Hi, I did really go through the reviews before I could actually purchase it. In my frank opinion, after using for about 3 months now, I'd give it 95% for its features but only 40% when it comes to actual performance....If the performance is little up, I'd certainly recommend it for every one.

I had this phone and I really didn't like it. To start with: the battery life sucks, the camera quality isn't good either, when you listen to the mp3 player you can only make for playlists with a maximum of 16 songs per playlist, so only 64 songs total. The thing I really hate is the phone's headphone connector. I have bought multiple adapters so that you can put a standard 3.5mm and that problem was, the fm reception was useless when that was plugged in, so unless you want horrible fm reception, you'll have to use the earphones that came with the phone! I'd stay away if I were you

u can put any 4 digit no like 0000 or any or figures and the phone u are connecting ur bluetooth to has to put that pin...thats to connect bluetooth between both phones...once u put this pin for one handset it automatically gets connected henceforth wit dat phone and u need not connect again wit this pin number...but make sure both ur phone and d phone ur connecting ur bluetooth must insert d same number.

Does anyone else have this problem? When I receive a Text Message then the alert sound only plays for a fraction of a second... same thing with the vibrate function. So I keep missing my text messages. All is fine with Pic and Video messages... but Text is screwed up. When I go into the sound settings and play the selected sound it's fine, but it's still not working when I receive a message. Any thoughts?

Im not sure if this works, but if u want 2 install game on ur phone first u hav 2 enter this code like ur calling someone: *#9998*4678255# and it should give u a message sayin 'activated' then u just click on da .jad file and it should install. i hope this works 4 u guys.

I've had this mobile from October and personally i think that there are mobiles which are so much better than this on first of all the screen gets white frequently sometimes i even have to pull out d battery 2 make it work U can't play d music u have in d folders or the memory card in d playlists and d lst one the duration of my battery is like 3 days :S :S it is such a pitty dis mobile has an excellent visual aspect!!

i had this phone for like 2 months. However i dropped it a couple times...nothing broken but just a few scratches. until today, i accidently dropped it on a concrete floor, the screen went white and i turn it off and turn it back on again same thing.. be extra careful if u are using this phone and handle it with extra care.

It around 3 months I am using it and found these problems other than the ones listed by rest: 1) Phone camera very poor 2) Phone battery gets hot after long calls and drains out 3) Doesn't contain A2DP as mentioned in the site. It doesn't allow stereo Bluetooth headphone music streaming 4) You cannot allow you to create playlist out of songs present in SD card ; if the music files are organizaed in folders 5) Doesn't allow files directly transfered to the SD card ; need need to copy files of max 17 MB to the phone memory and then from there to the mico-SD card. It's a pain using this phone. 6) Last but not the least is very very low incoming call tone. I fought a lot to get it recalled or replaced but these guys are reluctant to admit that these are faults .. they say these are "features". I don't know when they will understand the difference.

This phone is a piece of sh**. Have it for five months,camera poor,nowhere near SE,music player can't be minimized,video is not displayed fullscreen,only 65K color/low resolution,headset's a pain in ears,no Anti-alias on texts,drab SMS-tones etc etc. Although the buttons made me happy,but nothing else. great phone, got today. Really slim and stylish. Love the fm radio and mp3 player feature. Idk why everyone says that the sound is low, i think it's pretty loud! I don't like that you can't use the bluetooth headset to listen to music but that's alright. Would really recommend this phone.

@Julie Ho Tran unfortunately, ring and vibrate at the same time is a feature that almost all Samsung phones lack. other thing that bothers me is that constant absence of a simple feature like VOICE DIALING. not to mention having to use those awful built-in message tones...

1) Display is good...not many colors but its bright.It is not a regret.But if you watch video on mobile very often then you better look for some other sets.Videos are not displyed full screen and of course not all colors displayed. 2) Resolution Problem: You might have got your phone memory full. Try emptying it out and then increase the resolution. 3) Battery Problem: Don't worry mine also shows only one bar while charging. But battery does lasts as expected. I can use it for 2 days without charging. 4)Adding Songs: read my other opinions... :)

according to e210 can support upto 2 GB. But I found nothing about it on the samsung website. If you can read any file from the memroy card then read further.... yes it stores the files in specific folder only. its like this... Images - for pictures Videos - for videos Music - for mp3s and wmas Sounds - for ringtones etc. Other Files - for games and other files (see the builtin memory structure) Notice one thing hear put all your mp3s directly below Music. e.g Music/song1.mp3 Music/song2.mp3 Music/song3.wma . . Music/song100.mp3 If you follow this you should find all the songs i.e song1 to song100 in the 'add to playlist - memory card' option. Hope this helps :)

ok... If the display is off I can only see time on the externatl screen. Outside screen shows the "missed caller" or the "message sender" only for few seconds. You can make the message tone(or vibration) to repeat after 2 mins (in the sound setting) if its that important for you... :)

Thanks hean. I have a 4GB micro SD card that has music on it but when i got to add music to playlists, the phone says the card is empty. Do the songs have to be in a particular folder named something specific?? also maybe the phone doesn't support a 4GB micro sd??

e210_fan, can you try the following: Call your E210 from another phone. Don't answer. The missed call notice should show up on the external display, but a few seconds later (when the external display backlight turns off), does the missed call notice disappear, and the display return to the clock view only? Mine does that. It doesn't seem right. If I flip open the phone and close it again, the missed call notice will show up, only to disappear again when the external display backlight turns off.

1) You can add music from memory card into the playlist. It does support WMA 2)The video player cannot play in full screen mode. It can play MP4 videos but only of small resolution e.g. 176X144 or something like that... 3) You cannot insatll music player on this machine. huh....

Does anyone know how to make the missed calls show up on the external display? A few seconds after a missed call on my phone, the external display returns to the clock view and there's no status information there unless I hold down the volume button, or flip open the phone.

You need put your songs in playlist if you want to listen to songs with lid closed.... Upper display is visible only for a second of two after the lid is closed.. It shows useful information like...Incomming callers's name,new message,mp3 song being played,new message,TIME by default... time can be seen even when it is not backlighted like calculator's LCD screen...

battery life in not that bad... specifiactions says it has got talktime of 3.5 hrs. I have noticed that if you play games for more time the battery loses faster than listening to music. I need to charge it everyday if I play 1 Hr of games and 5 hrs of music on it inclucigng 5-6 calls.

Gray one...Its really good looking as it is being said...One thing I nothiced is everyone apretiated its design...Screen is not a regret...If you are not buying mobile pnone just watch Videos then the the screen is not bad at all...because of its 70k screen colors you can see the screen in bright light condition also...It has very bright screen...Menu is user friendly...Music Player is good but no eqalize...but i dont thing its needed as music played sounds good...FM quality is also good...both stereo...Camera still to see...It didn't come with data cable hear in India...It cost me 6000/- Rs with 1 GB MicroSD card...I think it was very good deal...

I think 1GB card would be enough ...as there is nothing more you can do with this handset...screen size small for video...not good in music too(no equalizer)...1.3 mp camera thus needs less space for storage compared to 2 mp camera...

to yuiti.....it's not only the 65k diplay but the resolution too it's only 120 x 160...verry bad my first phone in 2004 had the same rezolution and it's bad you will see the pixels on the screen :(...i like the phone too verry much

phone now 4weeks old but the battery problem persists.When ever it shows low charge and i put it up for charge,the charge up screen always shows one bar charging out of 3 i.e 2 bars are always charged.is it a flaw with my set or is it same with all others ? Wow i just got this phone today and its awesome! i love it heaps! the sound of the mp3 played on this phone sounds good (: its very slim/sleek, nice design, quite light, soft-ish keypads, BUT cannot do other things on the phone when listening to music. internal memory is 17mb but memory card will be good (: and im glad it loads fast! the last phone i had was awesome too (samsung e770) but playing the songs from it loaded mega slow off the memory card mine didnt come with a memory card, but i already had one. theres two skins, black/white, i prefer black (: THIS PHONE IS GREAT! i recommend it to anyone! its awesome!

hi guys i am from india .i just bought the phone 2 weeks back.What i like about te phone is its sleek style n gud camera. but tell you what the batterylife is not gud at all.Mine lasts only 2 days without much work.On top of it you can't run any other application while listening to its Mp3 player. Another genuine problem is that while tranfering via bluetooth default storage is phone which can't be changed(don't know why)so can't tansfer file greater than 17 mb even if u have an emty memory card.

hey guys i was wondering how the battery life is for the e210? i have a samsung z150 and it has a 900mAh battery and i need to charge it every third day(this is when i hardly use it) which i find really annoying. the e210 has a 800mAh battery so im guessing it would be worse? and i should stay away from it if i want a phone with longer usage between charges? cheers

Samsung E210 is indeed a nice looking phone. What makes the deal sweeter is that it is also an affordable phone. Opening the box, I am immediately greeted by a sensibly black glossy phone and taking the phone out revealed how compact and light the phone is-what i like most is that it feels sturdy. Switching the phone on immediately revealed a clear and bright interface thanks to the healthy resolution. While I had used better Samsung phones before, this entry level phone built to budget conscious consumers-this has indeed exceeded my expectations. The 1.3 MP camera delivers good quality pictures and the FM Radio works wonder when you tire out from your MP3 player music. A couple of shortcomings on behalf of the manufacturer- the incoming call should have been ring and vibrate the same time and not vibrate first and ring later option as I find this system silly and unnecessarily. Secondly embeded wallpapers need to be freshen up and so are the SMS tones- they are either too soft or just outright bad. Besides that, the E210 is a good phone. I wholly reconmmend this phone to everyone if you are able to look past some of its shortcommings.

Not bad at all. Been a week, and I find functions gd, all up to standard. Extra stuff like SOS msgs, reject button (on side) with auto msg sent, brilliant menu display, gd camera n video (with wide variety of settings), shortcuts, voice recording etc (list goes on!). Therefore nothing major to complain abt, but some minor things to note: I don't think it has customised profiles where u can set your preferences(if someone figures that out, pls let me know!), only has silent (mute or vibrate) or sound. I cld set 5-6 diff profiles for diff senarios with my old old nokia (e.g. outdoor -loud with vibrate, meeting -lights but mute, quiet office -softer ring no vibrate, pocket -vibrate only, night -lights n beep only etc). Cld customise for msgs too. But I guess no one really needs all this, maybe I was just being anal. :P Also, the alarm doesn't seem to recall the set time. Every time I disable the alarm, I wld need to set the time in again the next time I enable it. No biggie, but it seemed abit strange to me. When I come to the end of a long msg, I can't seem to scroll to the beginning by clicking at the end, so I have to click all the way up to the beginning. It has no "run through" for text msgs, I think. Maybe this is common in other phones too. My ancient nokia also had voice activation for radio - I am not sure, but this one doesn't seem to hv it. Again, no biggie. Pls also note that caller picture ID does not appear on front cover, only on inside screen (no complaints from me - my old nokia phone did not support MMS, colour nor any photo ID. Haha!) Indeed, this is my first samsung ever, so it just takes getting used too. Overall a good, reasonably-priced phone, with superb (basic) functionality. Not to mention the finishing of the phone is absolutely exquisite, n it looks very sleek!

finally i bought this fone today! only what i can say its awsome.music iss exelent and camera is perfect.im in love with this fone.just amazing!!! its so simple and stylish.this is my 4th fone and its the best!im still playing with it but batter is not low!!!so cool.now i have to buy memory card.i made a 4 phonecalls and i hear very good and my mother hear me good too so its awsome.

yea da phto quality is great, and unlike VGA cameras it doesnt blur when it move it it a great camera! and does anyone know how to listen to music while using other applications

cud ne1 tell me how to get the photo caller id activated??.. it says that the photo wud appear on the external screen wen the respective person calls.. but its only displayed on the internal screen n not on the external one!! i hv tried attaching photos to my contacts.. but its not happening this way!! plz help!

I've had this phone for a month now. It looks great, very slim & compact. Im recharging it either every 2nd day if used fully, or every 4th day if phone is idle. I cant play any videos, but mp3 audio is OK with a MicroSD memory card installed. It interferes alot with car radios. As mentioned by someone else earlier, i cannot customise my text message alarm, but can change calling and wake-up alarm, though they can only be played for 30 seconds max only. Would be good if they could be played longer, like on my earlier Motorola. Other than that, I say it is a great mid-range phone without complicated features. OK about it!

Great phone, does most things. Fantastic camera! only thing, you can only choose from 4 or 5 tones for the txt messaging, like you can't install your own. But you can install your own ringtones for when someone calls you. And also, when you go to listen to the FM radio, to play the radio through the speaker you have to have the earphones plugged in. Weird I know...

I am thinking about buying this phone however can anyone who owns this phone tell me about the battery life of this phone?, the battery life on these slim phones always seem to be there down fall. I am not a heavy user but would be interested in any feed back on how often it needs to be charged with a comment on how often you use it ?, as i dont want to buy this phone if it has to be re charged every second or third day with only minimal useage.
