Just short of ten years using my M75 with its second battery. As others have commented, the rubber cladding shed itself long ago, as did the cover for the camera lens (no great loss). It is now behaving oddly, sometimes turning itself off with a 'beep', sometimes refusing to turn off, sometimes freezing if a text message is typed too quickly and, on one occasion, vibrating continuously and unstoppably like a crazed device of pleasure. New battery required? I hope that's all, this is a great phone an a good friend! If I could obtain another with a warranty, I'd do so.

I have this phone for about 6 years now. It still works perfectly and it is intact apart from the battery (replaced on batteryupgrade.com), some of the rubber shielding on the outside got brittle and broke off.I replaced those with some Sugru. I love the organizer and the music player; the UI design of both features are very ergonomic and don't contain any gold bumpers. The sound recorder is not that useful, too fiddly to start. The stopper to protect the connector took some wear, but it still performs very well, still watertight. The camera is weak, can't make any good pictures with it, but that was not why I bought this phone. I am quite happy with it, after having searched for 3 years where to get it. The max. capacity of MMC-RS card that it can use is 512MB.

using this set since December,2005..great set frm siemens.still working with no prblm,except the casing of da set,my rubber gone and so i change the casing,now it has plastic casing instead of rubber... Battery charge is good,i charge the set every 2,3 alternate day... da great facility of the set is i can send installed application,games to other mobile...i think this option is unique in siemens....

Use since june 2006, the rubber gone, rise the metal, be transformer, cool! All function still ok! Browsing with opera mini, ucweb, minuet and bolt 104 very fast. Great product from siemens.

Bought it back when it was released! still having no problems regardless of repeated rough use ( I used in rain and dust..never underwater heheh). VERY VERY customisable - I can literally select which key does what on the fast access menu. Has different vibration options, and gives better sound and picture quality compared to concurrent nokia and sony ericson phones. Only problem I faced was that the rubber on the sides started to soften and melt away recently. I love this phone and its so meshed with my lifestyle now its hard for me to let it go...

Well, I use an M75 for almost 3 years now, and I am really happy with it! Its battery still lasts for more than 3 days, it's got bluetooth working great, it's really tough (apart from the rubber parts, which peel after some time), has a 1.3MP camera, easy-to-navigate menu, RS-MMC slot for storing photos, mp3, videos etc. Using the free ReadManiac software, I can also read my Palm ebooks (pdb) using my Siemens! I surely miss an FM radio, a better quality camera and voice dialling, but it surely worths every cent I paid for it! Too bad Siemens is out of mobile business now...

Siemens M75 is not a good set at all. I am a user of M75 and i am from Dhaka, BANGLADESH. The quality of casing is too too poor. the griper comeout from the set with in 6 month. company gave 1 year casing repless waranty but head office of SIEMENS in BANGLADESH dont intereat to do that.they just said wait, casing will come.thay keep me wait 3 month.i cant use my phone set. even the casing+set is not available in BANGLADESHi Market. It was my worang Decision to purchase SIEMENS.I will never purchase Siemens as well as never suggased to any of my friends to purchase SIEMENS.. if you are looking for real tough phone and welling to let go some up to date feature, then go for the ME75. if you can live without bluetooth, mp3 and savvy with infrared and wire connection, then you got a real outdoor phone. sand, heavy splash of seawater, race you done the stairs all kind of rough handeling can take it with no problem. light in waight long battery life and cheap.

Hi, I work with the army and I have found this particular phone to be very good with our kind of work but the only short commings are a short recording time for the video camera and the peeling soft rubber. About dust, shock and water proofing I can't say much 'coz this is a damn expensive phone for anyone to drop it on the floor, let alone inthe water! But it serves me well, sort of. Hey, where is the radio on this thing? Anyone ever told those siemens guys that radios save lives outdoors? I guess not.....

Fantastic phone, with good secure bluetooth, much better for employees than any other phone available, due to being ip54 rated and rugged, only down side is small buttons. Our organisation has just bough 100 of these, to replace nokia 6310i's. Siemens quality is fantastic, well above nokia standard, hence theyre not cheap and as popular. Its a shame more operators dont promote siemens brand. Fed up of poor nokia's or unreliable LG's or boring samsungs?? Try a siemens, but get an "S" or "M" class. Thats my advice. The "A" and C" class are much cheaper, the "SL" are poser phones. 10/10. Thanks siemens. ( and no, i dont work for them!!!)

you liers that sad it's a good phone... You work at siemens? M75 it's a good phone rezistant to shoks and that's all. Bluetooth with low, low speed, ruber pilling of, verry poor batery, soft very unstabile even with last version, mp3 very stupid. But the soft of Siemens generaly it's very well thinking and it has a lot of feauters and it's very intiutive. But that good point it's take away by hi's bugs. Overall, low quality phone beacause it's not accetable to stay in use 2 days for a out-door phone. Escuze me for my bad english.

Rs MMC card slots have some problem. some time card is't found. this a big fatyy mobile i have ever seen.display quality is very poor. maybe m65 is better than m75. i want to say all 75 series are garbage. so plz dont go with siemens.

I really like this phone, there is something missing but is not a big deal for me, here's my review: + Though, drop it couple times once from over 3 meters but no problem, anti scratch keep the screen smooth. Good features Mp3/AAC and 1.3mp camera, stereo headset/handsfree included when you buy it, Easy tweak if you know/dare to patching it, Very fast battery charge time. - Seperate cover rubber makes easy to lost it, No fastforward/rewind audio player, 132x176 screen... feels small for a phone overall dimenssion. No problem with the rubber here..., there's some bug, but everyhing seems fine after i change the firmware to older version.

I have found some problems in M75, these are internet performance slower than other mobiles. And other performance like photography capability is superb. But one thing I can't continue to listen music after recieving call. I start again music player and then start the song. It's really bother me.Lot of mobile software stuffs does not support this mobile.

TO : casio I'm from Indonesia, I think phones from both countries came from same factory. It says "Made in Germany" on the box's IMEI sticker. And I trust it coz I bought it at Siemens distributor at Indonesia, not from black market. Don't know if the phone already made by Ben-Q in Taiwan... Just check everything before you buy it. Don't get same problem like me in my last post. Especially the rubber thing, coz I'm trying keep it stick with the phone body using glue at the moment. Goodluck :)

I have the phone for about 6 months. I also have same problem here, rubber beginning to melt and also loose the joystick cap. I brought my phone to Siemens, they said that I have to change the whole body/case. When I asked the price.. total about half of the phone price, Wow.. So if you bought this phone, (not count on the body/case price, only the phone function) actualy it's cheap, only half price. Considering what they sell here is the tough body/case of the phone. I also have problem with the RS-MMC. I put 512Mb RS-MMC, first it was working fine. I think this phone could perform hot swap function (you can eject the MMC without turn off the phone, there is an "Eject card" menu at the option menu, I often use it to transfer MP3 using card reader, more faster than infrared or bluetooth), but after some times I did the hot swap function, suddenly it won't read my MMC. I tried to read my MMC at my card reader, it was fine. I also tried to read it using NOK** phones, worked fine. I've to sell my MMC to NOK** user. But I never giveup. I bought more expensive MMC (Kingstone), worked fine, never use the hot swap function, I turn off the phone to eject the card. But another problem came. When I played an MP3 file, suddenly it shuted off. I turned back on the phone, tried to play same file worked fine. Other day, when I played another MP3 file, it shutted of again, turn ed back on, played the same file worked fine ?? TO badamadafaka : Using standard Music player, you cannot access another menu while playing MP3. When you play MP3, then a call came in, after you answer or reject it, the MP3 is not paused, but stopped. If you played a play list, and that thing happen, then you have to begin from the beginning of the play list, and accessed next song with your joystick until last song you heard, and start from the beginning of the song. The Video is OK, only you have to save it to phone's memory first then move to MMC, maybe the MMC access speed not enough for video recording. So the legth of recording depends on the available phone memory. The camera OK, you have to use a flash if you want to capture in low light condition(that's OK, want a perfect one? got get a digital camera..). MP3 OK, good sound, using handsfree and standard player software, but remember, no equaliser (want a perfect one? get the SON*ER*****N WALK*** edition, good one..). Software?? You know.. like everyone said, maybe better after you upgrade the firware (I haven't), and not to put much file in 14Mb phone's memory, and it deppends on your patience :) Battery ?? In my usage, I have to charge it every morning, but it quite fast. I always charge it when I take a bath. Style ?? I don't care... Radio?? I listen radio in my car, and my HI-FI in my home and office, If there was no radio, I listen to MP3 (that's why I use 512Mb MMC). Sorry for my bad english granmar..

I was excited when I got the phone..It looks really cool.. Now however I am frustrated with what a lousy product it is. 1) The Rubber is wearing away very quickly, and I only ever put it in the casing on my belt!! 2) The MP3 playing rubbish. It is a 50/50 chance that it will play the songs on the RS-MMC. 3) After setting the ring tones on either the RS-MMC or on board the phone, it still reverts to the original ringtone!!!Ahhhh!!! 4)It keeps Not reading any RS-MMC!! I sent it for repair and still!! ahahh it is driving me nuts! 5) The battery life is horrible.. with normal usage, it lasts me 2 days max..

I have the phone from about 6 months and mine also started to fall apart, mine rubber and joystick cap had fallen out, mine battery is draining way too quickly and the software is pretty unstable but it also has a very beautiful design, a good camera and an extremely powerful speaker so I am partially satisfied with it.

Just bought this phone. Almost lost the nipple/connector cover. I was wondering, if without the connecter cover, is it still water/dust resistant with the MMC slot and connectors exposed??? The old Nokia 6250, even though came without any form of connector covers works fine.

D..n M75 i have mine from 9m. and it's already falling a parts. First i'v lost nipple on the joystick,second rubber start falling off from battery cover and not to mention sw stability.Today battery starts to playing in socket...Yes, it's realy resistent to dust and water but not to my pocket at all /no dust over display like M65 :)/.I would not recommend this phone to anyone. sorry for the "english" of mine :)

anyone who knows how to make the M75 play mp3 while i'm writing a msg or just browsing the menu, pls drop me an email! i was looking for some solutions, but without success. anyhow. a nice phone, but the software is real crap. it is freezing all the time and turns off without any reason. just like every other siemens. :D

I've just bought M75 3 days ago. First i looked great. The video, not bad. The picture too. But then, I surprised. Yesterday, it suddenly dead while I was reading a message. I'm sure the battery was half full. This night, it happened again. I knew this will happen. I've already read the testimonial about the bug. But now, while I was looking for the web, I couldn't find the menu to download the software. Can anyone tell me where to find it. Oya, one of the weakness of M75 is, the bluetooth feature is too easy to transfer. It might cause a virus to transfer to the phone. It doesn't have any menu to accept or to reject a file and this could be dangerous.

TO radu: ive heard a lot from the users of ME45. I myself, want to have a ME45 even if it is phased out in the market today. but still, in the colored camera phones, the M75 looks like the toughest phone in the market now today. as well as the M65. maybe you can also read the opinions of the users of that phone. anyway, i also read something here that there is a 1200mAh battery compatible with it. but not an original Siemens battery. dunno if it is available in Romania. =) TO andy & shawn: try setting the language to automatic. if it still dont work, try calling the customer service to assist you on it. =) TO piksun & yehia: try downloading the firmware and install it on your phone. it will fix bugs and improve software performance. memory is 8 according to users. but you can purchase RSMMC cards of upto 1GB. but to be on the safe side. try using 512MB RSMMC. Flash? purchase the flash accessory. TO mankind: to be on the safe side, only turn on the bluetooth only when it is needed. TO No Name: reception? better ask your local telecommunications provider. or try comparing it with another phone on the same location. rubber bumpers peeling off? try purchasing a rubber or leather or a neoprene case. obviously, rubber in time, softens and loosens its texture. it peels or sometimes, softens to the extent that it deforms even when you apply slight pressure on it. like the finger nails. its inevitable. thats the consequence. to prolong the rubbers life, dont place it in heat and in high humidity. TO slimbabe: try reconfiguring your GPRS settings and/or WAP settings with the help of your local telecommunications provider. configuring Siemens settings is quite a pain in the neck. quite complicated. so maybe, ask help. TO Indok: yeah he's right. if you really want a waterproof phone, enclose it in a plastic bag or rather a Ziplock�. =) and just face it, everything has a limitation. And I agree with him that this is the best phone on its class on the market today. TO fadil: Ok so you're a phone tester. So maybe you would consider that water is different from coffee.. lolz! and testing the phone would be just ok. as long as you would know its limitations. yeah you can try to operate it under water and test on how long can it withstand it. but not with coffee. ;) TO Bis: thanks for the link... 1- the phone is good butt the video of this phone is very very very very very pad in record and playback and it can'not play back the *.mp4 and if it playback it will be with no voice. 2- the internal memory is 8 mb and free 2.32 for used but not 14 mb so please repaire this mistake in the specification web page 3- No flash 4- No FM radio with RDS like sonyericsson mobile phones 5- very solow.

I have owned this phone for under a year now and I have been unimpressed with it. First the reception sucks! I loose calls all the time in areas I know for a fact have coverage. Second it is durable but if you are like me and keept the phone in your pocket. The rubber bumpers begin to peel off. Very disappointing. I hardly ever use the MP3 player and the sound that it makes when it is connecting a call down right annoying. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

M75 is great phone. rugged and water resistance, but do remember to cover the hole behind the phone. Battery life is good unless you play game... bomberman is great game and it drain the battery rather fast. Same I am wondering if there is a battery with larger capacity than the one provided. One more thing I have no idea on how to read chinese on this phone... Again I like to say, this is a great phone.

I know that this phone is extraordinary!!! I really want to buy it because i think that siemens makes the greatest outdoor mobile phones in the world. I own a siemens ME 45 (also outdoor phone) for 2 years and 7 months. I throued it on the asphalt for so many times that I can't even remember, I put it under water just for fun and I had no problems with it, so the new siemens M75 should do even better. And it's cheaper than nokia and other phones with the same specifications. My questions are: can i put a bigger than 32 MB MMC? are there powerful bateries available(1000 mAh or higher)? This is a one good phone,there is all that a modern phone must have. To SIEMENS I have one recommend only: to improve dysplay resolution of SIEMENS phones and, may be, the battery capacity. Bad display contrast and resolution is reffered especially for high SIEMENS models

Great phone. I got it from some salesman who specializes in selling European model phones. I actually use it in US. pros: Great reception (more bars where normal people either have no service or few bars. "Different" look. Rugged. Has everything a modern phone should have. A lot of configurable options. cons: Little bulky. Comes with plugs for splash resistance, but they are so small that i almost lost one of them: if you lose one of them particularly on the bottom, then all the sand and dust will get inside the phone and the memory card won't most likely come out. Too many options, like every little detail about how your phone should operate can be configured. Alarm clock/calendar won't alert you if your phone is off. No clear indication that you have missed calls, no alert whatsoever if somebody left you a voice message. Loud bleep in your ear when you connect while dialing a number. When you have call waiting, again the signal is not loud enough.

Apart from two bugs I have encountered, I find it a great mobile. The first bug was having a frozen screen and the second bug was having an empty inbox though it should have some elements to show! Both bugs were immediately fixed by restarting the phone. We must never forget that electronic equiment whatever the make is, is liable to have bugs. If you want waterproof, wrap it in a plastic/ziplock bag ;-) This phone is designed to sustain more abuse than a regular phone (which it does) but be realistic, it does have limitations... To Daniel the some changes include: The camera pictures are definetly better quality. It's faster. Faster MMC data transfer. Bluetooth transfer is transparent and faster. I think the bluetooth transfer rate is faster between M75 and my PC. USB DCA510 or Serial DCA500 cables are necessary.

The price is 900 RON ( around 300 USD ) in Bucharest . Someone asked me about its bugs on my email adress . From what I've encountered so far , it crashes when sending files throughout Bluetooth (not everytime , just sometimes) . I have it for a month now , and it's starting to get slow . What is strange , when the menu is starting to run slowly , if you enter into "my stuff" menu , it starts to run ok again ...probably the memory . A problem which can be solved through periodical format of the file system and master reset (strongly reccomend a backup before that of all themes & stuff) . Also ,don't keep too many messages , too many MMS's , or pictures & mp3's in the phone memory . Keep it clean , transfer all data & sms's periodically on your PC . It's not a smartphone , and it needs periodical cleansing .. I reccomend all of you which haven't bought it yet to buy it .. its bugs are not so major , it still remains a strong piece of handset with bussines features .

the battery life depends on how much u use it. if i listen to mp3s all day long i have to charge it daily. talk time is said to be up to 5 h, its someyhing like that. its not much but better than some N smart phones that have around 3 hours, but not as good as SE, overall its ok.

I find the M75 exactly what it promises it would be. Sturdy, good non-plastic looking, nice keys and a good clear window. And as far as the camera is concerned; I use a couple of DSLR's and SLR's (A-brands) for making photo's for let's face it nothing beats a real camera. After all I bought the M75 primarily for it's phone functions and outdoor looks. Overall I am very satisfied with my M75.

I ain't surprised about the fate of Siemens and have to laugh at the company's catchphrase 'be inspired'- I find this hard when you look at the models they've chucked out.....a lot cold,stark and industrial looking phones.....the M75 looks like a throwback from the 70's- it's hideous!The only two siemens models I find aesthetically pleasing are the SL55 and SF65.A lot of siemens models have the features but the looks just ain't there...maybe if the had been Siemens would not have got into the state it is today.

On one side - Nokia and SonyEricsson Fans , on the other - Siemens and only Siemens fans.ANyway , a dispute on this forum regarding what everyone likes seems useless..So let's stick to the facts .For me Siemens means Bussines , german construction and so on . I don't care if it's like a brick as long as it has organiser functions and call information of which Nokia couldn't ever dream of !! I've used Nokia 6630 , 6230i for a long time , and nothing compares to Siemens when it comes for bussines functions . Yes , it crashes , yes , it has bugs , battery life is shorter than other's , but..Siemens is like Bentley Continental put near a Masserati ..So excuse me if I'm wrong , I preffer a serious , classic and square phone to a clamf**ing shell , to a slipery and colourfull SonyEricsson or Nokia . I can hardly wait for SXG75 and for other classy phnoes from Siemens .

I've had my second M75 now for a month. The first one died (screen went dead) after 5 days. Now the rubber edges are already peeling off. The phone crashes about once a week and the GPRS over bluetooth makes my Palm T3 crash about once every 20 minutes which never happened with my nokia (6820). The camera has a lot of pixels, yes, but the lense is poor so the picture quality isn't that good. The battery life is terrible. I have to recharge the phone every or every second day. (and I don't use it in business, private use only!) I had an M45 a few years ago and I was very pleased with that phone. The M75 is however a complete disappointment. I have decided to sell it and go back to my old Nokia.

I have the handset for a few days now , and the only problem with it is that the battery doesn't fit right , and it has a slight movement when u shake the phone in your hands . Maybe if I try another battery..it may fit right . I strooongly reccomend , before actually starting to use it , to format the file system , and a master reset !! (it's a siemens , and this has to be done :) ) The latest firmware version doesn't appear to be posted on Siemens's site . What I would like to know is wether there is a bigger battery for this model or not , here in Romania I couldn't find something like this . Had the phone for a few months now (from pixmania, imported to england). It is a tough nut, but not that tough. The black rubber edges are already coming away, one side completly. The camera cover is lose now. little bit of rubber on bottom came off. Screen is impossible to keep clean, and is not very clear (when compared to sony k750i). Overall it does the job. The camera in my old samsung was better, so dont expect miracles from this, especially without a flash. So Good Points: Is dust, splash and drop proof Does have bluetooth can make calls and text Bad Points: The calls dont last long (talktime is seriously bad) It has crashed 4 times in two months(not terrible, but never had this prob before with phones) Rubber parts dont stand up to the phone being in your pocket 12 hours a day! Texting so fiddly, im not some old winger, it really is fiddly. Charging takes ages Screen is not very clear (except in pitch dark) Menus are over complicated (this is no Nokia/Samsung thats for sure!) Overall I regret my choice, but im happy that i can drop this phone, get caught in the rain and it wouldnt instantly die on me =D

M75 has 64 Mb, and 8.3 available by user! the cam is 1.3, 1280x1024, if you want to see some pics look here some pics taken with my M75, it opens a picture taken with the camera in about 1 sec, fast enough!

Hi guys, I have a couple of queries in my mind. Firstly,does the phone has any backlash while pressing the keys? Are there any creaking noises? and Secondly Is the software devoid of any bugs? i am using a M75. Very tough set, i have used it several times even when i am in the rain! The only thing i don't like is it's smaller display. but other features are pretty cool! i would suggest those people to buy it who are confused... I have a question.. can anybody here tell me... is it possible to link up the phone via usb or bluetooth with a linux system?? I just want to access the file system of the phone.. thanks.. chayon

Availability is very limited,here in taiwan the closest i can get to a m75 model is by looking at the internet. but can't get my hands on one. I've ask our local dealer and they say there is no possibility of getting one in taiwan. Tough luck!

well; i am still waiting this mobile, i don't think i will buy it at once, i will wait the price to go down... it's weird none of you is talking about the IP54... the protection level of this phone, IP54 is good, i just wish to see higher protection levels from Siemens in the next 'M' phone... i am sure they can do it....

Hey guys, I just bought a M75. Its too cool but the only dissapointing thing is the small display. I am thrilled with its robustness!! It would be better if it had a more than 32 Mb MMC. MMC is not cheap here (Bangladesh)... Anyways... thanks to all who suggested!

Actually I've been waiting for the "next M65" as it is the phone that reflects myself from all aspects though it is lack of bluetooth. But I am very dissapointed with the M75 as it doesn't look nice compare to my M65. I'll stick with my M65 and keep hoping that someday siemens is kind enough to equip it with bluetooth as I am an adventurer and doing extreme activities. Siemens do you hear me? oziris: to go to the names with G u just have to press G on the keyboard when u are in the addressbook. i believe u did addressbook > options > search(u have to write the full name this way). battery: mine lasts the same. this is it, not bad, but not very good too.

i downloaded a game(sea battle) with the download assistant. the message was it was downloaded to my stuff/system/java/64558/games. i have no directory like that. i've created one, downloaded the game again, but i couldnt find it in the directory. any ideeas whats wrong?

oziris: you can search for contacts, yuo don`t need to scrool!!! The keyboard is very very good, im satisfied with it, better than in the pics, and very easy to use!!! The phone is good, the battery lasts 4 days, and i play games on it, take pics, listen to music, the standby time is 15 days!!! quite good, and robust, phone

The GSm could be better.. - There is no option to search the numbers so if you have a lot of numbers you have to scrol a lot. - I am unable to capture video on the card.. only internal memory. The option in setting is not availble. for fotos this option works like a charm. - The joystick could be replaced with 4-way button. I just hate this on GSM-s. it would be faster scrolling for the users. - The buttons are really small and to close togethher. -The cap to put in on the bottom to close the MMC/charger slot can easy be lost..Also foto cap... -The battery should be stronger since you have to rechared it every 2 days with havy usage. The Sony-Ericsson is in my oppinion best in this...2 other SE GSM phones and battery lasts a lot longet with havy usage. -There could be buttony on the side of the phone for volume. Like it is for foto.... Good.. the headset is good...Display too. Robust.

chris977: lol man, buy a memory card reader, it`s about 13 euros, you can transfer 1 mp3 in 1 sec, or maybe faster!!!! I use the datacable for firmware upgrade, so i say you should buy a memory card reader, insert the card in it an copy form the computer to memory card, so simple, fast and cheap!

When the M65 was released, I didn't buy it cause it lacked expandable memory and bluetooth. I bought the M75 yesterday (265 euros in Greece) and I'm very thrilled with it. I bought a 512MB card and filled it up with mp3s. Sound is good though the player is very basic. The phone is perfect and really durable (unlike 5140). They have a display in a shop where it is operating under a shower. Would like a GPS option (like in 5140/5140i)but probably on M85... M75 is much better than 5140i and much much better than M65. It might prove to be the next M45.

does the m75 have the same dynamic light feature as the m65? by the way, as far as m65 toughness, i regularly go surfing in northern california with my phone in my wetsuit, and have never had a problem. Tough enough for me!

standby time: it's no more then 2 days, but i'm using it heavy: gprs (wap), mms, cam&video, games, lots of sms and call, bt, all in one day :) coz i have free gprs/mms/sms/calls. but, in some normal using, it will last 3, even 4 days.

no, the camera isn`t fullscreen, but it`s much much better then the one from sx1! it`s a good phone, better then sx1, depends on for what do you use the phone( e.g music, calls, messaging, appointmens)

ronak: if you want to transfer mp3s from your phone to other phone, yo can put your mmc in the other phone and then copy from memory card to phone, or you can copy from your phone to mmc!

Tina, you can enable video ringtone by selecting a video(3gp)>options>set as> e.g. calls!! and when someone calls you the video appears on the screen, but the sund quality of the video isn`t very good cuz the 3gp file is using amr audio codec! I like this phone but i`ll buy the cx75, same software!

Please don't forget, that we had to wait for the M65 as well. The reason why was software problems. In Hungary the GSM Networks selled the 65 series only for few months, otherwise Nokia 6230 still can be bought after 1 year. Interesting, maybe software problems again?

Just had a look at the M75 at siemens website, found it quite a good phone. i currently purchased a Nokia 6230i about 2 months back, the phone very good but has a lot of bugs and has me running of to the service centre now and then. I my earlier phone was a siemens C55 and i've never had any problems with it. Does anyone have any idea what its price and availability in New Delhi INDIA is as plan to discard of the nokia. I checked the contact link in the siemens website, it seems that the webpage does seems to work correctly when submitting the query, it always asks for the category and topic details which are not given in the website page.

Hi, I think is a great replacement phone for my previous owned SX1. All I need is a MP3 player in a mobile phone cos I don't really care much on a symbian os running in a phone. It support playlists too, cos I have inserted a 1GB RS-MMC card...lots of songs now! :) I haven't fiddle around with the camera, I think is better than Siemens S65. Got my M75 from Germany although I'm living in Asia. Great looking, and much nicer looking than M65. Easy to fix up the phone unlike M65 have to fix the steel plates. Pros: - MP3 player - MP3/AAC/WAV/MIDI ring tones - RS-MMC slot - Fast user interface - Very loud output sound from speaker or from stereo head phones if playing MP3 songs Cons: - MP3 player does not play in background - So so 1.3 megapixel camera (hope the new firmware will improve this) - Pretty small screen Overall, this ia robust phone with dust, splash and shock spoof. Very statisfied Siemens customer.

I've owned the me45, m65 and am looking at this new m75. I think all the M designs are great. I'm sick of all those round feminine silver phones out there, frankly. Hi there. I've had Siemens ME45 and now i got M55. M55 aint that great. But ME45 was a kickass phone. I hope M75 will be similar to ME45. Wich means sturdy, "waterproof" and practical. with a good calendar and etc.. For me this phone first of all should be practical, no matter the weatherconditions, and do well in everyday use as well. you should get external flash with it , and it have very good flash ( compatible with 65 55 series ) and its light is 10 times stronger then normal interna flashs ... it dreins more battery but it will light on much more distances ... Like i have s700 and it cant light more then 2 meters before me in total dark ( to make good pic in total dark ) ... :(((

Becouse you have music all like on this phone ... just if you wont to listen news ? And you go to ride with bicucle and you are to listening news ? HEHE ... just music , you love and wont ... fm would just incresse price , and it is not needed for outdoor mid priced phone :) ... btw cx75 and m75 and others should have media player = very good couse you can make on them playlists etc ... very nice if it is true .. and i think it is :) + we should w8 for new smartphone from siemesn there some 4-5 mid - high phones there like s75 , sl75 etc ... i can w8 sry bad eng ^^

This phone is a lethal weapon!!! its big ugly and deadly. Great for people who need to protect themselves. If thrown at some1 this phone will do damage. Can also be used as a table tennis racket or even a baseball bat. Siemens have introduced a new technology called suiside bomber. When activated after 30 seconds this phone will explode, another example of why this handset is the ultimate self defence weapon phone. If the Nokia 5210 was known as the bouncer then i think the M75 should be known as the Terminator.

Moreover rugged phones are not made for business or high class, they are made for outdoor users and therefore not very much beautiful in shapes...like 5140, 5100, ME45, M65. I hope u all understand.

The ME45 is one solid little nugget of a phone. All phones should be built as durable. Put Bluetooth in the handsome ME45 shell and I'll upgrade.

Hmmmm...need to see the black one in the flesh but undecided from the photo. What I really want is a phone designed like a casio g-shock watch. Liked my Nokia 6250 tough phone...wish I'd never sold it now. Had a siemens M65 last year, sent it back as it was very flimsy for a 'tough' phone

Maybe its Siemens Best year ever Becuase all what all intrested in are including here in m75 But I prefered the Cx70 call records and the Fm Radio is a Great Idea for this mobile So I hope to be proud of Siemens this year with the new coll (No To Nokia)

Well; i have been using ME45 for more than two years, and i don't know if this M75 will make me change it, it has good specs., but after all what i really care about is how strong and durable is it.... i think the older are always the stronger, there was M35, i have never seen or used it, but heard its very strong..... thats all what i need...

I agree...the design is not for everyone...i thing the designer in siemens company must learn from nokia or samsung producers about the style..for me..the most reliable n desire models of siemens is ME45...after that...its odds models...sorry for that...

Comparing to my ME45, I really dissapointed with the design. But considering the hi-tech specs, well, M75 surely is the best-known-outdoor mobile phone ever!!! Let's hope Siemens could give a better look in the future M80 or M85? ;)

Rugged ugly-charming design. I think I can grow to like this one. Great display, camera, mp3, connectivity + built-in handsfree. But no electronic compass. And no voice-memo ala M65. And no 400h standby/6h talk like the SXG75.

Siemens is trying to get the mobile department back out of the red. They are going to release 15 new phones this year I believe. I hope this phone is the long awaited successor of the siemens ME45 (their best phone ever 'till now). The m55 wasn't shock and water resistant, the m65 is not as durable as the me45. I hope this one will be a worthy successor of the ME45...
