I have had this phone for about five years, and it has done me proud. I have dropped it numerous times, spilt water on it and trodden on it and it is still working as well as it did on the first day I got it. Howver, it is simple, and for those who are interested in technology and flashiness - I wouldn't go for this phone. The camera is blurry, the videos are short, there is no bluetooth. For a simple phone, this is great, howver, and I would highly recommend it!

i did not like this phone at all. the buttons were to close together and were had to use. the setup up is terrible and theres no way i would have another sagem. however ive dropped it a couple of times and it hasn't broken.

ive had dis phone 4 about a year now and its suppurb!!!! i have droped it and stood on it (by mistake)its even fell off a van onto a rockery!!!!!! i luv dis phone defintly recomended 2 some1 whos v. careless

Hey u guyz,generally the phone is a bit alrite.I luv d language option; I use french. U can prolong your audio recording from 30 sec to 2:25 min,.Contact me and find out.Also to be able to browse and send MMS, contact ur network provider 4 the settings.Well I want to know hw to use the "voice diallin" option cos I dont knw how 2 access it.Help pls

I have had dis fone for 6 months now, the screen goes white if you use it 4 more than 20min, the camera quality is gud on pc. I expect better from sagem. All in all good phone!

why do you have to download games before playing on the phone? i think the trial games should be full. because its not every one that can access the net to get the games.

I love the fact that its got so many options to add to each person's profile, i.e. e-mail and other numbers, etc. I think the sound quality is fair. But I like the fact that I can use the infrared to send songs from my laptop to my phone, as well as pictures and videos. I don't have a problem with my net connection on the phone... the only problem i have is that i cannot send anything other than regular sms messages, which is a bugger. Anyone know to change that?

hey, this has been kinda d highest selling mobile phone in my area for some reasons mostly because of its 1daful sound display.but those that dont have it say its worthless having a phone with memory of just 4mb, video camera not lasting more than 10secs,only one cover type(ash isnt always d best u know!!!!),the vodafone customised sound n display when putting the phone on,n stuff like that.im using d phone now but i think i have to change to something better.sagem pls take note

Cant transfer pictures from my SAGEM V-56 to my laptop for others to view further process. The accompanying software has been installed in my computer yet the camer and my laptop refuse to recognize one another and let me have my pictures. Can anyone assist my SAGEM V - 56 to open up to my laptop sine my inra red connection on the -top is well and running. The fone is fine sha but the platic body is fragile and the games are just a bait. useless for entertainment.

The fone is very nice of which people envy it whenever it rings. but it would be much more good if the GPRS can connect and i can use it to browse whenever i deem fit. Apart from that the fone is one in a million and am looking forward to an improvement in the next product of the My Vs. Make the game much fun not demos.

I think its a good phone, very strong, I like the way it has IRDA on it people say the memory is crap but I dont find a problem with it.The video could be a bit longer though.

Eventually bought the phone, not as bad as I thought it was. One of the features I like is the clock display when in standby mode, it glows in the dark.

I am happy enough with the phone, espcially the decent price for it but i cant seem to find some basic features - is it not possible to copy all my numbers from my sim to the phones memory? how about the option of designating which memory is used for storing numbers, SIM or phone? I would like to store all numbers on my SIM normally but it would be nice to back them up onto the phone. Would then like option of just using SIM for phone numbers while the phones memory could be used for storing texts and pictures...etc. Just seems like the phone could be a bit more user friendly and organised, unless someone could tell me how to use these sort of options? no mention in user manual anyway

Well da sagem myv-56 is ok, tho it lacks certain features e.g:the memory is rubbish,it has a silly video recording time, it lacks connection features, even tho its got irDA (infrared)it could have bluetooth + sync for connection to my pc, it should have more multimedia files aswell, like AUDIO:it could have mp3 PICS:the pics are cool VIDEO:it should have for video file types insted of just 3gp,it should ave mp4+mpeg4 coz dere aint much videos for 3gp id rate it 8/10 4 looks 5/10 for features

Well I got this phone last december 24, 2005 in the evening where we celebrated christmas. My parent's actually gave it to me as a christmas present, but little they did not know that the phone only works in germany, for the phose is customized by vodafone. Now its been 1 month since I got I the phone and until now it still sits on its case...Now that' the problem when poeple gieve you a surprise gift. Why can't they just ask me about it, I'm better of to choose my own phone, and it's much better if I they bought the phone here, no problem cause it can be open lined. or they could just have asked the store to buy a phone which is already oplenlined.....I'm so dissapointe

I bought the Sagem as my Samsung D-500 needed to get repaired due to unforseen accident. The only reason why I got this phone was the fact that it was a cheap camera phone. The phone has its dissapointing factors like a stiff keypad, low memory which in turn slow the phone down in its applications. In my opinion this phone does not even compare to the features of a Nokia phone or the image qaulity of the Samsung D500/600.

It is a pity that gsmarena gave a wrong details about this phone earlier, it is painfull i bought it already, but take care of the ringtones too, is not up to 40 polyphonics, i should have opted for my X 5-2v, but did not found the phone details on the gsmarena which is very unusual for the site it is known for it"s leading information on all types of sets, but the wrong information on v-56 is painfull pls watch it for future reoccurence thanks

1.i discover when i bought the phone myv-56 that the ringtone is not up to 40 as declared on gsmarena and the memory space is not up to 30M, can gsm arena expalin this to me i consider these two features b/4 buying the phone and after buying, i am disappinted with the number of ringtone i met on the phone and the memory was virtually 3M as in myv-55

i htink this phone is great compared to the one i had before a sendo s330 that was rubbish i think its ace how u can make ringtones.the only downside is that it looks ugly and big! i would definatly reccomend it :)
