Dear Friends, I am able to connect this handset to my laptop, easily gets recognised, but whenever I try to connect to the internet through GPRS, it does not retrieve the connection settings automatically. And whenever I try to enter it manually it appears to be dial-up one. What do I do? How do I access the internet on my laptop through this handset. That's not true. You can store 500 sms to your phone & 20-25 sms to your sim (depending on the capacity of the sim). Been using this phone for about 6 months; its a one of a kind handset. Sound of the external speakers is just "Awesomely LOUD" (You can hear it ring, even in the noisiest surroundings). Wireless FM is quite well. Even the vga camera clicks nice pics of 640x480 resolution. It short- NICE PHONE.

E2130 is a small low price phone that have all necessary function (music camera GPRS blue tooth & memory card), other companies products in same price range have not all same function at the same price the voice quality of many phones (even with two or three times more price is not better than e2130, many companies kill voice quality over music playback quality) but at least this phone have loud voice. also have goos speaker, very loud ring tone (comparable too over two hundred phone ring volume) I dont know what is other users problem with this phone, but I never buy this product because of its limited display resolution & display size, also I don't like typing with this phone keypad, I don't know why some users like connect a phone with this price to PC? this is not a OS embedded phone this is a ultimate low price product, for video & music transmission you can use blue tooth at low speed or flash memory RAM reader at high speed. this phone have problem with memory card, if you have hang up problems release memory card from the phone and, save important memory card data & format it by a FLASH Memory ram reader (that can support micro SDHC) in fat mode, then insert it to phone.

Did you add the correct no? I 've a few nos in the call reject list, nvr gets a call from them, once you add a no to call reject, the blocked no 'll get that you 're no's busy everytime they dial u (after the 1st ring) you can see the missed calls u got from the blocked nos anyhow Goto 'Settings - Application - Calls - All calls - Auto reject - Reject list - Options - Select - (Choose the no that you wanna unblock, click the centre button to uncheck) Or you can delete\edit that no from the list Options - Edit\Delete - Save'

if e2130's available, you should get e1390 also in your country. I don't know about LG phone. But Samsung e1390 n e2130 've calling barring feature. check with the users of lg gx200, if that 've calling blocking feature. if n't go with e1390 or e2130 or e2370.

No e.is it better than Nokia 2690? if you do head to head comparison 2690 has 3.5mm audio jack, 2370 don't 2370 has dual speakers, 2690 has mediocre single speaker 2690 supports 8 GB micro sd, 2370 supports only 2 GB so, if you want loud music & fm both in earphone n speaker you should go for samsung. you can get local inear earphone for samsung for Rs.100. But you won't get proper fm reception in those headphones as it's connected to 3.5mm adapter. But, no problem again, you can use the orginal earphone that comes with handset to hear fm n the inear earphone for mp3 music. i use the local earphone for music. it's loudest & crispy, you can't hear wat's happening around you.

I highly recommended E2130, this phone really surprise me: + positive: - have low price but do anything (memory card, bleutooth v2.0, camera, music & ...) - very small, thin, and low weight - have powerful 1000 Mah battery, really a phone like E2130 need half of this power, this make increase talk time, music playback - powerful dual speaker on back of phone for listening music, very idle device for outdoor music playback (that combined with powerful battery) - very loud ring volume that comparable to over 200$ business phone - very clear & simple GUI & menu - big numbers & menu text that easily readable for old peoples - negative: keyboard is not sensitive and quality need extra pressure for working, I dont recommended this phone for pepoles that like send sms, but this keypad idle for work and really not need keypad locker. comparison GUI & interface to nokia: in comparison to nokia have dynamic beautiful menu & GUI but samsung have statical simple & clear menu idle for old peoples this phone is really crazy & high performance device, I never like companies like samsung that introduce everything but this device really surprise me and need a lot of regards.

We have a worst phone. It never automatically update the time from network. We should set the time. opera works only when the time is updated.

Videos did'nt play even in mp4 or 3gp format. even there is no inbuilt player, I couldn't download any players from net.(phone didn't support the java supported mp3 and video players that downloaded from net). Hello guru, When I had Samsung E1410 it used to connect to PC via data cable APCBS10UBE. Now when I connect Samsung E2130 via the same cable to my PC then cell only charges. I have downloaded the latest PC Studio from samsung website and have tried connecting in both mass storage and PC studio mode but in either case the cell isn't detected by my PC (though E1410 works fine). Hence is there some prob with the cell or should I use a different data cable if yes tell me its number?

Dear User, If you want to install an application which is larger than 350kb as youu mentioned; i suggest you to enter the following code and then follow the steps as described. I am sure your problem would be solved. CODE IS = *#52828378# The menu will be displayed. Then go to OTA Test and enter the file size in max JAR size field. Your application will surely run.. Enjoy Urself. But remember if you switch off your mobile phone the JAVA Memory size would reset to the default size, that is 300kb. you have to enter the code again for installing application.

This has good battery . My only grouse is internal memory is 7MB so if you have java file of a few MB's (like I have oxford dictionary of 4.7MB) then it says jar file size limit exceeded. Even after plugging in 2GB memory card , no help since the application has to fit in internal memory.

i would say not a gr8 mobile at all.. the added features than a basic set that this mobile possesses is of no use. 1.messaging is quite easy but it at times doesnt display d name of the person who has messaged even though the name is saved in our contacts 2.the music is gud whn heard wit headsets on.. else it sounds too jarring. 2120 & 2130 are like brothers. Most of the qualities are same with some little difference. Screen is a little big in 2130. 2130 Have Dual Stereo speakers, 2130 have mono speaker. Sound quality of loudspeakers in 2130 is little more good then 2120. Looks of 2130 is better, i can say. It feels more solid then 2120. Its really a sturdy and strong handset. Easily handles slips and drops. I Recommend 2130. GOODLUCK

In any mobile shop in the world, mobile shopkeeper try to clear the stock. So if a shopkeeper have hundred C3010 & ten 2130, they definitely he try to sell more of C3010. 2130 is about 75th mobile after launching of C3010. So you can say that C3010 is a bit old. But in terms of music & battery 2130 wins. FM reception and playback in background is just great. Dual Stereo loudspeakers are really loud and crisp. It can record and playback the FM recorded songs. But quality of recorded songs is a little downgraded (but acceptable). Its like sound we hear while talking on mobile, from other side. Better try to listen a recorded song from someone else 2130. This will tell you whether recorded song quality is acceptable to you or not. Listening Mp3 Songs On Headphones Or Loudspeaker Is A Treat. Dual Stereo Speakers deliver quality Mp3 Sound (Just use Mp3 files with 128 or more bitrate). Battery is good. It can give you at least 9 hours of talktime. No tension about battery! Go For 2130! You Will Not Regret That!

2130 Shows Sender Name In SMS & All Call History With The Names Of Callers. I Used This Phone For Over 4 Months. I Saw No Problem At All. One Thing I Noticed Is That, When Sometimes I Scroll In Inbox, For Example Going From 1st Message To 35th, It Doesn't Show Name From 7th 8th Message To 35th. But Instead It Shows Number. If I Scroll in Inbox Slowly, It Shows every Name Of Sender. That's The Same Case In Call History Too. When I Open Call History Sometimes(1 Out Of 10 Times) I See Number Which Turn Into Name Within A Second. So It's All About Speed. What I Can Suggest You To Get Rid Of This Problem Is That, Keep Internal Memory As Much Free AS You Can. Do Not Keep Ringtones, Pics, Etc. In Internal memory. Copy Them To Memory card & Delete From Phone memory. GOODLUCK!

no tension just keep its internal memory as much free as u can... do not put lots of wallpapers,camera photos, ringtones or songs, videos etc. in internal memory. Use memory card instead. i have 1GB card fully loaded & still 2130 Rocks!

Use SAMSUNG PC STUDIO (Get this from samsungmobile.com, Search 2130, Go to softwares Menu and Download It) for connecting it to PC. iam using this phone for a month. it costs rs 2800 in mobile store calicut.kerala. it has no 3.5mm audio jack,but samsungs regular jack.its ear phone gives outstanding sound for basic phone. its loud speaker sounds louder than nokia n95 but less than n73. its music player cannot be minimised. it supports mp4 and 3gp. not allvideos supported but 3gp and mp4 having 176*144 resolution and lower resolution are supported. it has torch function,screen lights very brighter in torch function. it got all for a basic phones,and outstandingly better than poor quality nokia's

I have marked the "UNKNOWN" option in Auto reject lists in Samsung E2130, but still I am getting the phone calls from the unknown numbers. Mine E2130 is not rejecting the phone calls from the Unknown numbers. If I want to reject any number then I have to mark that particular number for Auto rejection, then only its working.

2130 is better than 2120 in many aspects. -2120 having 1.5 inch display,2130 having 1.8 inch display -2130 having dual speakers. -both having wireless fm -only 750 rupees price difference. Go for 2130 my brother is a happy user of 2130. And again Don't prefer cheap nokia phones. Comparing to samsung basic phones nokia basic phons are very poor in quality and reliablity. You know nokia,motorola,sony ericsson are facing serius financial crisis But it is not affected for samsung,blackberry ,apple,htc and lg(cdma )

Later when i open the inbox,its just displaying the phone number of contact person . Even i saw the problem in received /missed call list. All my contacts are in Sim memory . Yes, the cable works perfectly fine for syncing contacts and user data. I was a bit skeptical at the time of buying the cable, but I was relieved to find it working perfectly. You can also transfer data directly to the memory card / phone memory using the cable. Hasslefree and no issues at all!

But i believe you can save more than 200 songs in a 2GB mc Even though we can store 200 songs even on 1GB card, I heard that, on 1410 u have to put the songs in playlists in order to play them. And with limitation of 120 songs(30*4), I would imagine it quite uncomfortable using it for regular music listening. Also, not being able to minimize the music player is really hard to accept. I dont think its quite a high end feature to ask for in this phone :)

I got this phone for Rs 3,150 and it rocks! Excellent battery life I must say—I haven't charged the phone ever since I installed the battery from the box. It's as good as the Samsung E1410. Stereo FM radio with built-in antenna and a gimmicky vga camera. You can set the memory card as the default location for SMS, Bluetooth received files, camera, videos, voice recording and FM recording. Brilliant! One of the very few samsung handsets with the 'space' key on the zero button (else it's on the # button). The only quirk I found in this handset is you cannot create your own folders in the Messages folder :(Else it's a great phone). Thumbs up to Samsung for bringing out this one! I'd like to see a higher resolution screen and some more useful features in the upcoming models.

No, it can't play 3gp format! I 've tested it myself thrice! But who would watch video in a 128x160 screen! this is best basic music fone! that's it ... vga cam is a added gimmick that's it! we 're payin Rs.500 more than e1410 cuz this fone has a cam & other added features that wasn't in 1410! The display n look of this fone is good than e1410! it has radio auto off feature which works like sleep time in televisions! you can set time! the radio 'll automatically off! time ranges from 30m to 2 hrs! I think this feature wasn't available on e1410. Some additionally features are also included in this fone! purely an upgrade version of e1410! perfect budget fone for music lovers ...

it can't play 3g video file, cam recording the video in mp4 format! it's n't a mp cam fone, so no need to care about screen resolution & frame rate. i hope it can play mp4 videos, didn't test it though.

that you 've check it on your own! I don't 've a DC, so can't confirm the data cable compatability! take the DC with you to the shop n check it yourself! I use card reader & mc adaptor to copy datas to memory card! i 've no biz with sync! & also this is my 1st samsung mobi!

sms, font is normal! not small. No CD & DC with the kid! Download pc suite from samsung website, Buy a bluetooth dongle, So, you can sync n transfer the contacts to mobi frm pc using blue tooth dongle ...

bro i think it wud definately hav fast forwarding or rewind function.... hav u tried press n hold navigation keys. press n hold right navigation key to ffw and press and hold left navigation key for rewind. check it out if it works.

No, it has no fast forwarding feature! just, you can play, pause, stop a song, can go previous song & next song in the playlist. & go back to previous menu.

No, i 've checked both aac & eaac+ (m4a). It can't play both the compressed formats! obviously it plays mp3.

You phone could be faulty! Mine takes just 100 minutes or approx max 2 hrs for full recharge! I don't face any other major issues! the phone is good to use!

It has bluetooth, gprs, The kid has no memory card! you 've to buy one seperately The fonts looks little scrabbled, you can't set your tone for sms! Yes it's missing in this mobile! If you doesn't care about the above flaws! then it's a perfect budget mobile of all the time! I give 8\10 I always ready to answer any questions abt this mobile ... ciao
