  • If U want to make a hard reset and dont have terminal password, just go to android device manager (by internet browser) and choose option of wipe your phone data (this is the option when your phone is stolen/lost). This will reset your phone to the factory settings (all data will be erased - also terminal password). p.s. to make this operation in phone options (SECURITY) you must turn on ANDROID DEVICE MANAGER option.

  • sir thanking u for ur success in developing such a nice phone .

  • I've been in love with Panasonic for 25 years, I'm burning in desire to have a smart phone under this brand. Is there any idea why Panasonic has not managed to sell phones in Iran/Asia ?

  • One of my beautiful phone that I used until now. After one year and a half I changed it although I can't find another same beautiful phone. I will miss it.

  • the specification with this price is very less i never buy this is better go lenovo s720

  • Guys first of all! i am using this phone from past 5 months... reviewing this phone on paper abd getting the experience in real are two diffrent things i must say about this phone. I got this phone for just 180 euros. so thought i should buy it and wasnt so happy about the on paper specs. like no LED flash and stuff. But trust me the moment i took this phone in my hands its looks so upmarket and rare phone. almost everyone asks me which phone is this. Best looking phone .For those who really like being seen different from the apples and Samsungs .. go or this one. Camera is awesome. and i mean it. No problem so far. the way this phone looks.. black screen on whole front.and the water proof capabilities. and the Ice cream sandwich customized iterface. Just love my Phone. I am glad not many people buy it cause it make me feel authentic ;) Cons- Battery backup just like iphone(cause i used one) sound is very genuine not too loud(not a prob for me though) Overall a true smart phone. Thank you panasonic :)

  • I Think this is copy from croma mob

  • i think this copy from croma\

  • does it support 4g or not

  • not impressive, nothing new and exiting about it.price factor also against.

  • awsome nd it is copy for sony

  • Update on seting to 2.3.6 .the download the update app on google play for 4.0.X

  • The three leds works right only if the screen is set on auto lighting and need low ambient light.

  • turn on automaticly light then turn off but in settings

  • First time I had problems with the sounds like a waterfall was after I dropped the phone on the floor. Now sounds are very rare. I think is not a problem by signal. Try a service.

  • Great phone! As usual - Panasonic make fantastic quality products.

  • i have problem with wifi ( not in range )

  • i was considering to get this. but my only niggle. is there no flash on the camera. so low light shots would be poor. considering panasonic make awesome cameras i cant believe they missed it out. great looking phone. but the specs are a little weak. shame i had high hopes for this. i really love the build quality of panasonic products.

  • I have signal problems all the time. I maces some sounds like waterfalls and It sat down. Any suggestions?

  • contact the technical support

  • Even if it has 1150mah that doesnt mean that its too poor or weak, common guys i bought this mobile for 210euros and look at its specifications(8mp,720pvideo,water resistence,1GHZdualcore/1gbram).I think as ''one of the first'' touch models its preatty good and useful.

  • Hi there how do u upgrade . To 4.0.4

  • i have a proble, i need some passwor for factory reset please help watch problem on youtube /watch?v=0V9jXG_Nobw

  • i need this phone in nigeria where can i get it pls.

  • there is no front facing camera. so..... skype or other video telephony is out!

  • Do the upgrade!

  • Seems quite a unique device, full of good and bad solutions. You can find it really cheap by today, so i got one for myself. Would you stick to Android 2.3.5 or upgrade to 4.0.4?

  • Its upgradable to 4.0.4

  • This is a powerful device and can be bought for a reasonable price given Panasonic's unfortunatedecisionto exit the market in Europe for now.

  • Does this have NFC in every models, because Galaxy S2 only come to in one model with NFC and I am looking for buy this phone, but must have NFC

  • This i s the best phone i have ever used.Better than S2. Very nice interface and super camera. The feel of the phone in hand is very very good.Full marks to the design of this phone. You can be easliy differentiated in crawd of apple and samsung. I advice everybody to tr this once.

  • yes i have this problem too how caan i fix it

  • Best phone I ever owned, have used Galaxy S2, Xperia U, Galaxy Gio, Galaxy S1, but this rocks. After ICS update its just like a Galaxy Nexus. Theme is almost removed. Tested waterproof too! Great value for your money!

  • btw. isn't the uncovered jack socket a threat?.. :) okey, it's ip57, and haven't read anywhere that this one could be blamed for anything.. but i guess after all i'll use a dust plug.

  • "The three small leds on bottom of phone never light on after update, shame because I like its." when you change the lcd's brightness, the leds come to life, but after you push the on/off button once, or wait till it goes standby, they "die" again, and just the same thing helps.. surely a bug.

  • Guys Guys....buy the phone if u really like it, bragging is waste of time.

  • After updated to ICS, web surfing is absolutely faster! I concern the RAM capacity since it indicates around 190 available...

  • nice now it can update android 4.0 it less useing battery....

  • At first look, after 2 days of use, the battery life with ICS is less than 2.3. I am not a power user. for example at job I don't use my phone for 8 hours its only is stand by and without wifi, gps and 3g. with 2.3 the battery lost 2-3% and now with ICS loose 5%. The three small leds on bottom of phone never light on after update, shame because I like its.

  • though still don't have any long term exp. regarding the battery life with ics, i enjoy this phone, which comes ridiculously cheap nowadays despite it's almost new on the market.. you need to tolerate a few compromises of course, but for its price tag, i forgive these.

  • Panasonic through a press lets you know that today the update to ICS will be available for your smartphone Eluga! The upgrade will have a weight of about 150 MB and will be available through the application ELUGA ICS Update which will be released shortly on Google Play Store.

  • well was going to be my next phone. but i didnt get it. because of no flash. shame on you. but still looks awesome with great specs. and nice clean lines.

  • why is there no review? is this phone too crappy to get a review? That would also be nice to know! Thanks

  • eluga has ECO MODE option in it. by turning on eco mode battery lasts for almost 36 hours........

  • not now dear

  • Which countries can we find panasonic mobile phones is it also available in zimbabwe???

  • When i had this phone it was love at first sight but now it is toleration more than anything else. For starters like most users will know, the battery very poor - you will charge this every night just to get going, the storage is poor, voice levels are poor (have to keep it on silent when out and about or else i would miss calls)and the promised ICS summer update has failed to materialise. Sometimes my phone just restarts without warning which can be annoying. The Eluga Power was supposed to be out this summer but wisely, Panasonic has held back after reading poor reviews. I just hope they make serious improvements to the Eluga Power like: more storage, improved battery life, clearer sound (even better HD sound) and customised ICS not stock. I now this is Panasonic first foray into the Smartphone industry and i will hope that if they decide to update the Eluga in the near future, they taken into consideration the failings of the current phone. At the moment, i will get rid of my Eluga and go for something else.

  • Is this phone available in China?

  • - cons no sd card slot (only 8gb build in) Poor camera without flash no radio weak battery poor speaker continuous failures lack of liquidity + pros looks good and is resistant to water good display alternativ: Xperia Go or Acro S are much better...

  • battery life / one day half standby

  • I have used for three days. It has two major flaws, in fact a major and a critical one. 1. the sound is very weak. In noisy environments is very difficult to understand what the other party is saying. Also, the ringer is very difficult to hear. 2. battery life is a joke. Less than 1 day. With minimal use (wifi off, data connection off, less than 15 minutes of calls) it empties the battery in about 16-18 hours. Today it lasted since 9 am to 10 pm. True, with about 60 minutes of calls.

  • 1150mAh battery?! u must be kidding!

  • well,i wanted to love this phone but it just crapped out on me today, media and phone calls will not play through speaker.loudspeaker during calls will though, huh?i am sending it back to seller to repair because there is not a panasonic repair place here in the states to honor warranty.NOT ONE.man.absolutely the most beautiful phone i have ever owned, but flawed.

  • Awsome. Just awsome. Panasonic rules. no match for class of Display. They need to jusy add a card slot and 32/64 gb inner memory alongwith a flash and it will ruin the all. Panasonic, change your name with Dashing Panasonic. Double the battery too.

  • read the post above yours

  • i had the same problem so i called tmobile tech support and it took two different tries.they will have to walk you through manually setting it up.mine works now.

  • I can not send / receive MMSon this phone. Has anyone this problem? How do I solve?

  • hi,do you know when the ics upgrade is coming out and how to get it?thanks.

  • have this phone,it is exactly what you think, a display in your hands, feels and looks like you are just holding the glass.it is not laggy, qhd display looks awesome from all angles.i am coming from the super amoled screens of the s2 and nexus of samsung which i really liked alot.also fun to run water over this phone in front of friends.only gripe and setback for me is the 2 bands for 3g.i am only getting edge on tmobile.nothing i can do about that.i actually never use much data to begin with.wifi mostly.sooo..its a stunner to look at too.using volume + app for low vol. this phone is just fine.

  • No flash!?

  • I have been using for so long. here are the results for the doubts: Battery Life: Although 1150 MAh, it is satisfying. ECO mode make the device usable for 36 hours. Water&Dust Proof: Definitely working. To me, the flashless camera and memory is enough.

  • Hay, launch even a monochrome cellphone but with 2500 mAh battery, insert torch light, 10/50 mb storage for sms, made in Japan/Malaysia and launch it with the price tag of 10 to 15 USD under the name of Panasonic and see how million sets are sold in Sub-continent in next six months. Thats the public demand as majority of common man need not the some rich ones of smart phones. Try it and find the fruit.

  • what is 8 gigs of storage without a memory card slot, all these manufacturers need to stop doing this crap

  • Battery is terrible and processor not worth the money should be around 150

  • It's a good design phone, but 1. thrift on batter power; make it 8mm and give us 1500 mAh, 2. no extra memory card slot; 8 GB on board is definitely NOT enough.

  • you people should know the meaning of MARKETING STRATEGY.

  • the back casing made by my company...

  • Considering it's a Panasonic, I belive the ace this phone has up its sleeve is not in specs, it's a long-term reliability, like all Panasonic products.

  • even though you can't take the battery out, it is dust and water resistant. Very Good but More MEMORY Panasonic, more memory and a pentaband 3/5 g and you have a winner!!!

  • lame! it doesn't have impressive features so I consider to buy a non-famous brand of cellphone manufacturer

  • Why no Panasonic section on this site? They can at least have an 'other' section

  • 4.3inches screen and only 103 g ! Great !! But not memory card with only 4Gb user memory, no front camera, no flash ,very small battery... a big NO !

  • no camera flash?????!!!

  • So if it is water proof, why it didn't get IP67 instead of IP57?

  • Agreed and no doubt about Panasonic real high quality as well as durability that lasts for ages but the question is why they are not matching the user's requirements as the people are pointing out here many things like Card slot, scratch protection, massive batteries, better and enhanced features that make it extraordinary rather than as casual as many exist already in market???

  • This is excellent phone. PANASONIC it self tells us the quality of the phone. sound quality is excellent.

  • A cool water proof phone

  • A cool water proof phone

  • I got it for 3 days. Nothing is amazing...very ordinary android phone with water proofing. Call quality, camera, speaker and music..all just avarage in comparison with SXS, HTC ONE X and S Note. Screen is par with Moto Razr. Storage of 8gb (available 4gb to user) is not enough. Overall 6.5 out of 10.

  • battery 1150 on a 4.3' screen and dualcore processor? 8gb internal storage which means probably 4gb user available and no sd slot? is this a joke of the year? unless if it's priced below 50$, than it would b ok.

  • I would absolutley love it but there are two issues that are very disturbing. NO FLASHLIGHT and FRONT CAMERA. Whats up with that... u just dont go on the market with these kind of lacks these days, besides every phone is missing one or 2 things may that be ram, mp of camera or tft instead oled..annoying for a buyer that wants to have it all. Thats the marketing for you...PeterBa

  • Talk Time: 4 Hrs !! .. Battery: 1150 mAh !! Even I like Panasonic; But This Device Will Die Early!!

  • So,available in Malaysia? hahaha

  • cool! made in Malaysia! :D

  • Needs unlocked bootloader. An android phone is nothing without developer support.

  • Best thing is that it is a 'Panasonic'. Love it simply. Yeah, battery capacity should be enhanced but if they are conscious about weight and thin-ness, they may offer two batteries or an additional heavy battery for longer use. Flash and added internal memory may be endorsed in newer models and Gorilla Glass or other protection alike also. We respect the Brand for the highest quality and fantastic durability always.

  • I've always liked Panasonic phones. Like the old VS6 - some slick design features made it wonderful to use, such as the button on the side that flicked the display lid up in a spring and menu buttons that only displayed the options actually available, rather than everything in a menu - something even today's phone miss as a trick. And let's not forget the fantastic Enable/Disable option positioning of the highlight bar, that would by default be highlighting the opposite option of the currently chosen one; if Audio is Disabled, why would the option be the first selected when you enter that menu option again? Surely, the Enable should be highlighted...? It was little touches like that, even iOS and Andy phones have missed as a trick today. Hope the new model is affordable - would be nice to go back to the 'fold' again.

  • tat's "Eluga Power". nt Eluga GSM hv info abt it too jus follow the link below.

  • but Eluga power 5" is diffrent phone

  • The specs you gave are for the Panasonic Eluga Power, not the Eluga.

  • That's the Eluga POWER. A different beast all together.

  • Shame it is limited to only 2 bands how shortsighted and stupid Panasonic. these day and age all flagship phones should at least be quadband 3g at the very least if not LTE capable as well!

  • Aaaah. I always dream of big waterproof smartphones :DD

  • You posted a link to Eluga Power, not just Eluga!

  • that's a different phone- eluga power...

  • linked article is about Eluga Power ( )

  • According to Panasonic UK, the battery is actually 1800mAh with Micro SD Card Slot supporting a further 32GB. People should get the facts first before jumping to conclusions:

  • Like I said, wait for the review and see. Maybe it will do better than that. After all, under the specs sheet it says:''Disclaimer. We can not guarantee that the information on this page is 100% correct.''

  • Talk time Up to 4 h what a pity....

  • Whr is led flash???

  • No hardware camera key ... useless !!!

  • Don't be fooled by ''only'' 1150 mAh battery. Knowing Panasonic, I'm sure they have a very good reason for it. Probably, they have done some major things with consumption efficiency. I've bought quite a few Panasonic products, and all of them were extremely reliable, not a single issue. Just wait for the review and see.

  • And the Best thing is that it is a 'Panasonic'. Love it simply. Yeah, battery should be enhanced but if they are conscious about weight, they may offer two batteries or an additional heavy battery for longer use.

  • In an instant I have now gone off this phone. The waterproof capability made it the one for me but now I realise it doesn't allow expandable memory via microusb I'm not interested. 8GB internal isn't enough for maps and music in my opinion.

  • Worst thing about this device is the 1150 mah battery. Why not a little thicker and 1700mah? And the back looks realy poor.

  • Unfortunately no flash. Look here for specs and user manual:

  • dual sim sets?????????????????

  • Really Nice to see Panasonic again. It is needed to insert Heavy batteries, Scratch-less Screens, Unbreakable Structure, Torch Light, Card Slot or Enhanced Inner Memory like 64 GB or even more in these smart models; and to introduce large variety of simple sets in all forms either folding or slider or touch or qwerty to match the users requirements at all level. GD55, A101, x200, x300, SA, MX Series were very good. Remove their faulty things like no memory card or other software support and insert them. Hope for the quality and durability for which the brand is known always. Welcome.

  • Add the flash, Panasonic!!!

  • the specification showed a camera with LED flash but the picture show no flash. Which is the correct one??

  • May be it isn't too late for Panasonic to fix serious drawbacks, discovered by potential users: lack of flash, radio, powerful battery etc. It's better to delay release rather than release such a "disabled" device to the market with extremely tough competition.

  • panasonic should invest more in the smartphones domain and build a more hitech phone

  • I rarely use the cell phone camera, only occasionally. Imagine you are at a party with low lighting, or you are in a restaurant with candle lights, your phone's camera become useless unless there's a flash. I can also download the flash light app. and use as a torch (very useful feature).

  • i think this is an awesome mobile. and well worth it. but i just cant believe, that panasonic. omited the flash on the camera. its a stupid mistake. that will cost them dearly. people who not bothered about photography or. just want a good looking phone might buy it. but anyone who is anyone who wants a decent smartphone. wont be excited. as i am not very disapoiting. i was all set to get ger this. but not now.

  • I red on Panasonic site or elsewhere last year that they are shifting mobile from 3.7 volts to 1.5 volts. Shall it enhance the battery life upto 250% ??? Interesting.

  • Yes. Why dont they go for 64GB or even more. Innovation required. Larger capacity, biggest batteries, Shock proof, scratch-less, tough and durable things needed sir.

  • I want it, but need more than 8GB. Battery also seems very weak, 1150mah. Too bad, will look elsewhere.

  • Please, Panasonic, make some 4 inch hard-qwerty device with lcd-display!

  • Panasonic should introduce its previous variety like GD55, X300, VS, MX, SA SERIES again with Enhanced Features like Wlan, Card Slot, Longer Batteries in the latest scenario because they all are not only very well designed and high quality sets but they are upto latest standards as well. It will take lesser time to garb the market with maximum variety. Esp GD55 type thing will rock again. Delicious Idea....

  • Only 1150 mAh. ? Absolutely enough capacity for 4.3''touch screen and 1.MHz processor..1700-2200mAh. It was must.

  • I want this in white. Panasonic also need to add a flash to the camera!

  • correction it isn't 4GB of internal memory, instead it is 8GB.

  • Inserting Additional battery (optional)may be nice idea but its power must be more than 2500 mAh; better to go for 3000 mAh plus.

  • Is this going to be sold only in europe? If it is, what a shame.. I really like this one, at least the best outdoor smartphone for now (rather than defy or active. Not speaking about the rom developers, of course)

  • no sd card slot and only 4gb user available memory accroding to panasonic official website, rubbish

  • 1150 mAh?? Will hardly be enough for half a day! That's why it's so thin!

  • Ok. then publish the correct thing on all sites. There is 1150 mentioned not onlt at gsmarena but at your own site too. Also note that the weight also shows that that battery is small else it must be around 130 to 150 grams. Regards

  • also shock proof please

  • it' written at the back cover "made in Malaysia"

  • no flash for the camera ? and this is supposed to be a flagship handset ?

  • Memory Card slot No Internal 8 GB storage, 1 GB RAM

  • do u know y there is no front camera, hardly any memory and no card slot??

  • Wtf . no led flash and ffcamera? cmon its 2012!

  • Super cool........my dream phone! I must get dis phone, wait til the price drop maybe the year end of 2012

  • Super cool.......... My dream phone! I must get dis phone. Wait til the price drop maybe the year end

  • Battery life is going to be very short, when my wave with minimum of i/net use and 1500MhA battery last 2-3 days or one with more intense use.

  • Hi, i wanna correct one thing, i am sketch designer in panasoic it's by mistake write 1150ma battery actually its come in 2150ma. Its not baby toy. We also inform gsmerena team very soon it will be correct. Thanks best regards hope enjoy this phone

  • Well, I agree but battery must be last for weeks like 2000 to 5000 MAhs. No doubt about Class and Quality of Panasonic. WELCOME.

  • Wowwwww. Very warm WELCOME BACK Pana... Hope to see some FANTASTIC from your-side...

  • What would be the price of it?

  • Some says it looks great. Agree, it looks great, but there is nothing else in it... Well, may be water and dust proof. But... no card slot, no led flash, no radio, no front camera, poor battery (most serious drawback, considering Android OS and big screen size). Probably for the price between 220-250 euro(after all the taxes) some people would be considering to sacrifice poor specs for the sake of good design. Otherwise, sorry Panasonic but nowadays nobody is going to spend hard earned $$$ just for your famous name...

  • jus 1150mah battery with 1ghz processor..u got to be kidding me!!

  • More info -

  • no sd card slot. no led flash. no radio..... does it have wireless charging? it gonna need it with that battery.....! micro sim???

  • The tapered back side remind me of the SE K600 from years ago.

  • Primary 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash ... where is the LED flash??

  • a dual core with a 1150 battery

  • It really looks good. Panasonic was good back in the days when they produced cell phones... A nice wellcome addition to the list of options when chossing a manufacturer.

  • better than s2 in fashion and specs

  • No Memory Card Slot.....can't think of getting it because I will run out of user data space

  • Awesome Phone...! Kool....!!

  • You say it has LED Flash... where exactly is that on the phone? I think you made a mistake

  • NO front camera. Hellooooooo, it's 2012.

  • Nice phone but the battery is epic fail. What are you thinking, Panasonic?

  • well come panasonic.

  • Where's the LED flash??

  • If it worked like that, wouldn't I have -2.7GB to use on my Xperia Ray? But I do agree. 8GB with no card slot is a no no for most people. Lets just hope they bring it out with bigger storage spaces.

  • Its say a flash is there for camera but in picture I dont see any flash

  • Battery is not a let down as its screen is oled which uses less power

  • Beautiful looking phone. Great design. Water and dust proof. But the battery is a huge let down.

  • It looks gorgeous :O! Really great design.

  • 8gb with no card slot = fail.3gb out of 8 will be used by the android and we ll end up with 5gb

  • I hope there is a typo on the battery spec

  • Why so poor battery ???

  • Nice effort, but must be consider:- 1. Only 8 GB memory 2. Poor Battery life.

  • battery wont be an issue "the phone is blessed with Elders Wand & Phoenix Feather is embedded below its Touchscreen" the phone is gonna work for more them 4-months in a single charge.. ;D

  • Astonishing Spec sheet except terrible battery.

  • 8 gb internal memory and no card slot? such an epic fail.

  • very light and waterproof everthing else is below par the battery capacity is inferior

  • Standard battery, Li-Ion 1150 mAh WHAT? 1150 mAh?

  • this is will be a flop entry for panasonic if battery will be 1150mah.

  • Oh my God! Panasonic has some mental problems? Or they have fun with us?? 1150 mAh, and 1 GHZ Dual Core CPU?? This phone has a massive 4.3 inch screen, which is too big for that small battery. :-j It has 8 GB of internal storage, and it lacks a memory card slot. Who will buy this WEAK phone?? I am a Japanese phones fan, but this is a shame. :(

  • I think this will be a great phone if: 1) Panasonic can assure the secondary camera will be => 1.3 mega pixel 2) they can add radio 3) they can use battery more than 1700mAh otherwise, at least I wont be interested. waiting for their positive response.

  • wow.... looks cool. dual core but battery only 1150mah?

  • this phoneiscool

  • high end android only 8GB of internal storage without external?WOW
