You need data cable to transfer images into computer , also you need program PIMS and File manager and set up language in program and in phone to English.

it is a really good phone, it survived all kinds of abusing :) except a camera, connection wire is broken, i was spinning it too much :D. using it for more than 5 years and still do, battery lasts long as first day.

this was my first phone and i have had it for 6 years now and i have never had a problem. i dropped it in puddles, spilt drinks on it and yanked the battery out many a time and it has carried on working! my camera broke a little while ago but the phone is still going strong!!

I had this phone for 4 years already, and 1 day, i accidentally dropped it onto our sink full of water and when i went to the mall to get it fixed coz it died, i dropped it twice on the floor and this is seriously an honest experience...i realized that the battery had a problem...so i just kept on charging and charging it for a week and it started to work again same as before...BEST PHONE EVER!!!!X600 will always survive!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this wonderful phone for 3,5 years and I'm only changing it coz my grandfather's older phone got crushed and he wants this one for him. Nothing is wrong with it, even the battery still lasts at least 3,5 days. I have now a Nokia N73 wich I'd recomend to all of you. Best phone, best deal!

It was supposed to be a good phone, so easy and simple, but the camera of my x600 is dead and after 2nd year it started restarting. and by the third year its restarting rate has reached an awesome "100 restarts per day". But my uncles same model is still as good as new.

i have had this fone about three years now. it was an awesome fone. pity that it has now started crashing on a regular basis, about 20 times a day. camera was brilliant for wat it was, user interface was simple and easy, features were great. but not being able to turn it on cause it keeps crashing is a real pain in the ....! the battery is still very reliable even after three years of constant use. keypad still works like new. it is a very durable fone. only prob is the crashing. oh well back to using nokia.

This is a gr8 fone. I hav had it for 3 years now and it is still working 100% altough it fell a whole lot of times. The only problem from the 1st day was the infra red. it won't work and it is so annoying.

I use this phone now for 4 years. Camera works good. No problems with anything. ONLY the phone dies sometimes just like that and restarts again.. kinda frustrating.. but I really love the model of the phone.. when you get used to it you can't let it go..

I've had my phone for more than 2yrs now and it's still working really great. The only problem I've had with it is the restart, which started 2-3 months ago, but has now stopped, don't really know why, but I'm not complaining ;) It's a great phone with lots of functions and I have really been using it maximally.

Usually this happens when data ribbon cable which connects the camera & the main board gets disconnected by a damaged cable. If you use your camera too much (By rotating the camera ) this happens. Poor design.

It's a good looking phone but it's camera is really useless. It can be anytime spoiled. I have got repaired my phone twice but still it's camera is not working and the cost of its repair is very high. But it is having a good talktime and stand by time. But i hav shifted to nokia.

I have been using this phone for approx 2 yrs now. Its still going strong, given the fact that it must have fallen down 40 times. I even got completely soaked in rain once and this phone was still working (only the keypad got jammed, got it fixed at samsung service center) My personal experience tells me that it is a very sturdy and robust phone. Nice features for small segment.

My X600 is 17months old and still counting. its a rugged samsung with multi-functionality. Fondling with the revolving camera breaks the cord and causes the preview error. I'll post a final comment next month when i migrate to siemens S75 and give my X600 a retirement.

I had some of the same problems with this phone, had it for about 7months when the camera broke, all the screen showed was ablur, took it in and it got fixed, then it started to freeze, took it in, it got fixed, then it would turn on and off, took it in and it got fixed, then all three broke so i brought a new phone. its a snazzy phone for the short term but its not very reliable in the long run.

i am a fan of Samsung mobiles and when i say this phone i knew i had to get it!it worked fine for about 6-8 months then my camera broke!it would just stay green no matter what i tried to do!then it started to switch off randomly when it was in my pocket or just lying on the table!i would say that if you were one of those people who changed there phone every few months then this is a good phone for you!but i would suggest that you look a little harder to what other mobiles Samsung has to offer!

hi. this is a good one from samsung. other options may not be that exceptional, but i can assure u that its camera is fantastic! actually, it has so many options that u can't find in most of the camera phones. other options r okay. but the negetive side is, its VERY hard to communicate with other phones via i.r. n there's no video camera. display and sound is nice. so overall its a nice phone

i brought this fone as a replacment (on O2 P.A.Y.G) for my Nokia 3200(?) cos i couldnt get on with the thing, used it for 7mts untill upgrade till, got the worst fone ever made the MOTOROLA V635! using the x600 again till april 2006! absolutly bomb proof! droped, kicked and kicked sum more! txtin is a pain as if you miss hit the '3' button you delete the message!!!! (problem on all samsungs!) also keep away from the samsung P510!

After simple use of my new X600 handset faced an uniqe problem, this set getting restarted again and again during switching it to ON, making call, receving call,going to menu's. etc. etc. And consequently it was sent to some samsung service centre through an authorised service dealer in Assam. service agent was replaced the mother board. But still I faced the same problem. It is being worthles to me to decide to purchase this model. Hence I request anyone , including service dealers who can solve the problem if there in actual to serve.

been using this phone for the past 14 months, last 12 months the phone worked without a glitch, then on the 13th month after the warranty expired the camera just went kaput, went to the samsung service center for repairing, was shell shocked, they said they have to replace the camera and it would cost me Rs 3000 when the phone itself costs a little over Rs 8000, so I have decided to dispose off this phone and buy a SE K750i, I have mixed reaction about this phone, it has served me well for almost a year!!

this phone likes to hang and always restart. u can't assign ringtones that u've downloaded to ur contacts. U can only assign it as default melody. And it doesn't vibrate and ring at de same time. Camera flash works more like a mini torch light. No second hand value. Bought it for Rm990 and after one year using.... can only trade in for Rm300 max. I'm dissapointed wif Samsung... very dissapointed

well, i find this phone very nice, looking at its features and display and all. BUT, there is a big but!!! He keeps hanging and i can't seem to get it fixed. I've already brought it to two places to repair this very enoying error or as I call it a "sickness" of this phone. I think this problem was caused when it fell, but that was just one time. And I still can't believe that that one time made the phone go psycho. I've also tried to replace the software, but still not good. Is there somebody outthere who can really help me with this sick problem. And for me it's a big loss cause i've only had it for 5 months and already it's giving me a headache. And the price I paid for this phone was $225,- and that's a lot of money for me. So please can anybody help me!!!!!!!!

Ali, u are very right when u say that we have been cheated with this set. My sets cam has gone out of order, and now its become impossible for me to get rid of this set, as no one wants it. Very poor reputation in the market due to the hanging problem, a hallmark of this model, and with a bad cam, it won't even sell for peanuts. this is my first and last samsung phone, for this decade at least.

When I bought this phone back in september, I thought I had the best in the market. This is basically a camera with a phone, not the other way round with very good resolution pictures, 180 degree rotatable lens ( for all you narcisists out there), 9MB memory and a good display. The sound is also good. Apart from these you are basically stuck with a very boring phone (The games suck and the ones you can download via WAP equally do so). I found this out when I had to dispose it off for all the trouble it was causing, restarting by itself and a very slow WAP browser.If any Samsung guy is reading this, they owe us an apology for cheating on us and the financial losses we have been through.I know many guys in this forum are very happy with it but pleeeease...dont keep it for more than 4 months...there may be exceptions but overall it has been misbehaving at one point or the other. This phone should had been recalled back to the factory long ago. Theres not much you can do with the camera except for watching the snaps over and over again till you have to delete them for want of space.And plus...it doesent support videos and animations. Believe me people. You can have ten times more fun in the same price...get a SE K500i...you won't be sorry.

I loved the phone until it started acting up. No problem with the camera..its one of the best available...but the phone kept restarting again...some problem with the power supply I suspect....However I had to get rid of it as long as someone offered some good money for it...I had to sell it at 60% of the priginal price for only a 5 month old mobile...No one wanted to buy it...so bad has its reputation become...However I added a little extra and bought myself a SE K500i and am now one happy man. One advice...the X600 is great but has problems...get rid of it before no one wants it.

I am unable to use IRDA facility. The features column indicates that it is to be replaced by bluetooth. Can anybody help on this? The IRDA is active only for a minute. Can abybody or Samsung help in correcting the situation. The local shop persons are unable to comment on this.

This phone is very good. Everybody who buys it is in advantage because of the very good sculpure and excellent functions. I can only mention the pros of this phone because there are no cons. 1) Very good design (maybe excellent) 2) Excellent camera fuction (because of its rotation) 3) Beautiful menu graphics 4) High resolution screen 5) Not heavy 6) Nice colour 7) Good memory capacity I have just bought this cell and I am delighted with it. I think that it's much better than an old nokia I had (Nokia 3220). This is by far the best cell I've ever had in my life.

This cell phone is excellent, nice camera Good functions But there are more than one problems 1)The rotating camers is not good cause if you you use the rotation for some time ( open close it) Then the circuit board gets a pit of problem and the camera then gives preview error. 2)The volume of the downloaded ringtones is realty low.Is there a soolution to this prob 3)The handset should have supported MP3 ringtones It only supports polyphonic Totaly:the phone suck i am willing to sell the phone and buy a new one may be sony erricson or nokia They are just fine

to marius you can download the sgh-easy studio(new) from the samsung site and look for sgh-x600 model, you should buy your irda adapter from local market fully compatible with irda 1.3. now installed both softwares (follow its corresponding instructions). plug your ir adapter then put your phone near adapter by aligning the both ir sensors then it should detect and reporting your phone model otherwise it's a failure. then finally run the easy studio. please note that some funtions are not running like 'image to phone' and 'melody to phone' these were as in my case. just inform me if these functions are running in your phone.

My samsung x600 began to stuck (and restarts when receiving,making callls/sms and cell handovers) just after 2 weeks and I gave it to SRILANKA's ONE and ONLY samsung authorised repair centre.They returned me the phone with a BURNED motherbord and I had to pay Rs 16000.00( approx 160 US$) for replacing the mother bord.Even after replacing the mother bord now it gets stuck again.It is same for all types of sim cards.So I have no place to get this repaired and I cant count on Samsung repair centrefurther.The phone is good only for ringing tones and the camera.

I don't really understand that why these people from Samsung didn't include these data cable, CD softwares in their package, the reason why we ended up with these mess,looking for this and that, why like this and blah-blah. Let me clearly tell you what all is happening with my phone.I have a Samsung x600 Phone and orange prepaid card. The phone hangs only with an orange sim card(both 16k and 32 k) and not by an airtel sim card.The orange sim card which i tried on this phone work properly on other phones.I upgraded the software through an authorised samsung service centre. when the software was upgraded the phoned worked for 1 to 2 weeks and again the problem started.The problem is that the phone hangs and restarts especially when recieving calls.Why this happen with only on an x600 phone. i can't get thru with these...on page 69 of the manual says that you can format the text with their attributes combined for small/medium/large fonts with normal/underscore/etc..under the 'options' soft key, you can find, send : text : add media : preset messages : save message. but with my unit i can't find this 'text' options, the reason why i can't set my font attributes. is it maybe i bought it here in saudi? or should i have to upgrade its software? but i have no idea regarding this issue. anybody out there knows for help? please e-mail me...and thank you.

almost forgot: the transfer doesn't work evrytime(U'll encounter errors sometimes but be patient, it will work.If your phone RESETS close it and live it like that for about half an hour then try again). U CAN NOT transfer pics or ringtones from x600 to another phone model(transfering on another samsung i haven't tried because nobody i know has samsung except me:D; tried with nokia, siemens, alcatel->not working) PS: Vishal's got a point; be sure that the phone's ir is activated(it deactivates itself if U don't use it for one (1) minute) AND BE SURE THAT THE LAPTOP'S IR IS INSTALLED AND WORKING (ON BUILT-IN INFRARED U HAVE TO ACTIVATE IT FROM BIOS --LAPTOP CASE--)

so, i have an update about the freezing problem. Its probably your sim card that is bad not the phone, cause x600 is a bit fastidious about SIM cards. Try taking out your sim card, switch on th phone and type *2767*3855# (this is a FULL RESET CODE, note that it should help, but everything on your phone will be deleted including photos, images, tones, reminders, etc. So if u have a cable - backup everything u may need). After entering this code try to put a new SIM card in(if u put in the same SIM, there's a high chance that the problem will happen again.) So i gues thats all. If i know someting new, i'll post it here.

so i know the solution for the hanging problem during calls,i think. take it to a repair shop, and ask to clean the main board and see if it not cracked. I took my x600 tos amsung tech center, they cleaned the main board and its now working fine, u can also try putting in another sim card, because they said that x600, doesnt always go good with some SIM cards. I'm selling this phone (i want to buy S65) in Demnark or in Lithuania, the price is about 105-114 EUR.

i've got the same problem. dunno really what to do, i asked the man from whomi bought the phone and he said he could re-install the firmware so i hope that helps. some say that this may also be connected with the T-Mobile intro (its on my phone), so its just the problem of removing it, maybie i dunno, im going to reinstall it after a week, so ill write here if it helped or not

Great Set, You can send the pictures from the phone to the pc through a Data Cable or an Infrared Adapter. You can use the PIMS and File manager for this purpose, and u can download the pictures to ur PC, thankx

You either like this phone or hate it. I like it and think it is a Good value for the money you pay. The 640X480 pixel images captured on the phone are of good quality, mine even beats the high end nokia's on quality. The colour display of 65K is absolutely superb and the display is good for even bright lights. The phone to PC connectivity is a breeze through the infrared using Samsungs Easy Studio software. I even got a pc cable, but prefer the infrared for connectivity and transfer on the fly. The battery backup and reception quality is excellent. MMS, SMS are good and typing is a breeze. Polyphonic ringtones absolutely ROCK! Ensure you get good quality ringtones... Straight design, not a flip or slide opening design. Its USP of Camera flash is good for those realy close shots, or be innovative and use it as a torch... quite powerful at that... and very handy. Huge Memory Bank - 9MB is bigtime for a phone in this catergory, I get around 150 ringtones in it, 100 or 50 (HIGH res.) pics and much much more I am not a nokia buff having had some bad experiences with a few handsets before and my alternative in samsung works for me well as like I had already mentioned, they give good value for the money you pay, especially when I keep changing my handsets every year or so. But I guess, I will hold onto this x600 for awhile as it has got features that will hold good for more than a year. There are drawbacks in the x600, every phone does, just that in my case the postives outweighed the negatives. The drawbacks are most visibly the external antenna!!! How I wish, I could get rid of it. And the software is not very user friendly, but I have learnt to get over this soon enough. 2 Java games which will bore you soon. Download away and have fun... The standard toolsets in theare very usefull, if you use it. I dont ushually,The phone is as good as the person using it and I think my phone x600 is excellent.

SAMSUNG X600 - Its a great , scracth that an excellent phone. It has everything. MMS, Camera, ringtones, infra etc... The most imprtant thing is the camera. In few sets i have seen that quality. Such a great resolution. and also there is 9 MB of memory. I can fill it with what every I choose. I also like the phone as it has a quality- its not just a phone, its a spy phone - every spy dream. No one will know when you start capturing the scenes. But among wiht all the pros, there is also some bad sides or cons... The Battery times becomes less when you use the camera and and also the antenna, this is a new age, maybe samsung whould have made it a little bigger and put the camera in side.

Hi there , Product is good . but sales support is bad in West and south Indian market. recenrtly i ve purchased X 600 and they havenopt given me IR port and the Driver . wheras one of my friend got allthe stuff from NOKIA . Also here in trivandrum , the shop owners say...they dont get the IR port compatible with SAMSUNG....in my pursuation to get the s/w i got it purchased from PUNE and to my dismay..even that is not conmpatible with samsung..whereas it is very much compatible with NOKIA.... this could be a big factor .. killing your product even though the product is superb... pls do something...

upload and download option is used to download ur photos to PC . software used for samsung can be found on the samsung site and cable used for it is the USB cable but be sure to configure the "communication bridge between PC" in order to communicate with cell phone x600 through PC. datacable = USB data cable(compatible with X100) dont worry it will work with X600 too b.coz im using it. software = Easy Studio (4m samsung site) driver 4 datacable = Prolific USB driver this prolific is used to create a communication bridge b/w PC cell fone.

samsumg X600 is a good mobile but without any cam warranty. the software for it is not so good as compared to Pc_link of nokia. operator logos cant be recieved.if mistakenly fell down cam wont work again. cant change its casing easily. no bluetooth tech. the only thing that is good in x600 is the cam with its outstanding flash. it gives a charm and excellent outlook.

Well, i have cheched follwoing samsung models like C 100 , x100 and x600 none of them interact with other brand of phone by infrared . Other brands of phone do not behave like this if you use thier infrared port to communicate between them

For uploading pics to the computer first of all download the 68 MB software from the samsung site. Then if u live in bangalore, go to the National Market, there u get this Chinese made data cable, can be used for both X600 and E700. I am using this for the past month or so, and having no problems at all. The pics look great on the PC.

Hi! Everyone. I am in the process for buying a new phone,but am very confused to which one to buy.I have got 3phones in my mind i.e NOKIA 7250i,SonyEricsson T630 or SAMSUNG X600. Of all these the SAMSUNG X600 beats both NOKIA as well as SonyEricsson in Camera+Picture Quality,the memory is too large i.e almost 10MB,it has infrared too. The only advantage that NOKIA has is it has a Stereo FM,that keeps on hooked in to fab music whenever & whereever we r on the move.SE T230 has a good battery life,atleast better than both SAMSUNG & NOKIA.Another part where NOKIA is defeated by SAMSUNG & SE are the colours,i.e both SAMSUNG & SE are 65,000 colour enabled where as NOKIA is just 4096,which compared to SAMSUNG and SE is nothing near. Does this phone have a Zoom Function with its CAMERA.Another point to be noted is when i compared my SAMSUNG X100 with this phone there were 2 MAJOR differences.Firstly the dealer i had been to,opened a SEALED PACK & showed me.THe display looked a bit bluish.Secondly the ringtones are not at near the Level of SAMSUNGs previous model,i.e SAMSUNG X100.The menues and everthing else is same,except that it has a camera.But each and every dealer in the market is saying that they would personally insist that we customers buy SAMSUNG X600,as it has got a good re-sale value + its a CLASSIC handset.

Hello Friends, I wanted a GPRS phone with value for money which Samsung X600 gave me. It has the maximum 9MB memory, 65K colours with 128 x 128 TFT, a camera with 640 x 480 resolution & LED torch, GPRS Class 10, IrDA and Cable connectivity, Good reception and good battery backup. But the bigest problem is its not Nokia, Unlike Nokia its not sturdy enough that it will be able to manage a 5 feet fall, has a external antenna and the most annoying is that the INRARED DOESN'T WORK WITH PC I tried using BAFO-120 IrDA and with a inbuilt IrDA of a Laptop but of no use, Both of them were able detect Nokia 6610 easily. SAMSUNG X600's INFRARED ONLY RECEIVES BUISNESS CARDS FROM NOKIA PHONES. It doesn't accompany a Cable and CD so you have spend approx $15 extra on it and download a massive 60MB Samsung EasyStudio for using GPRS and transffering images on PC. EasyGPRS isn't compatible with X600. You have to use EasyStudio Internet Access to access Internet thru it, Uninstall / Remove / Disable any previous modem you have and install Samsung GPRS modem. If still unable to connect try dialing alternate numbers (*9***91# etc) provided by your Service provider. Do provide default Gateway, Port, Bearer (GPRS only) and APN. I bought a Chineese made USB cable and its working fine after my 1 week long research on X600. The Samsung Service Centres here in Chandigarh (India) were not able to provide me any help. They say IrDA works but it doesn't. They say they have its cable but when you visit them again and again, its not arrived yet. I don't know when proffessionalism is going to come in India. My BAFO-120 IrDA is lying useless due to the wrong feedback given by Samsung before I bough X600. Today I realise what makes a Nokia, a Nokia. I regret not buying Nokia 6610i or Nokia 6220 which has EDGE. Hope this will help some readers. Thanking you With Warm Regards MOHIT GULERIA

Many questions abt how to download pics from X600 to PC. I've tried and it works. You can follow these steps: 1. Download Easy Studio (20040713102523312_EasyStudio_1.0DF2_20040628_Se­tup.zip) 2. Install and run the program. 3. Change the connection to IRdA (default is COM3 - via cable) 4. Activate IRdA of your samsung mobile 5. Run File Manager So far so good. I can download all my photos & organiser, updates my organisers. One thing I couldn't do though: upload image to the phone ... :(

I have this phone almost three months,and didn`t experience any problem.Easy studio and IR work Ok,you guys maybe didn`t go to set up in easy st. and setit up on infra red ,after that comp should rekognize your ph as SGH x600 and be written on line down there.I easyly send photos either way.Camera is 0.3Mpix... If your mobile isnt detected by the EasyStudio, than maybie your cabel isnt suitable, i had the same problem, check the MODEL (its written on the blakc box on the cable). The cable model for x600 is PCB133LBE or PCB133LBEC.

But, when i ran easy studio it did not recognise the phones connection and it remains offline even though it's actually connected. Its a well equiped mobile phone with advance technology. The sound volume I've noticed is too low. I had N620 before this model and I had noticed the same problem. There must be some more efforts to raise sound volume for ringtones a bit higher

IR functionality sucks, the fact that one can only transfer pics via MMS sucks, antenna sucks, battery life not great, the fact that the backlighting goes off when the battery is low sucks (you can't see a thing on the display when the backlighting is off) - sorry did I say its a great phone - I lied - it sucks and I gave mine away!!!

HELP! I've just bought X600, purchased a proper USB cable, downloaded Easy Studio 1.0 and ... NOTHING!!! I still can't send any pictures I had taken from my phone to PC (laptop). Easy Studio recognizes X600, uploads the phonebook, sms list and everything else but whenever I go to the File Menager menu and open "My Phone" I get to see three folders and the one that should contain "Photos" is empty. I've tried moving photos to "My album" folder but it didn't work. Updating and patching Easy Studio did not help either. "My photos" folder remains empty. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY IS THAT SO? CAN I DOWNLOAD SOME OTHER SOFTWARE THAT'S GONNA WORK WITH X600 TO TRANSFER MY PICS??? PLZ HELP!!!

no one can transfer any kind of image or ringtone, not even the phonebook and calender items to any kind of PC as its IR is a dummy one and is not even detected by the PC. however only a buisseness card can be sent or recieved by this phone against another IR compatible phone!

i see that some of you don't read the opinions before they write theirs ! it was allready told which program you need to send your pics and ringtones, and where you can find it ! the irda is the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to share your photos (only if you know how to use the program, but it's really easy) ! it's really a good phone, and not expensive at all ! so, if you want to know more, or need help, begin to read the other opinions ! you'll find my e-mail in a message that i posted for a few days !

It's me again. I've forgotten to tell ya that the only way to bring the photos to your PC is either via Data Cable or by sending them in MMS to another phone that can be connected to a computer. The IRDA is useless(Infrared port)

My mother has that phone and it is great. For a pity the IRDA port works only for transfering calendar notes and phonebook entries. Ypu can't send pictures with it. At first I thought that the camera makes very poor photos. But everything has its tactics. With this phone you must hold it immobile(I mean absolutely like a stone) because when you push the "capture" button the Gsm is moving a little, but enough to make bad picture. The second thing is when you release the button. I suggest you to hold the button until the pic is saved otherwise you risk to move the gsm in a critical moment by releasing it. The best option is if you can use some stable surface for basics(like the old big photo cameras :)) but then it makes very good photos. If you can hold it without a single move during the shot it can become an excilent camera.

i have the x600 and yes it can send pics via infrared...just dl easystudio 1.0 this is an excellent, recommended..fantastic picture quality. stores 200 msgs,,,1000 phonebook and 100 sim card names.games, wap, integrated flash....

phone resolution is 128x90 but the display is a lot biger than c100. And you can't create short clips but you can do 15photos per 1second.

Hi the pics can be transfered to the pc by infra all that you need is an infrared device and the easy-studio software. This phone is great as compared to its price.

No video clip making, secondly photos can be sent tyhrough GPRS to ur email adress. LCD is 128*128 pixel UFB better than STN but far less capable than TFT. Overall good phone for price

this phone cannot transfer picture or ringtone through infrared,the infrared is use to transfer things in ur phone book.this phone hav great camera(althrought 0.3megapixel) but the picture are quite sharp and it support 5x zoom,the cons are that it doesn't hav picture phonebook n useless infrared(to me).

Hi, I must confess to you that samsung is the handset to beat especially with this new X800. However, i must let you know that we are not getting the right feel here in Africa especially Nigeria. We see this handsets on the internet but do not get to see them on stands at the samsung desgnated centres. You only get to see trickles of them at the white market. Kindly better equip your centres to enable us have our samsung of yours from a designated centre.

Sexy phone. The camera quality is great and the ringtones are excellent. You can record voices too, but you need to make a new MMS message first and go to Sound, the Record New.

X600 is not a bad phone. Photo quality is a lot better than T610 and has a flash which T610 does not have. Cannot send pictures through IRDA though and no photo shown on incoming call.

yeah samsung is better ... but the display resolution it`s just 128*128 compared to sony-ericsson t610 (128*160) beacause of it`s shape the quality of samsung display is a bit weak ... and the display is a bit little ... but what the hell i`m going to buy my self 1 today so whish me luck ... by the way the camera on samsung has 640*480 ... 0,3 mp but the one on sony-ericsson has only 0,1 mp so it`s weacker and yes samsung has a flash around the camera u know ... if u need more detalis +40724527787 ... so in a few years samsung will take down nokia ... samsung phones have a beautiful design and are configured to offer u the best reception money can buy :)

I'm getting rid of a T610 for this phone. The T610/T630 is one of the worst phones to text with. Using the joystick is impossible to use 2 letters on the same button conescutively quickly.
