you can use operamini browser. but it doesn't support ucbrowser.This is not good for watching MOVIES because after playing 10-15 minutes you will notice that audio comes after video. bluetooth is very low. inbuilt browser is nonsence. but yeah dictonary is preloaded.sound is good for listening musics. its steel back cover makes me proud. I have been using this phone GT-C3530 since oct 2011.

This is a mid-range phone that has performed up to my expectations. I'm a guy who's grateful for small mercies. Something that is very useful is the Collins Cobuild Dictionary. All 1,900 pages of it had been put in to the phone (and many other models, as I now understand). This is an excellent learners' dictionary. Some of my pupils who have used it say that they are now able to check words and add to their vocabulary in the most unlikely situations. Another general point: why doesn't some phone-maker try having a key-pad of the 26 letters of the English alphabet in the alphabetical order that dictionaries use, on 26 keys. What I mean is, that it's time that the QWERTY keyboard be honourably retired. Two problems specific to texting on this phone: the soft keys don't light up in the dark, and I find myself pressing the Star Key instead of the "7 key".

I bought this phone within 9 months . I can't count how many problems I had faced . 1.This phone's Bluetooth is below standard bcoz of its speed . 2. It's keypad is not good at all. 3. It's software is very very slow . 4. If u put a 2gb memory card , then u want to open ur memory card , then u will wait for min 10 seconds . 5. Sometimes my phone shows "No SIM" even after the sim is present at that time . 6. It regularly gets off automatically . 7. Its battery connecting port gets loose very soon . It has also some god features lyk 1. It's camera quality is good. 2. It's battery is good . As a over all I must not suggest this phone to anybody means anybody .. It is just a wastage of money ... Really the worst Set I ever seen . :(

if u dont want 2 use the bluetooth then go for this phone. it takes nearly 25-30 mins for sending 13-15 mb data by bluebooth,so u can imagine how fast the bluetooth is.

A good phone all round. It was an excellent idea to include a good dictionary. 90% of the 1950 page Collins Cobuild Dictionary has been included. the one drawback for me is that the soft keys are not lit up during phone operation, so using the room in a poorly lit environment.

Guyz!!! This mobile phone rocks! I just bought it last weekend for Rs. 4800/- incl. taxes. I recharged battery overnight - for more than 12 hrs. (Believe me, do this for first 3-4 times and you will get better results with your battery afterwards; i tried it on several handsets already. This is just personal opinion by the way!) Battery is just awesome. Its been two days since the first full charge and only bar gone off from battery indicator (Four more left!!) My usage as below (for two days): ================================= Call time - 1 hr Messages - 15 Listening to music - more than 1 hr. Bluetooth handsfree connected - 3 hrs. Other plus points (i mean at this price, seriously!) ================================================­­==== Great BATTERY so far! Great display - 2.2" screen, good color/brightness ratio. Comparatively good image rendition. Great body - Slim, Steel back, handy and looks rich due to more metal. Audio output (3.5 inch jack) - GREAT...use good quality headsets. Not the ones which come bundled! Don't compare the music quality to SE, Nokia phones which are dedicated to music only. They cost lot more! Speaker output - Strong. You would probably not miss any call in crowded area also. Call recording - Yes (this is standard feature in many phones but in few samsung metro series, this function was missing; i was irritated then!) Camera - 3.2 MP at this price and that too very good quality. No red spots and noise seen when I copied photos to my laptop. I believe it is much better than many other 3/5 MP cameras. Universal MicroUSB port for charging and connectivity (No SAMSUNG propriety port!) Some Limitations (it doesn't matter much for me!) ================================================­­= Not so comfy keypad for people who likes to text continuously. Keys are plain and no bumps on keys for easy press. However, it still work nicely, once you get used to it. No feature to create new customized themes (its available in other metro series) MicroSD slot has no separate opening. Need to open battery cover. No picture editor! (Can't rotate, resize the pictures). Rely on your PC. No additional fonts (By this time Samsung should start providing font change option in non-touch handsets also) Average video recording quality but workable at times. ================================================­­===== I hope this provides good and comprehensive review to any of you who are looking forward to buy handset in the range of Rs. 5000/- or less.

hey ppl, i think this is the best phone with fully loaded features in THIS RANGE (4k). i have gone thru several forums since last 1 week or so and found multiple phones in this range . Samsung C3530 looks like the best one beating Sony Cedar (hanging issue),Nokia (bad battery and auto restarts ) , Motorola (not many prefer it but it also sounded good ) .. the only drawback with C3530 as per the several forums is THE BLUETOOTH being slow.. but hello..if u r getting so many features with superb battery power who cares for Bluetooth.. move on .. i currently have LG S365 which is painfully slow and battery is poor , so i will switch to this SAMSUNG Beauty..

i will suggest to buy cedar it is best at that price range.that is far better than the both. cedar has great downloading speed as compared to both phones and it also have multitasking feature which is allow to minimise application at one time. it also have preloaded facebook application for used.the phone have also feature pop mail which will you get direct notification of your email.i have not know about audio chat beacause i have know any idea about that. so it also depend upon you. i think you have buy cedar.

not at all good phone custome message tone rings more than one time by default each time you need to set all settings when phone get restarted each time need to add files in plalist when u change the mamery card custom ringtones automatically get added in phone memory bluetooth is very slow photo editing rather photo rotating is also not their samsung needs to work on basic mobiles first... otherwise its good phone ;-)

This phone is the best option currently available on the market in its price range: - Yes, Bluetooth is not usable - Yes, you cannot install java apps which are more than 800 kb in size - Camera is only for daylight pics But, in other functionality it does job well. Especially when it comes to the calls and messaging. Thank you Samsung.

I have this phone; picture quality of still images is good. Audio quality is also good through speaker and earphone. Truly speaking I don't impress with the interface of this phones. There are some minor problems in the interface that irritates me many times. I don't know about other samsung phones but this phone doesn't let me install software greater than size 1 mb. Playlist creation is also another headache. First thing it doesn't identify the folder structure while creating the playlist and it also not showing some of my mp3 songs present in the phone while creating the playlist. And the worse thing is that when you remove the memory card from it also erases the all the playlist and it don�t show it even after entering memory card again. Loudness of the speaker is ok but not that good. Keypad is also little hard to use. Video recording is of poor quality. Chat messenger is there so you don�t need to install separately. Old version of opera mini browser works fine on this mobile, but I am not able to use the latest one. Bolt browser is working properly. Bluetooth of this mobile is too slow to use. Screen brightness is good. You can take backup of your messages and contacts on the memory card. I tried to send email with attachment but I am not able to do it. If anyone knows the proper email setting please let me know. So overall this is the good feature phone with this price range, but they should have work more on its interface. If you want to know anything about this phone you can ask me.

I wanted a handset with good battery life, good sound n music and good camera. I am happy to say that I have not been disappointed after buying Samsung C3530. Thanks to all reviewers on GSMARENA. To those who are looking forward to buy a new handset, I wud say that a genuinely good handset comes at a price. This handset might seem an expensive one when compared to others with similar features, but keeps well its promises. A touchscreen with 3G+music+camera still comes above 10K, when quality matters to you most (No TS and 3G in 3530). On last note, I wud like to say that I ve a cute handset with qualities desired by me (No 3G was required, I surf net on my laptop inexpensively and don't have time for chatting).

Hi, I had the same problem, and was irritated at first, but later found out that the back cover should be pressed from the top more, after the cover gets locked initially. It means put the back cover normally until you hear the snap, then press from the top towards bottom (only the back cover, not the phone)with little pressure, it will go little further downwards, then the problem should be gone. Hope it helps.

I recharged battery overnight - for more than 12 hrs. (Believe me, do this for first 3-4 times and you will get better results with your battery afterwards; i tried it on several handsets already. This is just personal opinion by the way!) Battery is just awesome. Its been two days since the first full charge and only bar gone off from battery indicator (Four more left!!) My usage as below (for two days): ================================= Call time - 1 hr Messages - 15 Listening to music - more than 1 hr. Bluetooth handsfree connected - 3 hrs. Other plus points (i mean at this price, seriously!) ================================================­­==== Great BATTERY so far! Great display - 2.2" screen, good color/brightness ratio. Comparatively good image rendition. Great body - Slim, Steel back, handy and looks rich due to more metal. Audio output (3.5 inch jack) - GREAT...use good quality headsets. Not the ones which come bundled! Don't compare the music quality to SE, Nokia phones which are dedicated to music only. They cost lot more! Speaker output - Strong. You would probably not miss any call in crowded area also. Call recording - Yes (this is standard feature in many phones but in few samsung metro series, this function was missing; i was irritated then!) Camera - 3.2 MP at this price and that too very good quality. No red spots and noise seen when I copied photos to my laptop. I believe it is much better than many other 3/5 MP cameras. this is the best handset due to classic feel and soft keypad,the other features are good 3.15 MP cam, 16 GB exp Memory slot, internet connectivity via PC/ laptop is quite good and fast and easy in pocket. the talk time i get around 10 hours and standby is for 4 to 5 days.

this mobile is nice....but it has a problem...it can't take too much stress of downloading and transferring data over bluetooth is slow(except with samsung).Otherwise its good. and it is not 8GB, it is 16GB expandable. very soft keys, picture quality is good, high voice clarity and the sound of the ear phone is crystal clear, battery backup good,1 hour voice recording. and it has a screen cover which is very thin. all over its a sophisticated and user friendly phone for those who loves to use cell.

In higher end there is only difference is OS... Apple OS,Blackberry OS,Symbian,Android,Windows 7,Bada.. For example If u consider Android platform u can either buy samsung or lg or moto or sony or HTC..There difference only in hardware and shape of the phone...

Lol, what are the similarities of Nokia 2700 and this one? The D-PAD? Lol, Every non-touchscreen phones have d-pads. So don't say that only nokia can use that kind of Key Pad. I saw nokia 2730 and 2700, and they are faaaaaaaaaar from this phone's look. Their similarities is that they both have a curved body and that DPAD your saying.... But if you try to compare the two.. Samsung C3530 is by far, has a better design than nokia's.

This phone design looks good compare to other samsung model. It also looks like Nokia c5 but Nokia C5 keypad is spaceous and has a expandable micro sd card up to 16g. I will buy this phone only if this is a dual sim phone unfortunately this is not.
