  • I have been using vega pantech for about two (2) years now. I made someone bought it frm one of your shops and I remember the person told me is a new phone that has come to the market and because of that is it sold on promotion basis. In fact if I don't say your phone are good then am a big liar.   • Had this phone since summer 2013. Not one single issue. Interesting shape/design and some nice audio output through stereo speakers are it's best features. A little laggy but overall a very nice phone for me/us. Used unlocked on T-Mobile. Glass recently spidered so moved to another device but a nice little phone for it's time.

  • Actually there is plenty of custom roms on the net like cm11, cm12, cm12.1 and sooner cm13 I'm using android 5.1.1 on my a860s running smoothly with zero bugs. You may find good roms at mzl server

  • No there will be no 5.0 upgrades for A860 all you get is 4.4.2. If you want cm11 Or cm12 then search on the net.

  • Turn off 3g/4g Data while using camera. Close all applications which are not necessary at the moment. Use Task Manager Widget to kill processes. Camera will work fine. Alternative way is to use camera in Air Plane mode.

  • A good news for those Vega No 6 users who have face problem of shut down due to cellular network as i have found solution of that problem. I was also facing same problem from 2 months and 3 times changed Rom. Solution is given below: 1. Press *#*#4636#*#* and a window name "Testing" appeared. 2. Select "Phone info" and select "WCDMA only" in Set preferred network type 3. Restart your mobile. I am using Ufone network and after applying above process, my set never shut down from one week.   • I am also from Karachi. I have read your problem and I have taken conclusion that some mobile sets have low frequency bands in different location specially in Pakistan. In Pakistan, constant signal not available everywhere that is why you are facing such problem. Korean, Japanese and Malaysian mobile creates such problems in Pakistan. As far as ufone signals is concerned, it is true that ufone signals are not available strongly at every where in Pakistan. You should again switch to ward tel. Otherwise you will have same problem. Your problem never can be solved. Nor cellular company neither any mobile repairer will have you in this case. I faced some kinds of problem that is why my personal experience.

Error 2= sim card error. or show cross on signal icon . to solve these problem . no app needed . do these steps . 1-start your mobile power ON. 2-now quickly turn ON airplane mode 3-now if you have sim card in your mobile or not,at the same time after about 10-15 seconds turn OFF airplane mode .OK Now Wait , only after one restart it will not restart again and again . It works 95- 100% . I have done it many times .

  • You guys need to check your carrier's frequencies, this phone doesnt support EDGE, check the phone specs and see the network support and compare it with your carrier's. Good luck

  • If your phone boots on logo and nothing happens after that,it's a bootloop and can be solved doing a hard reset if you have recently updated the firmware. Reflash the firmware again will sort it out. But if u have issues with charging then either the charger is no good, charging port maybe damaged or could be a motherboard fault.Even if your phone wont boot it should be charging ok when powered off. Good luck

  • turn off ur phone and press and hold volume up+volume down-while u holding those buttons press power button hold buttons till u get the recovery menu then relese the buttons,then chose recovery by pressing volume down key and to ok press powe button once and wait untill u get in to recovery mod it will take some time.then select -wipe data/factory reset by volume down then press power button then select yes and press power button after u done press-wipe cache partition.then select re boot.ur phone will be boot but it will take some time.and u will lost ur data on phone memory and downloded application.

  • Dear I have Sky A830L and I have just solved the 80 character limit problem on my set. All you have to do is to dial the code ##7593# and then the second option in that list (which will appear after dialing the code) is SMS prefer mode. Tap on that and then select "PS_Only". All done and you are good to go and can send longest SMS as you like. Only thing here is that its built in app will not work for this. You need to install "GO SMS Pro" to send long SMS. While writing this reply I am sending a 70/4 SMS (means 4 SMS to my self and it is working fine.

  • If you want to turn on 3g on Vega No 6, just dial ##7593# and it will automatically go to UMTS Settings. In UMTS Settings list, look for WCDMA/GSM Band Select, make sure that it is set to AUTOMATIC. In RRC Version select R8(HSDPA+). Then Restart the PHONE. It will gives you an LTE and 3g connection after your phone restart.. :)

For sms limit issues u can download sms app via playstore but if it didn't work you should requests ur phonebto be rooted. Hope this one helps..

The vtouch is very responding and very heplful it is very fun to use.. i hope that wonder if when will pantech update it to android 4.4 kitkat.   • Hi, it varies from around £350-£450 depending on where you get it. US is around $500-600 expensive but it is definitely worth it, mines phenomenal! remember it is fairly big though, like an ipad mini so can struggle to fit in pockets

So far, I'm very satisfied playing those games on my phone. No lags was experienced so far. The screen really looks great while playing them.   • Hey to answer.... Battrry is very good! Even compare to my padfone 2. 3d gaming is not as i expected since they have same specs+-. The horizon in the game has lines of distortion, so i am not satisfied in that aspec. Still no lag or any hhiccups :-)

Bought it fro my wife and all praises from her thus far. ^^. |Camera is a bit of a deal for me though,. compared to Samsung phones, n6's is obviously inferior... But that's all there is to it,. maybe rooting will solve this camera issue|? still the best phone we've ever got though

  • I bought one a couple of days ago in Manila. I got a second hand handset. The unit came from Korea and so I had It rooted so that I could use it locally without the limitations if just 80 sms characters and also to get rid of all the built in korean apps. So far, I'm loving it. Super love the quality of the screen as well as how fast the camera can capture photos. My android phone prior to this was S4. I had for a month and got bored with it. I sold it and bought this once I saw it on display. I'll update my experience with this handset soon.

What are you talking about? :-) I will root it if i keep it cause the patch on the JB is too much for my opinion and many features are not to my liking. But full english is present in device, at least in taiwan.

  • Hey:-) I switched from padfone 2 cause it died on me and don't want to wait hanging without a phone:-) Screen is great, in full sun outside would rate as 7. Battery lasts forever and i am a heavy user. UI is really lacking, i am sorry but if you can't adjust screen brightness in 3 sec, you can't choose the short cuts you wish to have on the status bar or quick settings. They put such a heavy patch on the 4.1.2 android and it shows. The size is really great, that was the main reason for me buying it cause i write a lot. So yes it replaced my physical keyboard and tablet and phone. The front camera is good enouvh for my opinion, when you go to the rear one it is a complete disappointment. I travel and i enjoy having a good camera on my phone... I am actually thinking of getting another phone:-) it is not clear or crisp, when you drive it's all blurry and compare to the padfone2 it's several level downgrade. When gaming comes to play, i played tye same games here and there:-) their is some distortion in the creation on the game.. Hard to explain but, something is not as smooth as i experienced with padfone2 even tho they are same specs. The device feels very quality in hand, headphones are top quality, really.! The aux output is very smart like the charging hole, it is well fitted and will not loosen up by itself. Charges very fast indeed. My only true disappointment is the rear camera:-) the game issue is no bigi, it runs smoothand the screen is truly a ddelight! If i stay with it will root it for sure and clear all this junk! Maybe then camera will improve as well? Reception and Internet connection are very good, even better then my padfone2 for some reason, i get 3g in very remote places in taiwan where most have a sluggish connection. Wifi reception is also very good. Just sharing:-)

  • Nothing much... I just have to say that, its been 3 weeks and this device has already replaced my laptop and my previous cell phone, combined...!

  • is better than note 2. Only cons is on motion touch that sometimes is difficult to scan the movements and camera no so many functions. other than that is almost perfect. Viewing video are perfect clear even with no HD video. Screens are fast and smooth as iphone (way better than galaxy note 2) if not better. Doesn't feel bulky when put in my pants. Can do many multi tasking up to 8 applications.

It requires micro sim, so my regular sim was cut but frequently it kept showing fail in registration and would not allow to call or msg but incoming was on. then got new sim, again same problem. then went to settings and changed it to only gsm instead of automatic selection in network settings.since then its been fine.

  • So got this phone a week back. Ordered on ebay from korea. Some Pros and Cons based on a week's usage. Pros 1. Its a beauty. 6" screen initially may sound like too big but once its in your hand you get used to it pretty quickly. the phone is sleek, fits in hands nicely and certainly is eye catcher. 2. The battery charges very quickly as compared to other phones. 3. The screen quality is awesome. it is to be seen to be believed. i have dell streak too but to see same image on both phones, the difference in brightness, crispness, clarity is huge. 3. For heavy use on wifi and most of the time screen on playing games and chatting, the battery life is surprisingly long. 4. The camera is good. though takes some time to get used to how to operate (am no camera person)but takes clear pictures even when moving at high speed in car.no jarring, crisp details. 5. The response is amazingly fast and user experience is extremely rich and satisfying. Cons 1. The sms character limit is 80. which is not that big a problem as its mostly instant messaging these days. you can always use apps like freesmsIndia. 2. some of notifications and vega apps are in korean. will update as i explore it further.

Since it comes with 2 batteries + dock charging station , it's a added bonus . On default , it comes with Korean and English only . However , there is an official ROM from some chinese website , adding chinese to the default language beside those 2 .

  • I've recently purchased this phone - it's a TANK. I am mesmerized by the myriad of features and software that this phone offers - the camera is crystal-clear and offers a healthy choice of options, there is practically no lag or insufficient memory issues (considering its 2GB of RAM - as much as my Acer Aspire 5633WLMI, which I purchased in 2005-6 for approximately $2000). Those of you who will damage their keyboards by typing too hard to tell me that this phone is "too big" or "it looks ridiculous next to your ear" should take a deep breath and ask somebody close to you to pat you on the shoulder - the iPhone 5 was indeed a good choice. I, however, believe that this phone is leagues and leagues beyond the iPhone 5 and even the S3 and Note 2. That's my 2 cents for you guys.

  • Obviously there is 2TB technology. Otherwise How can you make a Card slot that supports one DUH! That is why this is truly a phone of the future. Even before the product is available they are supporting as the technology is already out. I remember an Asus motherboard that was supporting 16GB of Ram in a single slot even before 16 gb ram was available. People who purchased it were able to run their systems on 64GB or ram when the 1 year later(even though 16 GB was released in a few months, it was around 1year later the prices dropped) the prices dropped. Its called being future proof. They are not stupid(One has to be to be believe that)
