Oppo A5 (2020) - User Reviews

  • It's the Hardware problem. Update won't fix anything. I have the same phone, no such issues. Please never buy stuff online or from an unknown dealer. Only get them from Well known Dealers.

  • There is no night mode at all.....where is night mode???

  • camera quality very poor, very bad, waste of money..

  • This phone currently has a bug, everytime you use 3.5mm jack the screen will be unresponsive and has ghost touch I have contacted the service center, they said will release an update to fix it, release date unknown though

  • I bought it, and regret. -the cameras very poor, must install Gcam. -the screen feel unstable, sometimes it not responsive, sometimes it too responsive. -gamebooster is good, but not too powerful to play high res game. -a little overpriced. -body material catch fingerprints so much, unless you use softcase, this phone will look dirty all the time.

  • Oppo fooling now in the name quad cameras. Useless

  • look like amazing with quad camera, but can't win than Samsung camera :D hahaa

  • screen resolution is poor only 720p in 6.5inch screen

  • Depending on what are you focusing more on If you focus on media consumption like me, then this is a great device as it has big screen, dual dolby atmos speaker and big battery. The screen isn't very sharp but it is still acceptable. Also, the chipset is among the best for the midrange phone. If you focus on photography, then I suggest you to go for redmi note 8 or realme. This phone camera sucks. And I have installed GCam from apk. The quality only improves a bit.

  • This looks to be mainly made for media consumption. The VERY narrow/tall aspect ratio resembles the cinematic ratios, stereo speakers, huge battery. Seems to be aimed at Netflix users and others of that type.

  • its not a good deal at all, for this price you can get a realme 5 pro, realme x2 or a redmi note 8 pro

  • good

  • i buy this phone ,this good or bad,

  • its mean can use VOOC fast charging provided by Oppo?

  • do you use its VOOC fast charging? maybe you open apps one side charging

  • Good phone & all things good

  • Screen and front camera are really bad...

  • My phone is fine when charging.. It does heat up a bit.. just a bit

  • I think the same. But I'm worried about installing apps from apk instead of playstore. Is it safe to do so?

  • IDK,It's just my phone or what, but it heats up while charging. PS : I'm using Oppo charger provided by the company. Plz,tell me if anyone is facing the same problem

  • My problem with this phone is when I plugged in 3.5mm jack, the screen becomes little unresponsive (Like when you tap one it thoughts it's twice, or rejects your taps) I tested another oppo A5 2020, results the same thing So it's software bugs, hope they will fix it

  • You can download google camera for realme 5 on this phone because it uses same module as realme 5 The image quality improve like twice!

  • The front cam is horrible. All photos taken are blurry and washed-out. The rear cam is just so-so. No night mode. Terrible slow-mo video recording. Only 30fps. For those who focus more on photography, please go for redmi note 8. I'm telling the truth. Used it for days and kinda regret right now.

  • how was the camera

  • i think if you want buy it for play game, no hard game...can choose this, just for gaming. Camera bad is ok ... haha

  • yes thank for your information, i get it.

  • Looks like u didn't know anything at all.. Oppo never used Qualcomm QuickCharge technology on their phones.. Coz they have their own fast charging technologies, that's VOOC Flash Charge.. Even they didn't use it to some of their phone, they just use regular Fast Charging 5V/2A.. VOOC is 5V/4A..

  • I bought this phone and can't find the night mode in the camera. How to activate the night mode? The phone is advertised to have the night mode 2.0 but where is it?

  • bought it and used it for days now camera: front cam is very bad (the color seems so dull); the rear one is okay for the price segment (so-so ultrawide cam and absence of 60fps video recording) screen: 720p resolution isn't as bad as I expected, but it's not very sharp; however it's still acceptable for me when watching utube video performance: the ui isn't very smooth, noticed some lag and no response sometimes overall: okay phone for the price but there is better option like redmi note 8

  • Bad screen and bad front camera...you get what you pay for. Big memory but that's all.

  • Bad screen and front camera terrible...you get what you pay for

  • It's a best budget midrange device.

  • realme 5 ka camera result kasa he plz tell me i am thinking to buy

  • The problem is that, the display is 20:9 aspect ratio + a huge chin, and it looks like a remote, not a TV, get your brain right.

  • If use Samsung fast changer instead.. Better. Haha. Pls try.

  • How about camera quality, day and night ?

  • Same as Realme 5...but selfie only 8mp instead of 13 mp...and a bit more expensive...so probably Realme 5 is a better choice if available.

  • yes it can charging full above 3 hours.

  • Realme 5 much better cos the price was much cheaper with same spec, even Realme 5 has Macro Lens than this one useless mono lens..

  • Better Realme 5 than this one.. Even still doesn't PD too.. But the price is much more cheaper than this phone..

  • It was Fast Charging but locked at 5V/2A only.

  • QuickCharge feature was locked.. So only Fast Charging 5V/2A.. Even you use QC3.0 adapter it won't charge faster..

  • How is the quality of stereo speakers comparing s10 or iPhone x

  • In indonesian release with port usb tipe c..but no fast charging

  • This phone does not support USB PD.

  • no have fast charging, charge about three hours. i think can buy fast charging adopter maybe have fast charging.

  • It is released in Indonesia with USB type-C and fast charging.

  • Ohhh !!! Not Fast Charding for 5000 mah battery !!!

  • 3+

  • I agree!!

  • does it has corning gorilla glass?

  • Oppo a5 = 720p Oppo f9 = 1080p

  • Amazing specification and not expensive, 5000 mAh is compatible with Android Pie, USB type C, 4 cameras, I already buy this one, recommended !

  • type C cable and have Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protecter on front

  • The USB is type-C,not micro

  • Why they don't make the display size 32". they shuold remember 5"-6" is the best size for display. Otherwise it'll become a TV

  • Overpriced. You can go for Samsung M30s

  • Lovely phone

  • Same price as Samsung A20S, but better in every aspect...

  • I'd rather go to Realme 5 even if it's still use micro USB.

  • that because of the huge battery

  • i love oppo....best model in this range...

  • Good at this price, but a little too thick at 9.1mm

  • woooow hot design by oppo this time i love it

  • please no micro-usb in 2020 its too old !!! i dont know no protection screen ?? or miss of sepc
