Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL - User Reviews

  • Ivan, it only looks good, and specs look nice, i'm actually extremely disappointed by the phone. Camera doesn't make good photos, battery life after a year of usage becomes extremely short, needs recharges in 3-4 hrs. Internet pages open in random resolutions so I need to adjust manually... Wouldn't buy it, if I were more clever then.

  • Where can buy this device!? I need it, but now is available only in eBay, im in UK and that is big problem... out of stock :( only one, maybe a new upgraded versions are available... and the price is threeple :(((

  • Hi everyone ok my experience I am 42 years so I change a lot a phone and tablet my asus phone android it was cheap about 100£ and first time in my life I still love this phone after 3 years, nothing wrong me...just asus forever and I take a laptop Asus 300£ very happy long battery life 4 years I love it always asus more than happy

  • This phone was originally categorized with Dual Active SIM. When did this change?!!?

  • Please dont buy this phone. Im own one. Regret it.

  • A lot of good things in this phone except the battery drain quite fast, I had to charge at least 2 times a day maybe more. Camera is superb, screen is excellent but a lot of bloat ware from asus

  • Disable Google assistant and reboot will fix the sound issue. I guess Asus hasn't fixed that issue

  • oh yeah? same here. i can't hear them. but i didn't try to put on speaker phone. it took awhile before i can hear them i have to wait like 20secs or more, i have to call them thru whatsapp. weird.

  • Soon after I add any apps (Uber, Skype, Instagram, Twitter, ANYTHING) people cannot hear me talking on regular calls. I have to put the phone on speakerphone AND constantly touch the screen to prevent it from going black before they can hear me. YES, I have to continually touch the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

  • Was really impressed with the specs of this phone and performance for the first 3 months, however, it seems as time has gone on this phone seems to regularly "flip out" and go into this boot loop thing. This results in a system reset to be performed and data loss , functionality loss TIME loss!! etc. I am now sitting looking at a phone doing it's bi-annual "flip out", except this time I cannot seem to get to recovery. ASUS has been a huge disappointment in the phone arena. I got a year and a half use out of this thing, but I will not buy ASUS phones again.

  • Having asus for almost one year in Germany And one thing If your phone needs repair it takes lots of time to fix it, between three to eight months. Therefore if you buy it don't count on support team.

  • Storage ufs or emmc

  • I do had both zenfone 3 5.2 inch and zenfone 3 deluxe 5.7 inch. Both takes pretty good lowlight but zenfone 3 some kind of lower noise than zenfone 3 deluxe. Both have 4K video recording and both have detailed 4K video but much noise in lowlight.

  • hi asus user..asus zenfone 3 ZE552KL vs. asus zenfone 3 deluxe ZS570KL..which one more better for low light camera and recording 4k video? someone pls advice me

  • that's not true I have used this Asus phone and it's really good, just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean you should discourage others who are having a good one.

  • Asus becoming bad now a days. Please dont buy Asus. My phone take 1 month to repair. Now problem with mic board and home and recent apps button. Not even reach 1 years. Worse.

  • Purchased in Nov '16, received 12/28/16. By April I experienced several issues with the phone rebooting continually and not able to turn on. Somehow through a factory reset, was able to limp through until August when I had same experience. ASUS Cust service told me the speaker was bad and so they couldn't repair phone until I paid $122. I paid although the speaker was not bad that I was aware of and I needed my phone. I was sent a photo which could not be identified as my phone. ASUS supposedly replaced the battery and the mother board, basically did a complete rebuild or so I was told. I was guaranteed the repairs would be covered for 90 days. Fast forward to Nov 2017. Experiencing same issues plus screen went black and was inoperable. Send phone back to ASUS repair. Today I receive an invoice for a FPC Cable, Back Cover and LCD for $251. I am sent a picture of an unidentifiable phone with a slight crack in the LCD screen. It was not that way when it left here and the packaging arrived undamaged. I am not sure how I could damage an FPC cable which is an internal part but ASUS customer service seems to assert that. I cannot recommend this product for these reasons and for the poor warranty support/coverage of this phone.

  • Please note that this phone (and all ASUS phones) does NOT have MIRROR link compatability!

  • Not at all, unless you are using other "heavy" apps on the background.

  • Your provider/SIM card for sure. You probably need to update your SIM card.

  • Recent firmware update burn my charging port. Happening most on Zenfone 3.

  • I have the phone for 10 months now ... I use it for personal and work, pick it because the promises off hardware and reviewa, coming from Note 4 so comparing : The good: - the camera is better but consumes much more battery, - perfomance is better, but in my normal use lasts half a day 5/6h, Note 4 did last at least 9h... - yes, it does has a lot off memory, but it manages very badly... Using in work, photos, GPS, pdf, emails, net, past 3/4 hours jams constantly... - it fails on basic, phone ... Network is worst than Note 4, my partner in same carrier in same place has is iphone constantly with good network and uses facetime, me, can't even maintain a stable voice call. - voice call fails, when I'm using both hands and hold the phone with shoulder... - software UI ... Is nice for those who use Facebook and such ... For a real use as work terminal is bad ... The contact search sucks my galaxy S had better phone software... - lattly I need to carry a batery bank with me so it can last my day :( ... Sometimes gives error on SIM connection and reboot is needed.. - file management is under Note 4... - sensors are very bad ... Proximity had made many calls in my pocket... GPS sucks vs Note 4 ... Compass error prone... Gives error keeps oscillating... I use it for work just payed for calibration apps and all, just sucks... Resume : Has better hardware than Note 4 ... But sucks at all fields ... Except on photo and is in 3/4 hours from a reboot, in use, 6/7 hours ... Takes long to take photo and software just jams the phone sometimes...

  • Clean handset with equally clean signal for a phone thats all metal with no pantie antennae lines. The FM radio pick up is excellent you almost have to be a professional photographer to get the right settings modes for crispy pics. This device reminds of quality builds from blackberry which i still have along with Fiio A3/E11K audio amp i get crisp clean sounds that finish like a bottle of smithwicks.

  • Is that this phone will heat up high, when during talk time or when using gps?

  • I had the very same experience. I loved my zenfone 2 but I am a LG customer now.

  • Your provider. I got this problem and my provider updated my sim with a newer LTE capable one.

  • I am using this phone for 1 year now, and I have no problem whatsoever. I have more than 65 apps and the phone can handle many apps at a time. The response of the phone is super fast and opening of Apps and closing of Apps is very fast. Closing all the apps with one button is fantastic. The battery is not bad.

  • I have this phone for almost an year now. Only in rare moments it is irresponsive (without the sensitive mode activated, because you can use the screen even with gloves if you want!). For that specific game, it may be a problem with the game itself... idk...

  • I have this phone for almost an year now. You choose if you want it to be active or stand by. Easy!

  • Does this phone have same problem with zenfone 3 max..touch screen is unresponsive when playing heroes evolve..any one knows?thanks btw

  • The phone is upgradable to android 7.0 nougat and the multitouch is up to 10. Add these specs please. It's the deluxe :)

  • Is it dual sim active or dual standby? Here mention standby and active also, confused, any one explain me what's actual ?Dual stand by or dual active?

  • Are you jokking?ZF 3 Deluxe is not compareable with A7 2017.

  • Me?no.but users is saying this.Asus Support desk too.i have a conversation about Zenfone 3 serie and Zenfone AR.both of them supports Infra-Red remote control. So you can use it as a TV remote control or ... . Good Luck.

  • do yourself use this sensor for remote control in zenfone 3 deluxe ?

  • u r welcome

  • Thank you My friend :)

  • Agreed!

  • It's not a PROBLEM!Asus is letting you choose from a lot of models with different Usage and different configs. You choose what you want.Doing very high Graphical games:Zenfone AR/3 Deluxe se. Photography and video:Zenfone AR/3 Deluxe se/3 Zoom. for Normal usage Zenfone 3/3max

  • Is it SDXC?You must buy SDXC for this phone.not normal SD.

  • You can Use for both.As a remote control or a Laser focus. In zenfone 2 laser it wasn't a IR sensor.

  • Are you serious?

  • can i use this phone as remote control with this ir sensor ? ir sensor is for camera laser or remote control ?

  • I have a ASUS ZenFone 3 deluxe zs570kl it's has fm radio. But your inform that no fm radio in this phone. Plz inform me as early as possible.

  • Zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.7" has infrared(IR sensor). that can be used for Remote Control.but we're seeing that is laser. Zenfone 3 Deluxe is an SPECIAL phone that can be used for:mobile games,VR('cuz of OLED and Super AMOLED),photography, video recording, and etc... . Good luck.

  • I already did.. From exfat to fat32 to ntfs to ext2.. But nothing work.. Even a glimp. And i also change my sd card excria to samsung evo plus 64gb

  • I already did.. From exfat to fat32 to ntfs to ext2.. But nothing work.. Even a glimp

  • Try to format your 64GB SD card to FAT32 file format.

  • I have zenfone 3 deluxe 5.7 inch.. My problem is about sd card.. I have toshiba exceria 64gb i insert it into my phone but it doesnt read.. So i try my old sd card which is kingston 16gb .. And its work well.. Is their an specific sd card for zenfone 3 deluxe?

  • It is equal to LTE

  • My Asus Zenfone 3 deluxe zs570kl does not display 4glte. All the phone shows is 4g or 4g+. Is this normal, does this equal 4glte...

  • "gaming" on a phone. Lulz

  • Both good in gaming, but Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL way more better cuz it powered with SD820 while Zenfone 3 ZE552KL only SD625

  • we want to dual sim n memory card option...

  • Which is good for Gaming ASUS Zenfone 3 ZE522KL or Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL?

  • Asus and other brand phone come out so many model so fast that very big problem

  • Hi. My zenfone 3 deluxe (running android7) never shows 4g+ symbol (my s7 does). i want to know is it the case for all deluxes or is there something wrong with my provider ?

  • 3000mah battery? very poor :(

  • There is no Infrared. But its having Laser foucs technology. And its supports to OTG.

  • Battery performance is average. You can use 12-14 hours on normal use.

  • How is the video camera? I noticed that it can record in 4k or 1080p. Given that this phone's battery is very weak, which resolution option is better to use? I can't find any info on how many hours can be recorded on a full charge. Also, does this phone take better video & pictures than the Huawei Mate 8?

  • Thanks for the reply

  • i need to know only the battery life... anyone please tell me how lomg it lasts?

  • Infrared for Remote Control ? OTG ? have these ?

  • Yes, Its having FM

  • Intel is best for computer but not successful in mobile .........and currently Qualcomm is doing great in Mobile technology so go with Snapdragon only.

  • Nearly a year still no review.

  • Does this have a FM Radio?

  • infrared are what remotes use, so you can send out signals to function tv's and other stuff.

  • beside camera... right.

  • This is my review after more than 2 months using this superb smartphone Pro Superb camera Good output audio Good customizing setting Always on display has option to select design/type Premium buit quality Internal 64 gb 6 GB ram Antutu benchmark can reached 1468935 and sometimes higher and can reached 147XXX and above Smooth apps Hi res audio supported 3.0 usb type C fast charging and fast transfering files Fast reading my dual sim adapter (i need it for put my 2 sims including my memory card together) Has received nougat update Cons Selfie camera became worst when at dark Battery 3000mah is quiet low for sustain for whole day without charging need to prepare powerbank that supported 3.0 Qualcomm quick charge otherwise you'll facing extremely slow charging The speaker doesn't has any bass sound is became worst when turn the volume up to the max and selecting the outdoor option is really a bad idea Zenui keyboard is not that good when u has used samsung keyboard or SwiftKey keyboard

  • Where is Infrared?

  • If you don't mind app incompatibility especially games, then Intel is, well, not bad. Actually it sucks TBH. The incompatibility issue will drive you either up the wall or to the hospital (from smashing your face repeatedly into the wall). Get it only if all you do with the phone is general web browsing (FaceBook, chat, etc). Actually that goes for 95% of phone users. In that sense Intel is good.

  • No doubt, snapdragon is better than intel.

  • Intel is good or drgn?

  • I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. By far the best phone I have ever owned. Fast, long battery life, awesome camera, beautiful screen quality... I've not had one single issue so far and I am constantly using it. If people would learn to shut down their background apps they would see how much better the battery life is. But I guess some just need to complain about something.

  • Same, people are talking about a lot of issues with the upgrade to 7.0 Nougat, but I have none... :)

  • I got nougat update :) And still not found any issue ;)

  • Yes, right hider. no comparison between zenfone 2 and zenfone 3 dlx. both are totally different.

  • It works just fine on all fingers. Sometimes you need to put your finger a 2nd or 3rd time, but no biggie (it works on all angles!). It works if your finger is a bit wet!

  • How's the finger print sensor is it responsive?

  • hello everyone, just a question. would you rather have this or the samsung a7 2017?

  • finally 7.0

  • Finally, upgraded to Nougat

  • I bought the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe Shimmer Gold (ZS570KL) in November 2016 and it mostly delivers (ASUS_Z016D: 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 - 2.15GHz). To all of you saying a lot of bad things about it, please get your facts straight. BATTERY: this phone has powerful hardware specs and so, it OBVIOUSLY requires a good power income. So, all you need to do is minimize the power consumption by not having 10 different background apps running at the same time and consuming battery like candys. I charge it every 2 days +/- and can play demanding games through 3 hours straight without any problem (didn't try further than that as I mostly game on my ASUS desktop). PERFORMANCE: Pretty much great. Had 1 laggy moment that lasted for about 2 seconds from November 2016 until today. And had 1 bug or 2 (software issues, not hardware). 1st bug: the phone frozen 3 different times when I was trying to unlock an application through pattern unlocking and I had to restart it. 2nd bug: The number of unread SMS was showing 109, for example, when in reality it was only 1 or 2 unread SMS. Reseting it fixed those bugs. Not much more I can say about that. Overall, very good performance. CAMERA: Very, very good. Though the 23MP back camera is somewhat a false advertisement as it lacks the excellence it should deliver. BUT, you can count on awesome quality camera and very good photos in pitch dark rooms and some other cool features. Today I upgraded to Android v7.0 Nougat. Great! In case you wish me to aproach on more specific details, feel free to ask.

  • How ironic that this flagship phone didn't get Nougat yet whereas ZenFone 3 users already have Nougat

  • The Android 7 update is due in the next 7 days, you need to be patient

  • I use this device from last October. I also use Asus ROG Computer. Actually the laptop was the reason to rely on Asus to bu a phone. It was a big mistake. There is still no news, not even a word about Nougat update. Shame! I will never spend a cent for any other Asus device ever!

  • This phone has battery issues. My phone has to be plugged into a charger at least twice a day. I get horrible battery life time. Asus needs to roll out an update improving battery life for this phone. Trust me if I would've known it would've been this bad I would've never bought this phone.

  • It seems your phone has battery problem. This phone does not have battery issues.

  • this phone doesn't lag but if you want a more faster smoother experience with this phone,i suggest installing another launcher like Nova Launcher or Google Launcher.the stock ZEN UI launcher seem abit cluttered to me and it seems to work a lot better after switching to Nova launcher.now i'm just waiting for the Nougat update....seeing ASUS's track record on rolling out the next iteration of android, expect a lot of delays and frustration just to see the update get rolled out to the masses.while other devices are getting Android Oreo,we'd still be stuck on Marshmallow...

  • hello, the dual sim is standby or active?

  • Well, my point is, don't get deceived with the spec of the phone, there are more component other than the hardware to choose your phone. My asus prev phone is shitty, i don't know about this one, but considering my 2 prev phone is asus and it's really below my expectation, i just can't bring myself to believe in asus product anymore. If it turns out this phone is better, then i congratulate you, i will still not buying another asus product tho (only the smartphone, lol).

  • Hi Guys.. Which one is better Oppo R9s or Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe because this two phone is in same price

  • i fell so sad when i see you command, someone is less know about phone and write the use less command.

  • Disappointing; no Nougat update and they even don't say when?????

  • I think you should buy it first and experience it before gave the negative comments here without experience it.. And please don't compare asus zenfone 2 deluxe (intel chipset) with Asus Zenfone 3 deluxe (snapdragon chipset) because it's totally different when comparing for whole performance..

  • I don't know why many negative comments in Gsm arena for this smartphone Here is my point of view after using this smartphone more than a weeks Pros Looks premium and beautiful Battery can last longer when compared with S6 edge Plus and Note 5 Beautiful gaming graphics and performance Fast speed performance Nice beautiful camera! Thanks God there's 60fps setup for video recording Cons Fingerprints is not that good when compared with others chinese brand The screen not so sensitive when my finger just got a little bit sweat it became insensitive when touched Lack of memory card dedicated slot (hybrid sim slot issue) Still waiting for nougat update up until today.. (as flagship smartphone Asus should focused for android update)

  • Try disabling the google app,or disable for it to always be listening for "OK google", this wqs draining my battery majorly on a Zenpad s 8.0,also try setting screen brightness to auto.

  • Just root your phone and go with the unofficial is better anyways

  • I own the 570KL with S821 and 256GB onboard storage. Does anyone else notice how the battery drains super quick on this phone? Crazy how my wife iPhone 7 plus blows my phone out of the water when it comes to battery. Asus needs to roll out firmware to improve the battery and roll out Nougat.

  • I think you not set your update to automatic in data or wifi.. Make the phone autodownload and check tje latest firmware on your setting.. There will downliad and update automatic..

  • I own one(256gb ROM, 6gb RAM), it is NOT laggy... Might be the other versions. There are about 4 or 5 versions available. The Zenfone 3(Snapdragon 625 and 4gb of RAM), Zenfone 3 deluxe 5.5" screen (Snapdragon 625 and 4gb of RAM) and finally the Zenfone 3 deluxe 5.7" screen (2 versions, 1 with a Snapdragon 820 and 4gb of RAM and the other with a Snapdragon 821 and 6gb of RAM).

  • I would like to hear about the pros and cons.i seen many review about this phone ,most of the people who bought this phone complaining about the laggy.it is true ?

  • Does it have mirroring screen function?

  • This phone has just Full HD display at premium asking price ?!!?? :(

  • When is the Nougat update? No official information at all!. I will never bu an Asus again!

  • I agree with you, I too have the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML and was swayed by the promises to upgrade the phone from Android 5.0 to 5.1, the update never came. We were then told there would be an OTA update to Android 6, I've been waiting months and that has never arrived either. I contacted Asus and was told that the update to Android 6 had already been rolled out since last August and my device must have missed it. They then gave me a link to download it manually but I was too wary to do it, if it's not an official OTA update I won't do it for obvious reasons. If the update goes wrong and messes my phone up they'll deny any responsibility. I do like the ZenFone 3 deluxe but I can't trust Asus promises to roll out an update to Android 7, once bitten twice shy. Sorry Asus you should look after your customers better and not tell obvious lies because they'll move on to another brand and will never trust you again.

  • Phone have dual sim slot but if you want to use memory card than you gona use it in second sim slot couse taht is how you use memory card if you dont need memory card than you use dual stand by Im using sim 1for sim card and sim 2 for memory card I hope I help little bit

  • hay dear friends how r u??? i hope u r all right there..... i buy asus zenfone 3 delux yester day i m very happy to buy this fone superrrrrrrrrb i love it al thair features out class rom 6 gb and 256 gb ram woo bravo i already have 1plus3 asus this one also superr

  • Hi all, I am contemplating buying this phone but I am seeing a lot of conflicting opinions as to wether this phone is dual sim active or dual sim standby ? GSM arena spec says dual active? Can someone who has put this to the test please confirm? As I wish it to combine my work sim and personal sim into one phone. Thanks

  • Lol check your updates, I have zenfone 2 phone and have 6.0 Android, updated it months ago This phone is amazing, but I'm waiting for next year model, bought my zenfone 2 4gb ram last year

  • why no review? we want to see how sony IMX 318 performs. also want to test if autofocus is as fast as claimed

  • when is the release date in the philippines?

  • Don't hold your breath on getting an Android update from Asus... Those of us with thier flagship Zenfone 2 were told we were getting an update from Android 5.0..... and it turned out to be a LIE... they NEVER provided an over the air update to that flagship phone.. so I have had it for 18 months and am STUCK on Android 5.0..... and it's not that our phone can't do the update... there are versions out there that even provide Android 7.0 for the Zenfone 2, but you must use those third parties to install. I won't touch the Zenfone 3 unless it ships with Android 7... because if they follow past performance you may be stuck with the version they shipped it with.

  • I don't agree with you. I'm one of the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML user. You can't say that Intel processor is power hungry. I've been used it almost 7 months and the battery still good. My phone can last for 6h when I'm playing NFS MW and it's working smoothly. But little laggy when my battery below 15prcent. It depends on how you use the phone. Please try before you say anything.

  • You dont know anything about performance. Game performance is not only depends on ram. You also must see what type processors and gpu its used. Zenfone 2 4GB ram is not high end spec or 'BEAST' smartphone you know. Its also not the flagship. When Zenfone 2 4GB came out, many others brand phone already used Intel Atom Zxxx series. Intel Atom Zxxx series not the powerfull processor for smartphone. Its also power hungry. At its came out, theres was many flagship brands powerfull out there better than Zenfone 2. Samsung S4 came out on the market was a flagship at that time back in 2013. Its used Exynos 5410 Octa for I9500, Snapdragon 600 for I9505 and Snapdragon 800 for I9506 LTE-A version. Its only 2GB. So, please dont think higher ram was better for gaming. Higher ram = better multitasking and others job, process & services. Zenfone 3 deluxe was differents. Its was created for gaming, multitasking and others job, process & services. Look at the processor and gpu. Its high end processor and gpu. Its have 2 model. First one Snapdragon 820 and second one was overclock from Snapdragon 820 became Snapdragon 821. So please try it first before you comments.

  • It is true dear.i also used a Asus device Zenphone2 ZE551ML.it is just an OK device with a 4GB ram.Antutu is worst.it scored only 47000 with awesome specs.comparable to my another device Lenovoa7000 upto 45000 in AnTuTu.

Its created for gaming, multitasking and others job, process & services. Look at the processor and gpu. Its high end processor and gpu. Its have 2 model. First one Snapdragon 820 and second one was overclock from Snapdragon 820 became Snapdragon 821. So please try it first before you comments.

  • Beware of asus 'high spec' turns out to be lack of optimization on their device. I already experienced it with their previous flagship phone zenfone 2, no hope for asus. Just remember that HIGH SPEC is NOT always guaranteed to be BETTER than another phone with lower spec. Changed my phone to one of the biggest smartphone brand and i'm happy with it, not going back to asus anymore. I'm here not trying to be skeptic about asus product or anything, just to warn all of you out there who attracted to this phone because of the 'BEAST' spec, maybe you can compare the performance first to others brand flagship phone before you buy it. Nonetheless, if you like this phone then good for you, I just don't want to be lied with it's 'BEAST' spec that turns out it's much worse than other flagship phone, sounds stupid. My comment on zenfone 2 : -4 gb ram? feels like 2 gb ram, not as great as i expected. i expect the same with zen 3, waste of big ram, my new phone with 3 gb ram is far superior than this. -playing multi games with friend who is using galaxy s4, i'm lagging and my friend isn't, in fact my friend playing smoothly, ??????? at first i thought it was the problem with the internet but that is not the case -maybe there's something wrong with intel proc so the phone is not really optimized, not really sure -overall, zen 2 is a good phone it's just the performance doesn't really reflect on the 'BEAST' spec that is the selling point of this phone, really low expectation

  • I currently have the 256GB special edition and I'm happy with this phone. I just wish Asus would hurry and OTA the Nougat update already. I check every day and nothing. One of my co workers has a One Plus 3T at work and he has Nougat already. Only downside to owning a beastly phone like this is that Asus seems to take it's time with updates. They'll release firmware updates to improve stability of the phone but, they won't release software updates in a timely manner. Besides the software updates this is a solid phone.

  • Wtf! I sent warranty for 3 times, and the problem still existing! No hope for asus....

  • Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL is a top flagship phone and it's been out for a while, I wonder why the staff hasn't been able to review this particular smartphone? I'm really looking forward to a review of this phone as I'm really interested, anyone please?

  • hello dear friends I would like to know if this phone is the one that can dock behind a tablet, if not which one can dock on a station. Can sombody help me? Many thanks.

  • I have the Z.3.D.S.E/256 Although I'm not into all the social stuff that S.phones can do today, I'm very happy with the phone stats. and the overall performance of this gear. The fast charging is great. Love the available space plus the Sd card slot. The latest update seems to up the signal reception and I'm running on the uncarrier in cal. Can't wait to see what else is improved with next update. I feel lucky and rewarded after all that saving up I did for this purshace.

  • My dearest people whom requested me the factwritin.I depends to GSMArena dare and guts to release the factual comments because Asus is very powerful and influential!!!O.K.My comment is about the 256 gigs and $1400+ version!?I think Asus has forgotten Multi -touch up to 10 fingers- No upgrade to android nought- SD 820 and 820 both good chipsets-Gpu quad cores-Wifi no dual and no DLNA-Bluetooth lacks apx-true screen size -Usb not V.3 and otg-battery not 4000 mah-for this overpriced features are excellent-true screen size for users-QHD no-using hybrid without a dedicated memory slot!!!!I am sure they have forgotten to be written down though. • Asus zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.7 6GB ram not good its very small ram

  • Review?

  • Amazon, Bhphoto and newegg

  • All is good except 4 battey. It continuously drains even on standby mode. Ive closed all battery consuming apps and d result is still d same. I think the battery of ASUS 4 dis model w/ AMOled screen, 6GB ram, 4G signal is not good at all compare 2 that of samsung

  • i want this design same as zenfon 2.hope soon

  • hope AZ3Deluxe price decrease fast and i have it free. hahaha

  • I am doing decision too, i decide ASUS zenfone 3 deluxe with 6GB ram & 64GB. this much more cheaper than huawei mate 9 pro and the spec is almost close between these 2 phone.

  • asus zenfone 3 deluxe or huawei mate 9 pro??

  • How the battery specially on data and wifi mode?

  • 256gb internal memory + 256gb memory card, 512gb total!!! SWEET.

  • Radio FM - Yes (Asus Deluxe 256 Gb)

  • Too bad they didn't use a 2560x1440 display. Although some may say 1080p is sufficient for any smartphone display, I prefer that extra DPI from a 1440 display (also prefer IP/IPS type display over AMOLED but that's just a personal preference). Am also hoping OEM's will pay more attention to the secondary camera specs in flagships. They tend to ignore the "selfie" cam. Even when they use a higher MP sensor they leave out OIS or auto focus, etc. Overall this is a sweet device and enjoyable to play with.

  • Turning out to be really great phone so far. Software updates are its best friend. Love the memory specs and the U.S. lte makes it one of the coolest pbones out there. The cons for is the a little small would have preferred these specs on the zenfone ultra ....

  • ...

  • Yes it is

  • Yup..

  • For chipset, normal version has 820, only the special edition has 821, and the price went from 499 to 799

  • Is this model from Asus already available in the Philippines? Please inform...

  • Unlike what is written on the spec list, it has an fm radio as well

  • I had the exact same thought before choosing the zf3 deluxe 750kl over the s7 edge as the zf3 cost about $150 usd less than the s7 edge here in Thailand where I live but it absolutely outspec the s7 edge. The test result and ranking on antutu app also confirmed that my zf3 outperformed the s7 edge by about 10 places. The only thing that I was kinda disappointed with was the look and feel of the android 6.0.1 that came with the phone because I didn't think it looked much or any different from the android 5 version on my ZenFone 2 but will be upgraded to android 7 soon as a matter of time.

  • Hello, Nothing is perfect in the world. Please send your device to the ASUS

  • Hi everyone. I had iphone 7 plus and went to Asus ZenFone 3 deluxe 5'7 with 64gb and have 6gb ram. Bought on November 6th 2016 and not even month and phone has issue with receiver. That is part gives signal to phone and my data and calls are to shit. I bought from best buy and they want help and telling me to go through Asus and Asus will do repair and send me same phone that is having issue. Plus while they doing this repair I have no phone. What a great customer service they both provide. Very bad customer service from both company's. Any suggestions on this. Please contact me on [email protected] . Thank you

  • can i connect this to tv and view files, videos and pic? pls help tnx.

  • Its quite expensive if i have the money to buy a phone like this expensive ill pick s7 edge instead of this. In the inside its very competitive fast and smooth but compare it to s7 edge gorgeous design much better UI, ip68 water proof, fast wireless charging support, ultra fast capturing photos and its very easy to find accessories to s7 edge than this phone, theres a lot that samsung has compare to asus. But if your concern is only you want a metal phone then thats your personal preference but its a stupidity to deny samsung s7 edge is much much better compared to zenfone3 delux.

  • youre actually right on the 3k battery, me myself asking that question also, the thing is i dont get the fact that asking about waterproof coz its just beacuse about how are you being careful on your mobile phone and besides theres alot of alternatives on the waterproof gadgets whn it comes to camers if thats gonna be your reason that you want to take a shoot under the water, more or likely even though its a waterproof mobile phone i dont want to use my mobile phone on the water, i just want to take care of it.

  • The bezels on the Xperia XZ actually complement the phone cause its part of the metal unibody, but the bezels on the Zenfone 3 Deluxe literally don't blend in with the metal as it's black, but the entire phone is not black. I actually don't care about the thickness of the bezels, I care about how much it "complements" the phone, in which this phone does a terrible job at (this goes for all Xiaomi phones and some other Chinese brands too).

  • In January.

  • When is the Nougat update? Any clue?

  • It's Great it's just that the Battery is just 3K ?! and it's not yet Water Proof :(

  • this phone is awesome just look at all the specs. Now this is what I call a smart phone

  • I actually waiting for ASUS ZenFone 3 deluxe to arrive in Brunei but it haven't since it release is already like 4 to 5 month i think. Usually around this time all those phone that released in us already have in Brunei.

  • except iphone 7.. hahaha

  • YES, and they don't have an internal memory of 128gb and 256gb.

  • Look at iPhone 7 Plus,LG V20 and Xperia XZ bezels first.

  • please GSMArena, post your review about this phone, as I would like to know the Basemark OS II and Basemark X ratings, and the endurance rating of the battery.

  • I agree it would look better without them, and when I first picked it up, I noticed the bezel that one time, but after having the phone for 2 weeks, I had honestly forgotten about it and never noticed it again until I read your comment just now. I literally thought, oh yeah, there is a black bezel...lol. I assure you, you will quickly forget all about it.

  • This phone is utterly amazing. If you are contemplating this phone but hesitating, I highly recommend just pulling the trigger as everything runs butter smooth. The screen looks amazing and the camera takes excellent pictures in regular as well as very low light (which was my concern before pulling the trigger on my preorder of the US Special Edition). It compares favorably to the quality of the Pixel's camera so they must've fixed any issues in updates before they shipped mine. Fingerprint works very nice as well. There is a black bezel around the screen, but the only times I noticed it were before I bought it, the first time I turned it on, then I completely forgot about it for these last 2 weeks until I just now read a comment complaining about it. Sure it would be nice to have it hidden by the aluminum frame, but in actual practice, my eyes don't see it at all as my eyes never go there. The beautiful display completely draws my eyes away from that bezel. Even with my more powerful processor, my battery lasts completely through the day and will still have charge the next morning without charging. We will see how that lasts over the life of the device, but I was astonished to see how long it lasted. With an Antutu that tops out at 160K (about 140K for the SD820 version), 256GB, a stunning AMOLED display, excellent performing camera, and a micro SD up to at least 128GB (that may actually top out at the 2TB since another owner tried a 256GB card on the US SD820 version and it worked perfectly), there isn't another phone right now that delivers on all the hardware all around that this does. Then as added bonus, I didn't know I was going to love ZENUI 3.0 so much. I'm not claiming to be a launcher expert, but this is the best I have ever used, and it is fully customizable. This is everything I want in a phone, and of the things I would want to be better (QHD for better VR and no bezel), they are very little quibbles on a phone that stands above all the rest. The choice is yours but I can assure you, this choice won't leave you disappointed.

  • The special edition hits 160,000 on antutu with everything disabled. 156,000 with everything I use from Asus enabled, which is quite a bit.

  • Nice phone ...small battery..

  • Which is better Asus Zenfone 3 ultra or Asus Zenfone 3 deluxe zs570kl. Besides the battery life span?

  • you dont even have a respect to other

  • What the hell is wrong with their design team? They seemed to nail absolutely EVERYTHING about its design except for those big ugly black bezels. I might've even been persuaded to think that it's the best premium quality smartphone ever, if it weren't for those stupid bezels.

  • SD 830 just just around the corner

  • I love asus phones and tablets. Im using zenfone 2 deluxe for a year now and its still working like the first time i bought it. No lag no hang no battery issues. Compare with other brands who suffers lag, hangs, and battery issues after 3 to 6 months. keep up the good work asus!

  • Go for zenfone 3 deluxe..its got 6gb ram but sony still struglling.

  • I want to see the antutu benchmark score of the deluxe special edition beasty SD 821....that process with 2.4 and 2.0gig clock speed...that's very powerful CPU in the market right now......I can't wait to see it in action...

  • pls help me to choose between asus zenfone 3 deluxe and sony xperia xz which is worth buying. i need something that is up to date with good camera and fast net connection.

  • I'm a Zenfone 2 owner. For all those anxious to get a Zenfone 3, be sure to see what I and other owners of the previous generation Zenfone 2 have to say before making any decision...

  • this device is insane!

  • This phone is very good already,,but one thing,It cann't shower,,I mean I doesn't water resistance,If this ablity apply,I can bring it to bathroom,I'm ok to show my nude body to AZ3D..Did someone can tell me Asus Zenfone Forth Generation release on when...and what more incredible specs,I'm so excited...

  • Reviews seems good so far from the one that have received the US Variant.. you're not going to get much info since people who pre-ordered just started receiving it. BUT you'll get good info from Amazon.com review since it' updates daily from people who have received it so far. Make sure you read the correct review, since they'll combining 3 different phone on that review page. But everyone who have received the ZS570KL are pretty happy with it so far.

  • Tell me about z3d ..if u have any complain about that...actually i wanna buy it...that's why i am asking u.. Hoping u guys for ur reaply..

  • does have radio FM analog 88/108Mhz ??

  • That's why instead of the normal mobile phone VR headsets I use wired HDMI driven VR headset with my phone via a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter. They are way better than normal mobile phone VR headsets.

  • For the one who wants it in US Variant.. Amazon have resisted their ZS570KL.. They are available to ship it out in 1-2 days on Prime... I feel like I want to cancel Bhphotovideo order and order through amazon... The ad thing is Bhphoto doesn't charge tax for CA vs amazon does.. Bhphoto will not start shipping till Nov 10

  • I can answer you. I got both 5.5" 1080p and 5.5" 1440p (2K) screen smartphone, both are equally sharp, small text are as sharp, and icons remain same size too, typical no difference in normal usage. The only different is in VR (Virtual Reality), where 1440p screen on VR is way superior. So, the key different would only be noticed is in VR. I test with screen on 6" 1080p and 6.44" 1080p too, all also don't have any sharpness issue compare to the 2K screen. Well, other different are the screen quality. Different phone is equipped with different quality screen, where some screen's viewing angle and contrast are higher, some screen colour are more saturated.

  • When will coming in turkey?

  • ok then...my bad....well,at least its still a Super AMOLED screen....;p

  • Never said 5.7 inch full HD amoled wasn't good enough buddy. Read again, I was just saying I have been using 1440 display for quite some time and going back to 1080p might take time to get use to since Icons and everything is going to be larger. If I really felt it wasn't good enough, I wouldn't have pre-ordered, right ? Wish you was able to answer questions I have beside something is obviously my least concern. But thanks

  • Actually it be dual active sim if you don't use the micro sd card slot since the sim try is a hybrid sim slot.

  • dude, you must have really bad eyesight to think that having a 5.7 inch full HD amoled screen isn't sufficient enuff.its definitely more than sufficient enough for most people unless you're Mr Magoo.😆😆😆

  • ASUS sure is taking their own friggin' sweet time to release the ZF3 Deluxe in my country.they announced it like in March or April and its still not available here in SG.Its almostccoming to the end of 2016 and honestly,ASUS is starting to piss me off with this lack of timely release of this phone.i mean look at the Google Pixel phones, they announced it like last month and now its already available.ASUS announced the ZF3 Deluxe like months and months and months ago and its still not available here.i'm starting to wonder if i get this phone, will they roll out the Nougat update in a timely manner?or are they gonna take their own sweet time like they did for Marshmallow update for the Zenfone 2.but one thing for sure is to me is that ASUS sucks right now for delaying the ZF3 Deluxe release here in my country.so hurry up dammit!!!

  • I am currently waiting for the US Variant which is promise to start shipping after Nov 10... Over here in the US, there's a wide selection of case and screen protector from Amazon. I don't know if they're available for you guys in Korea. I'm sure you can contact sellers on Amazon have them ship it to you at a cost or something. thanks for the Info. Your personal experience makes me feel more confident on the pre-ordered for $499 shipped. The only thing I might regret is the display resolution since I'm use to 1440 display. Let's hope I can get use to it. Anyone can confirm that 4g LTE and VoLTE works with US T-mobile ? I want to be 100% sure everything is compatible such as all bands. I have looked at the specs and looks like all band are there, but I want to hear it from someone who have this on hand review for TMO service since this is the first time I'm dealing with phone not purchasing directly from the carrier. And wondering will ASUS ever try to get WIFI Calling and Hotspot working with TMO. I was debating OP3 over this, but latest needs is that OP3 is coming with OP3T very soon for $80 more for extra performance such as SD821 and not sure what else. Hopefully better display and camera as well.

  • I ordered mine from Ebay, Taiwan and received my Deluxe on early October. So I've been using it for more than 2 weeks. Mine is SN 820 with 64 Gb of storage. It coast me 699 Usd. The machine is fast. When I say fast, it is seriously fast. Finger scanner is the quickest that I have seen. I've loaded over 4Gigs of apps and the did not have any negative effect on the performance. Built quality is awesome, no way to compare with anything else. I live in Korea, so I had the chance to check even LG V 20. Asus looks and feels better in hand. LG's Nougat is better for sure but let's cross the fingers and hope there will be an upgrade. The device is performing, ZenUi is allowing a lot of customization. Camera performance is more than sufficient, I seriously like the camera. It is fair to compare with I phone 7's cam. Though I phone is slightly better to my opinion. Sound output from 3.5mm jack is very strong. I use Poweramp paid version and happy with the sound quality. Original earbuds are reasonable but no way to compare with LG V 20's Bang Olufsen. LG V 20 had the best sound output that I have ever experience in an earbud. If this is a very important thing to you, I suggest you use high-quality wireless headsets such as Beats. I had one problem so far; when I touch the gallery icon on the camera screen, it says there is no photo in the gallery then I send an error report to Asus, they return in the following 24hr, advised me to use internal storage instead of the micro sd. Instead of following their advice I'm using the gallery app (which is not on the camera screen) on the apps list. Their quick response was good. By the way, when you shoot over 8mb photos, your micro sd may not be able to response fast enough so the gallery app in the cam may not do the job on time. I'm not blaming Asus for that. But they could give me an advice on the minimum speed requirement of sd card that I should choose. Another negative point is difficulties to find cover, screen protector and accessories. I had to order everything in the Ebay because nothing is available in Korea. I do not know other countries. Battery capacity is not bad; with wifi internet and about 3 hours gaming per day, I spend 70% of the battery and 30% available when I finish the day. Could Asus or a third-party please make a battery case for this device? I like those things.

  • is this mobile available in qatar?

  • You broke your device and blame the company And what a brain you have

  • its okay, keep open your mind.

  • Don't bother. Just like my zenfone 2, lasted a month out of the box before the digitiser broke and they refused to replace or fix it, Customer service sucks, product sucks, specs for price suck, quality control appears to be no existent, If you like being extremely disappointed with your purchases and messed around by the company then this may be the phone for you, seriously go and look at the reviews for asus on trust pilot, none of them have more than a 2/10 rating... I'm not just being bitter, don't make the same mistake i did.

  • I ordered from ASUS store in US. My is coming Oct 26.

  • Is it DDR 4? or DDR 3 for memory......

  • Dearest knowledge smartdevice enthusiasts.Undoubtedly, the one with the more security advanced SD 821,according to the specifications,is the Asus flagship in high ends with nowadays criteria!!However, the price hasn't been mentioned yet!Hopefully,it had 10 fingers simultaneously touch points as we see in Asus deluxe 3!!But,nevertheless,it is a lovely phablet of high quality searchers!!!Justice Rights.

  • Just pre-order the AZ3D ..I'm hoping it'll fit my daily need since I'm moving up from a Note 4... Crossing my finger every band will work on t-mobile and maybe update in the feature for wifi calling and hotspot

  • is dis phone available in UAE ?

  • When I called n talked to asus toll free number, they said zenfone3 deluxe is dual standby only. Not dual active. But in specs of some sites like gsmarena, they are showing that zenfone3 deluxe is dual active.I am in confusion.

  • After reading the reviews on PC magazine, I decided to go with the a ZTC Axon 7 with those stereo speakers. It has less ram at 4gb, but that's fine, 5.5" is smaller, but it has a bigger battery.

  • it's GOOD for CAMERA & RAM . BUT battry is very bad for use in business use

  • It's available on Ebay.

  • No, it's not available in the Asus web store

  • You can buy directly from ASUS store on the web.

  • This phone was announced in May 2016 and still isn't available in Germany. Will it ever see the German market?

  • That's a customization made by Sony and few other manufacturers who still wanted for retain multiuser support on Marshmallow. ASUS on other hand didn't make such modifications.

  • This thing is a Beast! I need one ASAP

  • Hi, i have soney z5 that runs on google Marshmallow and it has multiuser support!

  • This phone runs on Android Marshmallow. Google removed multiuser support on Marshmallow.

  • i hope this will be the same specs for the release in philippines

  • hi, does it have multi user option?!! thank you

  • When will it launch in Singapore? plz let me know. Im dying for this

  • please tell the launching date in online market.I am eagerly waiting

  • It takes too long to release. The hype is gone cos a lot of other brands are pushing their flagship to the market that makes their main selling point become less unique especially for the 6gb ram and 821 snapdragon.... right now i m more interested in google pixel

  • Excellent alternative to Note 7 . Normal flat display and top hardware with Amoled Display. Battery can definitely be bigger since Samsung a9 pro fits 5000 mAh battery in a phone with a 6.0 inch display .

  • Phone is pretty good with nice specs. Massive storage and power makes this phone a good phone to buy. With google photos, you will be able to shoot photos with plenty of storage.

  • Will there be a review on this phone?

  • because the thickness.

  • Thank you Jeff. I ordered mine from Taiwan and waiting for the delivery.

  • I tried the Zenfone 2 earlier this year and came defective right out of the box. The company customer service asked me to return the phone after it failed the factory reset. I did. Purchased NEXUS 6P - no problems, stellar performance and always up to date. For less than $799.00 I'd get the Google Pixlr XL.

  • I believe this will be my next phone. I've never owned a Asus product, but I think this is the one for me.

  • Back side finger print sensor was available with HTC One Max on 2013 and it is indeed very convenient for a big device for "single hand use". Imagine if the FP sensor was on the front face and you try to unlock it using one hand; holding the phone in one hand and unlocking it will probably cause you to drop the phone. I personally am very happy with rear FP sensor.

  • Hmm, now that makes sense. Most probably such a system is beneficial for AR and VR systems.

  • This is like the LG V20, a big phone with a tiny battery. Why not at least 4000mAh?

  • infra red sensor != infra red blaster the latter is what you expect for IR devices control the former is for movement tracking mostly and heat-tracking... like the wiimote has

  • Yeah you are right. I installed the IR Remote app but it didn't work for me either. That's really odd because there's a infrared sensor on the back. I think that infrared sensor is for some other purpose.

  • I bought it on ebay, it was sent from Taiwan

  • Thank you very much for the clarification and timely response! One last bit, where did you purchase your AZ3D?

  • what is its price in Dubai? and when this phone ll be released in dubai...??? i have checked online websites but can't find Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL...

  • I came from Note 4 (SM-N910F)... I actually don't feel much difference about battery life, device is running much less hotter than Note 4 I DO NOT have any IR remote hardware or any pre-installed IR remote app and I have tried several, I believe the IR sensor in the back of the device is for camera purposes for motion detection (similar to the one on Wii motes) the device is very very fast and responsive (256GB/6GB RAM) and the "all metal" design looks so much more better than they advertised, it actually feels different from a lot of phones I held in the past (including iPhones), but I don't feel the difference regarding the antenna... though I did have some GPS issues but it was probably worked out after a software update the touch screen is one of the best I have worked with, but the digital buttons on the bottom are somehow "too responsive", I sometimes want to press the back button "once" but it presses twice, I wish I could've modded the sensitivity, but it requires root... and about root - in Zenfone 2 ASUS released a bootloader unlock tool to unlock the bootloader so you could install any recovery you'd want and from there you could flash root into your device (along with any ROM you want, but you don't really want to do that as of now), this time around I don't see any official bootloader unlock tool (and unofficial) and that's somehow really missing from android (could really love some of xposed mods) so if you are buying the device soon - you are going to accept that for now there's lack of root until the community at XDA or somewhere else decides to unlock the bootloader about the camera - that's a story for itself... I can take pictures while moving and they'd turn great, I can take pictures on the darkest rooms and the pictures would turn great, I even took a picture directly facing the sun and it turn great... I never had the pleasure of auto-focus working so well while moving so you could take a picture while moving, this is very awesome for travelling, the back facing camera is THE BEST phone camera I have ever seen The Zen UI launcher is very good - I came from Nova Launcher on the Note 4, what I loved about the Nova Launcher is the ability to mod it to your liking, you could turn on count notification on all apps except specific (WhatsApp, Messaging, specific e-mail apps), you could include software implentation for "knock knock" similar to the one present on LG phones (which is very handy while driving) and various touch animations.... Zen UI doesn't do better than Nova Launcher but I didn't install Nova Launcher because Zen UI does pretty good job, it allows you to mod the notification count, give you different animation to different screen reaction, it allows you to have live wallpaper dependable on the time\battery left - which in my book is very creative, it allows you to have different grid sizes of the screens and multiple screens and it allows you to mod the folder grid size itself (the inside) but if you lack an option, you can't add it to the launcher like on Nova Launcher... I for example had on Nova Launcher the ability to add a button that when pressed, the device wouldn't require fingerprint to unlock, a handy option while driving, because even with the knock knock support Asus implented (in the hardware judging by the response time) It's not easy enough to type the custom PIN code, so for those of us who love the advantage of finerprint security but had to do it while driving - will have to wait till the device is rooted to gain that, but other than that the launcher is very open to you.... ofc you can e-mail Asus for support to include such option (prevent device lock) but that would kill the point of android... if I wanted someone to do the job for me and to wait while they do that - I'd go apple... I am also a developer, I used my device as debugging device, I have to tell you that Zen UI lets you the freedom of that, Note 4's TouchWiz UI would sometimes (and very annoyingily) interfere with my debugging by reducing my app priority on the debugger on android, increasing CPU frequency suddenly (which would increase the timer frequency and therefore might leave some pieces out of sync) which made it very hard to stabilize my application for "proof of concept\possiblity" run before working on it to be more stablizied on other devices, while developing on the Note 4 I had to make sure the app is very very stable if I used unofficial libraries (such as Dropbox, Yahoo etc.... Firebase worked great though) because if I wouldn't, the app would crash... with this phone it didn't happen once, I don't know if it's because it's not using Samsung sources more than how Zen UI is (for example, I am sure developing on Nexus device would be as much fun) so I can't commend on Zen UI to be this friendly, but I can tell you that its more friendly than TouchWiz UI as for gaming - I can't comment so much about it as I mainly installed emulators (GB & GBC, GBA, LucasArts SCUMMVM) but on the few games I did play (The World Ends With You Solo Remix, Hearthstone, FIFA 15: UT, Pokemon GO) the performance was much better than on the Note 4 (especially on heartstone - it is very heavy game unlike what everyone thinks), TWEWY Solo Remix ran extreemly fast, the improved touch input availabe on the phone made the game much better, heartstone loading time was decreased by a lot and runs much smoother (probably because heartstone works with a lot of cache memory and the UFS II storage runs faster), Pokemon GO app runs very quick (though dependable on the servers) but unless you tick power saver mode - it still uses a lot of battery (though unlike my Note 4, I didn't feel device heat) and the emulators are calibrated for lower end devices so I think it is kind of obvious they were very very fast and responsive on the Zenfone 3 Deluxe as for hardware, I am not sure people noticed but you have the ability to either use 2 different simcards or 1 simcard & 1 memory card, that choice means a lot to me, even though I obviously chose the second one

  • Does Smart IR Remote or any other 3rd party IR remote app work with the AZ3D?? Anybody who has this phone or know someone that does, JUST TEST IT PLEASE, thank you.

  • where to buy in US?

  • Gsmarena, where is the review of this expensive deluxe version of Zenfone 3?

  • May be in your country, ASUS after sales service is good, but not in my country. Been owning the Intel Atom Zenfone 2 and this phone is a disaster. Sending many time to service centre to fix this and that but still cannot solve the issue until warranty period over. Aside from the Intel processor that frequently overheat, and have compatible issue, the call quality, sim tray, micro sd slot, the ZenUI, all has issue. The phone like to keep restarting itself in a day for few time. Then, ZenUI always freeze, even on the latest update. Sim tray some time cannot detect sim card, then micro sd slot now already cannot detect any micro sd card after warranty. It call speaker also very quiet. It is way low quality than other cheap phone that I own, which is disappointed. This is not happen on me only, but all my friend also facing the same issue with their Zenfone 2. Yes, the same cannot be apply to Zenfone 3, may be ASUS has sort out all the issue, then already ditch the Intel processor and favour to Qualcomm Snapdragon, it already made me lose faith on this brand. PS:It's Zenfone Zoom 128GB now just half price from it's original price, and yet nobody in my country rush to buy it, simply because of headache on Zenfone 2, left too much old stock. Zenfone 2 also half price now.

  • What's your impression about the phone, especially about battery life? Does Smart Remote detect IR blaster?

  • Please can someone to confirm IR blaster on this mobile?

  • Dude I am not lying... it even says it doesn't support due to lack of hardware component and this is ZenFone 3 Deluxe

  • You can use the app called Smart IR Remote.

  • I have the phone... I don't think there's an IR blaster on this phone, I don't see it and I don't see it on ASUS official website on the device, in fact only on gsmarena I see it has IR blaster... tell me which 3rd party app you were talking about?

  • Yes it can control IR equipment but you need to install 3rd party app to emulate the remote. Other than that the position of IR sensor is bit odd, i.e., to the side of the phone so you need to hold it in a rather unconventional way.

  • Can it control air conditioners via infrared Blaster ???Has someone tried it ??

  • All the LTE frequencies of Verizon are supported by this phone so as long as you are in an area with Verizon VoLTE signal it would work fine but if you are some area which is beyond the coverage of Verizon VoLTE then it won't work as it doesn't support CDMA frequencies.

  • I do support this statement of yours, phones with fingerprint sensor in rear are indeed inconvenient. At times when the device is on the table you need to pick it up in order for unlock it while phones with fingerprint sensor on front are easy to unlock even if they are on the table. Rear mounted fingerprint sensors on such large phones are even more problematic as the user needs to literally stretch his fingers to unlock them, not good at all especially if you need to unlock your device in jiffy. I don't know who started this weird trend of placing fingerprint sensors in the rear but it sure is impractical.

  • It has a USB Type-C port so you don't need MHL for HDMI output. All you need to use is a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter and you're good to go. Other than that you can use a USB Type-C multiport adapter like HooToo Shuttle to take HDMI output, connect USB peripheral devices, read additional memory cards and charge the phone simultaneously at a time.

  • Does it support mhl

  • Any button at the back of a big phone is inconvenience.

  • FM radio is indeed quite a rarity on phones these days. But oddly enough the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a FM radio, good for those who still listen to FM.

  • It has Active noice cancellation with dedicated microphone. (Source: And it records stereo sound with 4K recording. (Source:

  • Here is the question; can it record stereo sounds along with the 4 K video? I think it can not. Could somebody confirm this? And is there an active noise cancellation and dedicated microphone for that? Those two that I wrote above are industry standards for not only the flagship devices but also for any regular smart device of a brand. Anyone has a clue on those?

  • That is 2k resolution. 1920 x 1080 is HD and UHD or 4k is 4096 x 2160

  • Will it work on Verizon? I called Verizon twice and got two different answers. One said yes and the other said no. I contacted Asus and they said that they cannot comment on use of a phone that has not yet been released to that market.

  • That's not the power button. That is the fingerprint reader on the back.

  • Has anyone confirmed this phone is dual sim dual active? Please someone chime in and confirm or deny.

  • The phone is good but the battery should be more than 3000. For a such good phone it shuld be 4000.

  • Yes it has an Infrared sensor.

  • why don't they mention battery performance...,????? can any body plz tell me about this.and probably price in Bangladesh ... thanks alll....

  • It has an infrared? It has an infrared port ??

  • What? Go try out the phone first. The power button is on the right side next to volume rocker. The fingerprint scanner is at the back.

  • IS Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe have fm redio system....??

  • i about to buy this phone , but i never buy phone with power bottom on the back.

  • only 3000mAh battery.......

  • Really? It is good, but I found that the power button place at the back, such a big phone it is better place the button at bottom front or side border of the phone, unless you want to study guitar then you can practice stretching your finger reach the upper back of the phone.

  • I want to ask who he already has? the phone has IR port?

  • They're backlit.

  • If the ugly black bezels of the screen didn't exist, i would definitely consider buying this phone. You could leave the bezels with the color of the chassis, why make them black??

  • They took a long time getting out the Marshmallow updates, especially for the Atom-based phones. But they did eventually finish it, though they still seem to be dragging their heels about offering it as an OTA update. Let's hope they do better on the new models.

  • I'm surprised that ASUS went with a 1080p display. This phone has flagship level specs in every other category; it should have come with a higher resolution display. It doesn't really matter whether there is any real user benefit; people are going to compare the display specs and find it lacking. On the other hand, bringing the Snapdragon 821 and 6GB RAM is great. And flash options up to 256GB. Add one of the 256GB MicroSD cards that are starting to appear and you can have half a terabyte on board - which will be great for the claimed 24/192 audio output.

  • Will the soft-key have LED back-lit for deluxe edition? No back-lit is not convenience in night. By the way, I think the back cover looks like a koala bear.

  • I'm so interested to buy this phone coz I find it cool and have everything i want...however I've been reading reviews and most of it are negative reviews...so i just can't decide...is Asus really bad?never use Asus b4...

  • The displays on ASUS mobile phones used to be poor because they used to use dull LCD panels, but things have changed with Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the new Super AMOLED screen used on this device is extremely vibrant with great viewing angles.

  • ASUS is a highly dependable brand. Their quality control is good and after-sales service is great and responsive, I would say that their after-sales service is at times better than brands like Samsung, Lenovo and Huawei. They are bit pricey than their competitors but the quality of their devices is excellent and worth the price.

  • hi! i want to ask how its asus brand cause i dont really know about that one

  • to produce a fine 23MP image you need a 1/2" sensor. otherwise it will be mediocre like Sony Xperia 23MP cameras...

  • 1. I am worried to compare Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe's 3000 mAh battery with the Note 5's 3000 mAh battery. let's wait to see what comes in review 3. 1080p for 5.7" display maybe considerable but I found Asus's displays are very low quality with poor viewing angle, and remember, it's a DELUXE version

  • sensor siZe maybe same but it has a 23 MP sensor while Note 5 has a 16 MP sensor, means Note 5 camera has bigger pixels and Zenfone 3 Deluxe camera has smaller pixels, only 1 micrometer.

  • 1. sensor size may be same but it's a 23 MP sensor while Note 5 has a 16 MP sensor, means Note 5 sensor has bigger pixels and Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has smaller pixels, only 1 micrometer in size 2. Display resolution maybe considerable but I found Asus's phone displays just rubbish, poor viewing angle. 3. I am worried to compare Asus Zenfone's 3000mAh battery with Samsung's 3000mAh battery. So, let's see what comes through a full review

  • Also camera sensor size is same as note 5.

  • 1) 3000mAh battery is definitely NOT SMALL for 5.7" phone(note 5 also has 3000mAh battery) 2) Battery used by RAM is negligible. Battery is mainly used by CPU, screen and modem. More RAM means smoother multi-tasking and faster apps loading times. 3) You don't need 1440p resolution for 5.7" display unless you use VR. Even if you look at both screens side by side, you won't see any difference in sharpness. 1080p is perfect resolution for 5.7" screen. It also helps reduce power consumption and load on GPU. It is obvious especially in playing graphic intensive games- You'll get smoother game play(better frame rate) and less warming of your phone.

  • Im still waiting for gsm to review this hope they can post a review before october.

  • Indeed that's why Zenfone is better than them. All I was trying to say that if ASUS managed to roll out update in a manageable time for the x86-64 powered Zenfone 2 that means it's quite obvious that the updates the ARM powered Zenfone 3 Deluxe would be way more timely and fast.

  • dual sim full active means 2 Sims able to take calls anytime

  • dual sim or 1 sim and 1 micro-sd

  • small battery against huge RAM, tiny camera sensor, Low resolution against huge display, surely gonna be a mediocre...

  • Is this phone dual sim full active?

  • But how about Xperia C4 and C5 series? Android M its more late than Zenfone 2.

  • Still waiting for a full review here, what gives? I have the Asus Zenfone 3 ZE552KL which I say is quite nice, screen & audio quality is superb as far as I'm concerned. It would be nice to learn how my tastes compare though.

  • Its really over priced....and battery is low with its good performance and processor....i think its dumped idea for asus

  • it is not dual active like the zenfone 2.... For that reason I am waiting to see the P9 Mate that is dual sim full active.

  • On Zenfone 2 the Marshmallow update was delayed because it ran on x86 Android. x86 and x64 Android is always released bit late than ARM version but since the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe use ARM processors they would get faster updates.

  • I agree with Jeff.even though we got Marshmallow update for Zenfone 2 a bit longer than intended,we eventually got it.and now even my Zenpad s 8.0 got the Marshmallow update a few days ago.Asus came through with the updates even though it took a while.and i'm not expecting to get the Nougat update soon either coz from what i heard, there seems to be some issues with it.hopefully Google will sort out these issues on Nougat and as soon as its stable, hopefully Asus will push out the update after.

  • Honestly i think the FHD screen on the Zenfone 3 Deluxe should be sufficient enough.and it'll help the battery last longer.the 6GB of RAM wil hopefully lessen the load on processing app running in the background.it all about proper optimization of the software and i think the phone will perform greatly.Asus should be focusing more on optimizing the software on the Zenfone 3 Deluxe and it should be just fine.i've already saved up money and i realised i could buy both the Zenfone 3(which i already bought the 5.5 inch 64GB ROM/4GB RAM model)😋😋😆 and the Zenfone 3 Deluxe!!!gonna get the 256GB with Snapdragon 821.hopefully it gets released in my country in early October or late September.i'm so excited i can't wait!!!

  • Of course this device is pricier than Axon 7, Mi5 and OnePlus 3 but let us not forget that ASUS has a way better quality control and after-sales service than those brands. So it is more reliable than those phones. ASUS is like the Volkswagen of phones, their products may not generate much interest of consumers and their prices may not be that low but rest be assured their quality control and after-sales service is damn good.

  • yeah but for example s7 edge has the advantage over this asus 2k super amoled water resistance 3600 mah availability of the accessories and maintenance at the same price or maybe lower

  • My Opinions is... That the Asus is the Better Company of Smartphone and Computer i never meet before... And i'll upgrade from my #AsusPadfoneInfinity2 to the New #AsusZenfone3Deluxe... The Screen is big but is OK.

  • Better buy ZTE axon 7... More cheaper...

  • Atleast it won't blow up? :p

  • There its no perfect phone. And Zenfone 3 Deluxe has advantages compare with those smartpones. (and disvantages too)

  • indeed , if i reached that price i would better go with note 7 or lg v20 or s7 edge

  • What's onscreen time for this phone?

  • *Nick Young Face Meme Expression*

  • asus zenfone 3 line up is very expensive . its "bang for the buck" . better buy something else out there...

  • Too expensive, and too big for me. Need 5.1" or 5.2"

  • i want this metal cased zenphone but with a 5.2" screen

  • Dearest readers.In short,excellent qualities according to specifications....SD 821!!!Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar....

  • one word "overpriced"

  • S7 edge with this price tag. I will have more battery yet much smaller screen that eventually saves much battery life.

  • Zenfone 3 used in those videos is base model with 4gb ram and Snapdragon 625... Zenfone 3 deluxe would be a different story. Check your facts first before posting, please.

  • No Troller, Can you even see Zenfone 3 VS Mi5 or Zenfone 3 VS SGS7Edge Gaming test on YouTube? Please laugh at yourself.

  • Better I spend my money for S7 Edge, this Asus Zen3 Dlx's price is very expensive. And its 3000 MAH battery? With those huge specs? They must be kidding.

  • no sens to invest on the one plus 3 and xiaomi because no last lte 700/800mhz frequencies

  • NEEDS a more powerful and "removable" battery. I guess it is back to LG's new V20.

  • Battery seems to be poor . it must not be less than 4000 or 4500 mh

  • Well, apart for the lack of the QHD Display, it seems? That it is a quite great phone. Keep it up Asus

  • Asus gone mad (SD 821 and 6gb Ram ans 128 gb internal storage). There is no sense to invest 800$ on this Asus Zenfone 3 Delux. This year All Asus Zenfone will going to be a biggest disaster.IPhone 7 is here nobody even think about Zenfone 3.Better to go for One zplus 3 or Mi5.And save your money.

  • thi phone is soo costly

  • One problem with ASUS phones is their design... Yes, design is subjective depend on our tastes. but at least for me, ASUS's design is ugly and doesn't feel premium at all unfit to its high price. As for the price, at my place, this model are roughly $100 more expensive than Samsung S7 Edge. MSRP $499 mentioned in their launching are BS!!

  • Same price as Samsung note 5 in Malaysia.

  • It has a Mediatek Helio X10 or a Snapdragon 650, not a Snapdragon 821.

  • 6GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM is great,but i think i'll just stick with my Redmi Note 3. My Redmi,too,has a Sd821.

  • it's still better than expensive phone with low specs :D

  • I hope the battery would be OK & safe...I love this phone but I think its too expensive, and what do you expect from 821 cpu with 6 GB can do for you in daily usage ? Running a server? It's too much..

  • Last time i bought an Asus was zenfone 2 with 32gb/4gb.the only problem i had was the touch screen sensitivity.it wasnt sensitive enough. And Asus aftersales in Indonesia isnt anywhere close to Samsung's aftersales. Aftersales is like the no.1 reason i buy a Samsung instead of any other brand. But i hope Asus would make their aftersales better than i might consider.

  • 6GB ram good for laggy UI hahahaha.

  • After 1.3 years with my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, which has: - 3010mAh - Snapdragon 810 v2.1 - 5.7" 2K IPS - 4GB LDDR4 - 64GB Rom I have to admit that I never want a phone with less than 5.7" screen, less than 2K (yes, there is a difference using FHD and 2K for 5.7" screens!). But what's turning me down for the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the really bad battery! The 3010mAh in my Mi Note Pro are empty faster than you think and I'm on my second battery change already! I will only get a phone with at least 4000mAh or more for this screen size! The Galaxy A9 Pro has 5000mAh on a 6" screen, the Xiaomi Mi Max has 4850 on 6.44".

  • I saw in some Youtube channel, in Indonesia this product with 6GB RAM type, will cost USD 900 - 920 / IDR 11,199,000 ( so expensive )

  • phone is good but drawing back is hybrid SIM model means using by sim or memory card how it possible please provide memory card slot also and Dual SIM slots do not provide hybrid dual SIM optins, no infrad option

  • I'm pretty sure it's because of the x86 chipset

  • Bro tax in philippines is high what did you expect?

  • i think this phone is fire. hard to touch it :(

  • Good luck getting the Android Nougat update if you buy this phone. Users that have the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe are just barely getting the Android M update six months after it was officially released. I used to own an Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe and switched to a different phone since Asus likes to take forever to release updates. Not only that but, this phone has supposedly been out since last month. Yet a phone that is made in Taiwan isn't available in Taiwan upon release date. Go figure.

  • I thought they said around 499$ for the SD820? It cost way more than that! 750$ in the Philippines. And 930$ for the SD821! Are they nutts?! I am very disappointed ASUS!

  • Considering that you can not get the deluxe ZF3 quite expensive ...

  • This phone it's a not only a beauty, 4.2mm wow, but it's also a beast, snap dragon 821, 6GB wow. This is the best phone in the world as we speak, sorry samsung users. the specs are just unbeatable! Also the Xiaomi MI 5 is a great phone. (7.2mm snap dragon 820) with a dream price but unfortunately, in the USA, its NOT supporting the frequency for LTE by most carriers, (Ting.com will support I think the 2600mhz). So I cant wait to put hands on this beauty with hope the US retail would be $450.00.

  • All other specs is awesome....I expect the battery will be at least 3500mAh...its so dissapointing the battery for Zenfone 3 Deluxe is just 3000mAH whereas the LCD Display is is quite big 5.7 inches..

  • I did see that the new samsung brought back the RF function for television. The rest of the intustry following in its footsteps wouldnt suprise me much. I would love to be able to sit down and turn on my tv without getting up to get my remote off the tv stand.

  • "deluxe is very very high price no water proof no s pen no back gorilla glass no more colours option no radio no 5000 mph big battery no wireless charging no handset avaliable on line after launch no more service centre only 2 ..." well its actually launching in the usa at around 500 USD for the lower end model and 600-700 for the higher end model. it has amazing specs for a phone of that price range. No need for wireless charging. its a slower method and not really as great as it sounds. it has an IP66 I believe. so no it cannot be submerged, but rain and average spills shouldn't hurt it too badly. it has no gorilla glass on the back because IT HAS A METAL BODY! I do agree the colors are slightly limitting, but by that logic so is all of the high end apple phones and every samsung with only three color options as well. There doesnt need to be a radio because instead it has nfc. just go out and buy an alarm clock. that has better signal and sound than any phone radio ever would, plus you can just download pandora. The battery may seem small, but in reality the 3000 mAh (MILI-AMP NOT MILES PER HOUR!) batter is enough to charge a tesla battery almost half way. I dont understand the rest of your complaints, but with the 6 GB of ram the 64GB of rom and the fastest processor on the market today, fastest storage available on the market today and one of the best GPUs on the market today, it is more than amazing for the price. I wouldnt change a thing about this phones specs. On paper, its the best phone you can buy for the money and the best phone you can buy for the most impressive specs. I cant wait to buy this phone, but if you have reservations, continue to study up on the specs and tell me what specifically you dont like about it.

  • deluxe is very very high price no water proof no s pen no back gorilla glass no more colours option no radio no 5000 mph big battery no wireless charging no handset avaliable on line after launch no more service centre only 2 yes two in mumbai india

  • Does it really have Infrared Port? In specs, say it have, but in every video and image of this phone, I could not see the infrared sensor.....

  • well i would really like to see a comparison between zf3 deluxe and nubia z11. in Europe they will be about the same price (less than 20euro price difference from what i see), their specs are about the same (camera is the most different), about same build and quality. i believe software will be the big thing to differentiate them. and of course software upgrades (asus kinda sux here, they were 5 months overdue with android 6.0 on zf2 ze551ml which was their top of the line)

  • ASUS is like the Volkswagen of phones. They make good problem free devices, they have good after-sales service, they implement stringent quality control but at the end of the day no one prefers to buy their devices because they lack anything unique about them.

  • They just announced the Snapdragon 821 model in August. They are rolling them out slowly by region (starting in Asia) -- just recently launched in the Philippines. Give it several weeks to hit the States. The Deluxe is on their products website, just not on the store they send American (or whatever territory it hasn't launched in yet) visitors to.

  • well I live in the US and the Asus website does not even show the any of the 3 models; none! Only the 2 models

  • usa only i think

  • Does anyone know if there is a single country that this phone is been released at? I cannot see any country that got this phone. There are some who got 3/ultra/laser but none to my knowledge got deluxe yet. Will Asus ever release this phone anywhere? They have been talking about releasing it for past several months but nothing shows that they will actually do it!

  • Does any one know if the Snapdragon 821 variant will be available for Europe or not ? Also an approximation on when will it be available. I have seen that the normal Zenfone 3 is already available but not the deluxe version.

  • Where to buy in Europe?

  • it is out in the market.

  • This would be a great phone if it ever came out. Been waiting since May and still not released? W.T.H. ASUS?! By the time this comes out there will be a lot of other new handsets to choose from.

  • One Plus 3 is and Mi5 is much better and value for the money package.Zenfone delux is very costly smartphone.I don't think it will going to create any magic.Last year Zenfone 2 having lots of bugs and Asus didn't provide any major software update to eliminate existing bugs concentrating only to launch new devices.

  • please let me know is it water proof

  • QHD display is shit, eats a lot of current, the best display is SuperAMOLED (+). There is no more improved screen as "S.A." in the depth of color in millions and in the "ppi".

  • Honestly, the machine has a massive performance, and well designed and shaped, the only thing is the QHD Display, but this explains the price, very good, very affordable. well done!

  • Really compliments to Asus, generally speaking, the only downside is the lack of QHD display. But overall, well done & keep it up, Asus

  • When it will be marketed, many late

  • why?

  • It is dual stand by and not dual active as the zenfone 2.

  • What is the SAR value of this phone?

  • What is the sar value of this fone?

  • Why does Asus website says Dual SIM Dual Standby?

  • why dont come with wireless charhing?

  • specific absorption rate

  • super ar

  • What is the SAR?

  • Everything is nice in this phone except screen resolution

  • Why zenphone 3 is not equipped with a pen writing, with premium specifications to complement the wearer fasiltas

  • phone is supereb but cost heavily

  • When this phone will enter Jakarta (Indonesia)? Please....

  • Thanks, I'll have a look.

  • verry smart phone

  • If u by a I phone with a same price.=burn money=garbage.

  • not crazy but insane

  • don't really need a water proof mobile phone cuz i dont plan on using it while taking a bath.even if it is a water proof phone.i still dont plan on letting even a drop of sweat in it..

  • Is Asus Relay gone crazy so high price better to buy I phone with the same Price!!!!!!!

  • ASUS...? where you exist..? Disgustingly peoples who owned the company who have no sense of marketing, what the hell you think of..? Did this better than note 7 or iphone 6s I guess you're not in the sense or maybe you need a kick to wake up. I even never pay 15k for this when xiaomi redmi note pro is already available

  • Dearest readers.I don't know the true price yet,but Asus has used high quality versions of all last came to market apps!!Of course a buyer has 3 choices of 64,128,and 256 internal memory gigs plus 256 external memory supports!!!Of course the one with SD 821 with the security patches is much more preferable! In short,Asus deluxe 3 is among high ends smartphone phablet with right screen ratio of 5.7 inches smartdevice!Hopefully, price is logical for the enthusiasts TO HAVE ONE FOR EVERYONE TOO....Thanks all.Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar....

  • Dt.of launching for zenfone3 delux.Zs570kl

  • Dt.of launching for zenfone3 delux.

  • Where did you saw it? I've only seen the basic version not deluxe.

  • Where is it available to buy from?

  • Full hd resolution in this price bracket is shocking. Quad HD phones are available in much less price.

  • Zenfone 2 is dual sim and dual active..Its a good phone...

  • good

  • It's a good phone. Price is not too bad. It could be a good investment.

  • I saw in ebay..chek from that n c.

  • Dose any one know an website where i could buy this, i can't see the option on the Asus website. I live in the Uk btw

  • asus please reduce the price as i wonder eveyday about buying this mobile i plead u this price (52000) should be fake

  • Hi, which is the S.A.R index ?

  • its too costly

  • Deluxe, that's why it was a bummer for me. Sad

  • you wanna to buy? i wanna too!!

  • you wanna to buy? i wanna too!!

  • Are both sim LTE capable or active for data services?

  • better than the Samsung Galaxy S7!

  • I wanna to buy

  • which zenfone 3 is it you try? deluxe, ultra or basic ?

  • is there any other smartphone thats actually dual sim dual active on the market thats good?

  • I haven't really seen this phone being officially released.if it was,we would have seen reviews being done on it on youtube and such.all i see are quick hands on reviews.this is just as bad as Asus not officially releasing the Marshmallow update for the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML,which to me is the worst ever...first they say the update is coming in June, now its already mid august.wtfh is Asus doing?!!!

  • real dual sim dual active?

  • Are u kidding? The 20 LTE band suppor alone justify the extra cost

  • The pricing of ZF 3 deluxe and Ultra are so disappointing given they are not even IP68 certified! Pft

  • Anyone?same brand but smaller size and same width?

  • Is the video rec audio sound quality good?

  • Apart from camera sensor IMX318 (mixed feeling during hands-on try & not convincing 1st impression shown on videos online), 6GB RAM (previews stating unclear of how the phone use such amount of RAM), 256GB ROM & Snapdragon S821 (just a slight bump over S820, not major upgrade); it is not worth paying so much for these features, in my opinion. The asking price really ruined the thought of buying deluxe. RM2600 & RM3300 is too high for Asus to entice consumer as of now for a premium phone. Considering the fact that S7 edge costs about ~RM3100? & not to mention the upcoming Note 7 ~RM3200; with all the bells & whistle of S7's camera experience & edge screen, Gorilla glass 5, Iris scanner, Quad HD, bigger battery, larger ppi & of course, S-Pen. Such a sad disappointment, Asus. Has it been launched earlier, it would be "new"

  • Wow... High contrast... 1:3000000

  • Have you ever heard about microsoft lumia 950 and 950 xl..it the first phone introduce iris scanner..read before you post

  • I tot Rm2599 is jus the announce price so when it comes to retail price, it will be cheaper. zenfone 3 only cost ard rm1314 but they annouce it as 1599 Taking time factor into consideration, S7 edge was released for quite awhile now so thats why it had reduced to that price. like lgg5 price had dropped roughly ard rm 600 in three months.

  • Fun fact: In Malaysia, I can get a 1st hand S7 edge original with Samsung Malaysia official warranty starting at RM2399. ZenFone 3 Deluxe cost at RM2599,why I cannot make the comparison? Think before you comment bro.

  • lol... no phone can be alternative of samsung note 7. no one give iris scanner , powerful camera , sensors , Trust that only samsung have

  • LOL... you are comparing 35K phone with quality of 55K samsung. You will get what you pay for , don't expect samsung copy in cheap phones.

  • its 470 EUR only

  • Is this phone waterproof?

  • Yes. Attended the product launch as well. After revealing excellent on-paper specs, they do not comply when trying hands-on at demo area. Tried only deluxe, camera does experience shutter lag for few seconds, even after reducing quality to less than 23megapixel. Super resolution for further images also not impressive

  • I think it should... considering the all-metal thingy....

  • You not need big storage but i need.

  • Good specs. I will go for Xiaomi for its size. This is not a phone. It is a tablet

  • Does this phone has a thermal cooling pipe????

  • Hmmmm... The one that cost Rm3299 is actually packed with the newest snapdragon 821 processor and 256gb/6 gb ram... but there is another version packed with 820 (similar to S7) and 64gb/6 gb ram which cost RM2599

  • Yup very disappointed ,I'm Asus fan also (Zen 2 ,4 units family n i,N one Zen watch 2). if compare with Samsung Note 7 only RM 3199(64GB,4GB RAM) anything is new technology n waterproof, Asus Deluxe RM 3299(256GB ,6 GB RAM)no need big storage,N no waterproof, If compare all function ,pixel, design ,branded ,pen ,colour phone,battery.... N compare with Huawei P9 plus only RM 2499,camera good ,no lag in use . So which one u choice ?????

  • Should think over battery capacity and thinness

  • 3000 mah baterry is very small for this phone, fast charging no help at all

  • At this price I can buy decent android phone with good battery & an excellent 20Mp DSLR Camera.

  • Pricing of Zenfone 3 is bad even if the quality is better than the previous generation. I will go with the OnePlus 3. They have maintained their affordability with high quality.

  • super yes!

  • Can support otg ?

  • Can u tell where u buy the phone please? I want to buy one but i cant find any site

  • 690 EUR for this phone? Sorry Asus... you will lose phone division this year :(

  • Do you meant "shutter lag"? I experience that as well when I snap the picture continuously, it isn't as smooth as what I experience in iPhone 6S and S7 edge. And since they like to compare themselves to iPhone 6S so much, I try to shake while snapping pictures, it wasn't as good as the iPhone 6S. Low light camera performance is just ok, but not as good as s7 edge.

  • i attended the Malaysia launch event and also tested Asus zenfone 3 series at the launch date. The camera quality is not as good as stated in the specs. zenfone 3 feel lacking when i press to shoot few pics at a time. low light performance is average. i purposely take pic with my hand shaking..guess what..the pics also resulting blur.. this applied to their flagship zenfone 3 deluxe and also zenfone 3 ultra as well. so sad..i have been waiting few months for zenfone 3 series but it just good on paper specs only. this is just my personal experiences at the launch date.

  • For what I'm lying for? 1. I am a fan of Asus. 2. I owned 2 Asus devices 3. I want Asus to be better 4. I know Asus for used to to be fair price and high spec. 5. I wait for the launching event for 3 months. 6. I am f*cking disappointed. Once you try the phone along side with s7 edge, u'll know what I'm talking about.

  • Ur not lie right?

  • I would like to buy this phone at your mentioned price £297, because in Malaysia Asus sell it around £490. Mind to show me the link?

  • What the hell are you on about. Non of what you said, makes any sense. I have just got this phone... Been using it for the past 2 days. Hands down, best device out for the price. I can not fault it. People who are nit picking at this don't even own one? Its a great alternative to the very expensive Samsung Note 7. I paid £297 + £22 shipping. That's about $400 USD. The Note 7 pricing for matching stats is over £700/$1000. I know what I should do and I did. I got this phone and love it.

  • Funny you ask this kind of question, does my previous comment aren't clear enough for you?

  • Slow available

  • it is also available here in the Philippines. LOL

  • So that mean asus zen3 has bad camera?

  • Waited for it for last 3 months but too expensive .I used to accept asus phones with high spec and low price .now dropped idea of buying this phone.now sifting to other brand.now lots similar spec phones available at much cheaper and affordable price

  • hope if this product is affordable at price..ill buy..

  • More megapixels doesn't equal better image quality.. I would have thought everyone knew this by now?

  • I have tried the camera on lauching. It isn't the most snappy camera. Tabbing multiple times to snap will cause lagging(probably because of the huge size of 23mp image) Image quality isn't as impressive as S7 edge in low light. The navigation buttons at the bottom not responsive(maybe test unit got problem) I simply cannot justify the gap of price based on this camera

  • dual sim dual active !! of course more expensive compared to one plus 3 which is the bullcrap dual standby !!

  • This phone expensive because look at camera spec..better than oneplus 3

  • 2599

  • To give u all some idea how expensive this phone is, the Oneplus 3(6gb ram 64gb rom) imported set in Malaysia cost around RM1799. This Zenfone 3(6gb ram 64gb rom) announced price at RM2599

  • Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL 6GB Ram 64GB Rom priced at RM2599, 6GB Ram 256GB Rom priced at RM3299 I was attending the product launching yesterday in Malaysia.

  • how do you know the price?? let us know too

  • Do they actually have any plans on releasing Zenfone 3 Deluxe? This phone has been announced months ago. Anyways, it's a waste to wait for this phone since Samsung Note 7 is now available.

  • And still waiting for Zenfone 3 Deluxe.

  • Lucky? It is damn expensive, I doubt thr sales will be good.

  • Zenfone 3 series is available in malaysia...lucky for our country

  • It Is mentioned it has IR Port BUT where i dont see it

  • still how many days i have to wait for zenfone 3 deluxe....m already mad now....

  • in india it will release at the 17 of august so then you can order it from china

  • Does anyone knows when they are going to release the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL? in the UK

  • Let's wait until the Asus deluxe is released and technicians on utube can take it around the corner and tell us what they think. Chill out!

  • Hey guys, Which one you prefer betaween Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe or Samsung Note 7 and why? help me pls and i need stable UI. Thanks a lot

  • More RAM doesn't mean higher power consumption. It's not the RAM that consumes the power, it's the poorly coded or frequently data fetching applications that are left in the memory. That's why companies opt for a more aggressive memory management, killing Apps from the memory even tho there's still plenty of RAM to spare.

  • do you think asus will make a 6gb ram phone without any reason they make 6gb ram and think and plan to resolve that batery isues come on

  • nice phone but now that the note 7 is out no ones gonna bother looking for this phone. announced months ago but i bet the note 7 will reach markets earlier than this ever will

  • Good point...current apps wont take more than 3-4 gigs on max usage....excess ram would just drain the battery more even if u r just doing the basic stuff....

  • This phone has great specs but is taking so long to release. Three months so far after being announced aND still waiting. What's the deal ASUS?!?! How long do we have to wait???

  • More RAM means more power. More power means more battery consumption. if Battery management is not that good 3k mAh will not be enough. Else it will just drain the battery faster. Maybe,.. just maybe that's why this Samsung Note 7 just stick to 4gb of RAM.

  • hahahaha a lot of bashers of Asus here... Ofcourse there is always a problem on a gadget, there is no perfect phone duhh!!! but the thing is, this unit had a massive specs with a cheaper price than Samsung and LG and Sony... I am using my Zenfone 2 4GB Ram, and only problem was the temp of the phone while charging, but actually , it is not a problem at all because that is normal. Ok?!!! The next one was the System Update, till now, no MM...

  • looks like will not launch in my country.. seems nothing special since other phones already launch with full specification.. more power

  • From what I have found, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will most likely be shipped from 2nd September 2016. Source: "https://tw.buy.yahoo.com/gdsale/ASUS-ZenFone-3-Deluxe-ZS5-6735189.html" I hope Asus can give a full confirmation about the release dates.

  • What do you mean 5 days left to wait? When is the release?

  • Yes, it most probably will.

  • hi, any one knows if this phone will have multi user option in there or not?! thank you.

  • 5 more days to go... my wait is going to finish :)

  • I guess no waterproof, cuz no hv wireless charging

  • Here we go again.......the non removable battery. that is a big no for me and i don't know why Asus keep doing this ?

  • Fed up waiting, waiting, waiting..........

  • Lol I guess ur not buying it then

  • Asus official Website does only confirm dual Stand-by.

  • ZenFone 3 Deluxe is waterproof / water resistance? Like Sony?

  • i ll buy this product, if d price for about 10k,

  • Deluxe better performance less battery Better 4 gaming Ultra better battery less performance Better for photos and work

  • the only 2 things bothering me about this phone are: 1- the fact that there is no radio on this one 2- its display ppi which is lower to my XPERIA Z3, is the difference going to be noticeable speaking of pixel density!!

  • touch not good in launch demo

  • Update to Android 7 when? 2025 ?

  • No it's not. Taiwan is Taiwan. It's not in China at all.

  • Lets just hope this phone doesn't have the same issue as the Zenfone 2 in terms of the atrocious defective LCD panels.

  • Good and Sheap.

  • Shots fired

  • Technically, Taiwan is China.

  • Who said it's from China? They are from Taiwan.

  • Samsung no good expensive but qualitas is the same, before I using samsung s4 is expensive ram only 1,5 only buy brand name

  • sony and iphone same as

  • Well,... it's Made in China.

  • go for zenfone 3 deluxe the best one

  • It depends as the deluxe is slightly more powerful but has less battery power, if you are going to use the phone for work in the office, get the ultra but otherwise get the deluxe as it is more powerful and it is not as big. Treat it like the Samsung galaxy s7 and the note 5

  • Ultra is for gaming, while Deluxe is more on photography, though both can do the all those functions.

  • zenfone3 deluxe..... is water resistent????

  • zenfone3 deluxe..... is ant+????

  • Hello guys, i want to ask the opinion about Zenfone 3. Should i go with Zenfone 3 Deluxe or Zenfone 3 Ultra? I know it has different specification between these two. But, price was so close. Only few buck different. Please help me guys.

  • Oppo f1, the coolest Android I have seen so far

  • Does anyone know when the zenfone 3 deluxe and ultra are going to released in the UK. It is taking so long for asus yo release these very good phones and other competitors are already taking the market with crap ones.

  • It'll depend on the pricing of the ZF3 Deluxe, because you can pick up the Xiaomi Mi5 for $350 on sale from China. If you'd like the biggest bang for the buck phone, then the Mi5 is a no-brainer. If you don't mind spending more and getting a phone with a better camera, expandable storage and also a tougher phone (glass vs. metal) you can wait out the ZF3 Deluxe.

  • - "better display" - How do you know? The flaw of the OP3 is that it uses PenTile pixel arrangement, ZF3 Deluxe has a "Super AMOLED" display, which is also a PenTile display. - "better battery" - The ZF3 Deluxe and OP3 have the same battery capacity (3000 mAh) - "more durable" - the OP3 is pretty damn tough, just look at some crash tests. Also we don't have any reports about ZF3 Deluxe build quality. I agree about the rest. And please don't think that I'm hating on the ZF3 Deluxe :) It's currently the phone I'm the most hyped about.

  • As of looking at the specifications i will recommend zenfone 3 deluxe but the price is yet not confirmed if you can afford zenfone the go for this bad boy.

  • which one is better asus zenfone 3 or xiaomi mi 5?

  • Dude go for asus zenfone 3 deluxe coz it's better in every way U have expandable memory Better display Better battery Awesome camera More durable

  • Guys which one is better Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe or Oneplus 3

  • Snapdragon 821 as well as super amoled display consumed less battery as compared to ips display.....

  • waiting for such configuration desperately. Hoping to get it in India in the month of August. hoping to get it within the range of 30k to 40k

  • Release date in taiwan = july 12th, Release date in USA = august 14th. read up on it. great phone. great price. still deciding between this and the zenfone 3.

  • If there will be huge price different between Zenfone 3 D and Axon 7 have 3800 battery (If i remember right), ill go for Axon, i dont have idea about ZTE, is it good/trustworty brand ? Thanks.

  • me too.. cannot wait. gonna t buy s7 edge

  • The phone is not available in the market, Date of released was posted, how come is not available?

  • The revealed price for this phone is too high and I cannot afford it for its decent specifications.

  • Yes really too long waiting I am loosing charm in this product. Will move to ZTE axon 7

  • Asus u are so lazy, gap between launch and availability is like conceiving a child and delivering it

  • FHD AMOLED (pentile) for 5,7 is not good choice

  • battery only 3000Amh?

  • Don't know why companies take do much time to release product after launching. And not even give release date. Fed-up of waiting will shift to other brand or model currently available in market. It's to bad marketing policy to take this much of time to release product after launching.

  • Any idea when will this be on sale in singapore? Looking forward to this

  • They know it more than you do..

  • Brother Snapdragon 821 is only for 256 GB version of Zenfone 3 Deluxe, for 64 and 128 GB version there will be Snapdragon 820.

  • You cant judge Zenfone 3 Deluxe by hardware, look at Xperia E5 2700mah + 1.3 Ghz Quad Core A53 + HD Screen and just get 47H Endurance ranting while Zenfone 2 with Quad Core Intel Atom 2.3 Ghz + FHD Screen + 3000mah + Buggy Android 5.0 and get 59H Endurance.

  • GSMARENA.com this phone has Snapdragon 821 processor now not an 820.

  • So much for working on Verizon :(

  • Have you tried using this phone already?

  • very very poor battery, and spares are also VARY VARY costly.

  • Dearest readers.First of all,I really enjoy beautiful contests of technology and electronic between all brands, especially this unique fabulous outstanding Asus 3 Deluxe! But since some unknown known spamming forces preventing me writing for such high quality products and my smartDevice because of not upgrading and updating can not resist them, unfortunately I can not continue writing for this unexpectedly unique extra ordinary device without S D 821!?Hopefully,Asus reconsiders my logical rights for resistance in knowledge field. Thanks all, gsmarena,Asus, etc.Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar.Only Hope.

  • i want to know value of the phone. So please update the value of this phone.

  • dont mind the spec, mind about the performance.

  • 4 cores. 2 + 2

  • High CP value cellphone!! New Snapdragon 821 /6GB RAM / 256 GB ROM/ 5.7 Super Amoled

  • Yeah. the Snapdragon 820 and 821 are quad-core processors

  • Dual core x2 Four dual core ! No!! Totally : Quad core

  • That power with non removable 3000 mah battery? luls

  • I think it's four dual cores. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 has two quad cores, I think.

  • 2x dual core

  • Very attractive configuration, but I’m quite skeptical about its CPU dual-core specs.

  • 2xdual core + 2x dual core = 4 cores :)

  • should it be already launched?

  • 5.7" but stil 1090x1920 resolution..i haven't tried zte brand but according to their specs. they are almost the same but for me i'll go with the ZTE Axon 7 in terms of display..but for network speed i'll go for zenfone 3..

  • 6000mah??are u insane..better u get leagoo shark 1 with 6300mah battery,hahaha,u are so childish person,haha

  • It has a microSD... it accepts up to 256GB cards.

  • based on the specs. it appears to be Quad (Two dual cores)

  • Dual core??

  • Expecting for Zenfone 3 deluxe review as soon as possible. Please, please, please........

  • Yes, But : I mean famous latest smartphone such as htc 10, X.performance also Samsung GS7 ...

  • Thanks for confirmation. I was so excited about this phone, since I am very satisfied with my Zenfone 2. But SD card is for me essential :( I guess I will have to wait to next model and hope for SD slot to return

  • Zte nubia z11 also have a complete packages like this one including ir blaster..

  • Start its launch on 12 July 2016 in Taiwan and then subsequently to other countries. I am curious to know if it can allow video calls as the Zenfone 2 laser does not have this feature.

  • cant wait to launch in croatia :)

  • Yes. You can only use sim 2 slot to alternate between sim card or micro sd. You can't use 2 sim and a micro sd simultaneously.

  • Also Z3D is only phone with Infrared Port!! Sonic Master on Z3D speaker is awesome option. Really lovely phone ...

  • Update your stats. The phone has been upgraded to snapdragon 821 processor chip. It has a sonic master 3.0 for the speakers. Invisible antenna in a full metal body display. Pick out every details. That's what will make you the best.

  • i wish the 3000mah is not final..with this beauty and the beast phone must have 3800mah and up or else this phone is just snow white for the beauty and the dwarf is the batt..

  • Does statement "microSD, up to 256 GB (uses SIM 2 slot)" mean, that I would be able only to use just 1 SIM and memory card? And if I would like to use 2 SIMs it won't be possible to use memory card? Thank you for clarification

  • Battery make it 6000mah.

  • The processor has been updated silently on ASUS website to SD 821 running at 2.30 GHz However, the specification tab on the same page still shows SD 820 @ 2.15 GHz

  • It certainly has manual control just like previous Zenfone models. RAW photos are not happening imo, though I could be wrong.

  • LOL. Don't count the number of cores. These Kyro cores are very powerful and currently leading the market. HTC 10, One plus 3, Samsung S7/Edge and many flagships like them are using same processor.

  • More battery capacity requires more space. That is why device gets thicker when using high capacity battery. To maintain a good design and keep the device thin, they choose a battery of medium capacity.

  • Asus Zenfone 3 doesn't have a manual camera control & RAW image support . Can anyone confirm this ?

  • Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe has backlit buttons not like the earlier models and that was installed after the criticism it had in the past

  • Desirable !! So much ...

  • Zenfone 3 Deluxe and HTC 10 must has same related devices on GSMArena article because HTC and ASUS its same country (Taiwan) like LG and Samsung.

  • the batteries are not switchable so if you want to do it (and it is possible) you need to go to a asus store

  • I like the specs, looks great too but one thing I do not like is the capacitive buttons. I don't think it has backlit? I prefer onscreen buttons or atleast like the ones on the Oneplus's. Other than that it looks great.

  • Waiting here in phil. Asus take my money asap!

  • yes it has been updated, though there mentioned "up to s821" which mean there will be different version of 3 deluxe

  • battery is small , dont know why companies opting fr smaller batteries :/ whn they can easily increase battery size... like in oneplus 3 also ,,, onnly 300mAh... they should have made back of phone and camera lens on equal height ... by doing this they , they can increaase battery size also, tleast 3500 mah same with zenfone 3 deluxe , they should have increase its thickness to 1-2mm and increase battery to atleast 3700 or 4000mAh cz 820 + 530 + huge 5.7" display :/ then zf3d would have been killer phone .. samsung did great job by increasing battery capacity.

  • amoled display = screen burn

  • Spec wise.. WOW 0.O) Design wise... blehhhh ~_~) The ultra wide and uneven gap between bezel and screen is the most ugly part of this phone. And we forced to see it every time we use the phone.

  • Release yesterday in Malaysia

  • in asia they will be released 12 july says another post from this site

  • I want To knpw what's tha advance of 6gb RAM for Smartphones? Does it have any significant progress compared To 4gb ram? Thank you for your answers

  • its already july 1 when will this phone release

  • one plus 3 says that their super charging does not introduce heat to critical components. Others say that fast charging is touch on the battery. I rather charge every evening and let the battery chill out.

  • Its actually going to have a snapdragon 821 if you check the asus website

  • Only 2 dual cores? Is that a typo???

  • 5.7'' is too big ! 5.3'' is enough . They should also make 5.3'' size .

  • i said one time and i will say again asus zenfone 3 deluxe is the best phone

  • Rumor has it this might actually come with the 823 or 828 and not the 820. Even better

  • 3000mah isnt too bad, Redmi Note 3 Mediatek for example its still has bad battery life even with 4000mah and there its many factor to make a great battery life like SoC,screen, battery condition,SoC,mah battery,Apps,OS/UI,sensor,environmental and user its self. Not only bigger Mah battery. BTW Zenfone 3 its the BEST for me.

  • its enough for me, look at gsmarena review, zenfone2 has 64H endurance while many non intel has 64H- endurance like LG G4 and Redmi Note 2.

  • There could be no suitable phone for you. want to set up a factory to make one?

  • I can't wait to have this

  • There is no IR blaster!!!

  • now asus zenfone 3 deluxe is the best phone !!!

  • asus zenfone 3 is now the best phone

  • listen asus zenfone 3 is the better than samsung galaxy s7 edge ok

  • Then make your own dude

  • Right..must have minimal 4000 mAh

  • Yeah maybe.. im glad they're choosing SD chipset, the high-end one (820).. now they've realized that intel chipset won't work with smartphone,yet.. i mean, intel is excellent with PC's and laptops, but not smartphone, because their chipset consumes battery so much, even they came out with 10000mAh battery also can never be enough.. hahaha..

  • How much for this Unit.ang this unit is have A plan.

  • How sad isn't it? If another well-known brand, they will stick with their 2600mAh battery.. and im just like, laughing at their phones..

  • Hahhaa.. Asus just wanna making fun of us with this spec of zenfone 3 deluxe.. Not just Asus, but actually all smartphone manufacturers will not giving their best "flagship killer" specs, because they're tricking you to buy it, for example Samsung and Sony..they're even trying to sell low specs and rubbish phone with a "competitive" price they said(dont know what they're thinking) ..this is how their marketing strategy works in order to make their products sold out.. don't u see it? With super amoled display, support 4k recording, massive ram, massive rom and all of that shit, but still with their stupid 3000mAh battery.. they assume you guys gonna buy this "flagship killer", then they will come out with another series, with the same specs but maybe a bit larger battery capacity, let say 3600mAh maybe.. again, they've fooled you to buy it.. be a smart user.. we don't need to buy their shit for many times.. i have to say this cause im not a smartphone collector.. please, im not bashing this product, but im just tired seeing all of this smartphone specs..

  • let it be even 50GB RAM and 100 GB ROM.......battery is important.....Asus zenfone max has 5000 mAh....and this deluxe only 3000 mAh?

  • just try zandfone 3 deluxe asus battery 4600 mah definitely sold on the market...

  • I wish to know, when this phone will be available?

  • 1. A general question: why is it impossible to make a dedicated SD card slot? Refers to all new smartphones. 2. Why only 3000 maH whereas the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra ZU680KL is promised to have 4600 maH? 3. Here it is claimed that Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL has "Dual SIM (Nano-SIM/ Micro-SIM, dual stand-by, dual active)" whereas ASUS site claims it has "Both SIM card slots support 3G WCDMA/ 4G LTE network band. But only one SIM card can connect to 3G WCDMA/ 4G LTE service at a time" (https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-3-Deluxe-ZS570KL/specifications/) just like Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra ZU680KL. I'd prefer a Deluxe version with 4600 maH (or more, why stop there), and a dedicated card slot, and dual active. Sweet dreams...

  • Prefer zenfone 3 deluxe. Better wait a while for better specs. And the infrared feature u'll love it, it'll become usefull for remote replacement of your home electronic devices such as tv, dvd player, ac, sound system (home theater), set top box & many more.

  • Agree. Better wait a while for better specs.

  • Hopefully the 6/256GB version really available (not dream specs just like s*****g creating n*** 3 with ROM 64GB but the actual product isn't available) & the price tag isn't way up ahead beyond the reach.

  • Its hang month by month..

  • You do realise that there are three versions of this phone. The reqular 3 has a smaller screen and similar specs.

  • even thought it's just 3000mAh, the battery will last long, bcz it's not inte* anymore. snapdragon consumes less power, it could last a single day with single charging. am i correct?

  • i have zenfone 2 nice phone no problem still working nice almost 1 year i use this phone nice product asus keep it up nice product hope zen 3 also the same

  • Yes i have same problem... The batery.... For what if you have a high performance smartphone but everytime you go you're looking for power plug or you must bring the heavy powerbank every where you go.

  • It will use snapdragon processor, I think it would be different against zen 2. I hope No more over heat and No more hang.

  • when this device reach malaysia?

  • Bro this is dual kryo which means faster than the octacore.

  • I had a zenfone 2 once at the beginning it runs like a beast damn smooth, but after a month the device is really unusable it hangs , overheat and lags hope zenfone 3 has no prob with it.

  • asus proved that smartphone should not cost to much. whoever behind this product, Thank you so much for creating a good smartphone.

  • screen resolution and battery capacity should be increased. Apart from that it is going to be an amazing smartphone.

  • Overall, Good Specs..But : 1. Display Size is too big. At least 5.2-5.5" is acceptable 2. Battery capacity is to small for extra large display, monster procie and memory. At least make it 4000mah or maybe like Asus Zenfone Max at 5000mah

  • 3000 mah battery for this is too bad why this company increases battery capacity upto min. 400mh

  • I love asus smartphone, i use zenfone 2 551ml. N i ll upgrade to zenfone 3 or maybe z titan. But.. why asus make this good stuff bigger than mine. I hate that. I hope asus give me a simple phone with a good spec next time

  • Battery only lags otherwise good full specs

  • Root your phone and install NoFrill from Playstore...u will love your Asus ..

  • Ofcourse zen3 deluxe

  • Multitouch is up to 10 fingers capacitive touch

  • SD820 is a quad-core

  • So i am looking for big screen size, sd slot, good camera quality, and now ill have to decide from Zenfor 3 Delux & OnePlus 3 & Zuk 2 Pro, which one do u think will be best in quality and speed ? i saw friends Xiomi Note 3 and screen look very dull and gave me Chinese quality impression, i dont want anything like that. thanks

  • Does anyone know when this might be released to the US market? Their US website isn't even mentioning this phone.

  • asus is trying to trick us with no qhd

  • It does have fm radio

  • Why dual core only? Pls released octa core version

  • I cant buy this because of its low battery power. 3000mah to power all its features? i bought the zenfone 2 ze551ml with 2.3ghz cpu,4gb ram and 64gb storage in April,2016. now i'm planning to sell it cause of the power. too bad.

  • nice..but still no D proof n W resistnt..S7 is better..hehe

  • very good lounching should be fast

  • Ah and just remembered about a really promising and some what a phone that covers all the things ZTE AXON 7 now this is one really superb phone don't know when or will it launch in INDIA but really expecting it to and waiting to buy one :)

  • According to me: 1. I don't like the asus ui & its bloatware (yeah i know root it and flash a rom, but i don't want to do that at least for a year and a half of buying a phone [currently using oppo find 7a, rom: dirty unicorns 9.4] so just bumms me out lolz even thinking about using this phone with that ui for that long) also rooting and flashing roms have their fair share of disadvantages from the experiences with my phone, so this is what makes me incline towards oneplus 3. Oh yeah and also there are worries about the software support from asus, oneplus 3 has already received 3 updates. 2. I'm worried about the battery life of this phone as asus phones are notoriously know for giving low battery life. But then again being a 1080p instead of qhd helps and i'm happy about that. Still if you ask me being a 5.7 inch odd screen i think they should have fitted a larger battery like about 4000 mah and i would not mind that little bit of thickness given the benefit of battery life.

  • 5,7" screen is too big for my hand :D

  • Literally the same thing as the OnePlus 3, but it also has an SD card slot. If it comes in under $450, I'll for sure be picking one of these up instead of a OnePlus 3 next month. The SD slot is a complete game changer. Why OnePlus doesn't have one on the 3, I will never understand. Baffles me. 64GB isn't enough for me :( (40GB+ in music ALONE that I keep downloaded, and that grows on a daily basis. Can't get unlimited data from any carriers here for a reasonable price to be able to stream. $50 a month for 2gb of data is the cheapest it gets, $150+ for unlimited on one line T_T) Shame.

  • With all of this processing power and screen technology I think I should have put a 4000 mAh battery inside of his baby that will make everyone happy but uses it that's just my opinion

  • This is my next smartphone 😊😊😊

  • Am a long time SONY user & feels like the time for a change has come. This one has some interesting features, tho the lower display ppi pixel density is a big disappointment for me compared to what am used to look at in my Xperia Z3!

  • Why its soooo hard to get a phone with full packages..some missing sd card..others no ir blaster..this one no fm radio..its a SMARTphone!so just add a smart features into it..dont pull them from it!...

  • I love this phone this will be my next one i am now using zen phone selfie...hoping it will be out in the philippine market soon and the price ?

  • Sorry, i mean no Dedicated SD card slot in OnePlus3!!!! :)

  • I think good buy SONY! Perfect replacement for my Z2!

  • please read the specification properly before you comment sir... thanks :)

  • The zf2 4gig was great but the shape made it a slippery sucker always sliding around, now zf3 with a gorilla glass back, dunno. Anyway looking forward to see this battery performance and a presale option or at least a date already!

  • i wish this phone had ip68 ratings

  • Cant imagine how the battery life will survive with only 3000mah and have specs like this....6gb ram..wasting bateery life faster

  • This is my next smartphone 😊😊😊

  • But, Oneplus 3 does not have SD Card slot.

  • There is. It's called OnePlus 3. Never settle.

  • Should try. The UI is smart and user friendly.

  • Dearest....Congregations.Finally Asus with think Deluxe went to the high ends!Amazing qualities according to the specifications here about this rightly 5.7 inches 6 RAM phablet!!!Must wait for gsmArena,s review!?Thanks all.Just hoping for updates and upgrades of Asus previous goog products like Fonepad is all Asus followers and friends dreamy hopes!!Possible for Asus!!!?Yes!Why not!!?Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar.is waiting too!!!

  • there should be 1 more version: Snapdragon 652, 5,5inch, 6GB Ram, 4000mAh, waterproofing would be very appreciated.

  • wouldnt be able to tell the diff anyway. it's Full HD, on 5'7inch. you go 2K then 500+ppi, which is an overkill, burn battery as well as higher cost. FULLHD is always good enough, considering the battery and price.

  • SAYS WHO? zenfone 2 has dedicated microsd slot, and will be updated to marshmallow. and so does all the android one phones.

  • It has full HD super amoled screen which is equally good as qhd IPS LCD screen

  • Is there any latest smartphones with fingerprint sensor, 4gb Ram & Dual Sim with dedicated SD card slot???? I want to upgrade from my ZenFone 2!!!!

  • Can anyone give me a release date for this phone please in Europe thanks

  • You really don't no any thing about ZenFone series

  • No infrared port on top of the phone.....

  • Very True. This Asus has beaten Galaxy S7 10-0.its tha champ in waiting..

  • Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe camera test: /watch?v=gcOVQQeH2ig /watch?v=mK78nBiBTXE /watch?v=q45lM7W_AiU Sony IMX318 /watch?v=1GSdgnB3-W4 Note: Software is not final. My zenfone 5 is on par with iphone 6's camera after the update. So this is gonna be more polished after asus finalizes its software.

  • AMOLED is the best technology for screens

  • Its 2016 brother... You have 256 GB inbuild... Include as many as songs you want that you dont need FM... If 256 GB is not enough then you have expandable slot upto 250 GB ;)

  • Just to add up to your knowledge, Marshmallow does not support dedicated SD Card slot.

  • You must be the only person left on Earth that wants to listen to FM radio on their phone.

  • First of all, launching a phone without FM in India is a serious issue to the company. Need to Add FM Radio if Asus want to sell it in Inda. Secondly, the black bezels are too thick, there should be a thinner or no black bezel. Just doesnt goes with the design at all. Hope the above gets fixed in Zenfone 4

  • aww c'mon, iphone designers always avoided to use amoled and stick with IPS but people bashed them, now people hate amoled for screen burn overtime, which screen technology do you guys really want?

  • This device has only 386 ppi, well i guess zooming in might see the pixels

  • that's because you get a new phone every year or 2

  • Why amoled??? so you guys like screen burn overtime. none of my Samsung phone got out this problem. s, s2, s3, s5 note, note2, note3. so why use this so bad tech as premium???

  • My parent use the Asus 6.0 (previous version) got notable yellow tint while viewing from the side angle. It really shock me, but the straight view is acceptable, just the screen too bright, when enable reading mode it become blue tint, so weird. That why I believe you get what you pay for.

  • SDcard not dedicated. The good sdcard slot must be dedicated , so it does not sacrifice the sim card slot 2

  • Z5 can utilize its camera potential when the user know the manual mode or tricks for better result. Let's face the reality, today people just launch the camera and shoot. Sony in Auto mode is bad. If they can fix this to their camera software. I will be go back to Sony again.

  • That's the problem with sony. camera optimization to their software

  • a what? 386 ppi pixel density? while the zenfone 2 has 403 ppi!

  • Battery could have been bigger...it is a bigger device than before..bigger battery would have been a nice addition!

  • There's FM radio. But no IR port.

  • really this zenfone 3 deluxe seem to be the highest specs phone in the world. "cat 12" is really the highest so far and i love that. samsung galaxy s7 is "cat 9" which was the highest then. i am a heavy internet downloader so i really need this speed. well done asus.

  • Ois is better than iPhone 6s

  • The best flagship to date Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe... Well done.

  • It most use internal keys

  • I saw full Asus event and price of Asus Zf3 deluxe (6gb/64gb) is priced at 499 dollar

  • you do not have internet?? are you spending your time listening to FM radio?? you do not need zenfone 3 deluxe to just listen to radio. my old nokia 110 had the radio, So what???

  • No FM radio- No asus delexe

  • Not sure if there its Bad optimizes camera software or the user cant/dont know to use it. Like Sony Xperia Z5 you can reducing MP (8MP recomended [feel shoot by iPhones sta]) to activated "Oversampling" and many tricks to get the best photos.

  • Hi guys ! I haven't used asus phone but for the batterie i think with a super amoled full HD display which is leSS power comsummer and also with à 14 nm finfet prossessor which is also good power efficient and not to mention the 6 Go of RAM ,the phone would spend more than à day comparing to phones with IPS QHD display which consumme enough

  • I totally agree with you and what you said especially with the huge battery size I wish there was a way for them to really see both put this process into play why have a phone with such power with a small crappy battery it just wouldn't make any sense and you will not make any money but with the huge battery that you recommended and I wish that this letter can go straight to the company for those guys to redo the whole phone even though it's going to make a little extra but we don't care about size when we can have a phone that will last us with all these killer monstrosity specs great minds think alike

  • is it really true ...?

  • What holds me back from buying Zenfone most is the thick side bezel. Their Zenfone 2 lines with 5.5" screen (which translates into 68mm screen width) have 77mm phone width. That means around 4.5mm width for each side bezel. #facepalm. This Zenfone 3 Deluxe still has the same 77 width, but with 5.7" screen (translates into 70mm screen width), around 3.5mm width for each side bezel. Not that much bump, but definitelly nicer!

  • This post was a joke, right? You must have been satirizing the typical "give me everything I want and give it to me for $99" sentiment of the average GSMarena reader.

  • Coz Sony image processing is very bad that's why their camera are average

  • m not saying sony sensors are bad, m saying just because its a sony sensor that doesnt means the camera is going to be good..... coz der own smartphone's cameras are average

  • I have a few suggestions for ASUS to incorporate a few improvements to this phone and they can expect people to go crazy about this phone. 4 improvements to Zenfone 3 deluxe ZS570KL: 1) Incorporate FM radio- I mean, seriously, how could you even think of launching a device without an inbuilt FM radio. In this music frenzy world where people want to live with live music. I'm sure this is going to be a big NO-NO for any phone buyer. 2) Decrease the dimensions of the phone - I mean, seriously again, people want to keep the phone in their pockets and not use it as 'pudding plates'. A 5 inch screen is enough for a phone or increase it to 5.5 with the screen to body ratio being at least 72% or above. This would really help you design phones with smaller physical dimensions. Being a technical person I understand the necessity of the 'extra' body but still, the device needs to fit in our pockets 'safely'. And this is seriously very important - 'safely' - making sure that the phone doesn't fall out of our formal trouser pockets in our daily run in the life. 3) Dedicated slot for SD card: Come on!!! stop joking. What's the purpose of buying a dual sim phone if one can not use 2 sims at the same time when one slot is being used up by the memory card. Although I understand that after 128/256 GB of internal memory being available one shouldn't need an extra memory card BUT if you are providing a service then my request is please do so without making it to interfere with another service being provided. Allow the users to use both the services at the same time. Otherwise it doesn't make sense providing multiple features but with a caveat of only one can be utilized at a time. 4) Please Please Please increase the battery to 5000 mAh with fast charging: The battery of a Zenfone has always been the biggest 'NO' factor for buyers. Increasing the battery size will attract people to try using the phone once more, to give it a try once more and once people find it actually living a life of more than a day or 2, it will be a big 'superhit' without any question. I understand that this might put restrictions on decreasing the physical dimensions of the phone but I'm sure that the technical people sitting in ASUS can obviously find for the best balance between the two BUT yes, keep note that customers would really love to own a phone with a longer battery life without taking long to get fully charged and which can fit in their pockets 'safely'. A Zenfone from ASUS with all the specs from Zenfone 3 deluxe included along with the 4 enhancements suggested above will help ASUS gain a huge market share and increse it's popularity as well. I am an ASUS fan and would love to see a phone of the suggested kind launch in the market. All the best!

  • This phone is good based on its specs

  • If the asus optimize the camera to their software, this will be badass. Still let's wait. So shut up and wait until the unit is available.

  • Many people talking about camera, this is the simple answer noobs, even if the phone is using sony camera, if not good optimize to their camera software, it will not bring out the best result. LOL.

  • Dude, its optimization of the camera software. that's the answer. LOL. Sony is one of the biggest supplier of camera for samsung, apple. etc.

  • then why their own phones suck in photography??? except z5

  • my comment is about the aperture and pixel size which is nowhere close to "amazing" in dis flagship phone. u shud educate urself wid how a camera works.....

  • FHD is the best you can do?!!

  • 499 $

  • expected date to be launch in philippines market ?

  • When this phone come to malaysia...asus malaysia please reply

  • Thats because Sony has the best of the best

  • Dual Sim but not dual active. See Asus website

  • How the camera of this phone

  • Whatever dat phone is using baddest camera or more. The people behind the "gun" its more important than dat phone's camera. Even my Zenfone 2 makes more likes on FB than Mi4i photos (Which Mi4i famously cause has great camera on this price range). And Zenfone 3 camera's has more enchanment than Mi5 camera with same camera sensor (Sony IMX 298) like 3 Axis EIS,Color Correction Sensor (same as LG G4 and LG G5's Spectrum sensor) and 2nd gen Laser AF so you can imagine how good Zenfone 3 Deluxe camera (Sony IMX 318) because its has more price and enchanment from Sony IMX 230 like built in hybrid AF and 3 Axis EIS (Sony IMX 300's Sony Xperia Z5 has too) and has same camera hardware enchanment of Zenfone 3 so its must be great to fighting 2016 flagship smartphone's camera and no BLLSHT anymore.

  • The phone has barely launched stop saying bullshit about camera.....It's not even tested properly...

  • Hey, its way better than APPLE in many ways...

  • most of the flagships use sony's camera that's nothing to be embarrassed about...lol

  • Because it looks pretty much the same as a 2K display (unless you're using it for VR) but it doesn't waste battery. And it's AMOLED, so it probably has better contrast and saturation than the LG G5 or the Moto X Style. 2K on a smartphone is just a big waste of battery that makes no practical difference.

  • Spec is great but design still sucks, but at least better than its predecessor.... WTH with that gap between bezel and screen? And its also uneven, the one below is larger and its ugly. What is the point to have thinnest bezel if it has the largest screen gap -_-)

  • even wid its 23 mp camera i hoghly doubt it can take pics as good as 12 mp from samsung or apple or lg. dont get fooled by the 'megapixels'.... look at d entire xperia z series, total disaster even wid d higher mp count..... look at its aperture, f/2.0 is on d lower side of average by 2016 standards. f/1.8 would have done the job IMHO.... and once again, the "PIXEL SIZE" is very small. this camera is gonna work great in daylight and will die in misery when the sun goes down..... rest of d specs look great.

  • why its disply quality is weak this is the only bad thing

  • ugh wrong. This is alot of megapixels for a smartphone. The Samsung s4 has 13mp. Z3D has 10 more, the camera is not going to be awful whatsoever with a Sony sensor.

  • Micro SD card 256Gb + Internal M 256Gb Total : More than "400Gb" is Excellent for me.

  • " Dual stereo 5 Magnet speakers " alas, really alas just one single 5 Magnet speaker in Z3D. But, overall Z3D is Best choice. In the end : dear Asus don't forget !! Updates (os also monthly security) Arigato.

  • Sleek design, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage... I could run 5 whatsapp, 5 viber, 5 skype accounts simultaneously! Who cares about not so perfect camera... I would love to see it with Windows 10 though, probably it will be possible... :))) And its quality that I love most about Asus...no matter what product they make it is probably the best performance/quality/money ratio in whole electronics world!

  • Dear Anushka, Thanks for good info.

  • Great Smartphone but the price is killing :-(

  • A lot of what you said is just plain lip service. Until it is proven that Sony can actually bend the laws of physics, then a small pixel size will indeed produce noisy photos in low-light.

  • ..but without the help of GPU" CPU is dead slow

  • I think this is a great mobile and I go to buy this, the people are so stupid take a iphone or samsung for a lot of money and dont say nathing if they are a shiiiit. All are the same only the big publicity and marketing of the big companies make you to thing uaaaaauuuu. I'm a iphone user and I'm very desapointment with it for a lot of things and lm go to change it. Dont see the marketing i have a samsung phone and im change it. The Asus make a very good phones for the price and im go to take one.

  • Asus is using sony's camera...

  • First Dual CoreFone : LG®™Optimus™2X First 2MP Front CameraFone : LG®™Optimus™2X First Finger Print SensorFone: MOTOROLA®™Atrix™4G First Water Resistant RepellentFone : MOTOROLA®™DROiD™RAZR™ First Natural Human Voice ProcessingFone : MOTOROLA®™MOTO™X [Mobile X Computing System] First Always On Display : MOTOROLA®™MOTO™X

  • Yeah for p26,000- i think this phone deserves it

  • I hope this phone had at least 4000mah battery, waterproof and with fm radio and tv with local channels

  • Shut up and take my money ASUS!

  • What? check Snapdragon 820 on the spec sheet, with Kryo cores, even though 820 is only dual core, it is the fastest SOC in the market.

  • By SONY: Sony Announces a New Type 1/2.6 22.5 Megapixel Exmor RS™, the Industry's First*1 Stacked CMOS Image Sensor with Built-in Hybrid Autofocus and 3-Axis Electronic Image Stabilization. SONY IMX318: Main Features 1. The industry's smallest unit pixel size at 1.0μm, achieving compact size (type 1/2.6) while realizing 22.5 effective megapixels high resolution As smartphones grow ever thinner, so too are image sensors growing increasingly more compact. In line with this trend, Sony has developed a miniscule 1.0μm pixel sensor that, despite its small size, realizes high image quality. To accomplish this, Sony employed manufacturing technology that improves light utilization efficiency, as well as circuit design technology that eliminates noise, a root cause of deterioration in image quality. With this innovation, Sony has realized an image sensor that delivers high quality images, while also boasting small optical size and a high resolution of 22.5 megapixels. Night shots have long been a weak point for the compact cameras used in smartphones, with the lack of light translating into excessive visual noise. The IMX318 addresses this weakness and realizes beautiful photography in nighttime conditions. 2. The industry's first*1 image sensor with built-in hybrid AF, as fast as 0.03 seconds*2, and 3-axis electronic image stabilization Hybrid AF Hybrid AF, which merges image plane phase detection AF with contrast detection AF, has previously been realized through the combination of an image sensor and an application processor. But with the IMX318, Sony has created the industry's first*1 stacked CMOS image sensor with hybrid AF built into the sensor's internal signal processor. The IMX318 leverages Sony's high-speed AF technology that has been honed over many years, boasting an AF as fast as 0.03 seconds*2 (and as fast as 0.017 seconds when shooting video at 60fps). With this power in hand, the user can capture those decisive moments reliably in focus, whether shooting stills or video. 3-axis electronic image stabilization for video With the IMX318, Sony has also created the industry's first*1 stacked CMOS image sensor with image stabilization functionality built into its internal signal processor. This sensor leverages the image stabilization technology that Sony has cultivated over its years developing cameras, realizing smooth 4K*3 videos with little camera shake by making effectively use of the signal output obtained from the external 3-axis (pitch, yaw, and roll) gyro sensor*4. Sony's unique image stabilization technology incorporated into the IMX318 corrects not only camera shake, but also lens distortion, making for more beautiful videos. Furthermore, because image stabilization is achieved by processing within the hardware of the image sensor, less power is used than when it is accomplished by software processing in the external application processor. Since it enables smooth video shooting, this image sensor is suited for incorporation into not only smartphones, but also a variety of other products that tend to generate substantial camera shake, such as aerial drones used for image capture. 3. 4K and high frame rate video recording, through high-speed communications leveraging the latest MIPI specifications Sony elected to adopt the MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) Alliance's latest C-PHY 1.0/D-PHY 1.2 specifications for this image sensor's interface. With this interface, the IMX318 is able to achieve more power efficient and faster data transmission from the image sensor to the application processor. As a result, even at the high resolution of 22.5 megapixels, transmission is realized for all pixels at 30fps. This enables seamless switching between high resolution video and still image photography, realizing the best of both worlds. Since the image sensor can transmit greater-than-4K resolution images for all pixels to the application processor, the user can capture 22.5 megapixel still images even while in the middle of recording video in 4K*3 at 30fps.

  • What do you mean small pixel? men, 23MP rear camera shooter, with 4 axis OIS, Zenfone 3 Deluxe is powered by the latest IMX318 image sensor hat will be use also on the coming Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The pixel size? 1 µm pixel size is not the MP count. Pixel Size Sensor size is useful for getting an idea of how much space in the smartphone camera module is consumed by the sensor, but less useful for gauging total light collection as megapixel counts vary between smartphones. This is where pixel size comes in, giving a direct measure of how large the individual photodetectors are in the CMOS sensor. for you to understand read this article: For your reference. :)

  • Yes But have you seen the sample images? Don't be fooled by the size. This baby does low light photography better that an iPhone 6S Plus. read this dpreview write up:

  • Design definitely has improvement than the previous version, but still... I don't like it one bit. But the value is great, so I can still fine with it. Problem is the size... 5.7" is too big, won't fit in pocket, and also 3000mAh battery will drain real fast. Rather than slimmer side design with thick center, I wonder why doesn't they just make it flat and fill the room with bigger battery...?! 7.5mm thickness is still absolutely fine and 40 grams weight increase for another 3000mAh battery won't make any different.

  • You must learn more about ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe's camera here →

  • whats going on with its camera....???? the pixel size is ridiculously small, whats the use of 23 mp sensor then???? even galaxy s4 which is more den 3 years old had bigger pixels than this..... the camera is going to be terrible. rest looks very good. they should also do somethng abt that black bezel, its ugly.

  • superb phone but little focus on battery asus

  • bezel everywhere

  • Now i just wish Asus would give some sort of software gurantee on their phones like "all phones will be upgraded to 2 following versions of android at least, once the hardware can run it smoothly" if not, make a bootloader unlocker so people can load their own OS, CyanogenOS, etc.

  • It's actually from 200 ppi to 800 ppi :) My 3000s mAh phones survive a day or more in moderate use, and hit 8 ~ 12 hours screen time on. I think it's all about the battery management software? But extra capacity is no bad either. As long as you don't mind the additional weight to your phone.

  • I still waiting 4 this phone...

  • Does it hav RAW imaging format?

  • I want to buy this phone as my first mobile with 6gb of ram.

  • Too big5,7inch?5inch is more better.3000mAH is small.

  • Killer specs, poor battery

  • 64 bit operating systems can run 32 bit programs.

  • 10000 mAh battery capacity not bad for other first by Asus.

  • and 3000mAh again....in past few years we raised from 512mb to 6gb RAM, from 1 core to 10, from 200ppi to 400-500ppi. But battery is still 3000mAh, developers please hear our prays :), we want not only fast mobile, but battery which survives more that 1 day...

  • We have many first in world smartphone : First OIS in front camera in htc10 First dual core CPU in GS2 First 41Mp sensor in 808 pure view First dual camera in !? First remove 3.5mm jack in iPhone 7 pro Warning: last first very dangerous so! All brands stay away fr awesome innovation! Now My suggestion 4 Asus : First 5.1ch or 7.1ch in Z3D speakers. Arigato

  • No doubt sd820 Kyro is a beast, but it is typical American, like their cars brute v8....

  • I am hoping that they will come up with another variant that uses the sd 823, a 5 incher...:) If not the 5.7 is fine.... really wish that the deluxe comes with good display and camera, if they do take my money now!😂

  • I don't like Xiaomi because I don't trust so much their products. Samsung, LG, Apple have prove worldwide quality ! Even Huawei has a very good and proved quality and reach US, UE but Xiaomi ...

  • I think that this should have made the battery ofor 4000mah instead of the measly 3000 mAh I know you will agree with me but with all this power you need a batery that is capable I'm giving you at least 2 days

  • Not really. More cores is for Multitasking. Besides almost no apps can utilize eight cores at once they only use four. And look at S7 and LG G5. Its using snapdragon 820 too. Its currently one or even the fastest processors today.

  • Yes, it is 2 dual core, but it just use 2 core at one time. But it is one of the most powerful processor available for this moment, with the most powerful graphic chip. It beats out all previous years Octa core and Quad core processor, only loose to Samsung's own Octa core processor, but the processor is so powerful that you barely notice any different between the performance. I would say, Snapdragon processor adaption rate is much larger than Samsung processor. So, apps designer also more focus and favor to Snapdragon processor for creating more Snapdragon compatible apps. (Actually all the apps in the Google Playstore download different apps to different processor family, such as Qualcomm Snapdragon, Samsung Exynos, Mediatek MTK, Nvidia Tegra, Intel Atom)

  • How about 10,000 mah battery? Most of the time there is a design limit to fit in big capacity battery into a thin phone. And big battery capacity also doesn't always means better battery life, overall phone hardware and software also need to be configured to the most optimize state to save battery. For me, if a phone can last for a full day of heavy usages, then already can be considered very good, regardless of battery capacity.

  • Quite contrary, I just wait for Xiaomi to come out the phone with OIS, because Xiaomi phone is much more affordable than Nexus phone, which offer feature that almost reach Nexus level, which just 1/3 or 1/2 of Nexus price. Nexus phone is overhyped and expensive. Even Samsung's and LG phone's are more valuable and more worth than Nexus, which always offer much better feature than the slow catch up Nexus with the same price tag.

  • More core doesn't means better and faster, they can be much slower (those low end Mediatek chip), then with lousy graphic chip configuration. Octa core processor also doesn't operate all 8 cores at the same time, they are made up of 2 quad core processor, that using only 4 core at one time. (Mediatek processor is true 8 core, but the speed efficiency is not there, maybe just 4 core are utilized) This Snapdragon 2 dual core processor beats the quad core and octa core processor.

  • Then you just stick to Nexus, which is from Google. All other smartphone's carrying their own brand name are not Nexus, and just borrow the Android OS. You want Nexus with memory slot, but you can't have it.

  • Does it hav RAW imaging format?

  • I think this device will sell start from RM1,999 for 4gb spec and RM2,699 for 6gb spec.

  • CPU is the heartbeat of a smartphone

  • S820 have 4 cores,2 dual core, more powerfull dual core i for more demanding tasks, and lowerpowered dual core i so backuraound taks,ui and apps that dosent need lot of power, and it saves battery life

  • this device is still dual core processor. Can anyone explain to me what is the use of processor in a phone? Is it more on performance thing? Coz I know there's octa core already and I think that is better than dual core right?

  • Remember : " Sd card " yes " usb flash " no. I wanna next gen nexus, but with card slot!

  • It seems, Asus Zenfone 3 doesn't have a manual camera control & RAW image support . Can anyone confirm this ?

  • None of above. We must wait Huawei Nexus 2016 will have SAMOLED and front stereo speakers and OIS for camera (the only important thing missing from actual Huawei 6P which was a big mistake to think is not important). Another mistake they must to resolve is glass back of camera band instead safire

  • 5000 mah battery will be a better choice

  • I hope the battery dont drain fast like the asus zenfone 2. 3000mah battery is a bit low for a 5.7inch and a full hd display

  • it's actually quad core, dual core + dual core, and it's the exact same CPU used in LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 so it's a powerful and high end mobile CPU Chipset Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 CPU Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo GPU Adreno 530 look for LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 specs

  • Snapdragon 820 and Adreno 530 in 1080p will definitely eliminates lag but not woth buying,

  • i think they use safire glass right ?

  • waiting for the release in UAE

  • Choice between Z3D & Zte Axon 7 is very difficult.

  • processor is very good..don't look at the number of core, look at their performance

  • finally, a worth successor to my 3-year-old padfone infinity

  • Position single speaker !? Sound quality in single speaker !? Where & how!?

  • Is slow motion mode supported ? In one hands on video that mode was not there in the camera modes and it was the only hands on video which browsed through the camera modes.

  • Why not! Xperia X : 1. snap 650 2. 5" S.to body ratio %69 3. 2700 mAh 4. MicroUSB v2 5. Stereo Speakers 6. 32Gb/3Gb ram around $670/$700 Z3D : 1. Snap 820 2. 5.7" S.to body ratio %74 3. 3000 mAh 4 USB type-c v 3.0 5.Full metal body 6. 64Gb/4Gb ram around $500 Overall, Z3D is logical choice.

  • 6Gb Ram???

  • its quadcore but the other 2 is only 1.6

  • Its quad core snapdragon 820 [maybe will be sd823 in some markets according to rumours] its perfect and even it has inferard [IR blaster]

  • Just like what i said. Better than xp in almost everything right?

  • best looking phone from Asus!!! Wish Asus will produce a compact version of this Zenfone 3!!! this one too large

  • It's actually quadcore. Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo. Dual + Dual = Quad hahaha.

  • RAM is awesome but the processor is kinda bad, dual core @ 2.15 GHz? make that a quad and i'll buy it for any price.

  • For 64Gb / 4Gb ram = $ 500

  • What's the price tag?

  • this is just what i need 6GB RAM??

  • I want this somebody ship it to my house :)

  • Quad

  • tx , but i have lumia 535 and i m facing a problem bcz there is so many scratches , and if we put our mobile on normal surface that glass start get scratches on it. but tx .

  • not adjusted 16 mpx than 23 mpx......

  • there safire glass to protect

  • How long the battery will last ??? Anyone knows ???

  • why asus why ?? i don't get these , everything is just good but why f**king backside camera bump , asus u have given very powerful camera , then why u do this , beacuse that camera glass can have so many scratches so , have these kind of powerful camera n all why u did these small mistake , now every company goes mad with big display n matel fram with rounded edge that why they have to give camera bump , and thats why people like to buy iphone , now i have understand why people love iphones ... but truely asus has made greate phones till now and zenfone 2 series is just good nothing a simple complain... i hope from asus that they soon launch mid range phone like asus zenphone 2 lazer ,selfi n all but remeber that phone has come without camera bump... thanks.

  • Just curious. 32bit os can only support max 4gb of ram. 64bit os and app can support more than that. Question: do all android app have support 64 bit ?

  • Eagerly waiting for this phone as my Zenfone 5 got under a car's wheel. Used Zenfone 5 for around 1.5 years and there was no problem with the device. Zenfone 3 is looking great spec wise.

  • And what do u say about it being dualcore? I know that tge 3000mah battery will ge sufficient enough but dualcore? For big specs likes this?

  • There is no IR Blaster

  • o no, now i really cry as people tell my my english not nice. boo, hoo hoo. be nice every ones.

  • this look good, i like. when it comes to Philipi as miah current phone est not good. I buy when it cums available as it is what look for and not long to hold. I used zenfone 2 and thinks amazing of it. i thinks not 3,000 be more to keep power on, yes? it make me cry ben I read not more... boo hoo :(

  • yes you go for 256gb one and u dont need a computer and a laptop isnt it? smartphone is enough for doing everything isnt it?

  • Wait... is it 16MP or 23MP?

  • Bigger battery = Thicker and heavier phone.

  • Is there a slow motion mode?

  • The only downsides I see are: 1. Only 3000 mAh battery. 2. MicroSD uses SIM2 slot, so if I buy this I can't use a MicroSD. So I have to buy the 256GB one.

  • So this ir sensor can't be used as ir remote for controlling Tv's, AC etc. ???? Plz clarify. Thanks.

  • Can we shoot slow motion videos?

  • The InfraRed sensors just used to measure distance of the photos object, it's help the camera more focus beside using OIS technology... The IR sensor located on the back next to rear camera...

  • Agree with you, pls update me here if you figured out it's correct or not, as it's so much important for me

  • Asus zenfone 3 deluxe 99% ok but 1%bad.. but why asus company? your big mistek. ..1!%

  • I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that it clearly states that it has an ir sensor according their official website, but I've tried watching almost all the hands-on videos and they made no mention of it, neither does it have a spot for it. Even GSMArena says it does. Kinda weird though. Could be a typo from both sites.

  • Games (sorry for my bad english)

  • Plz put on next gen Dual or Quad speakers. Five or Seven mAgNeT speakers.

  • Alas, so much !!!! Why single five magnet speakers !? Han ... ?

  • why not use the battery life of zenfone max of 5000mAh

  • If they market it soon, it'll force others to bring out their 6GB models.

  • why not use the battery life of zenfone max of 5000mAh

  • Can we use the ir sensor in this phone as an ir blaster? And where is the sensor located? The sensor is said to exist in this phone according to the asus official site.

  • Please update the spec highlights on the top of the page... the camera resolution is 23MP no 16MP

  • wait for intel quadcore 64bit inside with low consume power and screen 5" - 5,5" with 128gb emmc and 3-4gb ram.

  • This Asus phone is amazing no doubt. Only problem is that the markets in which Asus phones have a solid fan base like Asia, we have no use for such a powerful device. Here in the Philippines for example where are data/internet speeds are comparable to 80s dial up, we have no use for a speedy phone because we can't use it anyway LOL.

  • 3000 mAh battery ????????????????????????????????????

  • Let me try first after buying review could be done, but I hope it will be incredfible, already I m using Zenfone 2

  • Doesn't it have a 23Mpx camera rather than 16? Anyway, it looks great and I like the metallic body but just wish the black edge at the bottom of the screen wasn't quite so thick. It'd also be nicer if the back also had the concentric circles of the front.

  • and a 256 internal memory XD

  • it is priced at 499 $

  • why multitouch up 5 finger ? i think it is 10

  • It has fm radio

  • This phone is amazing with decent specifications and so charming to me. The 6GB size of RAM is a little bit extravagant and even larger than my personal computer .........

  • It has the latest sony sensor imx318. Which will be the best ois because the sensor has integrated ois in its chipset. Not like samsung or htc. They implant those ois to a sony sensor. Autofocus in miliseconds. Snapdragon 820 with 4/6gb ram, 64gb ufs 2.0 memory, 1080p 5.7" super amoled screen with high quality graphic engine. Phone has invisible antenna, fingerprint reader, high quality amp, smaller and lighter than iphone 6s+ with a larger screen. And the price tag is 200/150 usd less than s7-g5-XPerf-Htc10. And people still call this masterpiece expensive?? I dont't understand people.

  • This Mobile is Amazing I decide to buy this mobile as my first smartphone because i wait for oneplus 3 and decide which is Better.

  • this phone is ameging soo incrediable

  • Specs for zenfone 3 and when it available in the philippines?

  • actually i don't know the strength of asus zenfone but this one seems powerful and a type that would interest every body. i think i like it very much. please don't soar the price too much so we can switch to your phone.

  • Zenfone 3 deluxe is a very good move by asus. Ithe idea of having 256 gb internal + expandable memory makes it unique. Camera performance by the 23 mp camera is expected to be fabulous . As far as processing is concerned I dont think anyyone should complaint about snapdragon 820 that too with 6gb ram.

  • Such a big phone yet only 3000 mah? Even though its sufficient because it is only fhd, but makes you wonder where have those spaces go to?

  • It doesn't have FM radio so bad radio sometimes are very useful in phone the only problem of this phone :-(

  • i am waiting these specs since two years, like 23mp camera with ois feature at reliable price, thank you zenfone, please tell me when it available in india.

  • Wats the price for this Handset

  • I'm not sure but : Zenfone 3 deluxe (single speaker) Zenfone 3 ultra (dual speakers)

  • It seems this one has Fm radio, because I have seen the radio icon on a video.

  • Why 5.7'' ??? Its a way too much big ! why dont they phones with 5.3'' or 5.5'' display ? And they should have use snapdragon 823 for this pricetag instead of 820 .. Really disappointed !

  • S it is true

  • Yeah but zenfone 3 deluxe has a 1080p screen, a more demanding chipset and gpu, and a super amoled screen.

  • noooooo..sticking to my zen 2 for a while then waiting for the price to drop a bit

  • Its flagship, u must compare it with similar phone like S7. This phone have SUPER AMOLED, SD 820 and 6GB RAM. Moreover 23MP camera. If u want middle price phone ZF3 regular may fit for u not this one. But i think this phone so cheap. U get S7 with lower price and little bit upgrade and LARGER screen.

  • Yeah.. But not done that in 500 dollars, that is P9's price which doesn't even have gorilla glass display. Will be interesting to see what zuk z2 pro does to compete. And this is price at launch, i am sure price will drop in couple months.

  • It has a 23MP camera. And I don't think battery life would be an issue as it has a 1080P screen and SD820 chipset. It also has the Doze feature. Even the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 3,000 Mah Battery and it also sports a QHD screen, but the battery life is really good.

  • Grab it from future

  • Xiaomi note5 ????

  • Samsung be like "Been there done that higher than that" S7 Edge

  • Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery is not sufficient. Without it no FM Radio also weak point.

  • Asus is becoming expensive now

  • Not true buddy, having 3000mAh battery doesnt mean it will have poor battery life.remember the xperia t2 ultra has the same battery capacity and it was doing 96hrs endurance, more than 1000hrs of standby time

  • I like the design of this smartphone also the hardware but for the battery I really don't like. the battery's like LG G4,

  • Good looking phone. Great spec. I love it.

  • Actually it's dual 5 magnet speakers on Zenfone 3 Deluxe

  • Small battery capacity. 4000mAh is a standard today. Poor Asus

  • Very beautifull phone :o

  • Mi is not a phone its a joke. SO don't compare this to any Mi phones

  • Battery is low even redmi note 3 provides 4000 Mah

  • 256Gb version with 128Gb micro sd card is good for me. Just! Alas for single five magnet speaker.

  • hi guys i have a Xiaomi note5 price is very cool but quality is very low(Camera has very very bad quality) i think if asus have be quality is best selection for buy

  • see the link above. Why Asus not mention / write that the sensor used is Sony imx318? Only written 23MP. BTW.. sony imx318 is 22.5MP. It should be mentioned / written, Asus should pride that Zenfone 3 deluxe / ultra is that the first (world's first) that using sony imx318 sensor. (Or maybe it's just hoax, the sensor is not sony imx318 but use OmniVision OV23850 23MP ???) ps: all previous zenfone (example zenfone2, etc etc) asus said / wrote that the sensor is Toshiba (https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone_2_ZE551ML/)

  • Does this phone support an Infrared sensor? In the specs, it says it does but they made no mention of it in any of the video review and neither does it spot an ir sensor.

  • yes.. mi 5.

  • its sad that it doesn't have its own sd card slot that you can still use dual sim unlike the zenfone 2.

  • Does this phone have Infrared and FM Radio?

  • Using nano & Micro SimCard so we can't switch the simcard 1&2. MicroSD using SimCard Slot 2, so we must choose to use only SimCard 2 or MicroSD, then I choose not to buy this phone even its have great specs with a competitive price maybe i just wait for the next generation of Zenfone next year with Micro-Micro or Nano-Nano SimCard with optional MicroSD card

  • bring a powerbank instead.

  • My Zen 2 is "one of those" in addition to the dual SIM slots, there is an sd slot as well.

  • The Mate 8 wins...

  • check your specs. not accurate.

  • it has fm radio ...

  • It's mostly the screen, not the SoC that uses up the battery. At 5.7 inches and 3000 mah expect all time lows from this Asus phone. They could at least let users replace the battery (carry a spare) ... but noooo

  • I think mi5. Better spec and the price is so amazing

  • probably the only thing I dislike, ZenUI

  • Battery capacity would not be a problem is they simply allowed a replaceable battery. If they want to make their customers happy they create a replaceable battery design, if they just care about us buying another phone soon ... no replaceable battery

  • It uses sd820 which is battery efficient so no prob at all

  • great body and perfect specs! but those gigerbread buttons... :-s

  • is dual

  • I've experienced that ASUS has decent customer services from couple years ago when I had to deal with them for my tablet. Not sure if the other two has service places in NA.

  • And also 3000 mAh battery capacity is unfortunate.

  • Why big black bar? It makes the phone much bigger.

  • I hate so called dual sim phones using memory slot for second sim. This is one of those.

  • 23mp

  • So it will be available after 2 weeks approximately? Will be nice to know price.

  • i like zenfone 3 deluxe....best specs....powered by qualcom 820 chipset....but the multi touch....only 5...?

  • Definitely buying the Zenfone 3 Ultra. If only Zenfone 3 Deluxe using Win 10 Mobile with Continuum. I'll buy both.

  • Forget the specs crap! This is the BEST LOOKING PHONE ever!!!!

  • I don't get it: to make a removable backplate and glue the bloody battery to the motherboard. Why? To force people to replace their phone after 1-2 years of active use? Realistically, these batteries hold only 80% percent of charge after 1.5 year and ~70% after 2 (or even less), which combining 3000mAh original capacity after 2 years will run your phone dead in just a few hours of browsing. If it cant be easily replaced I'm not f* buying it.

  • compare to note 5, I think I'm getting this phone :)

  • 2 things i worried b4 getting it 1. 1. battery life (with or without always on display) 2. fingerprint sensor respond. They keep mentioned the fingerprint scanner can do lots more stuff. What would that be?? Pls GSMarena make a full review...

  • Super, Awesome, Real, Flagship, Allrounder, Master, Perfect, Beast................. As there's an IR Blaster, will it support Peel Remote control? Please confirm me. Thanks. I think the time has come for retire my LG G4.

  • Yes, I saw one of the hands on videos.

  • Super perfect phone at a very very reasonable price ... Hats off Asus u guys did it once again...!! OK coming to specs ... 5.7 s.amoled 1080p is just awesome... The main feature .... The most awaited imx318 from Sony .... Just awesome

  • Between this, the standard 5.5 Asus Zen3, Huawei P9 and Xiaomi Mi 5. what do you suggest and why?

  • It was ok bro. Most important is more efficient = More Battery Life

  • I think it okay for more efficient power.

  • A design is super premium like Huawei Mate 8 but little better, Maybe. Screen size 5.7" with S.AMOLED + FHD (more efficient) was perfect, Chipset perfect, Internal perfect too and finally camera I think perfect. But one thing problem is battery capacity 3000mAH. It can be perfect smartphone for me if capacity of battery is 3500mAH - 4000mAH.

  • Do the capacitive keys have backlighting??

  • Buy 2. 265GB

  • More info : 100Gb is just for about 45 album.

  • Yes.

  • Disadvantage: Non-removable batt, and 3000mAh is not enough. But this is another masterpiece of Asus, congrats!

  • Still a great device with it's price range.

  • Now my wav files audio is more than 100Gb really I need extra memory on internal also on SD card So! If u haven't any problem for buy this brilliant ; Congratulation.

  • What is the different 2k res n 1920*1080 res ??? Nothing.......

  • Guys, where I can buy it? ali still doesn't sell it.

  • no problem with this spec i will buy it.its far better than s7 nad g5 i had

  • best phone

  • There's FM Radio. I saw some of the hands-on videos.

  • its 820 ..super dupper save that battery

  • The main disadvantage of this device in my opinion is the 1080 p screen stretched to 5.7in, leaving only 386 ppi. with such a beast might as well go with 2k res

  • Very disappointing battery size. Should have had 3500 mAh for an allegedly flagship device.

  • Disappointed!!!

  • Isn't a 23 Mp camera sensor?

  • 3000 mah battery is not enough.

  • non-removable batteries (T_T).

  • 256Gb is more than 700$ !!!

  • I have no problem with the battery, this model switching from Intel to Quallcom and IPS to AMOLED, expect a higher endurance rating.

  • 500$ for 64Gb & 4Gb ram.

  • GS7 E = 800 euro i6 S plus = 750 euro Xx performance = more than 700 euro Htc 10 = 700 euro Huawei P9 plus = 700 euro In the end : Z3 Deluxe (Sd 820+6Gb) 500$

  • if they release 256gb one i will buy it for sure

  • my only comment is the battery, I think it is very average given the size of the screen

  • I am interested in this device but not sure how the UI is and how good is asus with android updates.
