hey..i am using this phone from last 2 years..its awesome...camera quality good...in lights.] in dark light its average...anyways nice phone....good ram..no heating issue.. no hanging problem i faced last 2 years...there is one problem which i faced thats the vibration problem..once it fell down from mah hands n it stopped vibrating but fortunately second time it again fell from mah hand in 2 days and the vibration started working a very nice phone under this budget.. go for it without thinking...!!! :)

Yes spice 515 can increase internal memory... Just follow step by step 1) Upload FRAMAROOT in ur Phone(for to root ur DEVICE Spice 515) 2) n just follow ds link Video.... Remember its free no cost i tryd n tested n im using my lot of high Graphic games(Which we havg internal is 1.77 phone storage + 978Internal ds is Default storage but after rooting n watch ds video u can use internal which is sd n internal will be sd ok... (I am using 32 gb memory card which after root now i am having internal is around 28.99(User memory we will be getting from 32 gg sd memory card) n i am having memory card memory is 1.77(which u can only see ds memory in file manager only) ok friends Best of luck enjoy now all apps n high games ... TC ;)

Those who want to install games on sd card they simply change the write disk from internal memory to sd card. Go to -settings> storage There is an option to change default write disk, change it to ur memory card n u r done, all the app data will be automatically install on sd card. This phone has android 4.1.2 n u dont need any app2sd type app. Those phones which r running on android 4.1 need to hav such app tranfer applications. Hope this will help

Hii Friends!!! I am using spice mi 515 since last 8 months. This phone is really best in my opinion. After going to user opinions, I found that many friends have problems which have solutions. My this post to help you those who have same or similar problems. u can additionally contact me if needed any help..on email- [email protected] 1. Apps cannot be installed or moved to SD card: No, u can install apps to SD card..ie external SD card. no need to move to SD like apps...its waste.. Generally when u download apps from Google play store, it gets install on Ram memory on this phone. if u try to move it to external sd, it will not be possible because this phone allows only to move app to internal storage by default. any move to SD app will not help u here. just follow these step to install Google play apps to external SD.: just download app from Google play. it will be installed on ur Ram memory. Just take back up of that app using phones backup and restore apps or using external app. I will suggest to use other external app. After backup, uninstall that downloaded app. now go to backup app and click on install. Now phone will show u option, where to install it. install on external storage.. Like this u can install no of apps on external SD. this problem is only with Google play store. If u download apps from other sites which store its data on memory card, u will get option where to install. I think, this will help all frnds. u can play full HD video using MX player. hi Friends, I have bought this phone 8 months before, I am finding that any external aap which I am downloading and installing from play store. The aap icon which is comming on mobile screen is getting surrounded by black square shade. This is giving a very cheap look and screen outfit like a china mobile. Guys please tell me if you have any solution to this problem. But as far as phone functioning is concerned. I have face not even faced single issue so far. Furthermore as we all know that moving app from phone to external SD card is a development issue and spice development team has to work on it.

Yes, the volume of this phone is low compared to other phones. If you are 15 to 20ft away from the phone watching a TV you would probably end up missing your calls. But still this phone is worth buying for rest of its features and price! It is really cool...

In this ph there is not a downloading option in your storage for external sd card,there is a only two options are available one is "phone storage" and another is "internal sd card" and in that phone there is 4 gb internal momory are available and u can use only 2 gb internal memory for runnig apps and games etc etc...if you download any games in external card through any browser and run the games apk file ,so the games obb file will redownload in ur phone and after downloading it doesn't work in external sd card ...so i recommanded that after buying any mobile phones from the market check the downloading options in storage..

(Cost of phone is Rs.7000 & repair cost is Rs.6000 as per Spice mobile ASC) The display screen within one month stopped working while it was in my pocket. When approached to Spice customer care & ASC both said that the fault is not from their side though their was no visual damage to the mobile. This phone is good but the only problem is it is very hard to get its accessories. I couldn't find a flip cover and a screen guard for this mobile in the local market. Finally, I was successful to find a flip cover on ebay and have ordered it already but no luck with the screen guard yet. I've been using spice coolpad mi515 since 2 weeks Some serious drawbacks abt mi 515, Sound quality is very poor,DTS feature only enhances bass output a bit.volume is low.headset gives some buzzing sound.stereo is not dividing left & right both sounds come out jointly.I've done stereo test using app. Horizontal lines are running on screen,clearly visible while watching videos.(which makes phone feel cheap quality) I'm not sure whether other users found these issues.friends,check and reply.

Doesn't this phone have a PC Suite to connect and read messages from phone through a laptop? I tried calling up Spice Customer Center and they said android phones do not have this option. PC suite is only to be able to connect to Internet or to access Mass Storage. Can someone clarify this please?

You cant reset this phone like this. You have to go to recovery mode by pressing together vol up key and power key. There you will see factory data reset option.... i think you never understand like this... so let me tell you in detail... 1. Switch off the phone 2. Hold vol up key and power key together 3. Android icon will appear 4. Press once only the power key 5. You will see a chart including many option like... reboot systen now, wipe data/factory resetreset 6. Use vol up key to enter or choose option 7. Use vol down to navigation 8. To reset your phone select the wipe data/factory reset ooption. After click on that option you have to delete all user data. 9. Delete all user data 10. Back to main menu 11. Now click on reboot system now option 12. Thats all.... your phone will be reset. 13. first download framaroot.apk from any site, then install and root ur phone. Restart it. Now download the recovery.img file for spice mi-515 which is clockword mod recovery (it is the most popular).. then put it on ur sdcard0 (phone memory).. then turn off ur phone and hold power button+volume up keys... u'll see a menu...u then select ur recovery by selecting "install from sdcard" .... now restart ur phone and then download ur favourite ROM.... I am using BaiduCloud OS V5.1 ...It is very fluid and amazing... ROM will be downloaded in .zip format...then put the zip file into ur EXTERNAL SDCARD.... now shut down and hold again the power button+volume up keys... u'll see the menu again... now select "wipe data/factory reset" and then "YES"... then "wipe cache"->"YES"... then go to advanced and select "Wipe Dalvik cache"->"YES"...... now go back and select "install zip from sdcard" and select the ROM file from the EXTERNAL SDCARD.... wait for maximum 3 minutes... Reboot system after the install completes... Enjoy the Spice Mi-515 in a very stylish , very fast and very stable ROM.... u'll never want the Stock ROM again.............ENJOY GUYS..!!!!!!!!!

download FRAMAROOT n click on "install superuser"..reboot n check if super user app is installed.or check through ROOT CHECKER app...now download CWM recovery for spice 515..i got it from XDA developers site..make sure u unzip it n place this file into ur phone memory not inside any folder..now download MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS from play store open it n click on UPDATE YOUR RECOVERY it will automatically detect that file click n reboot...now reboot into recovery mode(switch on ur mobile by pressing power button volup n voldown simultaneously).now ur stock recovery mode is changed n u will notice CWM recovery mode has been installed...after this u hav to follow as its given in NEEDROM.COM...n thats very easy todo.thanx

hi freinds, i am using during four month, it is very good mobile for resolution and quick respons operating, even smooth run game, and fm recording, only minor minus points are:- 1. battery (but if you use only taking it runs for long time, except using internate and gps. 2. gps a bit slow respons, but average good 3. camera (but in day light good pics) 4. sound low but dts fecility 5. skype not properly run and in my opinion skype and true caller may get virus or hang the mobile, better use viber, good resonse with this model.

very nice fon, i am using this fon for 3days and find it awesom. everything is working fine. better processor, no hangs at all till now. offer good net speed on pc via wifi even better than my previous lumia620. but camera is only meant for outdoor shoot, and battery takes a longer time to charge. overall it is a good fon. go for it guys.

All those who want to use mobile net on pc download pdanet cracked version frm torrent on ur pc,,on ur sd card copy and paste pdanet apk file frm ur pc,then install the app by running the file(Note go to settings,manage application,tick allow to install unknown applicarion or something).Then install pdanet on pc.Connect usb cable with pc (Note usb thethering should be ticked on ur phone in settings)Run the app and enableepc thethering or something like that not wifi or bluetooth.after clicking the option it will say run on pc.Now on your pc open the program drawer i.e. the arrow near the clock.You will see a mobile icon click on it and then click the option connect and there you go instant internet on pc through mobile.(There are many apps like pdanet but pdanet gives very fast net connection.Download torrent file nt frm playstore otherwise app will run for one month only)hope this helps

it seems you are using android device recently. It doesnot need pc suite to connect to internet. Just connect your usb cable to the pc install drivers and in your tethering settings go and switch on usb tethering. You are done..

@m15:-after using for nearly 2months i found that the having more apps n games is just impossible..... earlier i was using xperia neo v which has just 400mb of internal memory still i could easliy install SIX GUNS n REAL FOOTBALL simultaneously... at the same time this mobile which boasts of having 4gb of internal memory is actually having just 1gb.you cant even install games on your own sd card....u hav to download evrything out of just 1.77gb of sd card or whatever...for ex i downloaded DEAD TRIGER... now 147mb of data i am supposed to have in both part of memory i.e.in 1.77gb of memory n in rest of the sd card...which is just not fare!i mean how can i download other things when i hav been restricted to just 1.77gb of data!although i am using 8gb of sd card.and PHONE MEMORY INTERNAL MEMORY SD CARD is cofusing too!otherwise touch is exceptionally good!battery back up is good!display is good too....no complaints bout that!CAM-FLASH-LIGHT s***s!even a thick CANDLE has got more light than this very flashlight!all in all a very good phone keeping the price point.....

hy pdf supports well... But there huge lag in panning & zooming moreover ms office work but can't be for daily porpose... Editing is very very cumbersome sometime even don't work... A very very worse phone... Spice ruins... I sold my new phone with 3 days... Better try xolo or karbon

when i see coolpad popularity is only 1.6% i think that sometime good products are unable to catch attention of people.one reason could be that is because spice mi series phones are not as good as this coolpad mi 515. so people may be thinking that mi 515 quality is also like other mi series phones.......till my now mi 515 is working great...yesterday my brother in law also bought this phone .

so I've been using this phone for two months and here is my experience. pros small ergonomics compared to other Indian 5 inchers good display though little over saturated (good for showoff) good performance NO HEATING ISSUES, the phone maintain its coolness while browsing, small gaming. but gets a bit warm(very little) while heavy gaming excellent camera and instant snaps can handle heavy gaming lot of custom rom's available Chinese cwm recovery easily rootable two days battery backup on normal usage dts audio output lot more.. cons low GPS lock(may be specific to my handset) had to root and install original coolpad rom to make it work low quality earphones average video recording (720 p but 3gp) average night photos little slippery if u r wet or sweating a bit heavy compared to s4(160g) but normal with other Indian 5inchers low resolution front camera OEM of this phone is coolpad and model is coolpad 7295

avoid buying 25000-40000 mobile phones from so called branded co. try this MI 515 COOLPAD .i guarentee you will not regret.i have taken risk of rs 9500 and i am happy now.this phone is as good as any high priced phones . in fact some of my friends who boughtbsony xperia and samsung duos are envy with looks and overall performance of Coolpad.neighbors envy owners pride.thanks spice....cheers

Hi, I am looking forward to buy Spice coolpad Mi-515 but want to know that - 1 - In this phone you can set separate ring tones for two separate sim. means only a single ringtone will work for both the sim, no identification, on which sim u r getting the call without seeing the screen. 2 - You can't assign ring tone for different contacts, means 5 different ringtones for 5 different contacts to identify them. is it possible by the downloaded mobile apps for both the queries. I don't know about mobile apps as this will be my first android phone.

I bought this phone 2 days ago and I must say never go on Brand for mobiles but specs. What a 30k phone of Samsung/sony/nokia can do, this model of Spice can do even more. I played subway surfer for half hour straight...no lag...turbo 3d, fruit ninja..angry birds...the phone works without a lag. The design looks sophisticated and catches the eye at once. the camera quality too is gud in dark and light..net speed if 3G it's awesome..2G is not bad..tethering is direct which is awesome too...i'm writing this review tethering my mobile to my PC ;-)interface unlike other brands is simple and highly authentic..rather than plastic..music quality is bad but downloading a player for songs and videos will work fine...images and videos look self esteemed and vibrant.. Was looking to buy a phone within 10k with the best of specs and this stood up to my wish...great phone Spice...only thing u now need to do is manufacture flip covers, pouches and screenguards for tis phone...it'll rock...

i bought this mi 515 spice phone @9500 yesterday 24th july 2013 and i am not facing any problem. since there was only drivers and no PC suite hence i could not connect internet throgh coolpad to my pc..i called spice customer care and they solved my problem on phone only. advised me to on tethering and phone will connect interneton pc automatically.i did exacly same and now i have connected my pc net and writing this review. excellent phone, excellent built-up quality, net speed is also very good. temple run 2 is running as good as on any mobile.....GRAB this...pls note i have bought first time mobile of other company than..NOKIA and SONY....i am satisfied with built quality lokks and performence...saved my 15000.

I have been using did pH since 3 weeks .fully satisfied WD the phone ....only drawback is that its back cover is not in the market...and the camera in low light is not tat good...rest the pH roxx at every point

SAR value is vary less for this phone. So it's a very good phone with nice features. Few phones have more than 1.0 SAR values and which costs more than 20k, still people are buying. So my experience with this phone is satisfactory. U can buy with out any doubt. Thanks.

Antutu Benchmark Score of 12746. it speaks a lot for the phone which is available at this price point. Only difficulty is getting a cover for the phone and managing a scratch guard. Spice should take care of these two aspects as it directly impacts user experience.

The phone looks good. Speed & multi tasking is best in the segment. working very well in all the department. Temple run 2 works best in this phone. didn't tried the other games. Battery life is good. Pixel density is comparable. This phone works on 3G on sim 1 only. I feel camera quality with flash should be improved. although in day light camera quality is better. Available in the market around 10 K. best phone in this segment. Must buy.
