I had this phone. And i love the phone very much. the special feature of screen was very good. and phone on/Off timer setting is find in this phone. the smileys in sms were good. i loved it still.Though i lost it in Jan2006.Same color as of the model shown.Missed it.

But I remember other compatible wire,, whit his CD-software suite, be available in many cellular-shop. Anyway today my X300 is locked ("saving error")and the assistance store is close for holydays

Ugh... this phone sucks.The first time i saw it, it was so nice cuz of the flip of the LCD but it acctually sucks. It doesnt have a lock, no bluetooth nor infered, when you take a video theres no sound, its doesnt have a flash for the camera and last is that you cant put any songs in it,.... ugh i dont like this phone, why did i even bought it, if i was you dont buy it as in seriously dude!!!

Everyone remembers me having this phone. They see the sceen flip out and they are like WOW!!!! But sadly the phone's keylock sucked and it wasted all my credit by calling ppl more than once. So that killed it for me.

The phone is of poor quality it is really a disapointment.I bought mine in Swaziland(Africa) in 2003 and it didn't last even a month. To panasonic and its distributers stop flooding the African market with poor quality goods. I had to sell my pet elaphant to buy that stupid phone of yours and it broke down within a jiffy.Shame on you Panasonic,Whatever that means.

dont buy this phone -it has small buttons which makes it hard to dial -graphics are bad -camera is horrible to todays standards -the battery cover sometimes comes out in your pocket -the hinge that allows the screen to flip broke of my x300 and the camera cannot b used -keylock is very ineficient and it dials calls from your contac list by itself -cannot use numbers from received/answered lists -bad sound quality -the rubber plug for the charger is very fragile IN ALL IT'S A VERY VERY VERY BAD PHONE

i know what to do when it got stuck in the logo...it happened to me many times before.. you dont have to go to a technician, you can do it by yourself.. just follow this simple steps: 1. turn on your cellphone.. as you can see it is still stuck in the logo 2. open your camera and take a pic 3. go to the option and go to view pictures 4. delete all your pics because that is what causing the phone to get stuck, the memory is low..

tottie you dont need to reflash the phone. the reason its stuck is because of the sim card. get a new sim card and it will b fine!

hi, maricor my panasonic did the same thing it got stuck on the panasonic logo and i have failed to make it start... (its been almost 5 months now) i took it for flashing (the memory) but nothing worked the technician said he tried 3 different versions of the panasonic X series flashing software but nothing worked. i have many complaints about this phone... first, it has small keypads..my thumb hurts everytime after i text.. second, it has a low memory, thats why the phone got stuck to the panasonic logo because the memory is full.... third, the games are hard to play...:) fourth, the video only records for about 5 seconds..! fifth, it lasted to me for only 2 months... i just wasted my money! Hi... Just for the person wanting to send e-mails from there phone. To get the '@' you just hold down '#' button for more than 4sec and it should come up. Dont worry if the "T9" thing comes up, if you keep on holding it will come up.

I bought the X300 and immediately I had problems. The phone unlocks incredibly easy. At times I am paying up to five minutes of call time due to it unlocking and dialling numbers in the contacts. Dealer only offered a case to stop problem but did't and Panasonic will not even acknowledge the problem. Will never buy a panasonic product again.

This phone is junk. Apart from the phone turning off whenever it feels like, the really bad reception, the features are also really bad. The games are too hard, the software is really inconsistant. For example the way you type a message is different to the way you type in the browser.

i live in america and i just happened 2 find this fone in a store and got it 4 a cheap $150 U.S., its a great fone but there could be some better features and a more detaitaled manual. there are several features on the fone that the manual doesnt even talk about. i dont kno if i have a different manual but if i dont a few tips, to maunually lock the keypad quickly press and hold the up arrow button until the screen goes dark, to unlock press uppermost left button twice.if your web browser isnt working you can setup your codes manually. to get the codes simply call your wireless service provider.

self-timer for the camera is the best!.pop-up screen also okay..no need to download ringtone coz..already got nice melody!I only found one hole for charger & earphone..w/out bluetooth i still could transfer my pic to e-mail..(not big prob!)..but the round shape at the bottom make the phone cannot stand vertical..it is very simple and easy to use without the user manual..Not afford to buy Nokia NK70/NK90 buy this laa...

I own a x300, I's a nice phone at first sight..But it has some problems, sometimes when i try to call someone or when I'm typing an sms, the phone just GOES OFF for no reason! even with a full battery! I've heard the same problem occurs with other people who own this phone.About SMS: I sms a lot, I must say that writing an sms on this phone sucks a bit, for quick and easy message typing I prefer a nokia.Currently I'm considering trade my X300 for a VK Mobile VK2000, It is very small and I like the design..(perhaps waiting for a silver version)

i bought the x300 just before christmas in england when it first came out, it cost me �120 from the carphone warehouse. the buttons are quite annoying but one good thing is that its still going strong after so long and a lot of accidents with it!i've had no trouble at all with it apart from trying to get new games! does anybody know where to get games from for this phone?!

i just got the x300, and inserted my sim card without any problems. 2 days later the roaming signal came up, and now won't go away no matter where i am. i returned the sim card to my original phone, and no roaming signal showed up. i checked the network settings, and it shows cingular as my home network on x300. i have even called cingular, and they said that my last calls were listed as roaming on this phone. what should i do? plz!!!!! help me!!!!

Well my friend the USB port is the same you use when you connected for recharging the battery...it seems odd this way but that's how panasonic did it (I think the X500 use this same recharging port like a USB port). Remember you can only upload files no bigger than 48K each one of them, so dont expect you can upload to your phone bigger files than this (let's say 50K to up each file) the software (handset manager) doesnt let you do this..why i still dont know??���� and if Someone knows a way on how add files bigger than 48K please send some post on how to do it!!The phone uses polyphonic ringtone of 40 different sounds generation 3-MMF from yamaha, this means ringtones made of over 40 sounds cant be played on this phone...(that are the 5-MMF and a new one 7-MMF sound chip from yamaha). And remember the little monitor of this phones has problems too if you talk more than 10 minutes the phone get hotter and you will see bad pixels on the screen (some of the less color than others in the picture you have like wallpaper) and I have even heard that you can actually burn the screen (bad pixels all over the screen)and i have only hear this on panasonic models, in not other cell companies(nokia, sony ericcsson, benq, motorola)I saw or experience this, this is the first phone of panasonic I had and it's a shame they do have screen problems...I wonder what the hell panasonic where thiking selling this phone if the screen can actually burn out the pixels and make you see delayed icon images on wallpapers and viceversa of just talking about 10 minutes......this is bad...:(

First there have been some problems with their screens (if you talk too much, more than 10 minutes, the screen will start to have less color and ,you will see this, and you can even burn the screen not in flames but the screen will loose all the colors and you will see bad images and bad icons)and i can say this is in most every panasonic model(the phone company told me this so that's why dont grab a panasonic), I do have the serial cable (USB) and it was a pain in the ass finding it (almost an entire week of searching in with phone dealers)nobody would find it or bring it, the cam that it have doesnt have much resolution (it says 640X480) but you will see a lot of pixels in the photos after you see it in your computer in their real size, you can upload files and contact to your phone with the usb cable but you cant upload files bigger than 48K!!! why?? i dont know, the software that it comes with it doesnt let you! (the software is handset manager),the ringtones are for babies only midi kind, there is no way you can play mp3's on this phone and no radio,you can play voice or sound files called AMR or MMF(from yamaha) but their quality is way way poor you dont even want to listen to them has a ringtone because first you cant upload more than 48K per file so imagine how the sound of let say a true ringtone will be hear with a quality of 8,000 hz with 12kbts per second...horrendous! So my advice is if you want a phone dont get this one, there are much better phones from nokia with true tones better cam resolutions and radio..this panasonic X300 phone looks cool but that's it the rest is just junk!

I am a die-hard fan of Panasonic, so I have always used Panasonic models. My latest is X300. Its a good phone with good features. However, I feel somehow, Panasonic phones are note keeping update with market trends. Competitor phones of the same price range now offer IR port and FM radio in their models which is missing in X300. Besides its really difficult getting ringtones and wallpapers for Panasonic phones (I fail to undestand why???). Otherwise aesthetics are fine. The flip camera is cool but Panasonic should add features to give more value for money.

There is one light mistake in phone description by GSM ARENA. The phone has 50 otgoing calls memory, not 10. Also, people be aware: The phone is all great except one thing: horrible small keypad! On the photos this phone's keypad looks much bigger than it is! (Gimmik stretched photos!) After I received this phone via Shipping delivery I was shocked about the size of Keypad. I though I would get used to it, but after 2 months of using this phone , it irritates me strongly , because of how slow and carefuly I must dial every #.

Got my X300 at xmas and was very happy with it. However, the USB cable needed to download my images to a PC cost another �20 retail. So me being me i got one off ebay for �6. Didnt bloody work though did it. So i got a another from a mobile phone shop and expected that to work. Did it heck. Yes the drivers installed for the special usb lead, yes the software "Handset Manager" installed, but the software failed to connect to the panasonic x300. Anyone know why or got the same problem??? HELP!

I am very happy with my X300. I bought the gold colored one. To answer the person about video sound, no this phone is just a basic one with no sound. But, it does take great video clips, and is a nice fone. Try to get one in Gold color if they have, much nicer than silver.

i bought a panasonic x300 and i totally regret it.The features are toatlly poor. i had problems with this phone from the very beginning. when i bought it, it came with a weird end to the charger that wouldn't work anywhere.i had to buy a special adaptor which took 3 whole weeks to get. on top of that it was sooo expensive. the phone has no sound with video, no mp3, no radio, it unlocks so easily and finishes my phone card. it's camera is not as impressive as it looked online. i dont like the ringtones and there is too little memory on the phone I TOTALLY REGRET BUYING THIS PHONE

i just got a panasonic x300 and let me advise everybody else DON'T BUT THIS PHONE!!! it's totally crappy. it has no bluetooth, no infared, no loudspeaker, no sound with videos. it's camera resolution is just as bad. it has far tooo little memory(3mb). my last phone had 15mb.as nice as the flip screen lokks, it's really of no help. the preloaded tones and sounds are not good and with so little memory, it's hard to get more. the video recording does not go for long and there is no radio nor mp3 player. it's a nice lokking phone but i dont like it's 128 by 128 screen .the sound quality while using the phone in my car is very poor.to unlock the phone you need to press the same button twice and the phone being in my bag at work is constantly unlocking itself and running up my bill. i totally regret buying this phone. i had a nokia 3650 before and i am so mad that i gave it up to buy this phone.

I got this phone, it came with a UK charger and no adapter for the US. Not a bad phone, but the options are limited, I do reconmend the Panasonic G-51/50 before this one.

It's a great looking phone. Buy it..and live to regret it! Screen is too small, buttons are too small, embedded ring tones suck, very short video with no sound, no blue tooth, not even infra-red, calls people in the phone book on its own, and it hangs. Paid almost S$600 for it when it was just launched. I was happier with my old GD75. But the X300 is a great looking phone!

I regret very much buying Panasonic X300 mobile phone. This phone has serious voice problem. When I talked in bus, I heard much noise when the bus was moving. The noise was louder when the bus vibrated on uneven road. The noise existed in the whole period of travel. I talked to the shop where I bought this phone. They said it was a well-known problem. Many models of Panasonic has such problem. I contacted Panasonic. They said there was firmware to solve the problem, but could not guarantee as the firmware was changing from time to time. They said I could try first, need to pay HK$200, and need to pay again when upgrading newer firmware. My phone was not bought through authorized dealer. I finally sold the phone to some repair shop at a very low price. I suffered big loss from Panasonic's poor design.

Hi, the Panasonic X300 is one of the stylish and best looking phones out, the pop-out screen is stunning, but it hardly has any functions. e.g. it does not have Bluetooth, mp3 player and not enough memory (only 3mb)

Hello Tess,I work for a mobile company in New Zealand.The phone you bought in the Phillipines SHOULD work in the united states. Their frequency bands (Dual bands) that you used in the Phillipines are used in explosives for the American Armed Forces, thus is why your country has three networks (Tri-band). Generally I'd buy a Tri-band network phone as oppose to a Dual band mobile. Quad band are generally for countries in Africa which I don't plan on going to in a hurry.

This phone is the coolest and unique! Forget flip phones so generic now adays. X300 it's LIGHT WEIGHT, SMALL, SIDE CAM for UNDERCOVER shots, Cool Menus..much much more! My friends saw it, and they're like whoaa, we haven't seen one of those b4! Damn, yea..I use it as flash light coz the light gleams so brightly. Flipping LCD, very useful taking video shots, always impress everyone with this cool looks. I recommend this phone!
