Samsung Continuum I400 - User Reviews

  • Yeah I took my Samsung apart to get to THE connector to my phone so it can charge I have open it all up aand disconnected the small plugins in the back of the sinci did I put back all together I tur. It on and if shows the. Screen ut when I move my thumb across the screen it doesn't want to side open

  • ck your time out screen and adjust

  • This phone is horrible!! I've struggled with it since almost day one. It locks up constantly and will randomly turn off (which is really handy when it's my alarm clock!!!). Do not for any reason get it.

  • i forgot my password plz help me to unlock my galaxy s i400 thx

  • Its a cdma device, so it doesnt accept sim cards, and can't be unlocked.

  • This one no uses any kind of SIM card...

  • does this phone need sim card or micro sim like iphone 4? i have phone from u.k. but i can't operate it. i need to activate it and want to used local sim from the phil. can someone give me answers. really appreciate it. thank you!

  • Great phone, no problems runs great.

  • it is a good mobile and its camera is good and I love it very much and i advice you to buy it

  • The grip sensor activates the bottom LCD which can QUICKLY open messages, missed calls, or the local weather... without having to turn on the main LCD, a good battery saver

  • It has 2gb internal memory! You have tons of room for your messages.

  • WTF is grip sensor? For what?To tell me how much I'm strong? But it looks to be a good phone.

  • I don't think this would work in the Philippines. The PH uses GSM/UMTS and this phone has neither. It's in CDMA, so it doesn't use any SIM card

  • CDMA does use SIM cards. AWS, CDMA, and GSM are different type of radio frequencies that carriers/phones use.

  • CDMA equipped phones have a very quite different working type than GSM. GSM phones use sim cards to get signal and provide the communication while CDMA phones use no sim cards and are in contact with the network that supplies communication for immobile home phones. This kind of (CDMA) phones are like your settled home phone which you can carry whereever you go as far as I know.

  • it will work only on UMTS network (3G). dont think that is good idea!

  • hey can i shift my sms memory into memory card.(usually most of hendsets from samsung have only limited no of sms or phone memory for messages).is there memory selection facility in it

  • think of it as a an upgraded, digital version of the old PHILTEL & EXTELCOM cell service of the 90's. doesn't use any sim cards like globe or all the rest of the mobile providers in the phils now. so NO, you can't use this phone in the philippines.

  • what's the difference whether the phone is GSM or not?? help pls.. i'm from philippines =D

  • Just because doing a screen shot in eclipse results in both images being captured doesn't REALLY prove it's just one physical screen though does it. I guess only a tear-down with resolve this.

  • Actually it is only one screen SFAN is right. To prove this, go into Eclipse with the Android SDk installed and take a screen shot of your phone, it will include the "top screen" the buttons and the "bottom screen" which means it is all one screen that is just divided by the buttons.

  • @SFAN you are completely incorrect I own the Continuum and it is two separate screens. Both are SAMOLED. It is obvious you don't know what you are talking about because u don't have the phone.

  • It's actually one one, they just happen to have a plastic cover designed over it... it's not really capacitive buttons, it's a part of the screens as well.

  • LOL, CDMA (what?, back to the 80's anybody?)

  • Finally, Samsung CDMA android phone released

  • @MADS you are not the Apple police. You stop.

  • LOL... that was good

  • it's becouse if the main screen whore to stay active just to show a miss call or the clock it whould it at the battery like crazy ....

  • Call me ignorant, I really don't know why you need two screens when you can just increase the size of one. What's next? Three screens? One screen would also display how many screens your three screen device has? Or it should have a big notice where it updates whenever a new phone with more screens have been announced.

  • Does it really have a gyro or is that still Samsung's combination of an accelerometer and compass that they try to pass off as a gyro?

  • great idea with that ticker

  • wish they would release a phone with a gsm network... :]
