Samsung Galaxy Note10 - User Reviews

  • Personally I would say note 9 is better and has a plus point of heart rate sensor and rear mounted touchbid

  • Interesting comments... Personally I think we shouldve seen an even smaller note of only 5.8", priced slightly below the S10e. The current Note 10 6.3" display is a good medium and the Note 10+ 5G 7.1", competing with the likes of the Huawei Mate 20 X. Apple are on to a better naming structure for its recent handsets, please do away with the "e" and "lite" names Samsung!

  • Differences are there like chipset(in Note10 it Exynos 9825) and camera arrangement along with it's image processing which is little better in Note10.

  • Does this phone have any significant developments over the S10+ besides the S pen? Which phone is better?

  • I agree with U. I'm using Exynos version Note10 in India and I'm very happy with this device except the battery life which get discharge fast if I keep sync and GPS on for clicking photos and navigation. I think battery life can be improved with a software update but it seems Samsung is not listening to us.

  • Totally agree with u battery life is not bad can last a full day of usage even with some juice left in it and charging is super fast.

  • This phone actually very good despite the bad opinion by others. Probably most of them did not experience using it on hand. Only read and watch youtube. In average usage, the battery life i can get is 6-8 hours while continuous gaming like pubg and ml, i can get more than 4 hours. Im using exynos version. camera is superb especially the night mode. charging and spen is the best part. Only need one hour to fully charge when battery is less than 10%. I used spen a lot when i feel like my hand is a bit dirty and i dont want the dirt on my screen

  • Are you using snapdragon or exynos version?

  • note 10 is so much inferior to note 9: * less screen resolution > Who gives a shit? The screen is great. * considerably less pixel density > Same as above * no 3.5 mm headphone jack > True but if you are dependant on this, get another phone * considerably smaller battery > In testing results they are similar. * no memory card slot > Who gives a shit? It has 256 GB * more expensive > Yes its a new phone. Note 9 was also high price when new. This is ridiculous! It is like Samsung making fun of its customers! son of a bit$h... Dont forget you get a smaller more compact phone with almost the same screensize as the Note 9. For many people this is worth a lot.

  • Could anyone give me battery review? How battery compare with S9 plus?

  • note 10 is so much inferior to note 9: * less screen resolution * considerably less pixel density * no 3.5 mm headphone jack * considerably smaller battery * no memory card slot * more expensive This is ridiculous! It is like Samsung making fun of its customers! son of a bit$h...

  • Just tested-out if putting some clear duct tape or whatever over the in screen fingerprint reader will unlock my moms note 10 and guess what!!!! IT DID!!!! And now I just took $$$$ from her credit card!!!! YAHOOO!!!!

  • Well, the LG V20 was a good phone in 2016 and 2017, just as the Samsung S7 was a good phone, and still they are good phones, but the processor on these phones are getting too slow for todays use. Cameras from the LG V20 is way worse, the Samsung S7 not so much, but still worse than on the Note 10. If you had said the LG V30, it would have been a different discussion, as the V30 is still today an amazing phone, and some aspects on this phone is much better than the Note10. (Battery life, snappiness, feeling in hand)

  • You want the LG V30. Trust me. I have used both.

  • Samsung, why dont you make the fingerprint sensor screen lock as close as to a dot size? So you can make user frustated more when they try to unlock the screen in hurry? You have the worst small design finger print sensor ever exist in history, and make it so hard to unlock the screen in hurry, especially if you have big finger. Well, dont tell me you make this phone only for people with tiny skiny finger? Dooh!

  • If you prefer Samsung, choose S10 series then.

  • Running fantastic since my one month usage. No issues encountered except poor battery life but still manageable. Waiting for fingerprint issue fix software update in India.

  • The lack of 3.5mm jack is annoying. Imagine, being on a flight and they announce, put your phone in flight mode. That means no Bluetooth either! So you have to carry an adaptor, so you can use regular wired headphone. Then you phone needs charging, except the port is being used by your headphone. My car does n't have bluetooth, so I need to a 3.5mm jack. It seems Samsung is in the pockets of fashionistas, but not people who really use their phones.

  • Well, the next gen (i.e millenial or whatever) are using the cloud, the wireless audio jack and the video (i.e youTube, etc). And all of them are not a downgrade thing.

  • I wanna buy a decent phone with latest snapdragon chipset . All I get is awful screen with notch or punch hole or pop to collect dust. Then conveniences like sd card slot, 3.5mm jack, FM radio is all missing but the price is doubling every year with all the downgrade. Millennials and gen Y n Z. Why do you all blindly following trends?

  • Easy answer: a trend.

  • After a week in my hand, I just can say this is stunning cell phone, even I wrote a negative comment in a several week before in this forum...😃😃 but after I really purchased & take home and use it, I feel the better product than my old note 8...l love the size, its handy and it so simple to placed in my pocket...8gb ram and 256gb int memory is more than enough for me..because I use it as a real my daily driver as an official, I'm not a gamer..thesse my real bases experience opinion...ofcourse this product still had a several disadvantage..such as a front finger print...

  • I think it's a great phone. Its camera is top-ranked in the DxO. It is just around 15 cm in length, which is just the right size for a mobile phone in most people's hands. The problem I just concerned is that no 3D ToF camera is equipped, still I think it won't cause too much problem but equipped is still better.

  • May be, a choice for people with smaller hands?

  • I bought it cause it's smaller than the Note 9 and 10 Plus. And, in Europe the phone has a quicker processor than the Note 9

  • cant understand why anybody would want to buy this phone .when the note 9 is better and cheaper .i think they are pushing people towards the 10 plus

  • correct! All phone mfgrs. make different models of the same phone for different markets. the note 10 Chinese model had card slot for 1 terabyte of storage. I always buy the non US. market models. Think global unlocked! This model is version cdma. the world is GSM unlocked to any network. only US. models are locked to their network, att, version, sprint, etc. I travel world wide. I pop in a sim in that country and good to go.

  • only the Plus version.

  • I was disappointed when I read that the memory cannot be expanded but I checked on the Samsung website and there's a memory card slot.

  • And to be honest (too), your opinion show me that you may have two personality, honest and biased person. If you have a good experience with Note8, I am sure that you can be happy with Note10, as they both come from the same brand. You may regret your buying because you feel that there is no BIG difference between your Note8 and Note10 and you have spend lot money already.

  • to be honest am having the phone for almost two days but still confused about keeping it or go back to my note 8 as I didn't get all those features for what I paid the battery life is less my note 8 and even it is bigger and when I backed up my note 10 the screen looks a little darker than note 8 when I put then next to each other the size is perfect but overall it wasn't a big upgrade from two years old phone to a brand new phone!!!

  • Very true and a good analysis.

  • Hi guys, well October Security update has come 2days back in India. I've updated my Note10 with this. It has brought improvements specially in camera department. Believe me guys Selfie camera performance in low light is very balanced and nice. Very Happy with my Note10 purchase. It's been 3weeks now.

  • I'm glad that Note 10 does not have 3.5mm jack, because it makes this phone even worse. It adds one more item to the list of why the LG V20 is better than Note 10. Why LG V20 is better than Note 10: -removable battery -3.5mm jack -FM Radio -IR blaster remote -call recording -second screen -intelligent design (16:9 screen ratio, no rounded edges and corners of the screen, useful bezels, no glass back)

  • Here is my opinion after using note 10 for a week 1. Fantastic display even with FHD+ resolution it is stunning 2. Audio quality is superb if u r watching videos or playing games or listening music 3. Camera - All the flagship phones camera produce superb results and can't be compared much during daytime clicks but during our ongoing festival in last week I have clicked mostly night time photos and the result that came out are stunning 4. Battery - Though for the first 2 days I became afraid that it was draining too quickly....I called Samsung helpline and they told me that it will happen for first 3-4 days because the device is Learning my usage pattern.....and that is very true after 3rd day it was like magic battery is draining normally if u r a moderate user u can have it easily for a day with some juice left on it. My usage pattern is like browsing, facebook, whatsapp, insta, share my mobile data with my laptop for an hour via mobile hotspot, gaming for an hour (PUBG) and some writing notes with Spen....all consumes about 80% of battery with 20% left in it. Call quality both earpiece and loudspeaker is crystal clear While playing games with HDR the device is not getting any heat issue a little warm u can feel if u r using that cover u r getting within box Charge really fast within an hour.....charged 20 to 100 took 55 mins. My experience is pretty smooth while doing everything in this phone.

  • Battery charging is fast as well Note10 discharges fast. Atleast twice a day one has to charge a Note10.

  • Call n talk on Samsung Customer care or visit their service center.

  • I can't adjust music volume with earset. I could control music n everything volume by earset when i used samsung S7. But now I can't on Note10 why???

  • Ok....Thank U

  • Might be through a software update. Keep posting your concern on their Twitter handle or in Samsung Members app.

  • so how long is the SOT for this phone?

  • The FM radio is only available for USA And Canada buyers what about the rest of us as we pay just as they do why can't we have the FM radio as well. Is our money not good enough or are we just not good enough to have the radio.

  • So how can it be solved? I'm from India too (Kolkata)

  • Yes, I'm from Pune, India and I bought Note10 a week back and have battery drain issue. It charges fast and drains fast too.

  • Thanks to all of U for ur opinions....Finally bought note 10 (aura black) yesterday after a confusion between note 10 and iPhone 11....Loving it....but can anyone tell me that battery is draining a bit fast is it normal?

  • My mistake, NPU is also inbuilt in Exynos 9825 CPU.

  • What were your problems with your s10? You say it was the worst phone you have had.

  • Definitely Note10 a better choice over iPhone11 but in camera department image processing is much better in iPhone11 due presence of Neural engine in it's A13 CPU...which is not there in Exynos 9825 CPU.

  • Finally I got rid of the S10 which was the worst phone in 5 years, after Note 9, Iphone 8, S8, Iphone 7. This Note 10 is very much similar to S10, but it has the stylus, what I actually like to use, and i missed it a lot. Other stuff has improved as well, like the fingerprints are recognized more precisely now, accidental touch does not wake it up in my pocket, proximity sensor is working now. I understand why Apple is still keeping those ugly thick bezels. they are for reason, because it is really tricky to hold the Samsungs not touching the screen area. Triple cameras are about the same as in S10, and finally Iphone has them too. I was dividing in my decision between Iphone 11 and Note10, right until the Iphone 11 launch event, where they showed nothing new. and here i am with the Note.

  • Same to same was my confusion but finally i picked Galaxy Note10 as it is value for money. In India 128gb iPhone11 & Note10 256gb costs same with same offers on card. I choose Note10 over iPhone11 as I'm getting xtra 128gb, a telephoto camera, amoled screen, Full HD display, dual physical sim support & more flexible+open OS I feel than iOS. Gonna keep this for 4-5yrs now. :)

  • Picture and video quality is better on iphone 11 but the screen is better on note 10 and as per battery backup both will get u through out your day if u a moderate user.. but one this is that camera features are way more in note 10 but if you want a simply batter picture quality like point and shoot just get the iphone 11 but mind you screen is way better on note 10 but if you haven't used any flagship device in the past the screen of iphone 11 won't be an issue for you

  • No. you cannot..

  • I have an s8 and my wife has an iPhone 8. I prefer the Samsung although she also likes her iPhone so it really comes down to personal preference. There is really nothing wrong with either phone. It may come down to which iPhone you are looking at compared to which Samsung you are looking at. Perhaps also listen to Maria's suggestion.

  • why is it so dim? im planning to get this phone as well.. but i also need bright screen phones as i always use my phone outdoor

  • I use a Galaxy A5 (2016), and after 4-5 months I will buy a Huawei P smart (2019). I planned to use that one 2 years and after this one I will buy a Note10 standard. Should I do it?

  • I wanted soo badly to love this phone and make it my long term device but the wifi sucks on it and would lose signal all together in my bedroom, tested it alongside other devices in the same area of house and it was terrible.Display was incredibly DIM,I remember seeing a demo model at Best Buy the EXACT day it was available before preorder started,it was dim there too.I thought that maybe it was just a demo mode thing but no,It is the dimmest display on any Samsung phone I have ever owned. My Pixel 3a is brighter.I returned it because at the end of the day.....It is nowhere near a 950.00 value for what you get.

  • Thank U for ur suggestion....Both are good phones....if i go with note 10 that means i have to sacrifice better battery management and long term updates....while if I go for iphone 11 i have to sacrifice user friendly experience i mean i have been using android for last four years it is not so restricting......assuming cameras of both these phones are equal apart from iphone is missing the telephoto lens.....but so far I have seen videos of both these phones unboxing and review i think camera picture quality is more realistic on iphone while note 10 captures images with more vivid but both the picture qualities are good

  • So far I know, yes, the NFC and bluetooth of iPhone is connected with the Apple ones only. That's why I use Android phone.

  • Anonymous wrote his needs: "...the better one in terms of camera picture quality, longivity i mean updates, display and battery backup most important thing". When talking about the battery matter which I dislike the topic, and comparing Samsung phone vs Apple iPhone, I think Apple iPhone is better than Samsung (or even any Android phones). I think Apple iPhone is the best in power management practically. Well, @scorpio, it does not mean the Note10 is bad. If anyone prefer Samsung phone (i.e Android phone), of course, Note 10 (full dot)

  • In my country both are same price....as I told u that i don't know much about ios....and will be using flagship for the first time....so do u recommend note 10? I told u about my requirements

  • Maria earlier on you were recommending note10. Now you are suggesting iPhone. So which one is it? I know both are very good but this is confusing.

  • So it will not work with my Windows 10 PC.....i mean if bluetooth doesn't work how will I transfer my pics to my PC

  • I assume that it is Samsung only for you and in this case, Samsung flagship phone vs current Apple iPhone. Well, in a short conclusion, I like Apple iPhone rather than Samsung phone because, I think, Apple has the very well balance between their hardware (including the battery) and software. I may not have correct words to explain but I can feel it. I am using Apple computer and tablet, but their phone. It is simply because their NFC and even bluetooth are so exclusive, connecting with Apple devices only. But if you do not mind with this, based on your needs, iPhone is for you.

  • Please reply me. The phone is working great but there is one problem i am facing . When i am using camera at night , whenever i tap the screen for focus at night, it should use flash . But it is not doing that. I have to just click camera shutter button to click a photo at night with even knowing what is there in front of me. It is not using flash for focus when flash mode is on Is anyone facing this issue?

  • Regularly I will peruse a post and think 'stunning, incredible post!' Samsung Galaxy Note 10

  • I'm using A8 plus.....haven't tried ios and don't know much about it....but i will be using flagship for the first time which will be the better one in terms of camera picture quality, longivity i mean updates, display and battery backup most important thing

  • What is your current phone? Samsung phone or Apple phone? Have you tried iOS? Or Have you tried Android? Which one do you like? Both are a good beginning for your first flagship one. Me? I like Android for a phone so I will get Note10.

  • Apple's camera is best in the industry,

  • Iphone 11 or samsung note 10? I will be using flagship phone for the first time i don't know much about ios i haven't tried yet. My priority is camera, display, battery backup and i want to use it atleast for 4-5 years.....Which one should I move for....both are same price in my country.....Pls suggest

  • Honestly I put the battery matter in my last number when buying a smartphone, because I believe that the battery technology (i.e the material) is the same I used Nokia 8210. The forward movement are only the more mAH and fast charging tech. So for me, whatever my phone is, any brands, the battery looks the same.

  • You can then just used the usb c (wired) headphones bundles with the phone. Alternatively you can buy a usb c to headphone jack converter and use your existing headphones.

  • I would have thought that as the screen is larger the difference in the display would become more apparent - less pixels spread over more real estate. This is the main area where the Note 10 disappoints me. If it had the same display as the s10 then it would be a no brainer as the size is just right whereas the Note 10+ is just a little too large, at least for my pockets.

  • Ummm did you read that the guy said that battery is also important? S10 and good battery time.. ? no can do

  • Yhey are smart. you get more battery. why the hell do you need 4k display or 2k display that is 6". that is not your tv. You wouldn't even notice the difference

  • Yeah, I'm able to get 6-7 hours of SoT with moderate usage, and that being with GPS turned on and being connected to a smart watch. Although, I use Nova Launcher (more battery efficient) and I dark mode everything I can, so that the phone is as optimised as it can be

  • Unfortunately, the camera works much worse than in Galaxy Note 9... Samsung update software !!!

  • Dude. The phone should last u all day with normal use. If u constantly playing games, battery will die in 5hrs or less. U need to turn off the gps location. It will kill your baffery quick!

  • Any WIRELESS technology such as Blootooth, Infrared or WIFi near your brain is a HEALTH HAZARD. Ditching the 3.5 mm jack required for wired headsets make the phone totally unusable as we can't even make use of the most important function of a phone - take phone calls!!! As we keep the phone two feet away from the head by using a wired headset. Same goes for listening to audio books, music or you tube videos. Any phone without a 3.5 mm port for a wired headset is totally useless.

  • I don't believe that graphene batteries are in production as yet. I think they may still be experimental or in the finalisation stage of testing. Perhaps you misunderstood what you either read or saw.

  • You should go to a technology store to see and use them yourself it will help you decide. Both has its shortcomings like S10 not having OIS/EIS on 4K60fps or note10 being too boxy. Dont buy anything without checking them out in real life

  • Because note10* has a better screen than note10 so I was very interested in your opinion regarding note10 display. I am now considering either note10 or s10 but I am concerned with the slightly degraded display of the note10. Everything else about the phone is extremely appealing. The note10+ is too big for me. I currently have an s8 and the other two phones will be very similar in size.

  • This thing is a thousand dollar device with a FHD display. WTF Samsung?

  • Note10 why?

  • Did you mean Note 10 or Note 10+.

  • Well display matters I had the chance to use my friends note10 and well damn my own A50 looks like a joke now (display-wise)

  • Well yeah but at least they give 256GB of storage even for the base model unlike apple that gives 64GB

  • Please reply me. The phone is working great but there is one problem i am facing . When i am using camera at night , whenever i tap the screen for focus at night, it should use flash . But it is not doing that. I have to just click camera shutter button to click a photo at night with even knowing what is there in front of me. It is not using flash for focus. When flash is on

  • During the presentation they said that the Note 10 will have Graphene Batteries, however in the specs here it states Li-ion battery. So was it a lie or the truth?

  • Phone rocks on table top like crazy!!!!Ugh.I always use my phone on the desk at work!!Typing, using calculator, scrolling.

  • To make things worse,U need to use Samsung's usb c dongle only.I have extra ones that work with other devices but.....not his one.

  • U r right.I am from India .I also want snapdragon processor but it is not available.Exynos processor is not much better. One plus and other chinese phones are giving snapdragon. For why samsung not? I can't understand

  • If Samsung Note10 is for you but you prefer the audio jack, S10 is the only choice then.

  • I bought it and used it for several weeks, because of my curiosity over the comparison and the lack of people's opinions, the small conclusion I got was that the screen size was perfect, the screen resolution had no effect because it was lower than the composer, the memory size was 256 more than enough than I expected, and others I think do not bring bad impact on this device, I think this is better than I thought

  • First I thought to myself - I'm gonna buy this phone. Not too big, good battery time, OLED... and then I saw it... no 3.5mm jack... Sorry Samsung.. no buy ..

  • Guys, how many screen on time hours in this device?

  • It is not a Joke, didn't you check the ??? mark, just wanna confirm do we get update earlier than OnePlus and Pixel devices....that's it.

  • Yeah same. I think that we got the update earliest apart from the Google Pixel's. But gotta say, if the phone will constantly get these updates so quickly, then this is definitely going to be a major go for some.

  • You've made a very big step, buddy! Good luck with your new Note 10!

  • Good joke... Pixel devices already received Android 10 with september security patch..

  • Coming from Nokia Asha 210 was a big change :-) I love this Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Black. I made the pre-order and got Free Samsung Buds Black (Great Companion). The size is just right for me. The battery lasts a day (No Games).

  • Received a 154.33 MB update today contains September Security Patch and improved audio quality through wired earphone, before Google and OnePlus devices???

  • sigh* going to pass on this one. micro sd & earphone jack was a showstopper for me

  • no head phone jack? Ok I'm NOT buying this!!

  • Agreed. Perfect size n design! But no 3.5mm jack! It has an adapter so its not bad. I like sammy phone but price is too damn high. Ill stick to lg for now.

  • I have purchased this phone and I've got to say it's the best phone I've ever held. Perfect size, perfect screen, lots of storage, plenty of memory. The only little downsize is the battery, but I'll be purchasing a USB Power Delivery power bank so it isn't that big of a deal. This phone is a 9.5/10

  • to me this is the best phone size , (when it comes to physical dimensions at least).

  • Well, they removed it to save money as 256 GB is enough for the average user and this phone isn't aimed for the professionals, it's aimed at normal people. The people with professional needs will get the Note 10 + anyways due to a larger and higher res screen, bigger battery and better camera.

  • Filthy Samsung copying Apple by removing the SD slot. They just want you to spend more money and force you to buy the Note 10+.

  • Well people who don't want a gargantuan phone shouldn't be given worse specs.

  • anyone experience weak signal?

  • Regarding the 1080p and 1440p debate - I`m personally using LG phones for the last few year mainly because of the 1440p screens. My current Lg V40 has both 1080p and 1440p options, but I˙m very sensitive about the resolution when it comes to small text. I see the diference, it`s something that is not very noticeable on a small screen (s9 or S10), but when it comes to 6.x screens, I notice the diference. Phonearena had a nice survey and about 50% of people can see the diference in resolution between 1080p and 1440p.

  • just got mine. my cons with this note 10 is only 2, its RAM managemet and battery life. I'm a 2 sim cards user, so I'm exactly never use the mc slot on this device. i I don't go with the cheaper s10+ because 128gb storage seems not enough for me. don't forget, note 10 using newer and faster UFS 3.0 which s10+ doesn't. I've been using wireless bluetooth headset for over a year, no 3.5 mm jack is not a big deal to me. now let's talk about the 1080p display. I don't notice any different from 1440p one when comparing to my brother's note 8, seriously. but I don't know, am I the only one here who is so pleased about the decision samsung made about this display res? because 1080p display will cost you more graphic performace when gaming. maan, I'll take it anyday-anytime than having more sharp image to look at since it isn't that noticable =))

  • No you're right, a good quality 1080p amoled is perfect for most people, the only problem here is that you pay 1000$ for a phone, you expect it to have one of the best if not The best display in the world. Still I salute Samsung for the gorgeous design of this true rectangular display with sharp corners, I'm really sick of those curved angles on every single 2019 sp I see (maybe minus sony)

  • Sot 9 - 10 hours

  • lets go buy it the latest oneplus then.

  • I really like the display topic than the battery topic. I think ppi is more important than screen resolution but I do not say that the screen resolution is not important. I may be wrong anyway.

  • Where are all the fanboys that talked trash about xperia 1 battery size? At least, in the xperia 1 is well optimized

  • Battery drained so fast . I get only 3 - 4 hours of use after fully charger . The phone always getting warm . Someone can help me ?

  • can somebody pliss do battery drain test and charging speed on this regular note 10 instead of plus version.. didnt see anyone doing this.. hmm

  • That's called progress...…?

  • Thanks Cupcakes I've done the same with my s8 and the difference is almost imperceptible so what is the benefit of a higher resolution?

  • I have compared it to the note 10 plus side by side , i changed the resolution of the plus model to 1080p and back , I was not able to notice any difference , it seems to look a tiny bit better when you view it real close like 4 inch close to your face, or maybe my mind is playing tricks.

  • 1080p vs 1440p Some argue that it's not much noticable since the Galaxy S10's default resolution is set to 1080p. I tried charging the resolution back and forth between Full HD and QHD on my S10, but couldn't notice a difference. But it may be a different scenario on the Note 10 since the display panel itself is limited to 1080p.

  • not all phone users want big screen phone.some users just want to experience using spen.

  • For those who wants to use s-pen but not willing to use big phones.not all users cares about resolution, jack & sd card.

  • How's the battery on the device? Cause I heard that it beats the Note 10+ due to better optimisation, a smaller screen, lower resolution etc.

  • I heard that New Note 10’s Snapdragon is more fast and powerful than Exynos Chip. Whaay are they making separate 2 version? Most important Thing is, In my conutry, only Exynos version launching, and lost my mind getting that. I want buy only Snap 855! pleas give me a Good Device!

  • 2017 note: 1000 eur gets you a s8+ with an extra camera, extra 2 gb ram, s-pen, better battery optimisation 2018 note: 1000 eur gets you better cameras, better design, better s-pen, better storage, stereo audio, better battery 2019 note: 1000 eur again for a slightly better camera, an in-display fingerprint reader and a better s-pen but you lose true stereo audio, you get a display as sharp as the note 3's display with a hole in it, no headphone jack, no micro sd expansion, smaller battery, smaller screen

  • How is the battery back up? and about resolution i just cant find the difference in QHD and FHD panel , unless its like a 10 inch tablet or something . I have always set the res. at FHD on my Note 8

  • let me tell you my review of Note10!! super excited because I just got mine :) about the note's special feature, S pen. the air actions was the most iconic and coolest thing in this mobile i think. nice and easy use, magical effects. as i am working in the design industry, the resolution of the phone is important. so I hate to say this but i have to say that FHD is not enough for me. sorry samsung umm and also camera, i highly expected the features but the low light feature makes me fell little disappointed. when I take a photo with note10 in the dark, the result seems little bit blurry.. last but not least , AP. i thought i could get sd 855+, but 855 loaded. not cool :-0 bit disappointed

  • I just wonder whether the display would have to be better on the s10 and whether it would be noticeable enough to sway some people. Also if you are looking at the note10 why would you not look at the note10 5g It would appear to be the most economical 5g phone available right now unless perhaps the benefits of 5g are not such a great step forward.

  • i've been using my note10 since last friday. But i still dont get why they stick with SD855 for power user phone. They should have upgraded to 855+ like Exynos did.

  • Hello. Which phone should I purchase. The options are Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10+, Huawei P30 Pro and the Xperia 1. Please help.

  • yes.

  • They put a larger screen with a lower resolution. S10 has QHD+, while Note 10 has FHD+ display. They removed memory card slot and 3.5mm jack. Bumped up the internal memory and battery (+100mAh).

  • I'm waiting to buy batt endr score after note 10+ review.

  • Dude it's only same size as the regular s10. They managed to put a larger screen than s10 on a similar chassis that is incredible. Also the s pen is needed

  • Note 10 would be perfect if it were a little bit smaller, have a memory card and headphone jack. And no need for that stylus...i got it, that is my S10, which is perfect !

  • Thank U for ur opinion....3.5mm jack is not a problem for me i don't use headset much only when I listen to music while travelling somewhere.....so note 10 will be the better option

  • Both are basically the same. But I think the Note 10 looks stunning. You get an microSD slot on the s10 but you have 256gb onboard storage on the note 10 compared to 128gb on s10. And the headphone jack, well yes it's useful, it should've been there on the note 10 too. But i don't think it should be a dealbreaker. I have a S10 but i don't use 3.5mm jack much unless I'm playing pubg or watching a movie. As far as the software updates go, both phones were launched at Android Pie. So both will receive the next 2 major Android updates Q and R. Oh and btw Note 10 has a 7nm chipset while the S10 has a slightly less efficient 8nm process. It's all up to you, but if i had to choose between the two, I'd happily go with the Note 10 even if i had to spend another 100€ extra.

  • I gotta be honest, the Note 10 is an L. They removed the headphone jack for stupid reasons, the "cheap" one is still $999 yet only has a 1080p screen, there are just so many cheaper and better alternatives. But if you really want this phone, get the + version, because it seems Samsung has taken Apple's method of charging more for basic features. Very disappointing

  • Great phone! For users that use S-pen and don't like big phones, this is the correct choice... Just remember, it has basically same sreen size of Note 9 in less space. Some specs are diferent but battery is also good...

  • Note 10 isn't the succesor of the Note 9. That's Note 10+, which is better than Note 9 in every way. Note 10 is more of a tribute to fans who love a more "cpompact" flagships. I've tried Note 10 in a store and it's suprisingly easy to handle with one hand. The screen is just best in class, there's no denying it. I wanted to buy S10e, but I will seriously think about the Note 10. I've also tried handlinf the S10 and it's just doesn't feel as ergonomical as the Note 10.

  • Why this phone exists i dont know ? 90% of users who will buy note 10 will not buy this one, for less battery and no sdcard slot or 3,5mm jack? THen u might aswell for same or less money buy it the s10+ which is better in all ways.... samsungs logic to make 2 phones where both imo sucks is beyond me....

  • Hello, I'm looking to purchase this phone as an upgrade from my old, laggy Huawei P10. How is the battery life on this phone compared to the competition? How much of Screen On Time are you guys getting?

  • I have received my device today, everything is perfect except whenever making a call there is a green tinge on screen near selfie camera, has anyone else facing this issue?

  • Samsung: We had to remove audio jack to increase the battery capacity! A fan: So why Note 9 has 4000 mAh and Note 10 3500 mAh ? Samsung: ... 🦗

  • Both are the great ones so far. As long as you do not need a stylus pen, buy S10. If you like Note series, I will try to buy Note10+.

  • Hi , Note 10 user here , We found out that is a problem , When you playing very high graphic games , the temperature will very heat on the screen not at the back , your thumbs can feel it , not sure is that too thin or battery problem !

  • The Note10 is a absolutely pointless phone. The Note9 manages to beat it in every way, and the only phone that the Note10 is equivalent to is the Note3. Samsung should’ve killed the note line with the Note9.

  • People are comparing a Note phone with Redmi K20 , S10 and so on why? None of those phones have a built in multi functional pen . Note series has no competition and S pen users have no alternative. Also those who saying display is better on k20 pro that is absolutely wrong K20 display looks garbage even compared to Note 5 . Note 10 has dynamic Amoled .Even though , resolution is 1080p only it has more colors and is more vibrant i have compared it side by side to the Note 9 . Note 9 display looks dull and muted compared to 10 or 10+.

  • do post the battery review once you get it

  • Should I go for s10 or note 10....My priority is battery backup and longivity (i mean updates).....I want to use atleast 4-5 years.....which will be the best option?

  • No Card Slot, what a rubbish phone.

  • This is too expensive, display still FHD+.

  • The S10e is a diminute lil thingy, specially if you are considering a note phone.

  • I wanted to buy a Note 10 (base model) but after the specs i've seen and the price i will buy or a S10, S10e, Note 9, A6+ or S8.

  • Non-removable Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery is not a good idea even with 6.3 LCD and the price is an expensive if i decide to buy it i will add 150 Euro and get Galaxy note 10+

  • Best looking phone with practically zero bezel...and 256 GB is great. Speakers are very good too. But still bigger than my S10, and i have no usage of S-pen. So will wait for S11, if needs be.

  • What are you talking about? speak in full sentences if you want to tell something...

  • Sorry! I can move the cable of usb up and down

  • I have Notes 9, usb type c weakened from the first month,Now I can move it up and down, There were differences in the color of the screen, The fingerprint sensor has deteriorated since the second week,Now it's full of small scratches

  • s10/10+ beats this crap... and is cheaper

  • depends on my daily situation.. im working person and stay (rent) a house together with my friends.. they are the type of who uses any charger they see regardless who own the charger.. most of the time i couldnt use my own charger so i have to use whatever charger available.. i also dont know their chargers are original or fake.. im tired of telling them not to use my charger everyday but they dont listen.. sometimes i hide my charger but i couldnt hide it forever.. haha

  • No 3.5mm? I will stick with my Note 8, bye...

  • I really loved this note (note10) because of its size. All the specs I am ok with except the micro-sd option, which is really unustified at all. I really could understand why did they remove the micro-sd support from this device, since the note10+ is having higher specs anyway and people who want it will buy it. Just by removing the micro-sd from the note10 you leave no option for customers to choose. Which is a bad strategy. Or at least they could've introduce two options of internal memories 256 and 512 for the note10. I hope Samsung is hearing our voices.

  • Okay, regarding point 1 safety issue, I've seen a total of 4 of these stories, there are lack of details although it's obvious that the chargers were fake, a fire hazard & a shock hazard, but enough to be fatally electrocuted is highly unlikely, we can't say impossible because we don't know the facts or even enough details, but NEVER use fake chargers!, only use authorised chargers, ie, the one supplied with the device that meets all the safety regulations. Maybe in a couple of these stories the devices were plugged into unprotected circuits, most likely the power supply bypassed the meter & the mains consumer board containing RCD'S/ circuit breakers (not the old fuse type) that trip out if there's any mAmp imbalance, the type that trip out when a bulb/ lamp blows. For anyone that does still have the old fuse type consumer unit, it's a good idea to get it upgraded, in the meantime, you can buy a RCD to plug your charger into. If you have the genuine charger & you have RCD protective then there's nothing to worry about. Snopes did a fact check into these stories:

  • After exploring samsung promodesk today, that phone was the best choice. It feels very good in hand, feels lighter then you may expect, works perfectly and his sound was best in line. Maybe they throw tuned samples of phones to desk, and in real world it is not so good? Maybe. I found it out, when this phone will cost under 700€.

  • This phone exists so you come to the obvious conclusion that the note 10+ is a better deal and spend the extra cash on that. Nice try, samsung.

  • A rip-off I would call it, apple invented the 1K "pay more get less" phone, people don't let samsung turn into the same. Seriously, samsung could really become a rotten apple in the high end if YOU let them, just you see how well they behave in the low to mid ranges where the chinese phones are a threat, decent phones with no missing features or poor batteries for a decent price for the most part. The galaxy S6, best samsung could do at the time with a 1440p screen was priced "dangerously high" at $699 as viewed by forbes when that phone came out: We as comsumers need to stop the abuses (started by apple of course) by voting with our wallets.

  • logically this is not a good buy at 950 euros cause the display is only 1080 - ...

  • If you live in Europe buy the A90 since it has a snapdragon...

  • No IR blaster

  • why u didnt create your own smartphone? just no headphone is not a big deal at all . not the end this world lol

  • Heart Rate how to read if you put the phone on Table or somewhere?

  • So called iSheep now has a true alternative to apple, they now can get an highly expensive low resolution screen, bad battery, no SD, no 3.5mm cutie phone from Samsung!!

  • oh God just read that the Heart rate monitor is not present on this device. My bad.

  • and the dxomark for the note 10 plus (im guessing the cameras are same on both with the difference in amount of lenses) is top of the chart

  • no big deal hardware wise, gotta invest more in cloud storage/ USB OTG devices and dongle for the 3.5mm but for the hardware you get it's worth a consideration. Had the XR/ Xs Max supported stylus this would be different.

  • one ui is light, this has s-pen, heart rate monitor, two promised software updates, premium build, 8gbs of ram paired to the latest Exynos / SD beast, 1080p (ok too low but compared to the XR it's decent.) amoled, and the 3500mah is larger than that found in the Note8, but i do think this deserves to be called the Note10e the same way the 1080p small version of the S10 was the s10e

  • @CptPower would disagree with you xD

  • this is missing an DS Card, otherwise I would have switch my s10. never been a fan of the huge size of the note previously, now this one aligns with the S series I want it. but the missing SD card is a killer, I'm not moving my data ever year and losing my photos timestamp, until android figures out this poor transfer experience and be like iPhone, an SD card is a must especially for photos. and no the cloud doesn't count. I want my originals without giving my data.

  • The Note9 Latam N9600 has radioFM.

  • Thanks Samsung now we can't make fun of apple fans any more about loosing head phone jack

  • About FM-radio, it says "FM radio (USA & Canada only)". Why only there? I have stayed away from Samsung flagships since Galaxy S3, because it was the latest having FM-radio. Data stream radios are OK, but they do not replace FM-radio when one does not have unlimited data and when some place mobile cells are crowded and data access is limited, or in country side where there is no coverage. Seems like I am not interested in Note 10 either here in Europe. I just bought Lenovo tablet because it had FM-radio. Samsung somehow hates FM-radios. Also not having 3.5mm audio output is a stupid decision. Bye bye Samsung.

  • I am starting to call this Note10e from now

  • 512GB ROM/12GB RAM variant missing in Samsung Galaxy Note 10???

  • in my country note 10 price is similar to iphone xr.. not the xs.. and im buying phones to feed my needs and not other's need.. for the battery part.. you tell me which phone does not need to be charged after used? 5 to 6 hours heavy usage battery life is good enough.. as i use my phone mostly during weekend.. im working on weekdays so im not using my phone very much.. the features in the note 10 satisfy me the most..

  • No sd card , no audio Jack, very small battery, another terrible phone from Samsung.

  • You find yourself settling for this and then settling for that (whatever you don't use it anyways) and paying $950 (like iphone customers are *so* used to), good luck with the small battery, a samsung A20 has better battery than this LOL, samsung is going to smile every time they sell one of these.

  • Only for display..another specs are already better than the s10 plus

  • so..there are 2 major positives: - Mi9-like fast charging both wired and wireless (Finally) - Relatively light (168g), actually lighter than flagship of the year Mi9 However: - no SD card (what? in Samsung?) - no jack = no music as you can't plug in external reader with headphones So i keeps S10. Hope they don't delete this from S11.

  • Lenovo z6 pro had 3.5mm jack and bigger bettery and SD card Samsung said this not work lol sanpdragon 855 stronger than the 2020 Samsung Chip's

  • s10/10+ beats this crap... and is cheaper

  • • Currently I am using Note FE (7), only because it was the smallest Note up to now. • I am always using the screen in FHD, never needed QHD, didn't get any extra benefit. • 64GB Internal + 64GB MicroSD is always enough for me, so 256GB is very sufficient. • S-pen is very important for me, not only for taking notes but also because I can use mouse-over feature when browsing the internet. • I don't like to use phones with width larger than 73mm. • IR blaster was a nice feature back then but admittedly I only used it ones or two, that's all. (With my Note Pro 12.3) • I have never used the heart rate sensor, oxygen sensor, etc. on my phone, ever. • Therefore, Note 10 is perfect for me except the headphone jack. • I can feel the difference between the wired audio and bluetooth unless it uses aptX HD protocol and I think Exynos version of Note 10 that I can buy here in Europe will not support aptX HD. When reading the comments here, I felt that I am the only one feeling like I have written above.

  • I am currently using S9+ (256 GB) and it seems a little too big for single hand use and another problem was not too fast charging so i was searching for a compact phone like 152 mm max length and with at least 20W charging, here in India Note 10 was available for Pre Order on 8th of August and for 2 days i gave a serious thought about Pre booking this phone and then finally on 10th August I have Pre book the Aura Glow color. I have never used SD card on my S9+ and never used 3.5 mm jack while charging so these two points are no deal breaker for me and for cost there is INR 6000 cash back is applicable on HDFC credit card EMI's so that's enough for me and one more thing there is not much difference in QHD & FHD screen in daily use, in fact FHD will same some battery, so now i am eagerly waiting for 23rd August.

  • This is what I'm saying. We are the target user for this device. I came from an LG V30 to a Note9 and the V30 had a big screen but I could still use it with one hand fairly easily. Not possible on Note9, it's too big and too heavy. With Note10 we get a device with almost the same dimensions and weight as something like a V30 which will make it easier to handle and hopefully even usable one-handed, but we get the 6.3 inch screen, we get the s-pen, we get the features (all the really important ones anyway). This is looking like a great phone. August 23rd can't come soon enough.

  • the note 9 is a brick

  • so you are one of the three peopld who zctuslly used the stress/oxygen sensor?

  • If they want me to shelve $300 more bucks from this no SD CARD, small battery, 1080p, and no 3.5mm jack travesty..... Ummmm no thanks!!!

  • Had it in my hands today and I must say it's a good looking and very nicely sized. But it's missing two major things for me, the heart rate sensor and the headphone jack.

  • That is actually a speaker.

  • no iris sensor.. no face sensor.. no led notification... no stress/cardio sensor... not last SoC 855+... with a cheap stylus and not Android One .. The US version seem to be only one sim too and no infrared... but the Price look like this phone have ...

  • If xiaomi or huawei did remove 3.5 mm jack and micro SD their fanboys will refer this as a developpement, and mock anyone who wants them back. But personnaly, IDC about flagships, I have A50 with an 4000 mAh battery+ mico SD+3.5 mm jack :P

  • I am getting this phone 3 month later (end of october) as a birthday gift to myself.. regardless of others opinion, i think this phone is perfect and suit my need the most.. 1) i do not use earphone while charging (safety issue) - earphone with usb c adapter is good enough for me 2) the only mobile game i usually play is pubg.. as long as this phone can play hdr graphic with extreme fps.. its good enough.. and hopefully note 10 will not encounter fps drop issue like s10 since note 10 use exynos 9825 (not 9820) 3) FHD screen resolution is enough for me - i dont see much difference when the screen is qhd or fhd.. plus fhd will absolutely reduce power consumption on note 10 (battery last longer) 4) i love the s pen especially the gestures function - i can write memo on the screen/can take picture with the rear camera without asking help from other people.. i can eat without touching the screen (just use the s pen to move my screen.. lol) 5) the camera quality is good enough.. i love super steady video on the s10 and note 10.. i dont need 50x zoom tbh.. lol 6) 90.9 screen to body ratio.. no significant chin and just a punch hole in the middle.. im gonna love this phone like crazy 7) note series have many hidden feafures.. i can learn from youtube videos later on.. haha

  • I think it has an IR Sensor/Blaster

  • Ok k20 pro has basically the same screen size and resolution and almost $600 cheaper.

  • I don't know where to start, even the screen on Note 4 is better than this device, is the battery a little bigger than Note 8, can it last half a day? And the price is more expensive than Note 9, I don't want to review 3.5mm jack and micro sd card, this is very difficult because I have to wait a long time for this disappointing device

  • Excellent in size

  • i have mi k20 pro for the half of the price and with better display and battery.. same cpu storage and ram.. samsung you are same as the apple.. nothing new

  • Iris scanner is really useful, if you never used it that's fine, but don't say no one uses it if you don't know.

  • Have ever been to iPhone service station, they will treat you like golden sheep then charge you bomb for no brainer. Samsung phones loose value in 3 months to half. Why any body with sense do loose money in 3 months...why. I have cheap feeling about Chinese phones, until I own note 5pro. It's been one year plus, no stopping, not slowing. Mi has best customer services than any brand in India. You want to bet on it? Like I say Flagship are made for money throwing.

  • Lol the feature on the spen is way more functional than what the note8 has to offer. And you haven't own the note 10 but you already know the battery is bad? Plus, the videocamera performance is a few step better which you choose to avoid. Microsd card is negligible when you have ufs3.0 256gb. It's also slimmer in size which makes it easier to hold. Maybe you guys just focus on hardware, but the software certainly has the upperhand over the note 8 hands down

  • Yes, choosing the Note 9 over the Note 10 is a no-brainer. Even the S10 is better despite not having an S-pen

  • Most people doesn't even care about speed, people cared about the storage instead.

  • 1080p display is downgrade from note 9, but 1080p display make battery last longer than 1440p

  • This phone should be called Note 10e and Note 10+ should be called Note 10.

  • Everyone who wants to buy note 10 should consider getting note 9 instead

  • floppy disk fade out because people got better external storage device. u r logic about SD card card with phone memory completely meaning less. if cloud and data transfer technology of after 10 years may be...but not now

  • Well said. The regular Note 10 should be avoided

  • clearly upgrading from a note 8 to this is a ... downgrade. 1. micro SD support = no 2. headphone jack = no 3. Design = worse 4. S pen = not that much difference 5. lower ppi display 6. battery life as bad as the note8

  • Guess what those features you see missing are also missing in the iphone, you need to learn to think like rich people do LOL. If this phone is to compete with iPhone it must be made as close as possible to it.

  • Ummm in my experience owning a Note 8, transferring files via OTG using Kingston/Sandisk/Transcend 3.1 Gen 1 Flashdrives is hella slow and even overheats the flashdrive that even further lowers the transfer rate down to 5-8mb. Sooo nooo!!!

  • USB 3 from a UFS storage to a UFS is way much faster than a U3 card to whatever. The SD card advantage is that you don't have to deal with transferring at all. I had the first Samsung U3 card, and I can tell you. After 1.5 years the speed degrades so bad it's at 10-16MB . And the 10 rating they have puts them as 10MB guaranteed. Which sucks. I replaced it with a newer one. But SD cards are not reliable for the long run . Cheap SD cards are even worst. Probably why android performs worst than iPhones in day to day.

  • With all the absence in Note 10, my Note 9 is still in my arms...maybe note 11 will be better next year 😁😁

  • Do you even know how slow it is to transfer files over OTG compared to Directly Contected SDCARDs that are nowadays rated @U3 or V20 w/ transfers speed of upto 40-90mbps on wellknown brands for 4k Recording? heck in the future 8k recording.

  • No value of flagship phones unless if you’re using some crappy Chinese phones. In case of iPhone and Samsung there’s a value (yeah Samsung flagship phones losses value after 6 months to 8 months of use) other android phones looses value within 3 month and it’s not all about phone itself as I mentioned before it’s about customers services, updates, built quality and most important availability of phone spare parts like screen, motherboard and other staff including phone accessories

  • every 4 models they remove the sd note 5 note 10 note 15

  • this statement is very true

  • changing the resolution in settings only changes the sharpness of text and size of icons. meaning it changes the dpi.........but it can never change the ppi which is a hardware thing , not software.....quad HD display or full hd display is hardware, not software. using s9 in 1080p is not the same as using a 1080p display phone

  • after using s8....use something lower and you will realise the difference. see upgrading to higher PPI is no difference...........but downgrading will make everything look blur

  • Yes I agree, except 4 and 5, I don't care about IR remote since I don't use it, and the battery is not yet tested. The rest is rather a disappointment. My Note8 stays.

  • Those who are satified with this mobile, Plz Click on Became A Fan in GSMARENA...

  • Agree. Samsung put a lot of extra functions in the s-pen which are too much of a gimmick. It's nice to use once, twice or maybe a handful of times, after that you'll forget about it. The only good things I use are translation, magnifying, signing documents, make notes with screen off memo, and occasionally making a drawing or use the Pen Up app with it. I can imagine using the pen for making pictures comes in handy like the Note9 already had, the rest is just meh in my opinion.

  • I wish you never get a situation to sell your 2 month old phone emergency money. Then you will realise how is the resale value. I bet you will loose 75% value. I can buy a phone which has all missing in note or Isheep phones. Still have money to buy 20grams of gold. If I sell that gold in 2 month's I will get more money my a new phone worth profit. I see no value in flagship phones, who thinks about resale value

  • That if you think people cares about your sad card and 3.5 jack if people cares about these staff as you think then why iPhone sells well? It’s all about performance, looks of the phone, update, built quality and most important resale value and services that offer you parts with easy and Samsung the only Android phone that offer these staff in one package.

  • If you looking for IR go buy a Chinese phone.

  • All android OEM’s following iPhone and soon SD card going to die it’s about time same as floppy disk .

  • The only down side the size of note 10 other than that it’s better in every single way than note 9. Used note 9 for couple of month and try out note 10 yesterday.

  • Seems that you don’t know that Android supports OTG (USB in the go).

  • To those saying that 256GB is enough........... Ohhhhhhh I guess you dont do 4K Video Recording or Super High Res PHOTOS, bet yah 256GB would fill-up faster than you know it and I havent even including how BLOATED APPS are becoming now adays. Removal of SD CARD really hurts it by WHOOOPING KABOOOM!!!! I could've given a leeway if they removed 3.5mm Jack but man they are now totally copying crapple.

  • At least the note 4 has a qhd display, note 10 for 950 euro is an awful deal and you can't even say "oh but it's samsung it's gonna be 700 in 3 months". At least in my country prices don't drop half as much and guess what, 700 should've been the price at launch not after 3-6 months. 3-6 months from now there will be phones that take a dump on it priced around 700-750 so yeah, the note 10 exists solely so people look at it and then just buy the plus variant out of disgust because note 10 is abysmal value.

  • Also have you heard of T-Mobile G1 It didn't have a headphone jack back then

  • No 3.5mm jack? No sd card? battery only 3500? Very disappointing.. :(

  • God will you shut up about that nobody cares about the iris scanner anyway also Screw Fingerprint scanner use a freaking password

  • Note 4 hahahahah

  • I dont understand what is with headphone jack. I use it daily in Gym to plug-in my phone to music system, sometimes my bose headphone when battery is low. WHY REMOVE IT?? its looks like pure downgrade.... 1. no heart rate sensor. 2. no head phone jack. 3. No IRIS scanner, I used to use it when my hand is wet or busy. 4. No IR remote. thought they will bring it back. 5. bad battery. 6. Failed screen in 2019 standard. this was samsung main USP, but now ROG and oneplus have better screen. I will stick with my note 9 for some time. and I hope they get back to there senses.

  • No sd card????? Seriously Samsung?? Why do u follow iphone. Android is all about sd card..

  • No SDCARD, No Jack, still that stupid Curved Edge-Edge screen..... And overpriced....... No thanks..... Sticking to my tried and true Note 4.

  • Thanks, no vr compatibility is big no for me. And headphones jack

  • Interesting point of view, radiation, before I don't thinking that. Thanks. If I can minimizing I will do that. Holy 3,5 inc Jack

  • Is also available in Aura Red and Pepto Pink.

  • You wakeup with Bluetooth, many preferring no radiation wakeup. What people loose mind because 2019?! Lol

  • I thought the same, but stupidity giving less asking more theory makes Xiaomi valuable than any crap sheep buys

  • Absolutely. Many Chinese phones win love from now on..

  • Battery and removal of jack. What a master stroke, you will sell millions less now..to me Samsung flagship is over

  • Few years ago, Note series considered as large phone, now it is a normal size phones, lol

  • Its disappointing.to have an older note and wait for note 10 all this time, skipping s9+,note 9,s10+, thinking that you want a big upgrade,so you keep using your old note saying that its ok,i waited all this time so i can wait for august 2019 when the new and mighty note 10 is launched.i cant possibly be let down by the note 10.its the poweruser phone.it has everything and more.it will be a big upgrade in every category. Aaaaand samsung decides to troll you. I mean they remove the headphone jack firt time ever

  • They are just following the greed of apple they removed these features to have a higher profit Samsung fanboys are still gonna buy it even if it's shit even it costs them less than note 9

  • A couple of things I use very often, the heart rate sensor and the 3,5mm headphone jack are both missing on the Note10. So I keep my Note8. They say they remove the headphone jack to put in a larger battery. If they can include a complete stylus, there's room for a headphone jack too. The S10 and S10+ both came with the heart rate sensor, so why not include it in the Note series, that is supposed to be superior in every way? I have a very difficult time recommending the 2019 Note series over the (cheaper) 2019 S series, were it not that I use the S-pen so often and hardly can without it. My hopes are on the Note11.

  • Reasons you shouldn't buy this phone: 1. No headphone jack. 2. No microsd. 3. Less resolution than the Note 4. 4. No notification led. 5. No Gear VR compatibility. 6. No heart rate sensor. 7. Lower battery (3500mah) than Note 9 (4000mah). 8. MORE EXPENSIVE. 8. Not a single innovation. Even Oneplus presented a smartphone with 90hz amoled display. Meanwhile Asus Rog Phone II includes: 2 headphones jack, 2 usb input, 6,000 mah battery, 120 hz oled display ... so, there are no excuses. This may be the worst release of a samsung smartphone.

  • No headphone jack. On that plane journey, they tell people bluetooth headsets are not allowed as phones have to be in 'flight mode'. Bluetooth headsets require charging. More things to worry about.... Non-removable batteries. Nice way to destroy re-sale value of old phones.

  • Bluetooth earbuds deliver subpar sound quality compared to wired (3.5mm jack)... Imaging buying a thousand dollar phone only to get a subpar sound quality or decent quality (type c) at the expense of charging...

  • No headphone jack and no SD card = FAIL .... in my book. But, people are going to buy this. Target customer for this device has enough money to buy expensive Bluetooth buds. He doesn't care about sub-par sound quality. He also uses streaming services and cloud storage so no SD card needed. ... The main focus here is build quality and productivity. And Samsung maybe nailed that. And of course - great camera. Everyone loves great camera! (I prefer great sound over camera, but I'm minority) .... I hope customers would punish Samsung for ditching jack and card, but that probably won't happen. If Apple can pull off some nasty garbage, so can Samsung :/

  • This is a shockingly bad model from Samsung. Basically, its a placeholder up sell unit for the public to look at and then say, "Oh, OK, well I guess I should spend the extra 150 and get the Note 10 + then because this one has no SD card, headphone jack or above 1080p high resolution display". Look, im a big fan of the Note range as I had the original Galaxy Note and I loved it but aint no way in hell am I about to pony up a Gr££d plus for this thing. If they do not stop following Apple down this rabbit hole, they are going to get a real nasty shock in the not so distant future. It goes without saying I am very disappointed with Samsungs lack of vision.

  • Would you rather buy this or S10+?

  • Disappointing. NO headphone jack. No SD card. NOPE!

  • Correct naming should be: Note 10 and Note 10e

  • This phone is almost 1000 dollars it should've been included. If a phone costs 1 grand it should have more features not less.

  • Huawei is still a chinese crap . It would allways be that . It looks like a chinese crap. When china would make somethink of quality not for numbers it would be the end of the world.

  • I would take note 10 any day over Xiamio crap.

  • I gotta say this regular note 10 is a bit let down should have the same spec sheet with the bigger or it should not existed at all. Look at the price! 950 is pretty much a RIP OFF for these kind of spec. Lesser battery than the note 9, no 90hz screen, 1080p is okay but should expect 1440p for this price range. Even ROG 2 with the cheaper price has more goodies & bigger battery than this, One+ 7 pro even cheaper is better than this, even K20 Pro aka Poco 2 basically the same spec tier is much better. Regular note 10 should have never existed, or at least samsung should put the same cameras setup like the bigger one + same res screen but still with this smaller form factor. Otherwise its a big joke, better get the bigger one and skip the regular note 10.

  • K20 Pro >note 10

  • resolution low? why?????? i love best performance pixel oled........oh no very very bad

  • This by far the fastest Note line to date since there’s no SD card and 1080P OLED battery life and performance going to be very good.

  • Why because no SD card and no headphone jack?!. Wake up this the end of 2019 not 2016 lol.

  • That if Huawei ban left.

  • Same width and thickness as my dad's J5 2015. Using a Nokia 3410, 49mm wide, 22.5mm thick, amazing phone.

  • I agree

  • Hope Huawei rape Samsung in sales as well as with Apple and users won't be so brain dead to buy 1000 $ crap phones. S10+ or Note 8/9 are a better buy, also a P30 Pro when the Mate 30 Pro appears, not to mentions the Mate 20 Pro which is cheap for what it can do.

  • i agree.. 3500mah on a note ? are they insane? it should have been min 4000mah and higher.. and no sdcard slot or 3,5mm .. sorry but this phone is not worth its price.

  • "Proper Note users don't care about listening to music over wired headphones, they can afford Bluetooth." You are missing the point. "The people moaning probably never buy the Note anyway." Thats not true. Now you are talking nonsense.

  • Hands down the worst samsung device of 2019.

  • samsung note 10 no micro sd no 3.5mm audio jack , no fm rds radio , no ir blasterspirrra

  • Because you have the smaller s8.. and in my s8 plus it is pretty noticeable. I mean why won't anyone be able to notice? It's pretty huge downgrade even though in specs it might not seem so. In VR FullHD is absolutely horrible. It magnifies the image by 5 times approx. So in VR 80 PPI vs 100-120ppi is huge

  • I have an s8 and there is absolutely almost no difference between qhd and fhd.

  • NO to Galaxy 10

  • Why no sd card A big mistake by samsung

  • So this is a model for those who either lack some money for Note series phone, but want to have the S-pen or for those who prefer smaller phone. Irony is that Note10+ costs just around 10-15% more, so it's arguably better buy. New S-pen funcionality and also things made possible by cooperating with Microsoft are awesome. But this is Basically S10 with an S-pen and a tad bit faster/more efficcient chipset. However, the S10 still has the headphone jack, heart rate sensor and SpO... also an SD slot...

  • can the ultrawide angle camera shoot in 4k60fps? Cuz the samsung s10's ultrawide angle camera can't.

  • I would purchase my first Samsung smartphone@Note 10!I am coming...

  • this is the end of note series for me... it was started with the note 3 but now Samsung killed it with this featureless device. no headphone jack i can manage somehow but no micro SD card with powerful camera is Big NO NO. the Note 10+ is too big to be used

  • no microsd no 3.5mm jack LOL. and so many years passed samsung still no gestures control matching apple or even chinese manufacturers.

  • Front cam aperture bad. Atleast it should be 2.0...and battery also bad

  • Could have made it an 8k or 4k screen aka Sony xperia x1

  • I personally use my s9+ in 1080p mode all the time, however the extremely low pixel density is kind of a letdown (considering the s4 had a higher ppi)

  • True. This phone is going backwards. No big battery no head phone jack. Finally I never buy notes ever. They are out of my desired list.

  • You're talking nonsense. You get more storage, most won't even need the SD card slot, and it's not as fast as internal storage anyway. You get more RAM than last year, a better SoC than last year, more and better cameras, more software features and a better form factor. The removal of the headphone jack is so overblown, it's just embarrassing to see all the moaning. Proper Note users don't care about listening to music over wired headphones, they can afford Bluetooth. The only downgrade is the display to 1080p, but Samsung set their phones to that anyway, and many people keep it on that setting. The A50 has a larger display and looks amazing even at 1080p, so it doesn't matter. The people moaning probably never buy the Note anyway.

  • yesss as ex user note 9 i was glad i pick xperia 1 for upgrade.. by the way the desain note 10 is good IF the notch disappear

  • This model can basically throw into the trash.

  • 1080p resolution.... lol! My old Galaxy Note 4 even got 1440p resolution.

  • It has 256gb as a base, what more could you want? Its already plenty to store many pics and vids, unless you want to store your (lenny face) collection in your sd card.

  • Agree, that's why I will skip the Note 10 or Note 10+ and keep the Note8 for the 3rd year.

  • It's time for other android smartphones to hide.

  • How about black shark 2 pro?

  • Aside from the camera's, CPU, and charging, this is almost a pure downgrade to the Note 9.

  • Hahaha

  • Why no microsd slot!!!

  • Note 10 has less battery than note 9 no headphone jack no sd card slot no iris scanner no heart rate sensor less resolution and hole. This is clearly a downgrade

  • if you are using s9 plus or note 9 dont upgrade to note 10 but go for 10 plus.......coz you cant go backward from quad hd 1440p to full hd 1080p display on note 10......it will look blur and your eyes wont adjust. once you go higher you cant go lower

  • 950 dollars for a 1080p display. Samsung should have done better with the screen resolution.

  • The footprint and screen to body ratio is great. But I feel like they cut so many things compares to the plus version. Sad. I was waiting for this model but it doesn't check my boxes, I might wait a bit longer for the vanilla Mate 30.

  • Is SpO2 sensor really exist on this phone?

  • 950 euros for this??? are you serious samsung??? its ridiculous, huawei pls beat this brand

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.... ARE THEY SERIOUS....... this is the downfall of NOTE .... ( just kidding) but this device does not cover my preferences, so the long wait was for nothing! Can I think of PROS ?!?!? Hmmmm, well, errrmm, ummm, ъъъъ&;#1098;ъъъ, .. pstt HELP ME ?!?!

  • Design : not Bad Battery with thèse size screen 3500 very Bad No jack no Card slot Overpriced Not worth it i rather go with 10+ or rog 2 or k20 pro

  • The screen to body ratio is amazing! Hats off for this! I wonder why they did get rid of the micro SD card slot, and why no bigger battery.

  • CONS: 1. No Card Slot 2. No 3.5" Audio Port 3. 3500mAh Li-Ion Battery 4. HUGE Price!!! Hmm..... Thanks, but I am NOT buying this, for sure!!!
