ZTE nubia Z17s - User Reviews

  • have bought the zte nubia z9 n z17 i ve ordered 2 pieces of nubia z17s also planning to buy z20 in the future (if it still has the truly bezeless glass)

  • i have the z9 n z17 im planning to buy z17s n z20 (if it still has the truly bezeless glass)

  • bought nubia z17 somewhere in april-may 2018 and received pie upgrade in early july 2019 . although i have downloaded pie but i have not started the update , because im afraid it might still contain bugs , so can anyone tell me whether there is any bug or shorten its battery life before i update to android pie version

  • i cannot find this phone in taobao anymore for the new one , can anyone please help me

  • and so do i brur

  • thats right bro I too have been wondering of what he meant

  • @jman0 bro what do u mean by ' it off the battery during the whole day ' ?

  • Very decent phone, it got great LCD screen (produced by JDI), and everything is not bad, the price is totally worthy.

  • I've been using the 8/128 for about a month now and I'm more that delighted with it. Yes, the software has stayed (and will probably stay) on Android 7.1.1. But, as long as they update the security patches, I'm ok with it, since the phone works like a charm. Great CPU and GPU, more than enough memory, more than enough storage, great cameras. etc. On the latest official firmware, battery is amazingly well optimized, and the 3100 mAh, which may seem too low, offer enough juice for the day, and more. I charge the phone overnight and unplug it at around 7:30. Then I keep it off the battery during the whole day, and at home, I use it as a modem via tethering. and I go to bed with 30-35% battery. All in all, a great option these days. Now that Z18 is out, you can find this even at €300 (that's what I paid for it) and you get a high-end phone. It's not using the latest Qualcomm flagship, but the difference is very little.

  • Very dissapointed because of the soft development I mean Rom's tehy don't actualize at all new devices get Oreo 8.1 this nice product stock at Nougat 7.1.1 ! Also Huawei get Pie very soon so ZTE they make good phones but lack of soft development ! Not buying from ZTE soon !

  • Beautiful Design ! I like it

  • i love this phone's specs and price. waiting to buy Z18 which will be unveiled this month hopefully.

  • What about z11? Is the software ok?

  • That's why it have quick charge 4

  • i have to own this phone n one fine day i surely will

  • absolutely

  • Does it stereo speaker?

  • how is the battery life?

  • Those ugly phones with notches really need to learn from ZTE. Ah, the Nubia phones are always beautiful.

  • The problem is the battery, it is too small for all these powerful hardwares inside!

  • is dis gud fon

  • This is the best phone that I used, so far. Everythings goes smooth and the snapdragron 835 + 8G ram is hugh!!!

  • If this phone did not remove the basics of the hardware of Nubia z11, then i must buy this phone. WHY and WHY? you remove the 3.5 jack, hybrid sim slot, IR blaster and more battery power at least 4,000mAh, and perhaps add a wireless charging, then even if this cost $600 i will surely buy this phone since i have the z11 at the moment.

  • No headphone jack... Damm no buy from me.

  • when will it be launching in Indonesia?

  • Only problem with Zte specially Nubia phones are android updates, still stuck with Nubia Z11 with Android 6 with security patch of 5 December 2016.

  • Ive got 2 ZTE Nubia phones.. Z11 and M2, and they are juz awesome and a big bang for your money...

  • say no to zte phone because of their slow updates software and laginess.

  • New gen Amoled doesnt burn in so easily

  • I don't think so..amoled can cause burn in problem..and expensive

  • it is very unfortunate the phone is perfect except for a few flaws the modem is low category lacks more band while we have a snapdragon 835 which manages the x16 and bluethoot version 4.1 while we arrived in version 5 and the battery a little low otherwise it would be the perfect phone by its characteristics and size

  • Does it have hybrid sim slot ..and supports memory card expansion or not???????

  • The Archos Diamond Omega is the rebranded version of the Nubia Z17s, So they are the same.

  • this is fone have same specs with Archos Diamonds Omega.. just so you happen to have compare both fone..

  • Does it have OTG?

  • ZTE NEEDS TO USE SOME AMOLED...great specs but we need amoled with those specs

  • I agree, no card slot is a problem, even with 128GB onboard.

  • Yeah and you'll use it with"real" 1 gigabit network right?

  • NO IR

  • Review pls..

  • Can anyone confirm that it does come with the IR blaster? Tks

  • And no LTE Band 28.

  • no mistake, arhcos is re branded nubia for france

  • Will be much better of water proof / Dust proof..

  • No card slot. No 3.5mm. dinky 3000 mAh battery. Stretched 1080p display. No AKM DAC anymore. Total fail from ZTE.

  • For its price phone looks gruesome even no SD card and other things. Battery should be much bigger with that screen. But who I am I to judge.

  • With its thickness if indeed it is, there so much space for 3.5 mm jack coz there are lots of phones out there have even thinner than this yet have 3.5mm jack...Why Nubia???

  • Wireless charging and IP68 should be part of the specs before i will buy phone. I had z11 and its good phone overall...

  • i think this is a mistake of gsmarena this phone specifations as same as z17s Archos Diamond Omega if its true, this will be big juke because everything are the same, JUST BRANDED

  • when this phone will be available in india

  • You forget to mention its Cat9 4G speed , haha that's sd835 lacks some high speed chip . shame on ZTE what hell are they doing oh ? even sd821 uses cat12 go for mate for cat18

  • Poor Battery !

  • Excellent Specs! Only wish it had Micro SD support and a 3,500 mAh battery. In the era of everything HD, I wish more phone manufacturers would realize the necessity in having Micro SD support. Because cloud storage is not the industry standard yet, many people want to have access to their pictures, music, videos, and documents on their person at all times. And when you add on the apps into that, 128GB runs out a lot quicker than most people realize. Especially when you take into account that at least 18-20GB of that is system use.

  • And again no OIS or EIS? Are they kidding with us? This is not a mid-range device, so it is unforgivable to not add OIS, or EIS. And this one also lacks a 3.5 mm jack. The new trend is weird.
