I had D410 few years and to print pictures over infrared you need to connect your D410 with PC using infrared usb adapter. After you copy pictures from D410 using infrared over usb then you can print pictures from your pc normally.

maybe the problem is the flex cable you replaced is not good, you should check again or replace another flex so that you will know if the the flex is the problem or the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display, observe the phone or go to the nearest repair shop

If your screen turnes white, menaing that you have adamaged the connection between the phone and the screen. You must change the band it costs around US$ 25 to get it changed.

I got this phone from a friend almost 2 years ago as a gift and gave it to my wife to use. For these two years, this phone never had any problems whatsoever, with all the hard usage and heavy usage that my wife does it works great. All I did was to change the casing to make it look new. ok so i have had the samsung d410 for about 9 months, now this is an okay type of phone the only problem i have with it is the fact that u cant have mp3 ringtones, no bluetooth, no edge, no voice dialing & speakerphone. for a phone that cost over 200 $$ it lacks a lot of features. another problem is when u slide the phone down to close, the screen goes blank and you must hold down the send key then press another key to unlock it ( time consuming). the infared barely works and when it does , you dont receive anything. no offense but this phone is more made for adults than a teenager. so if they're any teens who are looking to buy this phone, i suggest you search for a different one.

i have the phone with me for more than a year but the i have no hassles with it so far. in fact, i love taking pictures with it.the resolution is very clear. the only problem is that the video time is very limited as well as the voice recording. other than that, it is considered a treasure for me.

started with v200 den fall inlove with samsung. i love the design of d410. you just have to take care of it because its not like any other phone that you can change the housing anytime but hey is that how we're supposed to treat something if it's important to us. the service light is so useful coz if i to put my phone in the silent mode all i have to to is peep in my bag and look if the color of my service light is red. the design is sophisticated and still eye catching. never encounter any major problem with my phone unlike the old phone i had of diff brand hanged 3x times so i they have to reformat my phone and lost all my contacts and other impt data in my phone. so far i have no bad experience with my samsung. for me, the quality, maybe not one of the best but certainly good and the price, it's worth buying.

been using it 4 more dan a year. bought it fron an autorize dealer. so far i love the fone & the only problem i encounter was the connector but luckily it happened b4 my warranty expires so i didn't pay a single cent and the people from their service center were so accomodating. started with v200 then fall in love with samsung. eventhough d410 is old model but i still love it. love its design & still eye catching.

excellent phone to have. there's something about this phone which stands out from others although it is an old model but people still "wow" when they see me take out the phone. love the camrea function as it is one of the best VGA i've ever seen. dun really like the sms and the part where you searh for names abit troublesome..but overall, a very classy phone and stands out among phones.

I just traded in my D410, it looked brand new from the outside, not a single scratch. I've always taken good care of it. But I don't know if it's because it's second hand, the phone spoilt 2 times. No LCD screen could be seen at all. it was blank. The repairman said that my phone had a lot of problems and the only way was to give it to someone else.

Screen goes blank or distorted all the time, have to reboot(turn off/on) everytime it does it. Have to keep in slide-up position just to use it. No sound, caller can hear u but u cant hear them both incoming and outbound calls, have to use ear speakers all the time. ring+vibrate doesnt work since day 1. Only had it for a year. not worth it; not good for emergencies. I learned my lesson, i will stay with my junkie old phone, still works perfect. so much for 400 bucks.

I had the D410 before it got stolen few weeks ago. It is such a great phone. I'm female and very used to small, cute lady-like things, but I couldn't resist the D410. Its a large phone, but I still love it. I'm getting another one pretty soon. I thought of going for the D500, but I don't like the black colour and my dealer can't seem to find the silver of it. I had the same problem with the D410 months ago - the screen went blank, couldn't receive calls as the other person on the line would not hear me. I took it to the Samsung office here and the LCD lens (or so)was replaced. I didn't have anymore problems with the phone until it got stolen. I'm honest enough to admit that I might still have the same problem with the new one I'm getting next week, but as long as it can be repaired, I'm still loving it!!!

I really like this phone but recently the phone went dead. I saw similar postings with the same problem. First, the screen went blank, I could not see anything at all. I removed the battery and as others described it worked for sometime but then it went blank again. Another problem was the phone could not play the ringtones, or any of the sounds. Thir problem, people who called me or I called could hear me but I did not hear them. Great phone with a lot of issues. NOthing against Samsung but I am getting the K750 now.

Hi anuscake, i'm having the same problem on the white screen and seems like others also having the same problem. However temporary to solve the white screen, i take out the battery and leave it for at least an hour then attach it back... it works for mine... but i'm not too sure for yours... no harm trying... quite disappointed with this phone :(

Do Not Buy this Phone. 1. paint fades in two months 2. you cant hear the person on the other line after 8 months(have to use headset) 3. Screen will flash white then black, then die. 4. NO MP3, No Bluetooth --. It's a cool phone, but for around $500, it wont last you that long.

Hi, I have a problem with sam. D410; the screen goes white and I can't hear the person i'm talking to. They can hear me though, plus I've to use headsets to hear them. I could barely go to my phonebook since the white screen shows up. I can't even send it to my phone providers since they don't have this kind of phone. There is no phone providers that stand behind this phone. Therefore, they can't fix it. I bought it in Africa and I live in Canada and I wanted to know what would be the next step to take to get the manufactured warranty, I still have the 1 yr warranty. I do have the receipt and the box. Plus, I called the 1-800-samsung and they said they only fix US phones. Please help me, I spent a fortune on this phone.

E800 is a nice fone, but the downside of it is it doesnt have a videorecorder. cute slider fone for ladies.. while D410 is more masculine complete photo/video and with a brilliant 262K screen.. none of nokia screen can match.... whos's interested of buying a SAMSUNG D41- for only $328...

the sgh-d410 is a piece of crap! it has a video feature that is worthless, u cant send video via mms, there is no send or forward funcrion for video! u cant upload to the computer because no avi compressors are available. u cant download wavs mp3 or midi for ring tones only mmf whatever format that is. u cant download pics to the fone or gifs unless u want to spend hours shrinking them down small enough to fit the phones requirments. anyone knows a solution to these problems i would sure like to know! not happy at all!!!!

In the D410 they have VIDEO RECORDING, 256K COLOR SCREEN, ROTATING CAMERA In the E800 they have THE MOST GORGEOUS LOOKING PHONE but none of the above, and its a bit more round and better looking compared to the D410. hmmm...I had this phone for about a month now...has disappointed me with anything yet...it's just the software that I'm using is pissing me off...the ringtone size can only be of 40kb...in Korea you can be sent an sms to increase the size limit to a mp3 file limit...approx 4mb...hmmm...that's the only disappointing thing so far...

ok...get a program called midi2poly and install it~! then...download your mp3 file and then convert it to .wav files from Nero or somethinge...and then cut the part you like of the song from midi2poly...and then convert it .mmf file from the program...set the maximum size as 40 000byte because that is the limit of the D-410~! or...you can just and get the D710 which can directly accept mp3 or wav files~! have fun~!

How does the res. look crap with this camera...? It's better than any of the Nokia camera images that I've seen so far...well...I do agree that the D-410 of the Korean model is WAY~~~ better than this...but still...in the Western market it's probably rated one of the best cameras in the market...don't u think? and what do u mean so little functions? It has heaps...the only functions that are missing is 2 things...Bluetooth and Speakerphone...what else do u need? It has everything? u may complain there's no mp3 but u can convert into a polyphonic which is EXACTLY the same as mp3...it plays like my mp3 player no problem...

Excellent phone. Been using it for 3 months now. Taking into account my usage style, the battery lasts for 5 days. Lovely colours,Nice size screen, easy to use once you get used to it. Wanted to get the Nokia6600, but only 65k colour screen. Previous phone was Ericsson r600. Need I say more? Slider function is ace!Handsfree is a bit annoying, the wire should've been more flexible and shorter. On my ericsson, the handsfree had a Telephone cable type of spiral design. Didn't get in the way, only thing about the phone that I really liked! The D410 with 250k colours and 64 poly sounds is the best I've seen and heard ever and so far is unbeatable. Way to go SAMSUNG!

they are phone screens and they are television screens. dis has a television screen. it's perfect. Hi Craig, i think is your photo size is set to 640 X 480 therefore it can't zoom, try to change your photo size setting to 320 X 240 or lesser.

Yes Samsunglover, I hope they will come out with a unit with memory card next. My sharp v801sh does over 330 minutes continuous with 176x144 in highest quality mode with a 256MB SD card and stores massive amount of 1144x858 still photo. Although I have to pay for the service in Japan to keep the phone up and running, it does help when I travel to Japan that I don't need to rent and return cell phone, able to use it in the US and Japan anytime. Hi Craig, when you're on the camera or video mode, pressing of the right cursor allows you to zoom whereas left cursor shows a better preview(although seems like larger but is actually the same), however the zoom is not really that good :(

Hi mike, think it only have 3MB allocated for the video but it depends the display you set for the video 176X160 or 128X96 and if you record one full clip with 176X160 is roughly 1MB although there is 20slot but if all use 176X160, it can only record around 3full clip of roughly 15-20sec each. Hope this helps.. but one comment is that the video's memory is too little..

i anticipated this phone for monthes and got it when it finally came out im ot sure it was worth the wait dont gt me wrong this phone is great feature wise, the screen is amazing but two things turned me off. one was the fact that it does not have a speakerphone thats a big minus and it was bigger then i expected . its pretty big for a slide phone with the antena that makes wrose. im waiting for the seimens sl65 comes out i know that one will fit in my pocket with out looking looking like i have a microwave in their :)

I really like this phone - easy to use and understand. Only problem i have with it is that i wish i could turn the vibrating alert off when on silent (maybe there is a way, if any one knows, email me) and the sound isnt always that clear when making calls.

I actually took my time to write this little review, so right THERE, it shows how much I like this phone... First, my sister is a general manager for T-Mobile, so I have used practically every single phone out there (no, really)...I'd have to say this is my favorite one out of all. FIRST... I bought it today, went through all the work to find webpages to post my own reviews, and I'm not even one to go out of my way for others, but im writing this review for you guys, to let you know. SECOND... I love the design, the only phone design I like better is the Motorola V70 (old, I know, but I just love the design). THIRD... I love the features, I dont need to list them, ppl here already did on this webpage. FOURTH... The price, cost me nothing, but it runs at $300, and I would pay up to $500! FIFTH... The -=ONLY=- thing I dont like about this phone (and it disapointed me) is, the lack of speakerphone. Thats all, ya a memory card would be nice, maybe smaller, lighter, etc, but thats all no big deal because it gets justified by the good things about it. Speakerphone ability is a big thing to me personally, its a HUGE plus, or a HUGE minus...That IS the only thing wrong with this phone. I highly suggest this phone, I have tried every phone out there, trust me, you will NOT be disapointed. This is a real review, from an average guy.

us version is d415 carried by T-mobile. It is only dual band not unlike d410 which is tri-band. it was not a mistake traciee...it cost $299.00 witha activaton at T-mobile. You can bu unlocked d410 for over $400.00

As pointed out by an unknown person on 13/07/2004 the D410 does not have bluetooth, and has very limited memory and the infa-red is a virtually useless feature on this handset but, unfortunately this person has not reasearched this phone entirely as it does have JAVA apps and yes Mitsubishi have made 262K screens in the past but these were STN screens which although do use less power than TFD screens they do this at the cost of image quality therefore I find it extremely pedantic to make this comparison.

Don't understand the high votingrate (about a 8) for this trashphone. It has many problems as you could see on www.mobileburn.com The Sharp tm100 is much better (also 262K and slide system). And ohhh what a hugh size and heavy weight. Also the extern antenna as its big like one on a 90th phone. Not recommended and worth a 4 instead of an 8.

Just got this phone for free in the UK..... I am well impressed, the picture quality is astounding and the camera facilities are incredible too, self timer, rapid picture taking, multi shot option and loads of effects for the pictures. Ok so its not got mp3 ringtones or bluetooth but hey polyphonic ringtones are fine and I cant stand those people walking round with their bluetooth headsets on thinking their cool anyway, it might be useful for handsfree but normal handsfree kits are just fine anyway.... THIS PHONE ROCKS AND IS DIFFERENT TO EVERYONE ELSE WITH THEIR GX30's & 6230's!!!

I Just Got the D410 Yesterday, and May i say it's the best phone anyone can ever have. I've used Nokia and Ericsson before, and both are no match for the D410. The picture quality is second to non, with 262,144k most up to date mobiles are only 65k, 5x better. If you disagree....GET A DIGITAL CAMERA!! Best Phone!!! Although i dont mind bluetooth with it.

Yah!Your right murat,the phone is really nice..I read it yesterday. It is full of great features than nokia 7650 but nokia 7650 is the winner on its original design.

this phone was originally 64chords with 1.3Megapixel in Korea. I am wondering why they degraded to this phone, although it is currently the best performing phone internationally. This phone also used to have TV-tuner inside with CDMA EV-DO 2x, with 0.3megapixel camcorder function inside. This used to be the best phone in korea about 6 months ago. I am so curious why samsung always degrade their phones when they sell in other countries. I am guessing it is because of its price....
