ZTE Blade V - User Reviews

  • you just need to know how to handle android. you need to turn off auto updating of apps. you need to root this and strip unnecessary apps. App2sd is very good but you need to partition your sd card.

  • Been using this phone for almost a year. For the price its good but it has couple of flaws aswell. Battery life is bit dissapointing. Internal memory is full even if android reads half still free. For a quad core smartphone its not very snappy. camera is somewhat poor but if you get used to its limitations you can get some decent photos. Worth its price but if possible get some more money and go with something better and you will be far happier.

  • I cant find any cheaper than 100 euros anywhere

  • On eBay, you can find touchscreen for 18 GBP.

  • Carrying the phone and are very pleased with it , but I was cracked and the touch should be replaced ! Does anyone know where to find touch ? Thank you ! [email protected]

  • Good phone for a low budget. But you should spend some more money for an good phone.

  • You need the internet settings for the phone. Easy if you call the network provider or use their support website

  • Bought this to use with tesco mobile everything works great but can't get internet unless at home with my virgin WiFi have another tesco mobile sim but just the same is there something I need to switch on

  • Rubbish Phone Took up a special deal from Virgin based on a very good tariff deal and a gamble on the phone. First few months no problems. Then the headphone socket stopped working and sent it back for repair. Been ok since. However, started getting memory issues with the phone saying insufficient storage space when updating it's own apps. this has been ongoing since then and in spite of deleting every downloaded app, photo, email etc. etc. and stopping many of the phones built in apps and resetting them to delete previous updates it is still short of memory space. So much so that now it can't update it's own apps like facebook etc. Not even a year old yet. will be complaining to Virgin shortly. Do not buy this phone!

  • Adreno 203

  • Gpu?

  • very good phone...worth its money...no lags at all and very fast

  • Hey, I wonder if the apps can be forced to external sd without root by the pm set installLocation 2 method on zte phones? Ie- Download sdk Turn on debugging Use adb pm shell set installLocation 2 (external sd) I hsve used this successfully on other jellybean Phones to install loads of apps inc gta iii, nfs etc Bobb

  • Press power button and volume down at the same time

  • Hi, anyone knows is there screen shot facility available on ZTE Blade V, if yes then how we can take a shot. thanks

  • Apss2SD

  • no apps or games go on SD card all are downloaded to internal storage

  • Not every Android phone has an SD card slot.

  • Not every Android phone has an SD card slot.

  • You dont have to wory about internal space in any android phone... Everything (apps, games, videos) goes on sd card with or without root...

  • I have had a ZTE Blade V since October. I get more than a whole day out of the Battery with WiFi, BT and Data on all the time. On the queries about memory there may be 4 GB of memory in the phone, but it is split into the RAM, the Internal Phone Memory of 1 GB and a logical SD card of 1.5 GB. All apps transferred to SD card by Apps2SD go onto this logical SD card. The external real SD card is only for media and some media goes onto the internal SD card. If the phone is rooted the SD cards can be swapped or Link2SD used to locate apps on the real SD card.

  • my zte blade v has 900 mb internal storage while the specifications show 4 gb.Why?

  • hi. does this device use apps2sd to shift stuff off the small internal memory onto the site card?

  • this phone looks awesome, and has power " under the hood" in many magazines in my country this phone got the Best Buy title... like they said that ZTE on this phone trimmed the "fat" (cam, display) to lower its price but they gave it raw power( great cpu, 1gb ram, big internal memory) so ppl who dont use their phone to take profesional pictures ( there are cameras that do that you know, btw you dont need a 20 MP camera to take a picture for your FB profile picture 5-8 MP will be more then good) will find this to be the best buy...

  • hi i own this phone (cosmote xplore) for 1 month carrier locked cosmote romania. its a great device due to the quadcore processor and 1gb ram. the low battery life is my only complain (under 15 hrs wi-fi or data plan always on). planning to get a new one for my wife also...

  • The ZTE Blade V is available on PAYG from Virgin Media £81.99 Great device for the price and works very well.

  • It's a quite good smartphone, excellent actually, if you consider the price. The 1Gb Ram is in fact about 800mb of which only a little over 500mb that you can really use, but it's enough, and the Quad-core processor handles very good multi-tasking. Benchmarked it and it ranked above HTC One X(4825 total) . It's solid, the screen is great(though not so good in bright sunlight), the camera as well, but the battery life is a bit under one's expectations.Fast browsing, Wi-fi works smoothly, but the phone gets slightly hot if you're using it as a hotspot while you're also playing a game or something. The speakers are decent, but the headphones maximum volume should've been a little higher, even though the quality is great. Overall, a fantastic low-range smartphone.

  • It is not yet available, but there is a rebranded version of it named Cosmote Xplore and it's not carrier locked. There's little difference, it just has 'Cosmote' printed on the back case and the startup logo is also Cosmote's. It's available for Cosmote Romania, but I don't know if you can find it in other countries too, or if you can have it shipped.

  • Me too....can't track one down to buy. Anyone help?? Thanks

  • Hello All, Could somebody to tell me Where can I buy it online? with shipping in EU I can't find it anywhere

  • 0.62 W/Kg

  • I was searching for a cheap mobile and this i tell u is the one!!!! Its accurate on everything u want to do,really fast and in games even better.. Fast on web browsing typing and calling... By downloading CPU identifier from play store u will see what i mean....(specs almost like samsung mobiles) The only cons i found so far is camera quality(could be better i suppose) and phone memory cause to android jelly bean capacity.. Nevertheless for only 159 euro i recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap Quadcore mobile phone...

  • The phone is excellent and have been using this for a month. Its a bargain

  • Hi, does anyone know the SAR levels for this phone? Many thanks in advance.

  • It is, according to: I'm quoting: > The back panel and battery are removable, revealing a full-size SIM slot and microSD slot, while the microUSB charging port is on the left-hand side in the middle, just below the volume rocker.

  • has anyone buy this phone? its good?

  • does this phone have a removable battery?

  • Hi, also bought this fine, any idea where i can get accessories for this phone (case and screen protector)

  • in greece it's the cheapest quad-core smartphone. only 170 euro, extremely good value. i don't really like though the only 7.2mbps 3g internet and the screen is just a plain dull screen. i would also like an a/b/g/n dual band wifi....

  • for £71.99 as a Virgin customer this phone is incredible value. Every bit as good as the s3 mini it replaced. I am not a heavy user but for use as a phone, some web browsing, and the occasional video streaming this device cannot be faulted.

  • Nice enough phone. Screen can be a bit unresponsive and it fells plastic. Performs well, but the feel of the blade 3 was superior, however, there is no doubt this is a faster phone.

  • the specs are ok to work with for a medium range phone...but i still think more could have been done for the blade IV

  • Best for every1 this company made best and low price devices I have allready a blade mobile

  • Quad core, 5 megapixel camera, fairly long lasting 1800 mah battery. This phone sounds really good I plan to buy it
