Philips Xenium X523 - User Reviews

  • M y father is a radio/tape mechanics since 1952 and my elder brother was attached with this company for about 25 years as a TV technician, so we normally use Philips radio/TV/tape/tube lights/home appliances etc.since then. In 2012 I bought a Philips-Xenium 523 mobile phone from Kolkata and it is very nice usuable mobile phone for me but unfortunately this set fell from my hand and its display facia was broken three months ago. Since then I have been continuously trying to replace the broken fscia in Philips servicing centre in Kolkata but everyone told me that it would not be possible to replace since non-suppling of spare parts of that model. Cause is so ridiculous to me. Now my love of Philips company is totally destroyed.

  • this is one of the best phone i have ever used. the other best one is lg gx300. both dual sim, long battery life. easy use, carry, charge, communicate, and cheap. perfect. go for anyone of these 2.

  • seems like a gr8 phone... can anyone tell me how is the pixel density ? if anyone can compare the quality with other phones it will be appreciated ... post some screenshot or pics if you can...

  • Got it from a friend in HK but no second battery in the package. Fantastic battery life and simple user interface. All I wanted from a mobile phone :). Not for those that desire a smartphone, touchscreen, music player et al.

  • My 2nd philips phone: bang on battery life (it actually comes with two 2000mAh batteries in the package!); 2 simultaniously active sim cards; very good dual sim features in the menu, easy and intuitive ui (no need to go through the manual); software to sync with outlook, backup contacts, nothing really special; but the best thing of it all - it cost me only 140Euros!

  • Excellent battery, camera and voice recording(no beeps)in two sim.It dual standby not dual active, size is very large, not slim coz of large battery, camera is good, nice led flash u can use it as torch.Superb pic quality. But design is very bad.

  • is it available in Indonesia?

  • Yes. Available in ebay and priced around Rs.4800/_

  • is it available in india

  • is the unit available in the Philippines?

  • Please tell that phones are dual stand-by or dual active

  • Is it dual sim active phone?

  • For "tiger", From what site did you buy it?! Regards

  • Hi all, I've just got my x523 as a replacement for my "old" x630. Cost me 156Euros from China. It's a superb phone for people who want a simple phone with a huge standby and talk time. I couldn't believe when i opened the package -> it comes with 2x 2000mAh batteries! The case is in matte black and it has a really nice feel. It looks brilliant. Just as my x630 it has a software package for backup and sync with outlook contacts and calendar. It's just a shame that they don't sell them in Europe.

  • What is Sar value?

  • Is this available in the Philippines?

  • Wow its Standby time =p~

  • Where in Russia i can buy this phone?

  • China, Hong Kong, Russian Federation I got my X630 from China, works like a charm! The perfect phone for me, endless talk time on one charge!

  • Ahh another kaskuser, I like to buy this one or the older model X513, since I need phone with good battery life since I go to remote area often. Salute Philips!!!

  • Philips mobile phone sold in China,China HongKong, Russia,Turkey,Singapore,India and other countries

  • in usa kenya and korea

  • Can somebody tell me where and which country are Philips mobile phones sold?

  • Philips phones seem to have a very big battery. I would like that. Smartphones are all ok but sometimes I miss good stan-by time and would give it all up for long intervals between charging my mobile.

  • Hi there Ls &Gs, nice 2 B back for a comment on the new Philips! If anybody wanna see the correct/official specification, go to: and, U'll see what this gadget can do 4 real! Have fun!
