OnePlus was a very tough decision. I had all top models including the note 8 + s9+! Yes, I change phones on regular basis anyway since I got my OnePlus 6 mirror black I cannot believe how good it is! I just bought this to give it a try and I'm going to use it as my primary phone. I ordered my phone from Islamabad to Lahore and the shipment was really quick. Also there was a screen protector and gel case in the box which I did not expect. I've using this phone a few weeks now and overall excellent performance and battery life. I'm going to rate it 9.5/10.

In the UK the OnePlus 6 was and still is £469 for the base model, coming up to the 3rd week after release. The S9 was £739 and dropped in price after 3 weeks, but now could be got for £607 which is still just under 30% more than the OnePlus. I've been using the OnePlus since launch and definitely belive it offers value for money when compared to the likes of the Samsung, Sony, LG and the other flagships.

You are absolutely rite. OnePlus devices are becoming expensive every year. But so as other companies devices. As you mentioned in Germany I would have definitely bought S9 as the cost difference is negligible. But its not the same everywhere. In India OP6 base varient costs almost 340$ lesser than S9. In these cases and taking update history of samsung after their next Flagship device OP6 is the better option. PS: I do have an S7 edge for my secondary device. And I am not a fanboy of any manufacturer. I just give credit where it belongs.

No one buying iPhones will buy an OnePlus, it's a completely different Operating System. It's like saying someone always playing on PC would switch to console because it's cheaper. Or someone loving his Mercedes would buy a Skoda because it has better value.

There are almost no stores selling this phone, so there is no price competition between stores and the price stays the same. The price of S9 fell from € 850 at start to € 542 by now. The price of OnePlus 6 stayed € 520 over a month, and isn't likely to get cheaper anytime soon. If you say that OnePlus 6 was only selling for one month, then the S9 still fell in price that month, because last month, it was € 590. And I'm not a Samsung fanboy or anything, I use an iPhone and iPad and Mac and Apple Watch and all that. I picked the S9 because it's just the benchmark in the Android world, which in theory means you pay more for it. this is a really solid package, I have been a nexus 4,5,6p user this phone is unreal, minimal bloatware, more like slight tweaks to the UI..battery life is unreal..its is supposed be water resist but not certified like Iphone's were when they came out with water resist features.

Ok no I was wrong, 30sek, 1min, then 5min in a bowl. only problem was speaker and a little blurr in front camera. Then 30 min in 1meter of water in a pool. Worked but acted wierd and was a lot of water inside. After 2 weeks you could see the water damage and the phone was dead.So DO NOT drop this in water or swim with it. It can survive rain and fast drops in water. Would not recommend anything esle!

Well I saw a video where a guy tested this. It survived to be in water for like 5 minutes without problem. Then he tried 30 minutes and first test was in a bowl and the front camera got a little blurry. After that he tested 1 meter for 30 minutes and the phone got alot of water inside, still worked but both cameras had become really blurry because of water. He then said he will completely dry it and after 2 weeks of non use the phone it was dead and all that worked was the vibration. So with that said, do not swim with this phone or drop it in water for a long time! It can handle rain and quick drops in water.

You should look into battery optimization settings for those apps. I don't have the phone myself but the options should be in Settings -> Battery -> (Something called battery optimization, saver etc.). Turn off any optimizations and restart those apps.

No you can use the charger whenever. I dont charge overnight and try to keep my battery between 20-90% all the time. That's how you take care of your battery :)

Bought it about a week ago. Coming from an LG G6 which also had a 3300 mah battery, this so far seems substantially better. Use the phone off and on at work during the day then about 3 hours in the evening streaming videos and accessing social media. Usually finish the day with around 40-45% left. I'm quite pleased with the battery, and I am a moderately heavy user.

The problem with not having card slot is that some people keep their pictures in SD card and the card is shared between devices(DSLR) etc and they are super weird about cloud storage and prefer to just change cards

what all those companies dont understand is that it is not about features alwasy. most people including myself dont switch to others from iphone is because of the operating system on iphones. Until someone figures this out, apple will be ahead. I would want to change and get his cheaper phone with better specs than iphone, but I am not ready to give up the simple, bug free and beautiful design for something else. This is the reality for many people.
