Asus Zenpad 3S 10 Z500M - User Reviews

  • it doesn't have a flash ........

  • Anyone know how to enable high frame mode in mobile legends on this tablet?

  • use a usb-c to hdmi cable

  • Is there anyway to connect this tablet to a TV via HDMI for training purposes?

  • Oh yes gaming

  • hEY guys, what rather would you take... Asus zenpad 3s z500m or Huawei Mediapad m5 pro (10.8)

  • None will work. It doesn't support HDMI. I have tried and I had to return the cable.

  • I have a question regarding the internal memory and the SD card "shared memory"...I own this tablet and also bought an additional 64GB micro SD card..all my games and some apps are currently occupying the internal memory, however my question is..what will happen when the internal memory is full?? all future apps and games that I download will then be on the SD card?? I'm not familiar with the "shared memory" term that much, reason for my question. Thanks in advance.

  • How do you connect the Asuz Zenpad 3S 10 to a TV via a HDMI port? What type of USB-C to HDMI adapter works with this product?

  • NTFS is not a file format. It is a file system used by Windows.

  • I just bought this tablet becaus it was on sale.. It is fast basically and very nice screen.. The most I like is the bluelight filter feature..it really help to lessen strain in my eyes.. Im loving it for the moment..

  • Hello!Does anyone know if this tab plays NTFS files?

  • Hello!Does anyone know if this tab plays NTFS files?

  • Just bought this, replaced my now retired Nexus 10. Really fast compared to that. More than happy with it so far.

  • I don't find OTG support , doesn't detect a USB storage device ,

  • Got this ASUS ZenPad when it first came out. Was loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, only. Gee that got old fast too .... Anyway, last night I finally got 7.0 Nougat downloaded to me. So now, I'll be catching up with all the other nice folks out there in Droid-land. Now don't get me wrong I think... NO I KNOW (!!!), that I have the finest 10" Pad on the market, even with it being almost a whole year old. I've looked at all the others, even that nice Sammy one that will cost you an extra Leg and maybe one Arm, to boot, this little guy is way FAST and is very easy to operate. Why? Because if an old guy like me can work it, I'd think all you Nerds out there in Droid-Land could do it better. But really, take it from me, Pop da Old Man, get up/go out and get yourself one, then you will enjoy one of the finest Pads on the Market. Be sure to tell them "Pop da Old man, sent me", you'll be glad that you did !!

  • 1st one

  • The Lenovo Yoga Pad 3 does not allow you to draw directly on the screen. You have to use the keyboard and look at the screen while drawing or writing, which to me is weird and unpleasant, as well as being awkward. I don't understand why anyone who likes to write or draw would choose this tablet. Given that you are looking for a tab with a stylus, I would go with Asus, which also has better specs.

  • My dearest. As you may read specification,it has mentioned that it is not GSM device working worldwide ! But the newest 7800 mah brand of Asus has the global GSM capabilities.Good luck as Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar.

  • My Microphone is not working. I cant chat over skype or imo

  • Mine cant even handle clash royale. smh. Such a disappointment.

  • This tablet DOES NOT have vibration!!!! Although on the specs it says "SOUND Alert types Vibration; MP3, WAV ringtones" , this is wrong! It does not have vibration!

  • I need help to connect my Z500M to a monitor vga or hdmi. I try with to adapters and no works with usbc port. Somebody knows why?? There are some solution???

  • You try to buy it on the ASUS website. Tell them, "That Pop, sent me!"

  • why they don't make it available worldwide? I really want to buy it, but it is not available here in the country I lived in(Philippines)... T_T

  • I don't know what was going on with the tablet you tried but I just downloaded CSR2 to try it out and the game ran perfectly. I didn't find any settings to increase the visuals but it looks really good (the game it self is crap, though). I play other games like Dungeon Hunter 5, Order and Chaos 2, Shadow Gun Deadzone and Minecraft without any issues. This tablet is no powerhouse, I understand that, but it definitely can handle current games.

  • I don't know about that. I tired Zenpad 3S expecting a lot from it considering the high-grade specs. Turns out it can't even run some games I play (i.e. CSR 2) on full graphics which was a HUGE disappointment. It's fast and looks like an iPad but the Tab S2 is probably a better buy. S3 is obviously not worth it right now (I'd just go with Pixel C or iPad Pro because 600 price tag) but S2 can be had for under 300 bucks for the SM-T813 model (which has the Snapdragon 652 with supposedly better performance and battery).

  • Lenovo yoga tab 3 plus (wifi only) OR asus zen pad 3s 10 (wifi only) ? Which one should I buy?

  • It is much better than the tab s2 & s3!

  • Why do You need Sim Slot?

  • Yes, buy the asus z stylus

  • Why do you need a Sim Card?

  • Android 7 coming soon:-)

  • i liked this very very much but at the sametime i dint like it very very much..because no sim card ....

  • Super tablet , fast charge super sound beautyfull display !! i recomend this one !

  • Could you please explain if you managed to fix problem #2 and how?

  • What brand sd card do you use.? On 3s10 . It will not take a samsung we card ,.it says to use the right one but does not say what brand

  • Is it released in kuwait? Please do reply

  • Had the tablet for about 3 months. It is absolutely great. But I does have some drawbacks. 1. Battery life is not great on standby. I've come home from work after leaving it fully charged and it will be down to about 60%. Sure there are settings you can change to make this better, but generally it's not great 2. Had a long suffering issue with micro SD disconnecting and reconnecting. Eventually discovered it was due to power reduction in the CPU and would stop reading card in standby 3. Most irritating problem and yet unsolved - when listening to audio (from apps, music players, videos, games etc) it will drop down in volume considerable every few seconds. It is as though there is a audio limiter effect running in the background. Audio will drop down in quiet sections and stay at that level until there is a peak in the sound and it will jump up to normal volume again. Much like audio ducking. But it is not there when using headphones. I have tried all settings, used the audio boost app provided by Asus and bypasses it, but still not able to solve it. If anyone has any advice on how to resolve it I would be extremely grateful

  • Asus so expensive and no sim slot. Samsung galaxy tab a 10.1 is beter

  • asus zenpad 3s 10 z500KL with LTE already in malaysia market cost RM 1799. just launched feww day ago. Yes with LTE, 4GB 7800Mah

  • still my country it cost me rm1800 with no celluar

  • I don't know what the other guys say about this tablet but to tell you the truth I was in doubt whether to buy it or not. Actually I was between Asus and the IPad Pro 9.7 and I ended up with ASUS most of all because of the price. Overall I've been using this tablet for over 2 months now and I can say on a scale 1 to 10 that blew my mind, I strongly recommend it and for 340 dollars you get the tablet, the case and the pen instead of give 550 to get just the IPad Pro. Asus is fast, has an amazing camera and speakers, runs 6.0.1 Marshmallow and probably will be upgradable to Nougat 7.0 and nice aluminum body. And last, let's be serious guys, you buy a tablet for what? For bussiness? Hell no.. If you wanna do bussiness you buy q desktop which is more reliable and better for that. Tablets is just for browsing the web, playing games and watching movies sometimes. ASUS made me change my mind about this company when it comes to tablet.

  • Been using this tablet for almost a month now. Pretty great screen and zero- lag performance. However, not so great build quality and feels fragile as it sometimes creaks during normal operation. Mine had a bad finish as well so the quality control aspect of Asus isn't upto scratch either. But for the price it is excellent if we only consider the performance. Can't use it without a proper case and once it has a case, yhen doesn't seem so bad.

  • Not sure what you mean, but I can transfer files from a Windows pc to t

  • Can ou access files on a Windows LAN?

  • This is a follow-up to my earlier post. Miracast is still a problem; although it no longer disconnects, playing videos through it is unstable. Also, I have had no luck transferring files through the USB type c connection; it simply does not work. I hope Asus can fix these problems, otherwise this tablet is limited to its media & game functions, and productivity functions are out the window.

  • Asus will release z500kl soon. Z500M - non gsm Z500Kl - 4g lte Still waiting

  • I have it for 3 weeks super highspeed especially after the update the zenui is a bit disapointing and the dts x to is useless but the screen the proccesor the price the speakers and the metal chasis are great!!!! I really recomend it

  • Is it with S pen feature

  • "Fast battery charging: 83% in 30 min (Quick Charge 3.0)" Are you guys of yer knockers? Maximum power for QC3.0 is only 18W. The battery is 22Wh. Means it would take way more than 1 hour to charge if it was at the maximum possible power.

  • I've had mine for about 5 days and it's really nice and very fast. The sound is verygood and the camera is better than they say it is.

  • This tablet better be worth the wait, the specs of the tablet are good.

  • This tab is zippy fast with smooth graphics. I could even play a 4k video at 60fps on it. The fingerprint unlock works well & is very welcome. My only problem is that the PlayTo app connection (screen mirroring / miracast) is not stable (keeps disconnecting) - a problem I didn't have with the s 8.0. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update (none so far). Will post if so.

  • Finally returned mine ( Amazon ). Could'nt live with all the Zen crap Asus thinks is cool to put on Android. And no root or unlockable bootloader in sight. Was a hard decision, as the hardware is great, but Asus customizations and bootloader lockdown is the problem here...

  • Probably my next buy. Cheapest 64gb, quality screen & 4gb ram on the market.

  • when this tablet launch in india

  • I replaced my MediaPad M3 for Zenpad 3S 10 since the MediaPad was laggy and crashing but now everything runs perfectly smooth with Zenpad.

  • im thinking that Asus Zenpad Z10 ZT500KL is much better than this and much cheaper with longer battery life.

  • asus much better spec

  • Zenpad 3s 10 or 2016 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (under $300) version?

  • Is this like your other tablets asus ? I mean it comes with android 6 and dies with it ? just like other flag ships in 10 inch tablets you had earlier ?

  • Between Asus and LG, who runs these companies? Don't they know how to release their products to the consumers? This tablet should have been out 2 months ago and it's still hasn't had a formal date given. Just plain stupid.

  • it's a high end tablet with 4gb....no way to find better deal on any chinese online superstore why? when you buy on chinese superstore hardware equivalent YOU only have windows tablets with dual boot Android....and the android memory is very low 10gb for 64gb available! i experienced the problem of not being able to run more all apps i wanted encountering constant memory shortness and NO way to extend the android memory over windows allowed memory IT'S clearly a Microsoft strategy to promote Windows on tablets selling a dual boot to attract android users but giving them too small space to use it comfortably to PUSH them to revert to Windows! best probe is that you clearly see the windows logo on the tablet! thus, an android only tablet with huge memory and specs at competitive price is almost not possible to find currently on chinese superstores! Asus has a clever strategy to make their devices available at the same price everywhere and offering great value for money do not hesitate to post a chinese tablet with 4gb ram running android ONLY with a 10 inch screen 2K ? thanks

  • yeah me too still waiting to root or unlock bootloader ! Got little update didn't do it yet... should I. Otherwise great tablet

  • Everything is too late. I was going to buy this tab because it support z pen plus type c so i wait and wait and wait but they wont sell it in malaysia. So bought Samsung tab s2 9.7 instead. I guess they wont sell it in malaysia just like the zenpad s 8.0 and other powerful tablet. they only sell zenpad 7 Z170(fail product). so goodbye Zenpad 3s 10 and hello Samsung tab s2 9.7

  • Sounds like samsung is a some sort of religion to you

  • Great device, but still no info about bootloader unlocking, rooting etc.

  • Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is not on the market yet... so at this moment, no one knows how's the battery life... But I'm using Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 8 inch for the past 2 years (almost), with Intel Atom processor & 6,400mah (even bigger than this Zenpad), i can play online game (DomiNations, my favourite) for around 4 hours screen on time... which is quite good...

  • It's in curry's uk now go online £300. Can't find anything else as good of this in terms of price spec etc, the yoga tab 3 pro is good in terms of battery and size but with less ram and not for games, more of a movie porewhouse. With this Asus it's good for all round the dimensions not the best for movies but it does not really matter as I prefer to use the TV Also if come from the galaxy tab s 8.4 which I loved but I seen the difference with the asus and it's big, yes there will be better out there soon but for 300 with all the qualities it's amazing

  • But how long does the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus last on that 9300mAh?

  • Why can't I buy it yet?

  • cool. Cheaper than Galaxy tab s2 but better than Galaxy tab s

  • 9.7 inch 2k display with 5900mah battery??? Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is giving 9300mah battery!!! Plus Snapdragon 652 SOC, 4 stereo speakers & built-in kickstand!!!

  • stereo speaker becomes useless in landscape mode.

  • My dearest readers. My favorite tablet!I wish it had USB type 3.1+OTG too.I just wanted to know if there is a place to exchange my Asus fonepad with this much more advanced up to date beautiful tablet!!!?I have to mention that my fonepad has some unique qualities that even nowadays most smartdevices lack then!!!But,I have always being defeated by spammers and malware spreaders!!!Thanks to be notified+gsmArena...!!!?Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar....Hope of my view,s publishing. Thanks all.

  • No gorilla glass 😑

  • I contacted Asus and it's going to be a curry's exclusive which is in the u.k and will cost £300 and is going to be released very very soon. For the price this is a very good tablet, since it's only a 6core processor, it's very powerful with the 4gb ram and graphics card it's a bargain

  • Why should we buy a watered down Galaxy tab s that costs only 100 euros less? And with no samsung logo on the front?

  • WTF is going on with that

  • WHEN will THIS be released in Bangkok, Thailand ???!!!

  • Talk time????! WTF!!!!

  • Dearest readers. Why should not be fair!!!?This is a high quality tablet, like a laptop, that doesn't work with world GSM networks!!!But with almost complete WiFi,Bluetooth and other superior specifications and of course with affordable price even with using Mediatek can be a useful smartdevice specifically for students!!Unfortunately,if I am right,a mistake has been happened!!?The battery must be 9500 for this 10 inches tablet that is written 5900 by mistake!!!Hopefully,Asus the independent itself, make correction !!I have to add that nowadays Asus is a great third entity in the world and doesn't need to imitate even from the great Samsung!!For our void claims,we must also bring the legal logical evidences but not void rumors!!!?Just facts and factwriting! Thanks all mentioned and unmentioned unknown dearest...Justice Rights.Omid12omidvar.

  • NO! It's Samsung look-a-like product! Can Asus make something with your own character?

  • The tab that everyone are waiting

  • I was really hoping for Asus to continue with out the need for a static home key. I like to hold my tablet in any orientation and have the home and navigation buttons to be in the same place and never have to worry about hitting the home button. Asus who invented the concept of a convertible tablet and laptop has opted to not have a keyboard their newest flagship tablet, but continues its offering of the accessory for its much less desirable 10 inch models. I am an enormous fan of Asus but was disappointed in this "flagship". I am willing to pay ASUS more money to have it done right with no compromises. Asus use to be the most innovative when it came to pushing the form and function of its devises. This looks like a Samsung, i-Pad mashup. I did not want to go with the Android Pixel C and was hoping for a device following in the heritage of the at the time ground breaking transformer prime series. Devises that were sexy, sleek with top bench marking hardware and offered keyboards that extended battery life, contestability in a Ultrabook transformed tablet. This was being touted as a come back tablet for both ASUS and Android for but coming in thicker then the pixel C with weaker software, less pixels and no keyboard a year after Apple, Sony and Google released their flagship devises is disappointing. I don’t think of ASUS when in the market for mid to low end devises. HP, Dell and Acer usual fill those ranks. I am afraid this will be another flop for ASUS. On the brighter side the Asus S8 Tablet is still in my opinion a true flagship out performing other tablets almost 2 years since its launch, with style, great benchmarks, a killer screen forward facing speakers in a super slim metal and leather finish. There is some great value with this device. Still cranking out high performance unique tablets are Sony’s x4 (full waterproof 10”) with keybard at 1000.00 CAD, the Pixel C with keyboard at 950.00 CAD and Asus S8 650.00 CAD with active Zen stylus. I will remain a strong supporter of ASUS but will not be writing any reviews for this device on this device.

  • its 16:10 if not im a god @!wtf....(^_^)

  • Quick Charge 3.0? on a Mediatek Chipset?

  • Samsung tab with an ipad screen ratio. Very original, asus.

  • if anyone will buy this good looking tablet, after 2 or 3 months of purchase your tablet will enable ASUS ghost touch.

  • 4:3 optimum for browsing the web + book reading + gaming + hand grip, more space for landscape onscreen keyboard. A lot of benefits. 16:9 is only for some videos (Movies only) and nothing else. Thats why 16.9 is not popular. 16:10 if buttons are physical. (As software onscreen + 16:9 would be too much on landscape mode)

  • Why the f is everyone saying 16:9 is best. Learn the difference from 16:9 and 16:10

  • 4:3 is used for book reading and some games but generally 16:9 Is better

  • No SIM Y on earth there is no sim here... such a waste for this good looking tablet

  • This is now a real Android tablet for 2016! Nice job Asus! Not like Samsung that offers the same low specs each year.

  • Again 4:3?? Cmon, it is 2016, how do i watch YouTube and Twitch? With huge black stripes? U forcing me to buy Huawei...

  • Hi Pros : 1. Hexa core 2. Stereo speakers 3. DTS HD sound 4. 5900 mAh 5. 4Gb ram 6. USB type-c 7. Micro SD up to 256Gb Cons : 1. Sim : No 2. Only 264 ppi pixel density Overall : not bad ...

  • Now, I would like to see personal flying machines...That will be the ultimate technology which everybody waiting for...lets assume that you are planing to fly to your work by your flying skateboard or flying drone..what will be the delight if any type of bumpy road will be delight for traveling...Tablets can be used as gps navigatin

  • I think we came to the end? What are we waiting from tablets? I think nothink left to wish...may be somebody wants to cook for them but what pity will be desire...Samsung already invented all goodness (i know a lot of people will disagree) but what else we are waiting for?

  • Samsung Tab S2 in the front HTC Nexus 9 in the Back No innovation what so ever ASUS Just like Zenfone 2 with volume buttons on the back like LG
