I bought this phone a few yrs back, but it had signal issues. At sporadic times the phone will show full signal deteection, but when people phone me it would say that I'm unavailable. The phone wont even ring. Nobody could fix this for me since it didn;t happen all the time. Does anybody have the same experience?

I love this phone. I've had for 4 or 5 years and it's still working great. It has had cola spilled on, been dropped outside and other places a number of times, it's been threw once or twice and it has been in the washing machine and it still works. I'm getting a new phone soon but i doubt it will be as good as this one. I will keep it as a backup when something goes wrong with the new one.

I've had this phone for nearly 3 and have now moved on to a new one (my mum has my Samsung now). It's not the kind of phone you'd want to have for too long. Yes, it does the job if all you want is a phone for just texting and occasional calls, but there are a few downfalls which make the phone not enjoyable. One of the worst downfalls is the camera button on the side of the phone. It is because of this that the Samsung E530 takes photos (or videos, depending on what it is set to at the time) in your pocket or even in your bag. Not only is this annoying, it takes up precious space, considering there is barely over 100mb of space (which is another disappointment). Secondly is the outdated 1mp camera. At the time I got this phone, I didn't really care what the camera was like, whether it was high in megapixels or was the worst camera ever. I just wanted a phone. But once I stated taking photos, I discovered a 1mp camera doesn't cut it. The photos are of decent resolution but the result you'll get is a blurry, pixelated photo. This is the as the video recorder. It is very sensitive to light--you'll find out that photos and movies taken of someone in a spotlight will be nothing but a streak of white light. Lastly is the lack of dictionary. I tend to send sms's with words from different languages and abbreviations, so I was disappointed when I realised I couldn't save them to the dictionary (because there was none). Instead, I had to save them as templates which was a pain and most definitely annoying to insert. Despite the cons I have described, there are a few pros which I have been pleased with. Sleek design. It's very cute on the outside (although I never liked the pink colour) and has good sized buttons suitable for those with slightly bigger fingers. "Women's Life" application. I loved having the option of keeping track of my period on my phone, rather than using a calendar. Not to mention it gives you a fair idea of when you could be ovulating, which can prevent you from an unwanted pregnancy. This is my most missed extra. "Bobby Carrot" Java game. It may not be the best game on a phone but it does help pass the time. Overall, this is okay for a temporary phone. I would highly recommend this to parents who are looking for something for their 12-14 year old daughters.

The reception is horrifying! the design is pk in my opinion. and the phone dies within 2 days, I have to carry my charger practically everywhere with me in case it dies on me. Well I've had mine for about 2 1/2yrs now and i think i'm ready to move on to another samsung model. I keep it in it's protective cover and rarely drop it yet the blue light on the outside is only half showing. Also the camera takes pics on its own when in my bag. I'm finding the pink colour to be a bit babyish and want a change.

I had this phone about 3 years ago and I still haven't found a phone that tops it. The camera was very decent on it, it had a good flash. All the apps were great on it, it was really easy to use, it looked great and felt nice in the hand, had loads of membory... need I go on? This phone kicked ass. If samsung put a better camera in this phone now I'd probably buy it again now. In fact I might just get on ebay and get another one.

I have had this phone for about 2 and a half years now, its still going strong although very stratched. I have the same problem as many others, constantly taking pictures and videos in my pocket which wears down the battery. Very annoying. Other than that, I love this phone and plan to keep it for another year =) Fits very well into the palm of your hand and is a good looking phone. This phone is a great work horse, unkillable and sexy looking, but it has issues. Constantly takes photos and video in your bag, microphone is scratchy and is really hard to hear people especially in slightly noisy places, ringtone is too soft, and service if a little out of town is bad, my family have nokias and are with the same provider and have loads better service than I do. I have had it for 2and half years though and battery is still great and it still works like new, first phone I ever had that lasted the contract term. Great workhorse, just a few issues....

I have been using this phone for almost a week now. It works fine, can any one tell me that weather can I change its body? I want a different color. Another thing I noticed is that after connecting it to my pc with bluetooth, the file transfer program said that I can only transfer files from the hand set to the pc but not the opposite, as the set does not support a memory card. I like the colour & shape of this phone and that is about it: it takes random photos in my pocket/bag, the ringtone is too quiet - and that is when it ever picks up a call(loads of people think I am ignoring them when my phone constantly goes to message)and when I do speak to people it either cuts off or the quality is too bad to have a conversation (my husband is on the same network and doesn't have a problem) Photo quality isn't great either. Have just ordered a new phone and can't wait!

I've had this phone for almost two years now, and it has served me well. It has all the basic functions (messaging, music player, camera...), all of which work adequately well. The design is really sweet too - big screen, easy-to-use keypad, and attractive glossy finish that is fairly scratch-resistant (I have the purple version, with a metallic body). I actually wouldn't mind using it for another two years, provided of course it continues working fine, which I actually do think it will.

I carry my phone in my phone whenever I m outside cos the ringtoneis not audible when kept in my bag. So whenever I hear the message alert, before the alert is finish, should I flip open my phone, the message is lost. i had to shut down the phhone and on it back again,then the message appears again. This phone sucks. It always cut off the line due to weak reception. It also often auto power off then power on again. Very annoying. Ringtone is not audible when keep in sling handbag. I always get a lot of miss calls due to that so I have to carry it on my hand when I go out.

I've had this phone for about 1 & a half years now, i will simply state the ups and downs of it: Ups - Nomatter how many times it has fallen, thrown, flew in the air n dropped, it has worked fine after. -didnt have any problems like screen blacking out or any such. -good phone, reliable. DOWNS -minor but not big problems!! -keys freeze when texting sometimes. -no loudspeaker -cant text or anything whilst listening to music, cant hold much music -battery runs out very fast when continuously speaking on the phone. -camera starts while in pockets etc. -toolbars that make the screen look small and it gets annoying.

this phone is good but its true about the camera button - its really annoying when it starts taking photos in your bag or pocket. the memory also doesnt hold many songs but apart from that its a good reliable phone, worth buying i would say.

although i have no complaints about the design of this phone i think that the camera button is badly positioned as accidental snapshots are taken of the inside of pockets at regular intervals as there is no locking device to prevent this. also if you are looking for a decent screen you may find that although the screen size appears good the screen is limited to half by info/tool bars to top and bottom. i have also found that this model of phone switches off for no apparant reason and this can happen at most inconvenient times ie mid conversation. this maybe down to the phone or the service provider ......not sure. all told ......really looking forward to upgrade.

Just letting you guys that have just bought this phone, when you are typing a message, you cant seem to get all the digits like the ' and " buttons. Well when you type a message and want to insert these characters, hold down the # key and all the characters come up.

About the stupid question (no offence) about "not being able to save numbers to sim".. DAH! Of course you can save them to sim after typing the number the phone asks you where you want to save them whether to phone or to sim.. Are you blind?! Don't bother. Is the smartest looking phone I have ever had. Was in love with it but the battery life is useless and you loose reception as a result. I have found all Samsung phones (have got an e370 now) have really bad sound quality and you cannot hear anyone.

got this phone as a xmas gift... it's actually great.. don't look for a USB cable 'coz it's sold separately.. just buy a bluetooth dangle.. this phone is easy to use.. got lots of things in it.. transfering of file from mobile phone to pc is a lot faster than any other phones... highly recomended by yours truely...

Thing is I think it's an awesome phone and the memory, video and camera is great. The only problem is that I have really bad signal problems. I'm always getting kicked out of mxit and whenever I try downloading stuff it fails. My GPRS and everything is perfect it's just the phone that struggles with that stuff as well as signal. Is there anyway to fix this? Oh and sometimes my phone doesn't ring it goes straight to voicemail even if I don't divert calls. It's on it's own mission LOL

im thinking about getting this phone. my cuzen had it then switched to the lg chocolate and said she would give it to me,, and i have actually been thiking about getting a new phone. i dont know if this is the right one though.. the only thing i would regret not having on the phone is the expandable memory. there is the samsung e570 that i am also thinking about getting. which one should i get?? i like the lookz of the e530 but the functions on the e570. please help!!!!! =(

for CARMEN. regarding your phone, you can get a bluetooth dongle, for a usb port, there realy good, you can use them for any bluetooth device you dont have to have one for each device, they all connect to the same, you can either get them from phone shops for �20 or one from ebay for about �6 (inc p&p), i did and its the best , you just load the disk to set it up then use it as you would connecting to another phone, they are realy easy i promise. enjoy.

Great audio but one thing i noticed, the images produced are not that sharp unlike N7610's 1megapixel cam. samples are at www.picturetrail.com/shinaide ...this is my 1st time to use a samsung phone and i have no problem with it. but one thing that annoys me is the internet button at the center, which i always mistake for the menu button. I got this the day it was released. Ive moved on to the nokia n73 now. the camera on this isnt bad.in fact all my mates have been impressed by the results... photos taken on nights out, etc. the flash is blinding. everyone and their granny seems to own the e530 now. commonness is the downfall

Tips for putting more songs onto your phone: 1.get itunes and convert the songs to AAC,they are much smaller 2.Download Diet Mp3.This is an mp3 compressing software. The trial lets you compress 15 songs I used both methods and I've got about 30 songs on my phone with about 5mb of memory still left and I have videos and pics and everything!

i bort this phone last october and since have had the constant problem of when i recieve text messages or phone calls it cuts out and re-starts itself, i have taken it back to be told there is a problem with the software and it will have to be sent back to be looked at without the guarantee that all of my pictures etc will still be on there when it is sent back so ive kept hold of it and suffered! nice looking phone but this problem has made me dislike it in general and wouldnt recomend it.

I purchased this phone after having bought the siemens poppy phone (which I didn't like, although I guess you get what you pay for) and am very pleased with it. Thus far I have had no problems at all, I find it very user-friendly, nice tactile number pad, crisp screen, audio sound is good and no problems with the signal. Only annoyance is that I have to open the phone to see I've had a missed call. Transference of data (photos, music etc) to PC (& vice versa) with a bluetooth dongle is straightforward and I was pleasantly surprised by video camera quality. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a compact phone, with reasonable camera and mp3 quality that is value for money.

Mary Grace, help!! I still can't get the thing to work. I've re-installed it and manage to get a music file (definitely .mp3) into the 'my devices' section and each time I try to select a song it says 'receiving 00%' then waits and bit then disconnects. Nothing goes into my music file at all. Is it a dodgy dongle or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for replying to my previous message.

I received the E530 free with my 3 yr renewal of the Int' Hearld Tribune newspaper in Thailand. Great design. Still trying to figure out how to use the Blue Tooth function to download more pics and sounds. Sound quality of calls leaves a bit to be desired. Others talking to me sound like they are in a very small room with a slight echo effect so need to be in a very quiet environment when talking. Not sure if this a tech problem. The function keys take some getting used to as it is easy to straddle 2 keys and make a mistake. Recommended less the sound qulaity issue.

Tezza, as I have read in your previous post and I hope I understand correctly that you have indeed managed to download one song into the phone's memory, right? If that is the case, to check if the phone did indeed received the music file (mainly files w/ .mp3 extensions) pls go to the (1)Menu (2)File Manager (3)Music. The song you have downloaded should go there and no where else. If it shows "Empty" it could only mean two things (1) the music file is not a recognized file format (2) the bluetooth dongle you purchased has not been completely installed into your pc and therefore try to re-install it again and use only 1 usb port for the bluetooth dongle (try to remember which usb port you installed it in and use that particular port forever). If all else fails and you still can't download songs to your phone, have the dongle checked at the store you purchased it from because it really might be defective. I hope it's still under warranty or something. Let me know if you still have problems. Good luck!

I've had my E530 for around 8 months now. It's very reliable and I have had no problems with it at all. The call clarity is excellent and the battery life is better than any other phone I have come across. I love the fact that it is unusual and is far more eye-catching than the continuous monotony of black and silver. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a reliable phone that is more interesting than the run-of-the-mill!

well,i had bought this phone for nearly a year. the keypad started not functioning well,my phone will shut off automatically when someone called and it continous "hang" for 5 times when i was typing a message.although e530 is very feminine and it produce very good sound,but it is not a very good phone as there is no memory slot which resulted i cant store much information in my phone and when viewing or deleting a picture, i need to wait very long for it to process.my advice for those who are interested in buying e530 is think twice before buying it or you will regret.

I've managed to pair the bluetooth and the mobile - i've even managed to get a song downloaded onto the bluetooth area on my phone. but then i'm stuck. if i select the song it starts up with a bar that says receiving 00% and then after a few seconds it disconnects me from bluetooth. what am I doing wrong? how do i get the song from the bluetooth device into my mp3 player? sorry to be so dense...

Hi Tezza! regarding ur MP3 question...I also have this phone and I think it's really great and I hope this post of mine might help since you're dealing w/ bluetooth transfers. Well, I discovered that it's easier to transfer photos and MP3s when my pc initiates the bluetooth device pairing. So here are the steps: 1. Your OS is windows XP and turn on/start your bluetooth device. 2.double click the bluetooth icon on ur system tray OR go to My Bluetooth Places. 3. On the left side of the screen there's a section there that says "Bluetooth Tasks". 4. Click on View Devices In Range. Your pc should be searching for devices and that your mobile should appear in the window. 5. Right click on your mobile's bluetooth name and select "Pair Device". 6. A Bluetooth Pin Code Request window will pop up and type on the space provided your bluetooth pin code which is found in your bluetooth manual if not, try this no: 1234 and click ok. 7. The same request will appear on your mobile phone and enter the same pin code that you used earlier. 8. When your pc & mobile has been successfully paired, you can now send and receive photos and music to your phone and vice versa. 9. When you're done, go back to My Bluetooth places, right click the device and select "Unpair Device" 10. Stop/turn off the pc bluetooth device in your system tray. Good luck and hope this really helps. Let me know if you have further questions. It doesn't work though if my phone initiates the pairing and when pairing to other mobile devices, you have to delete them from your device lists because they won't pair again the next time.

Hiya all. LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone. The camera is not fantastic, 1 MP really isn't that great (but i haven't try taking pics with the flash on yet) but this phone is just so beautifully designed in terms of physical design and menu/OS/screen. You won't regret it! It has great reception and sound (for MP3s and ringtones). anyway, wanted to post bc read some ppl had issues with installing the drivers for USB related functions. the samsung software has a lot of room for improvement. but it does work. go to www.samsung.com and then the relevant webpage for your country/region. click on SUPPORT. select your phone model. download and install ALL the software available. you will get a warning message from windows saying that the software hasn't been tested for windows or something along that line. i haven't had problems so far so i guess it's install at your own peril. i found after installing it still didn't work. don't uninstall. restart your computer. then plug in the the USB cord with the phone on. windows will keep finding new hardware. keep selecting, "i will choose the driver to install myself" - windows comes up with the driver anyway, and so keep clicking on install, despite all the warning messages. after windows stops finding new hardware, start file manager or image editor (which you would have downloaded and installed from the samsung website along with the drivers). you will find that you can download all your photos and manage your phone book/sms/etc. phew, that's it! hope it's readable!

This phone is the best and the most beautiful thing ever. While speaking I hear better than ever now and I am heard better than ever. It has everything I need and even more. The camera is really great, the sound of the mp3 player is just the best (when I use my headset it sounds much better than my real mp3 player, the phone is like I have a surround system in my ears with wuffer and stuff). I have put more than 30 games on the phone now and there is still so much place for more! And the woman's life apps.. Wow! The calculator and the other apss are the best too, so easy to use with the special keys on the screen and so beautiful.. I am really in love with this phone. P.S. I saw some people complaining about something and I'd like to say - it's not the phone itself, it's the place you bought it from or it's your mobile operator (somebody said he couldn't hear a thing for example). And yes, I can listen to the mp3 player while the phone is closed and yes, I have woman's apps, don't complain about it here (and it is said "- Women�s Life apps (in some firmware versions" anyway)).

i have had my phone for over one year now, and to be honest i couldnt ask for more and thats alot coming from a teenager! although this phone appears to be tiny, there is on incredible amount of "button room" un-like some other phones where u have to type with ur finger nails.The screen it large compared to most flip phones and the colour and photo are excillent.I upload my photos to the computer and there just as good quality as a digi cam.The camera is also to way, you can use the camera closed and view yourself on the screen (very good as mirror hehe). This phone has ultimate style all around from the case to menu. Mine is still in excillent condition and i tell you now its had a fair bashing around.

You can listen to music with the phone closed . Instead of opening the music file and pressing play like that you have to play it through the mp3 player and then u can shut the phone and it still plays. Yeh I thought that between a camera of 1mp and 1.3mp there would barely be a difference especially considering this phone has a flash. But there is a significant difference. The camera isnt as clear as a 6230i but the sound quality on the mp3 is a bit better. This phone compared to other phones on the market at this same price isn't worthy. It's all about the style otherwise it's a waste. But haha in saying that i have this phone now and i love the pink!

Yes, this phone does have bluetooth so you can send and recieve things from other people. You need to let your phone be visaable first by going into phone settings i think it is under bluetooth

Ive had mine for about 7 months now and its still the best phone ive ever had. Of course, like every other phone, you cant have everything exactly like you want. Like, i wish that the display would stay on, i wish the phone clicked shut rather than just bang shut, also wish that you could change covers.

I don't think you can practically, because the sound recorder is very very low volume. You ca't really hear nothing. I found this to be the biggest problem with the phone. This, and the fact that I can't put new games by bluetooth. They can be only put in through wap :(

To Inkyskin If you read that post about the secret button and it had no name from the poster, it was me. I was so happy that i had found that button!!! To Iomas When the phone is being charged, it should always have the red light showing. If there isnt any light at all, its probably a faulty charger and the power isnt running through the wires. Take the battery out of the phone and put it in again then see if it works. If it shows the orange light, then the battery is in wrong.

I bought this phone recently for my sister, and the charger was defective so I bought a new one of eBay. It is non-official travel charger but it seems to work as in the sense the battery always goes to full when plugged in for a while. However on the phone there is no indication that the phone is actually plugged into the charger. Is this common with this phone or is it the charger??

ive had this phone since the 14th March and i love it its one of the best phones ive had. I got the d500 but i found it didnt suit my taste due to the slide so i didnt even try out the d600. then my friend got this one and i loved it i orderd it and i have had no problems the only one i have to say is the vibrate is loud but i always have it on vibrate i find it easier than a ringtone. i HIGHLY reccomened it and its really usefull with the convetor fragrence and fat ratio!

I have an e530 and what you need to de is buy a Bluetooth dongle. They look like USB�s, you hook that up to your computer and then click on the wee Bluetooth icon in the menu bar then tell it to search for Bluetooth devices. You will need to give your phone a name then the computer searches for it (it may pick up other Bluetooth devices which is why you need to give your phone a name). Once its all set up you can send files to and from your phone. They cost about �30. Hope that helps

Answer to question about finding ringtones: Menu,Settings,Sound settings, Incoming call, then press little red check mark in the middle - press the button in the middle (the one with i/OK in the middle) then go to Default sounds and there you'll find 20 ringtones. Hope it works:-)

Its the worst mobile in terms of signal!!! I get annoyed every minute! I cant talk in my house, i cant talk at work...As i have seen other comments. And sometimes i cant get the "service list"(whatever that might be?!)for other devices when i want to connect via bluetooth. I cant even send stuff to my pc either, although i can do it the other way around,with bluetooth. Otherwise, the phone its quite pretty, but thats all. Disappointing!

well chuffed when upgraded to this phone until 2nd week its a totally rubbish phone. it has taken 6 months of arguing and bringing in tradin standards to get replced by o2.basically on doin a data suppiort check after being repaired 3 times it had proven wrong and faulty software, beware esp as o2 now have withdrawn it

i helped? after that i had a headache ;) i got mine from a cell shop its way easy i was getting a headache from trying to understand some people's comments on how 2 use pc studio but i dont have to just popped the installation cd in and worked it out from there some may argue that the studio thing is easier but not 4 me my 10 yr old niece can even use it now all i want is this cool video clip suppose nobody can tell me where 2 find smarty and jellytot or the gummy bears i find it funny

hey raz if u just hold down the # key then it will put your phone on silent, just make sure that ur fone is set so that it isn't on "any key answer", which is in the call setting! Hope it's helped!

Hi guys... Had phone for 5 mnths now and have fewbeefs with it: 1. Sound on record mode is very very low 2. Can only get signal in certain areas, can't get signal to call from my house (not sure if that's because am on T Mobile! 3. Adding words to dictionary - find it does not add words that you want to and have to put words in myself (very annoying) 4. This fone's my baby... luv it to bits... been using it for abt 9 months now and its off da hook... lilhelpplz - To change to 3gp, u need to go to record video mode, then select the folder like icon to the left of the screen, then select SETTINGS, then change the RECORDING MODE from NORMAL to LIMIT FOR MESSAGE, then save and tha should change the format to 3gp. Hope that helps:-)

Yes I think that you should get the blue one because you are right, everyone does seem to have the pink one. I am gettin this phone for my birthday and I am gettin it in blue because I think blue is so much nicer! When I heard there was one in pink, I was so happy but the colour isn't pink!! It's burgundy!! i have only had this fone for a week and a half. So far, so good. Like any phone it has its pros and cons. I have no idea how to put mp3's onto the phone. Any help with that would be much appreciated. I have just came across something and was wondering if anyone else has. I have put the external screen indicator as 'on' so it shows me the time all the time. But i went to get it out of my bag and it was not on, i had to open the handset to resume it. Received this dinky phone for my birthday. I think it is fab. BUT can anyone tell me should the analogue clock stay on when the phone is closed. Had this phone for a while. Battery life is awful! It is hard to customise things - inflexible. Can have mp3 ring tones :) I suspect it is a fault with mine, it keeps dropping out of reception, even when there is full coverage, and I have to turn the phone off+on to get it back - only that 10mins later it has no reception again :( Otherwise it is a nice little phone. Love its bluetooth!!!!

ive had this phone since December. ive had no probs wiv it until recently. When some one tries to ring me the first couple of rings are very quiet then all of a sudden it gets louder! Well, I fell in love with this phone when I bought it, but have become very dispondant with its faults. The biggest issue that you sound like you are talking down a tunnel, and everyone complains they cant hear you. The signal quality is shocking. The battery life is bad too.

To Aussie, to use the camera on the external screen, just have the phone closed then hold the grey button on the right side of the phone. The camera should come up and you will see yourself. Just to let you guys know, i found out where the ' button is. When you create a text message, just hold the # button down and a list of all the characters comes up including the ' button. Im so glad that i found that button!!

i read somebody elses opinion and it says that the wallpaper on the external lcd really wont stay on for long for batt saving purposes as told by samsung.. it is not a speakerphone.. you can download wallpaper, ringtones and games at samsung's website.. you can use the mp3 player while your fone is closed but not when you go out to use other features like when you have to text..the sound is great.. user friendly like nokia(once had a sonyerickson and nokia fone..samsung is like nokia..i find sonyerickson's menus difficult for a new user).. a little bulky but is ok..looks great.. nice lcd colors..can't quite read the lcd under the sun though.. can send long messages..can send to many recipients or to a group.. can't use downloaded music for text alert.. the colors you see in pics is what you'll get..but i think some countries dont have certain unit colors available.. other symbols can be found by pressing # key long enough for the choices to appear,you chose by pressing the number that corresponds to it..no fancy fonts like those of nokia..big font size if your a former nokia user.. you can have the flash on only when taking a pic or have it on always even while just focusing or even not use it at all..can even zoom and adjust brightness of the pic beofre taking the shot..can take pics even when the unit is closed..can use external lcd for that matter..can't turn clicking pic off though but have options to chose from.. cant use vibrations and hear the tone at the same time..uuuuhhhh..very unlike nokia.. and it has no themes..only options for skins..cant download additional skins also.. have troubles using the bluetooth..worked for mp3s but unable to use it for images.. can make folders (like nokia 6600) to sort your messages out still need to press options when entering numbers before sending a text..unlike nokia wherein you click and chose numbers..in samsung you go to options, click address book before chosing numbers.. i still need to spend time on this phone to know other pros and con..for now,quite content in using the phone for taking some pics when i dont have my cam at hand, for texting and calling..

After reading the specs and the reviews on here my mind is made up - definately getting this phone!!!! Until recently I had a Motorola V525 - lasted a good 18 months but when it died it died - problem with Motorola phones is you can't get into the internal board to get the information thats stored. You can change the clock on the front go to settings ans display settings then it should have an external display, you can change it to whatever you want-your own pics even.

Im from Australia and my phone doesnt have the woman's functions either. I emailed Samsung and they said its because of the software you have which is also due to which country you are in. You can take your phone to your closest Samsung factory or shop and they can upgrade the software for you so that you will be able to have the woman's functions

to download mp3 u should use bluetooth ore usb cable. I bought usb cable & there was a cd with it. install program from cd on your pc and use the usb cable. with this program u can exchang data between ur pc & e530.

Brilliant phone definitely recommend it. You cannot get a perfect phone and so you have to take the good with the bad. Small things like no loud speaker really dont matter too much. Buy it!

MMS messages not getting thru - probably your network - I had the same problem with Vodafone for a year on and off - going back to 02 now. Vodafone will not send/recieve messages larger than 100kb (even 101kb would not come to me). No probs smaller messages. Check with your network.

I got this phone exactly a week ago and all I can say is it is my BABY! I treat it like an early birthday present and I have had no complaints with this model. Although I haven't had the chance to buy a bluetooth wire thing to link up to my computer, I was surprised to hear that if you download your own ringtones, it doesn't vibrate. Thank you to whoever wrote that. Also, if you wanna know if it has a speakerfone function when you make calls, unfortunately, it doesn't. That was the only thing that disappointed me. However, I will be getting a Bluetooth headset soon so I will be able 2 use it HANDS-FREE when I drive. Overall, I love it. It's gorgeous, cute, small & I've got it in the pink. Just got this phone and yes its cute and small but im a bit dissapointed, firstly it dosent ring and vibrate at the same time so even though nice and small to put in jean pocket if your in a loud place you miss loads of calls,i know a few default ringtones vibrate and ring but when you download your own music it dont. Also downloaded funny sayings for text alert but can only have them as ringtones, theres no way of changing to text. My mum liked the wallpapers of the dogs so i went to send her them and theres no option to send them. I got mine, and then it didnt wanna charge, went to 2 different shops in Australia, (Melburne) 4 phones were tested, same thing was happening they could not charge them.The orange light was on and the battery was not moving. full phone or empty same thing. I work for an english mobile phone service provider and over the last few days have read through all 45 pages of comments on this handset. I bought the phone last week, so have experience of it myself, the lavender/purple coloured handset. It amazes me that question after question asked are the same why don't you just read the comments before asking a question?? The amounts of times i have had to read about the analog clock?!?!?! I like the phone, its not all singing all dancing but it is capable of working as a phone, mp3 player and camera. Internet seems pretty temperamental but that might be service provider at fault not the handset. I think most queries that have been raised have already been answered numerous amounts of times but if you have any original questions feel free to ask and i'll try to help.

I think this phone is fab. Had it around a month. Excellent picture quality. You can upload/download between phone and pc via bluetooth. You can buy a bluetooth dongle from the internet (eBay) or Argos. I just want to know how to view video uploaded to pc from phone ie what programme to use and can they be converted from mpeg4 to another format for ease of use?

Its a cool phone for ladies, but it has one big problem - occasionally it will just cut-off the line during calls. It is not a drop of signal or line problem (have done some study by swap sim card). It does not happen everyday, and may happen when it like. Call will simply break and keep on breaking if continue to use.Will send in for service. Anyone have solve this?

to Erin, main screen does not turn into a mirror when you hit the 'c' button and for the alarm to come on even if the phone is off, you have to set 'auto power' to 'on' from the main alarm screen. I hope you now understand more, bye xx

Hi Michelle, In answer to your qustions yes you can buy it on pay as you go so you would not have to worry about running up a bill. There is a problem with some people finding that the phone cuts off during calls but I have this phone and it has never done this and so has a friend of mine and hers has never done it either. And even if it did all you would need to do is take it back to where you purchased it and swap it for another. You can download music straight from your pc to your phone. I have done this and it is very easy and you can put them on as your ringtones to so it sounds really cool when someone rings you. You will need to buy something called a dongle to do this though but they cost about �6 on ebay. When you buy the dongle some come with a cd full of ringtones and wallpapers so you could use this cd to load on some different wallpapers onto your phone. I hope I have helped you.

Hello George... the default password for all Samsung models is the same which is 00000000 (8 times zeros)... Calls disconnecting might be a service issue but since u mentioned that it works fine with bluetooth check with the software... u can take it to any of ur local Samsung repair centers... they will help

muddled, why dont you go for the SE W800i? That has a brilliant camera, better than the E530 as I have that phone too and have compared. Also it comes with a 512 mb memory card so can hold more than the Rokr! E530 is an excellent phone though and I will miss things about it. The video mode, both record and playback, is better on the e530 than the w800i though, if that is important to you, but I use the camera more than the video so w800i is a better choice for me.

Samsung E530 is not a very good model. Its not worth of 14500 Rupees. For the same amount, we can get some good model in Nokia or Sony Ericssion. The very good feature which is not there with E530 is, software download option. That bothers me a lot always, as my friends could download and use different software(themes, application software and others) on different brand mobiles. E530 is not a good model. What a fantastic fone. Just got it today.It is so like the D500, and the tones are much better. The only downfall is, like D500, you cannot download your own sms alerts, you have to use the default ones, but that's nothing. The pictures, I think, are much clearer than the D500. And I love the "ladies" section. Well done, Samsung!

this phone is really great! I'd recommend it to anyone. I thought that since it doesn't have a loud speaker it'd be really crap but its actually loud! You can listen to your mp3 without your earphones. My dongle was fine but it sounds very different from youurs. I had a proper samsung one. Only one icon for the bluetooth that I clicked on. And when I send music I just open up where all my music files are on my pc and right click one song. It then comes up with a little box with options and down the list it says send to. I hover on this option and out pops another box saying all the things I can send this music file to and one is now a bluetooth device since I installed my dongle and I just click on that. A data cable does the same thing, you are just connecting your phone straight to your pc without using bluetooth.

I brought a Bluetooth USB Dongle which I have installed into my computer but only 4 of the 13 icons are highlighted to use, so I can�t send music. I do it every single time I text. When you text you then click send but it comes up with the place to put in the phone number. I just press 3 as phonebook is option 3 or you can just click the down arrow until you get to it and up comes the phone book where you can then select who you want to send the text to.

QUESTION ABOUT BLUETOOH ANSWERED: The reason it asked you for a pin is beacuse you can simply do what you did on the train and connect to another persons phone and send them stuff like pics and tones. The pin is for security to stop you receiveing unwanted things if you know what I mean. There is a default code which for mine was 0000 but you can change that. I have answered your question on how you put tones and stuff on your phone but if you need more help let me know. Believe me it is so easy. I had no clue of what to do and just stuck the dongle in my pc and followed the instructions. It was very easy and quick.

SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED: I have this phone so can tell you for certain that you CAN select the number from the phone book when sending a text. I can never remember anyones numbers and do it everytime so don't worry about that. The front display is only designed to be on for a few seconds to save battery life and there is no way of making it stay. The pics are good in my opinion, if you click this link it show you the very first pic I took on the first day I had my phone: In order to put MP3's and stuff on your phone you can do it how I did it. You can buy a bluetooth dongle for your make of phone from the shops or a lot cheaper on ebay. You plug it into your USB port on your computer and either load on the disc that came with the USB or some are just plug and play this loads on the settings for the USB. Then click on the icon for bluetooth that will now be on your toolbar on your pc and select find a new device. You need to make sure you have switched on bluetooth on your phone for the pc to find you. Once it has the make and model of your phone will appear on your pc and you can start sending stuff from your pc to your phone. I use a site to download MP3's but when you buy a dongle on ebay a lot come with a cd full of songs and pics and stuff

Hi, Do you know if there's any way to get the whole front display to be on all the time? Now it only shows the upper row with time etc. all the time. The notice of a missed call disappears from the front screen only after a few seconds!And what's the point of having this fancy "old school" clock in the ad-pics, if in reality you can see it on the front display for a couple of seconds! I have just bought this phone in pink and it's everything I thought it would be a more...it's packed full of stuff for women inc - a perfume picker, biorythm, time of the month schedule, height/weight ratio, shopping list etc. As well as the stuff for women it incs - Bluetooth, MP3 player, camera, video, WAP, Java etc. and all the other stuff that comes with these trendy ickle phones. I love the fact that it's small and so rounded but the keys are quite big so you can still hit the right key even when you're wearing false nails (that's for the girls) and maybe some boys lol. JoJo you can play mp3's while it is shut you just have to add them to your play list. They aren't very loud though for some reason. But they are when set as a ringtone which is strange but I love my phone

I am in Aus and read the comment about mms settings for Telstra; if u didn't buy the ph off them they still need 2 give u the settings if ur using their netwk. This ph is really cool but the 'skin' needs to come in purple! The only real downer about the e530 is that Samsung have substituted a cool bag for the data cable

Also this is link that allows you to send the correct MMS settings to your phone. You just have to select the model of your phone and select your service provider and put in your mobile number and the settings will be sent to your phone. But you have to also install them once they are received.

Kate, When I got my phone I had texts from my service provider with all the settings for MMS. When I sent an MMS message it told me it was sent immediately and I checked with the person I sent them to and they did get them. I know that on the Samsung site there are downloads for all the settings for MMS. And there are different ones depending on your service provider. Maybe you should try that again? Try going here Kate it is a step by step guide on how to set up MMS on the Samsung E530. I hope this helps you:

Yes this phone has MMS. It also does have bluetooth which I have used very easily. It hasn't got a loudspeaker though. I have used the video a couple of times, it's not very good if your in a room and it's dark outside and you're just using the light but it's ok when you have enough light.

Good news for all of those living in Australia who want to get Women's Life Applications. Now you can! Just take your phone to Samsung Service Centre (in Sydney it's Rockdale, Granville or Brookvale), and they'll do it for you in 20 minutes. Apparently, now all E530 phones sold in Australia come with Women's Life Applications and only the first batch of phones doesn't have that feature which they're now installing for free.

There is not enough memory for storing music. This phone should have at least 512Mb. All the other phone features are okay. The additional USB cable is good for sync'g the phone book and loading music.

Hi, i got this phone 4 days ago. I have to say im really pleased. The amount of photos and videos etc it can hold is great! The flip is smooth and the colour is great (i have pink). You need to buy a dongle, they are cheap on ebay. Then you plug it into your USB port on your pc. It loads onto your pc then communicates with your phone once you switch bluetooth on on your phone. Once all this is done. Right click any songs you have stored on your pc and there will be an option there to send to a bluetooth device. Click on that and it will send the song to your phone. I only got mine yesterday but I've loaded all my songs on doing this and it was very easy.

I got a free bluetooth dongle with my phone but you can buy them on ebay really cheap. I simply plugged it into the USB port on my pc and sent all the mp3's I wanted to to my phone really quickly and easily. I now have loads of cool songs on it and am using one for my ringtone. I've got the blue Samsung E530, it's my first flip phone. I love the quality of the screen and size and the ease of use. It's supposed to be a women's phone but it looks just like a normal phone until you look in some of the menus. However, I am disppointed. There is no loudspeaker. The battery life is not great and the charger is not something I'm used to (It's not as easy as a Nokia phone). My worst complaint though is the fact if you're using telephone banking etc. when you are asked to 'press 1' it won't work, you have to go into 'options', 'send DTMF', (press the number you want) and then 'OK'. With my old Nokia phone there was none of this. What a complete pain! I hope Samsung are reading this review. I would love this phone if it wasn't for this problem.

I renewed my contract with Vodafone and was told about this new phone. I looked it up on here and saw some people had problems with it but decided to go for it anyway as there were lots of good comments. I had the phone about 10 days before it started cutting off mid-conversation. This was particularly bad as I used it for business! I returned the phone and received a new one. This one had the same problem from day 1 and also the Bluetooth failed to work. I contacted Vodafone again and decided to get a different phone - Sony Ericsson K750i - which has been fantastic. I think if you buy one of these Samsung phones, you seem to have to take your chances with whether it works or not.

MARIE!!, Fist of all yes it is possible to take pictures with it an put then as ur wallpaper or external display. Mp3 sound is not very loud as far as I know , its very clear tough just not extremely loud. Thirdly yes you can download real sounds from ur p.c and put them onto ur phone and set them as ur ringtone and finally yes it is possible to change ur sms tone i'm pretty surethey have a few different tones i think u could use. hope thats enough help!!

The cutting off is a common fault with the phone, happens alot, doesnt matter how many times the phone is repaired or replaced, until Samsung have sorted out the cause of the problem,, you wont have any joy.If you have one and are still within your returns period, I would take it back and get an alternative or refund.

CAN ANYONE HELP.. Bought the fone for my wife who loves it. Only problem is it keeps disconnecting after about 4 mins (and you girls will know thats no good), and then has trouble reconnecting. to ioana, the sound is great when you play your mp3 files, you can also assign the mp3 file as your ringtone or caller id. what is nice about the phone is it has 4 equalizers and 3d sound! also, i've read somewhere in this forum that you cannot close the phone when you're playing the mp3 file because it will stop playing. Just go to mp3 player and make a playlist and then...voila, you can close the phone and still listening the music

the camera has a good quality yes and you can record for up to 1 hr of vidio with it, its the sort of phone you can never regret buying because it has so many functions. before i bought my phone i did some research on the internet it was around the time of its release. when i went to buy it the salesman knew nothing about it and i had to explain the vidio the mp3 and the womens life section. spwaking of womens life the only parts i find useful are the calorie counter and the pink schedule and the shopping list the rest are just for show. I hate its cream colour its disgusting but i suppose men can use it as well. i bought the lavender pink one myself which is a sort of classic colour but the orange is totally cool too.

to get to womens life go to phopes main menu and enter applications then enter number 3 which is womens life and the asian version does include it. but im having problems with the voice recorder, it records but is so damn low in volume even when i play it at maximum volume and i do speak into the microphone can anyone help me?!!

I have had this phone for over a month now.I have no real complaints,except the vidio recording which takes almost all the phones memory.I was going to get the orange first but when i saw the lavernder pink i fell in love with it and it made the orange version look like a plastic toy! anyway i have lots of fun with the picture effects and frames and the womens life section.it is amazing but i think i bought it a bit too expensive and i advice othre to wait a couple of months if they can (i couldnt).

Hi! i live in Jakarta, indonesia. I've bought my samsung E530 2 weeks ago (blue colour), at first i was all excited about it coz it's really really cute, and small, and oh so for girls! but then i realized that it has some issues: 1. no female application (as said on the ads), 2. poor signal reception, 3. it's hard to listen to the voice when it's noisy, i can hardly hear my friends voice when they call me at the mall, 4. delivery report sent as message (unlike my nokia 3660), so you have to erase it all the time, 5. i can't send anything from my samsung E530 to my nokia 3660 by bluetooth and vice versa, 6. the bussiness card format is different from nokia, when i send a bussiness card from E530 to 3660 by sms, the data dissapear (the sms is blank) and vice versa, 7. no loudspeaker (which is utile for me coz i'm a writer and i want to be able to type while talking on the phone), 8. can not read WAV format, 9. you can only omit the click sound of the camera by switching to mute mode (by pressing # for 3 seconds), 10. some picture message can not be open, 11. and short battery's life. Well, those are the problems that i have with my samsung E530, but i can't say that this a bad phone, actually there are things that really work too: 1. i can send MP3/M4A and pictures to my E503 from my G5 Mac by bluetooth and i can open them, 2. i can use the MP3/M4A songs as ringtones or caller id, 3. the 3D sound is marvellous!, 4. you can give effect and frames to your photo, 5. you can adjust the brightness and the size of the foto, 6. you can take your own foto without opening the phone, 7. the flash works really well, 8. repeatable morning call alarm, 9. and it's very colourfull and animated which attract girls' attention (good presentation). I jump to conclusion that samsung E530 is good for girls who consider design as the most important thing and also for girls who don't need good connectivity, in other word it's a great phone for ourselves but not for getting connected to other people. As for me, i consider selling my samsung E530 since it doesn't help me much to connect and communicate with other people. Peace! :)

Can honestly say that I would be obsessed with Mobile Phones and by far this would be my favourite to date... Only problem is I have been trying to get games from a DISC onto my phone via a usb cable but I just can't work out how to do it... have successfully got pictures and tones and video clips onto it and they're great but would love to get some more games. I have this phone and it is gorgeous! I never can go anywhere without it, it has an organizer, shopping list, great camera, records video, plays mp3's, great sound quality EVERYTHING i would look for in a phone! It's also very pretty. And with my new Bluetooth Dongle I can transfer pictures and videos between my phone and computer. It's an excellent phone I would recomend it to anyone!

This phone is gorgeous!! the camera may only b 1 mega pixel but it sure is good!! i think the camera is much better than the Samsung D500!! and thats 1.3 mega pixel!! i love this phone and a good way to keep the scraches off is to use the case what came with the phone!! I have had my one now for nearly 2 months and there isnt one scrach on it!! and as for the data cables!! I prefer the blue tooth dongle for the pc!! no wires and can b used up to 100 metres!! give it a try and it can b found on ebay for as little as �5!! much better!!

u can buy a usb lead and cd off ebay �10 and thats for postages as well. the usb fits into where ur charger fits its well worth it..so anyone who has this fone should buy one..the cd has over 600 downloads of images and mp3s

my parents bought this phone(lavender pink) 4 me as an advance bday gift few days ago n i really love this phone..here are the advantages & disadvantages that i've found so far.. *advantages* -good camera quality -unique design -ringtones ( mp3 & 64-polyphonic) -women's life application -caller ID ringtones & pictures -bluetooth -cheaper compared to nokia *disadvantages* -the click sound from taking picture cannot be removed..(very annoying) -other E530c phone colour may not have the women's life app.(orange, white & blue..)also depends on the versions as well.. -can only hear ringtone or vibrate (not both)when receiving msgs,calls etc. not like nokia & sony ericsson. -i still cant figure out how to play mp3 when the clamshell is closed. -no USB connection point. -no radio/infrared/handsfree speaker -missed call cannot be seen on the cover screen after few minutes..which means dat you have to unflip it to see..

You can NOT upload java games to this phone via Bluetooth or cable (the Java Uploader for D500 doesn't work either). And I can NOT download new games from Samsung website either. The 4 games this phone has it all you'll ever get. This sucks big time ! Please remove "+ Downloadable" from the phone specifications or please advise me a way of uploading games to this phone.

I have just got this phone as a free upgrade from a samsung e700. not too impressed with it so far, thinking bout sending it back. it looks really good but its a year older than my other one and only stores 20 messages. it doesnt have any images for wall paper etc and only has one ring tone on it where as my other had loads. if anyone can help me get ring tones i would really appreciate it but at mo im quite dissapointed. video messaging is fuzzy too. suppose i cant be too fussy as it was free! oh well!

Hi, I'm from Asia and I bought my e530 around 3 weeks, excited about the women's lifestyle applications that I can use on it. However, after buying, I was disappointed when informed by the samsung office that only e530s manufactured in europe actually have the women's applications. All others don't !!! HELP PLEASE, would you know which sites, samsung or otherwise have the applications/european firmware so i can just install them myself on my phone. What a scam, that's what they were advertising about this model all over the magazines and samsung and mobile websites, and only a chosen few has the applications!!!!!!!

I was two months into my 24 month plan with my motorola E398 and I came accross this Samsung ...I HAD TO Have it! I paid $350.00 to get out of my contract/ plan so I could start my new plan with the Samsung E530. Im happy to say It was completely worth it :)It's so cute, ill be sticking with this baby for years to come! It has everything! Oh one problem though! I cant change the Keypad tones, it is only allowing the standard "beep" (there are 3 tones available)... Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me????

Hi ! I'm having troubles when changing KEYPAD tone. I can only make it BEEP or MUTE. I have 3 keypad tones but changing to them has no effect. I sure hope this is just a bug and not a feature so I can change the phone... Please tell me how it works on your E530 .. Thanks p.s. to sally its not really pink its a darker pink, but its really nice i have seen a baby pink but i dont no if u can really get that colour but i think the darker pink is nicer u can also get it in orange, blue, chic white ( silver). hope this helps

Ok, I have this phone and bought the usb data cable for this phone. I was just wondering if any1 knows how to get it to work? I have installed all the disks it come with but cannot get it to tranfer any files or anything. Well...this is indeed a great phone, I simply love it, but there still is a problem: I cannot send MMSs, as some previously said.The reply is "Multimedia Message sending failed". I just can't understand what is wrong, the settings have been correctly made. I just hope I'll find a remedy for this "illness".

It's a great, really handy phone, very light and fits perfectly in a lady's hand. The versions available in the Philippines however do not carry the womens life applications. Though it's not the top of the line in technical specs, they're more than sufficient for a lady's use. I changed my D500 for the E530--mainly for the feature that's sorely lacking in the higher end D500--the option of sending texts to many, or to a group list. For heavy texters to different groups of friends, or staff, this is an indispensable feature. Overall, it's a wonderful phone. I love it.

I bought this phone a couple of days ago and just can not get MMS or WAP working. The little G symbol appears but the MMS returns a message 'Multimedia message retrieving failed' and the WAP returns 'Connection no available'. My provider assures me that MMS is active on my number and they have set up the connections correctly. Do I have to enter any sort of code to activate GPRS or anything ? Any help appreciated.

I really like it, I had a Motorola V550 and it was horrible ! does somebody know how many sms can this mobile keep on it's memory ??? it's an important thing to me. I bought this phone last week and it's lovely! I had a Sony-Ericsson P900 and I'm totally in love with this new one. I also bought a Bluetooth Dongle and it's fast to download stuff from my laptop into the phone. Picture and video quality is better than the P900. Do you know from which websited can I download free wallpapers? I also downloaded the free stuff for this phone from samsungmobile.com and it has over 120 tones! Great deal people, enjoy and have fun, it's worth it!

Good phone.. annoyed a bit with the service on it though.. first I tried to download an mp3 but It wouldn't let me and came up 'unacceptable' .. thought MP3's were compatable with the E530? Secondly.. I tried to send an email with attachment and came up not available. Good phone but those two things are really annoying, very temperamental on the internet.

I love my phone, but have one major grumble: it doesn't default to T9/predictive texting when I create a text message. So, if I send 3 texts, I have to reset it to T9 each time. Am I missing something? Can I set this centrally?

Hi, I know about seven people who have had this or the 720 and have given up because of the sound quality. Both models share the same fault. D500 is ok and older models such as e330 and x460 are fine also. Z500 is another option for you, but I don't know anybody who has owned one so don't know if fault is present on that model too.

e530 main 3 disadvantages: 1. Average sound quality while calling 2. Only 10 ringtones for messages (pretty quiet) and ist's possible to upload own ringtones for messages! 3. Dictaphone recordings are very quiet.

i have the e530 in lavendar pink it has the womens life applications i also work in a mobile phone shop and the only other colour that has the womens life is the light blue. The orange and the white ones don�t have it dont know why but all the ones that we have received in the shop are like that

Fogot to mention: On top of girl's design of all samsung flip phones, they all have the worsest audio quality! READ the reviews on different sites: especially on www.phonescoop.com (you will hardly find a samsung phone that gets 4.0 review , out of 5.0 maximum score). The only reason samsung phones got 98% bellow 4.0 score is due to thei horrible sound quality. WELL, motorola GSM phones were horrible in sound quality first few years. BUT AT LEAST all new motorola phones have excllent sound , despite that the phone quality, menu, and durability is still horrible. SO CAN'T samsung improve the sound quality? IF IT DOES IMPROVE IT ONE DAY, it will be a perfect phone.

A girl's phone? Yes, it is so. But why only this model of Samsung ( just because it has pink color?). TO ME, all Samsung flip phones look in shape and in size like girl's phones. The only difference beween the rest is that they are not pink! LOOK carefuly and you will see they are all small and look like toys. I have always been a Sonyericsson and Nokia user. I was having doubts at first before I finally decided to buy my first Samsung phone, E530. I am so glad I did (just 2 days ago) and I have never been satisfied this much with a phone. The design is great, ease of use and interface is better than the competition. Definitely worth every penny. The neg. points raised like lack of memory slot can be taken positively. At least you will never waste time thinking if you would buy higher memory or not. Everything is simplified. After using so many complicated phones before, it's exactly what I need. Samsung's my new favorite!

amy: 1. When someone calls me, does his/her picture come up on the EXTERNAL display? Yes. 2. Is the picture quality good? Quite good. Especially outdoors. 3. When the fone is flipped open does it make a sound like the older models? You can on/off this sounds. 4. when i take a pic with the maximum resolution is there a delay like in the D500? 1 second delay in the maximum resolution.

Hi, can anyone help? I bought a usb cable and software off ebay. I managed to install it (I think) but then where do I go from there? I got no instructions with my cable and now i'm not sure what to do. It really doesn't seem very obvious! I plugged in my phone but nothing comes up on screen. Sally: In my own opinion e530 is much better phone than nokia 3220 :) 1. Analogue clock stays on external display for 10 seconds. You can press volume key for 2 seconds and analogue clock will appear for another 10 seconds :) It saves battery power. There is no other option. Maybe it will be possible in the next firmware. 2. Yes it's plastic but it's high quality plastic. It feels very very good! No creak! Assembled very well! Don't be afraid. 3. This phone is brilliant! ;) Really! :))

Yes it has USB port (same as power port) - got my USB lead from greymobiles on ebay complete with software. Yes it will let you have mp3 as ringtone. Only thing I have found is I managed to get hold of a blue phone off ebay but it does not have the Womens Life features on it - have mailed samsung to ask if that app only comes in pink - guess it does as the manual does not include it as a feature. Picture quality outdoors is pretty good for 1MP - like the borders you can put on too! Hope this helps!
