Bought 2 Signature Touch phones from NYC store. They offered to refurbish my original Constellation as is would not charge. I paid over $1100 to get it back and it still does not charge. 2 months later unable to get Vertu to step up to the plate and make it right. Stay away

I have this Vertu constellation what will you say if I just got it less than $14 is that good or not? I just got it somewhere while looking around to buy something a cellphone or gadget then I saw this DIAMOND sitting along w/the other phone's so I asked how much it is she just told me $20 but I asked for discount so she told me $18 but I asked for $14 so she gave the unit for $14 just the unit alone but still w/the original Battery VL-5C same as the BL-5C but the other VL-5C has the Vertu on it the unit I got is 98% clean and smooth, openline so this will be a spare phone and I got Iphone 4G so is that NICE A X-MAS GIFT that ment for me huh?

It is quite sad but comparing phones is a silly game. Let�s compare a 10 bedroom house to a 3 Bedroom Council House. You may not need 10 bedrooms but if you could afford it you would buy it. If you live in a council house that�s overcrowded, envy kicks in and your defence is to question why or what is the point of owning such a large house. You can buy a 15k car that has all the bells and whistles but if you could afford a £100000.00 supercar you would buy it despite having to spend an extra 20k to bring it up to spec of the 15k car. Why because you can and so it goes on. What you need to remember before criticising a Vertu is that the better you buy and the more expensive the item is usually means a better service and longer useful life. People who can afford a genuine Vertu have made it in life, have no need to go to a mates to show off the latest gadget on their phone and ultimately have better things to do than sit around moaning about the big house, flash car or latest plastic feature packed phone. They have what is called a life, in most cases worked hard for a good few years to have a comfortable living, and enjoy living life to the full and if it means that you pay a little extra to have the best then I would suggest that the people on here spend a bit more time looking at their own lives before criticising something that for the most part they will never touch or own. Proud owner of- A Genuine Vertu used to make and receive calls, the whole point of a phone. An Xbox 360 & PS3 to play games on a decent screen A 10mb Digital Camera to take picture A HD Video Camera Most modern conviences 2 Cars 1 Houses A Caravan A Dog A happy and full life having worked for everything and never being in debt to anyone, retired at 45 years old and all my own hair and teeth. Not bad for a dumb Vertu owner.

I think it's great that this phone is made of unobtainium and space-ship steel.It has been said on this forum about how it's fire-proof etc,it would help identifying the human remains after the fire was out.As for dropping off buildings what about the poor pedestrians getting cracked skulls below.For $��10,000 you could have 20 of the very best smartphones around or employ your own concierge on minimum wage for a year.Different strokes I 'spose.

Dear vertu user,i sell on black market mobiles,and i can tell you that chinese are making now more and more perfect copies of vertus. Only menu and graphics on lcd are different,but in exterior they are identical. Putted on a table,2 vertu,1 original and 1 good fake,you don't know wich is original. The biggest problem now is that who will see you with a vertu,will believe that's a copy,even if it's not true. So investment in rich image doesn't have sense

Yes, it's worth it.I used to buy any newest hi-tech phone that comes on sale and rampage through them. I got tired of spending so much money on phones, I decided to buy a Vertu. if this phone costs 20k dollars. from that price i think 19k dollars for decoration and th material used diamons and platinum. vertu uses the same platinum to make their phones the one nasa is using to prepare their space settles. and it is fire proof,water proof,scratch proof. if you throw this phone from the 7 story high building it will not brake or even there will be no scratch on it........that all cost thousand dollars....

It's a special phone, which rich people rely on.....it has a way better signal, u can get network coverage anywhere (almoust) and MOST IMPORTANT it is connected to a special line which u can call and ask a special operator from nokia to rent a yacht for you...or get you a plane ticket where you want. If you are rich...this is what u need, a special line like this. If u get this phone, you get some more special things. And these are only the things that i know of, it has a lot of other services for your security. Im just wondering if this phone is for the rich and famous then how come half of the people in hollywood and others carry around sidekicks and rave about them? Sidekicks are even shown in the movies being used by the rich characters in them. I think these phones are used more by just the rich with no sense and just buy something coz they can rather than the rich and famous who can buy what ever they want but want something that has a whole lot more than just looks. So i have a whole bunch of Vertus and a Nokia N95 8GB, Apple iPhone and a Samsung G800! Having said this, apparently this phone is made for showing off, which is ironic because no-one would recognise it and the wealth it symbolises. So basically, you might as well spend $5000 on my crisp packet and mud sculpture. Wealth would be better symbolised by a phone like the N82; well recognised as an expensive, good quality phone with all the right connotations. A much better showing off tool.

Good phone!!! For me its perfect! I dont need all the shitty features all other phones have...like a bad camera, a bad gps, a bad agenda, etc... I have already a good secretary, a good gps in my BMW. And a good 12mpix small pocket camera!

Just got the Vertu Constellation. An 'upgrade' for me from the Nokia 8800. I thought the 8800 was well built.... well, I am wrong. The Vertu is really something else. A pleasure to use, hold and look at. Everything about this phone is FIRST class. Mixed feelings about the concierge service though... they seem kind of slow getting to my requests.

Spending so much money on a phone is ridiculous especially considering its lack of features and relatively heavy weight. Personally I would go for n95 or wait for the e90, yes they also weigh fair bit but it means I'll have a spare $17k and won't have to carry a PDA around.

i have to agree with vertu and most of you. a phone doesnt need a camera,bluetooth,infra-red or watsoever.if you have the money,why must you buy things with built-in extra features? most importantly,stnad out from the crowd. vertu phones are very stable.

Some lame reactions here... There is a difference between a handcrafted design telephone and a mass production plastic-fantastic, lets make drunk pics, phone. The first one is for the few people who are willing to pay money for a good product that will last years. These are the people who are carefull of their stuff an arent worried about scratches on it due to their behaviour. The other group is for the masses that want a load of functions in a plastic box and buy a new phone every year. So there is a real difference between the two. If you think its to much money for to little functions thats fine, dont come here to take the piss of this phone and yell it sucks. Its just a mindset. Whether you want style and class, and use a phone just for making phonecalls or you want a phone as a replacement for your everyday items as a phone, camera and mp3 player. So its okay that a certain phone doesnt suit your needs. But that is no reason to come here and flame. *hides*

Finally I have it!! Very nice feeling,actually i list it in Jewelries and not in mobile phones.The design is very good...you have to touch it,the photo here doesn't say nothing,believe me!However, the only disadvantage is the poor software abilities.But,as i send in the beginning,we are talking about a jewelry!!!

Yes, this is a very well made, top quality material(inside out) & good looking phone. I'm deciding if I should buy it because:- unlike any other used mobile phones that I can sell easily to mobile phone shops OR trade-in, where or who can I sell the Vertu phone to when I got tired of?

My wife got this phone lately,(a gift from her very rich family)...She barely use it...too heavy...so I used it for a while... Great reception...great feeling...but asside of the technology witch you can find on other cheaper phone...that phone is very glamourous and also the feeling and the quality of this phone is impressive...when I grab my ordinary Nokia after a while...it felt like a cheap peace of plastic made in China... The touch of luxury is always pleasant! If you like quality go ahead if you have the money...but dont buy a vertu just for the technology...

well, i had the VERTU last year, as a gift ! to the best of my opinion- this is something! well, very stylish, and nice, but LACK of functions(I'm an IT professional) it's simply phone for the rich peps. nonthing but SHOWOFF! consider it waste of your precious doe. it's still nokia phone. but truly- look into Nokia N95, or N80 with gold plated faceplate(extra $65.00) and you will get plentiful list of features, style, quality, and SATISFACTION! so long people. Use your Brains, not your walets.

I was one of the lucky guys in Greece, to put my hands on this phone. One of our company's partners came from the Netherlands to visit us in Greece, and he had the constellation. I never imagined what could be a "Hand made original design phone", and I have to admit that I really liked it. On the other hand, imo, they're a bit overpriced so I will stick to my SE v630 and Motorola v1100 for now.. But even if I had those loads of euros I'd prefer to spend them on my new home or save them for those unpredicted times...

It's hand built using the finest materials. It's Exclusive. It has the Concierge service. Sure the S40 interface isn't great but it isn't on the Nokia 8800 either! It's a phone, it makes calls, get over it. The best thing about the constellation is the price! Not many people have them (quite rare), but more importantly it means you don't look for phones every month cos' your bored!

Big expectations, disappointing result. Nice body, exclusive materials and...big piece of sh.. inside! Starting with 16mb of memory, ancient UI and ending with mediocre sound quality and cheap looking display. It's like 911 with Ford Focus engine inside. Thanks Vertu, I'll pass.
