Samsung E1230 - User Reviews

  • I saw this phone in an Argos catalogue for Autumn/Winter 2011

  • Dear Lainey sorry I cannot help you as I have exactly the same problem.

  • I'm on tmobile and my friend is also but she can't recieve any of my text messages but I can recieve hers, I've gone through everything and there is no blocks or anything on either phones. Please can anyone tell me why??

  • All I needed this for was texting and an alarm...but is there any way to actually get new ringtones/alarm tones? I can't seem to figure it out.

  • It appears you can't, just as you can't put your mp3s on it and it's a mp3 player... whoever knocked this together wasn't thinking clearly, methinks. Or maybe it was built from a pile of components used on other phones. Still, it's cheap as chips, and it allows you to make calls and send SMS.

  • Just bought one. It's charging as I type this. One thing I want to know is: I haven't used this phone yet but it comes with earphones, it's got a radio on it... but I can't see any way to put music on it. Is there a way? Seems daft to me for the phone to come with earphones, a regular headphones jack, and not play mp3s.

  • I want to know as well

  • But at least you can hear anything your companion says through cheap nokia. And with Samsung you need to re ask what did he say every time

  • How do you get ringtones and wallpapers on the handset, when it doesn't have a browser or usb connect?

  • no

  • hi , can i use display like a torch light

  • settingd > text messages > block number

  • this phone have any call blocker system?

  • Great phone but i can not seem to add a + sign infront of a mobile number

  • I have applied security code but unfortunately ive forgotten the code,What can I do to unlock myphone and get an access to my messages and use it normal

  • I own the Samsung E1182 and when I plug in the handsfree the ringer goes silent. It's so frustrating! So can you hear the ringer when you plug in the handsfree on this model??

  • I brought this handset as it was cheap, reliable and a back up phone. It does the basics which is all I want it for. No regrets in buying this.

  • How is the music experience on this phone? Is the speaker loud enough?

  • yes

  • has it a loud speaker??

  • Indeed, you hear very well what your companion says in a cheap Nokia. But people near you can hear it perfectly as well thanks to voice leakage specific to cheap Nokias. Better ask once more your companion on a Samsung then let know anybody about your personal things to anyone. I got a Nokia C1-01 and a Nokia 100 - I decided to buy them because "Nokia is the best". Yeah, right... I'm having a hard time trying to sell them at half the price right now. Meantime I'm using my old - Nokia 2230 - that gets me out of mind on a daily basis. I'll never buy a Nokia again...

  • This is a great basic phone, with nothing exiting or surprising. I use it for a month now without any problem. It's charge lasts for more than 10 days. It has no Voice memo feature (as listed int the specification above), but has a text memo and an easy to use alert function, which operates well even when the phone has switched off. As this is a good product from a reliable manufacturer there is no doubt this is one of the best choice of those who need just basic mobil phone functionalities.

  • no open dual sim together ..........

  • In my country there's an offer these days for get one for 29,90 Euro and get one more for free! Definately a good deal for a phone destined for standard use

  • ##002# for Vodafone users

  • how do i get to automatic divert on the phone to remove this. Whenever a caller phones the phone automatically gets rejected, need toi switch this fuction off please help

  • its a good models shape wise .

  • But at least you can hear anything your companion says through cheap nokia. And with Samsung you need to re ask what did he say every time.

  • i think is very very good for my,i diserved

  • nokia-phones can´t block unknown incoming calls, but it´s possible with cheap samsung-phones..

  • I think this phone gonna cost like 3 dollars!! al o al

  • When it comes to the cheapest mobile-segment, Nokia is still the topdog. I wouldnt look anywhere else.

  • really? this kind of phones still exist and still being made? now thats new...it is NFC capable though,,, No Fun Cellphone lol
