Samsung A411 - User Reviews

  • Great phone but how do you delete the reject number list???

  • My A411 still works perfectly on Telstra 3G/4G network here in Australia as at March 2018, in city and country locations. Note that the 2G network has been shut down. I use the phone for voice and SMS only. It has good performance in low signal-strength areas (Telstra blue tick), and has a socket for attaching a wired external antenna. Now that's SMART. I would not describe it as a "feature phone", since it runs the Symbian operating system, though it's an early version and no apps are available.

  • Had this phone since introduction but now my Provider says it won't work with the new systems coming in. What O/S does it use and how do I transfer contacts to Galaxy J1 please. It has served me well.

  • 3G - UMTS 850 band only. If you expand the "network" section of the specs above, it will give you the details

  • Is this a G3 phone?

  • can it use an external antenna

  • Hi. What has happened is that when you turned on the phone you had your other finger on the 9 key pressing the nine key and the on/off key puts the phone into download mode. Remove the battery and replace battery turn on phone on and it all should be OK Regards Brian.

  • Turned phone on and "download" came up on front.Inside we only have an orange screen. No buttons are working. We are pensioners and only ever make or receive calls.Plese how do we fix it?

  • I've had the phone for a couple of years (my first Samsung) and am very impressed. Would recommend it to anyone who wants an uncomplicated nextG phone with great coverage (including rural) and so many other positives - including battery life etc. etc. The only real problem for me is the VGA camera, and the only real problem there is the small image with lack of megapixels - otherwise camera (and video) is so easy to use. If the phone is still available - black colour is best as the red and silver have poor backlighting for the keys - difficult to read. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • how many messgaes at maximum does it hold in the inbox and sent/out box?

  • not the easiest phone to use ring tones and personal settings are limited but its functional.... i will never buy another one

  • do a master reset.. message center may have been accidentally change.. doing a master reset for the phone will default the whole program of the phone.. giving back the default message center..

  • I have owned this phone for about 1 year. The best descicion. It is very tough. its been in water. In Flour. Coulored in with Pens! RECOMMENDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • the phone in Australia is now $99

  • i also have this phone and it's not recieving messages and it wont let me send messages to certain people. is this what your phone did?

  • A good phone with great battery life (1 week). Excellent coverage on Telstra network.

  • To new to talk about but the batterie do not last more then 24 hours

  • um...wat do you do to acess blue tooth on this phone?

  • I was thinking about buying this phone, it seems good value for money, but the antennea has me worried. Do you need it for better reception or is it just there to be ugly?

  • Had this phone nearly 2yrs. Not a problem, great basic phone with a few extras.

  • this unit can i use to abroad like guam u.s.a?i mean this a triband??

  • Awesome little phone, because its just that, a phone. Bluetooth is easy, depends what your trying to with it, i have mine so whenever i get in my car it connects with my gps without having to press a button, so no problems with bluetooth at all. What are you trying to do with the bluetooth?

  • @Caner Lol thats why you don't buy them off friends, mine is great, never had a problem with it

  • Great....i have one my nan has one my pop has one my friend has one. Service and coverage is absoloutly great especially for those in rural areas like us. Clear big writing and numbers and sound is perfect...dont miss out on this phone!

  • Telefoneees is the garbage. not works st times. paid $500 4 it off friend and turn on problem power.

  • i am having a real problem trying to bluetooth!!??

  • I am having real trouble while just starting because the instruction book icons are too small for a retiree to see properly but signal coverage seems adequate so far. The camera is a joke but I carry a Pentax anyway.

  • its a good phone however the menu has been to short handed.....black and orange is good but only for so long. and why a crappy camera isn't there a in-between cheap phone good camera samsung????

  • umm could i ask how to bluetooth?

  • We bought one outright form our local Telstra shop for $149. The offer from australia post left a price of $159 after $40 cashback. The performance and coverage here in the sticks seems ok so far. Will be heading way into the high country and will be making a note of where coverage is.

  • the camera for this phone is it good or not? cos i am like considering whether shld i get it.

  • clamshell_fan i am horribly agree with you !!!!! i love clamshell samsung with antenna !!! hope to see one with a great camera with auto focus and flash and schneider lens like that in p850!!!...and also a good battery life and slim design and also os!!!! that would be a dream!!!!...would samsung make this dream come true?!!!

  • You can get the Samsung 411 from Australia Post for $199 point of sale with $50 cash back. $149 for a Next G capable phone is not bad particularly as you can get it on a pre paid deal.

  • I love Samsung antenna on their clamshells - I hope they start doing them again! Clamshells are IN - especially with atenna! This phone is Sytle!

  • this fone is toooooo good i reckonmend this phone 10 out of 10

  • this is latest new nextg mobile for telstra, 3 star rating for coverage out of 3 and blue tick for handheld use. Took a punt and its works very well, i can even get couple bars in my house where cdma didn't allow me to make a call. I bought a patch lead, which gave me bit better coverage for 20 bucks a month cant complain.

  • cute phone how much?????
