Everything else is good but... It's said camera is 16mp but it's so blurry and not HD and obviously not 16mp. Before months the phone just died. When someone is calling me, it calls but my phone no picture no sound. Just dead. Today this happend again. And I don't like that the phone cannot be open.

The phone is amazing. I remember when I bought it a year ago in the android benchmark it scored 2nd. Money wasn't my problem when I purchased it, I simply wanted extreme performance and this was the go-to phone for me. It easily competed with the top models back then and had half their price. The yamaha audio amplifier with the very decent included headphones make music an amazing experience with this phone, especially if you have a well built music app such aspoweramp. The front camera is probably still the best front camera for a phone to this day, an extremely fast 8mp camera. The camera on the back also has the potential to take amazing pictures but as someone mentioned before me if you have shaky hands it's going to be a bit of a struggle since the camera does not have an image stabilizer. You might also want to grab a color correction app. Performance-wise it has been amazing for me, extremely fast, browsing the internet never felt easier, high-end games run smooth. Battery life is ok-ish. Design is beautiful, it had the biggest display at the time of it's release and it has a very elegant overall feel. Overall for me it has done the job, I wanted a great phone and bought this a year ago and I was very pleased with it. Right now if you have the money, there are def better options. But if you do not want to spend that much but still want a great phone go for this, it hurts to see people recommending bullshit low performance phones on forums just because they have a big brand name attached.

CONTRA: This version of Gionee rebranded by Allview in Romania still has only Android Jelly Bean ... YES you read it corectly, with a powerful chipset that released can eaven record 2k video's, you are limited at this jelly bean . It does not support 1080p playback ( probably because of version of Android ? ) No memory slot extension, i find 32gb insuficient, you have only 22gb for storage . Screen is not so bright Screen will turn yellow from heat after a whyle . AND NOW ONE OF THE MOST BAD THINGS : your storage partition is fat32, you cannot copy or download files who are bigger than 3gb's ( I suspect Android Jelly Bean is the reason ) . I have errors at Alarm and Clock app since i bought it . I sincerely dont recommend this phone, maybe from second hand with waranty if you can get it very cheap, like 150Euros top price, full package . If not, dont buy it. Not worth it. After my experience with Allview, i dont recommend anyone to buy from them . Worse client support .

I have to admit, I was disappointed on the 16mpx camera for my first 3 months with this phone because my hands are shaking very bad and there is no stabilizer for the main camera. But, after trying all the setting combos, I gladly rediscovered my phone! If you know how to set it, X1 Xtreme takes some WONDERFUL pictures! It simply flies on the web with a wifi connection, no lag. I currently have 80 games and 20+ apps installed, including big apps(2gb+). If you usually hold more than 32gb stuff on your phone, the lack of a microsd slot might be a minus. Never got "low memory" notification, I'm happy I don't know how that looks on this phone! If you ever got hands on a phone which has BRAVIA ENGINE, I don't exagerate when I say that this phone's screen looks much better. The speakers are amplified with DTS(you can switch it on/off; gives you extra bass and other settings). Battery life depends on how you use the phone. It has an economizer which expands the battery life, has been working great. It dries fast if you watch a full movie after you play a high def game for 2 hours, and having a bunch of background apps running. It also has a good task killer, a visitor mode, shortcut to camera/lantern/customizable fake call/recorder. I have been using it for 6 months and never had problems with it. (even dropped it once and it has no scratch)

The good side: I have this phone since December 2014. Great performance, very responsive, best CPU/GPU I ever had my hands on. Great display ( although auto brightness is not very reliable, I always prefer to set the brightness myself ) The bad side: Two month after I got the phone, the front camera stopped working. I contacted the support, they instructed me to do a complete phone reset and restore. This didn't do anything to my problem, so they asked me to send the phone back. As I don't really use the front camera, I didn't sent the phone back for this minor annoyance. All in all it is a good phone, far better than my previous HTC One-X ( which was a piece of crap ). Although very cheap, feels like a high end phone.

This should be a review section, all I want to know is if the phone is good, if it's working properly and this kind of stuff. To those guys that say they are Romanians and still make stupid comments about Allview or their products ... yes it matters if you make stupid allegations and show hatred for Romanian people / companies or products no matter if they are good or bad, that says something very different and not good about you. Now ... that being said I will ask this, is iPhone american ? Is all Samsung Korean ? Right, this is the proper answer: iPhone made the design of the phone but the actual manufacturer is Foxconn, of course it is manufactured according to Apple specifications but nevertheless it is made in China 100%, Apple doesn't have a factory in USA to manufacture iPhones so is iPhone american ? Samsung made the design and as far as I know they do have some manufacturing facilities in Korea but I think they sell those on the Korean market, anyway, the majority of every other Samsung phone or tablet is made in China, so Samsung phones Korean or Chinese ? Now about Allview, they have a say in the manufacturing process as well as far as I know and they do have an assembly line in Romania and I believe that due to their agreement with the Chinese manufacturer they can alter the configuration / specs. of the phones hence the higher number of models with different names but very similar in specs and / or design not to mention that the said company that "created" the design for the X1 eXtreme does not have so many models also the software is done by Allview. I personally do not have an Allview phone but I am the happy owner of a Viva i8 tablet and there's nothing wrong I can say about it, it just runs anything that my son threw at it and rarely I've seen errors but even then they were because of malware and other stuff like that, factory reset and another few months of happy using, excellent stereo sound, very good design, display, no comment, maybe the camera could be better. So, after I saw the specs and review for the X1 Xtreme I had the "I want it" feeling and I will have it soon enough. Overall, the specs / performance price and design will not justify for me buying a Samsung or iPhone of same specs. it seems stupid to throw money away like that and yes I'm proud that the Allview company is from Romania and I'm sure if they had the same presence outside Romania many other brands will lose big market shares because Allview products can compete with most mid-range to top brands in the world, clearly they do not make junk.

Very disappointed about the phone, it was a limited edition, and from the day 1 the phone restarted itself having 98% battery, then in the next 7 days that followed it restarted 2 more times. All my interlocutors complained they didn't hear me very well, also many times the connection was lost. My complain is about the phone which I'm very disappointed of but more than that, is about the Customer Service. I contacted them in the 8th day of having the phone. They finally took the phone in the 15th day. We're now in the 26 day and they told me the guarantee was annulled and they will come back with the pictures tomorrow. I'm very pissed off with them that they claim I made a damage to the phone. It's my word against theirs!!! I can't believe I was stupid enough to trust them and buy from them even though I had read bad reviews in the past. No more Allview for me, my family nor my friends!!!

I got this phone 1 month ago and it never blocked or lagged. I installed over 20 games (and still had free memory) and even the 2gb+ games played smooth! The 16mpx camera might be a bit unpleasant at first, it's different than other cameras. The sound is extraordinary! You can choose to use dts eq which boosts the sound with bass! I did not drop it, hopefully never will, but the screen is resistent to nails and sharp little stuff hitting it

My gf has one. It work very good but i dont like that the lock button is on the top and it has a pretty wierd UI. She changed the launcher to Nova, and now it looks and feels pretty awesome. Also you would need to make some small adjustments, but overall it is a good phone.

Dear Patrix, employee of Allview, I only stated that Allview only imports GIONEE devices and sels them as their own, if they were saying they were shipping those GIONEE ELIFE E7 from China and selling them in Romania it wouldn't be a problem(in fact i would appreciate them for doing business) - DON'T SAY YOU DEVELOPED AND PRODUCED A PHONE WHEN IN FACT GIONEE DID ALL THAT, AND ALLVIEW DIDN'T HAVE ANY ENVOLVMENT IN THE CONCEPTION AND EXECUTION OF ANY OF THE DEVICES THEY SELL AS THEIRS. Look here on GsmArena at the Gionee products and you will find your ORIGINAL phones or tablets BY the way the other firm(outside Romania) that is doing what allview is doing is some Blu.. company(don't worry Allview it's not the only one in Romania, E-boda does the same - i was amazed when i saw 2 tablets, one from Allview and one from E-boda, that looked the same and had the same specs - so don't be ofended Allview, you are not the only GIONEE importers in Romania). As for the software i have a friend with a GSM service and has a lot of GIONEE with ALLVIEW software that malfunction, so yes i know what i'm talking about(tha's what happens when you put an interface over a GIONEE one, an interface that had already been tampered with by GIONEE - SOMETHING BAD IS BOUND TO HAPPEN to that Android version). Guys, an alternate for this GIONEE ELIFE E7 or Blu.. or Allview X1 Xtreme is the ONE+ One phone, a phone that is both powerfull, has quality parts inside it, the know how from the former OPPO VP and with a moderate price. Is this a beauty contest or do you really think that any of this matters? If they really are importers or whatever you want to call them, I still don't understand how dose this make it a bad phone. There are quite some reviews on this phone with pros and coons just like any other phone. I can guarantee you this. Romanian software engineers are not that bad and I know that electronics are very appreciated in this country as well. You can't support anything with complete negative reviews just because they are not completly made in Romania and this results in offending your own country for that. Never the less political frustrations over the years can really make you start saying that Romania is BAD and anything made there is BAD even if it is genuine or not. I remember back in the days when Nokia was fabricated in Romania and still remains one of the most durable phones I've ever had, so don't go telling me that Romanians are not capable of doing electronics. On the other hand, I will remind you that if you want to make a useful comment prove to me how is this device good/bad by using relevant factors, preferably technical ones.

Guys look at the Gionee Elife E7. It is the same phone. Allview is just an importer of mobile phones. They do not invent anything. They are designing a little software for the phones. None of the phones are not made by Allview. And it is not the only company that is doing like that. Open your eyes. Good luck.

Hello, They have production and assembly lines in Brasov where the company is. Also the software is 100% made and added in Brasov. Yes, it's a rebranded phone but it's made in Brasov. The current price is 1600 lei (around 350 eur). A Galaxy note 3 is 1980 lei from a no name dealer. From Vodafone, Orange, Telekom the Note 3 is around 2300 lei (520 eur). The only phone from Samsung simillar in price is the S4 wich has lower specs. Don't compare the Xperia Z1 with it wich has a bad screen (also, lower specs). The Z2 is around 2000 lei (450 eur). X1 Soul Xtreme, beats every other phone hands down price/performance. Point, end of discussion!

Hi all, If being assembled in China means that is not Romanian than Samsung is not Korean neither ! Neither most of NOKIA, Motorola, SONY etc etc....even iPhone! Most of these phones..maybe 80-90% of the phones are made/asembled or made AND assembled in China but this does not stop Apple to claim iPhone as American phone for example (and by the way...the software is the only American part of iPhone but....most of the engineers are asian). Considering all these aspect I say that Allview is Romanian in the same way iPhone is American phone...made in CHINA :P

Yoou're talking about note 3 neo. That one isn't full HD (so of course, lower pixel density), it doesn,t come with gorrila glass, has only 1,3 CPU, only 8 MP camera and only 2 GB RAM. Don't compare this flag ship with note 3 neo who comes only with 16 GB of storage memory. It has better specification than note 3 (normmal). It's top spec, slightly better than the galaxy s5. It is very cheap at 1799 Lei. You can compare it with the normal note 3 but it costs 2229 so the Allview is almoust 20% cheaper at the same quality and in a few month the price will only go down. It does not have a stylus though...

You would have to be really crazy to buy this! This phone is NOT "Made in Romania". People claiming so are just plain stupid. This phone, like ALL other Allview phones are "Assembled in PRC" (CHINA). We do NOT have a single smartphone factory in Romania. Romanians criticizing me for being "unpatriotic" or something, for criticizing this phone, can shove it. There is nothing patriotic about this Chinese phone. If it was "Assembled in Romania" it would have been a different story, but it's not, so whatever! This is just a re-branded Gionee Elife E7, which is a brand from China, Shenzhen, Shanghai. PRICE for this phone is also way over the top. As of 28 MAY 2014, this AllView X1 Xtreme costs 1850 RON ($575) while SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 N9005 costs exactly the same 1850 RON ($575). These prices can be verified on price.ro NOTE 3 is bigger, better, faster and 10 times more stable than Allview X1 Xtreme. Even though Note 3 has a 13MP camera, the pics taken with Note 3 are also 10 times better than X1's 16MP camera. Videos shot with X1 are also ONLY Full HD, NO 4K......
