Panasonic GD90 - User Reviews

  • A true classic.

  • I want battery gd 90 blue

  • Where did you lost your phone and when????

  • It was a golden era no gprs no sd card no tention now people are going crazy with new phones I like you gd90

  • i'd like to have it again this phone, is there's you know stores. that i could order this phone. i love this phone.. =p x

  • It was my first mobile which I bought in 2001. It didn't have even calculator. But it was very cool phone!!! I' ve lost it while I was riding my bike and I have never found it. I wish I could find it, byt I have the box with the instructions!!!

  • It was my second mobile phone, loved it sooo much. Changed the cover to a transparent one and it looked awsome, was like one of a kind phone in the crowd. Really a top phone for that time, around year 2000 I believe. And the different tone already for individual persons was a must at that time.

  • You guys have said it all...just like many others...this was my first phone too. The best phone ever!!

  • A nice phone, my 2nd business/mobile phone. I ever bought from a friend, 2nd/used one. I love it, too. Light weight, big vibration.. LoL

  • wow I love this phone!! This was the first to buy me and I always remember him, I even think that was hooked to mobile... ended up writing the messages without looking at the keyboard and breakneck speed!

  • this is my first mobile phone, and this was so durable and good shape , also the quality is so good thanks Panasonic for this phone

  • holy-ba-jeebusss. i love this phone so much. its screen is toxic green, just like krypotonite (yay superman) i love show shiney the handsets caseing is, it means that when i touch it i leave my print on there... this means i will know if anyones using my phone by seeing their prints.. naughty naughty... i love how round the buttons are they fit perfectly under my little nibble finger tips and are really easy to press, they also make a dead nice satisfying click... over all this is my dream phone, its performance is really quick and smooth, it rings, it texts, it plays games (fake snake- top banana!!) i can change the colour of its cute little light at the top, so i can flash in pink or blue or green or red or white or orange or yellow or purple or brown or grey or tan!!! also, phone with an areil?? extra signal for me. i love it.

  • adrian

  • love this phone!!!

  • this is the best fone in the world i love it

  • I have one unit, but the battery is dead. Really nice phone. I will get a new battery as soon as possible.

  • truely awesome phone and i loved it!!! If only Panasonic made a new one with the gadgets.

  • can i find a new one nowadays

  • The gd90 was my favourite phone, it was one of a kind back in the day with its four different lcd colours to choose from, i was the muts nuts! It was perfect size and weight and wouldn't look out of place today! I remember having an arguement with an ex and got so angry i lobbed my phone at the wall, picked it up, put the battery back in and hey presto, it still worked! Then it was stolen from me, i miss you gd90!!!!

  • Panasonic made great phones. I got this phone from my Dad. Lovely phone.

  • This was one of my first phones, and absolutely loved the reliability of the Panasonic handsets back then. Plus no one else had these handsets in SA, everyone had Nokia's!

  • This was my first mobile when I was at university and I absolutely loved it. Simple and reliable. Got signal where none others would. I upgraded three times over 5 years and still went back to this handset for its tactile feel and simple, speedy interface.

  • I loved that phone... you know what.. iam gonna buy my self that phone again... if..i can get one... Great f..cking phone

  • please help me..more problem with my mobile phome(gd 90) give me catalog ...gd 90" tanks

  • this is my 1st phone, that was year 1999 way back college.. A gift from my parents.. I had it for 2 years and i love it...

  • GD 90 was my first phone, which I bought in 2000, it was the most light weight phone, and was a very reliable But i cant identify its puk2 code. also its very tough to get a new battery.

  • GD 90 was my first phone, which I bought with my first salary way back in 2000, it was the most light weight phone, and was a very reliable one.... several times this had fallen down it worked perfectly after keeping every thing together, it has fallen from 2 storied building scattering all parts of the phone, on fixing it... it worked perfectly.... once after an bike accident I lost my phone in some bush.... and couldn't find it... but when I rang my number from other phone, it was working without any problem, even though it was badly scratched and front panel broke... but after 2005 the battery died off... I still have that phone with me.... I love my old PANASONIC GD 90 Phone.. That was the best phone I have ever had... Love u GD 90...

  • greatb product

  • the gd90 was my father's, he got in 1999 and gave it to me last year...its still working perfectly the only thing that was changed is the battery and this is only the 2nd battery since '99, my only problem is its locked. otherwise its a great phone outlasting other phones i've had..

  • my first phone very nice for that time unfortunately it was stolen i miss it

  • My beloved first phone- a dream phone. I miss those days, the days we used phones for just talking and messaging. a phone less than 100grams in 2000.

  • its march 2007 now and i still have this sexy phone alive with me and i use it very often i do also have the nokia n70 but this gd90 still rocks its in the dark blue colour and i just love this phone. my first ever phone..........

  • hello, does ayone know how to activate the SMS option on the phone ? Thanks

  • had this phone back in 1999-2000 i liked its looks but the batt is rubbish and earpiece seemed very distant during conversation, apart from those two problems its was fine working fone software was ok also had panasonic gd92 very simalar but with t9

  • does the GD90 have an headset

  • I had this phone for 2 years.. It was shitty.. the battery died on me all the time.. and aka talk time.. 1/2 hr if ur lucky.. I had to get another duplicate phone because mine was not working and when they sent me a replacement..it just died after a few seconds of every call and the charger.. oh my it didnt work either.. and plus the phone was discontinued so getting the parts was like a chore.. Impossible... NOT WORTH THE BUY.. NO WAY.. NOT WORTH THEN 100$ AND NOW 50$. MY ADVICE SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND BUY YOURSELF A BETTER PHONE.. THAT WILL LAST..

  • Panasonic G90 is a very nice phone, flexible and handy, the problem i am having with mine is that batery is bad and its been too difficult for me to get a spare battery,i almost charge the battery for 24 hours for it carry me overnight,i am in Port-harcourt city of Nigeria, i will be glad if this problem will be attended to,thanks in anticipation to a solution to this.bye.

  • Very good product! But where is the instructions manual in PDF format? The page with the instructions is blank!

  • Dear sir I have GD90 set . can i download Ringtone in my handset?

  • Not bad.

  • i've had this phone for 4 years and i'm still attached to it. its so easy to use. i just love panasonic phones! they fully rock!!

  • The phone is very average. Its very light and compact, even by today's standards. The vibration alert is good and the ringing is adequately load. To be honest you can do the bare minimum and what else do you want? Battery lasts about 2 days if left alone which I think is acceptable as it is very quick to charge. (about 40 minutes.) Far too delicate though. This phone was built for no more than a trip down the pub.

  • Do you have panasonic gd90 and what's the going price if i'm taking ten pieces and are they new or used@

  • hi adna hoe r u?

  • This is probably the BEST mobile phone I ever had. I have it for more than three years and and didn't have any problem at all!! Not to mention the fact that no matter how many times it fell on the ground it is still working!!!

  • hi

  • I don't like this phone ... I own one, and it's baterry only lasts for one day, and i don't speak much The vibration is very 'light', the sound quality is poor, and the ringtones aren't very 'noisy' My advice is that everyone who get's to choose from Gd90, and Nokia 3310 (cause the price is almost the same), should take 3310

  • Respected Sir, Kindly provide me solution for hang problem in mobile phone Nokia3310.any try to provide some more solution for mobile phone. Thanking you in anticipation, Best regard, Anil. Anil K Singhi. India. MObile no:919830144990

  • thanxx for all

  • It is a really good phone, but the only thing that i am really disappointed with is that it can't have all the cool ringtones that Nokia provides. With panasonic you must do it yourself, but with Nokia you can actually send the ringtones through the phone, it's much easier, faster and better overall.

  • very god

  • No way to insert the ring tones text in to my gd90 hand set. Please let me know how to insert ring tones.

  • have to say, I am a big fan of panasonic. This is a stylish little phone if lacking in the options departments that Noika users revel in. I thin reception is better than Nokia but my main gripe is with the battery life. No way does it last as long as Panasonic claim, never mind, after looking at the reviews on the gd93, I reckon i am updating to that anyway. So long trusty gd90

  • it's a fantaastic phone

  • please, pleasde email me an operation manual for panasonic GD90 phone. I cant get it anywhere. thankyou very much.

  • The GD90 is a good looking, solid, very light phone. However, the battery is a little short on life span, and the memo recording facility only allows the person on the ever end's voice to be recorded (not to mention a tiny 30 secs of recording space). I found the menu interface better than the Nokia 3310, and also thought that the available ringers were marginally better as well (although both phones suffer from a terrible selection of available rings). There are some features on the phone that are can only be described as irratating novelties (2 colout backlit screen, one-direction memo recorder, call group chat, etc). Lastly it suffers from lack of customisation that is availale with the 3310, although the GD90 is an older phone.

  • With all the publicity it got I thought that this phone would be great...it is absolutely rubbish...needs charging daily, low volume ringer, fragile....RUBBISH

  • Despite the fact that this phone is very light and that there is a vibration alert I really think that this phone is not as good as I thought when I got it; I need to charge it everyday though I don t speak much! I can t dowload ringtones or even logos from the net. The basic melodies aren t very nice! Thank you.
